Worthless waste of money. This app completely stopped working after one week. Plus, it wasn’t accurate when it was working.

Ads Appear Using Pro. Every touch made on this app brings up an ad. Deleting. Waste of money.

Amazingly accurate when used a directed. I was put off the negative reviews but decided to try it anyways. If you follow the instructions exactly as given by the app, place your finger covering the camera AND the flash light. Do NOT press hard as it changes your blood flow pattern (regular touch) and tap measure. Tried it on all my family members and then measured the actual pulse the good ol fashioned way and with a heart rate monitor device. The app reported a pulse within 1bpm of the actual heart rate. It worked perfectly after a workout and when resting with the heart rate ranging from 56bpm to 148 bpm and it reported 55 and 147 respectively. Nicely done!!

It works, but needs continuous mode.. It does its job and does it well, but it needs a continuous mode. It jumps around a lot, whereas most monitors have a sort of lag/average mode. This one (probably; can't test without continuous mode) gives your true heart rate, live. If you're healthy and unstressed, your heart rate changes every time you breathe in or out. Most HR monitors average this number. This one doesn't do that until the very end, and I'd like to see that my live heart rate is, for biofeedback purposes.

Fake. It’s totally fake app!

Does not work.. Does not pick up a single heart beat. I have an app called Cardiograph and it works fantastic. I am glad this app was free today, because that is all it is worth. I deleted it!

Ads. If you are going to add ads to a pro version of an app, I’ll just delete and move on to one of your competitors. No thanks!

Total garbage.. Tried seven times to use this app and could never get a reading completed because ads popped up every time before it could be completed. Don’t waste your time with this crap app. 100% waste of time. Should be taken off of the App Store. If I could rate this app a negative star I would.

It doesn’t work at all. It is useless and not earn any cent at all.

Glad I didn’t pay for it. When it gives me a pulse rate it’s wrong. Other time it gives me a zero. I guess I’m dead.

Worthless. Never could get it to work. Played with it for half hour, tried different fingers, couldn’t get an accurate reading no matter what I tried. Waste of money

Garbage. Place finger as instructed and… nothing. Never works.

Worked well.. Just downloaded the app. I also have the Argus app. I took my pulse on both, seconds apart and got the exact same reading. The Argus app does not make you watch an advertisement before it displays your pulse ( it has very few advertisements). I do not need two pulse apps, so this one goes due to the way the advertisements are handled.

Minor bugs fixed?????. Looks like all they did was add full page ads after every measurement. An occasional ad and I would have kept and you would have earned $$ from the ads. Too many ads like you have now is a delete and you earn nothing. Bye!!

Unable to turn off spam. Spam in app after measure. Cannot turn off.

Useless. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max. This app doesn’t fit on the screen. It won’t save my heart rate.

How can this work. An ad starts every two second. EVERY TWO seconds. Even when you close out and reopen the ap. My heart rate is up due to frustration. Very poor ap

Don’t bother.... It’s called “Pro” but is ad after ad after ad. Cool technology but I don’t need to see the same add three or four times just to get one heart rate count. Use your fingers and your iPhone’s stop watch to count your heart rate faster and more accurately.

Ad error. Can’t get it to work. Half way into the assessment, it says it will show an ad, than it shuts down. Deleted the app, useless

Inaccurate. A complete an utter ridiculous waste of time. I tried multiple times. I got rates varying from 52-72 after at least 10 attempts. I manually took my pulse, which is 86. I am an experienced nurse practitioner and am capable of capturing a correct heart rate (HR) manually, so this is not operator error. You’re better off checking your pulse by putting two fingers up to the front/side of your neck, apply gentle pressure and move your fingers vertically and slowly until you can feel your pulse through your carotid artery. Now using a stopwatch or a wristwatch with a second hand, begin counting the beats (wait for the second hand to hit 12, 3, 6, or 9) to making counting for an appropriate length of time easier. Options for this is to count for: a) 15 seconds and multiply the number by 4; or b) 30 seconds and double it; or c) count for the full 60 seconds. There you have it... an accurate heart rate (for FREE!). By the way, do you really trust developers unable (or too lazy) to describe their invention/app, in their ad no less, without multiple grammatical or spelling errors? For me... nope, no way! Check each of the three pages they have of “how to” directions. If you want to sell something... for gosh sakes man... proofread everything you post/write in your ad, or hire someone to do it for you. It’s just common sense to “look” professional, even if your “invention here” is worthless. I tried it because it’s free on AppAdvice, but now I will be deleting it. :(

App should have paid me.. It’s absolute junk. It’s not accurate.

Somewhat accurate, but no connection to Apple Health. “Pro” app that interrupts with full screen ads. Have an iWatch but always nice to have a backup. Measured 80 on app, 83 on wrist. No tie-in to Apple Health so deleting.

Pretty Bad. Got it for free but it was a ripoff at that price. Pulse measurements were plus/minus 30% compared to actual medical gear - far too inaccurate, even for casual use. The constant pop-up ads severely interfere with its operation.

No lo quiero. Pediré un reembolso de inmediato. No lo recomiendo no da valores que realmente informe parámetros de importancia y relevancia para cuidados médicos primarios personales.

Free version useless. Can’t use free version because it’s all videos & ads. It appears to have potential, but because the free version is so tied to advertising, one can’t make a judgement. Therefore I won’t even consider buying it.

Doesn’t work. The newest update added larger ads and now it doesn’t work at all. Shuts down after it finishes the measurement. Glad it was free

Refuses to detect my finger. This is the only camera-based heart rate app I’ve ever tried that cannot get a reading from any of my fingers. It insists that I’m not doing it right, even when I do it the exact way the in-app help says, and the same way that other heart rate apps accept with little trouble. I’ll stick with the very old, but still completely functional, heart rate app I’ve been using for years.

Annoying ads too often. It takes few attempts to measure correctly, 2 ads displayed per attempt

App works. Quite well but “drops out” occasionally and has to be restarted. It would also help if one could export the data for proper analysis.

Too many ads. It started out as a clean app. Now it’s riddled with ads for almost every step you take with this app.

Ad Attack. FOLLOW UP: After a “bug fix” update I get ads popping up during the measurement step in HeartRatePRO. Unworkable! PREVIOUSLY: I didn’t use this for a while. Today I found that every time I touched a button I got an ad—as well as ads while the app was in the middle of a reading. I’ll try another time...but at this point it is unworkable.

Way too many ads. Use to use daily but now never. This app is very good and would have received 4/5 stars But the ad over usage is way too distracting. Too bad - was a very handy app.
