They will choke your small business for no good reason. Stripe keeps it very quiet that they won’t actually release your first invoices to you for up to 14 days, and then they shift this payout date around sneakily with no notification which caused massive cash flow issues for my rapidly growing business. They’ve caused overdraft fees for me and since I don’t have the cash on hand for fulfillment, now I have angry customers that are ruining the reputation of my business. All because of Stripe refusing to communicate. I have a several hundred person Facebook group that I am finding an invoicing software for, and I thought stripe would be the one, but after this awful experience, I will ensure nobody has an account with you guys. If you take 2.9% of every transaction, you should have more than enough money to figure these issues out and stop holding small business owners who are already struggling by the neck and choking them out. Because that’s how stripe has made me feel. Do better.

Payout Delayed Over 7-14 Business Day Time Frame. Verifying my account on Stripe has been a nightmare. Despite their friendly customer service- problems verifying my account has caused me to give them a one. I spoke on the phone with one representative and was assured my account “should” be verified only to receive an email later that day that I needed to upload additional documentation to verify again. After calling, there turned out to be something else wrong with my account. I sat on the phone for 2 days with reps to still not have my problem resolved. A problem I cannot fix from my end. Different representatives contacted me about my issue via email, and while timely and polite, my problem isn’t solved. The hold on my account hasn’t allowed me to receive any payments and I am 100% self employed in a small growing one woman business. Not receiving any payments this month has caused delays of paying bills and being able to support myself. Super disappointed in the time frame my account is being handled.

DO NOT USE!!!. Customer support is dismal with weeks in between emails, if they deem you high risk they will hold your funds for over 120 days before doing a pay out in case of customer dispute or refund. They won’t tell you however that they consider you high risk so you’ll have your business all set up customers ready to go you’ll be getting money you just won’t get any payouts from them essentially they asked me to work for free for four months while I cross my fingers and wish upon a star that it’ll all work out 120 days. I suddenly found myself unable to put gas in my car to even go to my clients appointments because the paycheck I was expecting them to payout to me never came and when I questioned it all of a sudden I get slapped with the you’re high risk! Never had a customer dispute no reason for them to treat me like this!

Bad Really Bad. So I have had my businesses using Stripe for a year now . The first transaction was a nightmare to get my funds . It took weeks and weeks to get my money , there was no one to talk to immediately to find answers and the email responses were careless and no effort to help . Even though I decided to stay and put some time into it to learn and maybe manage better ,, it is expensive , they charge way too much commission , starting 2024 my business grew considerably and transactions went 250% higher , stripe made a lot of money out of my business and al the sudden sent me an email letting me know they were going to freeze 25% of my money due to ( Sales volume increase) . Asked me for all the Private Financial information of my business to which I declined and thanks to that I was able to find out my bank had better options for me than stripe . Money in my account same day which was imposible with stripe and lower charges for processing. Stripe is Bad really abusive and intruder of private information . Big No No

Stay away if you’re a smaller business. Stripe decided after ONE of my customers disputed a charge (which I won because I had done the work and had a video of the finished product) that they should hold 25% of my future charges in a reserve account for 60 days. Not one additional customer has disputed a charge during the 60 days and I have not had to do any refunds and now the 60 days is up and they are still holding my money. I reached out to see what I needed to do to get it released and the support people don’t even understand the question and therefor can’t get me an answer. Less than 1% of my charges were disputed and as I said, I won the dispute and the funds were returned to me. Stay clear of this company if you don’t want to be subject to draconian measures if one of your customers is dishonest and disputes a charge.

STRIPE, YOU ARE THE WORST APP. You are making me lose my business.. If you don't want your small business to go bankrupt, don't use this app. I am a Latin woman with a small business that I started 1 year ago with a lot of effort, and sacrifice and thanks to this app I am loosing my business and 3 weeks late with no payment. 3 weeks and half ago I opened my account with Stripe, because I thought it was safe for me and my clients. And it's already been 3 weeks that I haven't been able to pay my business or personal expenses because they are apparently verifying my business when I've sent them all kinds of documentation, screenshots of chats with clients, even a small commercial I did for my business and still they tell me that they cannot verify my business. This is arbitrary and I feel discriminated for being a Latina, a small business and even for being a woman who runs a business. No one from Stripe helps me and I have emailed all Stripe emails and they just tell me that their team is working to verify my business, like if I am illegal or a drug dealer. Wow!!! I am shocked to see how bad is this company. I believe they just say that to use your money to get paid interests and they just take advantage that you have a small business. Please Stripe, do not withhold my money, it’s the money for a service I have provided and I really need it.

Good service but hellish support team. The service is very well designed and stable but the support team is utterly useless and outright dishonest with zero oversight accountability or quality control. After a very long chat session in which the agent outright lied, promised things they couldn't deliver then said they would turn the chat into a ticket. We didn't get a ticket or even emailed a chat transcript, the agent knew they messed up so they decided to hide the whole thing. This shouldn't even be possible. The chat should automatically be added to support center on the account and the customer should be able to turn it into a ticket. The agent being able to completely ignore the whole thing after wasting so much of the customer's time shouldn't be possible. To make things worse they are extremely rude and close the tickets at whim without answering the query. This isn't the first time either. when getting support for a complex matter requiring back and forth you get a response from a different person every time and they don't read the history. Even when the same agent answers they go in circles and each time is like the first. This support team is very poorly trained and mismanaged...

Beyond unsatisfied. I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Stripe regarding a payout hold. Stripe requested that I verify my identity by uploading a photo of my government-issued ID, which I promptly did. Despite providing a clear and valid photo, Stripe responded that they were “unable to verify my identity based on the information provided.” I followed the instructions precisely, and my ID is legitimate, so I am completely at a loss as to why they could not verify it. To make matters worse, Stripe has held onto my funds without a clear resolution or further assistance. This lack of transparency and user-friendly support is unacceptable, especially when dealing with people’s hard-earned money. I expect Stripe to streamline their verification process and provide a clear way to resolve these issues in the future. Holding funds indefinitely with vague reasoning damages trust and customer confidence.

Discriminatory (i do not recommend them). Im puertorican, we have little to no payment apps options here. A artist recommended me stripe, i made the account, finished it a few weeks later- 1 hour or so later that day(august 13), my account is blocked. Apparently after being reviewed they decided i was a crowdfund, when im just another artist like so many other who use it. After around 4 to 6 emails, i gave up, they didn't change their mind and i went ahead and deleted the account instead of waiting for the 24 days. (August 26) I go on twitter and guess what! Another artist had the same issue! But surprise, their issue was resolved!! What difference did we had professionally? Nothing, we both used kofi, we both draw digitally, we even are stinky furries. There is one difference tho, he's white and im not. I don't want the acc back, i want EVERYONE ELSE TO KNOW HOW DISCRIMINATORY AND INJUST THEY ARE!! Either all or none. There are more than just a few artist using stripe, aren't they crowdfunding too? Why was that artist, who also used the Kofi link on their business account, resolved but mine wasn't?? If y'all don't want to be called racist, discriminatory, then judge everyone equally. I do not recommend them.

Quality customer service. When I first started using stripe years ago, I was very healthy and working all the time. Now getting coronavirus pandemic pandemonium so my students aren’t returning. Schools have closed and library‘s are shut down as well. These are two venues of the many that I have performed in for 25 years or more. But nowAs a Brown American grandmother that owns a business, i’m suffering. Grants from the government aren’t happening. I’m a small business and there’s very little support besides customers. Whenever I have to reach out to customer service, you’re always available to assist me trying to keep my business afloat. I’m grateful for the corporate support. In this socially distant world, it’s hard to have personal contact with other people now. But straight manages to maintain support for all of us business owners. PayPal is outsource customer service so it’s tricky. Thanks stripe!

A really good payment platform but questionable App.. So this is my updated review, my original review is below that. I’ve been using the App now for 6 months. My updated review is more disappointment. Stripe, please use some of the profit from your $20 billion in revenues to create an app that works. More specifically, the charts are horrible. The are not correct and they are limited in options. The last couple of days the YTD don’t even have the correct revenues under the correct months. Yes I know I can use a desktop for more charts, but that’s not the point, I rely heavily on this mobile app to run my business. Please, get it together! I really like Stipe. Their service is reliable and simple. The app works well and is straightforward in design and simple usability. My only feedback is it’s lack of reporting on the App, and what’s is there is limited. Having a year over year comparison my month would be good to show growth would be good. I don’t care about the year over prior month because the number of days are different.

Update to my previous great review. Was told today out of nowhere Stripe can’t support my business going forward as it’s high risk. It’s digital products for finance and credit. No risk, everyone knows what they’re getting. It’s instant and lifetime access to whatever information they purchase. After being told Stripe can’t support my business I was told everyone will be refunded. This means people have lifetime access to my digital products for free. All the support options are unavailable other than send an email which I’ve done but for the most part I’m now a sitting duck and have sold products for zero profit. This is worse than the nonsense I had at PayPal and even though I was having to wait a week for my money to pay out I was ok with that cause the process seemed so easy. Guess it was too good to be true

Worst Invoice App I’ve ever tried. The percentages taken out, the added on fees for processing, are outrageous. Then on top of that when they mess up and back bill a customer labeling it as something the customer is unaware of, the customer disputes the claim and Stripe takes that money out of your account even though you’ve already refunded that money 3 months prior. For context i run a paint company and completed work for a customer who accidentally paid in full in advance. Calling her back and telling her it will be several weeks before we can start, I feel more comfortable taking a small percentage and then getting the rest upon completion. So I refund her money back. That money goes out of my account within a few days. Fast forward several months and I get an email stating there’s a dispute for “product not received”. I try and contact stripe and I get nothing but a email stating I have to fight that claim myself and hope the bank takes the evidence I have (screenshots of the customer telling me what the charges were labeled as “Masonry”, and that they’d cancel the dispute.”). Look on my bank account today and see over a 1k taken out for that dispute even though it was canceled. Plus fees and other charges added onto money ive never received. It’s a scam, I’m essentially paying for their mess up so regardless they end up making a few dollars. Do not recommend in any way. Stay away from this invoicing service if you can. Plenty of better ones out there.

Best of the best. I've been using Stripe as my payment provider for several months now, and I am extremely satisfied with the service they offer. Stripe has made it incredibly easy to accept payments online. Their user interface is intuitive and straightforward, allowing me to set up and manage my account with ease. Thieves. This company will rob you blind. They hold your money with an excuse of holding for disputes. They held 78k of our money. We would have had to had 3000 disputes for them to hold that much and then said they would hold it for over three months. We will never use them. In addition it cost you if you lose a dispute and every dispute seems to go in favor of the ones disputing. I proved a kid had two of his four tickets scanned. Yet if he chose not to use the other two it was too bad because we had no refund policy. I proved in other was as well. So they deny any evidence you give them and charge you a $15 charge on a ticket that was $20… and for holding the money they say they don’t collect interest on it… liars. We will do cash only from now on.

It’s OK so far… : /. I tried decided to give straight I try, I was a former user of Square for multiple years. I figured I could save myself .6% over the course of time that adds up. But I’m having an issue with my deposits being deposited promptly. Even after the initial week. I’m 10 days I have processed proximately 10 to 12 different sales, it’s taking about three days to get those in my account. I’m just not used to that is that the norm? With Square, I had a Square debit card and within two minutes of me running the transaction it will show up on my debit card. I went through all the settings and I have the settings on to one day after the sale deposit. I pause my review to give them a little more time with the deposits. I am now three months in to using Stripe and still if I run a charge on a Sunday or Saturday it does not get to my account until Wednesday of the next week that’s why I rate it three stars.

Terrible platform beware!. I wish I could write a review with 5 stars and say that I am completely happy but sadly this isn’t the case. When I log into the site in the app or desktop version my entire Stripe dashboard is blank. It has never shown data for any of my payments over the last several months. I’m being charge processing fees that seem like they are much higher than what was indicated and I’m unable to look at reports to make sure. They deposit all of your payments in a lump sum but again, without reports I can’t see how much has been taken out of each transaction. I also received a call from an angry very high profile customer that was billed an exorbant amount of money for something that was an 1/8 of what actually came out of their credit card. My invoice shows the correct amount yet their credit card statement shows my business charging them a lot more. I am completely embarrassed and I definitely lost them as a customer. I am so upset to have to take away the ability to pay with a credit card online but it must be done. This is way too much of a risk to deal with. I will find another way to bill my customers. Probably through the square app as I’ve had a lot of luck in the past with them.

Disatisfaction. I had to give a partial refund to a couple of customers because they charged the wrong price. This was not possible using my previous financial service. So, I switched to stripe.I am a baby boomer and I can't tell the balance in my stripe account. I was making refunds and came up with a negative balance and stripe notified me. But the only way to increase the balance in my stripe account was to wire money from my bank which is costly and slow. I moved money immediately from my savings account to my debit account – but stripe wouldn't take it from there. It's certainly a good reminder never to have a negative balance with stripe. I put an extra four or $500 and my stripe acct Sometime ago and now I can't find it. Does that mean they sent it back to me or that it's in something that I can't find on the website

Rock solid and great support for over five years.. Stripe has been the backbone of my business for five years. After processing hundreds of thousands of dollars I’ve never had a problem with them. It’s sad to see so many negative reviews criticizing stripe for chargebacks. These are outside of stripe’s control and are completely arbitrated by credit card companies. When I’ve had a chargeback I found stripe’s dispute control system to be extremely helpful. Just make sure you keep evidence of your sales and shipping and if you sell digital products keep logs of downloads or site access. You’ll get your money back if you can prove that the customer received their product. Whenever I get stripe notifications it puts a smile on my face. Now that I’ve established my business with them my money transfers are extremely quick with the majority coming through in 48 hours.

The worst nightmare of a banking experience -Retired Army Veteran. After switching to stripe to utilize ACH transactions we processed two charges that the company then decided to cancel our account because the business “was too high risk” now.. unfortunately 1000’s of other businesses that do business consulting, web development, graphic design and many other services do use the platform without issue. After sending in invoice proof, tax EIN, monthly banking statements and even a DBA for our brand name Commission Based Marketing, they refused to allow us to transact stating that they would be refunding the money only if there was available funds. This is concerning since the amount transferred is less the 2.9 % fee… so not sure if Stripe is just now withholding the money for ever in the amount of 5,000 plus dollars from clients who already had service rendered. We will be filing reports with the following entities: Infusionsoft as brand partnership that is in Beta for using Stripe ACH- Attorney generals office Federal Trade Commission BBB And will be taking this to as many News outlets as possible to ensure the rest of the consumer market knows how shady this company really is. As someone who fought for this country.. I can tell you, our corporation that is 100% legit is not risky… I had expected such better experience when integrating payment processing and finding solutions for our growing business. DONT USE STRIPE

good app but reluctant pay out method. are use Stripe and Wise payments to accept payments in my online shops. With Wise payments I can withdraw payments to my bank straight away. With Stripe, if I have $10,000 on the account, it pays me 150 this week, 1000 next week, 200 the week after, by which time another $10,000 has come in. So far every $300 that comes in they only pay $100 out and always keep most of my balance in their account. Which I consider holding my funds over greedily. therefore tell most of my customers to use Wise payments to pay me so it goes straight on my bank instead of having to wait four weeks to receive a payment and have it split into five different small payments by wise just so that they can make money with my money in the meantime. Much too slow to pay out my balance and they split it into very difficult to understand portions. there's definitely a scam with keeping hold of peoples money for too long before they pay out

Cumbersome. I have been using an invoicing program for years that switched payment processing companies recently. Nothing about switching over to Stripe has been easy. I am a very small construction company. Everything needed for setup has required so many layers that I am tired of it. If it doesn’t improve I will most likely switch invoicing programs and find a different payment processing system. Update: I am done. This is terrible! They accepted payment twice, but my customer did not have an easy time submitting payment. Now they want verification of my bank account- the one they have processed payment to twice. I submitted a voided check per their instructions. They declined it, because the business name doesn’t match my personal name. This is crazy! This also may be the first bad review I have left in my life!

BS Company. Use Stripe off another company to except payments. Been using them here and there for almost a year. Started out ok. Next thing they stop transferring payments and want you to submit info. Did that. A few months later the same thing. Did that. Then they stop transferring again because I didn’t have my website listed. I updated that and still didn’t transfer funds that have been sitting there for over a week. Next thing I get another email wanting me to verify myself with an ID or DL verification. After almost a year? The worst part is that you can’t call anyone (it’s extra) you have to send an email. Wait for a response to just say they got your email. A few days later you’ll get an email saying someone is looking into the issue you have. And then that’s it. I haven’t heard back from anyone. It’s been a week. I sent another email and have yet to get a response. This company is a joke and the way they conduct business is on par...

Not on the sellers side for disputes.. I wish I could give stripe leas than one star on this one. I’m actively looking for a new payment managing app. A customer disputed a month old transaction ‘on accident’. Stripe immediately refined the charge and charged me a $24 fee for the dispute, THEN sent me an email about the situation. Wow. No opportunity to provide proof of the transaction. I politely reached out the customer to inquire what the issue was, she replied that it was an accident and informers her bank. Great, I provided this in my rebuttal on the matter. A month later I get a ‘Your dispute is closed, and ruled in the customers favor’ What?!? The standard ‘It is not our decision, but the customers bank...’ email has completely turn me off to this service. I’m all about buyer protection but this is crazy. I provide all the proof you requested and now I’m out $140+ and the product, which Stripe just gave the customer for free. Thanks Stripe.

Stripe be straight up bs’n with your money!. Yal clucks need to market your deposit times the way yal market anything “instant” their service is FAR from instant everything works like they say it does but they are not up front about the fact that you WILL be waiting on your money for a week AT LEAST ( and that’s first deposit and the next ones.) That’s straight up bs how is it that square and even ancient and archaic PayPal can do instant deposits (for a fee is fine) but we have to wait a week to get access to funds that are already ours 🤦🏾‍♂️ does not make much sense at all! And they have bs scripts when you call them saying things like “it’s industry standard” when it’s NOT. I just listed two MAJOR companies in the SAME industry that do not hold funds for as long as stripe does!

small businesses beware, there’s no customer support. Update: after waiting almost a month for stripe to issue a payout I was forced to refund $3,000 to my costumers which stripe still charged me $100. I’ve spent countless hours on this worthless company. DO NOT waste your time. They don’t have any idea what they’re doing in customer support and it takes days to get any answers back. I’ve contacted stripe multiple times, almost everyday for the last week, and I’ll get an immediate response claiming that they’re looking into why my payments aren’t going through and they’ll get back to me shortly but no one has gotten back to me yet and now my account is frozen. They claim to be looking into that too and will get back to me shortly, basically the same response for them last week. I’m a small business, stripe has 3k in payments I’m still waiting for, if you’re ok with not receiving money for weeks while not getting any answers or support to as of why then stripe might be for you. Most likely I’m going to have to refund them money and try to get paid another way which as a new business you can understand isn’t just frustrating but embarrassing. It looks bad on me for stripes poor performance.

Beware trusting this service. I have been using stripe for quite awhile. First they started to hold a reserve on my account in the beginning which is understandable, fast forward two months later when they are supposed to pay out those reserves they say it’s going to be two more months, and in their terms they can continue this indefinitely. They currently have just under $4k of my money paid out months ago by customers and I have never had a dispute or even a complaint and they continue to just say I’m a high risk and will continue to take 25% of any transactions and put in their bank account with no timeframe for it to be released. Please save yourself there is other options out there. I am switching to quick books while I await to see if there is a way to end this relationship with stripe.

Barely use them and have nothing but problems.. They’re integrated into the Invoice Simple App and they’ve screwed up before and charged processing fees when they were supposed to be charged to the customer and now I see a couple hundred dollars removed from my bank account and nobody could tell me what it was until after I had my bank issue a chargeback and I come to find out it’s because someone disputed the payment and Stripe automatically pulled the funds from my accounts WEEKS later. As if that would be the first time a customer lies to get a refund?? How about not doing anything until the dispute comes to a conclusion. We regularly use Square and they don’t do that. They inform you of the dispute and only IF you lose are the funds withdrawn from your account. How it should be. I do NOT recommend these guys.

Avoid at all costs. About 12 months ago we discovered a hole in their system- Stripe allowed users to have multiple accounts coming to one bank account. We had about $40k in fraudulent charges from users, spent 3 months everyday trying to get someone to resolve the issue for us. We finally got someone to assist us and As per their advice we requested refunds from the users which resulted in them putting a $22k reserve in our account. Charge backs are supposed to clear after 180days. Guess what 180+ days later still hasn’t happened. We keep getting the run around and nobody has any answers, I don’t think they actually know what the answer is. Since we started using stripe we’ve dealt with more customer support tix of our own about payments than we have anything else. It’s a pity because the integration is super easy and their general customer support is very polite ( if you exclude the-fact that all they can actually do is give the same level of the information as the FAQ’s from the website). As it stands we can’t even claim any revenue being generated, can’t make payouts from our bank account and have a $22k reserve.

Frustrated Grandma. This company is holding money hostage. Applied for an account. We are a non profit NOT a 501c3. Told them that up front. They allowed the account to be set up. Have had 3 donors donate to us and Stripe is holding their money hostage. They told us we do not qualify to use them. We are on their restricted list. We are a grandparent organization working for an academic education for our grandkids. They won’t give us the money nor refund the money to the donors that have donated to us. I have asked for this account to be closed and the donors given their money back but Stripe does nothing about it. I have written MANY emails back and forth but all I get is the run around. I’m sick of this. Going to tell everyone I know never to use STRIPE. After posting this I got a response from STRIPE asking me to write to them AGAIN!!! I’ve emailed them probably 15 times with no results. This time this gave a different email address to write to them. THIS COMPANY RIPS PEOPLE OFF AND KEEPS YOUR MONEY!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!

Unreliable service, avoid them. I am partnered through a website called Beatstars through which I sell beats online. Within around a week of working with Stripe, I was allegedly hit with a number of fraudulent charges that were all denied. Due to this, I was indirectly notified that Stripe decided to stop doing business with me because my business was "high-risk". I only had one successful transaction, I was expecting to get my money but the deposit is continuing to be delayed by 2+ weeks, with Stripe saying they are going to issue a refund without my consent. Similarly, they alleged that my business was not eligible and I am currently locked out of my account as I am not able to "verify my account" even though I've repeated the same process over and over again in order to remedy that. I have reached out to them several times but the response each time is that they will respond as soon as they can. If you can work with any other alternative site, please do. Paypal has been reliable and I've never had problems with fraud, being eligible, or anything I mentioned earlier prior to Stripe.

1st time usage as a DoorDash Dasher. So I like the entire schematic of Stripe and how accessible it seems to be but that’s the only reason I could confidently provide it with a 3-star review. As a new dasher yet not unfamiliar to filing independently, I’m having trouble with Stripe’s prompting for me in creating an account by not finding any correct terms or options to truly make the account and even especially ultimately not gaining access to my tax information from this previous year to file effective ASAP. Because of my inability to form the correct ‘business’ or job information required to complete my account setup and not gaining access to my forms immediately I would deem it an immediate 1/2 star. So, I’m reasonable here in giving a decent 3/5 stars because it should be at a 2-star evaluation, confidently so, for me at this point in time. But besides the obvious personal downside I’m experiencing, great app idea, format and accessibility!

Held my money for months with no communication. I’m a photographer and used to use Stripe to collect payments. One day totally out of the blue I notice that the payments payments aren’t going through to my bank account. They are coming out of my clients accounts and just being held by stripe. Two months later and a I’m still trying to get my money - at this point around $6000! They claim that one of the payments I received was “questionable” and they put a hold on my account. No notice, no communication, and Stripe had no problem collecting the money from my clients but wouldn’t let me transfer any of it to my bank. The worst part of it is that during the entire fiasco, I have never been able to get a hold of anyone at stripe! I’m at a loss. Update: many months later I got my money but it cost me a lot of waisted time and I was still never able to speak to a person. After threatening lawsuits to my invoicing al (Invoice2go) they where finally able to get the money through. I’ll never use this service and recommend staying away if your a small business that deals with personal checks.

MOST INCOMPETENT FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. STAY AWAY FROM this platform at all costs. There was an issue with matching names between my stripe business account information and my business bank account. I continued to submit supporting documentation multiple time (over 5 times) and instead of calling me to let me know what was it that they were specifically looking for, they kept and continue to decline the document without further explanation. I have contacted their costumer support personnel, which were very polite and had all intentions to help, they were unable to help resolve the issue due to lack of proper training and being inadequately equipped or supported by management. I honestly believe this company is scam and does not actually have licensed accountants to help resolve taxation issues. Why? Well the answer I was given by the rep didn't make sense and didn't sound legitimate. I was told that the name of the business name on the SS4 form given by the IRS didn't match the one on the bank account - which it did - just the bank account didn't have my own name on it because it's a business account and do business as XYZ but it clearly stated I'm the bank account owner. Here we are there weeks later and they're still holding my payout s hostage even after providing proper documents and contacting them multiple times. I'm still waiting on management phone call.

Client unable to make purchase from site. My client tried to make a purchase from my website through stripe and the site sent him a fraud alert on all his cards. The message from stripe told him to call customer service. He called several times and no one responded. I called stripe amd no respond. I emailed stripe twice and no respond back. My client had to make the purchase through Venmo instead for his Valentines Day Gift. This was a long stressful process and now I’m having to hand deliver a gift certificate because stripe will refuse to respond. No telling how many other clients I’m loosing on sales from no customer service response from stripe. I’m very aggravated and disappointed in this company.

Money missing no records. We recently have customer whom paid through this service via credit card and we received the invoice and card number through the company app we have it linked too. In the past we have never had any issues. This transaction we received email stating they had our business account as a personal account and instructed us that we would need to get a new account. Our account is a business account which we have had over 15 years and nothing has changed but this company telling us we need a new account to get our funds. We now have to go through the hassle of contacting our customer and telling them their payment has been hijacked and needs to be cancelled. Therefor now it delays us getting paid for this amount of time. There is no record of the payment being made. In fact there is no record of any of our past customers payments either. I would have recommended this process before a week ago. Now I don’t know what to say except this is not worth it in any way.

CROOKS Faulty App, Bad Support and Overcharging. I only have stripe because it is was Big Cartel used to process payments. I had to issue a customer a refund which required me to log in to stripe. First, they required to verify my identity, which took over a day. When I was finally given access to my account and tried to issue the refund I got a “something went wrong” error message. I tried contacting their support, someone replied to my message, asking to send more information about the transaction. When I replied directly to this email with the requested information, I got an email saying that “no one monitors this email account” even though it was the support account. Additionally, when I started looking into the fees I was being charged on recent transactions I found that I had been getting charged over 10% per transaction even though the stripe website claims to only charge 2.9%. I will be deleting my account, complaining to Big Cartel about Stripe overcharging and having terrible support, and probably closing my big cartel account and moving to Shopify

Customer service is terrible!!. Holding my payouts for over two weeks. Keep getting the same email over and over!! No phone number to call!! This is so crazy I don’t even know what to say. I’m beyond frustrated. I trusted them with all my credit card payments and now I can’t get my money. Everything was fine and all of the sudden it just stopped depositing. I literally can’t pay my bills because Stripe is holding ALL of my money and I don’t see a way to get it resolved. This should be criminal!!! I would give them negative stars if I could!! Remember there is no number to call!! Only email! It’s a joke!!!!

Stripe ...making business easy! 💳💵. I must give credit where credit is due and Stripe, you get just that! As a freshman business owner my biggest stress and anxiety was from my lack of computer literacy and lack of knowledge on payment gateways or set ups. Stripe is so simple to use and teaches you along the way. They pretty much have you cover on all ends, doing the job for you leaving you to the hands on part. Best part for me was the built in book/record keeping. At the end of the fiscal year all you have to do export and print and you are set! Oh and I can’t forget the built in fraud detection... IT WORKS! They immediately block fraudulent activity keeping you safe from future disputes. It’s a must have for all entrepreneurs and freelancer starting their business.

Terrible customer service. I’ve used Stripe in the past for another business with minimal issues so I decided to use them again. Everything went great at first. After my first transaction went through I got an email about verifying my webpage. All the links sent me to login and then to the homepage. I searched everywhere for something about my verification issue, nothing to be found. Eventually my account gets suspended because they can’t verify my page, nobody else seems to have a problem with it though. As of today all I can get is an email from Stripe saying they’re looking into it, 11 days and they can’t figure it out. Luckily I don’t have a lot of credit card transactions and my customers understand. I bet I can find another company willing to take my money though!

I’VE LOST THOUSANDS WITH THIS COMPANY. Stripe does nothing to protect small business owners against fraud. No matter what information is submitted on my behalf whenever I deal with fraudulent payments, THEY NEVER consider the small business owner. None of the cc processing companies are good but what choice do we have? At least PayPal requires the customer to send back the items before issuing a refund, stripe doesn’t at all. What is the point of a business owner creating policies in place to try to protect themselves, but the credit card processing companies won’t honor any of the policies? What is the point? This is so unfair and I am so irritated with these practices because there is nothing being done to protect me and other small business owners against fraud. I’ve lost thousands and thousands of dollars using Stripe, and as of today I will never no longer use them and I don’t recommend anyone else to use them as well, especially if you are in a high-risk business such as myself.

First payment late & waiting. I’m a small business I’m a cab driver with one cab had issues with Square thought that I could make a move found in Stripe gave me all my proper information, my LLC my bank account routing number and when it came to the seven day waiting period I look at my bank account. My money is not there. I go to my Payment app Stripe app and tells me that it failed that I entered wrong information. I sent them a photo copy of my routing number and account number two days after I was supposed to have my money all I’m getting is thank you for sending us. Your issue will get back to you going on two weeks to get my first money they have issues with their system and it’s gonna make you wait and wait and wait square doesn’t have any competition. Somebody needs to do something but making a customer wait this long for their money I don’t know what to tell you. It’s just that I wish I hadn’t.

They will just close your stripe account and take away the money.. My stripe account was working fine for five months without any customer disputes, but stripe still closed my account and took the money from my account. I have 2 stripe accounts. In the first stripe account, they told me that the money in my account would be withdrawn to my bank card after four months, but it was not withdrawn to my bank card after four months. I went through After email consultation about this issue, they reviewed my second account, which had been working normally for 5 months without any trading risk, but they closed my second account again and took away the money in my account. They lied to me, so I hope everyone thinks carefully about using stripe, maybe they will close your account one day and reject the review information you submitted, close your account and finally take the money in it.

No one else. No one else (Square, QB goPayment, CloverGo) Has been able to offer me such a simple streamlined merchant product that is user friendly and can be integrated on various platforms or as a stand alone. There have been zero processing issues, zero customer complaints so I am happy. The only two things I would like to see in the future are 1) for there to be Stripe Reports that are easily conducted customized and sent/downloaded. (If there is such a thing… PLEASE tell me how 😬😩. ) 2) for stripe to be able to integrate further with zoho app which is where my clients are accessing the stripe payment gateway) so that I can see the invoices from zoho and the payments associated in the same Report’s. (I.e. invoice numbers (zoho) : payment transaction number (stripe) TOGETHER WITH ITEM DETAILS ETC. this would be SO helpful for P&L and bookkeeping tracking purposes. )

Stripe will steal your money!. Writing from a small fundraising event that used stripe to collect payments for event sign ups. The first 3 payments went through, the next 3 did not. They told us it was because our bank number was incorrect which makes no sense considering the first 3 went through and nothing was changed after that. Support was awful, had to re-explain my situation multiple times. They wouldn’t even discuss anything until I uploaded a number of documents, multiple times because they claimed the documents didn’t have all the information they requested—it wasn’t until I literally circled the information they were looking for on the digital documents after the 3rd time uploading them did they even begin a conversation with me. There were multiple times I had to double email them after more than a week with no response. We still have yet to receive the $2,000 they stole from our small fundraiser back in August 2024. Read multiple other online reviews highlighting similar scenarios. Save yourself now and don’t give them a dollar.

the mandatory wait to transfer funds is DUMB. so i switched my website from an old provider to squarespace only to find that squarespace doesnt use Square for transactions online (which is already dumb because the web provider i used prior did and it was smooth and effective, but the web design was lacking) so my first sale on the new website took an entire WEEK+ for me to get the funds to complete the purchase on my end. the next sale i still have to wait 4-8 days before i can withdraw to again complete the order. on applying for instant payout permission(something i shouldnt have to ask for as a freaking business owner, yal not a bank and the money shouldnt be yours until ive actually received it) im denied until x amount of months pass and ive made $5000 but as a startup business being forced to drip feed my actions clearly this isnt meant to help the consumer get started. a lot of handcuffing these days and i really dont like that i cant withdraw money as soon as its paid to me. if theres a legal reason than square must be breaking laws because they allowed a much smoother process

Refuse to reimburse service fee after fraud. I recently started using Stripe and felt very hopeful this would be an asset to my business after having a client recommend using it to process payment for my services. Upon realizing this future client was fraudulent and after a few google searches realized this has been the case for many other with the phone number they were using. I quickly refunded the credit card amount back to my account and reported it to stripe as FRAUD. However the $98 service charge was still taken out of my account, no questions asked. After several emails attempting to get the fee reimbursed after I was told it was (which is shown on my stripe account) they refused to release the funds to my bank account. They are requesting all sorts of information now in order to release my funds but had no issues with taking it out of my account with such information. As a single mom of two kids $100 is a lot to just throw away and after emails and getting the go around I will no longer be using stripe and will strongly advise others to reconsider going this route. Hope this may help others in the future.

It’s a joke. Complete joke, sign up, initial payment of $2900+ dollars from a customer….i sent a support message simply asking about availability of funds since as a business literally every single payment system we’ve used has funds available next day, even when new. Well with stripe it “7 days” on the initial payment, understandable maybe. Well that simple question prompted an email saying funds were on hold until my issue was resolved… my issue of wondering timing. I replied and was told ok, we’ll take that message as feedback and not an “issue”. Fast forward to day 6, the day before funds should be available…… another email, funds are on hold until my “issue is resolved”… the issue of asking about timing that was resolved a few days earlier. And wouldn’t you know it, zero reply or response to my email today. We’re going to see what happens at midnight on day 7. So far it’s proven to be a joke based off of how their customer service has been so far

FEEDBACK ON NEW UPDATE. I LOVE using Stripe and they’ve been a continue blessing for our business. However, the new app update replaced the payout screen with “estimated future payout” rather than providing the actual estimation on those future payouts. This is a bit undesirable as the one thing I enjoyed the app OVER the dashboard was the fact that you could see the estimated future payout “date” on your overall balance rather than the only in flight payouts. It was just more enjoyable when you could see the payout estimate for FUTURE (over a day or two) payouts... If they’d change back to the old format with a color change like they did, I’d be happy. Thanks Stripe! Hope this feedback makes a difference. Love your services overall though. No complaints, just a cosmetic change I miss now that it’s gone... TL:DR - Maybe I can’t see it or am ignorant, but I can’t find the estimated payout date on future payouts over a day or that isn’t in flight already...

Worst company to do business w. I am starting a new business and during the process of setting up w stripe. They decided to cancel my service and refund legitimate charges to my customers. It has created a major hiccup in my business venture. I would implore anyone thinking about using this service to do your research. And find a company that has a customer service that you can talk to as the only contact that they have available is through email. There are much better options. They not only will not explain the decision. It appears that there is a possibility that they may not return all funds to me or my customers. The process is very unclear which is why I am unsure what is going to happen next. On top of all this. The entire app and website is counter intuitive to begin with

The latest update has made the app pointless. I used the app version of Stripe to keep on top of my payouts. Knowing how much I would have coming on certain days allowed me to budget accordingly. The new app just shows 1 day of payouts and a bulk amount, meaning I now need to log in to find out this information. This change is inconvenient enough I have started to explore replacements for stripe.

Manage the invoices and set invoices as paid through a different method.. I have made numerous requests throughout the years for stripe to integrate the ability for me to set an invoice or a subscription payment as paid through bank transfer for example. I still don’t have that access. We need the same features that the web application offers. The app is still missing crucial aspects for business needs.

Typical faceless company. Be careful using this company, after 3 years of using them without any hassle they decided that because I don’t have a website for my business they would cut off my access to customer payments, they’re currently holding over $4000 worth of my money which I can’t even check to see if it’s there all I know is customers have paid into it but I can’t see if it’s there or if it’s been rejected. They can’t seem to understand that not every business using them needs a website to conduct business. All you can do is try and answer questions on their site to prove you’re a legitimate business. This is what happens when companies go faceless and uncontactable via other means. If your looking for a payment system I’d suggest PayPal you still have to prove to them you’re a legitimate business but they have a much better means of checking. And you can see your funds in there all the time. So at least you know your money is there.

Seriously unsatisfied!!!. They have charged so many of my customers unexpectedly and I every single time they try to point the finger back at us. My customers come to me and we have to rectify every error at our expense. Currently none of my customers can process any payments and are unable to be paid, we have been trying to communicate this issue to attempt to get it resolved quickly but with the poor customer service from Stripe’s team is quite literally a joke.

Lack of customer service. Stripe has the most misleading website! 1° NO PROMPT CUSTOMER SERVICE If you have any issue with them there is NO phone number to call only via email or you leave their number and they will call in 30mins later in a drop call where your phone will ring one and drop out leaving with no time to answer although the website say 3mins. 2° FAST PAYMENT DOESNT EXIST Took me 30days to have the funds in my stripe account and even after talking to 2 differents customer service team member still haven’t receive my money in my bank account and they said it’s because I haven’t provided an website or instagram account of my business WHEN IM A SOLO TRADER AND I DO NOT HAVE ONE 3° UNTRAINED STUFF People answering answering by the standard Q&A from the website so if you have any questions that isn’t in the website Q&A they don’t know the answer Ok platforms but the updates haven’t been updated on theirs Q&A so isn’t a very straight forward system as you read things and nothing alignes with what is written in the website

Good Overall. Stripe is very easy to use & customer friendly. Payments have always come in on time, no quibbles (so far). User options on the app is somewhat limited but desktop version is sharp & has everything you need.

Happy so far. I’ve been using the website for a long time and happy so far. Maybe the negative comments I read in the reviews are for the app only. Will find out soon enough. Because I plan to use the phone more often than the laptop. Hence trying the app now.

Disappointing. Disappointing to say the least .I have disabled credit card payments on my invoicing package. Stripe have held onto my credit card payments for over two months claiming they want additional information which I given multiple times. Still trying to claim all my payments for works I have completed months ago! Never will I use stripe again.

Stripe. Do not recommend. Hold payments back and charge ridiculous processing fees. I’ve had a large payment held back from them for over 3 weeks. They ask for information that they are not entitled to know and have held my money because of that. The first few payments went through fine but now all of a sudden they won’t let this one through.

Crappy service!. I’ve been using stripe for a few months now & it’s just a let down. As a business, I rely on payments. MY income takes ages to get to my bank and the dates it says it will reach me constantly changes as well the amount. I’ve now disbanded my stripe account and gone with square up. Reading other reviews that are similar to mine make me think this is something stripe needs to rectify!!

Disgraceful. I run a small business and I rely on the funds from my sales to pay general business expenses. My funds are constantly delayed and not paid into my bank account ever on time and at present, my funds are being held in reserve and I’m being told my funds won’t be paid out for 120 days! This program is awful and if I could give zero stars I would. I do not recommend this service. To those of you considering Stripe, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Locked out. Have resurrected my account but a Catch 22 has me unable to access my account. It tells me I have to wait several minutes or contact support, and at the same time it tells me that I have tried to log in too many times. So, I can’t sign in because no matter what instructions I follow, your system won’t let me sign in. Please fix ASAP.

Convenience.. Perfect for what I need it for. Easy to use both the Website and mobile app. Maintaining, tracking, charging and refunds all made easy on both platforms.

BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Stripe has locked me out of my account for “suspicious activity” that they don’t elaborate on. It has been weeks and access has still not been resolved despite a ton of emails to their support team (they have zero phone options). I have 5 figure $ amounts sitting in this account that I can’t access. They show zero urgency to rectify and just keep asking for more and more documents (driver licence, passport, bank statements all supplied and STILL not good enough to rectify). Worst service I have experienced from any business to date, avoid them at all costs and use another payment platform as I will be doing once this gets resolved (if ever).

Please bring back time on payments. The new stripe app no longer displays the time of payments on the payments list - you have to click through to view. This allowed me to see the pace of sales with a quick glance. Please bring this detail back!! Thanks

Better than sliced bread. Been able to take credit card payments on my phone is exceptional easy and is done without any fuss at all.

STAY AWAY. Your funds stay in limbo for 7 days and you can do nothing about it other than stare at your screen, they also charge a fee on top! Spoke to Stripe rep from a dodgy United States number and they cannot provide an actual reason for holding your money ransom other than “we validate bank details” lol what a joke Wish I could give it no star STAY AWAY

Poor service & too long to receive funds. There is no customer service - you can’t contact anyone from Stripe and they lock your money in the account to transfer to you at their discretion instead of when you want it - not recommended!!!

Good functionality, poor support. This app is easy to navigate and simple to use. Unfortunately the support is slow and unhelpful. Considering the nature of the business this app is used for, you would expect a better level of support.

Payment dates constantly changing!. I run a small business and rely on the payments from my customers coming through to pay staff. Every time I check to see when I should be expecting my payment and the date is shown, then check in that day, the day has changed! This has been going on for around 10 days. You take fees and now won’t transfer funds on the dates you declare.... just pay the money or I take my business elsewhere!

Generally Good. A bit frustrating that credit card cost is not charged to client, it really adds up when you loose $2 for every $100 paid. Also, you have to wait 'up to 7 days' for money to appear in account. It a big wait for a small business as cash flow is everything.

PAYMENTS. Would be 5-stars if Stripe Online/App recognised payments immediately as the customer orders even though it takes 5 days to clear the funds, as my product is made to order I could be making the product if i knew Stripe had received it. 👎🏻

Awesome payment gateway. I should’ve gone with stripe from the start. The best protection against fraudulent transactions and online support is polite and gets resolved fast. I don’t have to stress anymore. Thanks Stripe.

Inbound Payments. I can’t believe that when you notify me of an incoming payment that you do not show who the payee is! I have multiple client invoices for the same amount …..is there a set-up issue?

5 Star Rating. I have been using Stripe for you nearly 6 years and I must say I have never had an issue with anything. Thoroughly recommended.

Slow payouts, new UI less readable. New UI is meh, too much white space and seems less readable than the previous one. Payouts can be slow to be sent and also accumulate very slowly to the available soon section then to available to pay out section, then to the bank avec out. The dashboard, charts, and notifications are useful though.

M. They have asked for my own private messages of customers, confidential information even tho they have every detail of my life an still won’t let my money be processed into my account. Never seen anything like this in my life

Scam - be warned do not use !. Been around in circles with this useless company .Have been waiting to be paid for 3 weeks now. Getting emails saying I need more verification, responding to these emails with more verification and then being told that my account has now been approved but still can’t accept payments. I have spent hours wasted on the phone going around in circles with them saying there putting it as a high priority and there sorting it out . I am now 3 weeks later back to square one with another email saying my account needs be verified to continue with there service . Seems stripe must just hold money for as long possible you as many people as possible . Do not use this company !

Wish i could give 0 stars. 100% would NOT recommend to anyone. Borderline scamming company suspended my account after high volume of orders and refused to transfer thousands of dollars to my bank account. Customer support is non-existent and will likely just copy and paste a /support web page to this review which will also lead to no solution. Even with a verified account you’ll likely get your money stolen... dont waste your time with this garbage Being told “good luck with your business” after having thousands of dollars taken from you feels great too

Most difficult company to deal with.. I have seriously never had more difficulties getting my own money than with Stripe. The paid out my first few transactions no problem but have now decided to hold my money for no reason. Even their customer service reps agree there is no reason. Disgusting behaviour. All I want is the money I am owed. It’s not that hard.

Poor user interface. Payment information comes though too late. Hard to reconcile your sales at the end of the day if you can’t get a total of approved payments. No phone support, very limited online support, overall a poor merchant experience. But I guess we now have an online store so they get an extra star for that.

Rip off and wish you could give 0 rating!!!. Not really the biggest fan, expensive and slow and they use copy and pasted responses. I’ve been waiting nearly 4 weeks now to have money released. They don’t provide clear information or proof and all the responses are the same. Worst rip off company. Please be aware and shop around. This company does not look after you at all.

Absolutely lame. Their security fails to recognise government issued IDS and I just spent 10 days recovering my account. Not to mention your first payment keeps getting delayed in being released. There is no way to contact stripe other than emails and genuinely I am not going to recommend this platform to others. Square is 1000 times better even if they charge more fees!

hate hate hate. i wish i could give no star. terrible app and hate the way they run it. I asked for help about something and was told my payments would go in within 2 days and didn’t show for 7 days. You have no right to take fees either that’s ridiculous when you people didn’t work for that money at all. Absolutely disgraceful.

Fraudulent transaction fees. Be very wary of Stripe always on the customers side, even if you’ve been in partnership with them for years as a business. A customer can dispute a transaction through Stripe and Stripe will remove the money from your bank account without any evidence of fraudulent transaction/. Strike will remove money from your bank account even after you present them with evidence that is contrary to the fraudulent transaction.

Good mobile payment option. It’s a good option for receiving payment but 5% on every transaction is excessive. A monthly subscription is a more sensible option. I personally won’t use this as my primary payment receiving option as I have issues with 5% transaction fee.

Very poor. They shut down my acct that I’ve been using for months. I emailed numerous times asking if it was the new course I added. They would not respond or help. I would have gladly taken it off my StanStore but instead they just deleted me.

Won’t pay me out. They won’t pay out the funds in my account. I have followed the verification criteria perfectly and have had customer support say they are taking it to an actual person. A week later, no responses and my money is sitting in my stripe account and they won’t send to my bank. I have been using wepay flawlessly for ten years with no issues. FreshBooks moves to stripe and I can’t get my net out now. One star. I’d give zero stars if I could. Beware of these bandits taking their fees and not providing a service even though you are a fully legit business with documents and years of records to prove it. Lame

WORST COMPANY. This company worked great for my business at first, money was always deposited without issue, towards the end of January I noticed a delay in funds being deposited& I have been attempting to resolve this issue with their team since I noticed this problem & although quick response was received from their team every night after midnight, 0 action has been taken (we are now on the evening of February 11th) even after they requested to verify my identification which I did right away , and then they requested the same identity verification 6 more times throughout the past TWO WEEKS, which I continued to upload government identification verification for each time I received from them without any funds reaching my account, we are almost at about 4 grand here they are holding from me. Highly wouldn’t recommend using this service.

Missing features. Stripe has many features missing in the mobile version. I was hoping they would have a system for transferring instantly to bank accounts and also adding debit card from mobile version. They also don’t have a way to transfer funds from one business to another within the same app.

I would look elsewhere.. I have used stripe before and it caused issues, and for someone reason I decided to switch from square to stripe which was a nightmare. They literally held a $24.35 payment for well over two weeks claiming it was for security puppeteer. When I called support the first time I was told I had to wait until 14 days! Then I reached out again and they had the audacity to tell me the money was in my account when it wasn’t, and that I had to issue a payout which I’ve never had to do before and that I had changed my settings to Mayan instead of automatic which I would NOT have done. Funny enough after fighting for the last three days I was able to initiate payment, and I still have to wait another 1-2 days. Imagine all this for ONE payment for ONE class at $24.35 . I can’t even imagine if I was waiting on a large payment to pay website fees, or invoices. I’d be paying extra interest because of this. This stretched me thin to NO end. Literally. I would suggest other payment options. Holding someone’s money for almost three weeks is not a security measure. We all know how security measures in banking and payments work. It’s the term they give for unnecessary bureaucracy.

Customer support is bad. App and software in general is over complicated. Customer support only via email and very inefficient. Not recommended at all.

Do not choose stripe for your small business.. They will hold your funds for no reason, ask for ridiculous supporting documentation and when you provide it, they still deny you your payouts. This is a thread on Reddit, happens often and is unacceptable! Absolutely catastrophic for a small business cash flow, and they provide literally NO WAY to contact them for support. Incredibly frustrated. Will be cancelling my account with them as soon as possible.

Scammers at their best. Stay away from that platform! After some COVID restrictions the delivery time of most carriers has increased, which caused one of our customer filing the dispute. It was back in November, 2021. Long story short, the customer received the goods from our company and cancelled the dispute, however Stripe decided to hold money. We were supposed to get paid on the 1st of February, but just received the message from Stripe “support” that they decided to turn us away as a customer, because the service industry is “too risky” for them. On top, they held ALL the money from ALL the customers for 90 days. Their support s**ks big time, so consider contacting them as a waste of time. Such a disgraceful behaviour towards their client.

Stay away!. am appalled by Stripe's recent actions. Without any grounds, my account has been blocked, and funds are being refunded to satisfied customers who've received their orders. There have been no chargebacks or complaints. This is unacceptable. Furthermore, over $14,000 is held by Stripe with no payout date provided. This lack of transparency and arbitrary decision-making reflects poorly on Stripe's integrity and reliability as a payment processor. Immediate resolution is imperative.

Room for improvement. Our team use this app daily and would be nice for it to match the feature sets of the web application. This is critical for many high frequency use cases such as partial refunds, looking at invoice payment IPs etc…

Terrible company. Stripe froze my payouts in January stating that my dashboard records did not match what the government records showed. When I looked at the dashboard everything was correct and looked exactly as I expected it to look. I was asked to upload new documents which I did, only to have them rejected by Stripe with no explanation as to why they were rejected just a demand to upload more documents. They have telephone support but they are powerless to help. All they can do is listen to your complaint and push it to the next tier of support who refuse to talk to the customer on the phone. I was on a hamster wheel of uploading new documents, getting rejected with no explanation and uploading more documents, rinse and repeat. It started January 20th and only ended today March 12th when they finally acknowledged a document I uploaded and released my funds ($7300, which is a lot of money to my very small business). I had to go to the Registry of Joint Stock Companies and pay to have a document electronically signed and verified by them and that was accepted. I had previously uploaded this document along with many others that were rejected so I believe it was the certification that finally caused them to back down. Bottom line - there are lots of payment processing companies out there to use so I would advise you avoid Stripe like the plague. I will be closing my Stripe account as soon as the payout arrives and never using them again. I will also be telling this woeful tale to any and all who would listen. It will probably take another 3 months for my stress levels to normalize and my mental health to recover. DONT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE THE WORST!!!

Bad for business SCAM. I operate an STR mostly with booking.com. I did an instant payout of 350cad and the next hour, stripe put my account on hold for me provide further documentation for my business, immediately I did that i got a message that my account will be close and they weren’t refunding my balance 1450 in my account. Terrible. It’s not even possible to get a hold of these people and talk to a person live. They want your money so bad they don’t even listen to you realize you’re small business you need to find what you said it up through whatever bank in your business you’re going through and then they keep it. And process it so slow. Customer service is completely had a -100. Access to anything in your account -100. Energy and Agent we have access to our phones 24 hours to seven this week. This place is a Joe. And then concerning with me is the fact that when I try to get a phone number for there’s like three for companies name, stripe . It has been a huge huge mistake on my part.

Thieves. This company took a payment from my customer and put it in my account and then immediately stole it back out and doesn’t know why they did it, but refuses to give it back to me for 7 days. It’s $8,200. It’s good for my family, gas to go to work, my mortgage payment, and not to mention Christmas presents I now can’t buy for my two kids and wife. I wish I could give negative stars or at least be able to talk to someone that’s capable of doing something. When you have them call you, the only people that do, can’t do anything, but chat with a supervisor, that you’re not allowed to talk to. Give it two days and maybe they’ll email you. Then give them another two days and they might respond to your follow up email. Ridiculous.

Sketchy. I use this service to accept payments from another app that only allows payouts through this service. Weird thing is every time I log in it seems to be creating another Stripe storefront. A fee weeks ago I started receiving daily messages that looked like phishing from Stripe demanding photos of my ID. And when I finally found the time to send them it took several attempts before their broken photo link to accept my ID. The next morning I received a message saying that they shut down my account because I presented a dangerous and unacceptable risk. When I log into my payout account it appears to be unaffected, but I really don’t know what these idiots are up to.

No shipping partners. OmG this made my life so complicated. All the listed shipping partners no longer works with them. I have to take my packages to USPS and ship them manually. And i wont let me close or hold my account in order to do that i have close my website for 1 day or two! Imagen how much Business i lose if i do that. All the agents will tell U different things when u call them. They legit dont care about their company! How could they not know all of these 10 shipping companies dont work with them no more. This company is a scam. Seems to be consistent with other users of stripe they approve your account. Allow you to set up your business link your bank account and accept payments then turn around and close your account stating that you are a high risk and keeping your funds. How is it legal to to keep funds when the company should have established me being a high risk from the beginning before allowing anything to go thru. But they figure that out after you obtain funds that they can keep with no real reason. I’ve abided to all their information request and have patiently waited for my funds to allow them time to make sure nobody disputes any charges and yet I’m being told my balance will not be paid out or returned to my customer. DO NOT USE STRIPE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMED OUT OF YOUR MONEY

Use a different app. As much as I wanted to like stripe there are two huge red flags for me. One they put your money on hold for too long while they “verify” your account and sometimes after two weeks of waiting around they don’t approve your account and you’ll have to refund the money their policies on what is being sold are pretty strict. My second issue is that the fees the take out of your payments are HUGE I didn’t realize till tonight I’ve made $160 in recent sales and will only be receiving $143 after waiting almost a week for my money to clear. This is ridiculous stick to PayPal. I will be shutting down my account as soon as possible.

Also use to be able to see what transactions were part of the deposit, and you can no longer do that, either. FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!. This company has completely failed me in trust! I’m receiving my second payment thru stripe, and it’s been held without payout pending a review of my company for over a week. I have submitted all of the information they’ve requested and payout date gets pushed back daily. This is fraud without cause. My business falls within their guidelines and i repeat they HAVE NOT shown why my account is still in review nor how long the review would take. Its very easy for stripe to accept payments from customers but im finding it’s difficult to recieve payouts AFTER stripe has taken the money from your customer. THIS IS FRAUDULENT and misleading. If youre on the fence about using stripe, take it from a start up business owner like myself and find another avenue. Maybe theyll reply to this review better than they have my unanswered emails.

Stick with Square or Inuit Go Payment. This system does NOTHING to protect merchants. I have strict no show policy’s that clients have to sign before booking & I have access to viewing when these clients open their reminder emails that remind clients of these policies. Twice I’ve had no shows including one service done on the client claim fraudulent charges & I was forced to refund them even with all the proof I had on file. I used styleseat before this and when someone claimed fraud all I did was send the documents the client signed and they won my case within a week. These fees are also very high. Every transaction fee is different as my accountant has sat with me & we’ve gone through each individual percentage. Im finally switching to Inuit GoPayment thank god!

Don’t use stripe!. First time I used stripe was the last! Customer paid through stripe services and stripe charged me a fee for processing..that’s fine but then they decided my business didn’t meet terms..not sure why at all. They wouldn’t send the payment to my bank account nor would they refund the money to the customer unless I added funds to make up the processing fee for a service they didn’t even provide! Okay! Here’s the best part! I can’t add the $7 to the account unless I Make a wire transfer from my bank to them! The wire transfer alone is $50! It’s not even worth my time to deal with but if your just starting a business and every dollar really matters I advise you to just stay away. Stripe can just keep the money! Crooks if you ask me!

Works great for my indie business. I’ve used Stripe to collect payments for my online indie business for several years now and I really have no complaints. The only issue I’ve experienced is sometimes customers who file fraudulent chargeback claims will always win the dispute even when I submit all the required evidence so idk if Stripe does a good job with communicating with the banks on your behalf. They seem to have an extra service they offer to manage disputes and chargebacks so I will try this and hopefully it resolves my issues.

DO NOT USE. I tried to use Link by Stripe to purchase crypto. My identity verification failed for no reason and when I contacted customer support the only answer they gave me after hours of waiting was to try it again and if that doesn’t work wait 4 hours. I tried to try again and there isn’t even an option to try to verify my identity. It just says it failed and to contact support. I also tried to waiting 4 hours and it is still the same thing. Customer service is useless and I have emailed them several times after our last correspondence and no answer. I would not recommend using Stripe or Link by Stripe to anyone.

Interface is lacking. The Stripe app is easy to set up, for the most part. However, if you have more than one audience list, pay close attention when it’s time to connect Stripe to it or you’ll end up connecting Strip to your first audience and wondering where your transactions are. My biggest complaint, though, is the dashboard in the app doesn’t have all the features of the desktop dashboard, but once you get the app, you HAVE to interact with it because access to your desktop dashboard GOES AWAY. Seriously. I absolutely HATE that, and wish they would give us the option of accessing our account through a browser, which is MUCH better than their silly app.

Small Businesses owner. I really would love to give the app five stars. The reason I’m not giving five stars it’s very simple very direct. There’s no one that you can reach out to and speak with in real time when you’re having any type of a money situation with your account. For example, I tried to transfer money from a client to my business account and it wouldn’t go through. I needed those funds to secure the material for the quote that I had given. It took someone until the next day to respond via email. And in all honesty, I don’t even feel that my question was answered. Although, I appreciate they just transferred the money on my behalf. It would be really nice to have a way to communicate with someone especially for the amount of money that I’m paying for the service. The platform that I am using will be launching their own debit credit card payment service. I may be inclined to give them a try. I absolutely have to close with other than that. This is a phenomenal service.

Just a dashboard. I wish this at least enabled me to withdraw to my account from the app. It’s a good analytics tool, but not really functional unfortunately. Also if I close the app while on the search function screen and the keyboard is up, I can’t get out of the search screen the next time I open the app because it opens to the keyboard and search screen and the “X” only deletes text in the search field instead of closes the keyboard (which also hides the navigation). So even though I don’t want to search for anything, i have to type something, hit “search”, and then navigate away from search screen just to get to the rest of the app

DON’T BOTHER.. I have never dealt with a worst customer support. When you are dealing with money you need to make sure that your customer support actually helps the customer. I have been trying to get access to my needed money for over a week now. I have uploaded all the documents they need it to verify my identity so I could change my payout method since my old card was deactivated. I have reached out countless time trying to figure out what’s going on and why nothing is being done for me. They have continue to ignore me I have never dealt with anything like this. I have never been so infuriated. I am a college student and I am being paid by a company I work for and because of them I cannot even access my money that I desperately need.

I seriously love Stripe. I’ve built two SaaS companies in the last 3 years, both of which use Stripe for the underlying payment gateway. I’ll never use another platform. Their documentation is excellent, the UI is beautiful and easy to navigate, and it’s clear that their platform has been meticulously-cultivated with developers in mind. Love! I’d obviously love it if their fees were cheaper, but they’re on-par with everyone else, so can’t really complain there. Overall, very very happy with Stripe.

Misleading. Having a background in merchant services, I now concur this company is a joke. They “approve” your account while secretly it’s under review still. You’re given the green light to start taking payments/invoicing. After a couple of sales I get an email stating my account is now considered high risk, claiming this was decided after reviewing my website. Shouldn’t your underwriting team review my website before approving an account like ALL other processors do? The email also claims there were unauthorized charges by the customer. I send invoices, customers enter payment on their end to pay invoices, that’s how it works. I’d love to hear them explain how these charges were unauthorized. Based on the other reviews that all seem very similar, stay away from Stripe. If they keep holding your money, just contact your attorney general.

Keeping money from me for 3 months now. Terrible customer service. I’ve had a ticket open FOR MONTHS. They keep asking for various “authentications” which I always promptly give them. However, they still are not letting me get paid out. I’m out hundreds of dollars. And now, they are completely ignoring my emails and have just marked my ticket as resolved. They are not easy to get ahold of and I’m sure think I’ll just forget about it and let them keep my money. But as a small business owner and single mother, I really needed that. I don’t not recommend. I have been using stripe to receive payments from my landscaping app. Stripe has poor customer service, (poor is a nice word) non existent is more like it. You can only communicate through email and they never respond. I had money returned to my customers , because I have no way to receive it from stripe. And then I have to prove to my customers that it has been returned . It has been a nightmare. I have learned that I can put a link from my bank on my invoices to not have to use stripe. As a small business I depend on getting paid to keep my business operating. Stripe is taking a fee to receive the money from my customers and charging me a fee to collect it , and then ghost me when I’m asking were is my money. AVOID STRIPE

Forget this and Fundly. I’ve been trying for a couple days to fix this, but I had a friend donate money to my acc and suddenly 98 dollar from the donation isn’t going to be given to Stripe for no reason. I know they might not be the same company but the least you could do is give a warning on the Fundly because all it says is “Start a free campaign” I looked onto the Stripe FAQs and that’s when I’m informed about the fees? That’s bull, I refunded the money back but I still have to give Stripe 98 dollars for no reason, thank you, because that’s why I started a Fundly, to pay 100 for nothing. “Payments are processed quickly and can usually be withdrawn 7 days after the initial donation. Stripe will process the funds and automatically transfer the money to the bank account linked.” This is what it says, not a single word about the fees.

HORRENDOUS Customer Service and Company. Let me start by saying this - I've absolutely loved using Stripe for my Real Estate Media business the past 1.5 Years. I've had no issues up until now. Randomly, in the middle of the night, after 1.5 years of loyal, non-problematic service to them, they immediately shut down my account, as they assumed my business was too "high risk" for them. I'm a Real Estate Photographer providing a service; since when was photography a "high risk" business model? I've had over 300+ transactions with absolutely zero chargebacks over 1.5 years and they see me a "high risk" customer? What a clown show joke of a company. They have completely shafted me and my business overnight and they WILL do the same to you. Business owners BEWARE.

Read if you are a Personal trainer. The topic covers it. In a nutshell, I am a small business and I do not use or need a website. I have been accepting stripe payment for almost a year, when stripe requested a url to verify my business. Suddenly, they will only accept payment from my customers, but have decided to without my earnings while they decide if I am able to be paid, bc on this day, I, only me, needed to jump through this hoop… why the review? I did reach out to stripe via email and requesting support over the last 3 days with no response. Stripe is actively accepting all of my client weekly payments, but keeping the funds locked until I create a website my business doesn’t need, that wasn’t required until now.

Not my choice. I would never use this if I wasn’t forced to. I have one person I deal with who has made this the only option. I don’t use it with anyone else and I’d stop using it completely if it were up to me. App is barely functional. App is not user friendly. Service charges are too high. Percentage of my money that is taken for no reason as they provide zero service to me- is too high. They take a huge chunk of you money and they keep holding back my pay while offering zero ways for me to contact them in an attempt to discuss their error. It feels like they are straight up stealing and no one is doing anything about it. If you want my honest opinion with no fluff.. I HATE STRIPE

Would give more stars but…. I just started using Stripe to process school photography pre-orders and while I like the set up and the ease of use for my parents, I wish I could see a report of who paid what and for which event on the app. The purpose of pre-pay is so everyone is paid up before the shoot, but if I can’t see who paid in the event from the app at the time of the shoot, it’s not very useful. Be nice to be able to pull up the event and see a list of all the orders within it. I’m sure you can make that happen! Can’t wait to see it!

Awful customer service. I’ve been waiting for a response to my account which after 14 months of having my stripe account, they decided to freeze my funds. After updating my website to the terms and conditions they requested, no one will give me an answer on when my funds will be available. Being a small business owner I rely on every dollar especially in times like this. Once they release my funds I will never process another payment with them. I’ve already set up a merchant service account with my bank and will process with them. I was promised a call back from a supervisor today at 11 AM, and all I got was an apologetic email with no information on the status of my account. Deplorable and disappointing customer service.

Just downloaded app and it’s stuck in search window. Downloaded the dashboard app looking for some type of support chat. Hit search and typed in “deposit” and no results were found - really? Now the app is stuck in that window and even if I close it, it reopens to the same place. Also, I’m a new user and had three payments from three different customers and it shows that I have zero customers. Finally, I don’t understand the different time frames for receiving my money. First was a credit card which took 7 days - horrible, but I think that’s what the documentation said. Second payment was also a credit card - two days! I was thrilled and thought that the first one just took long because it was first. So I encouraged my next customer to use stripe - they paid via ACH - I thought that would be even faster since it’s cash. It now says estimated time is 7 days! Why in God’s name would it take 7 days to pass cash from one bank to another? If it really takes 7 days I’ll be looking for another payment processor with faster turn around. I’m paying a fee, you don’t get to float my money for a week as well!

Horrible customer service and steals clients money. I had a client sent me a payment through stripe and then they sent me an email about a dispute that my client and friend never did. Then they kept the Payment in the stripe account and when I emailed them to try to rectify the Situation they don’t respond and my client has yet get her money back and I can’t touch it either. I doubt there is an actual customer service and they falsely Flagg payments as disputes and then shut down my account with payments stuck in there 🙄. And I’ve sent emails for a week straight. NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLATFORM UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR MONEY OR CLIENTS MONEY “LOST” in limbo and no response from any customer support. Obviously if the money doesn’t go back to my client I’m this week I’ll will definitely direct her to look into legal action against the platform that stole her money. On a Fake dispute

Support could be better. Representative is amazing unfortunately they cant do much to help you so theres always a long delay to get the problem solved, they do solve it tho. Just take a few days. refund policy should be a little more simpler my customer took too long to get his refund, which end up reflecting on my results. other than that platform is nice with good interactions and great to navigate through. I do recommend stripe for low volume of transactions meaning small quantity of issues or disputes based businesses not to high volume of transactions or high volume of dispute transactions businesses. Small amount of transactions with high monetary value businesses: Yes recommended A lot of small transactions or high volume meaning over 100 transactions monthly: Nope not the best option yet. high tech, good interaction with quickbooks/crms out there, payrolls and many partnerships: Huge plus on this point. honest professional review

Beware of this company !!!’. This company is not an American based company and they are only good for small transactions. Anything big be careful it will take months to get your money. I had a credit card sale of 22k and they only processed 10k and held the rest on reserve for 60 days!! We all know no one can wait 60 days for 22k and when I called them they said out of 900 transactions 11 were refunded so I was a high risk. That doesn’t sound like a high risk to me. When I tried to speak to a manager all I could get is half spoken English people that operate in a foreign country that can control your money. Beware and do not use. Use clover it’s more for business. This is more of a personal use than anything else.

Not enough information displayed. The app would be a lot better if it showed more information about the transaction. I don't see about half the details that are showing on the website version. Even simple stuff like the client name. I'm not sure if that is a function of the cart we use and not creating customers. But I can see all of the client information on the website version, so I know it's there. Plus it doesn't stay logged in past a day or so to show notifications when payments come. And doesn't show notifications for multiple accounts even if both are logged in and switchable once in the app.

Be aware. Just got ripped off by stripe, after a customer make a mistake pay with credit card. i issued a refund I thought by doing it will avoid pay the fee. But it didn’t happen so guys be aware that if you issue a refund you all still need to pay the damned fee. They don’t care if your business didn’t work out with you customer they just want their money unfortunately i will not be using this app no more. It cost me over $1200 but will do anything to report this abuse whenever to wherever i need to go. Att unhappy customer.

Fair Business Practice Denialism Starts Here. There’s about an 88% chance these fair business practice deniers will place a hold on your account and sit on your money for a minimum of 5 months. The hold will take place after one transaction. Your attempts to get answers to particular questions will be in vain. You will spend no less than a week trying to figure out WTH is going on. Then you will, for at least a week, have negative thoughts surrounding your encounter this invisible foe, one that you have let become somewhat formidable because you trusted them with a little money. You will say, Omg I should have listened to the guy who seemed like he was overreacting in his app review—it really is that bad.” If you are a small business, you must first ask yourself: How long can I go without getting this money? Negative thoughts about these people during the 5 months your waiting for your cash isn’t worth it. Your spouse partner doesn’t want to here it, neither do your employees. If you do, I’ll be looking for your review soon.

No business protection against scamming clients. This by far has to be one of the most frustrating things about using stripe. It allows the customer to dispute charges that they DID make and then charges you a fee because the customer did that. With the service I provide the client has to enter their card info themselves. After they receive my service WHY would stripe ALLOW them to dispute the charge to get the money used to pay for the service and ALSO charge me a fee on top of that! So I’m paying stripe monthly to give my money back wrongfully, ask me to give reason why it shouldn’t be disputed just to go in favor of the person who VOLUNTARILY purchased a service. That makes so sense and business wise it does more harm then help

Solid Service - Cost Effective. We’ve been using Stripe for processing for 7 years now, integrated through website for payments. Solid capabilities, added features that allow you to grow your business and keep control of your payments & money. I’ve found their fees to be very competitive especially with an operation that other processors see as a moderate to high-risk company. We are 100% card payments for our sales. There’s a reason USA Today has Stripe rated #1. We trust Stripe with our processing.

There are better options! Intentional Incompetence!. They stopped my payouts without notice stating they needed additional information. I’ve been using Stripe for months. Suddenly my payouts are stopped without notice! It’s been over a week! For a small business this can be devastating. We’re approaching potentially needing litigation! Week 3 and they still won’t send my payout! They continue to request voided checks. I’ve submitted a voided check 10 times! Twice with their support on the phone who confirmed seeing the check! A couple of hours later I receive an email stating that I need to submit a voided check! I then received an email stating that I needed to submit a letter 147C from the IRS. Keep in mind these requests were made after my payments were suspended!

Stripe Money Can Disappear Into A Cyber Black Hole. Thought I would test out this platform to see how well I could integrate it into my current e-commerce solutions. A payment was made through Stripe confirmed on the senders account as paid and is showing paid on my ends as well. The transaction was completed in Dec 2021.. It is now August 2022 and I am still trying to get Stripe to release those funds to my account for transfer and I keep getting the run around. I’m just glad I had the sense to test the platform (all be it with real $) before I actually switched it to a live environment for my self or on behalf of any of my clients. Be warned they may just steal your money as they have stolen my funds!!!

Do not link to your bank. This was a payment method that Squarespace, my small business website, required if you wanted to allow consumers to use a credit card. I set it up on my computer and it suggested a two-step authorization process, which I did because I want my money to be safe. The system took me through setting up all my bank information, so it has all my banking passwords, but now it will not allow me to authenticate! I have no access to Stripe and no way to reset any passwords! Also, as I was setting up the commerce, none of the invoices I sent by way of my Squarespace app was linked into Stripe so how could a client pay an invoice?!?

Edit: fixed Bug - stuck on search bar. Update: by entering anything into the search bar and pressing return will cause the keyboard to go away so you can access other items on the menu. Everything else is great! I’m on a search page and the only thing available to select is a gear icon. From there I press Done and it goes back to the search bar. The search bar will not minimize to select other pages on the app. When I force shut down the app it reopens back at the search bar. Frustrating and worthless.

Terrible. The turn around time for your payments say 2 day’s but you’ll definitely be waiting 4 days AND THIS IS NOT INCLUDING WEEKENDS I KNW HOW BUSINESS HOURS WORK AND AS I SAID THE TURN AROUND TIME IS A JOKE! , not to mention I’m about to have to delete my whole website and build it else where because it’s clear for you to update your billing information when they want their $10-$20 a month but there’s no way for me to update my bank information to receive my money to the correct card because it’s got to be the modt unimportant thing to stripe. They can go to hell the last time I had to get someone on the phone to update my bank info now they don’t even have a number to call you guys stay blessed in hell taking peoples money but not helping them get theirs.

Don’t do it!. Took over six months to resolve the issue that involves $360 that I didn’t know was in a Stripe account.I use the Invoice app to do transactions and stripe was a middleman for money transactions and transferral of deposits. Stripe set on $360 for six months and didn’t let me know that this money was available to me. When I tried to challenge and get the money sent to my account they came up with a lot of excuses why I had to verify who I was in my business and what I was doing in order to receive my funds. It took me to contact a lawyer and contact the Kansas City prosecutor office to see that this was a fraudulent procedure within their department. When I inform stripe of their error they quickly addressed the issue and reimbursed my $360 back to my bank account. I would avoid this company at all cost.

Closure my account and fund gone away. Im comopays owner i have 2 companies in uk the first account was blocked and my business are legal and accepted after while they blocked my account and my money there didn’t refunded to my client and didn’t given to me by bank and all days contacted them didn’t answer 1 month all days I i didntget any response the second one use it and stop for holiday that’s mean I didn’t receive and payment they emailed me about block my account I upload all documents they want all of them no way to activate and the problem they didn’t answer support why why and why my money didn’t given to me and didn’t refunded to my client. They are thieves

HORRIBLE. App barely works, it’s ONLY good for in person sales with a credit card. Any other type of payment will be held for MONTHS. They have held my payments while trying to “VERIFY” my website. My website is through a 3rd party website market and they couldn’t verify me for over 2 months now. People in there business keep dropping the ball and they have a HORRIBLE customer service system. The average response time from customer service was about 1-2 WEEKS !!! At this point they’ve LOST me more money than they’ve help me make. I can’t even move forward making sales because they keep putting my case on the back burner saying “we’ll get back to you” but then ONLY reach out with a email saying “your case has been resolved” when it NEVER was. This company is horrible and their THEIFS!!!!

Will hold your funds for weeks. I disabled Stripe after 3 weeks of asking them to release my payouts with no explanation as to why my funds from my services are being held. I provided them my company’s EIN and LLC documentation 3 weeks ago and they still have not released my payout. I have sent emails almost everyday and no one can give me a reason to why they are holding my funds. All they tell me is my account is being reviewed and I should receive payout in 2 business days and it’s been 3 weeks and they are still holding my money. If you’re a new business and need your funds from sales to maintain your business don’t use Stripe…go with Square they release my funds the next business day with no fees!!!

Horrible. If I could give them negative stars I would. They fail to disclose when you are giving them the bank account information that regardless of the payment type the hold for the initial payment is 7-10 business days even if paid with a credit card. They also fail to inform you that if you issue a refund due to this the customer will not receive their refund until you still pay the service fee after being told by customer service that I spoke with for almost 30 minutes in addition to the refusal of being transferred to a supervisor or someone in the US. They demonstrated very poor customer service and business practice. I own my own business and would never dream of being so misleading with my customers.

Works but. I have multiple accounts I need to access daily in the app it has options to switch accounts but only shows one account causing me to have to login out of one then login into another why can’t I just add the account stay logged in and just switch between the two I’m using separate emails issue one second can’t seem to charge tax through mobile txt or email request to pay. Yes I have taxes set up it charges when paid through website. My two issues otherwise 4 stars 5 stars if fees was lower lol.

Customer support is horrid.. Second day being a strip user, ordered the hardware and tried to connect it to this app but apparently you need to call customer support in India and they can’t actually help you. Their team will help you in 2 days, maybe today but within two days. I was coming from square and their app just works, get reader, pair with app and done. No team to help. I then got an email telling me that stripes terminal is for developers and they gave me a list of 3rd party apps to download to take payments, excuse me what? Why wouldn’t THIS app be able to take payments ? Maybe that’s what the two day team is for. Then I said to the guy in India that this doesn’t sit well with me so I’d like to return the $80 worth of reader and dock and just get my money back, I’ll stay with square…. Apparently I also need a team for that — a two day team. So the customer support guy isn’t actually customer support, he’s just a buffer. So I don’t know who I talked to but it wasn’t anyone that could help me and it’s been a few hours and no one has responded back since. I think stripe might be a scam.
