Wonder for Dash and Dot Robots App Reviews

I love the robots!. I love the robots and all but a device that had all of my progress with the campaign broke and all the progress got los I would like a back up system.

Random deletion. I made a program and sometimes when I open it it deletes everything in the project apart from the start. This protect is now empty and keeps its name. So far it has only done it with programs that use Dash. Please fix this problem so our programs don’t delete randomly without using the delete button. I will give it five stars if you fix this. Also please add more to the Scroll quest.

Doesn’t work at all!. Huge disappointment. Keeps saying Bluetooth is off and it’s on. Have restarted the device several times and it simply DOES NOT WORK! Complete garbage.

LOVE IT!. I love dash I got him on my birthday which by the way is February 28th!!!

Nephew loves it so far. Just downloaded this for my nephew yesterday and he loves it! It works well on mobile, which is perfect for his little hands, is easy to navigate through the app and has been keeping his attention for the past few hours. I wish we had this stuff when I was growing up!

So cool. I am a big fan of all things dash, dot, and cue. I have even entered the robotics competition. They are a fun way to learn codeing!

No repeat cue ADD ONE!. I love it but I only have dot it would be better if I had dash also I can not find the repeat cue please doveper add a repet cue it wold be fun if it could be compatible with cue

Amazingly simple. I had fun playing with this app. It was so simple to create complex experiences using different sensors on Dash. The later challenges after introducing the app were a lot of fun. I am looking forward to them releasing more challenges but honestly the ones they have in their app already will take me a while to complete

Fun but.... Kids are learning a lot and having fun but... when the app is open, I’m unable to close out of any stage of the app without completely shutting off my phone. Any suggestions?

Glitchy. My child has really enjoyed the new app, but it is constantly freezing and/or closing. Frankly I am tried of hearing him whine and scream when it happens.

Great but.... I love the app and it is very kid-friendly. But it will be better if it tells you dash or dot’s battery life, apart from that is great

Boo. When you start it says that you are not connected to Bluetooth even though you are😭

Fantastic, but…. It’s a really, really good app, but there are not enough adventures/quests! Please make more and I’ll come back with a five-star rating.

Help. I love the app so far but it isn’t letting us work on the water wiggle last step. I have tried to figure out what is wrong but I cannot. It’s not letting us us a step and drag it and it won’t let us pass otherwise. So please help us with this. This app would totally be 5 stars if it wasn’t for this.

Camera. I wish he had a camera in his eye so if you were to use to drive around and you stay in place

Dash and Dot are good with me and my friends.. They are so much better than the other robots and they are my favorite thing. I Iove dash and dot.

Fun but stuck half way. I got dash for my son for Christmas and he's been playing with it almost non stop but now we're all stuck (cause we all have tried it) the first quest in dragons reach isn't giving us all the commands we need to finish the quest, we were able to do it in free play so it's a little frustrating. Other than that it's been a fun program

My Bluetooth is ON. I was getting my robot out and connecting it to my phone and when I tried to connect it was saying my Bluetooth was off but my Bluetooth is on is I get helping feedback I will change my review but until then this is a one start app

The app is great but the app is very easy. The app is very good and the app has been great for me and I love the app it is fun

The robot are awesome but the app is horrible. So when I use my dash and do programs if I use dash and dot together at random time, it turns off if I use dash alone, it’s somewhat fine if I use that alone, then I can I can’t virtually touch that because if I do it instantly kick me out of the for some reason please do some thing to fix this bug

I like it. I really like dash but I don’t have dot,I like the app and I have other apps too! But I thnk you need to be older than 4 do all levels.

Great, but…. This app is great, but it hasn’t been updated in a bit, and I feel like it needs to be refreshed, like some of the images being displayed are low of quality, and the user interface is kinda glitchy.

so good please read before you get the app. So good a few things you should do before you download the app Put on Bluetooth if you don’t have Bluetooth on then you won’t be able to do it. Also, go find your robot. It’s either Dot or DASH if you don’t know the robots names, tell you what they look like so DASH has three standing parts more to stand on and it has one little ball head connected. It has a little button to turn it on OK and dot just has a round circle and that’s his head. It has a little Head And yeah, so you can download the app now if you did all that already

Starts off great, but bugs lead to frustrated kids. Opening the box and plugging the robots is a great! Super engaging for the kids... and so far seems really well built in terms of quality and all the bells and whistle capabilities of the bots themselves... but stay with your kid- Bugs in the app can lead kids to a point they have the right solution but the app says here's something wrong. You have to clear the canvas, click back to get back to the main menu and then restart the activity for it to work. This leads to frustration and/or kids thinking they have it wrong when they in fact have it right

Great app. My 9 year old spent the last couple of hours glued to this app. It is great that Wonder Workshop is still creating new free apps almost a year after I got these robots.

Lot of fun. I downloaded this last night and my kid had a blast playing with it. Once you get a hang of it, the app seems to be incredibly powerful. My son likes the fact that he could copy his work onto Dash and was very proud showcasing his work.

Bluetooth is OK. So I have a dash robot and I went on this app and it did not allow me to Bluetooth. It says Bluetooth is unable. Please turn off your Bluetooth and I didn’t do that multiple times, so it’s not the best app

Too Big of a Back Ball. The Back Ball is too big for the launcher to fit on. That is the only bad part

Glitchy. Since the update today, just one of my son's coding programs won't run. When we tap "run," it kicks us out of the app.

Stop it!. Me and my brother both love dash,we played once got the game we wanted to play the second time and it wouldn’t let us inside the game. It got me really frustrated. I tried going to settings, but still didn’t work. Really disappointed 😞 please fix

Awesome with a suggestion. I love the program and how easy it is for kids to understand. It would be better if it was a user system that you could have multiple users using the same robots. That way I can have multiple children working with the same robots and not skip ahead because the older children went faster. Other than that it has been great so far.

Ummmmm I would give it five stars but this keeps happing. I was using this app no problom then a bit later It said my Bluetooth is off but I look in settings and it is on

Awesome!. I even tried the launcher! The launcher just launched balls. It was so cool!

Incorrectly says Bluetooth is off. Although Bluetooth is on and dash is working in Blockly this app says Bluetooth is off and refuses to work. Useless.

Please fix this. When I got a launcher I put it on dash but for some reason the throwing works but not the other one it just only goes a little up I’m pretty sure that the ball goes up and back to the launcher

Happy "state". I have been an early supporter of Dash and Dot right from their Kickstarter days. The ability to transfer my program to the robot and then play with it independent of my iPad makes it so much more fun. I will have my kid explore it more over the weekend and I am sure she will have a ball. Great job!!

Love it. I have been playing this for as long as I got it and I love it. The only thing I would want is more robots but you don’t have to. Other than that 10/10

Wonderful programming lessons. I bought these for my classrooms and the students are extremely excited. The various apps are fantastic in how they are laid out and the lessons in wonder are broken up into tiny enough chunks that you learn bit by bit. I am so impressed and cannot wait to get my students using these regularly.

Great until.... My daughter loves it, until we got to Dragon Reach - Thrill Ride. The command to "go backward" when fulfilling a sequence doesn't work. I even tried to do it during free play with no luck. I'm not sure if this is just me, but it should be easy since it is the first step in the series and I am doing exactly what the hint tells you to do. Other than being stuck there, my daughter loves it

My son loves these. We had a problem getting it to connect to this app but it turns out my son didn’t allow for it to use the Bluetooth haha so I erased the app, downloaded it again, allowed Bluetooth and it works now :)

Trash for now. It won’t let me connect my dash even though my blue tooth is on

Great app. I love this app but I wish you made an app like Cue for dash. It would be so much cooler to add apps that you don’t need to buy more accessories for.

Finally, the programmable toy we wanted!. This is the app that makes Dash and Dot work! Not only does it have an amazing interface, which has held my two children transfixed for days, but it finally allows the programs they make (ok, yeah, me too!) to be downloaded to the actual robots so they will run them even when not connected to the iPad. There are a lot of different ways to program the robots, to respond to actions and to build a state model that will teach some surprisingly advanced programming methods. Sure, there are many things that could be added, but the app is just fantastic as it is and can only get better.things like variables, sharing with other users and a few more triggers and states. But again, fantastic effort, great app and great educational toys.
