Great on a phone not so much on a iPad. I downloaded on my phone 1 chapter on my phone but it its a lot to download on my phone when I don’t plan to use my phone to read it. I try to download on my IPad but it makes me download audio one chapter at a time, very time consuming as you can imagine. When I push the download button next to a book (ie all of john) it kicks me out and doesn’t even download anything hence the 2 stars, Please fix this glitch! Thank You and have a Blessed Day!

Love NIV Bible!. Love this app! Sometimes paper bibles leave me page flipping and it is difficult to get the scriptures I don’t know that I need. Search functionality and cross referencing are so helpful.

Best Bible App I’ve used so far. I love this app. It gives me not only daily scriptures but daily devotions as well. And when I’m simply just reading the bible and come across a word I don’t know all I have to do is press down on the word and it will define it for me. It’s great and I love it!

Wonderful. Some might say that I’m an “infant” in my faith. I’m still learning, and this bible app gives me resources to be able to learn and obtain information about the scripture. I’m very thankful to have it on my phone. Whenever I’m feeling down I can flip through my apps and open my bible to read.

Love!!. This app is awesome! I have a few translations that I use on a regular and nothing compares except for my paper bibles. These are great for on the go readers!

NIV view. I had app before and all chapters appeared of old and New Testament: that version no longer appears as vanished from app selection. On trying to download again n it comes up with some wheel method I do not like. How do I get old method that displayed a view with all chapters of Bible on one page. You could then select the book you wanted and the select a verse?

NIV. This is the best app for you if you are in need of a good understanding of God’s word and this app allows you to follow along and stay focus and go back if you need to here that one scripture again and again

Love the new app. I had been having trouble with the new Tecarta bible app transferring my notes correctly but when I downloaded this 50th anniversary app and logged in with my Tecarta user name… it transferred everything and synced them! Using them in tandem is the best way to go. I can edit the notes in the NIV 50th anniversary app and they automatically go into the new Tecarta app.

Wonderful app. Fantastic layout. Well designed. Easy to use. The dictionary feature is a tremendous plus. I was using another NIV app without a dictionary feature. It is a huge time saver to have the dictionary built into the app. The quick cross reference feature is also a great tool.

Free Version Rocks. I can’t afford to buy much right now so I have the free version and I love how they let you access Jesus for free and don’t shove “buy this and buy that” down your throat.

Excellent Bible app. I downloaded this app a few weeks ago and have been more than pleased with it. It is very clear, easy to use, accurate and has good supplementary write ups. It is at least 5 times better than the Bible app that I have been using the last several years.

Love that I can set and listen to the word. I love it don’t like to read with its it read it for you so I can set back and relax and listen to the word

Missing verses. I am a christian man myself and I want nothing more than for others to be saved as well. Reading the NIV I have found it has missing verses however and I am not the first to find out. Please look for yourself but a few missing are Acts 8:37, Romans 16:24, John 5:4. Always study and learn for yourself in your faith. From what I know now the KJV is accurate translation.

I am not sure. Sometimes I try to use the Bible reading and I am sot sure I have the settings right . Also in devotion there is an illustration that you read then the I red the backup scripture. I only see the scripture but no trial devotional.

The holy word transformed my mind and heart Joshua 1:8 keep this book of the law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Love this Bible app!!. I love this Bible it simplifies the word of God very close in comparison to the King James Version. It also gives study guides throughout each chapter in each Book to read about which I really like.

Top notch. I have used this app for almost 3 years ... it is the most user friendly app I have probably ever used.

Easy to get to the books. I have only been on the app about a week. My favorite function is the scroll option to find a book, chapter, and verse. So much easier than the app I discarded in favor of this one. I have not used any other functions at this time as I am planning of using it mostly for Bible reference.

Communication via the Holy Spirit. This app allows me to read, breathe, and abide by the word of God daily. A real go to and pick me upper when I have no sense of direction and need that tangle confidence that only comes from God via the Holy Spirit. I love sharing so others can feel and receive what God is speaking to them about. Thank you for accessibility to this app.

Excellent NIV Bible App!. This NIV Bible app really helped me to do both daily Bible reading each morning and to use it for Sunday School class and Sunday worship. The font is large enough to read comfortably without squinting and the app is easy to navigate. I am very pleased with it and have been using it for daily Bible reading and for Sunday School class. Highly recommended!

Mary Jean. It's wonderful to be able to tap on the NIV app if I awaken in the middle of the night when I can't sleep. I keep it on the black background. I love the little "lessons" associated with certain passages. Kind of wish there was an option for black background for those too as they are so suddenly bright at night but it's not a big thing. The search wheel is great also.

Very good, but a free key missteps. I like the shop and use it daily as my regular reader. Easy navigation, good customization capability, good reading experience. Good copy/paste/share tools , bookmarks, etc. But I have a couple major gripes: 1) the Scripture of the day notification, which is a nice feature, when you click on it, brings you to the app. It should BRING YOU TO THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY 2) this app was written for people who don’t actually read their bibles much. When you get to the end of a given chapter….it stops. You can’t just continue scrolling into the next (or previous) chapter. Who thought of that silliness? You have to go back to the navigation and navigate to the next chapter. Ugh! I like it, and I love (insist) that it’s offline for anytime/anywhere access. But these bugs are pretty irritating to me. Four stars. Could easily be five.

iphone bible app users. I LOVE THIS APP!!!! i originally have the youversion bible app and use that in which i can use that one to look at different scriptures in the bible in a different type of bible say like if i were to read a scripture from KJV i could even though my staple type bible is the NIV type; it’s my favorite because i grew up using that type mostly in my church. this NIV version bible app; it’s just perfect, I LOVE HOW IT HAS ITS VERY OWN!!! 😁

Praise the Lord!!. Thank you very much for the use of this app! One of the better Word of God apps in my opinion. Elegant design and easy to use. NIV is my favorite translation. When the Lord blessed me with His Spirit I was new to reading the Word and the NIV translation , mostly , was written on my heart. In all translations I know the meaning stays the same but I prefer the NIV. Treat others as you want to be treated, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you , Love thy neighbor as thyself. The Holy Word. I’ve never read the Bible till now. I’ve tried in the past but it was hard for me to understand with my comprehension problems. My Pastor at church told me about NIV. I came across this one and I love it. Very easy to use this app and the NIV bible I can understand. I love reading the word and now I know what it means that it feeds your soul. 🙏🏽

My comments. I am thoroughly enjoying this Bible Version because of the ease with which I can find a passage and also the way it scrolls when I am reading. It is very helpful and also the audio version of it is good also when I am walking and listen to it on my phone.

Such a great way. To carry the word of God with you. The app is very easy to use. It's very reliable. You can copy, past, highlight and even write notes, which are all saved. Some of the contents are affordable. Thank you.

My favorite. I have been through so many Bible apps. I liked a lot of them and love another one, that is until I found this app. I feel like I will not be searching for another one.

A Gem. Easy to navigate, wonderful interface and I love the verse & devotional of the day notifications. You can even set yourself a reminder to read at any time of day. A must have.

Thanks for the help. There are times when I’m reading alone, I need help understanding verses so I go to the NIV to help me because it reads in a simpler way and too, in our church both the King James and the NIV is used.

What better to look at on your iPhone. This is a great app! I know enough about the Bible to just go find parts to read and it’s renewed my interest in reading more because my phone weighs less than my good bible. I like the daily messages too.

Good. Good, easy to read and to highlight. Highlighting options are good. Would be better if it is possible to scroll from one chapter to the next directly without having to enter the new chapter at the end of a chapter.

Best Bible tool. This really is the best Bible tool. You can load your favourite Bible translation, and compare with others. The search function is phenomena. Being able to read two Bible translations side by side is incredible. Note making is so easy, cut and paste is fantastic. I love the daily passage function. For somebody who is studying theology, this is a must have app.

NIV for IPhone & Ipad.. I use it as a tool in Bible study because of the speed I can access required verses. Much better than using a PC or Laptop because the phone or iPad is always on hand. Yes when I was younger my old faithful Bible seemed trained to open where needed but time has slowed memory. Graham P

Outstanding Bible app. This app has just gotten better and better, I have used it for 5 or 6 years now and it has continued to grow and improve. Works brilliantly with several study bibles and most especially the new Zondervan study bible edited by DA Carson. It's just a great simple easy to use Bible app. Could just do with some bible reading plans would be my only complaint.

Getting there. My introduction was a bit hard at first but with persistence and guidance from the Holy Spirit got me through as well as the support site. Now I am searching and gathering verses with eases and learning to cross reference like I did with my old paper Bible. “Freely you have received; freely give.”. I find this Bible app sluggish and clunky to use. Just now a message popped up telling me that if I $buy the payed version it will be faster. I find this offensive given that Jesus taught his followers “Freely you have received; freely give.” Matthew 10:8. If the developers genuinely want people to receive the good news, perhaps they should practice what they preach.

NIV 50th Anniversary Bible. Excellent resource!!

Expensive. Yes it's free to download but once you're in, the study bibles and other versions available are pretty pricey. Watch what you click. I don't think the app functionality is any better than existing bible app I have which has a bunch of free versions available.

NIV 50th app. I really like this app & all the functionality within it. I use a lot of the features often. What I would like to see is a sync between devices. I have an iPhone & iPad, but the notes only sync within the device. Also, my name comes up as appholes. Not cool.... :’(

Needs a Human Touch. I love the tecartaBible interface. It’s by far the smoothest to operate and least cluttered of other apps. However, what is really missing is a human reading the bible. The “Text To Speech” is absolutely awful to try and listen to. Once “Narrated Audio” gets added then it’ll be a six star review for sure.

Beautiful design!. He app is well designed and wonderful to use. My only slight criticism is that the fonts for the various features are sometimes different sizes and can be challenging to read. If all fonts changed to the one you selected it would be perfect.

No support. I purchased NIV and Amplified from Tecarta. They deleted the original NIV from app and the Amplified. I emailed support but got no response. Can’t read it offline w/o re-purchasing. Who’s to say they won’t do it again?

Serious bug in audio function. When it plays selected range of verses, last several words are always excluded in the repeat routine.
