Needs duration edits. The FX and app is great. But, sometimes an explosion will last too long. So long where it will last to frames with no explosions. So please, and I BEG you, add a feature giving us the ability to edit the frame duration.

Glitchy. When i was using it my film starting lagging and messing up and all of a sudden all of my movie was gone and the explosions aren’t even that great.

Not worth the money. Only has 11 total effects and it’s very hard to use. Can’t edit the length of the explosions. Regret buying this

Can’t shorten the fire. I love this app I really do but I can’t shorten the fire right if I have an explosion in the light of the fires cooler the fire just keeps going on to the next scene I can’t shorten the length of the fire I want to shorten it maybe to a couple seconds but it just goes on and on and on and I can’t use it really I can’t use anything on the app and less the screen isn’t going to move to another location or the only way I can use it unless the screen is set in one fix location and I have to let the explosion go through its motions And then start the next scene which I don’t want to do it like that

All reviewers are stupid. There is a way to export, you go to projects and push the button in the top left and export from there.

Waste of 5 bucks. Every time I select one of my vids I want to edit it kicks me out of the app! There’s honestly nothing I can do about it so it was nothing but a waste of 5 bucks

Please fix!. When I apply that effects, the frames of the video lag and get placed out of order. I’ve used this app in the past and never had this issue before. Would’ve been 4 stars if not for this.

Simply doesn’t work. I tried opening multiple videos but they would not import for editing. I finally noticed that you can only use landscape videos (which would have been good to know before spending $5) so I tried 3 different landscape videos and those also didn’t work.

Not good.... This app is a very fun and cool but there is a bug that when I try to export a video the app bugs out... I'm sorry and I don't give bad reviews but this app is not good. There’s a massive issue. So I’ve been using this app for a couple years and it’s great the fire is great and the explosions are great but ever since I got the newest iPhone 13 pro max I’ve been experiencing this issue with the app when you export it the video becomes really bright and has a really weird white filter pls fix this and I’ll update this review

Do Not Buy!. This app is 100% very misleading as the CX you are not offered any of the special effects advertised. The editing capabilities are very poor along with the actual procedures to edit the video. Purchased app less than twenty-four hours ago and already requested a refund.

Needs serious updating. App won’t save my video and explosions look poor and looks old over all and super laggy not worth the money

Bad quality explosions and not a lot of choices. I feel like this is a waste of money, there’s a small selection of explosions smoke affects and fire. It would be nice if they made the quality a little bit better and put on more choices.

Good... But very glitchy. Time view is even worse than frame view. All of the other app in the action movie kit need major fixes.

Work in progress. To be honest this app needs a lot of work. I love Gun Effects and Lightsaber Effects, and love the concept of fire effects, but the layout of this app is not good. If it could be recreated in the same likeness of the other apps I mentioned, I would love the app. However it is not user-friendly, it is slow, it will not save to camera roll, and the format when adding effects is tedious.

Dose not save to your photos. The app is great! But when exporting on iOS, it says that it is been saved to your gallery but when you go to your photos it’s not there. Please fix this I love this app.

It doesn’t work. It says I need to do a landscape style but I still do it and it doesn’t work it doesn’t work it’s impossible for me to get my films in there yes this affects a very cool but it doesn’t even work So please fix it please and you have to pay five dollars please fix it

needs more. I’ll give it a three star because the quality is pretty good, but there aren’t enough effects, add more explosions. That would help a lot of us who are making movies.

It worked pretty well. I bought this for a stop motion film I was making and it worked ok. There are some problems though. 1. It is super laggy 2. There are not that many effects to choose from 3. You can’t shorten or lengthen the explosions 4. It can be saved to your camera roll but it is hard to get there 5. The explosions look like they are in slow motion

Awesome but.... Ok so I've been using this app since October and it's great! But all of a sudden I can't import my videos! I click the import button and then I look in my gallery it's not there! Fix this and boom I'll rate this a 5 star!😄

Good and bad at the same time. This app has wonderful FX BUT on older phones it has trouble saving to the camera roll. AND EVERYONE WHO IS CONFUSED ON HOW TO USE THE APP GO TO APP SUPPORT IT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING

Needs major update. I think the app is great but it needs more fx, also it exports video very very slowly. Also I think you should be able to tilt the fx

Awesome!. This app is great! Great quality and all that. But there is one minor bug. If I click on one of my vids in my gallery, than it shows a diff vid from my gallery. So basically I have to search through the gallery and have to find it

Extremely disappointed. I loved gun fx and I tried this. When I load the app it lags so bad I can barely use the app. whenever I save a video it never shows up in my camera roll. I hope you fix this.

It works for me as well.. I had one moment where the screen just went black when trying to play one of the videos in the gallery, but yes… Once you create your movie, you click in the icon in the upper left part of the screen to export it to the gallery. Technically it is rendering to the gallery within the app. Then you go to the gallery to save it to the camera roll. A clunky way to do it, and it would be nice if there was a consistent UI between this and the Gun FX app, but meh... it works basically the same. I haven't seen any of the things that other reviewer's have mentioned. It exports the video at normal speed, you can rotate and scale the explosions to any size and direction you want, and it doesn't seem to take particularly long to render a video for me, and even shorter to export to the camera roll. People just don't know what they are doing.

Love It. Great app for a portable device just needs better editing, more explosions and more details.

Useable but glitchy. If you have the patience to work around and learn the app’s glitches, it is fine. It superimposes amazing effects on your videos, but it is very laggy/unresponsive. DO NOT USE THIS APP ON ANYTHING OLDER THAN IPAD AIR 2 AS IT IS VERY TAXING ON YOUR DEVICE’S PROCESSOR AND MEMORY!

Don't buy until an update. It's clunky and glitchy. I've owned it for over a year and the devs basically released it and never bothered to do a real update. They probably read all the reviews, but still they choose to keep collecting money from ultimately unsatisfied and disappointed customers. Classy.

Laggy and glitches. I downloaded this app for my stop motion movies. Probably like a year or two ago it would of worked fine. I got the app a couple of months ago, and this is what happens today, the second time I used it: 1) The keyframe thing was way too messed up and would not work at all. 2) the effect would stay on the video THE WHOLE TIME, and there isn’t a cut and trim tool (which I highly recommend for the next update) 3) The render of the video in the gallery is terrible. It plays the same frame OVER AND OVER AGAIN and glitches horribly. The final video comes out terrible. 4) There was no sound in the final render, and the whole sound system glitched and there was absolutely no sound. 5) Everything was getting me super frustrated. I came here to edit a 16 second long stop motion video, and this app can’t do squash. This is completely unacceptable. 6) As I said, like two, three, last year’s version of this app was FINE. This new update feels like a total wast, and a downgrade. I expected more from this app. I am sorry if I gave criticism in a mean, and disrespectful way, but I am telling what is need to be told to improve this app. I hope that you can fix this app, and respond to me, and my issues.

App keeps crashing. As fun as this app is, every time I try opening up/creating a new project in it now, it keeps crashing and kicks me out. Can you please fix that issue?

Bad!. It's really confusing to use. The effects look awful. It's hard to place the effects on to something and the downloading is the worst. Horrible app don't get it. Wish I didn't buy it

You CAN transfer!. Transfer to gallery, then go to gallery and transfer again and it will say saved to camera roll!

Needs Work.. Like a lot. I would like this app and give it 5 or 4 starts IF it weren’t laggy, the layout was better, and they add the tracking feature (that the gun movie fx has and does it perfectly)

Frame problem. Hey I love this app and have been using it for about 3 years making movies but I noticed recently that when I add fire, smoke, or explosion the video, the video will play a frame multiple seconds ahead of the video then come back to where the video is supposed to, and it will do that throughout the video. It is only when I add an effect to the video that it messes up the frames but I don’t know why.

Fantastic, but with some issues.. This app is amazing, except it has a major bug. The app allows you to make amazing, realistic effects, which is awesome, but it doesn't let you save your videos to anywhere else but the app. There is an export button for you to save videos to your camera roll, but it doesn't work. Even after enabling the Photo Sharing in the Settings. The app has two ways to view the video while editing. Frame view and Time view. Frame view slows it down frame by frame to get the effects perfect, while time view allows you to watch it normally. Time view, however, doesn't work and is a worse, laggy version of the Frame View. Just know that when you download this app you will be faced with those issues, and the occasional crash if you try to push buttons too fast.

BEWILDERING MEDIA SCAM!. Good Afternoon Individuals, As it has appealed to your understanding, my name is Michael (short for Humphrey). But you did not request that information, you requested my honest review, so I will now deliver it to you. I have downloaded this piece of technology onto my digital/mobile device for my twelve year old son to experience the creativity and art of the effect adding application. The effects offered tasteless visuals of fire that were excruciatingly non-realistic. Not only that, but after maneuvering around the staggeringly painful settings and system, exporting the videography was impossible. The application crashed approximately three seconds after the exportation had begun. Furthermore, there as an alarming price on the application for its worth. I personally all users deserve a refund.

Okay. The app is okay. It just has some issues like the effects don’t look the most realistic ,and the effect need to be able to move with the camera. It would might help if you could shorten effects a little. But other than that, its a pretty good app.

Decent app. The effects are really cool. After figuring out how to properly save the videos to the actual gallery. Hard to set key frames and times.

It's very decent. As you know explosions or very most action and I use it for exploding telephone poles not in real life but a special fx and I love it

Why. I bought this app and to be completely honest, it was crap. Not only was there no texture, no availability, but there was no way to actually use the app. I couldn’t make an effected video and put into my camera roll and that is a huge problem.

Can't even save. I definitely do not recommend this app to anybody. I spent 8 goddamn dollars on this app and it can't even save a video to the camera roll. I make a movie, add fire and click export. It claims to be successful but when I go to camera roll there's nothing there. There also isn't even that many fires and explosions to add, its ver limited. Do not buy, whatever you do.

Haters Read. All you haters out there shut up! They have put in so much effort to make this app. For those who have made a video with these effects, and said that that the app crashed while exporting on the camera roll. Stop throwing shade on them!!!! It must STOP!!! Great but........... It's a good app but there needs to be more fx and also why does it take so long for the fx to export like really I have been waiting for mine for almost 2 hours and it hasn't finished!!!!! From 😅to😓. The past two apps by this group (gunmoviefx and saber fx) were awesome. The were totally worth the money. This app, $6, is a waste of money. Please fix it. Nothing saves or previews, the fx are slow and glitchy. I am completely sad and annoyed. Quite disappointed. This was definitely the worst app out of the pack, your gun fix one was amazing but this is Definitely not even close to that, please update the app man and I don’t say this too be a dooshbag I’m saying it because you have obviously been ignoring all the other comments to update it. What has happened to you guys!. I am so disappointed with this app and I am going to get my $6.49 back...in your other apps you guys are really good especially the gun fx but this has let all us movie fx fans down...fix these bugs, there is no audio of the explosions or fire, too laggy even on my iPad Air 2. I have a suggestion. Alright, this would make it much more better to use if you had a negate tool, for example we would have an explosion behind a pillar... but we cant do that with this so if you had a tool where you could negate the fx with a tool that would help alot :)

Noice. This app is great, though it’s annoying when you have to try to keep the camera still or the effects move, but that’s not the apps fault.

Plz read. This app was AMAZING I used it all the time making short movies and stupid videos with my friends. But now, I put in one effect, and the game crashes immediately, I’ve tried it on many different devices and BBM its the same problem, so I was wondering if you could patch up the bug. More realistic. Could you pls make the effects more realistic because they look like megapixels, also could you give us a tutorial on how to use the app?

Crashes. I can't even get through about 5% of exporting before the app crashes, it needs to be updated, as of right now, I rate one star, until the update makes it better

I like to potential and concept.. You need to update the ability to save to camera roll or this app is a fail. You should update it like the gun and sabre app which are fantastic! I bought this in hopes you will update and fix....added a few more effects would be a nice touch, maybe a sniper scope or missiles with impacts. Also, you need to be able to rotate the effect...

Idk. It doesn't seem to work, I've tried to add effects to a video, and it doesn't show up on the camera roll. Then when it does, you can only hear it because of how laggy the video is

Is not too bad, but UI is confusing. As seen by multiple others reviews, the UI isn’t very clear. The complaints about videos not saving to the camera role are due to the individual not knowing that the app exports the video to its own gallery BEFORE you can send it to your camera role. Due to such being an unnessecary complication, I believe it’s better to remove the apps separate gallery and make it a direct export to the camera role.

Rip off. This app contains a small handful of poorly done effects. I could get a better result ripping effects directly from YouTube, and it would be quicker.

Not so great.... When I came to rate the app I was pretty mad, but when I read the description, I'm just hoping at this point that they actually allow to export to photos. Also the lag is quite incredible.

Bad resolution!!!!!. Horrible export resolution. Why?! The playback while editing is choppy, definitely not a smooth playback anywhere near gunfx. Makes it difficult to edit and clearly see what it will look like until you spend the time to export it. Little better quality and editing playback would make this a 5 star app, it's a shame, was excited, now disappointed I spent 5bucks.

PLEASE CHANGE. It is impossible to believe that the same people who made the great GunMovieFX app made this embarrassment. It would of been a five star app if it would've had the same Layout as GunMovieFX and the same convenient features (Able to watch the video with sound while editing, not having janky and unreliable controls). Please just change the whole layout in relation with the previous fx app.

Almost at the finish line!. I have been waiting for an app like this to be on the App Store for a really long time. I enjoy everything about this app including some new features such as: -A new menu that saves your work like iMovie -Option to make adjustments and tweaks to the your special fx -More things to find out once you buy the app Overall I recommend this app to anyone who likes to get together with a group of friends and film a video with a couple special effects thrown in there. The only things that I really want to see in the next update are: -More Fire Affects (Such as fire from the side of the wall) -More Smoke Affects (Such as a magician poof affect) -The ability to make a block on your affect that will erase part of it, to make it look as if part of it could be behind a wall

VERY disappointing. It is horrifically glitchy and unrealistic. A better explosion could be done through windows movie maker for all i know. Don't waste your 5$ on this app.

It's pretty good, could be better. Honestly, I think everyone needs to calm down because it has been out for a little bit so it is gonna be glitchy and stuff, my thoughts are that u should go back to the same exact format as saber and gun movie fx, it is just way easier for me and I assume others as well. I hope in the future u can put more fx and stuff, but when I put an effect in its a little off to where I want it, plus it is a little hard to understand how u stop the effect from goin on and on, but this is probably because I'm not used to this format. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back to the other formats.

Pyro Movie FX. I know that this had only been out for a short period of time, but I'm really disappointed with the layout. The gun movie fx and saber were perfect, please go back to these. I feel that there should be a way to end an effect too but haven't figured it out yet. It would also be nice if the app could track a point in the video so if the shot is moving the effect would stay in the same spot. Also, some more realistic effects would be awesome, because seriously, they need some work. All in all I think this is a great idea and would love to see some of these ideas put into the app.

Awesome App. This app is Godsend for those who love making awesome home movies. I'm personally making Star Trek ones, and this Pyro Movie FX makes our space battles MUCH more realistic. The only thing that could possibly make this already awesome app better is more explosions and possibly exhaust plumes for spacecraft. But I'm not complaining. For such a new app it's already better than I hoped. I love this app!

Just got the app and im not dissapointed.... Hey! I was kind of scared getting this app Becouse of other comments saying that the app had bugs and other glitches... And yes it does have some bugs and glitches and does sometimes crash... But! I got the app becouse I had so much great success with the other apps this company had made.. The only thing I would like is to be able to edit how long the fx go on for and also being able to turn the effects upside down and side ways etc... So hope they make some more updates!!! I would definitely buy this app!

Awesome!!!. Why does this have so many negative reviews? It's awesome! A bunch of flame and explosions, for 5$ The only problem is that my footage gets all choppy whenever I put more than 2 explosions in one video. Please update and I will be satisfied
