Pantry stuffer!. I have tried several kinds of apps to keep from wasting money and food with little to no success, the ease of entering all the junk I have on hand was amazing walked through the grocery store and added as I put in the cart! Almost everything scans sometime it goes in a different group but that’s easy to fix. Still a few things I need to figure out but overall it is crazy useful! Going to do my liquor cabinet next so when someone wants a crazy drink I know If I can make it!

Really thought this was the one. This really was looking like exactly what we needed to organize and track our home pantry shelves. You can scan the barcode of items to add them to the list and track the stock, and there are shopping and expiring lists. But it’s just fluff. None of it works the way I expected it to (I hoped it would). There is no way to set a threshold amount to trigger an item to appear on the shopping lists. The only way I see for an item to even potentially show up there is to either click Restock manually on each item or to click Finish on the item - which removes it completely from inventory. And you’d expect that perhaps the Auto Generated shopping list would pick up these Finished items (you can’t use this for Restock because you have to enter the list to restock), but there doesn’t seem to be any discernible pattern I could see to what it puts on that list - usually it’s just empty. I was ready to pay for this app and give it 5 stars; on the surface I thought I had finally found the app we needed for home pantry tracking. As it stands, it just seems like a tool that gets in your way instead of solving the problem.

Not very fat finger friendly. I got this app because my household went from 3 adults to only me overnight. All of a sudden, I had so much food in my pantry and refrigerator! I had to learn new ways to eat healthy and not waste food, especially fresh fruits and veggies. This app really filled my need. It is labor intensive at first, but once you get the routine down, the rhythm flows. My biggest complaint is that there is no “undo” button for inventory or shopping lists. I am constantly erasing entries by accident because of my clumsy fingers. The sliding gage that you set the %used is too close to the “finished” button. It takes more time to have to re-set up the product in my inventory again than it would to just reverse the last action (as when editing a photo of a new product). My second complaint is that when you enter a new food item and assign a new location, it automatically assigns the food category, and it’s not always what I would have selected. I have to do a separate search for the item that I just set up to figure out how the app classified it. If it showed me the automatic classification before transferring it into inventory , I could have the chance to edit the category to what I wanted it to read before I added it to inventory. I really like the app and purchased the upgrade. It has helped me cut down on impulse or duplicate food buying and food waste from spoilage. Both have allowed me to save a significant amount of money on my budget.

Great app to keep stock of food. Got the app during covid as I started stocking up on everything. This one helps me stay on top of what I have and don’t so I don’t over buy the same groceries. I like the interface - looks clean and organized and like the options to create your own items, edit food pictures etc. very customizable. Wish the limit would be a bit more for free and for first level of payment plan. Or would be nice to have a one time price instead of a subscription plan, which always deters me from signing up. Perhaps something for developers to consider. Next level would be a way to create recipes with pantry items, I now use a different app for that.

Best Pantry App Yet. Great app, but my feature request would be the ability to have along side “Expired”, also “Best Before”, since some items don’t have “Expiration Dates”. I really do appreciate the scan database as there weren’t many items that didn’t pull up. One suggestion would be to allow to edit the item before saving it (e.g Outline, Patch, Erase). Currently you have to save it and later go back to edit it. That makes the cloud repository loaded with unedited photos (some from other users).

Great organization app with a few inconvenient bugs. This app is great for keeping track of my day to day shopping list. I wish it would stack like items together better. It also puts all of an item in one location, even though I had the item split in another location, wish they would fix that. But overall a great app, that saves a lot of time organizing my pantry. The ability for this app to be shared to other family members would also be nice, I have to export the list to my husband, but if it was linked to another user it would be great.

Finally! I’ve needed this my whole life!. I travel for work, so we often buy in bulk, as opposed to shopping everyday or week(like normal people). Often after being away, I couldn’t remember what we actually had when I did go shopping. We had doubles and triples of some things, and none of others. We recently had to move all of our food and cosmetics out of the house to have it treated for termites. Upon “moving” back in, I scanned everything into this app. I’m in love. I can customize locations, which I am obsessed with, and finally keep track of everything in this whole house! This app is a Godsend. This would be great for yacht crews, or anyone with large household. Basically, anyone who has stuff, needs this app.

Amazing App. This app seamlessly helps you manage your home inventory so that you minimize food waste. It automatically lets you add to your home inventory right at the grocery store, so you don’t have to add things manually when you get home. It helps you track spending, and helps you track quantity levels so you know when to restock. It lets you restock before the item is done. It also gives you reminders for food that is about to expire. Amazing app, user-friendly, and visually appealing.

Best kitchen app ever!. Amazing app! I’ve tried so many ways to manually track my kitchen inventory over the years so that I could use things before they go bad. In the end those methods all failed because they were in list form or were too annoying to maintain. The fact that this app allows item images (and allows you to see your items as if you are browsing them in your actual pantry or an online store) makes it incredibly fast and easy to use. I love that it syncs to multiple devices so that regardless of who is doing the grocery shopping, we know exactly what is in the kitchen. I also really love that I can adjust how much I have left of each item. Overall a fantastic app that I wish I had found sooner. I plan to be a long-term premium subscriber after the free trial! Some suggestions that I’d love to see happen: - new Uncategorized location so that I can easily re-allocate things that didn’t get sorted - a way to edit reminders (for example if something is expired but almost gone, I might want to move it to “use soon” instead of “expired”) - a storage plan between premium and pro (5000 items or thereabouts)

Great way to track pantry. This is a quick and easy way to keep track of food inventory, quantity, purchase dates and expire dates. Very easy to add, move and adjust with barcode scanning and well thought of UI with photos of labels for easy identification. Your inventory is only as good as you make it, so use list and scan as you shop as well as finish while you are cooking or using up items to make it easier. Use/share multiple phones so everyone has access to lists and what’s used or on-hand. Very good design, customizable and usable. subscription is reasonable $12 yr for 2000 items. $1 month for easy organizing.

Great interface but.... This app is the best in class but you can only use it on your phone or iPad. I thought this wouldn’t matter but when you’re managing a lot of food that you don’t want to go to waste (since that’s throwing money in the garbage) it really doesn’t work out in the long run. You can’t log into your account from a browser and there is no desktop app. The longer I use this app this factor becomes more of a hardship. When I go to reconcile what I have with what I need to plan to buy I find that I’m having to just use something else from my desktop so I can ensure I have everything for my months worth of meal planning. While I love the stability of this app (I have a paid version) I’m going to have to move on if I can’t just login from a browser to get a bigger view.

Simply the best but I sure can be better.. I cannot express how much this app had made me save tons of spoil cans and pantry goods. It is so amazing I now have all my belongings inside my phone so I can reach that accurate info every time time I need to. No more doubles or forgotten shopping lists. Really Get this and pay for the PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP it SURE PAYS!!! I only hope the developers think: 1. We REALLY NEED TO get CONTROL pf CATEGORIES, come on!! We really need to sort by our choice. 2. Having paid my Premium membership I really WOULD LOVE to organize my BEACH Home as well. So please!! Let us CREATE a Second Home. 3. Check that NEW ITEM CREATION every time I create one, Yes it lets me upload my picture but when I want to edit it it always says ONLY THE CREATOR CAN EDIT THE PICTURE, and it is mine!! Please fix it. 4. Keep it up, guys! You are making our household life more easier and joyful. ;)

Great Tool!. Since COVID-19 cleared grocery shelves, I’ve started keeping a bit of extras around... just a few extra cans or whatever each time I shop so I’ve got a little buffer in the house. This helps me feel I’ve got a handle on what’s in my ‘second pantry’ which in turn also helps me feel I’m less likely to waste food/keep past expiration. I’ve found a lot of items if scanned day of purchase the app will estimate their expiration date very close to actual in many cases! I also find the app easy to learn, quick to scan items in/out, and overall I am very pleased!

Very useful in a Pandemic!. Wish it had more features like looking up by item to see how much has been consumed over a particular date range. Also being able to enter items you don’t have but want - like a wish list...Grocery does this but I’d like to be able to see how much of something I use over time and also a list of what my essential standard pantry items are and how much I have. And keeping personal notes about items would be helpful too - whether We liked it or don’t want to purchase again in future.

Incredible App!. I never thought I could be this organized and it’s so easy!!!! I simply scan my groceries as I unload them. That simple! You get pictures of the items and the app learns what categories and where they are located (like garage freezer, pantry, etc ) If you doubt getting this app, I can tell you it has saved me so much money from buying duplicate items and even throwing out food!! BTW you can put expiration dates and it will keep track!!! Have you ever started a recipe thinking you have all the ingredients and find out you don’t? Not anymore! You will know before you start to cook. It’s totally affordable and it’s so nice to know what I have on hand with the ability to keep track of what you’ve used, add things to your grocery list, and take your list with you to the store!!!! So easy!!

I love this app!!!. It’s so great when you’re working on something, you think “is there an app for that“ and you go find one. And then that app is so perfect that every time you think “I wish it did…“, you find that it already does! Soyou don’t spend any time comparing it to a different app because you already love it, and you want to give them money whether or not you need to, because they came up with such a great app!

Amazing. Just started using this app and I must say it is going to save my household lots of money! One suggestion I have is incorporating recipes with the app based on what is in our pantry! I’d definitely pay extra for a feature like that!! Already shared the app with other people as well!! Love how it shows the actual item picture and not just a list of words, as well as categorizes everything. Also, love how you can take pictures of items if you don’t already have them!

Currently freezing when I create a new item. I’ve used this app for over 2 years and really love it, but lately every time I want to create a new item without a barcode, like a home cooked meal, the entire app freezes, doesn’t save the item, then I need to close out of the app and try again for it to maybe finally work after 8 times of trying it. I’m really hoping it’s a bug fixed with the next update because I’ve never had this issue before and it’s been getting quite frustrating. Everything else has been working just fine with the app, scanning barcodes, adding already saved items, but it simply does not cooperate when I create a new item, and if that’s not fixed I may have to consider switching to a new app, which I really don’t want to do. I’m still giving 4 stars because I’ve used it for so long and love everything else about the app.

Better than quite a few other apps.. I really needed to be able to share the list, budget for cost, manage expirations, and reuse previously configured items. I got like 99% of that. I can’t use photos in my camera roll that I have painstakingly edited to be consistent and fill the image space. And I can’t control the categories in such a way that I can put them in order of my typical walking path. That said, this app appears to be superior to the alternatives. It doesn’t do taxes but that’s not really a harsh negative. As long as I can track general cost I’m good. Those would be my three requests in order: camera roll access, category control, tax tracking.

Easy to use, no ads and a good app overall!. It’s a good app so far. I’ve been trying to get our apartment under control and this app has given me a better idea of how things are stocked and help me get a better idea of what’s up. The plans are very affordable, you can do 200 items free, no ads, and you can get started without setting up an account to check it out first. Loved that feature and part of what drew me into successfully setting it up. The camera editing could be a bit better, but it’s pretty good for what kind of app it is.

This EXACTLY what I’ve been searching for!!!. What a godsend!! I cannot tell you how many inventory apps I have tried before I found this!! First and foremost, there are instructions that are clear and so helpful for this Grandma!!! I have so much trouble trying to remember what I have and what I need, and have so many things that have gone to waste because they’ve expired. I have purchased a years subscription which, to me is worth it with the savings of wasting $$ on things I already have. I am beyond happy and am quite sure you will be too!!! Give it a try!!

Love love love this app BUT...... This is a wonderfully done & oh SO needed app to control pantry items, without $$$ loss from expiration dates & food spoilage. PLEASE, pretty pretty please DEVELOPERS, allow same items to have more than one location!!! Many of us have a working pantry we need to track BUT also a bulk storage pantry. For example... we have baking supplies (flour) in everyday working pantry BUT store additional quantities of unopened flour in our bulk pantry, a separate location. Some may store batteries in different locations, due to their intended device usage, etc. These are just two examples, but I’m finding this to be a HUGE PROBLEM to “accurately” keep inventory. If you would PLEASE remedy this, & your app would be a 10⭐️. Your app has been a life changer SO I’m not opposed to begging... PLEASE oh PLEASE😬

Fabulous tracker. I’ve used this for over a year and absolutely love it. I first tried a few others and this is by far the easiest. Adding products is easy and marking them used is fast. Most food items are already loaded, even store brands. If not it easy to add products. I also love that you can add locations and track non food items as well. I paid for the upgrade and it is worth every penny. It’s so easy to access while shopping to see what I have at home. I’ve repeatedly recommended to friends and people in my Facebook groups.

Great for pantry tracking!!!. We have overflow shelves downstairs & a chest freezer. Being out of sight, out of mind, it’s difficult to remember what’s available. With this app, I’ve been able to scan 95% of our items with all of them being found & have that handy when shopping. One suggestion would be to add a “-“ next to the “+” in the header bar so that items could be scanned out of inventory just as they can be scanned in. It sounds simple but would be nicer than finding the item when you want to move it out of long term storage.

Shopping Module Nightmare. While the pantry inventory is robust, bordering on overkill, shopping is awkward to say the least. 1) assigning a purchase to a store must be done AT the store. 2) Without user access to app’s store database, no corrections allowed when you get home 3) don’t mistakenly check an item off a shopping list, ‘cuz you can’t undo the mistake. Must return to Inventory, Restock, Assign to List from scratch 4) no user access to purchase history by store, item or other. So no method for comparison shopping. 5) user should be able to create store-linked list to the app’s stores database. Shopping seems an afterthought, when it should be yin to inventory yang. Barcoding in real time is not always ideal, so more flexibility to the shopper is surely in order.

Best Home Food Inventory App. This sucker has everything I’ve ever wanted in an inventory app. The barcode scanner works great. You can scan multiple items in one go, add expiration dates (though it has estimates based on the item), plus you can mark the percentage used of the product. I’m hoping to eliminate food waste with the notifications and stop buying items when I already have something hidden in the back of the pantry. It also has categories for household and beauty items. There is a monthly cost once you have more than 200 items logged but it’s minimal.

Great organizational tool!. Just what I’ve been looking for! Love to be able to scan items in and the photo editing app is a breeze! My only real complaint so far has to do with categories. I can’t put a carrot in more than one location so even though I have some in my kitchen and some I. The basement, it won’t recognize that. Additionally ally, I can’t expand the categories so like soups and stocks are stuck together whether I actually keep them together or not. I’d like to be able to edit and create my own categories. Otherwise, I am really enjoying the app and even the kids can help add/remove items. Oh but that reminds me that I would also like to be able to invite family on their own devices without them having to use my log in! Then I could track who added or removed items.

Seems very efficient. I have been using this app for a short amount of time. There is at least one feature that I believe most everyone would find helpful to have added…the ability to indicate items (or a portion of the item) that are already going to be used in planned meals. I do my meal planning on Wednesday, put together my grocery order for pickup on Saturdays (if not done early I don’t get the time slot needed based upon my work schedule). I found myself having to review what my meal plans are to make sure that items in my freezer or pantry are not needed for a recipe. The other feature which I know would benefit me and perhaps a few others is if it would integrate with eMeals and my WalMart grocery app (don’t expect this as it would require a lot of coordination between many different companies as you couldn’t just go with one grocery order app or meal planning app).

Amazing app but.... Let me start by saying this app is amazing, it really helped me save some money from not buying the same thing over and over. I love the scan thing cause even at the store if I’m thinking of getting it I scan it and the app lets me know I already have that in the pantry. The one suggestion I would make is if they could somehow implement different languages. Since I share the app with girlfriend and her first language is Spanish she gets a little confused when looking for certain things. But other than that I think this is the best app to manage what you got in the fridge and in the pantry. Definitely saves money

Exactly what I needed!. I’ve been looking for a smartly designed app to help me keep track of food and household goods—with a barcode scanner and lots of features that didn’t take forever to learn. ***PANTRY CHECK is just that!*** The barcode scanner is perfect, and the categories of food, expiration, and storage location make organization logical and simple. I love how I can find a list of all my foods that are expiring without having to spend precious time looking at every can on the shelf every few months. I also greatly appreciate that because my inventory is always on my phone (with product pictures, too!), I can have this list with me all the time—no more brain freeze at the grocery store as I try to remember how many cans of chicken I have on the shelf! This app is definitely worth trying at the free level (200 items stored) to see if you want/need more storage (2k or 10k items). ***Worth noting: your items stored are whatever is active/current in your home, so if you scan in 5 cans of green beans but then use all 5 cans in a casserole, you delete (“finish”) that product entry and Pantry Check deletes 5 items from your active storage number. ***Some smart people designed this app, and they deserve 5 stars!

Love Pantry!. This is lifesaver! I used to buy duplicates all of the time. I cook lots of different kinds of cuisine and stock a wide variety of exotic and hard to find ingredients. Food in the pantry would expire, especially things I didn’t use often. Then, when I needed something for a recipe, I would find that it was too old to be used. Or, not realizing I already had a necessary ingredient, I would order it and find it was already in the pantry. Now, I read a recipe and immediately look up any uncommon ingredients to see if I have them.

Great Help for the Perpetually Disorganized. I thought wouldn’t it be great to have an app that would help me track all the various and scattered groceries I have in my house, so I could know what I have, but only what I need in the moment, and stop throwing out stuff that expires? Thank goodness for Pantry Check! I love the abilities right at the start, but would like some flexibility to embrace my disorganization. For instance, I’d like to be able to have different categories of the same food be able to be in multiple locations. I have refried beans upstairs while regular beans are in the basement. Right now I have no set categories for any location, and that allows me to locate things where I have them. And I have a bug to report, I think. I’ve had a few items scan as new/unknown products. Each time after I used the camera to take a picture of the product, I can’t return to scanning because the camera image is frozen. I’ve had to close the app and reopen to resume scanning. I love this app, and can’t wait to get it fully up and running for our household!

Great for forgetful shoppers. Whenever something is on sale at the grocery store, I stock up without checking how much I already have. This app has single-handedly kept my pantry from overflowing with 1000 sale items. The free version probably supports enough items for anyone who lives alone, and I love that I can add new items to the database quickly and easily. Overall a great UI that is very easy to use, highly recommended!

The app I never knew I needed. One day when I sat down to try to better organize my life I was searching apps this looked interesting. Downloaded and started playing with it. Before long I had entered in my home items. Created lists for each of the stores I shop at. It took some mental training to remind myself to delete items when I used them, now it is second nature delete it when I use it and add it to the grocery list. Now if I am at the store and wondering do I have green peppers I check the app, can see when I bought them and how many I have. So long story short. I love it.

Upgrade UI. I like this app. It’s far greater than others and I’ve tried them all but i really hate how old it looks. It’s hard to tell the locations apart quickly so I had to remove some extra’s that I had (toilet paper cleaning supply tracking ) Now i keep it strictly food. Please modernize this app I beg you Please add a feature that allows you remove photos.. It takes up a lot of space on the screen and I’d rather see more items than less. For example for spices and seasonings... I don’t care what brand spices I have I just care whether it’s in stock or I need to buy more, so for that I would turn off the photos for. It’s distracting. Everything else is perfect as far as the features inside thank you

Awesome app. I was doing some after Christmas organizing and realized how much waste I had and wondered if someone ever had the idea to create a pantry app...enter in Pantry Check. My daughter loved helping me scan all of the items and I’m hopeful this will help me to eliminate all of the unnecessary waste. I had 5 bottles of Italian dressing and 9 cans of cream of chicken for crying out loud lol. A nice addition would be to possible add in a way to put together recipes with what you have but know that would be a more intensive request and there are apps out there for that either way. I’m stoked to have found this. Thank you for creating such a unique and useful app

Great in some ways, frustrating in other ways. In some ways I LOVE this app!!...once I set up my pantry system. But....I wish I could make my own category names. I can’t recall an example at this time and it’s just a nuisance. I personally can do without categories but that’s me. I’d love to have a sub-location category. But now that I’m constantly improving my system, I might be fine the way it is. What I’d really like to see is an ability to group locations so it’s not a huge long list. I have 7 shelving units in my pantry with 4 shelves each. Each individual shelf is a location. I’d love to be able to group each shelving unit instead of seeing 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-1...etc. The other big thing that I don’t like is I want to have “rooms” without getting everything grouped together. My pantry is downstairs. I want a separate thing for the kitchen. I’d also love to organize my bathroom and storage area (I know, they’re not food areas). I’m thinking about buying another account for the kitchen but that would be on the iPad so I don’t have to switch emails constantly. I just solved the kitchen problem now I have to find a good app for the other areas of the house. As I said, I love this app but I wish I could have separate rooms with their own locations.

Does not sync with multiple devices. Have been using this app for almost two years and pay for the subscription. We like it a lot. However, it does not sync with multiple devices. For example, if one person in the house updates the app to remove an item, the other person still sees it in inventory. Even weeks later, the other person will get notification that the item is expiring when in fact the item doesn’t even exist any longer. This causes counts to be way off, so much frustration and makes it almost pointless. We have since started using another app that does sync between multiple members of the house but really none are quite as good as this one. This has a great interface and is easy to use. A smart design. PLEASE FIX the sync issue to allow multiple members of the house to update the inventory! If you do, then 5 stars for sure.

Amazing. Truly an app worth its money. Once I began to use, I could not stop. This app allows you to take an inventory of every consumable product available. Within minutes you can scan dozens of items, all without worrying over your progress being destroyed. Your data syncs to all you devices instantly. I highly recommend for keeping a data base for all your consumable goods, even in our highly consumer oriented society. You never now what you need when you are at the store, so bring your pantry with you.

BEST APP!!! FREE AND Organized!. I always wanted something to help me keep track of the food in my house and fridge and here it is! Simple easy to use! You can even add your own home cooked meals and take pictures of them to see whAt you always have in your fridge live! Super useful at the store even reminds you when things expire so you don’t end up throwing away spoiled food and money out of your pocket! Best is to peak in your fridge once or twice a day and update it when you can take less than 1 minute to make sure all your groceries are in stock fresh and up to date! Thank you to whoever made this app! It has made my life so much easier !

Amazing app- I have a request. I got this app after discovering I was accidentally hoarding food. I have limited kitchen space and could never tell how much I had of something, be it in the cabinets or freezer. I still have to add my freezer items actually. I would just keep buying stuff out of fear I was out of it. But I was wondering if there could be a way to see items that were deleted/used? I feel like that could help me keep track of what I have used as well. But that is just individual preference. I used a few things already and couldn’t remember if I removed them or not. If I saw them in a used/deleted list then I’d know. Not sure if that’s useful to others or just me.

All in One Solution for Food Inventory!. I've written many reviews on various platforms for products, services and applications. Pantry Check has been the most integrated into my daily life in our family. Whether you are on a budget, trying to organize or just hate finding food you forgot all about - this app covers all the bases. Easily you can barcode all of the items in your pantry, storage or cabinets, add quantities and expiration dates. From there you can assign locations so you know where your food is : basement, garage, etc. If you use it, go to the overall list and barcode it. Click it off and done. I can't say enough good things about it. The app development and support team are outstanding, extremely pleasant and very helpful. Dealing with them makes me think "Amex, Bose, or Apple," level quality of care in the way I've been treated. Top tier of all customer service experiences I've ever had without any reservation. Paying for the yearly service is definitely worth it in my opinion if you are going to be tracking a large amount of items. The devs support family sharing and I can attest that if my wife makes a change I see it in real time. There are so many more features I have not even touched on as I continue to learn more and more each time I use it. I assure you this will not disappoint. If there was a way to give it more stars I would. Stay safe and be well...

Not what I thought it would be. Just got this app today and now I have to delete it. I was so excited to download it. I started scanning everything in my pantry and was like finally an app that my family can use to see what we have on hand and what we need. Then I hit 250 items and it stopped my progress unless I spend $12 a year for storage. No where is this mentioned. Before downloading. I spent two hours organizing and scanning only to realize I can go no further. We have a large family and 200 items is not enough space. I don’t even know if 2,000 items is enough space. That costs $12 a year. I know people need to make money but this detail should be in the description somewhere.

The best thing ever!!! It’s like Yodlee or Mint but for your pantry. I am so grateful to have found this app. It is so helpful! What I don’t like is that bread, canned, yogurt, vegetables and a couple of others are not showing up on the Expiring page. I’d like to see everything expiring soon within one month on that page, and in order of closest to expiring, especially because I don’t have a huge family to feed and have items in big quantities sometimes that I need more than a week to consume. For now I will have to look over my inventory to see what is expiring soon but not listed on the expiring page. Definitely am going to buy a year subscription, even though I could use only the 200 item limit for a free account... I feel this is an app that I can pay for even if I don’t need the extra item tracking storage.

Easy & Efficient Pantry Views at a Glance. Pantry Check is simple, fast and allows me to organize everything in my pantry, refrigerator and freezer in easy to see categories and timelines (great to know what items I should use up first). It scans barcodes but also allows me to enter in locally sourced items. I use it on my iPad at home and on my iPhone everywhere else. Convenient, nothing gimmicky, clear displays and easy editing. I was surprised by the amazing support from Sunroom Labs — I accidentally wiped my inventory during a reboot and the General Manager responded to my “Help!” email just 2-3 hours later. Expected it to take days if. It weeks to hear back from someone. He also continued to help me find a solution, always with extremely fast response times. I do recommend registering with an email, it makes it easier to use across multiple platforms.

Trouble at the store. The wheel wouldn’t stop spinning at the store when the app got hung up with “locating store”. I didn’t even want it to do so but iit didn’t give me a choice. Instead it kept spinning and I couldn’t get past it (all other buttons were greyed out) so I couldn’t see my shopping list that I needed! Tried to reboot the app which brought it back to where it was stuck. Finally had to reboot my phone but now the app icon is missing from my App Library and I can only see the app and get it to open at apple’s application store! So no way to access the darn icon! So much for all that time scanning and inputting so many unfound/new products. I really wanted to like this app and I’m on the trial period so I can’t see feeling confident in paying for this app!

I Know What I Have. I learned to stock up and shop ahead from my mother. I never stopped. The pandemic hit. We now have long reaching supply chain problems. Everything has changed. If you can your own food, you can use this. If you shop - if you eat - you can use this! Your Inventory is the key. You will never wonder if you are out of something when you get to the store again. You don’t waste because you didn’t need something but bought it because you didn’t know. You can track prices across stores so fast. Everyone in the house helps by keeping up on the app and it costs nothing extra for them to do it. This is such a comprehensive app! It does so much automatically. So impressive, I can hardly believe that men were involved in creating it! (Sorry, guys, but other than eating, groceries aren’t ordinarily your wheelhouse.) All jokes aside, it really is the best app I have, and the only one I would pay for. You will save time and money. EXCELLENT APP!

Email address is case sensitive. After using several weeks, my log password stopped working for no reason. Tried resetting password several times and never received any emails. All my inventory is gone and all the hard work is wasted. Updates: I was told that your email address can be case sensitive. So that was the issue. When I first registered, my email address starts with a capital letter! Just discovered that the app is also available for an iPad with full screen! That’s a plus star for me!

I’ve tried others - this is the best. Others have low inventory and want you to manually add so much info. There is a community feature where if you have an item the server doesn’t have - you update it for everyone and it happens a lot less frequently. It also has great categorizing and sorting features. I like to sort mine by expectation when I am looking for inspiration for meal planning. I will change the sort feature to by item type if I want to know if I have something. When I meal plan using this app - I need less groceries. And I will delete items while meal prepping (or end of week referencing my meal prep). So, it isn’t a daily chore.

Love it but needs a few more functionalities. I used this app awhile ago and then stopped because it was missing some important things. I just downloaded it again it and it’s still slightly lacking. The biggest is that I would love to have tags - I need to be able to sort by characteristics like, “foods kids will eat” and “all proteins” etc etc. Second, I’d like to be able to customize the categories. Any chance the developers are planning either of those things? Or maybe it’s possible and I just missed it?

The best in its category. I’ve tried a bunch of these grocery inventory manager apps and so far, this has the best and most intuitive UX - I like the quick add option so I can just photograph and barcode tag things as I get them home from the store, and come back to add detailed info later. Compared to other ones which have a low maximum for their free version, I haven’t run out of space yet for my usual stocks. I’d love for there to be a bit more barcode recognition (maybe tie into another nutrition API?) and being able to pin favourite categories so I don’t have to keep searching for a list, but this is the most trustworthy and smooth apps that I’ve used. Props to the developer and I hope you keep improving the already great app.

Excellent! I have been waiting for an app like this for years!. This app works so well at entering my food stock! I have common problems….expired food, buying double and triple of items because I forget if I have it, or it’s in the downstairs pantry that I need but don’t see often enough! It allows many locations….I have 10+ locations such as fridges, freezers, cupboards, basement, laundry area, etc. I like to have one in the kitchen pantry and 2 in the basement pantry. During the day I will glance at the freezer stock and think about dinner ideas…..it’s amazing! It’s worth every penny!!

Amazing app. Would highly recommend.

Making my life so much easier. My favourite feature so far is having the app downloaded to multiple devices for all family members. My daughter and I can scan together which makes moving things into the pantry very quick. My partner can see what we have on hand before he purchases it again at the store. I wanted an app like this because we had 6 boxes of onion soup mix and 4 bags or dried oregano. We never really know what we have at home or how much so we “bought just in case”. I want o be able to cut back on what we buy and use what we have and I think this app is just what we needed. I also appreciate how many items have already been loaded and the ease of loading new items.

The BEST!. I never write reviews, but I love this app! It is fast and easy to enter items, and quick to see what needs to be used. I am not a tech person, and I quickly understood how this works. So far the only thing I wish it could do (I probably just haven’t figured out how yet) is to enter multiples of an item. Right now I have to save the item, then increase the amount. I wish there was an option in the edit page as I’m entering details to increase quantity.

Great barcode scanner. I use this app to make grocery list. I really like the way you can add details to new unrecognized items from a barcode scan. Quick, easy and inventory is community supported with pictures. Really perfect!

It’s great. Does everything really well. Love the ability to indicate that it’s partially full. My suggestions: 1) if you hit finish on something, shouldn’t it suggest to add to shopping list? 2) add store locations even if you’re at home… when you’re in the store, you don’t think about doing that -> then it could know when I’m in the store and remind me to open my list / expiring items

Way too complicated for my purposes.. It won’t let you add a new food without a photo, and you have to jump through 8 different windows in order to enter anything at all. I just want to be able to list what I’ve got in the fridge.

Really useful app. Love the fact you can scan in items and add items that can be used by the community. Good job!

Forced to accept term of service will delete this app when term ends. Will delete this app

Great for knowing what you have But needs to do more.. I love the user friendly and minimalist design, has majority of items and adding items it doesn’t is simple. If you go over 200 items it prompts you to pay a reasonable fee which is fine, just wish you could use the app for recipe suggestions based on what you have. Don’t really see much use in it besides tracking what you have and honestly don’t think that’s worth paying for, I can do that in my notes. Kind of disappointing that it doesn’t include the recipe suggester.

Not user friendly. Very hard to navigate. Adding inventory is easy but changing quantities or removing items should be much simpler. Should be able to share the app and allow family members to use it, otherwise they have to write down what they use when you are not there. Might work for a single person but terrible for a family with kids old enough to cook. Not worth the bother.

Amazing app. Barcode scanner capability to add products to your pantry list, keep track of them and make sure they don’t expire while you forget all about them. Insanely user friendly and feature rich! Been looking for this for a long time, thanks!!!

Good but not quite perfect. Good experience so far but some features I haven’t seen is a value on hand. I would like to know how much I have spent on the inventory on hand.

Good app once you know the functions. It took me some time to navigate through the functions, but once figured out, it is very handy.

Not worth subscription price.. Awesome app. Loved everything about it. Totally easy to inventory my pantry. However, I didn’t realize there was a limit of items until I inputed 200 items and was told if I wanted more I’d have to pay a subscription. No thanks, not getting into that. I would have been happy to pay a one time payment or maybe receive ads from local grocery stores but I won’t do subscriptions…ever! Bummer. Loved the app.

Did not record all inventory. Spent 1 hour scanning over 200 products, when completed, only about 30 items were in my inventory. The bar codes produced the picture of the actual product, so what gives. Do I have go back and it again? Not happy as no warnings came up

Home inventory. So far my wife and I are loving this app. It should eliminate waste and overstocking. We figure we will way more than pay for this app by what we save in expired food! And my wife can easily see what we have on hand for meal planning and grocery shopping.

Great App. Really good App really helps when shopping and definitely saves a lot of money would highly recommend

Pantry Check. I love this app! Very versatile and well thought out.

No more wasted food. Thanks to this app my pantry foods are organized and no longer wasted due to expiring. I get reminders when expiration dates are approaching so I can be sure to use things up. The app is easy to use. It’s easy to add new items not already in the app database. It’s easy to add a new photo or edit an existing photo for an item. Thanks for a very helpful app!

I LOVE this app. I’m doing a complete diet change to Vegan Candida and was trying to wrap my mind around everything I’d have to buy. I’m so glad I found this app. What a blessing! It shows me everything I have and reminds me when things are going to run out. It’s amazing. Everything I need in an app. Helps me save money and wrap my head around what I have. Thank God for it ❤️ Thank you guys for making it! Would love to donate to keep it going

Great app!. I really enjoy using this this app. My family and o use it to track items we have in our storage freezer. The only thing I would suggest is I don’t have the ability to add weight or a similar description without adding it to the name of the item. Example-I would have to change the name from Ground Beef to Ground Beef 1 lb. But this doesn’t take away from the app at all!

Phenomenal App! Completely found by accident.... I love to cook. I hate carrying random pieces of paper so I use my Notes app, but even this gets irritating to update, delete, etc. This is a 1-stop location for all ingredients, pantry, freezer & fridge items... PLUS notifications on expiration dates! Wow! I haven’t even started using all the other areas available for products regularly used: bathroom, cosmetics, pet food. Great job!!! I will recommend to all my app-loving friends.

Very Useful. I've been using this app for about 2-3 months and I have been thoroughly enjoyed using this app. It does take disciple to monitor what has been used to maintain the accuracy of inventory but once you get accustomed to doing it, you'll be glad you did. A minor improvement I would suggest would be having the ability to import a photo of an item from the internet.

Easy to use with lots of functionality. Do you ever download an app and forget about it? Well, I did with this app and I’m so thrilled that I found it on my phone. This app is it intuitive to use and provides features for both casual user (inventory and create grocery list) and advanced features (export to cvs and use hand scanner)

Finally! A pantry app that works!. I used to use an older pantry inventory app and it’s no longer updated or supported. I must have downloaded every pantry app in the App Store and finally found this one! Takes a little trial and error to understand it but now that I do, I love it! Easy to keep track of all your items in your kitchen. Helps keep the duplicate items and expiring items in check.

Needs option to mark things as frozen. It’s overall a great app, but the only thing that annoys me is when I bring home a piece of meat and put it in the freezer. A few days later, pantry check will tell me it’s expiring. Could we please have a check box that marks it as frozen and thus the expiration date should be longer? Or maybe mark a designated location like the freezer as a cold storage and automatically extend the expiration date on all items there

Love it but would love more functionality. This app is great. Easy to use, quick to scan and has helped reduce our families food waste greatly. However, I wish you could export the list and I wish you could order your entire list by expiration date regardless of the food category. It would also be nice to add location while scanning instead of after adding to inventory. Love it and can’t wait to see what’s next.

Great app! Pricey for addtl storage. I have a small pantry and this works well, I know what’s in the pantry and I don’t have to rummage unless I need something that’s in the back. It’s very easy to scan the items into my phone. I was bummed that there is a monthly cost if you want to upgrade the amount of storage. Luckily I keep under 200 items in my pantry most of the time anyway. But it would be nice if there was a pay one price for additional storage option. Like $1.00 for 10 more items or something.

By far the best pantry food management app in he App Store. Look no further! I’ve checked them all and this the best. Family and device sharing. Lighting fast scanning. Intuitive work flow and instructions. Link to shopping. Will reduce spoilage from over-buying and expiring products. You need this app? Richard, an over buyer from Maine

Hands Down The Best Pantry Inventory App out there.. I tried three different top rated apps before landing on this one. It is straight and to the point. The amount of an item being percentage based is so much more practical than how other apps address this. Also the barcode scanning functionality is far above others. If it isn’t found no problem. Just snap a pic of it and put the brand and name and your done. Then everyone else has it now too!

Fabulous App! Easy to use!. This app is great. It is fast and easy to use. The ability to scan UPC codes or type in items is very user friendly. The pictures of the items really give this app the finishing touch that puts it above the rest. Making grocery lists and having them available on my phone will definitely keep me from rushing back home to grab my list because I forgot it. Love this app!

Do you want to SAVE money and waste?. This is the app to have. Absolutely love it. It’s a bit difficult to maneuver around in the beginning, at least for me it was🤷🏼‍♀️. I’m so tired of over spending on items I already had stuffed in the back of the pantry. I’m just not that good at going thru my cabinet before shopping and I sometimes shop for groceries on the fly. This by far is the perfect app for me. Kudos to the developers!

Awesome!!! + a request. I just downloaded this app but I already love it. The barcode scanning feature is absolutely amazing, and I love how there’s already photos for almost everything; it was very easy to add items. I love that you can indicate where the items are stored and that it auto sorts them! The interface is very easy and straightforward. The pricing is very reasonable. I’m happy that there aren’t any annoying ads, and I’m without a doubt going to buy the premium version once I get to 200 items!! My request/feedback would be to have an option to view the items on the inventory page without the items being broken into categories. I think it’s super helpful sometimes, but other times it’s annoying and I’d like to be able to toggle the category sectioning!

Not Trustworthy. I’ve had this app for 3 years. In the last two it has started duplicating items. I will mark that I have 3 cans of tomato sauce and a week later it will say I have 5. I have 10 packs of tuna and it says I have 15. It will say I have two jars of grape jelly and there are none. At first I thought it was me but know I’ve been watching very carefully and realize it just adds extras randomly. It’s less than helpful when you are at the store and can’t trust if this is correct. It also means I’m paying for more storage than I need. I feel cheated out of time and money.

Great App!. I just recently started using the app but I love it already! I didn’t realize how many things I have on hand. I definitely know now. Easy to use. If you have a lot of items, you will need to pay for one of the plans. The plans are very reasonably priced. Love that there are no ads and they don’t sell my email address.

Almost Perfect. User friendly app and the best in its class for grocery inventory and organization. If could would give it 4.5. Reserving the 5 stars for tweaks in feature that would improve productivity: 1) allowing user to rearrange shopping categories for each store to match the store’s layout and 2) adding the ability to rearrange the categories in the inventory to fit individual needs rather than alphabetically. With those enhancements this app would be perfect!

Handy. This app has made our lives so much easier in what to decide to eat for meals and with what items we need to restock. I especially love the expiration tracking, we get more use out of our inventory before it things expire! My only suggestion is to have an option to also view the actual expiration date on the product under the time until expired. It would make it easier to select the right expire date to mark finished.

Could easily be a 5 star app. To me a very basic function is missing. There are so many categories that I will never use and it it sometimes tedious to find the right one. The ability to edit the category list would raise the star level to 5 and be worth the annual fee. Without that ability, I will probably seek out another app.

Love the app!. I love the ability to see what’s coming up on expiration date and then use those items in my meal plan. Using the app has decreased my food waste a lot. The thing that could be improved on the app would be to allow a freezer function whereas if you have bread products or something that we usually have a short expiration date but you store them in the freezer you should be able to mark them as such so that they aren’t expiring as they normally would be if left on the counter.

Great but needs to partner with meal planner apps. New to this app and really liking the easy interface so far. Few suggestions for improvement- When bulk adding into the inventory, I’m not able to adjust the amount remaining in the jar right then. I have to first add all items to inventory, then find each item to slide down the remaining amount. Aka the app assumes the first time add is always full. It would save time if that adjustment was available right after scan. Second, I’m trying to figure out which meal planning app will work seamlessly with this. Some suggestions from the developer that they have tried would be helpful. Thanks for a useful app !

Great Application. This app has helped us to cut down on extraneous purchases. Since we have a good handle on what is actually in the pantry, we don’t buy extras of anything unless we actually want to. This Pantry app keeps us abreast of expiring items and items we need to replace. Highly recommended is you want to keep track and keep control of your pantry.

The Best. You can effectively inventory, but it requires some upfront planning, duh! It has up to two locations for everything, INVENTORY (which holds everything) and (which is your custom name or one of the provided ones: Pantry, Fridge, etc) They now let you export a CSV file! Thanks. The only improvement I would like to see is the ability to group inventories, ie Inventory — Pantry — Shelf 1 — Shelf 2 — Corner Cab — Drawer 1 etc. I realize that’s another set of fields in data base, and a migration design headache, but that’s why a bunch of talented RDB folks are selling this! Thanks. Great product. Well designed and pretty bullet proof!

Best app for inventorying everything.. What's different from other apps? I can inventory everything. I track cleaning supplies, toothpaste & brushes, etc. I can create my own locations so I have 2 locations for 2 freezers, 2 fridges, 2 bathrooms, etc. If you were so inclined, you could create your own items - track tools, things in storage, use your imagination. You can create rules when adding items "if it's frozen veggies assign to freezer A" "toothpaste to bathroom B" making scanning a breeze. Most non-perishables have a default expire interval which is usually very close to the one on packaging, reducing input even more. So, entry can be as easy as just Scanning the barcode. 1 thing. I wish there was a smaller plan. I can't imagine any household tracking 2k items. I've never reached 300!

Great Grocery List App. This is Very nice app which will definitely help you with your shopping and if you want to track what is left in your fridge or pantry, it will also help with that. It could use one item I haven’t found, the ability to select how much you need of a particular item. You can add a note which will do that, but having it built it would be awesome.

Scanner too small. When using the scan feature of this app, the scan window appears in the app. It is frustratingly too small when using an iPad. So frustrating that I i'm only giving three stars. The window that appears for the scan feature needs to be at least half the size of the iPad or full screen. There is no way to expand the size of the scanner window. They need to fix it

LOVE this app. I rarely do reviews because of laziness but her I am. We ALWAYS buy things that we already have but couldn’t find it. This helps with purchasing by mistake. I love that I can see what we have in the app, create a grocery list or just check my cell. Super easy to use. I KNOW my gramma would be able to use this. I give 4 stars because I can’t enter the same products that have diff expiration dates. Apologies (and will give 5 ⭐️if that’s possible and just don’t know how.)

Very helpful organizing tool. I’ve been a paying user of this app for a few years and find it very handy for keeping track of my pantry inventory and expiration dates. Some of the categories are not the most intuitively named — would love to be able to customize them. Also a wish list item: add a way to mark items that are opened but not yet finished.

Awesome so far. I’ve briefly tested out a few food inventory apps and this one, so far, seems amazing. It is very intuitive to use, with many helpful features. We have venison and farm-raised pork in the freezer and I love that there are so many pre-loaded venison items to choose from, or that I can add my own with a quick pic amd make it public or private. Very easy to use so far!!!

Love this inventory app!. This is the best app i have used for all my grocery and food inventory. It is so easy to use and has everything from building my grocery list to add to my inventory. I didn’t expect the scanner to work so good but it is awesome! .It even has stuff for home canning items which i have a lot of and now i can look in my app and know if i need more - which is a huge money saver! Thanks and please keep it updated!

Only one request!. The app it’s self is great! I feel like if I could ask the developers to add anything, it would be the ability to scan items to finish. Sometimes I take out like 10 items to cook dinner and I have to scroll through and finish each item individually. It would be a huge timesaver if we were able to scan out like we scan in.

Best Home Food Inventory App. I have found this app an amazing addition to my home management process. We keep a food storage room for emergencies. This helps us rotate our food stores and also o ow exactly what we have when we shop and consume for meals and snacks! Thanks for building something like this for use as a home management and meal planning application!

Review and feature request. The app is probably the best I have seen in the App Store. It scans and actually uses a database of photos by other users where other apps you have to constantly take your own photos and expiration dates making it a pain when going through an entire inventory. Only thing I wish it had was a members section where other family members can add, view expiring, etc.

Easy to use and keep track of inventory. It was easy to scan everything in pantry, fridge and cabinets. While preparing meals, I mark off things I used and tap Restock to add to Shopping list. Im sure I won’t be buying things I don’t need now. I checked out my Shopping List and it includes estimated costs to replace items also. One ask: I couldn’t scan some OTC drugs into app. Would love to see a way to scan and add new items to the database.

I found it!. I have been waiting for someone to make an app like this. This is so well done and easy to use. Scan items into your inventory - move to a shopping list - check out and it moves things you bought back to the inventory. It’s surprisingly accurate with prices and easy to edit when it’s off . Right now I’m on the free plan with about 100 items in the inventory but I plan to subscribe because I like supporting good work. This is going to lower my grocery bill no doubt and I’m sure I’ll waste less food as well. Kudos to the developers. Well done. Thank you!

Best of all Time. I have always end up buying double the items because I forget that I already have it in my pantry. with this app I am able to double check my inventory before over buying and not having space to put everything. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to organize their groceries to get this app.

Update: Unusable after upgrade to iPhone 12. Update: App developer was very responsive and is promising an update. PVS: I like this app a lot but after I upgraded to an iPhone 12 it stopped working. It starts randomly scrolling through items in different categories and won’t stop. I hope its functionality will be restored soon as I’ve been using it two years and otherwise mostly find it very good.

Amazing!! Especially if you don’t want to waste food. Kudos to the developers for creating an intuitive and user-friendly app. This app helps me keep track of items and helps me to plan ahead and minimize waste. It’s brilliant. Few suggestions/ wish list: Ability to bulk move items to a different category (like you can for a location) Inability to move to any of new - other - categories (e.g., create new product -> private items -> homemade, etc to a different category (like homecooked meals) Collapse/expand all categories at once A-z quick index along side Ability to undo - especially when accidentally moving to spoiled or finished Thank you!

Great little app. Nice, efficient and easy to use design. I like the features - being able to adjust quantity, amounts and so forth. Synchronizing between devices is also helpful. The only way it could be improved is if you guys develop a sister app involving recipes. I’ve seen a few of those, but their built-in inventory features are comparatively poor.

Brilliant but over-complicated. This app is awesome as having a visual aid and being able to search thousands of items is great, but being able to add to an inventory especially with a new expiration date is incredibly complicated. It would be great to group the product together and view expiration dates in list form, not add a whole new item to the board that’s the same thing.

The grocery app I’ve been wanting for a long time!. There’s so much to love about this app I can’t list it all in this review. BEST BARCODE SCANNER hands down! The most functional, practical, and useful grocery app on the App Store for my needs. My only small gripe is that I wish the app icon style was more aesthetically consistent with my other apps to match them.

Pretty incredible. Just needs Bluetooth barcode scanner and recipes.. I’m really impressed. I logged my whole pantry and kitchen in an afternoon with only one product it couldn’t find. The user guide says you can flag incorrect photos or make other photos the default but those two options are not available. Hopefully we can waste less. The haptic feedback and little beep is satisfying each time too.

So far, so good!. I like this app for everything except the fact that the expiration date selection is too close to the bottom of my screen. I keep accidentally activating the navigation bar at the bottom of my iPhone 13 pro when I swipe to select the expiration date. I'd love for it to be centered vertically in the middle of the screen. Otherwise, great app!

Less waste. My goal this year is to “shop my pantry” thereby cutting down not only on food waste but money waste. Thus far this app has been wonderful! I figured the easiest way to get started was to purge / clean / organize my pantry. I found several items I don’t use or have an abundance of, so those items are going to local food bank. Great concept and easy to organize. Love the ease of use for pantry, fridge, freezer. Thank you for a great, user friendly app.

Very easy to use. I love this app! Can maintain inventory AND shopping list. Most barcodes it recognizes. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I like to print the shopping list. When my wife and I go to the store, we separate and take a copy of the list and assign categories to each other to save time and expedite completion of the tasks.

Perfect grocery shopping assistant. I tried a few apps before landing on this one. I couldn’t believe even the highest rated ones do not let you maintain inventory. Who wants to create/type a new list every time? These guys thought through the process of shopping and got it right. Would love to give these guys a few $$ and still can’t believe so many paid apps out there are useless.

Simply amazing. What else is there to say!? This app is amazing! I have so many things that I have duplicates of because I live 30 minutes from a grocery store and if I’m at the store and not sure if I have an item or not, I buy it just in case. Now I can just look at this app and know if I have it and how many! It categorizes them too. And I believe you can even specify where something is (top shelf, middle shelf, fridge, etc) but I have t used that function yet.

So far so good. Just downloaded and tried this out. It's pretty easy to set up locations and inventory your pantry. Editing is a bit clumsy. Location is on one screen and item details on another. No way to import a picture of an item from the Internet. You're stuck with your photography skills (or lack thereof) if you need to add a new item. I can see where it'll be useful when I go shopping. I can check to see if and how much I have before I buy that sale item.

Great app!. Great app! Keeps my inventory on track as well as grocery list. I would love in the future if we could make our own private categories and be able to scan our own person sku codes to help keep track especial since I purchase things in bulk but also break them down into manageable sizes.
