A MUST BUY!!!. This game is great! It has an incredible and captivating story that really draws you in and care about Taylor, the student astronaut who you help get through this intense adventure by making choices for him. The game is heavily based off of your decisions because of every choice you make. Unlike other games that do this, Lifeline makes their choices actually matter and almost every choice will alter how the game's story will be told. I've played through the game three times already and by changing one choice in the game I got completely different story arcs. Unfortunately this game is not as good as the original (which I would highly recommend by the way) but it is a great follow up. Now I really hope they make another one because I absolutely love this series and the character Taylor. My suggestion would be to make the story longer and just more impactful like the first one. At times I felt the game was more of a Christmas special instead of a full game. Despite that though the game was excellent and has kept me very invested for days now. I highly recommend this game for everyone who wants either a casual game to play and/or a great story to be a part of.

Good Game.. This and Lifeline 2 (with Akira) are the first two apps I've ever bought. Unfortunately, I feel the original Taylor story was better than this installment. Couple reasons why; Taylor seems to not really take the situation he's/she's surrounded in seriously as Taylor is almost always making pop culture references. Taylor is also kind of a genius but like a bit toooooo smart, Taylor's intelligence level makes the story lack in the realism aspect of things. He/She is surrounded by a crew of people and they're all useless, he/she seems to be the only smart person in the story. The story isn't as suspenseful as the first and that's because us the players, are aware of the threat, while playing part one I had no idea that the threat was gonna be what it would eventually be and that's unavoidable. The game also went too fast, understandable since Taylor is now in a ship and not on a planet so, responses will come sooner. Another small thing that seemed off was the behavior of the threat. In one instance they disemboweled a fellow crew member of Taylors' opposed to making him one of them. That behavior from the green hostiles was pretty inaccurate with what's been exposed of them before. Overall, I enjoyed the game and looking forward to future installments.

Absolutely phenomenal. I cannot express enough how attached I have grown to Taylor. Guiding Taylor through the White Star and waiting for her to respond back have been some of the most nerve wracking moments I have ever had in a game. I would constantly check my phone, eagerly waiting to hear again from Taylor and hoping that my last choice was the right one. I will admit she died a couple times in my care, but never had I felt so bad about losing a character. I absolutely cannot wait to continue Taylor's adventures and I hope to talk to her some more. I never so readily gave away my email to anyone before, but I'd do anything to keep in contact with Taylor lol

A very poor sequel. Whereas the first game felt very open ended, had an awesome and mysterious plot, and made you enjoy every step of the way, this game instead railroads you, forcing you to find the ONE way you can beat the game. It ruins the climax and any enjoyment you could get. There was a poor job writing the script, as you can tell there are way too many times where it says something which doesn’t quite line up with your other. You can tell that they didn’t really test play the game because if they did they certainly would’ve fixed some of these things. the Taylor also becomes a very annoying character as they take one of his many personality traits from the first game and turn his character into a very one sided guy who only makes pop culture references literally every other time he speaks, and it just gets really really annoying.

I'm in love withTaylor!. When I first came across the Lifeline games I really wasn't too excited about playing them. But, I was completely sucked into the story and Taylor is darn likable! I really felt like I was seeing everything he described and like I was the only one who could help him. Lol! I killed him the first play through, but saved him and the captain on my second try. I do also love Lifeline Silent Night!! It was really fun and exciting and enjoyable. However, I do not like Lifeline 2.. Not at all. I think it has to do with the character Arika. I didn't like her personality and couldn't relate to her at all. I honestly stopped playing halfway through because I didn't care what happened to her. Lol! But I hope you give us more like Lifeline and Silent Night!! I will buy them all!

Love it, but one major gripe. I love this lifeline as much as the other two. I hope they continue to create these games. It is exciting and satisfying to get Taylor to the end, but I have one major gripe: The two options given to help guide Taylor are often the same, really rude or annoying, or the situation is not really furthered by the interaction. I'll give an example that fits all three of those (I'll keep this pretty spoiler free): In one interaction Taylor is running. Taylor has already expressed that he(or she) is tired of you telling him to do things he is already doing (though there have been no alternatives to this in the previous couple of encounters; just two versions of one option.) Even though he has already complained about it, in the next encounter he explains that he is heading to the cockpit. The two options given to guide him are: "head to the cockpit" and " go cockpit-wise." When you choose one or the other Taylor gets annoyed and cuts you off. This type of interaction occurs several times in the game. It is pointless, and annoying to me, and Taylor, obviously. Have the creators run out of ideas? Not sure, but it would be great if the next game did not have these pointless interactions.

Astonishing. Please make a third one with Taylor. Taylor seems so real and human, and the pop culture references were fun. They shouldn't be too out of age range, the dark crystal one I actually got, because I read the book and watched the movie. I feel like Taylor is real, because they seem so realistic. They're really awesome. I refer to Taylor as male, because that's how I imagine them. It actually hurt my feelings when I ran into a path that Taylor dies in, because I am emotionally and mentally attached to them. I want Taylor to make it home to earth. I don't want Taylor lost in space and left that way please.

Frustrating. This game is much more frustrating than the first Taylor installment. I killed Taylor in just a few hours and have since gone back to many points in time. What's frustrating are the choices don't actually matter. In one case (no spoiler) he asks if he should sleep or stay awake. I said stay awake and he's like nah, I'm gonna sleep. What's the point in giving me a choice?? In other instances, I saw that no matter which "choice" I made, the exact same dialogue and path was taken. Come on, folks. These have so much potential. Take the time and create a deeper and more open world or just tell us what happens without making us feel like we have choices. I'm hoping for much better in next round or that'll be my last game from you guys.

Basically Alien w/ Taylor. Yeah. That's right. Alien. The greatest science-fiction horror of all time (okay, second behind "Aliens"), except it is an interactive experience! Actually, you could make the argument that the first game in the franchise was "Aliens" and this game was a step backwards to "Alien". How so? Well, this game takes you from the vastness of an entire alien world and drops you into a tiny little space ship with a horde of occupiers (like the college students, but aliens and not quite as annoying) who are after you! It's fun. Can't wait for the next installment! And yes, I know there is a magical installment that was released between this and the first, but it is a completely different story that doesn't fit in the "Alien" franchise feel I was going for in this review.

Worth every penny. I loved this game. I recommend playing the first one or this one won't make sense. My only issues with this version VS the first one is Taylor seems a little casual and not very stressed by the life threatening situation he's found himself in. I wish he'd be a little less "silly" and would be a little more fearing and believable. Also it feels like your action buttons will result in the same outcome at times. For example: "go to the cockpit" and "go cockpit-wise". There's a lot of options that are ultimately the same command but worded nice vs. rude. But with that said, I still feel like it's a 5 star game. Was happy to pay 99 cents for this! Despite being a text based game it pulls you in more than most graphical games!

Didn't get as into it as the other two. I was very glad to see another Lifeline pop up in the app store, but this one didn't quite live up to the other two for me. While I did enjoy playing through it, when I reached the end I was a bit disappointed at the short length of the game and how I wasn't as invested in Taylor's character as I had been with Arika's in Lifeline 2 or even Taylor in the original. The attempts at pop culture references are getting pretty annoying by now - as a university student, I'm about the same age as Taylor, yet I don't get most of the references and they seem kinda forced now. They seem more geared towards a slightly older crowd, and amusingly, there's even a line in-game saying that the pop culture refences made sound like they're coming from someone twice Taylor's age, so clearly the writer himself understands his limits as someone not from the younger generation. Anyway, this was just part of why I didn't really feel attached to Taylor; another big part was how short it was. I finished the game in a little over a day with the good ending, and I honestly didn't feel a need to go back and explore the other options because it was too rushed to make me feel invested in the game. I hope that Lifeline 4 does a better job with length/character (hopefully, they bring Arika back because I really cared about her character).

A wonderful text adventure. A wonderful text adventure that will keep you hooked and craving for more! You'll get attached to Taylor and his new crew as you help them navigate through danger. The same two choice method returns with graphical improvements and more in-depth responses from your character. A map of the star freighter that Taylor's adventure takes place in is added to further and improve the story experience that players have. Lifeline: silent night is an overall solid game that keeps on giving at a higher level. A worth while purchase at 99 cents for any text adventure enthusiast and gamers of all kinds.

Highly enjoyable. The game is not perfect, but it is enjoyable nonetheless. Some reviewers think that Taylor is too smart, but he did win a contest to get to go on the ill-fated original trip, and teenagers can be quite brilliant. He was also the only one who had dealt with the occupiers, so no one else understood the threat like he did. I got very involved in the game. I appreciated being able to return to individual decisions to change them, versus having to restart at the beginning of a day. I also enjoyed having the schematic. Not sure how useful it was, but as a visual person, it appealed to me. Looking forward to the next Lifeline!

Good but nos Great. When I played the first Lifeline I thought it was an amazing game, hooked up really quick, when it ended I bought this one. I don't usually buy games as I get bored too easily, but took the chance and bought the second part of this story. Felt it wasn't at the same level as the first one, you could tell it was made by a different person, because this Taylor talks way too much, and all those weird words, at some point I felt lost with all the text he sent. Too much talk and little less action. I don't know if I used the map as I should be, but felt it was pointless. The options "to keep the flow of the story" weren't delivered as they should have been, sometimes, for example: I selected "yes" and the game showed a totally unrelated "answer". It was short and it wasn't exciting as the first one, so I will stick with that one, as I am afraid I will find the same problem on the next one. Thank you anyway for giving a different kind of game :)

Fantastic follow-up to original!!!!. I was SO very excited to see a sequel to Taylor's story!! I jumped on this as soon as it was released! This game/story is awesome. If you've experienced the first one, you know what to expect. Our hero/heroine is trapped on a spacecraft with very scary and mysterious goings on, with nowhere to run, and very little in terms of places to hide. One by one, the crew are being taken out by "something" or "someone". As the story plays out, our decisions affect the outcome, often in surprising and dramatic ways. Taylor has already become a "friend" if you played the first game. And, getting through this adventure with her is terrifying, stressful, and hair raising, nail biting, edge of your seat fantastic fun. I highly recommend this game, if you like cerebral action-adventure RPGs that take place mostly in your imagination, where your decisions heavily influence what happens to the character.

Just as good as the original!. More complicated decisions... but still the same interactions with Taylor! I just kind of thought the beginning part was a little unnecessary, but it made sense later on. I actually did mess up once (which is what makes it slightly more difficult), but second time was the charm! The only thing that really disappointed me was how fast it went by... maybe I'm a little too invested in this series? But I did start writing a fan fiction, and I've never written a fan fiction xD Just to kind of warn you, the ending will grab you by those things called your emotions. But great story and plot... maybe this series needs to be a movie lol

I liked it, but want more. I think the thing I really liked about the first one is that it was drawn out over a couple days because of the realistic waiting for Taylor while he slept and whatnot. I was disappointed that this story was much faster paced and was over in a day. But that's the only downfall. The game was wonderful and I am seriously waiting for more games from this team. The realistic banter/conversation was great, and I liked that they added in more conversation from other crew members. The story was good, but I didn't explore many options. I stuck to what I figured would keep Taylor alive. Worth every minute, star, and the .99 cents.

Great game, not quite as good as the first. I enjoyed Silent Night almost as much as Lifeline with just two small complaints. One is that I made an entire play through without Taylor dying until what seemed to be near the very end of the story, like Taylor was about to finish the plan. Part of what I lied about the original was how many choices resulted in a premature end to the story. It gave a feeling of tension that Silent Night lacked. I'm hoping now that I'm doing at least one more play through that tension will become evident, but so far it has not. Which leads me to complaint number two: some choices end up with the exact same response from Taylor even if that response doesn't really make sense. For example, both "What's wrong?" and " Is everything okay?" resulted in a response that really only worked for "is everything okay". Worse, you will make a choice and then it doesn't even happen. You tell Taylor to go one place but in the next block of text the destination is entirely different. Also, there is a maddening this that I hope is a bug. Every time I put my iPad to sleep or exit the app, when I come back the text has rolled back three or four choices and I have to scroll down to the current text EVERY SINGLE TIME. It makes me absolutely crazy. Please do an update that fixes this. Kind of fun, but mostly disappointing.

Absolutely First Rate. I'd give it 10 stars if possible. The first review with its "gripe" apparently hasn't figured out you can go back to any point and begin from there forward. Why wouldn't someone who has been so helpful cut Taylor off for awhile if he gets too annoying. It's very real. Much fun. Really enjoy the interaction between Taylor and You, the unknown connection, as well as the closer relationship between them. Taylor grows so much during these episodes it's amazing to be part of it. For the price, $0.99 if I remember, it's the best almost dollar I've spent in a long time. You may have to work your way through it several times to finally pick the correct combination of advice and counsel to Taylor but if you hang in there, odds are good you'll find an acceptable end to this Lifeline. In all its several meanings. In case I've not been clear, I Like This App. Hope to see a third one soon. Enjoy!

Different and compelling. It's kinda like like reading about a two way conversation about fitting puzzle pieces together via text, definitely compelling if you enjoy the space outside the box, in a sci-fi kinda way. Different in that the story line is the focus of progressing through the puzzle of choices made during critical moments. Sound effects are not offensive or monotonous. The story draws your interest at the start but you have to wait as if living the conversations realtime. Like life sometimes the wait is irritating or frustrating but not so much that you don't enjoy the continuing story. The off the cuff humor makes it different with its references to odd bits of trivia which helps to balance the tension of waiting for the other unfortunate 'shoe' to drop outta the sky. Good job coders and writers. Interesting and thought provoking.

CRAZY, STUBBORN , SARCASTIC, heartfelt and beyond amazing. In the first one at the beginning I honestly HATED Taylor but now it love him! I created such a bond with him that ( spoiler alert ) when he died at the end I actually cried! 😭😭😭 I miss Taylor! I really wish that I could hug him or talk to him face to face. Astonishing job on connecting the reader to the character! Outstanding on action and storyline. Absolutely amazing! One of the best games I've EVER played! Definitely recommend by me. One downside though FRICKING TAYLOR DIED! I really hope he comes back some how in the 3rd one. We shall see in a few minutes! About to download. Again truly amazing content! Props

Love this interactive game!!!!. This game was so much fun. I played lifeline than the second part of lifeline then I spent the $0.99 for silent night. I really liked Silent night, if you pay attention to Taylor and really think about the situations he goes through you can get to the best possible out come. I haven't played an interactive game like this before and I have to say it has my internet over any other app I've ever played. I love reading though so this was lie the best of both world because I got to be apart of the main characters journey. And If I didn't help him in the right way, not only would his journey be over but so would mine. I honestly found myself getting nervous for Taylor and happy when we did something right. The creators really did well with making his personality, witty, humorous and sarcastic. I found myself getting attached to the character, which I believe is the goal of the game, it keeps you playing and wanting more. I'd recommend this game to anyone and everyone. I think the people that give the game low ratings aren't really thinking or reading what Taylor is asking, if you pay attention and go back and re-read the conversations it can help you get further into the game. Download for sure!

Can't Wait For The Next One. Okay, so I was excited enough to be able to talk to Taylor again and guide him through some more intergalactic peril, and while the ending left me a bit confused, I can say with 100% certainty that I can't wait for the next game. I am officially too attached to Taylor. Honestly I'm too attached to Arika from Lifeline 2 also. And, dang it, I want my email full of space lawyer jokes. Pleeeeaaaase give me the space lawyer jokes. Taylor is just an amazing character and his personality is very well done, and I want more of him. I really like this series. Get this game, get it now, even if you hadn't played the first game (which I also HIGHLY recommend) this one gives the opportunity to explain every reference made to it if you hadn't played the first one, by any chance, or if you just forgot. I'm probably just rambling at this point but I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Devs, please make more.

Worth the money. I'm deeply in love with all of the Lifeline games. I had played this game, along with the other two, a while back, but I felt like writing a review (haven't gotten to Whiteout, but will soon) I had cared for Taylor's well-being from the beginning of the first game, I believe he's a really great character, and I also love all the pop culture references(which a lot of the reviews are saying they didn't like it????) his witty persona is what made me happy and enjoy the game all the more immensely; sometimes, I actually forgot he wasn't a real person. I loved Akira also, she also had the personality type I find enduring and made me invested in her outcome, but I feel like I liked Taylor just a bit more. The games are defiantly worth the buy, they may be a little short, in a sense, but the stories produced are riveting. I also found that it is just as interesting if you replay them, trying out different answers, to see what happens to the story and the characters. All in all, I think the Lifeline series is wonderful, and they, and their characters, make me very happy and worth a try for anyone who is interested in interactive games that involve a lot of reading and visualizing.

Never played anything like it. Played "Lifeline: Whiteout" because it was free for the week... but amazingly, it was just enough to get me hooked. The Lifeline series is pretty simplistic yet genius. Each game has its own interesting plot that not only keeps me engaged for hours, but days! The game is heavily dependent on your decision making skills & logical thinking. Help your radio com buddy push forward and make the right decisions! Not every path you take is the correct one, I've sadly killed the protagonist multiple times due to careless decisions and hypnotic aliens; The replay value for this game is great. Trust me when I say it's worth the dollar.

Truly Amazing. This game is more of an expansion of the first game of this series than a full game sequel, but it's worth every cent. That being said, it can be enjoyed on its own, but you should REALLY play the first game ("Lifeline") before playing this one, so you understand. Some people complain that it isn't "as long", or doesn't "have as much to it as the first one", but it isn't supposed to! It's an expansion! And a helluva good one at that! Seriously, give this one a try, and help Space Cadet Taylor defeat the evil and menacing Greens once again! Read below for a general review for the series vvv ------------------------- If you enjoy the "Choose Your Adventure" sort of games, and you enjoy humor filled dialogue of sassy characters, you'll LOVE the Lifeline series. Each game feeds into one another, and as different as Taylor's story ("Lifeline" and "Silent Night") and Arika's story ("Lifeline 2") is, it really is amazing how Justus brings it altogether. So whether you're fighting 'Greens' in the sci-fi filled future or the secretly magical and mysterious present, you're sure to have a great time with this series! Worth every cent, I promise you.

I wanted to love it....... Because I was so obsessed with the first game. But it was just not as fun. I leave this review with HUGE respect to the writer who I super admire, in hopes that for the next app they will take these suggestions to make it better. Here's why: 1) Taylor is super annoying and not consistent with his previous character. I know people grow through experience but this is supposed to be a high school inexperienced child. Firstly I feel like he has become a super genius. Yes I know he was smart before but now he is like a mastermind. Also he has become extremely sarcastic and like... Not taking a dangerous situation seriously. It's annoying to say the least. 2) I feel like nothing I said really was a choice or really even mattered at all. The story wasn't driven by me. Most of my "options" were basically "tell me more" or "ok do the thing you just said you were doing". Makes for a boring participation. 3) waaaayyyy too fast. The other game had excruciating wait times but that's what I LOVED about it!!!!! That's what made it so amazing. I know the wait had to be different because he's not exploring a planet so stuff doesn't take as long but maybe they needed just a slower story. 4) no suspense. You almost immediately know what the danger is and what the solution is. Very different from the first one and it makes it no fun. Anyways. I do like that the character was a person we already know. That's about it.

Outstanding Game!. Okay, so this game is just amazing. I discovered the first Lifeline and was very intrigued; I've never played anything quite like it before. I was instantly hooked! I'm almost embarrassed to admit how attached I am to this fictional character, my buddy Taylor. I love how this game lets your imagination run wild! I also love the aspect of having to wait for Taylor to do certain tasks. It makes it feel very real, like you're actually communicating with a real person. I really love Taylor's personality as well. The sequel did not disappoint! Very well written, and I highly recommend! Please, please, PLEASE give us more Taylor!!

Great game, but syncing issues. I started the story on my iPhone and continued on my Apple Watch. However, when I went back to my iPhone, my Apple Watch progress had not synced and I was taken back to the part of the story where I last played on my iPhone, rendering all the progress I had made on my apple Watch useless. This is a recurring issue as progress on my phone syncs to the Watch, but any progress on my watch fails to sync to my phone, so when I open the phone app it will go back to what it was last time I opened the phone app and overrides all the progress I made on my watch. Is there a solution to this problem? If so, then there aren't really any other issues to this amazing game!

These games are amazing.. As a filmmaker and gamer, I think these games do an incredible job of immersing you into their story, as well as creating interesting characters. The game is simple, and that's what's so great about it. Though its simple, it still gets your heart racing when major events start taking place. You are Taylor's rock, and while they come into their own and start making bold decisions, you still need to help them in their struggle. My only criticism is that I wish the game had more "research this" type of choices. The map in Silent Night is very neat, but I wish there were more choices and maybe some puzzles to really make your choices matter.

BEST OML TAYLOR IS MY SON. LOVED THE LAST GAME AND THIS GAME, TOO SO EMOTIONAL AND SUSPENSE AND WOW AND STRESS OML love Taylor's sarcastic, joking personality! Not sure if this is helpful for ppl to read, but I just wanna say that these games r bae. I also see lots of ppl complaining that the choices don't really "do anything or change the story much" or "Taylor won't listen to me" OML guys he's a human being he has his own opinions! He's not a mindless puppet like in other games where you play God. No, this game is so much more realistic in that aspect. You and him are both people. He's going through an experience, and your here contributing your knowledge and giving your advice. That doesn't mean he'll just do what ever you say without thinking of the consequences for him or being in the state of mind that he is in his predicament. Anyway, peace out, love this!

It's 👌. The story is pretty good but didn't like it as much as the first lifline, I you could go back to a certain awnser like the first one. There are also a lot of synchronization issues with the phone and watch, I'll be on a whole different part in the story on the watch and the iPhone won't recognize it. So if I choose a old response from the iPhone it would backtrack me all the way to that part on the watch too! Also when you launch the app on your watch it will kinda take a second to refresh unlike the old lifeline that automatically refreshed witch can see jarring and buggy. But overall I liked the story and want to see a 3rd with these problems fixed and a better story thsn the first but I don't know if they could make the better story part possible lol.

No mystery like the first game.. So the first game first of all was really amazing and the story really drew me into the aspect of Taylor's survival. Not knowing if he can survive the day, why did he crash, what set off the alarms, and what is at the peak. This game their is no mystery because you already know what's coming at you and when he does find out what's going on, he's not even that surprised to hear about glowing green eyes. The game feels like the movie "Alien where you isolated in the ship with the the glowing green eye people." But now that we know who they are it's not as scary as the fear of the unknown in the first game where everything was leading up to their discover. What made the first game so captivating is knowing so little of his planet and what dangers he could encounter. This game just feels like "go here and their" and avoid the aliens! I'm looking forward to another suspenseful storytelling from these developers.

Daunting, Breathtaking, and Outstanding game.. We're in space again! Taylor is back! And guess what? He's in trouble... again. With the suspense and anxiety coming back. The million dollar question is: "Will Taylor still survive at the end of the story, or not." Every decision you will make will affect Taylor's future and his survival. New story and new people to interact with. Honestly, I prefer this game over Lifeline 2: Bloodline. Maybe because I wasn't into magic that much. And I like how we interact again with Taylor. I really enjoyed playing this game, and it attained my expectation. So far, I haven't died in this game, which is exceptional. And by the way, there is a 3 minute game bundle that is available as of today, where "Lifeline, Lifeline 2: Bloodline, and Lifeline: Silent Night" only cost $1.99 only! Which is insane! I mean, what a bargain, right? If you are going to purchase this game, and you haven't played Lifeline, I suggest you play that game first, because it will give you a background of Taylor, and what catastrophe he had gone through before stepping in on the next horrifying occurrence of Lifeline: Silent Night.

Lifeline - Silent Night. Okay, so I am totally hooked. It is so refreshing to go back to the types of games that I started out with before all the user friendly pc's! I became so attached to the character ...wondering when he was going to text me and what he was doing, was he safe, etc.! I played the first one because I got it as a free download of the week and was instantly addicted to the game. Love that the story path changed every time you interacted! Love that you could do the fast play and roll back once you complete the game. It takes a few days to complete the game. I was at such a loss when it was over that I had to purchase the other two that I could find(Lifeline2 and Silent Night). This one I ended up replaying several times too with a different outcome each time. Totally hooked!

Absolutely Amazing. This series has been one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Every once in a while, I would jokingly check if there was another lifeline as I loved the first and there was lifeline 2. After a while, I found silent night on the front page of the App Store. The story is very gripping and leaves you wanting more as soon as it ends. The only things I would change *Spoilers* is the whole bomb experience. Without the ice pack, Taylor is doomed as the marines will always kill him/her at the marine cockpit. Even using the fire hydrant didn't make any change and only somewhat delayed. Also, the map was sometimes inaccurate as Taylor would start walking to the cargo bay from somewhere like the ready room and the map would say he/she was at the cargo bay. One last thing, in the previous lifeline wasn't there an ending which resulted in the death of Captain Aya and the nuking of the moon? If there wasn't, disregard this last bit. Overall, the entire series is one of the best series I've ever played.

Big Disappointment!. This is one of the very RARE times i write a review about an app. While the original Lifeline app captured my attention, i was disappointed by this one. Very disappointed. The choices you make don't really shape the story, they're basically stuff like whether you understand Taylor's jokes or u don't... Whether you wanna make a joke yourself or simply tell Taylor to move on with his story... Stuff like that. And when you have an important decision to make, the choices are like "protect yourself" and "eat a banana instead" (figuratively speaking of course). Taylor made the whole plan himself (at least in my scenario) and he shared it with me. I wasn't involved in making the decisions, and I couldnt even make him change his mind. At one point, he responded to my "you don't have to do this" with a "i'm not gonna back up now". The length of the story is also very short. I finished it in approximatively 24 hours, and it's all happening in one place. So yeah basically i was disappointed. The app concept is really nice, but the story should be longer with much more important decisions to make.

The ending killed it!!!. I was all like yay Taylor again! But as the story progressed, Taylor's persona was idk say somewhat annoying. I liked the variety of characteristics offered by other minor characters. Mari, I felt bad for her. I tried all the options to make both of us or just her survive but I failed, the writers/directors/producers didn't save her at all. I was devastated knowing it was me or her kinda of a situation. The plot was very interesting tho again like most people were saying, the fact that the flow of the story was fast and predictable, ruined it. I hate how Taylor died and how Bos died, etc. I was determined for Taylor to live, survive again. Im devastated by such a ending. The story writers would expect to get their audience to feel compelled or anxious for another app but really they caused sorrow and sadness and dullness in their story. I honestly didn't like the second app with the bundle. But oyyyyy what a ending .-.

Good, but not as good as it could be. (Slight spoilers). As someone who has played all of the Lifeline games thus far, it excited me to be able to play another installment in the series. However, I have a couple of major gripes with this game: 1) The story wasn't as compelling this time around. The reintroduction of Taylor made me giddy, however the story was still missing that "spark". I love the character's sense of humor, but at certain points in the story it felt out of place to be joking around. Not only that, but the game had this weird conflicting feeling of being too rushed while at the same time being too slow. There were too many "waiting" periods squished in and it didn't let the player grow any sort of attachment to the main character. A weird criticism I know, but one that I hope is recognized. 2) That e-mail registration prompt at the end. It felt so impersonal and while I appreciate the idea of being notified when a new game is released, it felt way too tacked on and sort of killed any emotion the game was trying to convey by the end of the story. Seriously, that could have been handled way better than it was. Please never make your characters do something that reminds you that it's "just an app", as it really kills the mood and the immersion. Overall, great game; but it felt a little lackluster. Hoping to see Lifeline 3 in the near future.

An amazing sequel for an amazing game.. Honestly, when I bought the first game, I thought it was gonna be a waste of time and money. But the simplicity of it's design, the depth of it's story telling, and it being surprisingly immersive made me replay it again and again until I achieved the optimal ending to Taylor's adventure. The tiny detail of having to wait for Taylor's response and the life or death choices makes you believe that there is a desperate Taylor somewhere out there that you are keeping alive, or slowly killing. By far, one of the best games I've ever played. And that's me saying something about a text-based story game.

Awesome, but could be better.. I recently finished the first Lifeline game, and it was absolutely incredible. In fact, the whole series seems interesting and has a very unique charm to it. I absolutely loved the first one. Silent Night was also good, but it could have been much better. I found it to be much harder to connect with the characters in this installation of Lifeline, and it was also INCREDIBLY short (being slightly over 24 hours for me). I would've really enjoyed it better if the game allowed for some downtime to better understand the characters, as things were happening very quickly. My emotional attachment with Taylor was also significantly weaker in this game than it was the first one. I enjoyed Taylor's pop-culture references and jokes, but after a while, they begin to get too frequent and annoying. To wrap it all up, Taylor was much better in the first Lifeline game. There was a perfect amount of humor and personality added to Taylor to make him seem like an actual human being. He reacted to scenarios in very realistic ways. But in this one, he seemed to make too many references and his character began to slightly differ from the first game.

Excellent Game. Having been brought up on texted based games, I thought I would give this a try. I was very pleased! The writer obviously understands the dynamics of a decision tree matrix and it complications/rewards. What I truly enjoy is the ability to go back and examine decisions you make in helping Taylor work his way through this situation. I found this fun, annoying, and stimulating all at the same time! A hint? Make sure you have a decent protective cover for your phone or tablet as throwing it against a hardened surface comes to mind each time he doesn't make it lol! I RARELY give five stars however this is not only worth it but this shows much promise! Thank you!!

Is an AMAZING sequel to an AMAZING game. I know my title may be giving a bit too much praise, but this game is a REALLY good game, good structure, highly intriguing, and a great ending if you get the right one. I've put some thought into what to put into this review, and after reading a few, I do agree that 1) some of the dialogue is a little repetitive or one sided and 2) it is shorter in-time wise, as in its story is just as intriguing and *edge of my seat; what happens next* as its predecessor, maybe even more, but the effect doesn't last as long. This all being said, I truly do recommend the game, and am greatly awaiting the later ones in this series

100 out of 10. This game is the most riveting, most wonderful, and the most heart filling (and breaking) game. Let's start with Taylor. In my eyes I always imagined him as a boy, and what a a character he was. His personality stayed constant through and through, and you felt connected to him. The ending hurt my heart. I reached the, "best of all possible endings" my first try. Me and my friend played it at the same time with two different story choices. Her Taylor became an occupant, and my Taylor destroyed them. I am not lying when I tell you I cried at the end of the game. I had gotten him so far, and we had been through so much, (it felt) that I physically cried and hurt when he died. He was such an amazing character, who had flaws just like the rest of us. I applaud the creators for creating such an amazing character. I want more. They say his adventure is just beginning. Bring him back. Let us finish what we started. (P.s. ITS SO WORTH 99c OK GET IT)

FAVORITE GAME EVER. Taylor is such an amazing character! I got so attached to this character I actually cried when the game ended... If the creators of this game actually read these reviews... PLEASE BRING TAYLOR BACK AGAIN. I love this game so much. I actually forgot he wasn't real at a point because he's just so human! I love how this is like a chat kind of set up. Sometimes games get too carried away with the graphics and the story lacks quality and depth. But not this game! It's insane how much I want taylor to be brought back in another app. This app and all the lifelines are amazing and are worth it! But to make this even better please bring back Taylor in another lifeline and make it a bit longer. The first app took me a week or two to complete but this app I finished in a time span of 24 hours (Not continuously). But overall great work! Please continue to make these apps so I can continue annoying my friends about how they have to play them. Awesome job!!!

Wonderful Sequel. I enjoyed this continuation on Taylor's story so, so much! There was more attachment to him, despite my long leaves from playing the game. I also wish I was just a tad bit better at choosing the correct answer, but I'll blame it on the long leaves (it's totally not that). Honestly, Taylor is my favourite protagonist overall, and is the reason why I recommended the first Lifeline to my friends. And now that I've finished this one (after failing over and over enough times that if Taylor were a real person, he'd be very doubtful of my abilities to pay attention), I plan on recommending this one as well. Cheers!

Just as enjoyable as the first part. I have to preface all my reviews of these games with: stuff like this normally isn't my thing. I don't enjoy the digital choose your own adventure type games at all, and on the surface that is what these seem to be.. But they're not. You are actually communicating with the hero of the story. Granted you can't choose what to say, but the options they give you work very well. You get invested in the story and the character's well being. In this particular episode, you're following up on the life of someone from another episode. It was honestly nice to hear from him again and see what he was up to. His personality was still the same, and I liked this virtual person enough that I was concerned for his safety. The plot was interesting and not too transparent, and the varied wait times between messages seemed appropriate and made things funner. If you're on the fence about these games and have the change to spare, I would say go for it. I was very hesitant at first and ended up going for a package deal with several of these games and I'm really glad I did. I think they are now my favorite game app on my phone.

Feels a little rushed. I loved the original lifeline and I just started the second one since I didn't even know there was a second one. This one started out promising being reunited with Taylor made me feel giddy, and I was happy she was okay (for now), but then things quickly took a horrible turn for the worst. Then it ended just like that. I was finished in about a day where in the other game it took me about 2 and a half days and I didn't even get a good ending after those two and a half days. I love how you can hear Taylor interacting with others ( I realize you can do that in the second one also) . Also seeing where Taylor is is very cool. However the original had a certain charm of the unknown to it that I hope the next one captures as well. This one you kind of already know everything and you just try your best not to steer Taylor into danger. I'm hoping that this game might just be a tie into the next game because It just doesn't capture the charm of exploration that the first one has. It feels like they just tried to push this one out which is why it feels so short as well. Tl,dr version: Much shorter compared to the first game and doesn't have the same feel as the first, hoping the next installment is better.

Addictive game!. This is the third Lifeline game I've played so far and they are all addictive! It's great to have a sequel game to Tyler's first adventure! I really feel like I know the main character in the game. The way it's written makes Tyler seem like a real human that you're texting with! I've never played a game quite like this before. Using only text and music the creators make a whole other world come alive that you experience at the same time as the character you're helping. I couldn't put it down! Try one, would be my suggestion. They're not expensive, no in app purchases, just unique and wonderful storytelling! More Lifeline please! :)

Phenomenal. I loved it. The attachment to Taylor the first game made you feel was absolutely incredible. When I finished it, I actually kinda missed Taylor. (I may or may not have cried when she "signed off"). There's some new features to this game, some of which I really like. One is that it says something other than [TAYLOR IS BUSY]. It says things like [TAYLOR IS SLEEPING], or [TAYLOR IS PREPPING]. That's one I found really cool. I didn't really like the new feature that allows you to hear other characters speaking; I'd rather have heard it through Taylor's witty summaries, like in the first one. Other than that, the game was truly amazing and I would highly recommend it. It's worth the money.

Amazing game!! One error. An absolutely amazing game, I literally dropped everything when I saw Taylor was ready to check in. The final ending was perfect and there were very nearly tears. SPOILERS BELOW One small error, when Taylor met up with Shepard in the drill room. Taylor mentioned that the doc had been trying to force the creatures on the crew, but that never happened in my game (we left the med bay before he got back). Big shock, and very bad for immersion

Great fun. Having played through lifeline and lifeline: silent night. I found myself fully immersed and that I really cared about Taylor. The way the story is told in real time is a great idea and is well executed I think. I would thoroughly recommend this app to anyone especially if they had a scifi interest

Worth every cent!. This app is amazing! Kept me going until the very end! Like a great book you can't put down but can interact with!

Great Game but.... It was very fun and interesting, although it starts to get a little bit boring halfway, I would prefer the first because it's more intense and gripping. Still very fun though and is worth the money💸💸💸

Addictive. I managed to get through Lifeline (v1) without once killing Taylor. This one was harder to find the safe path but after a few weeks I got there. I'll miss Taylor..plucky little thing....

Amazing. This game is just amazing. The story the atmosphere it's better than the original in every way, except one. It doesn't have the awesome mystic from the original. Other than that, it's just amazing

I love them all. I've played all the lifeline games and they are literal perfection. As a bit of a writer myself, I find it hard to make my characters seem unique and, you know, have character. But in all of these games, everyone is so unique! Like Taylor, with his humour, Arika with her serious tone, but such an easy character to fall in love with. And Addams with his cautious sense of fear. And I always finish these games in about 2 weeks because I just can't put it down. It's always so addictive and you want to know what happens next. And also I love it when you finish the game, it says: you haven't seen the last of_____. This makes me so excited because it's so easy to form a bond with these people. You just want to jump right back into another adventure. Every single one of these games are worth the price and I'd definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. Keep up the good work and keep the lifeline games coming 👍

Can’t put it in fast mode. Love the game but I was able to put others in fast mode to read it like a book. This one you can’t and it draaaaaggggggs through the story line

SO GOOD. Loved the first, Enjoyed the second, and now and squel to the first!!! I really enjoyed the game, the storyline was great and Im a really big fan of the lifeline series! Hope to have more adventures with taylor and mabye in the next lifeline, someone new! Keep up the good work 3 minuet games, you really make me smile! ;D

Notification spam spam spam spam spam spam. Not sure how this got so many 5-star reviews. With notifications on you get spammed with 20+ messages when Taylor comes online. Yes you can disable notifications, but honestly, a single notification is suffice. Character seems out of place. Taylor sounds like a young teenager at times, which for a sole survivor of a space mission sounds... Out of place. Anyway it's not all bad. But really, not as good as it could be.

Would recommend. The price is worth it. It's an amazing game and I've never felt more attached to a character than now.

Ground breaking. This is one of the best story games of all time, But this is one of the only games where it made me feel something for the character. 10/10 ign approved

Great game wanna see more.. Loved it, seeing Taylor back again was great, made some tears coming to the end.. Who ever buys this game, great choice. I would love to see Taylor again...

My heart...oh how I love this game!. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I can't even explain how emotionally attached this game has me to Taylor. From the first app to this one, it's been an insane journey and I feel like I'm separated from a friend every time I have to wait for more contact with T. Please never stop making these games, please send Taylor back to us on more adventures!

Simply beautiful. I'm absolutely in love with this game. The connection that I feel with Taylor is unreal. I was genuinely concerned for him/her(?) welfare to the point where it was really heart breaking at times. I really do hope that there will be more games that involve Taylor.

Great app!. I've played Lifeline, Lifeline 2 and Silent Night and they've all been great. I found I really cared about the subjects in the games and what happened to them. The only thing I didn't like was having to wait for the game to start again after a pause. I found myself killing off Taylor and Arika as quickly as possible (and feeling guilty about it), that way I could rewind the game and play on fast mode and so didn't have to wait. Looking forward to more in the series.

Literally the best game I've played. The transmission format is an incredibly immersive one, and the writing is phenomenal. I've found myself incredibly attached to Taylor. I just finished the game, achieving the best ending, and I'm crying. This game is phenomenal and I definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone.

A Choose Their Adventure Gem. A fantastic and fulfilling sequel to the first game, with higher stakes, greater detail and somehow even more character than before. Strictly for fans of the first game, but they're in for a treat.

Great game. Only one problem: (and it's not serious) the ship schematic doesn't look very ship like, but other than that amazing game

Great story with just few minor flaws. Loved the first part, so jumped to the Silent Night straight away. It feels kinda weird that there is so much story on how much effort did rescuers put into saving Taylor, when he had barely any interaction with them on the moon in original series. Immersion breaking flaw with info about the Doc when talking to Captain Sheppard. And overall Taylor sounds more and more whiny than before. Almost as whiny like Arika. Also he developed an immersive chatterbox ability to spam you with pop gibberish. He is a spacer. Scientist grade. Put some more tech / science talk into his mouth. Again Arika's influence can be seen.

Great app, but continuity errors.... I'm thrilled to have a [more difficult] sequel to Taylor's story after having completed the first Lifeline app. However, in the storyline that I followed, Taylor got off the moon with very limited interaction between the rescue crew and the alien forms in Lifeline, yet in Silent Night, Taylor talks about them having gone through hell to get him to safety. This massive continuity error, plus others that other reviewers have mentioned are the only thing holding back a 5-star rating. Thanks for the excellent story, writers!

Wow amazing. I have never written a review before but wow I just had to cause this game was amazing I never knew I could get so attached to a character even in a story game I really want Taylor's story to continue but we will see

EXCEPTIONAL. SO good! Different from a lot of apps I've seen. The storyline is intriguing although unrealistic at times, SUPER intense and lots of fun. Taylor's a great character and it's hard not to grow attached to him (the ending made me cry a little). I definitely would recommend buying this app and would love to see more of Taylor's adventure.

Mixed emotions. The game was absolutely amazing!!!! The storyline was just so realistic while at the same time being unrealistic. You kind of get attached to Taylor and the end made me cry a little bit but they tell you that there will be more later on and they give you an option to subscribe to their notifications. Overall great app!

Choose your own adventures are coming back!!. Great app! Really keeps you guessing, and wanting to know more! Even when rewinding back to choose a different path, you learn more about the crew and situation. The only suggestion I could offer is maybe add Taylor's position while in hallways and the other ship. Hope to see more apps like this series, it's a nice change from all the visually exhausting and mind numbing apps currently out there.

Rarly do I ever write a review but. This game deserves it.. When it started off as Taylor remembering you from the last game.. Agh that brought a tear to my eye.. You really get attached to Taylor which is very rare to find with books now days. I'd recommend this game to absolutely anyone and for anyone reading this - BUY IT - I promise you it will be worth it.. I just hope you guys keep releasing more :)

A adventurous, Thrilling game!. An absolutely great way to top off the first Lifeline, especially because you feel like you're actually talking to a real person. I could not come up with a better way to walk through Taylor's next adventure. I have played Lifeline 1 and 2, and I am actually playing it right now. A gripping and moving game experience like no other. (Also, I'm predicting that Taylor is the father, married to Mari)

Make more. I've played this and the other lifeLine and I think u should make one more to the awesome story with Taylor please consider making a new one but over all this games are the best

Legit the best ever!. I honestly cannot find fault. The story; the options; its immeasurable! Creator needs to be hired to write for Square Enix!!! (Highest praise possible!) the story and characters draw you in, even if you have a 6 month break ;) ultimate quick game ever, can't wait to see what Dave comes up with or where his career will go! (Dave, keep me posted bro!)

A pure masterpiece. I wouldn't call myself an avid gamer, but I have played and finished several games with great endings. Today I finished the second game "Silent Night" in the Lifeline series. I had taken all the right paths and finished it with the best possible ending. I must say I finished it with a heavy heart! This game is written so well you really bond and connect with the character. Well done to 3 Minute Games & Big Fish Games! A perfect masterpiece.

Heart felt. For a game that only uses words, it's better then most games I've EVER seen. It had amazing characters that had you sitting on the edge of your seat praying that they would survive. The writers are incredible 5 Stars.

Great game. I loved this game and I was so sad when I finished it. I wish Taylor's story continues in other lifeline apps but it seems he is now gone. This is honestly my favourite game on device ever. My favourite will never change, lifeline games will always be my number 1 device games.

Great game but needed more features. I loved the game but, I would of liked it more if there was more interaction with the map. Like when Taylor gets a visual map of the ship and everyone inside in the drill room, it would be nice to see them on the map. Also there were some errors with the story like, I didn't see the doctor doing stuff with the green things. Because I got out of the Medbay before he/she (can't remember gender :P) came in, but then Taylor says that he saw the doctor do it when he didn't

Just when I thought Taylor was safe. A much needed sequel to the original game, this one is a bit shorter but somehow even more immersive then the original. Taylor makes me cry and smile and worry about them even more. My only complaint is that I wish I had more time with them and the new characters before everything went to hell.

Love it so much!. Just finished playing lifeline and immediately went and bought this and I already love it

Absolutely amazing. I love all the lifeline games! They are all fantastic, but this one is by far the best yet (the other two are anything but bad). JUST GET THE APP ALREADY!

More of the same. I enjoyed the first story as it was novel (no pun intended), though felt the experience was a bit shallow and lacking. The sequel is more of the same, but without the novelty. If you've played the first one then you know exactly what to expect in this one.

Awesome just epic. So far seems better than the first Taylor’s off that moon people I’m just talking to him on his ship but is all as it seems? I left him sleeping hope he wakes up soon. Signing off bye

Good. Wasn't as good as the original and the communication break kinda toned down the emotional scene at the end for me. Also the email after the end didn't work either, but that is the only bad things about this excellent game, keep it up.

Absolutely compelling. 10/10. Just buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Marvellous sequel. Great writing, introduced a map which is a nice touch and has the usual great character bond you got from the first lifeline. I found this one harder though but it's a great story so don't be dissuaded from getting that ideal ending! Hope there's another one in this series!

THIS GAME IS AMAZING IN EVERY ASPECT. I just finished this game (with a few rewinds) and it is in my opinion better then the first lifeline, there are multiple characters, a on edge are tensefilled story and an amazing, nerdy, punny main character. If you are hesitant to get this BUY IT NOW ITS AMAZING

The best!. I really want to play the other games but I'm not allowed to because there all $3 😞 i would be so great full if you made some of them free!

Awesome idea. I was getting pretty bored of the usual app games and then stumbled over this. The reviews are spot on! Fun and entertaining ... Played all 3 in 2 weeks! Need more please!

Marketing. Hi I just left Taylor in a black hole and he died then there was a pre recorded message Akins for marketing and I'm like what so tell me what to do but the game is very good apart from marketing

Absolutely Love it!. I played the original lifeline and was amazed by it. It was immersive and quite addictive, then Lifeline 2 came out and I never bought it for some reason, I guess I just didn't like that it was a different character. Then this game came out and I decided to buy it. Don't regret it at all. I've barely started the game and I already love it. Like the first game it's intriguing and fun. It feels real. 3 minute games really did a god job there. Great storyline. Great game. Just buy it. It's worth it. 5 stars!

2 seconds into the game. Welp I'm literally 2 seconds into the game and based of the other reviews this is gonna be good. And for all those people just sitting there like : hmmmm should I get it? Yes! You should. Cmon guys Taylor is back! (I hope he remembers me)

Emotionally Fulfilled and Distraught. 10/10 would recommend: If you love getting attached to a fictional character that you end up worrying about while waiting for them to 'reply'.

Great game: one script problem. Very minor, but when the Comms cut and you send Taylor to say hi to Shepard in person at the cockpit, he meets Bos and suddenly the script indicates he was headed to the Ready room, notably the opposite end of the ship from the cockpit. Just ruins the immersion a little. Otherwise, a brilliant game. I have thoroughly enjoyed the other two, and look forward to finishing this one!

Love these types of games!! 👌. Have played nearly all of the games this group makes lifeline 1 got me hooked and now 2 and 3, awesome choice of risks or bonus, great gameplay 7

Great. These lifeline games are all awesome, but I definitely think the original was better than this one

Amazing.. I love this game, it is fun and the endings are really well made!

The best so far. Really liked this one. Was well paced with the right mix of humour and suspense.

Fantastic. Great game. Great story, only complaint I wish it were longer.

Best game ever. This is the best iPhone game that I have played ever. I really like the series ever since I bought the first one when it came out. Please keep making more about Taylor she is my favourite character in any game title mainly due to the fact that she gets to know you and tell you about her life and you get to help her. Thanks for making these games please keep making more☺️

Great game! 😐. Loved it. Exept for the part where I got severe depression

Love it!. I just started and it’s great, sigh- currently Taylor is sleeping- WAKE UP-

Lifeline 4. I love the series especially Taylor. If Lifeline 4 comes out I'm buying it instantly

Worth it! 😍🍓. I love the Life Line bundle, but this game's ending was a good one, made me cry. Great work! :) Cheers and hugs from Canada 😁❤️

Great game. It's a great game. Make me feel like I'm in the game.

GG. The only thing i can say is that, "i love this game".

Wonderful Addition!. I was really pleased with the continuation. It was more challenging than the first but there was certainly more personality. It was a little shorter than I thought it would be, and the map feature wasn't as integrated as much as I thought either. It didn't end up feeling incredibly useful further than making sense of how long breaks might be. Overall really fun!

Amazing!. My favorite one is the first episode but this one also very cool

Good. These games are fun but too slow for my tastes. I get the whole 'real time' thing it's just too slow for me. It would be nice if you could just turn off that aspect if you so choose.

One of my Favorites!!! Truly Amazing!!!. That game (or interactive book) is a masterpiece. The story is addicting, fascinating and it almost makes you shiver with its sound effect and adventure. Unique, original, juste truly amazing. It was worth spending money on it. I hope the said best ending was different but I really liked it anyway. It might seems a little bit exaggerated, but I won't forget about Taylor and his unbelievable adventures.

If you liked lifeline 1. This is not that game.. I loved the original lifeline, but this one feels very different. Builds up slow, choices you can make are poor and there's wayyyyy too much dialogue from Taylor. Also being a "choose your own adventure" users shouldn't be put in the spot of choosing between options which are pretty much the difference between "ok" and "sure"...

The game. Best game ever

Yaaasss. Loved it.

Soooo good. Plz make a last one with Taylor! :D

Amazing. Incredible game played all 3 lifeline titles and wish there was more you really become invested in the characters and can't wait for your next comm. Story sucks you in and keeps you entertained. Never had an issue with the app other than on the apple watch not wanting to open it from time to time but incredible and deserves 5 stars

Loved it. I loved working with Taylor again and I thought this sequel was great. I really hope for another one as the ending gave a lot of potential for another great story with them. Five stars!

Lifeline silent night. Entertaining. Like the humour and storyline. Great job.

Nothing like it!. Incredible to think how this game infiltrate my mind and made me completely absorbed in getting Taylor to the end, with nothing more than words unreeling on a screen! Awesome...more, please!

Bon jeu. Jeu très amusant!

Enjoyed it!. Longer than the first but it was less in depth and left unanswered questions but it was still fun.

First one was great. This sequel , silent night, was just ok.. The first lifeline story was a little more entering since it was a new game format. The silent night sequel didn’t draw me in as much. Still all in all a great way to kill some time between classes.

Amazing. I loved playing it 😭 the endings were super good and it's just as good as the first game

Trop long. Souvent le temp ou Taylor est absent est trop long

Stunning. Lifeline is so much fun and I'm glad they added Taylor into the game. Hope they make more lifelines

LIKE REAL LIFE. I love it ! I feel like if I help a real person...

WoW. J'ai adoré

FANTASTIC. Super original concept, very well done. Recommended to everyone who likes reading and story driven games.

The best game ever. This is the best game ever. Just buy it like fr this game should be on the top 5 best games in app store. I cried even if its just a game its just so sad and fun at the same time😎 I hope the 3 life line come's out pls make it with Taylor because the them with space is perfect and taylor for the fans. No offence but forget about the one with the desert them it wasn't wow and I pay attention because of how boring you guys made her sound but every thing else was perfect I really hope life line 3 come's out in a month max😎❤️

Great game! Problem with Apple Watch. This game is amazing, I recommend the whole series to anyone who likes an interactive story. I am however having an issues with my Apple Watch, the story isn't syncing properly which keeping throwing my phones version back a few checkpoints each time. I'm basically getting stuck partway near the beginning due to my stubbornness in trying to make it work on the watch, the first lifeline game didn't have this problem. Hope the develops catch this issue and fix it soon!

Fun game. I've played the first one, and since the reviews on the second one were iffy, I got the third. I was hoping I'd be able to play it on my Apple Watch as advertised, however every time I launch the app it appears as a black screen. I'm unsure if it's a bug or if I'm not doing something

Don't buy. I bought this game and I had $17.61 in my account. It's only a $2.79 game and after I bought it I only had $6.71. Please help me!!!!!

Pebble?. i played lifeline for quite a bit (through one wich i loved, now two wich is equally good) but i cant respond to messages on my pebble watch! this would be a WAY better feature than it just spamming my wrist with vibration...

AWESOME. This wasn't like last time where Taylor took like 7 hours to walk from one place to another and it's much shorter but hey, I'm only 1/4 into the game

Lifeline 4 plz. I get that Taylor is dead and all, but plz make a lifeline 4 with him in it!

Great story. Nice plot and replayability

Very different. I'm 61 and I find this game very entertaining, any age would because feeling like a hero doesn't happen every day! May the Force be with you ..whoops dating myself Beam me up Scottie! Not again? Carry on.

One of the best iPhone games to date!. Both this game and the original Lifeline are excellent games!

nice game. The story is really good, I love this game so much.

Really funny + Good Character. Taylor is the best. He’s really funny and I get sad when my boi dies. 😔 Also the things like “Taylor Is Walking” and stuff I love how one of them is “Beep Booping” Best game. ❤️ Whenever Taylor is unconscious/talking about death I’m like “MY BOY DON’T YOU FRICKING DIE ON ME YOU—“ I love Taylor so much and I just wanna lead him to his perfect end so he can be free and safe. I love this game 💗

No. It does not work on Apple Watch and the story keeps restarting from a random point

Great series!. I bought the bundle and played the first two which they were both great but I liked the second one better because you get to add more to the conversation and you don't sound like a robot the whole time. I'm looking forward to helping Taylor again and so far the third instalment is pretty fun and the same thing you can add more to the conversation. I'm looking forward to any more they might make and seeing what happens to Arica after the second one.

Story is worse than the first episode. I bought it thinking it was goong to be as awesome as the first episode... But like i said... It's not worth it.

Silent Night. Loved all three adventures. Hungering for more. Thanks guys.

But anyway, these are the most consistently awesome games you can find. They are an emotional journey like no other. I'm looking forward to more of Arika and new characters. Take my money! The logo in the top right corner of your games is a little tacky. I don't like it. Your icons are so pretty, you should forget the branding and let the icon shine.

BEAUTIFUL. I seriously love this game. I will tell you right now, the plot is amazing, the characters are amazing, and it's even challenging. I literally got stuck at one point and had to start the whole thing over. Don't let that turn you off, that means it's good. It makes you think and you feel everything along with Taylor. I recommend listening to an intensely sad piano piece while reading the very end. I did and the feels were so real I was about to cry. But seriously get this game. Best 99 cents I've spent in a long time.

Simple and amazing. I've played life line and silent night and it's simply amazing. It's a game I will recommend to all my friends. It sits right at the top of my list with my favorite books. I was hooked from the start and wanted to keep reading and helping Taylor the best I could and it broke my heart each time I cause Taylor's death lol. It's amazing how attached I became to this character just like in a book. I'm going to buy lifeline 2 now!

Love it, but it's buggy. I love this game, but I keep having issues with the game on the iPhone and Watch getting out of sync. And not just simply "oh, the iPhone hasn't updated my progress " but totally different decisions made, and then the watch throws me back to the beginning. I've died quite a few times and also had to uninstall and reinstall (thinking that would help, it didn't). Love the concept, but the execution could use some more work.

Great 2nd part. Can't wait for more from Taylor!. Honestly I preferred part 1 but then again it's really hard to pull off a 2nd part of anything and making it as good or better than the first part (unless we're talking Terminator 2). It's a great adventure but I missed the real-time part more than in part 2, where there was long sleeping, etc. Here it was more like pauses in between. I liked that the pausing message were more precise (Taylor doing this. Taylor doing that). I didn't see any use for the map though. Oh, and also my choices in dialog where sometimes - I felt misrepresented. You're offered a short answer but the displayed answer after choosing it suddenly sounded different than I intended it to sound. A bit weird. Overall a good and exciting game. Waiting for more from Taylor!

Better than the last 2!. This is a great game! This one is better than the other two. Why? Well the storyline is always fast paced and very exciting. It is also cool that this story as other humans in t that you have to decide if you want to trust or not. The game also seemed to be a little more difficult then the other two which I think is a good thing. There was a lot of hard choices to make. I got stuck at a couple spots and kept dying which made it more challenging and fun. Great job devs!

Good but first was.... I love this second part, but the first was a lot better. I think it was because many choices are the same or repetitive. If u choose one Taylor will go for it, but if you choose the other Taylor will do the same like in the other, but with a littel change in the answer. Not in all the game, just in some little times...after all it was great. Waiting for the third part, Taylor surviving the black hole, and traveling back in time with new mutated occupiers!!! What do you all think? Can this be a good third part little plot?

Taylor. I fell in love with Taylor in the first Lifeline and I've not fell deeply in love with him in this one. I cried every time one of my decisions lead him to his death. I smiled and giggled every time he said something funny and dorky. I was on the tip of toes every time he found trouble. I wish if Taylor was real, but maybe in another and in another, he's real. And I'd like to hold onto that. Thank you, Dave, for creating such a well and amazing being that is Taylor.

Not bad but very tedious. Not a bad game or concept, but died pretty quick like the first game, and unlike the first game, that death kind of takes away from the suspense about what is going on. Game is full of spoilers for the first game so if you are like me and got all at once and playing all at the same time, be prepared for some heavy spoilers. Definitely affecting my choices in the other game. Also, since so many different choices to make. Took me a while to get to the good ending, but required me making some decisions I normally wouldn't. Nice to know all the decisions I would make gets Taylor killed :( Also also, character is still a bit annoying at times

Wow.. This game... dat ending... Pls make more with Taylor, when I started the game and it said it was Taylor, I almost cried. I absolutely loved the first game, and was so attached to the character, that it was like seeing an old friend. This game, was just as good, except for one thing, it was too short, please make the game longer, maybe even make a survival one, where you need to help Taylor survive as long as possible? That would be great, because this game, I finished it in two days, that is way too short, but besides that, I loved the game. Hats off to the developers!🎩🎩🎩👏👏👏

Awesome quick fix game!. This app is an amazing choose-your-own-ending game. I love how it seamlessly continues the storyline if the previous version. My only complaint is that the progress does not sync with the apple watch app. So I essentially had two different storylines going at once. Also if I rewound the story on one device to a previous decision, it would COMPLETLY restart my story on the other device. But since I already completed the game and was only replaying to find alternate endings, it did not bother me too much.

It captures your attention. I played the first Lifeline game and really liked the main character, Taylor. I appreciated the pop culture references and only had to look up one. The game is written in a way that feels like real banter between friends. It captivated me. I admit I had to go back for a second round to get to the “best possible” outcome. I loved the ability to fast track the game the second time I played. Great game that captures your attention and keeps it throughout.

This game is too good. thanks for making me cry after getting deeply connected to Taylor. just, everything that happens. i almost ed started crying sooner but the end just really hit me. They feel like a real person when you’re taking to them and you get connected and it just makes everything so much more impactful

Lifeline. I have been playing the game for only a short time, but I am hooked. The game is addictive, and is written in such a way that you become immersed in the story. I was very surprised to see that the game doesn't employ high tech graphics: the author is so witty that the written word is all that is required. I have played the game several times always trying to help Taylor in any way that I can. I love helping Taylor choose the best course of action.

Awesome!. Really good game!! Was my favorite out of the two in this series.. Only a few things that were kind of off about it though.. 1: Taylor seems like a Guy on the first one and on here I'm getting more of a girlish feel.. 2: This story picks up off of the ending when you save your captain, even though a lot of people didn't :P I did because I beat the first game multiple times.. Anyways great game overall and I look forward to seeing more with Taylor!!

Incredible. I finished the Taylor arc, as you could call it, in just about three days, and let me just say, Lifeline is the best app I've ever downloaded. It's incredible how connected I felt to the characters, and I forgot once or twice, somehow, that Taylor is only a fictional character. (I also cried once or twice out of fear of making a bad decision.) I would highly recommend this app to anyone!!

AMAZING. I literally cried after finishing this game! It was so amazing and the character is so relatable. I got to attached to Taylor. The day after I finished the game I woke up and thought, "Oh right Taylor!". I went to check the game and silently stared and thought, "He doesn't need me anymore. I saved him." It was just so amazing!!!!!!! I want another adventure with Taylor so badly and everyone should try this game and the previous one! Honestly phenomenal job on this game. I adored it!!!

Great, but not as good as original. This game improved upon several aspects of the old one. The map feature is nice, but I wish it would provide real time movement, or at least a cursor for where Taylor is on the map. The one thing that I did not like about this game was the length, it was significantly shorter than the first game. But overall, the story is great, it seamlessly connects to the last game and builds upon Taylor's adventures. I do wish there would have been more character development though, the length of the game largely contributed to this.

I LOVE this game. I was currently playing both Lifeline 2 and 3, and I just loved getting to follow Taylor's story. At first I got an ending that I really didn't like, but I got to rewind the story and that is my favorite feature of these games. Ever since I saw the first game, I bought it instantly and became obsessed with Taylor's story, and really enjoyed the Taylor's intense last moments on that moon. I hope that there will be more games about Taylor in the future.

Nonsensical story and decisions. I enjoyed Lifeline but this one magnified its flaws and didn't build on the strengths. * the waiting times make a lot less sense here. It occasionally takes a couple of hours for Taylor to walk around the ship, but other times it's a few minutes. * the correct decisions aren't meaningfully predictable -- and worse, are sometimes contra-indicated by the previous story. At one point it's established that hacking doors closed doesn't do much to slow down the villains (as they catch up with you), but later on it's critical that you spend time to do the hacking. * at several points I had tools I wanted to use, but the story wouldn't let me. * there are a lot of forced conversational choices where they don't make any difference to the outcome or the dialogue, but you have to interact. And finally, there were some serious issues syncing between my Watch and iPhone. I'm not sure if I actually lost several hours of play from my watch, or if it just didn't get textual output on my phone, but either way it's confusing.

Great Experience...LOVED IT!. As all stories, I was captivated by story line and interacting with main character Taylor, a fictional character that I couldn't help get attached to on an emotional level...just grew to love that little guy! I know it sounds weird, but I find that's a common reaction when a protagonist is well presented and character/reader bonding occurs. Taylor, hope to hear from you in the future, and if you ever make it back to Earth, look me up so I can buy you a beer...you're my hero! (Oops, I forgot...you're only a dictional character! ;-)

I miss him 😞. I felt like Taylor was really my friend. And when he's happy, I am. When he's being annoying and sarcastic, I can give as good as I get. When he's going through his moments, and I'm there telling him what to do, it's like I'm really saving my friend. And at the end of both of his stories, I cried. I wasn't ready for how well written Taylor is or how much he'd mean to me. this is the best interactive story I've read. I'm blown away. and I miss my smartass friend Taylor.

Not as good as the previous two.. While it is fun game, I felt it took a wrong turn near the end. (Avoiding spoilers) There could have been some better ending options similar to the other games. Good news is that I am already in the middle of playing the next two games by Lifeline. They are great. Overall, I enjoy their games. For now, I am buying every game they put out (I just bought two more that I haven't started yet).

Too short, untapped potential (spoilers). This felt much shorter than the first one (twss). The addition of a map was interesting, but took away from the imagination. Also, it seems like there was so much more that could have been done as far as interaction with the environment. [Spoilers] Taylor should have used the various tools and parts of the ship to beat the baddies (i.e. The huge f---ing drill!) other than just opening doors and running around. And the people that DID stay alive were useless and played no part in the success of the mission. A lot of potential with this setting, but falls short and flat. And I agree that the pop culture references are laid on wayy too thick.

Taylor is hilarious. I love story-type games like this :) seriously, the Lifeline series is one of the best I've played yet .3. Taylor is so silly xD but somehow charming and quite endearing. I really hope you guys make another one with Taylor 🙂 I also like how in this version it says other things, such as [Taylor is prepping] instead of the usual [Taylor is busy] and the map schematic was pretty neat too. Good job, guys, and thanks again! Hey, wouldn't it be neat if you guys made this into an actual book? 😮😃📖

Enjoyed it but come on. I loved reading the Choose Your Own Adventure stories as a kid so I enjoyed playing this game and seeing Taylor's story continue. The sarcasm and pop culture mentions were over the top though. Yeah, you need humor in stressful situations but this was overdone. I also didn't like that many of the choices I had to make were stupid comments too and ultimately led to the same outcome. I had better advice to give but I guess the makers hadn't thought of other scenarios. And come on...are you telling me that on a spaceship they don't have emergency lighting or even one flashlight?! Unrealistic.

Fun Game!. The first time around I hated that I had to wait in several spots before the story continued but once you get to the end of the game, you have the option to rewind and fast track it which worked out better for me because I have no patience and love playing a game straight through. Taylor is my second favorite character. Of course Adam is my favorite from Lifeline:Whiteout. Anyway, those blasted green eyed boogeymen are in this story and I truly had a great time playing this the second time around.

PLEASE HELP!!!. I can't tell if I got Taylor to safety. He floating in space with no beacon. Is this how it ends?? For the record I like all 3 games but my favorite is the second one. The space theme I'm just not into as much. I really wish Taylor was already back on Earth and somehow connected to the second Lifeline since it was obviously connected to the first one. I guess what I'm trying to say is I wanted the story to continue off the second not go backwards. Thank you for making these awesome games!! Please don't stop!!

A great follow-up to the amazing original. If you loved the original lifeline, which I don't know why you wouldn't, this is a must have. A continuation of the same story that brings closure to Taylor's story. I did like the original much better but I guess that was due at least in some part to the freshness of the concept. I would highly recommend this game to fans of the original and strongly recommend it to everyone else.

LifeLine 4?. I'm a huge fan of these games. Honestly, they're my favorite games to be played on iPhone. I feel like I have such an important part in the characters' lives. I feel like in the first two, that Taylor and Akira had very similar personalities with the same humor and sarcasm. The next one should definitely maybe have a different type of personality that maybe we haven't seen in any of the previous installments (because there will be more... right?). I recommend this game to everyone. It's like being a part of a book. It's so great.

Your choices don’t matter. Not as good as the first, which you must play before playing this one. Your choices don’t really matter, as you’ll tell him to do something and he’ll do what he wants to do anyway. Or you’ll choose the wrong path and he makes it clear you’re going to get killed and asks you to confirm your choice (just like the first). I didn’t die on my first play through (I got the best ending first try) and I replayed it 4 times to try and find alternate endings, but all I could find were obvious deaths. Still, the gameplay is good and they are short stories worth reading. 4 stars.

This game is awesome.. This game is absolutely the best app I have ever downloaded, I got it all right my first time and I beat the first game after days and days of trying and rewinding it's been the most fun experience in my time with my phone playing these games, and yes I actually did cry after finishing this game can't wait for another one (and hope to god and all above that there will be.)

Same mechanics, different theme. Whereas Lifeline 1 was a mystery with elements of danger which progressed from ambient to immediate through the course of the story, this edition presents existential threat to the protagonist almost immediately. This causes the story to have a constant anxious feeling from the beginning. Perhaps having not played the epilogue to the original would have kept the invaders' motives unclear. Another thought was that it seemed much harder to intentionally choose bad courses of action which would lead to the hero's demise. This gave the story a feeling of being "on-rails."

Good work!. The original Lifeline was amazing and when I found out there was even more, I was so excited. These games can really give you an aspect of what “possible” life forms that could be on-other planets. Silent Night and the others really let us enjoy listening to them. It is also great to hear the messages on notifications and that it’s all timed out to seem realistic. Keep up the good work!

My attempt at putting this game into words... Well since the game is entirely in words this ought to be easy..... But oddly it isn't easy at all! This game has captivated my entire attention, I forget to pay attention at work, I literally want to respond while having tender moments, I feel like Taylor is my best friend and only wish I could respond with my own words. Such a completely encompassing game!!

5 star but different feel from the first. I gave 5 stars because I have not played something like this app. The writer has made a very simple concept so fresh and real. Although I enjoyed this game, I felt the story had a few "black holes". It may age been the decisions I made but in the begging of the story there were so many characters and to the conclusion I never really got interact as well as I thought I would. Although this was a downer for me on my first run, I am pretty sure a replay and change in situation may assist with the interaction piece I am looking for. Overall, it leaves me wanting more and can't wait to see the new stories to come. Oh yeah, I liked the map, but like any book you read, like the mystery of the reader to visualize the scenery. Reminds me of those old games where you had to memorize the path and or areas (hitchhiker a guide"ish" themes)

Goofy choices. Lifeline was great . Kept me wondering what was going to happen next . Kept me on the edge . Silent night is not keeping me feeling the story or urgency of what is going on . To many decisions you make seem rather goofy . To many times the danger feels distant . There is not much mystery of what is going on or why . Feel that maybe should have gone with a whole new story . Just returned after first reviewed . Do not like at all the interaction with taylor . The conversation is so absurd and silly that it is distracting way to much . You and taylor are possibly all that stands between possible destruction of all humans . Cannot bring myself to even go any further to see how story ends .

Worthwhile.. Lifeline: Silent Night is a sequel to the Original Lifeline, and a good one too. If you liked the original Lifeline, you'll like this one just as much. The original is a bit more exciting, since it's all new, but this one is just as much fun in my opinion. If you haven't played the original Lifeline, I highly recommend you do so first! It makes this game all the much better.

Loved it.. This is by far one of the most thrilling games I've seen on the App Store. Clash of Clans has been my number one pick for a long time, but this one as soon as I was in depth of the game, I became attach/addicted. Hope to see you guys release a sequel to Taylor getting out of the black hole. By far the best game I've played in the past 6 months! Thank you and your developers for the great experience!

Amazing story. The great thing about this story is not so much being immersed in a fictional universe but being part of an intimate, detailed experience of one person who is in distress. Together you and Taylor must figure out how to survive. It instantly makes you feel sympathetic for the characters while also making you a problem solver and a question-asker. The story also gives you a sense of hope. I hope there is another game that continues this story.

Fantastic game!. None of the gripes I have are game related at all. I love this game. The story is great, the characters are well written and there is a real emotional attachment to Taylor. You care about the decisions you make. My only complaint is that at the very end, when it asks you for your email (I'm guessing to inform you of updates and upcoming games), I always wind up with an error. So, the past few weeks I have had a notification from the game saying the Taylor is waiting on me, but I can't get rid of it. That really annoys me. With that said, I still can't wait to play the next one.

I Love it But.... This is amazing to be able to here from Taylor and it was fun playing too but it felt rushed. I don't blame you because people left bad reviews on lifeline 2 because it wasn't about Taylor in any way. I wasn't surprised when you killed him off. Actually I don't even know. What the heck happened during the end? What's with the email? The story was great. Although I enjoyed lifeline 2 more but that's mainly because I like fantasy more than sci-fi. I gave it 4 stars because it felt rushed.

How can anyone rate this less than 5 stars??. This is one of the best games I have played. I loved the original lifeline and saw this one after playing through the first one for the second time. When I started Silent Night I felt that I was meeting an old friend that I hadn't seen in years. (Of course I've never seen Taylor, but you get my point). Thank you to everyone who had a part in creating this amazing story!!!

Super short & buzz kill ending.. I'm a big fan of the first Life Line game with Taylor, and when I got in to this one it felt great to be going on a new adventure with him. I've only played through it once so far and the two things that disappointed me the most were: A. The game lasted less than a fraction the length of the first one. And, B. It uses the same green alien thing from the first one! They start acting weird, gain super human strength, and when the remove the helmets?... Green eyes. As I see it this game is pretty much the after credits scene to the first game.

Baller game. Played through first one, was amazing, played this one, was even better. Did everything right right, up until the very last choice where I messed up and got the worst ending. Back up to just that choice on a gamble and turns out thats the best possible ending, so pog I guess. Not a lot of explanation for the end, but leaves a lot of room for a sequel. Maybe book. Who knows. Either way, hype game, it’s cheap, worth the time.

Happy to be with Taylor again. Arika was a much less relatable character for me, and honestly, a much worse story. The problem with this one is it was too short.. It took me 2 days to get the 'perfect ending' and I rarely had to think about any descisions I'd made. Another problem is most descisions that seemed bad ended up being a close encounter, where they would be deaths in the games prior. Still an enjoyable experience for me though. Keep up the good work! Also, TAYLOR WON'T TAKE MY EMAIL ADDRESS

Not as good as the original but still worth your time. Man o man Taylor is back. This was shorter than the first sadly bust it was more tense and a bit harder in my opinion. Man that ending (good one) wow. They did a great job with this but the original is still better. If you have played the original and liked it then check this out. Knocked it out of the park again and almost made me break down and tears. Sweated a bunch too. Get it

PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER ONE 🌚. This is such a great story. I wish it went on for longer. I don't really know if Taylor died or not but if he (or she, idk) does survive, I hope that there will be a next one, and it will be just as good as this one! I also hope there's gonna be a bunch of new additions to the game, like maybe pictures (don't judge). This is totally worth your money GET IT NOW. But also get the first one so you can understand the story)

WELCOME BACK TAYLOR. After completing the first game ages ago and basically mourning Taylor, I flipped when I found out when there was another. This one was 100% different. The best choice is way less obvious than before and in my opinion it was even more suspenseful. After I finished it, I went back and explored all the story stuff. Its just so cool. You'd better make another! My peace of mind is gone forever. At least before I knew is she/he was alive. ;-;

Shorter than expected. This one is great but not as great as the first one. It's graphic I'll say, and a very heart pounding game. It really feels like you're talking to someone from miles away. It's way too short in my opinion. Though, the cliff hanger kinda makes up for it...kinda; and by which I mean that I hope they'll be making more of these, that of course I would definitely buy. The whole series are very unique. Simple, yet mind-blowing. Definitely one of my favorites. I would sure wait for more.
