AWFUL APP. This app is completely useless with iOS 14. My camera because of this has become completely useless. They need to update the app as soon a possible. This is ridiculous. Samsung is ridiculous.

Update Needed.. This app was decent but no longer works since the iOS 10 update.

Worthless to me now. I would give zero stars if I could. No update for iOS 10 compatibility makes this app useless across all of my devices. Have had to go back to connecting to my computer via USB to download pics and no indication from Samsung that they're working on a fix. They might as well pull this app from the App Store.

Please Better Support iPad! <3. I've been using this app for the remote viewfinder on my NX1. It works, but it would be amazing if we could get full screen support on the iPad. Currently the viewfinder only displays a small box (the size of what it would like on an iPhone); but with the support of using the iPads entire screen, it would truly provide a better experience. 🙂🙃🙂

Was a Great App til I updated iPad to iOS 10, now doesn't work at all.. After I updated my iPad to iOS10, I could no longer connect to my NX1 camera via wifi or use the app to transfer photos. Seriously diminished the cameras features. You would think they would make an update for the app so it worked with iOS10. I'm so upset, that I can't transfer pics wirelessly anymore. So much so that I'm thinking of buying a new camera. Prior to this non-functionality with ios10 it would have been a 4star app in my opinion!

Stopped working after iOS 10 update. Was good until it stopped connecting the to the camera's wifi.

I love Samsung!. The nx500 and the nx1 are amazing! And this app is pretty sweet. I only use it as a way to hook up my iPhone 6 Plus as a monitor above my three axis gimbal. It works amazing for that. Although, 120 P is not available on this app. Please fix the Samsung! And send me some free stuff to!!! :)

Not working. Despite being connected to this camera, it still says I am not connected to wifi!

This crap needs to be taken off the AppStore. How can you advertise your products with apps that you do not plan to update to keep up with iOS upgrades. This app is useless now since it barely supports any of the functions it was advertised with .

Useless. It connected once or twice, but now my iphone 6 won't even recognize the camera's wifi network. When it does connect, the connection drops anytime you move to a different function within the app. Sometimes it drops or switches over to LTE randomly, then you have to reconnect the camera all over again to get another shot. Bluetooth and NFC functions don't work at all on iOS. Useless in a professional environment.

(WiFi connection errors) Pretty bad Samsung, that you can't keep up with iOS updates, or support your product! If you do get around to updating this app, please add the ability to select scene modes. Really disappointed!!!!. One of the reasons I bought the NX 500 was for the immediate transfer to my IPad while on the road. Like the numerous other reviews have stated, this app stopped working when I updated to OS 10. I gave the company a few months to get their act together and update the app. I never expected that after one year of having my camera, one of the major features I needed would no longer work. It's not like Samsung is some sort of cheap off-brand. They entered into the camera market and now they have the responsibility to maintain and support their products. This experience have left me doubting their entire customer support model. I will not be buying ANYTHING from them in the future, regardless of the product!

Samsung Gear application Doesn't work. Irrelevant application doesn't connect whatsoever. *sigh

Can’t download custom films as advertised. Pathetic app. Doesn’t seem to be tested at all.

Remote Viewfinder Crashes. Every time I try to open up the remote viewfinder, it crashes. 😞 It appears to be specific to the iPhone 6 Plus, as it works fine on my wife's iPhone 5S. Please fix!

Works!. Latest update fixed it! Works great on my iPad 3 and NX1. The NX1 is incredible!

Not working on iOS 9. Otherwise nice.. Not really a big issue since not officially released yet, but it force closes every time. Even with latest update. Otherwise this app works great with NX1.

Not working with iOS 10. Cameras are discontinued so this may be the end of the line for iPhone wifi support... Hope they update or the whole Samsung NX camera woes just got worse.

Tried Samsung support. Wasted effort!. Raju P. at Samsung online support was unable to help. He said to update my NX 1 camera's firmware. Other than that advice , which did not solve the OS10 incompatibility problem, he could not offer an updated app. Apparently Samsung has indeed become a 1-Star Company . Where is the update? App does not work anymore! If you are looking for a company that has integrity and customer support for high end consumer products, do not look to Samsung. I would no longer purchase any products from Samsung. My expensive NX 1 has lost its Ipad link, a major problem !!

Works well. Its really well on all my devices, never had a problem with it. Looking forward to the next up date, and i don’t understand why people are upset its really simple to use.😭😂

No bulb shutter control. I'm flabbergasted that they have not enabled long shutter release with a programmable Bulb mode via the app. Please add this!!

Easy fix. Here's an easy fix for app not working on iOS 10. When connected to the cameras network go into the DNS settings and enter 8.8.8.8 and your problem should be solved ☺

Samsung: thanks, but hope this isn't the end!. Where is the goodwill and updated app? Finally here, sort of. Samsung, now that you have your batteries under control, if you want people to continue to use your products (especially your highest end customers), provide some serious updates and maybe we'll consider not abandoning you completely. This barely works, barely. This isn't optimized or very functional on the larger iPhone Plus. Not updating the app we rely on for our very expensive cameras we actually like very much doesn't make us want to switch over and buy your phones, too. It only makes us dig our heels in even more about our frustrations with you. The ball is in your court, don't ruin it.

Doesn't work. With IOS 10 this app doesn't work at all. What a waste. This was one of the main features I wanted in the camera - to be able to transfer pics to my phone wirelessly.

Simply won't work. IPad mini 3rd. Samsung Galaxy camera II . It will not recognize the camera. Thanks Samsung for not doing QA. Also, since the camera nests the dcim folder I can't load to the iPad with the apple camera connector. Probably deliberate on samsungs part...but instead of joining samsungs ecosystem, I won't buy any more Samsung products. They just don't work as advertised. Class action lawsuit would be nice.

So Disappointed. App no longer works after iOS upgrade, rendering my camera useless to me. Will definitely reconsider buying any Samsung products.

When will this be fixed?. There's no point in this camera if it won't upload photos.

One star: my fone didn't explode!. It says a lot about a company that they are able to produce an entirely useless app. How do you live with yourself? I like competition which is why I picked the Samsung camera after years of Sony in this size. All I can say is I'm glad I didn't pick their phone too. This thing does nothing, other than not burn. Back to the iPhone camera since I can't link to this and share pix with ease.

Works ok. Please update to iOS 10 compatible!. This app has always worked fine. It always did what it was supposed to until I upgraded to iOS 10 and now it doesn't work at all. Please make this app iOS 10 compatible!!

Works great as a remote viewfinder. I would like to use this app as a Bluetooth remote shutter release... That doesn't work on the iOS version of this app. Or at least with the iPhone 5s. I borrowed my friends HTC and download this same app and the Bluetooth worked seamlessly. I'm hoping this can be fixed with a simple software update.

THE DECADENCE OF SAMSUNG. This app does no longer work. One of the cool features from the NX1 was the ability to use your phone as a remote for the camera. It as good while it lasted. Samsung's ambition to take over the electronic world left them disappointing their customers trying to create a vast array of new products but not providing the adequate support for the ones that they had already created. This app is one of them. Right now is completely useless. It does not connect to the camera at all. If Samsung wants to stay on top they are going to have to fix a lot of issues to regain customer loyalty.

Sad. I legitimately hate the Samsung development team for this failure to deliver on a consumer promise. I really want my money back. Quick connection to my phone is the only reason I purchased this camera. What a joke.

Useless now. Where is the iOS 10 update?!. Worked great. Now the app is pretty worthless since iOS 10 incompatibility. When is this going to be updated? Seriously considering switching to a Sony. Been unable to use my camera and sync with my phone since the change. Samsung get your sh** together.

A train wreck.... All I want to do is transfer pictures to my iPhone, totally doesn't work. And the app hasn't seen an update in months.

What a shame. Almost two weeks since I bought NX500 and this app do nothing.

ABANDONED CUSTOMERS. I have been using this app for years and now since the ios 10 update it no longer works. I get a prompt that says I need to enable wireless and access to photos, but there is no place to enable photo access bc the app does not appear in that area along with all of my other apps, which means Samsung has not done the necessary interface. I have deleted and reinstalled this app 3 times and I'm done. Done with not only their crappy apps but also with Samsung. Who has this kind of money to throw away on a camera that is not supported by their app or tech support. Time for a new camera, Samsung is a huge disappointment.

Worthless. Like others have clearly stated this app is now useless with the newest iPhone firmware. It's been about four months now and still no fix from Samsung? Inexcusable

Another disgruntled ios10 user. As so many others have said, the app no longer works with iOS 10. The ability to transfer photos via wifi to my phone was a huge selling point when I bought the NX500 but that went right down the toilet when they forgot to do QA.

Simply doesn't work. Wifi connections to cameras are rarely a joy to set up, but simple enough to eventually work. No with Samsung, and not with this app. No matter what options you try on the camera, the app simply returns the same "wifi is not enabled" or "wifi is not connected" errors, despite knowing that it is enabled, and is connected. The camera appears to work just fine. This app does not.

Worthless. Just bought the very expensive NX1. This app is useless, at least with iOS. Each time you launch, must first do a direct wifi connection to the phone(not through home network). app then promptly crashes. Was not able to transfer photos, use remote control etc.

NEEDS UPDATE. This app really needs to be updated as soon as possible as it does not work with the new iOS update, causing a big inconvenience to a majority. Samsung really needs to stay on top of their game and ensure that they update their apps in order for it to work in accordance with smartphone updates. Absolutely hopeless. Can’t even get the camera to connect and even when I downloaded a separate NFC app which picked up the signal from the camera, the app claims that no smart camera is connected. Incredibly frustrated as all the features of the camera that I want to use through the app are now inaccessible. Please update so it can actually be used.

BAD. Doesn't work waste of time

Broken in iOS 10. Doesn't look it's compatible with iOS 10. Wifi error occurs when app is launched. Samsung, please fix.

Broken. This app is so bad that I cannot even start listing issues. You spent big money on a camera that promisses Mobile features but it's so badly implemented that I'm ashemed of call myself a software engineer after knowing the guys who built this call themselves the same. There's a workaround for the ios10 issue: add a DNS server (can be google's 8.8.8.8) to the network after you connect to the camera's wifi and then ios will start showing the wifi signal, now you can open the app and use it.

A billion dollar law suite makes a difference.. This app works flawless on Android on Bluetooth. They make you jump through hoops to use it on apple. Shame on Samsung On the upside most my Samsung stuff is gone couple things left.
