Really Stupid. I read previous reviews about the app and from what it seemed, it looked like SOME of them were free. However, when I downloaded the app, all I could find was the emojis (which were pointless because you can just use your own) and the moving backgrounds which you have to pay for. So you really can't do anything unless you buy the stuff. So people, just make it a app you have to buy instead ripping people off and getting them to buy stuff after they download it.

Getting too many ads now. Love this app. Seriously! Everyone asks how I get my messages to look like they do! However, more and more ads are popping up in the app and it's getting annoying!! Please stop adding extra ads! Today, I just had to watch a video game video to move to a next screen. Ridiculous!!!!

This app. This is the best app. I have had 6 apps before this one and none of them where this good. I love this app and thank you for making this app for all people who hate dealing with plane text to send thank you again.

I've been ripped off. Nice app. I paid for ALL the "moving backgrounds" and used it for four years. Today, they are all gone! I have to purchase the "moving backgrounds" again. The labels stated BRAND NEW!! But they were the same "moving backgrounds" I purchased, used , and now missing!

Awful. I wish I could give this app one star but of course I have to give it at least one star even though it doesn't deserve one star. The text don't even go thru so the other people don't even get the message. Plus every five seconds there is the same stupid google add. And last but not least, you have to buy most of the stuff. A total waste of my time.

Good but.... This app is AWESOME👌. But I have one issue. When I bought this app I was really exited cuz I was gonna have more colors. Then when I went to use it it worked perfectly and I could send everything. But then I wanted to use moving backgrounds so I BOUGHT some for .99 then when I went to use them I could not click on them to use. So then I went to clear my history and closed all my apps thinking that may work but no it didn't so I basacly wasted .99 on something that doesn't work. Please fix this then I'll give 5 stars.

Enough with the Google App Ads. Geez.. For every step to create just 1 text message you have to sit through the same Google App Ad about 4 times. I GET IT!! One cheeseburger has 303 calories. A. I would mind that it sends as an mms except that the font size is completely different. The pictures advertised on this app page are completely false!

Ok if you like persistant Ads. Downloaded it, installed it, deleted it. This is just a rubbish app used by Google to push its intrusive advertising.

Nothing special.. I find this useless, and I find that the original text bubbles look better. Having different colored bubbles isn't anything great. It's just a different color. You don't need it. If you have iMessage, go ahead, use this as much as you want. This sends a MMS like everyone knows, and takes longer to send a simple message. If this was paid, I would ask for my money back, but they wouldn't give me back a cent, of course. Anyway, it already tells you it sends a MMS. My messages send via Pimp My Text, but, don't worry if it doesn't. It's useless, ugly, and stupid. I wouldn't rate it bad, because, it does it's job. I wouldn't delete it though. Remember, this is my opinion.

Cute. Makes boring old text messaging fun again

You'd have to be desperate. You have to send texts through the application rather than iMessage and it only allows for 100 characters rather than the usual 160+. It has a terrible interface (large black screen with a small white box to hold your 100 characters). Once you've changed your text box background, it makes a copy to the clipboard which you then need to paste into iMessage and THEN you're done.

Kinda of Ok. Writing is small and sends as MMS. Not great if you don't have strong signal. Also takes ages to send message because it's a "picture". It's ok, but not to be used all the time. Plus, having to write message in the app and then attaching it to your txt is just annoying. Meh...

Mms. Yeah it's an mms message so if you are charged extra for mms messages it's a bit useless, however they do look cute. Probably wouldn't use it but it's a good idea for those who would.

Works fine if you have MMS enabled.... But if you use this all the time your charges will go thru the roof. iMessages are free but MMS messages are not you will get charges a higher rate when you send a 'pimped text' picture. Good for a special message but not for everyday messaging.

Waste of time. You only get 100 characters per text and then its a copy and paste into your messages. It cuts off text so it would only work for short messages. The idea is fun but thank goodness it's free because I deleted it after one go.

Horrible and inconvenient. This app is a waste of time and if it wasn't free I would say a waste of money as well but thank god that's not the case. Downloaded, wasted 5mb of my download limit, used it once and then deleted. People who are giving it 5 star ratings an using generic terms like wonderful and great game makes me think that they aren't really people writing reviews. This is something apple needs to get on top of as this leads to a misconception in a products market place standing. THRER WAS NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS APP AT ALL!!!

Cool concept; But Risky. This is really cool. I thought it was a light level iMessage hack at first, but really it works by generating an image then sending it to your clipboard. You then paste the generated image into your message and it appears as a text message to the reciever. It's risky because it uses your MMS service. If you do not have MMS features from your telecom provider; you may be charged more! Be careful!

It's nice but.... It's nice but you have to pay for moving backgrounds so fix that plz.

Novelty. A message has to be created within the app and then pasted into a text or iMessage screen. It's fun for one or two messages, but you can not carry on a conversation this way, going back and forth from the app to the text message. It does have a lot of colour options, font styles, and it is fun. But it's just a novelty. It isn't for everyday use. And my friends without smartphones get pictures, which if they get charged for picture messages then I'm going to be in the doghouse lol. Just be informed, it's a picture.

Not sure about this app. I thought this app was really cool when I started sending cool, colourful messages. Then I decided to pay 99 cents for the moving background. It didn't work and I got ripped off. The screen freezes every time I try to use it. I tried to restore it three times and it continues to freeze. I am currently still having this issue. I like the app otherwise but I got ripped off. Not happy.

Pimp my text. My friends were really surprised when they received my text. Wanted to know where I got it so referred them to where I downloaded it. A lot of fun and it's nice to be different than the same old black & white.

Too many steps to use.. Not a very fluid app. You have to type a 100 character max message on the app itself. Have the app convert it and paste it to your clipboard. Choose a friend. Send it. Each time you want to use it. Then it sends as an image. Tested it with a blackberry user and it doesn't work. The font is shrunken. Overall id say this app is crude and functional but not very convenient to use. Too slow and too many steps involved.

About the app. Your app said that I can buy a moving backround and I did but after I purchased the moving backround then it said "thank you for your purchase". So I was getting a lil board with my text bubble in iMessages so I went to the App Store and found this and then I found out that it only works if you text some one with an iPhone or apple product. I personally have an iPhone but I tried to send it to someone with an Samsung and it didn't works so Please fix that.

Disappointed. I'll give three stars because I like the concept of it, but it's not what I thought. I should've read the comments before installing. I don't have the time or patience to prepare my messages in that app, switch over to messages, then paste it into the message box. I thought it would change the colors in the actual messaging area.

I can change my background colors instead of the usual boring green that is the only option that is offered with my messaging that is standard with my iphone & AT&T plus I can do awesome things w/the text letters. At first my texts were boring and dull but then I started using pimp my texts and soon all my friends wanted to know how I had gotten such cool effects and I said, get pimp my texts it's free and the fonts,colors and backgrounds are so awesome,also it's super easy to use! now every single one of my friends have it and we have fun texting in colored fonts and backgrounds. Like the update!. My friend has this other app called "color texting for iMessages" and I've always been jealous of that cause she can do textures for backgrounds and different fonts. Fun and getting easier to use. At first, a bit clunky. After update it is now much easier to use and sparks a bit of fun into texts. Don't use it all the time, but every once in awhile it sparkles up a text.

Decent App. For those who can't figure it out after you get the the place where you send the text, choose the recipient then PASTE the picture into the text message. Easy. Can use some improvement though. Font sizes would be awesome! Maybe being able to center it too. If you don't have a data plan these texts will cost since its a picture.

Great App and Idea. I LOVE THIS APP, as always in every review there is a but so I shall use perhaps, perhaps. So here we go, I think that there should be like a keypad shortcut or something to activate the colored bubbles as it can become impactical switching between two apps to send and message and perhaps the text being the default iPhone size. Yet, overall the app is great.

Moving Back Grounds Don't Work !!!. I, have had this App for a while, and have purchased all the backgrounds. But when I, recently tried using the moving backgrounds. They, weren't there when I, went to paste and send the text?? All, of the others work (Colors, Textures). The only ones that don't work, are the moving ones. And that's the ones I, use the most. Please fix, update also, add more backgrounds. (Also I, have the PRO version, and the adds take over the App. You, can't even use it without waiting for the Google add to play. Or your add, telling me, to get the text/ringtone App.) Please fix or I, will have to find another texting App, there's lots more out there!😡

It's okay!. I like it!!! But I would like if you didn't have to copy and paste each message!!!! I wish some how it worked through the keyboard, like you click the worlds button thing that changes to Emoji and Spanish and french and stuff, I could change the new keyboard button and it would say "add new keyboard" and I would click that and it would say " add... Don't really like😕👎. What I like it the fonts and colors and backgrounds but what I don't like is that you have to go back and forth within the app itself.. As in when it takes you to the iMessage to paste the font you have chosen then you can't continue to text back to back you have to leave iMessage and go back to the pimp text app and write the text and fonts you've chosen and then go back to the iMessage and paste again.. I don't like it it's a lot of work.. Can't make pimp app your default iMessage 👎👎

Great!. This app works awesome! It's just that when ever you text it only let's you use 100 letters. When you use your 100 letters and you have copied it onto your clip board...it cuts off part of the message. Other than that it works great!! It let's you use cool fonts, different colors,and lots more! To avoid the cutting of the message thing, I don't use all 100 letters. =]

Has Potential. The recent updates have been good but I still am not happy with the fact that little square that you enter your text in has a 0/100 counter at the top of it. As you type, it keeps track of how many letters you have used and gives you the impression that you can use 100 total characters but you can't. If you fill up the white box and then hit the "next" button, not all of your text is carried over. I would be nice to see this fixed. I am noticing that the space in which to type is limited even though there seems to be a character counter that makes you think you can use up to 100 letters. The font is way too small but I like how it takes you directly to the text screen. Give us the option to enlarge the text and I will rate this higher. Thanks for listening. The update is great and now I will enjoy this app much more. Keep up with the improvements.

Love it. You know how you have a few apps you just can't do without? This is one of mine! I like to save my "Text Bubbles" by emailing them to myself and then downloading them into my camera roll to use again and again.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!. 100% must have app....:-))) it would be nice 2 just go to your own text mesage app instead of going to this app to text but i guess for all the cool styles it not that bad to do....:-))) already have told & showed all my friends about it & had them download it also.....

Fantastically amazing app. Able to text with motional background with various types of font, color, texture and emo icons. Definitely something fun and practical to have. Just upgrade to the color text pro but the moving background that I purchased from previous app did not transfer onto the new upgraded app...

It's a good idea, just not worth the time.. I think the idea of the app is great. But it wasn't what I expected it to be. I thought you'd be able to customize each text through one process. But the fact that you have to go back into the app each time is a little bit of a pain. It takes too much time to open the app pick the colors and copy it into the message. There fore, I think I'll stick to the normal message set up. But if there was a way for you to change it so you pick the background and have it stay without having to go back each time. I'd certainly buy the app.

Pretty cool!. It basically let's you make a picture that looks like a text message. You have to go to the app to make a new "picture" every time but it only takes like 10 seconds (unless you want to change the look).

Net. This app really works unlike the others u can even use it in emails .. Does what it says highly recommend this app!!! It's easy to follow instructions but u can't change the size of the font thts the only thing I didn't like overall it works

Awesome. It sends as a pic but still looks like a speech bubble my friend was like "how did you make it like that???" It's good and gives you what it says it does and the first person says it takes hours but I had a quick convo with my friend and EVERY SINGLE ONE of my texts were like that and it's faster than u think

Absolutely a MUSTGET. This is definitely a MUSTGET kind of application. It really works! Unlike so many countless other "color texting apps" that basically just send an image to the receiver with the text "in color" in the picture. This app actually sends it as a text message, words and everything. I'm not quite sure if it works on things other than iPhones, though. However, all in all this is an amazing application and I just love it! (especially the fact that when I purchased it, it was free) 😁

Pretty amazing but needs work. This app is amazing but it need work. I 💙💜💗💚💓💛😍 the new up date but if I send a message that is 100 letters it doesn't show the whole message so i have to send the rest of the message again because people cant see the rest of it and it is like u send a picture!!! So yeah just fix that and it would be 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ( 5 star) P.S. also fix the font size because it should be the size of the apple txt font thx

Cool app. Great app seeing I love to add color to everything, but it would be nice to have more room to type in. tell the people I email have to ask me a couple times what did you say because the box is too small to read my complete text???? Please fix and then more people would be interested in the app Thanks

Absolutely beautiful and creative!!!!. LOVE this app so much!!!!! I'm a huge texter and have been looking for an app like this to spice things up and make my texts a bit more colorful and enticing and this is perfect!!!! So glad I found it and will surely use it often!!! GET THIS ONE if you want to get creative with your texting! You won't be sorry :)

You customize it than you choose your friend, paste it in the box and send. BAM. Works like a charm. You can't miss this. 5 star. It does exactly what it says it does. Unfair reviews from others. If you want to pimp your text/make it look cool, this app will do it. Are these people giving low reviews expecting the author to rewrite the iPhone text app. I doubt apple will allow that. Great app!

Fun but work.... This app is fun but it takes too much time for everyday texting. This would be great to use for group text notifications, holiday wishes, birthdays, etc. If the features were integrated directly into the text app, like emojis, it would be awesome. But I'll only be using it for special things. Also, when you upgrade NO ONE wants to see ads anymore. That's why we paid. 3 stars but get rid of the ads & integrate into text app & it would be 5 stars.

👌. It really adds a nice touch especially for special messages. I would love to see more updates!!! Like not having to copy and paste if possible, and allow room for longer text messages...sometimes they get cut off. Overall a lot of fun😃

A Must Have!!. Ths app is a definite must have, it puts some added fun and definitely an attention getter, texting with friends, I often hear "How did you do that?!?" I have friends I text with my iPhone 4s to friends with Windows phones and they can even see it which is a problem i had using other apps, honestly I don't write many reviews, I've just been won over with this app! Have fun surprising your friends with different creative text, giving them something other than the same old boring letter style!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Fun App But.... It's cool in all but the bad thing is it sends the messages as a picture. It is a picture but looks like a messages. The person receiving the text has to have a iPod, iPhone or iPad. And you will get charged from your phone service provide because it's a picture(unless it's in your plan.) The other person has to be able to revive pictures to. Plus you have to type the message in the app and copy and past it. It's fun and annoying.
