Your App Isn’t Working. Rave keeps skipping frame by frame, as if it’s really slowed down When I’m on calls. Kinda sucked because me and this other person used to watch videos in calls until this began happening. We liked rave. Well, more me, I kinda pushed them (because they don’t want labels, that’s another story) to get the app so we could watch a show together. I always liked watching videos with them even though they didn’t like it too much. They passively complained when I wanted to watch things and i acted like I was blind and didn’t notice the signs that they clearly didn’t want to watch anything with me, I thought maybe the problem was the Rave App but it turned out to be me somehow, so maybe if you could fix the app things could go back to normal somewhat normal.

Good app with some faults. I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews which is important to take into consideration when downloading this app. I have been using the app for about 3 or more months and haven’t run into any “hacking” issues. This is the only app that works for me and my friend when we just wanna watch a movie together. I would also recommend it if your trying to find people who have the same interest. Honestly I am possible one of the few that found some safe online friends with this app. Other apps I don’t trust as well but this is a decent app. I would recommend it and I give props to the developers for making this and trying to make an app worth downloading. There was only a few problems, which was I wasn’t able to get into Viki which is one of the options they offer but it doesn’t show up in the app for me. Also this may be just a personal preference but I would recommend to the developers to add maybe a profile tab to see what exactly can be accessed or not.

Fix the app.. I’ve never written a negative review for an app because I didn’t want to bother so I just deleted them, that’s not the point here. I rely on rave to watch movies and videos with friends and it was working fine until recently. 1. The app freezes sometimes for no reason so I have to close the app and sometimes that doesn’t solve it 2. After some time the chats don’t show up for the other person 3. Videos take long to load sometimes I was watching a movie with a friend and the whole screen froze, no big deal, I closed the application but the audio was still playing. I told my friend to pause it and he did but I could still hear it as if the movie was still playing. I had to restart my phone for it to work again. Minutes later it happens again but I can’t even close the application NOR shut my phone off. I have an iPhone XR that’s only 3 months old, everything up to date. Restarting my phone doesn’t solve anything. Please fix these bugs, Rave is the only app I can watch stuff with friends on ever since Rabbit was shut down.

Needs to updated, but I like what I see.. I wanted to download an equivalent to Netflix Party since I watch movies through my TV & not necessarily my computer. I downloaded Rave and tested it out by joining random watch parties just to give it a feel before I create my own watch party with my friends. The only problem I have so far is that the casting feature to connect to my chromecast doesn’t really work. It says that it needs to access my microphone to hear a PIN. Don’t know why you need that if I can just type it in, but anyways it just gets frozen on that screen & then I would be forced to quit the app. So far the concept is great from what I see. I would give it 5 stars fasho if the casting feature would work.

Netflix issues. It’s a pretty good app, I really enjoy using it with my friends! However, I try to use my Netflix entering my phone number and it opens but it still doesn’t let me see things with my friends, it just shows me “you’ve chosen to party with your friends in the lobby, if you wanna watch with them sign in” and I do but it still doesn’t let me, I don’t use my email because I can’t remember it, and it opens with my phone number so, it feels like I have no option but to open my Netflix by only using my email, it would be better if I could use my phone number to open my Netflix and be able to enjoy watching it with my friends too Update: Thank you for replying! Now I know better, your app is great overall, I enjoy it and it’s very fun, thank you for clarifying that the only way to access Netflix is with the email, I’ll check in with the email instead, thank you for your patience And keep it up with the app, it’s great!

Long distance relationship. My fiancé and I are living in Florida and NC, respectively, and being able to use this app has really helped us to spend a lot more quality time together. It’s basically like we’re together minus being able to actually physical touch. We always enjoyed watching movies and binge watching shows or series like most couples so having this app is really so amazing. I would recommend it to couples or family members who like to watch stuff together. I don’t know what I’d do without this app to spend time with her honestly. It has helped us feel close so much. It always operates smoothly too. Doesn’t have the most aesthetically pleasing format/ graphics but it works very well as long as your WiFi’s are both good. Only problem I have is that some streaming services like Disney+ aren’t on here (yet hopefully!) other than that this app is great 5/5 stars. 100% satisfied :)

nice but i wish it worked on airpods. Ive had this app for a few months and it’s REALLLYY REALLY fun,, like the people on here are unbelievably funny and i’m always having a good time. one thing that i find kinda annoying is that whenever i try to use this app with my airpods or someone else’s, it doesn’t seem to connect and all the audio goes out as if i have no headphones or earbuds whatsoever which is pretty annoying. other than that, there’s also a ton of homophobes and racists that infiltrate raves and although it’s pretty fun to argue with them, i kinda wish that rave would do something to deal with them

Stability Issues, Disney+ and HBO. Overall, this app is extremely solid. The main gripes I have with Rave is that it suffers from a plethora of stability issues and that it doesn’t include Disney+ or HBO as supported platforms. The stability issues range from you temporarily being “offline” from your rave and having your keyboard and mic deactivate to the very frustrating problem of not being able to load certain videos due to a “rave creation problem.” One final issue I have with the app is the mic. When a video is being streamed and others turn on their mics, the volume of the mic in comparison to the video isn’t balanced properly and leads to either the person or video being too soft. Though I am sounding very negative throughout this review, I just want to reiterate that I love this app to death. I am yet to find another app of this caliber that seamlessly allows one to watch videos with their friends. I just believe that with some minor tweaks this app could go from being great to perfect. This is the “one” you want.. After trying out this app, the development team behind it seems super, super fast about responses (to which, this doesn’t necessarily need one... ha!). That’s important to me as a user. The basic “premise” of all these apps is going to get you what you want, but just watching overall response time, this is the “VHS” to everyone else’s “BetaMax”, the “Blu-Ray” to everyone else’s “HD-DVD”. I don’t know who is behind this. TRUST ME, I’ve been teaching virtually and used every product being developed to help with communication and trying to bring people together. That’s the impression I get from this company. They seem the hungriest. Just to prove a point, how many people actually REMEMBER “HD-DVD”? Ok, so some yes, fair enough. But how many OWN a player? That’s what I thought. Now youngsters, get RAVE and search for what BetaMax is. I’m serious. My money is on RAVE.

Been looking for something like this. Just tried this out and it is great! I have one complaint/suggestion and couldn’t find anywhere to give feedback on the app or website but there seems to be an issue with the audio chat when no one is talking. I love the idea of a ducker on the audio but when no one is talking and there is static the video is still ducking the static and seems like there’s a compressor to increase the volume of that static. Please add an option to turn off the ducker or add a noise gate on the mic because we want to keep the audio chat on while watching. Would be an easy 5 stars if the audio was solid.

Looked promising but doesn’t work. Like the title says it looked well developed and clean, but the UI is sketchy the interface is buggy, when trying to make a “rave” or group with one friend, it asked for my netflix account and the screen froze when I put in the credentials, then I restarted the app and had similar problems. Saw some sketchy reviews and I don’t know what to believe but I will just be calling my friend and watching at the same time. *Edit* Hey Rave, I know I need a Netflix password to watch Netflix content, if you read my review instead of implying I didn’t know how Netflix worked, you would have seen that I was UNABLE to use the APP after successfully logging into Netflix. I tapped my friends invite on iMessage: logged into Netflix inside the Rave app, the screen became blurry and white when I tapped sign in, and the app crashed. Updated my rating.

Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. I have read the reviews before I downloaded this app. There were half of the reviews saying the bad sides of the app like how it wants to steal your private infos and stuff, meanwhile the other half suggested the app based on some so called tech expert views. This app (rave- watch together) doesn’t offer any in app sign up and requires you to sign in with facebook, Twitter or your google account, this actually sounds fine. However, from my view point I always use google account in order to use these kinds of apps instead of using my social media account. So I went on logging in with gmail, TOTALLY BLOWN OUT, they wants to access my google drive and seek permission allow them to create edit or delete files stored in the google drive. I am sure most of you won’t believe this, GIVE IT A TRY, only then you will know. Like literally, I would prefer Watching movies with friends over FaceTime rather than this hypocritical apps. DONT GET CARRIED AWAY BY THE PAID POSITIVE REVIEWS for the sake of YOUR PRIVACY!!!!!

Netflix hacked twice. Every time I’ve used this app with Netflix, my password ends up “changing”, despite me not having changed my password at all. Initially, I thought this was an error until I saw that I couldn’t log onto my Netflix on other devices either. It’s occurred twice— and it always happens when I use Rave. In addition, the audio is a constant issue. Voice calls are always louder than the movie. There’s no way to fix it other than having both users log off the call, turn up the volume of the movie and then return to the call. This process has to be repeated every time the movie is paused or you leave the app. Overall, I loved the concept of this app from the start. It was great to keep up with long distance contacts, but these privacy issues and issues have kept me from enjoying Rave at all.

Horrible. I was using my moms Netflix account on this yesterday to screen record a scene, next thing I know I wake up this morning seeing my moms Netflix account hacked! This is horrendous. I’m pretty sure you guys took the Netflix account information and I know this isn’t a misunderstanding I will sue your company if I don’t get my account back. You have all my moms information in there and I can expose you guys to ruin your business. I want answers, and no excuses. Although I did enjoy watching but I just don’t like my moms Netflix account hacked it won’t let me log in and it’s the right password because when I logged in yesterday I saved the password and gmail so I can just use it instead of having to type it again, I’ve heard rumors that you guys have been hacking accounts with this, I should’ve of trusted them. I either get my account back or y’all will be sued. And I have my rights.

Scary app. Hi so me and friend of mine wanted to watch something together and we found the app called rave and we was so excited so we didn’t read any reviews we downloaded the app soon after 10 minutes we was trying to figure out the app and we saw location bottom and we clicked on it and it showed both of our locations me and friend tryed to take off the location and we couldn’t and scariest part is that it did let us know that it was going to show our location I feel the important thing is our safety because let’s be honest there’s a lot of creeps In the world on top of all of that some random guy join asking us where we live and then said our town we was living in and the other people joined and told us they trying to take there location off also asking the same questions we did after we had panic attacks we claimed down and someone else come and joined and we went to see if our location was still on and we the lady’s location and she at the market showing the same market and city she was at as much as me and my friend was so excited to use the app we had to delete as soon as possible also the app caused a lot of anxiety and panic attacks soon after my friend and I deleted the app I realized I had major trust issues in downloading other apps so if your reading this pls do not download this app if u don’t want your location exposed and feel violated

Doesn’t work with Netflix. The app doesn’t work with Netflix. When I try to host or join a Netflix watch party, the app just prompts me over and over again to sign in. I signed in to the same video like 10 times and it didn’t work. My friend had the same problem. According to a tweet from the Rave twitter account, they tried to fix Netflix related issues back in January 2021. Pretty disappointing that it’s a year and a half later and the Netflix bugs are still there, especially since Netflix compatibility is the biggest thing Rave advertises. Very frustrating and makes this app completely useless to me personally. Edit: coming back a year after my original review and the app *still* doesn’t work with Netflix. Are the developers making any effort to fix this?

great app // autoplay feature?. I really love this app, it's perfect for recording scenes or watching stuff with my friends. What is absolutely missing for me though is a feature where you can automatically play the next episode of a show on netflix. You have to leave the rave every single time, pick netflix again, pick the show again, pick the season, the episode... It takes way too long. I know that there is a possibility to "heart" episodes, but it's still a bit too complicated and I'd really appreciate if you could automatically play the next episode without leaving the whole thing. aside that, as I said, this app is great. :)

Horrible performance issues. I originally downloaded this app a couple years ago to watch a kids show with my ex boyfriend, and it worked fine. I used it a lot over quarantine to show my mum videos and watch commentary videos and TV shows like Crashbox with my girlfriend. It worked fine the first while I had it and then it gradually got worse. The premise of the app is great and the interface is very user friendly, even for a tech hag like myself. The thing is, no matter how strong my internet connection is, videos will take ages to load and sometimes not even load at all. Ill be staring at a black screen with a loading wheel on it only to realise that I wasted 5 minutes of my life waiting for a video to load when it wont. And I’ve tried to remedy this, but the app has become completely unusable. I’ve tried going to another rave, starting my own, force restarting my entire phone, restarting the app, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, disconnecting from my wifi to use my unlimited data… nothing works. I just can’t watch videos. They will load forever and sometimes the video player disappears entirely. I’ve tried hanging up calls to see if that’s the problem and it’s not. If I’m lucky the video will play but it’s extremely laggy and at a video quality so bad I cant even see what’s happening on the screen. I love the app but I literally cannot use it. A shame. My girlfriend has the same issue too, so I know it’s not just me.

scary dude. so me and my best friend were on rave watching a show and out of no where a guy joins and me and her thought he just wanted to watch the movie to but then got on the mic and told us to unalive are selfs and that he has are IP address and that he’s only 15 min away and the 15 min later I look up and I say a finger on my window I quickly grabbed my cat and phone and ran upstairs and called my friend to tell her what happened because we were both scared after he said that and I called her on the edge of crying I was shaking and we quickly logged out and deleted the app also there’s porn just showing up randomly when I’m just trying to watch movies and definitely not a safe app and it makes you have access to the camera but there is no camera fix ya app. You gave me a panic attack

Ummm. Ok. This app is terrible. There’s loads of people saying they go hacked and they it’s stealing info. I have never had any of those problems. My only issue is that everything is in Spanish. Like. I can’t find anything in English. I mainly use rave for karaoke with some friends. I know there are ways to make your room private or invite only. That’s fine. I just wish there was a way you, as the room leader or whatever it is, could choose who can use the mic. Like. In all the rooms I’ve been in you either have everybody muted, or everybody talking at once. Also, a good idea would to have a menu where you can choose what you’re looking for. Like, karaoke, movies, yt. Stuff like that. That way I don’t have to scroll all the way down to find a small karaoke room. Other than that. It’s fine. Could be better, could be worse.

DONT BELIEVE MISINFORMATION!!. hello! my girlfriend and i are in a long distance relationship and we have been using rave for as long as we can remember. these rumors that theyre “stealing” your information are plain lies. my netflix account has never been “hacked” or tampered with. they ask you to sign in like any other account. if you took the time to read their responses to the allegations, you would know that theyre a small company from canada just trying to provide the best streaming services foe everyone. rave is amazing. we love it so much and we continue to use it! thank you! ❤️

awesome way to entertain ourselves during corona. listen guys. i'm not sure why everyone is saying this apps steals your info. look through the responses and read the developer comments and explanations. okay so, this app is honestly amazing. it was super user friendly and easy to create a room. the invitation process was easy as well and my friends were able to join quickly. at first the quality was horrible so i made my friends hang up the facetime call. IMMEDIATELY the screen was normal as if i was watching netflix myself. the ability to type in the chat or turn on mics to speak to each other is so awesome. obviously they're not perfect mechanics yet, however they work and that's all that matters. We ended up watching movies all night and it was so fun. I would definitely recommend this to y'all!!

Could be better... The app is a nice idea and overall works well. It’s nice being able to watch different shows or videos with friends. However there are a few features that would make it better. When watching a Netflix series, it would be great to have the ability to skip the intro and credits. Also to have the next episodes already queued to watch next unless the owner of the rave queues something different. It’s annoying having to go back and find a series page to chose the next episode. I also think the Netflix search page should be updated or fixed because whenever you search for a particular series or movie it will not be the first thing to come up. Instead you have to scroll down just to find exactly what you searched.

I love it.. I hate to see all the bad reviews you guys are getting on your app. I’ve had it for a while, and only encounter problems when my internet is bad. Occasionally a video wouldn’t load but that’s just the nature of apps like this, can’t expect it to be picture perfect. The one thing I will say though, is this: I used to be able to call people and then open the app and watch videos like that, but an update made it so being on a call will not play videos. Please don’t take this negatively, though, it just meant we had to use the app’s built in microphone, which was a little less convenient but worked nonetheless. I appreciate all the work put into this app, and throughout all my uses, I’ve never had any issues with logins or “hacks.” It’s a great app, especially during this quarantine period. Keep up the good work, devs.

Amazing with some glitches. To start off, the app is amazing and works phenomenally almost all of the time. It's the only app that has actually allowed my friends and I to watch videos together. However, there are some issues regarding connectivity and glitches that should be brought to attention. Firstly, there's one glitch that causes your chats to not be able to send and effectively forces you out of the rave, even though you can still watch the video. This is easily fixed by force closing the app and rejoining, though. Secondly, another glitch causes certain raves to not open and stay on the loading screen, but this is minor and doesn't occur frequently. A question for the developers: would it be possible if TikTok compatibility is added to the app? It might be a stretch seeing how TikTok isn't based around videos, but it would be a really nice addition and would garner the attention of a younger audience.

Netflix Series on Rave.. I really like this app but there are a few things that I don’t like. One of the biggest things that I don’t like is that you can’t watch a tv series with someone on Netflix. Last night I was all excited because I wanted to watch a series with one of my good friends and then I realized that you can’t. A message will pop up saying “Error There was a problem loading this video”. No matter how many times you click retry it doesn’t do anything. The biggest reason I downloaded rave was to watch a series with someone and enjoy the series. I don’t know if there is a way around this to watch a series but what I’ve tried it doesn’t seem like it. Another thing that I don’t like about the app is that sometimes it lags. Other than these two things I love the app but I wish that you could watch series on rave.

Disney plus?. I really absolutely LOVE this app. For the longest time I’ve been trying to look for an app just like this so me and my long distance friends can actually watch movies together, but Netflix really has a low variety of movies and most are so boringgg. I was thinking if you could maybe add Disney plus? That would make this app perfect! Please take it into consideration! Also there’s this weird glitch, like when I friend someone they don’t show up on my friends list and I’m not able to invite them to my rave and then when I search for them again it says we’re friends but then when I go back it doesn’t show up on my friends list😭 pls fix this bug, that’s the only issue I seem to be having, but besides that everything seems to be running fine.

Good except a few things. I’ve been waiting for an app that lets you watch Netflix together cause it’s like all I ever use haha. And this app is amazing for that. But the few things I dislike is that I can’t see my friends reactions to the movies or shows. I think it would be more fun if you could have a video rave. With friends you could see their reactions while hearing each other. Another things is. When the mic is on you can’t really hear the movie as well. It’s very quiet until you both turn the mic off. The mic volume is very loud and covers up the movie sound. I’m not sure if there is a way to turn it down on the setting but I have not seen it. One last thing is, I use Bluetooth headphones and when I try to connect them to the Bluetooth button it connects for a few seconds but then it turns off and says “no Bluetooth devices found”. I don’t know if it’s because it’s already connected to my phone or.. something else but yeah :) just some things that would make your app better than what it already is. That is why I rated four out of five stars. There’s just a few things that could bump it up to five :) other than that I love it!

Huge Security Issues. So lately me and my girlfriend have noticed a few weird things happening on rave. We always thought it was weird how it shows our general location on a map. If it causes so much drama on the app and reviews, why not just remove the feature? Most people don’t want it anyways because it’s weird and uncomfortable. Rabbit didn’t have this and it thrived. The last few times I received a notification in the app itself like a :) message popping up from rave while watching a show in a private session. It wasn’t even a notification on my device. It was in the app itself like it has been compromised or something. What really made us end up deleting rave for good was someone actually joined our private session and changed the session privacy to from private to public. Then they played a random video and left. That just freaked us out and made us immediately delete this application. There is no excuse for this application to have that bad of security issues to this extent. I have no idea if they will ever fix this, but it really made me sad because this is the closest thing to rabbit that i have been able to find since it went down. I really hope there will be huge changes to security on this app and there is an official announcement regarding it all in full detail because it really was great app. What a shame.

Helpp. Me and my girlfriend were trying to watch some movies the first time i downloaded the app, it kept crashing as soon as i opened it, then after a while it got better, we were able to watch movies and it was working perfectly fine and we had a really good experience. But now its acting up again, after tapping on a movie(netflix) it loads for about 30 seconds then it takes me back to the netflix menu where you choose movies. I tried other movies but it was the same problem, i tried it one a different phone but it still wouldn't work. Please fix this, i really love your app and it makes it really easy for me and my girlfriend to spend time together over quarantine.

Pretty good. I wanted to look for an app where I can watch Netflix and other shows and movies on while during quarantine with my friends. This app works pretty well so far. The only thing I don’t like is that we can’t delete our history. Now I can say that I don’t watch any inappropriate things but you know when you get a notification saying someone invited you to their rave and you press on it. I actually did it on accident and now I’m freaking out... I wanted to show other people but I don’t want them thinking I like that type of stuff. I hope you could change that 🥺. Other than that the app is overall good I highly recommend it!

Badly Designed, honestly.. My partner and I got this app thinking it would be great to be able to watch shows and movies together with it. However, I soon deleted the app. It's very frustrating and badly designed. Adding somebody as a friend is frustrating. We eventually had to do it by joining the same public channel, finding each other in there, and adding each other that way. There is no simple way to just enter their email and add. The design of the app is simply bad. It's buggy, the position of the buttons is weird, the features don't work the way you would expect, there are some menus that you can't get out of without resetting the app, you can't edit your profile picture (not in any way I could find, at least), and the layout of the app when watching something looks simply terrible. I don't recommend this app.

Good, but hate the update.. I’ve used rate for the past few months and it’s especially fun to react and watch videos with other strangers. I’ve made plenty of friends on this app, (being a Kpop Stan). But I do experience a few bugs here and there. I’ve noticed from the most recent update that the layout is completely changed, which I hate. Not only is it not visually appealing, the thumbnail clips make the whole page seem messy and it’s just a bit distracting tbh. Everything else is perfect, though. What would make the app even better is if you could share your screen on it. That would be something a lot of people would enjoy.

Update created a monster. I can’t watch anything on RAVE anymore. iPhone XS Max and it will literally not play on my cell service connection. Speed test checked at 35Mb down and 22Mb up Google test. Then I click over to my home WiFi connection which is only 7.5Mb down/up and it’s slow, laggy and will not catch up. I sit there and stare at the black screen and my friend happily watches it play on their side with no warning I’m being left behind. If I open Netflix without the app both WiFi and cell network play the movie just fine. This app gives me trust issues!!! Ironically it worked great until the updates and Bug-Inductions started being incorporated. I really hope they come back around as this app used to be amazing.

DO NOT GET THIS APP. it took all my information and when i said no location it still knows your country and when i went to settings to see if it had location access even after i said no it still allowed it and when you log it it says “read the risks” it also has access to whatever account you signed into and immediately when you join it has a bunch of invites from asian people. and when i read the fine print it says “allow access to camera” do not get this app. when i left the app it still had access to my Netflix. i do not think they have the authority to use netflix because Netflix doesn’t allow you to share your password with random people (or in this case sites) AGAIN DO NOT GET THIS APP. i was talking about a show with my friend and i joined a random rave and it was the exact same show we were talking about. this constantly happened every day so we decided that there were to many red flags. it also says allow access to microphone even tho you don’t need it because you’re texting and not talking!!!!

Kinda glitchy, kinda... glorifies a terrorist?. I really liked using Rave to watch movies with some friends. As long as we don’t talk, we’re good. Sometimes when you turn on the voice, it gets glitchy and covers up the sound of the movie. There’s also no video feature that I think a lot of people wish for. It’s also kinda annoying how you have to log into Netflix to watch Netflix with friends. I understand it’s just a legal thing, but I wish I could just watch using my friend’s Netflix all together with our group. Or I wish there were a clear screen sharing option with no glitches so that we could kinda stream any service. Lastly, Rave sent users (including me) a “Happy Columbus Day!” notification. Not cool bro. Happy Indigenous Peoples Day!! Didn’t you get the memo?

don’t trust the “omg hacked!” reviews. I usually don’t write reviews but this one needs a positive review with all the lies spread in this review section. First of all, if you’re already suspicious with signing in via Google, you really need to use the internet more. 90% of all “create an account” feature on websites have signing in with Google as an option. Secondly, with Netflix, the sign in page is just mirrored from a web browser. They aren’t “tracking your passwords” or anything like that. The developers have explained why passwords have been getting changed multiple times, but people refuse to listen. Giant kudos to the developers for being so respectful with this. Great app, definitely recommend installing.

HACKS. Okay so the only reason I’m writing this is because I was genuinely afraid of this and barely saw ANY reviews talk about this so here I am. Me and my friend decided to use rave to watch Netflix together since theres nothing else to do during quarantine. About 30 minutes into the movie we were watching my Facebook gets logged into. I don’t even use Facebook anymore so this was definitely strange. I immediately change my password and go back into the movie. After about an hour into it my mom gets texts that multiple devices have attempted to log into our Netflix account, 3 separate devices. At this point me and my friend knew what had been happening. We are now in fear that someone will hack into our whatever, I just really hope that doesn’t happen. I also hope this review prevented you from getting hacked like this.

Connecting with mom. Rave is great for allowing me to connect with my mom in Connecticut. She lives alone and we have struggled with trying to watch movies together while getting the syncing just right. Rave has done it! It would be great if video could be added and I’m looking forward to that. For now, I also use FaceTime. I do wish there was a way for a Netflix series to continue on to the next episode without me have to look it up and start each episode one by one. If there’s a way, Maybe there’s a way and you can clue me in. If not, I’d love it if you would add it to your to do list! One more thing, I hope you will be able to add more streaming apps as well - Roku would be great! Thanks again!

Friggin Cool. One flaw. This app is surprisingly awesome. It allows me to connect with my GF while we are away from one another since our schedules don’t link very well. The voice audio is a little crackly but it’s great to see chat text roll across the bottom of the screen during whatever Netflix show we’re watching. To see her reactions and hear her freaking out just like we’re at home together really friggin knocks it out of the park for me. I love it. Try this app out, it’s exactly what you’re looking for. *Edit* So after doing everything possible I can think of this app still refuses to let me AirPlay on my Samsung 7 4K Smart TV. Why? I have no idea but I’ll change my review back to 5 stars when this issue is resolved.

creepy and stores your information. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP I downloaded this app, and immediately they asked for me to sign in with an already existing account. A facebook, twitter, or google account. Before you sign in to one of they say that they will access your information from the account. They do not give you an option to create an in-app account. They ask to know your location, even if you say no, it knows your country. If you sign in with any account and then log out, going back in to sign into the same type of account (if you have two google account or something and decide to use your 2nd one but already logged into the 1st one) it says you have logged into an account already, and then if you say to proceed, they sign you back into the 1st one. They store your email and password to the account. If you want to watch Netflix, even off of someone else's Netflix account in a "rave" room, they make you sign into a Netflix account. They store your data and have access to everything in whatever account you give them the password and email too. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP

Great app, really! (not a fake review). Though the bluetooth issue needs to be fixed (sometimes with my AirPods, they won’t connect or even show the bluetooth icon), I entirely believe that this app needs better ratings. Rave does not steal your info. It does what any social media platform does: signs you into an account from another social media. It’s just like going on TikTok and using your email as a backup. I’ve also seen people saying that it asks for camera use??? No, it doesn’t. Never does. That’s utterly stupid. This app has been an absolute miracle during quarantine and has kept my friends and me closer than ever. Thank you, Rave.

It’s a good app BUT…. It’s a great app to use. I’ve been using it for the lasts couple of years, and it always made me feel connected with friends that lives in another country. However, this app was recently removed from the USA. Then, some of friends that changed phones, or wanted to watch something together cannot anymore (including me). I know that you have to reach a certain threshold for Apple Inc. to include it again, so PLEASE, update it and put some new things, thus more people will download it, and we will have access to it again. This is a great app, the best I’ve ever used so far. If this is fixed I will recommend it to more people I know, and will give 5 stars! Thanks.

Good but needs fixed. me and my friend love this app except sometimes when I join her rave, it doesn’t even show (for her) that I joined and I would have to text her separately saying that I joined her and when it does that, it doesn’t let us talk to each other over the mic. It’s very weird but this is the only way I can explain this. Also, sometimes it’ll load very slow and I have really good WiFi. It loads and loads and takes forever. Then I exit the app and then I get back in. It loads and loads again and then kicks me out. Very confusing and I hope you guys can get this fixed. We watch movies all the time and would love for this to work. Thank you.

A Life Saver For My Long Distance Relationship. Me and my fiancé are long distance at the moment and we always have little mini dates throughout the week where we watch a show or movie. Before Rave, we were trapped into just using the apps that do SharePlay but now we can use apps like Netflix and have a bunch of different options we want to get into. The one thing that I wish the app did was it be more accessibility compatible. My fiancé is blind and he cannot navigate the app because there is no voiceover for the controls to show you how to get in to be able to start a rave. If you guys could add that and make the app a bit more polished this app would be golden!!!👍👍👍❤️❤️

Great app it just died is lacking people. This is a great movie app it works well with jo glitches i noticed the only problem is there isnt barely any people active on the app anymore the app should start putting ads on instagram and facebook too get more people too join the app again the app used to be so much fun last year in the summer when i was active then now theres only like 2-3 active english chats but never more than 10 people there used to be 20-30 people in chats i hate too see this app died out i miss the fun I used to have on this app thats why I redownloaded it

Love this app! Still some room for improvements. I’ve loved this app, it has allowed my long distance girlfriend and I to enjoy shows together! My only complaints is: the fast forwarding has been very difficult, so when we have to stop mid-episode it’s very difficult to fast forward back to where we left off. The main thing I want from this app (I’ve seen others request this on here too) is for there to be a feature where we can see each other while we watch. We’ve been holding off on all comedies and horror shows until we can see each other so that we can watch each other laugh and scream so I can’t wit for that! Also not as important but would be cool if y’all add HBO max and Disney+... but I love the app and can’t wait for the improvements!

Bad app. Me and my mom were about to get this app, but when my mom pressed the privacy policy button when asked to sign in with you email. It said this “if you chose to login to rave via your Facebook login, you authorize us the following Facebook account information: public Facebook profile and information (consistent with your privacy settings in Facebook), your email address, friend list,”- “in addition we may collect and store any personal information you provide while using our services, or in some other manner. This may include identifying information, such as you name, address, email address and telephone number” that is not even all of it. I would get the app and press on privacy policy and read for yourselves. This is a big scam to get your information, and the people who made this app should be ashamed. And developer, don’t bother responding.

The updates have been worse.. Me and my wife have been using this while I’m stationed far away and it worked great at first. It really made things easier to spend time watching our favorite shows and movies together. Although, over the past few months it seems to have been getting progressively worse with each update. At first it was just taking a few attempts to start a show because it would load then force quit the app right before the show started. After each update more and more would go wrong. It’s to the point now where after the most recent update the app just force quits in the middle of the show, the screen size will zoom and cut off most of the show, it’ll cycle between stating it’s offline and not allow me or whoever is watching on the other end to type or speak yet the show continues, and randomly kick the other viewer off the stream and not let them back on even after sending multiple invites and creating a whole new stream again. Very sad because we used this app a lot but if the issues aren’t fixed it’ll have to be deleted.

Used to love this app. This app used to be great. But you better hope you never get logged out of any streaming services otherwise you’ll never be able to log back in. Especially netflix. I have no idea what the issue is but it’s common enough that it’s happened multiple times and it makes the app practically useless. I get logged out and when it prompts me to log back into the streaming service it ALWAYS says my password is incorrect. Even though I can go and use that exact same password on the native netflix app or website and log in with no problem. Can you actually fix this issue or will the app continue to just render itself obsolete randomly and then fix itself randomly? It makes no sense and it’s getting increasingly infuriating. Also, sometimes the captions will say they’re on, but don’t show at all and you need to restart the rave/exit the app to fix it. And if you exit the app (keeping it in the background) while your friends are still in the rave and have it paused, when you return and press play again, more often than not the audio/visual will glitch and you have to totally close the app and re-enter the rave for it to work. Absolutely ridiculous that this app can’t even get the most basic of its features right…

READ BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD. I’m not one to ever write a review but with this app I will. Let me start by saying it’s an amazing app and more people should hop on it !! It’s great fun and you meet a lot of new people - 10/10. But... the downside to this app is our location being visible for everyone in the Rave that you join. It’s really annoying and very frustrating. What triggers me the most about my location being shared is the fact that I CANNOT REMOVE IT !! Everyone knows where I reside and the area I live in and for me personally it’s very dangerous and makes me uncomfortable. I’ve left suggestions to help better the app but I thought I’d be more vocal about this issue. I have tried all sorts of methods to remove my location, I’ve disabled all my location setting in my phone settings. Removed it in my google account and when the pop up appeared for privacy location, I selected that I didn’t want my location seen. BUT WHAT DOES RAVE DO ? IT SHARES IT ANYWAYS AND FOR ME THAT IS A FLOP !!! Please do something about this issue because although we want to enjoy your app, you are giving away our location without our consent.

Suggestions. So first off, this app is great for watching things with your friends, obviously, and the video and sound quality is great. For my iPad at least. I have a few suggestions for some apps to add though, if that is possible. Like crunchyroll, animelab or funimation! Because their websites don’t always work with Rave and it’s stressful if I wanted to watch something on there with my friends. If that’s not possible though, it’s okay! This is still a great app and I’ll definitely use it more, and I definitely recommend it.

Video call!!!. I joined the app recently, and i can say i am totally loving it. Now i can watch movies with my long distance bestfrnd. The only thing i am sad about is it doesn’t have the video call feature anymore. I joined the app mainly for that feature so i can see her while watching the movie. Hope this can be added again.

Rave. This app would not work for me at all. It would not let me sync what I was watching to my tv (google casting) like it’s supposed to. All it would do is sit there and spin. I was very disappointed I hope I was doing something wrong so it would be my fault not theirs because I really wanted to watch something together with my friends and chat. But unfortunately it was just not working. Only worked on my phone ;(

Really awesome app. This app is really awesome and one of the cleanest UI's I have ever seen I wish all apps were like it (First review I have ever left for an app!) - one issue though is when I try to load a video on vimeo it says "Error loading video" and I tried many different videos, some 1 minute long others 20 minutes but they all displayed this error message. Is this a known bug or is there some way I can fix this?

Warning!- Can edit and view all your files. If you sign in with a google account, you allow access for Rave to edit, view, see and delete all your files in google drive. Very dangerous if you have confidential information in google drive; read the privacy/account access privilege warnings!

Buffers again and again but videos doest play on Netflix. Its very good app but I have trouble loading Netflix videos it buffers and then it starts over again to buffer I reinstalled app so many times also did hard reset my device but no luck

Viki. Hi. I got the app less than an hour ago and I’m loving it already but I’m confused as to why I can’t watch Viki? It doesn’t even come up as an option for me to click and create a Viki party? I have an account and have used Viki before but I can’t find any reason as to why it’s not coming up for me? Is it a technical error?

Unreliable connection to Chromecast.. Only shows the ‘Nearby devices’ dialog when connecting to Google Chromecast and even then it freezes in the next screen. If it can’t reliably support Chromecast this App is useless to me.

Amazing but could be so much better with a few updates!. Got the app a few days ago now that I’m in iso and I love being able to watch Netflix with my friends! The only downside now is that when I sign into Disney plus I can’t put my pin in to continue. The new Disney plus feature allows MA movies and shows to stream but a pin is needed to allow the account to watch that. So maybe if that was fixed that’d be amazing!!!

Not working on iPhone. When I first downloaded this app it was amazing and could watch with my family that are interstate .. now it won’t play Netflix on our iPhones and we can’t update the app either. Please fix this!

Amazing. It’s not as bad people are making it out to be. I watch Netflix with my friend and it works perfectly. It missed a star when you have to create a whole new room for another episode. However, it’s still awesome and the only app i use :) love it!

MASSIVE PRIVACY ISSUES. Be warned!!! When you sign in using a google account the app wants access to all google drive files including permissions to edit and delete. It is UNBELIEVABLE and so unnecessary. Stay away, keep your privacy secure. This is so dodgy.

DONT USE THIS APP, LEAKS UR INFORMATION!!!. this app leaks ur information and passwords, me and my friend used the app to watch Netflix together and her Netflix password got leaked and random people were using it. eh. i like the concept of this app. its very fun to watch stuff with friends but the biggest downside is IT IS SO GLITCHY !!!!! 70% of the time the videos don’t play no matter when platform you’re watching on. the chat also glitches where other people cannot see your messages. even if you restart everything ( the app , your phone) nothing changes. I know it’s not my connection as other ppl have the same issues. its quite frustrating.

Why is there need to delete our google drive files, it’s kinda sus. Idk why but I don’t think there is need to see people we share files with, delete files etc. if I’m going to use this app I’d like my privacy not shown. There is no other way to login except to share our information with you. Perhaps offer a normal login with email or login with Apple. Otherwise expect people to be suspicious as you are REQUESTING our personal information with no other option. If you don’t want people to be suspicious- give another option that doesn’t ask for access to our personal email or personal Facebook data.

possible improvements idk. is a great app,, but i would love it best if it gave access to say crunchyroll or animelab since my friends and i want to watch anime shows together but cant find the right platform and instead have to watch netflix versions which usually dont have all the seasons on it etc.

It’s good, but has technical issues. The app is great for watching videos with friends, but lately I’ve been experiencing weird bugs within the app. The big one being that when a friend turns off their microphone, the app will say the person left the Rave, when they didn’t. Sometimes when they have their mic on, you can’t hear them; especially if you go into another app to do something while using the Picture in Picture feature. I have also experienced audio feedback where I can hear my own voice on the other end when there is no debris in my phone, my signal is good, and there is nothing wrong with my phone case. Please fix these issues for a better experience, Rave. Thank you.

Nice. I heard a bunch of bad reviews from it but when I tried it out I saw no issues whatsoever ever I think it’s a great app for people like me who don’t have Netflix party or other ways to watch movies and videos with their friends and is a great way to social with other people too. (Note: to watch Netflix all the people in the rave need to have their Netflix account signed in before using which I find is kinda bothersome)

Horrible don’t use. I just got a brand new iPhone and this app worked worse than it did with my old phone. I can’t use the chromecast to get it on my tv and it glitches every time you try to send a message. You’re better off just trying to sync watching tv while FaceTiming your friends.

Cannot watch Netflix even after signing in. It keeps asking me for sign in, I did sign in 1000 times but still keep showing me to sign in, don’t proceed to the video. I feel it’s some kind of bug. But please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

daily user of the app. I use this app a lot to call a friend and watch something on youtube/netflix, there’s a lot of audio bug but it’s the only app i found where the audio is good AND you can watch stuff with other people. I really wish there was a facetime option in it because the audio works really well.

Do not log into Netflix. Wether they are stealing account info or not, it’s not secure to use, got my Netflix account stolen within the next day had to call Netflix, someone from Palestine had changed all my login info. Scary event to happen, just be careful. Even tho wether it’s stolen by a third party or not, but that’s what I think happens. They replied to my last review by saying I was spreading false rumours and that they do not appreciate me doing so, trying to act like victims. They said it had never happened and that it must be a family member. Dude, I think I’d know, this is my account and mine only. Instead of denying someone’s review, review your own app and make it secure. You are not helping yourself or anyone else. I had deleted my last review because I started feeling bad, even tho what I said was 100% true. Now seeing other reviews of others to whom this also happened, I regret having deleted it. Audio language issue. Some of Netflix series are dubbed in hindi but in rave we cant watch that in hindi there is no option of hindi there is other languages except hindi. Its a bed thing we want to watch the series or movies with friends in our language please fix this as soon as possible

Rave. I like the app is great the only thing that i don’t like is that you need to have for example Netflix account to see a movie of Netflix that’s good for the ones that are are showing the movie in live but the people that can’t see movies from other people because they don’t have Netflix or Disney or other account. I thought the app give a opportunity to those that don’t have those apps to see movies from those app from people that are showing it in live but it’s not like that and I don’t like that..

This app is the go to for any media sharing. I had used AmpMe a couple months back but stopped after noticing a decrease in quality and introduction of payments for just being able to use the app. Not only is this app much cleaner visually, but the navigation is simple and has much more to offer in streaming services. I love the theme of the app and it even lets you listen while off the app! It’s really great and I seriously believe it’s an app that everybody should have downloaded on their phone, regardless of who you are. Definitely a must have app!

The best app I could ask for but. This app is amazing I use it to watch Netflix with my friends and my girlfriend and I don’t really have any problems either except for the mic sometimes but that doesn’t really bother me that much since we don’t really talk we just text in the chat. But I really would love if you can add anime streaming service like Crunchyroll to Rave cause I really want to watch anime with my girlfriend and this could be the only app that I could possibly hope to do that it would mean so much if you did.

Please Read. I love the idea of this app. t’s pretty cool that you can watch different videos/shows with your friends. However, My BIGGEST issue and something that’s terribly difficult for me to get over is how early it cuts the videos/shows off. Me and my boyfriend enjoy watching Netflix series together and I get so irritated with how soon it ends and prompts us to choose the next episode. Also the video freezes up very frequently and the audio doesn’t play a lot of times. I’m still giving 3 stars because I think overall the concept of the app is a very savvy. Hope y’all take this feedback into consideration it definitely has a lot of potential!

Trash!. This app requires you to sign into your Netflix account to watch Netflix titles, fair enough. What’s not cool is how my Netflix account was hacked the day after downloading and using the app, along with my password and email being changed. It was fixed with a quick call to Netflix customer service but I can’t help but think it was this app that led to the breach. Save yourself the trouble and DON’T download it. UPDATE: RAVE responded claiming it was the account holder or their parents who change the password b/c they see a new login and become worried. I am the only person with access to my Netflix account, so this logic is clearly flawed. They asked me to change my review, I think not. I would give it no stars if I could. Poor customer service all around.

Problem with FaceTime. There is an issue with the app where if you’re on FaceTime or any kind of audio call on iPhone the video will lag really bad and there will be no sound so it’s literally unwatchable. If you want to watch and type to someone then the app is great for that but the voice chat on the app seems to be really buggy, like if you’re talking to someone and leave your mic on for a while the audio seems to get behind on the voice chat. Also don’t like how when you turn your mic on the video turns down, I would enjoy being able to watch a video as well as talk to my friends instead of having to type everything. Other than these things the app is great just please fix this FaceTime bug. 🙏🏻

I LOVE RAVE. Rave is such a good app and a lot of my friends love ti use it it’s so fun and helpful thank u so much and I love how u guys let us chat and watch the movie it’s so cool it’s the closest experience to in person and nobody feels left out and it’s really chill and amazing also we live that it’s not only one network and multiple so thank rave me and my friends has had very good moments on this app with connecting thru movies and just ah hung out so thank u so much I rate this five star because it’s so amazing !!

DONT GET THIS APP. First of all, IT WONT WORK and made me sign into my Netflix literally like 10 times and it wouldn’t skip or anything it was very frustrating 😡 AND it makes u give all of your info, your Netflix and password, google, Facebook, etc. I do not feel safe downloading this app bcus I feel like I will get hacked and I especially don’t want to be hacked on my Netflix. The worst thing is, I got this app then read the comments on it like an hour later and so I got freaked out and deleted it but now I can’t even sign out and I’m scared its gonna save my passwords etc. DONT GET IT, I’m obviously not positive but it seems sketchy and don’t take the chance of it hacking ur accounts.

Great app and well made. Love this app and use it all the time for lonely nights. Works well, does what it need to very well, and has a bunch of options of where to stream videos from. Overall, a great app that does EXACTLY what it advertises. If I had to add one feature, it would be an option to vibrate or, in some way, notify you when someone says something to the chat. This would be a very useful feature but in the meantime, Ill be perfectly fine with whats here. In conclusion, good app. Get it.

Network issues. Before the network issues popped up, there was a big issue with trying to download the update whenever I came onto the app it would tell me that there was an update available but when I came to update it through the App Store it wouldn’t let me there was no update button no nothing. Now all of a sudden it let me download the update but when I went to go and invite my friends onto raise so we could watch Netflix together it kept saying that there was network issues but my network is totally fine I have no idea what’s going on with your app but you guys really need to fix it. Sincerely, A very upset user!!

fix?. As a video editor and someone who loves watching movies, I love this app, but lately it’s been not letting me watch anything. At first I thought it was my phone so I restarted it and messed with it but that still didn’t work, so I uninstalled it for a few hours hoping that would fix it, but when I reinstalled it, it still wasn’t working. It might still be my phone, but I really don’t think it is anymore. If there’s a way you can fix this, can you try? If there isn’t, I apologize for bothering you. I really do love this app, it usually works really well.

Disgusting. Terrifying. Sketchy. A Bad Decision.. Never download this app. I was just trying to have a fun night with some friends but it all went downhill the minute I download this application. First of all, I signed in with my Google Account, which was the initial mistake that would soon turn into many more. After signing in, I went through the basics of the app and was asked to sign in with Netflix. I complied. This was the second mistake I made during this never-ending nightmare. My friend and I attempted to watch a 5-star, high quality film but it was hecka glitchy. I’m talking, 1 frame per minute glitchy. We then got off the app and read some fellow reviews. At this point I was horrified. We disconnected everything that we could and notified our friends of this discovery. Whatever you do, do not download. I am appalled.

takes your information. basically when you go to make an account on this app, they only allow you to do so with pre-existing social media accounts (google, twitter, and facebook). By doing this they request access to all of your personal data in those accounts you use to log in with. For example when i logged in with google it was requesting to grant access to all of my google drive and allowing it to share and download the files saved to it. Also not to mention you have to link your Netflix account up to the app, which would easily allow them to access your account. Overall, this app is just a scam to steal your personal account information.

Not Good. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!! They stole my email information and hacked into it. Not a great experience. I was trying to have a fun night with friends but instead the next day I had been hacked and immediately defeated the app. I am very discouraged with how this app works. Although it is a good idea. If the creators of the app are just not seeing that they have hackers or that they are stealing personal information from people just trying to have some fun then rather way do not download the app. I still am severely sick that they did this and they should be shut down immediately. This app is a gate way for hackers and nothing that they will respond and say will change the fact that they hacked my email and I am vet upset because of it. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!!

mess.. So this app used to be a way of me and my boyfriend watching movies when we aren’t near one and other, and it would work okay in the beginning like it would sometimes skip or lag the videos we played, the chat would also lag and the voice chat was a mess. Then after awhile it just completely stopped working, like I could click on a room to join and it would just show the loading symbol for literally hours.

Fix RaveDJ. Yeah it's fun to watch movies and shows with friends, but we all play "RaveDJ roulette" in our groups to make either bizarre or surprisingly good remixes... but we haven't been able to for months. This is like my favorite past time when we all get on. Fix it. We shouldn't have to beg for months on end for this to be a priority. This was the only thing separating this platform from any other watch party and frankly if I wanted to only watch movies with friends I'd just download something else considering how laggy and unpredictable the supposed "basic function" of this app is anyhow.

This app needs a lot of work. This app is great but there’s major problems with this 1. The talking part of the app doesn’t work really well it’s laggy and when I’m in messanger with my friends I cannot hear them talk. The sound quality is really low. It may have something to do with sound outside of the app but it’s just annoying because when I’m using another app my sound barely is hearable on this app I’m using Netflix btw please developers do something about this this is a great app just needs more fixing!

Glitch. This app used to work so fine and I never had an issue, but for the past 3-4 months, it seems to glitch so much! Often times I cant see the texts of the person who I am raving with. They have to leave and join back several times and even then it works fine for about 3-5 minutes and same issue. We both have our app updated to the latest version and check our wifi/data connection frequently to make sure its working fine. We even started to dismiss other apps that are open in the background. Nothing seems to be solve this issue.

Potential, but need fixing. This app is a great idea, but there are a couple aspects that make it not worth using that could be easily fixed: 1. I often notice, when I create a room, the video does not display even though it is playing for other parties in the room. Its just a blank screen for me. This happens more often than not. 2. I only use the app with friends, so this doesn’t bother me as much, but displaying the location of the users is weird, sneaky, and potentially dangerous. The feature should be removed entirely. If the goal is to track data — do it without displaying. The fact that its even there is a huge red flag.

yikesss. don’t recommend. don’t get me wrong, it’s an awesome idea, but there’s so many risks and red flags. first of all, it asks for ALL your information. it not only asks for your location, but for access to all of your information through google and netflix. secondly, it asks to allow mic usage, even though there’s no verbal through-the-phone chatting involved, only texting. also, half these rooms seem like bots, because there’s never anyone talking, other than yourself or few other real people. i’ve heard many story’s where people’s netflix accounts get hijacked or deleted. if you enter your information, change your password IMMEDIATELY. lastly, it’s not effective, whether it’s legitimate or not. it’s laggy and hard to chat with. PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP.

It won’t even let me use the app!. Okay so I went to have a movie night with my girlfriend since we are long distance for another 2 months. That’s what we do for dates. We haven’t been able to have a date in 2 weeks because the app has been crashing on me and not even loading up the full loading screen. It even wouldn’t let me sign into my account so I had to make a new one and STILL did the same things. I’m very very VERY upset.

It’s good. Yeah, I really like this app cause i get to have movie night with my friends while staying in quarantine. One thing I do not like about this is that when me and my friends use the mic it’s usually really loud, maybe fixing it by adding a microphone volume setting allowing you do change the volume of the microphone/movie? I don’t know but overall I really like this app I definitely recommend it I like using it an watching movies with my friends

SCAMMED ME Would give 0 stars if I could. Hello unsuspecting teenager here. I got this app so I could watch videos with my friends during social distancing. We were looking for good quality apps and let me tell you this is not one. THIS APP SCAMMED ME. Once I had made an account it took my login and began to hack. Dear person in Thailand I don’t know who you are and i don’t care but boy do I have some words for you! PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS APP!!! It will scam you and you will have to spend 2 hours changing all of your passwords because you thought this would be a good app. SPOILER ALERT IT WAS NOT. Please please please do not get this app and learn from my horrible mistakes. Also if you read this please give it a like or say it was helpful or whatever because THIS APP WILLLL SCAMMMMM YOUUUUU!!!!

Excellent. This app has been a great way for my friends and I to stay in touch and watch Netflix together while we are stuck at home! We’ve tried using chrome extensions on our computers, but none of them have worked as well as this app. My only complaint is that it is not currently possible to use to watch shows on Disney+ with friends, but hopefully this option will be available at some point in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

Worst app ever!!!. Whenever i Join or make a room the video never ever shows it to me! It always a black screen till half way the video and i couldn’t even hear audio. Sometimes it says i left the room when i never even left it! My friends don’t get my messages nor i don’t get theirs either!! Sometime when i’m the leader of this chat it takes my leadership off it and give it to someone else. It would also mark me as offline when i never leave the app. I always have hope when you guys have an update for bugs fixes but it never ends! I really hope this glitch will stop. It seriously annoys me but i do enjoy watching videos with my friends. Please do something about this bug.

Do a little better.. Don’t get me wrong this app is good not everything is perfect but I wish there’s 3 things rave would fix. ——————- 1. Update the web browser. Every video should be able to play on Rave. Like when I want to watch anime. I want to go public with it also my sound do not play when I try to watch —————————- 2. I’m confused on why everyone has to sign in on a streaming service I can understand Netflix because they are stingy but for every other streaming service why do other people need to sign in if I’m the host or if they’re the host and they’re sharing there streaming service for other people to watch with by going public ———————— 3 . Fix the casting. There’s trouble trying to cast on rave. I would like to cast a show on my tv and still be able to use the mic on my phone type on my phone. ———————— I would like to see a few more things as just awesome things rave has done. Good but won’t work recently. I LOVE this app so much because I can watch movies with my boyfriend who I can’t see right now because of the pandemic. But the app went down a little while ago and ever since then I haven’t been able to play titles it just has the loading screen for a while and says there’s a network issue but my wifi is really good so there shouldn’t be an issue with that. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and checked for updates and to no avail. I’d love for it to be fixed and then it would definitely be 5 stars but besides that I love the app.

please fix this. i don't know if this is just my problem, but when i use rave and want to watch netflix by myself or w my friends, the movie never loads. it takes forever, and when i get a response, it just says "Error". it rarely loads, & when it doesn't it gets super annoying. i deleted and redownloaded rave to see if that would work, but it didn't, it's still slow and doesn't work. please please fix this, or if i'm doing something wrong please let me know

TOXIC PPL. The app is good, but you guys need to take care of your users. People on the app don't even use the app to watch videos. They use it to start fights and to threaten people. I've seen users threaten to hack people,dox them,find their IP,etc. A lot of the people also are racist and use hate speech. Also, you hide porn raves, but not racist raves. I've seen people who watch videos that are about hating black people. You should take more care of this app and allow a feature that lets you report people. This app has gotten toxic and you guys let these terrible evil people run around in app that is no place off that.

Bluetooth Issue. Hello, I noticed that this app doesn’t seem to support AirPods. Several times I have tried to connect my AirPods to rave and it just wouldn’t work, or it would work for a short period of time and the automatically disconnect on its own. Throughout watching videos it would continue to discontent and reconnect and it was very frustrating. Also, I noticed that when you try to have your AirPods connected the video that you are playing will begin to lag and glitch. If this issue could be fixed I would definitely give this app a 5 star, but for now it’s a 3.

Good, but the call option glitches. The whole reason we got Rave was so we could talk to each other during movies. At first, when using the microphone, we had a good connection and the volume was decent, and the movie we were watching didn’t get quiet when the microphone was on. However, now, when I or someone else taps the microphone, it makes the movie/video volume really quiet. If there was a way that each person could control the volume they get, this app would be one of my favorites. Like, being in control on my own device if my friend’s audio are louder than the video’s audio, or vice versa. Thanks.

Great app. I wanted to find an app that would let me watch things with my friends, and as far as I know, this is the best one. It’s pretty easy to navigate. I don’t know why so many people are leaving bad reviews, I personally read the developer’s response, and the claims some people make are ridiculous. How could an app “steal” your info if you sign in on another browser?! All I recommend is adding an optional “video call” and maybe some more options for things to watch with your friends, like twitch. Amazing app, keep up the good work!

Amazing app but….. I really enjoy using this app to watch shows with my long distance girlfriend but lately HBO Max hasn’t been working… “Log in or sign up with HBO Max” even though her and I are clearly logged in. I would log out and log back in and then try creating a Rave, but it still gives me that pop up!!! I ended up deleting and re-downloading the app to see if it would finally work… it doesn’t.

Bugs. So I was searching for a good fun app to watch some shows with my friends and this app was recommended. When downloading it was easy and simple to learn how to work it and took a moment for everybody to get everything working, however, as soon as I started the stream it was going well until it would pause on my screen but continue for the other party. I would try to fix it by pausing unpausing, rewinding forwarding, and even restarting. It kept stoping at the time stamp 2:01 but continued for my friend. Honestly I had high hopes for this app but it’s gotten annoying and I’m not enjoying the experience. These bugs need to be fixed!

Wouldn't recommend. When I first tried Rave I was ecstatic, especially because of how isolated I've been from my friends and significant other due to the virus. Everything about Rave was good, but the hook is that it started crashing randomly, it wouldn't allow you to finish the movie without lagging bad enough to force you out of the app resulting in you missing chops of the movie itself,and not to mention it has removed the only movie app option that lets you watch the movie without the other person having to own an account unlike Netflix. I'm kind of disappointed because other than that I have little to no use for the app, and I will be uninstalling it in search of a more functional and open in variety instead. Do not waste your time on this app.

I got this app for me and my friends to watch some videos and the first thing it asked me was either to sign in using gmail, twitter, and something else. I used twitter. It’s a third party app obviously so it said it would see what I would tweet etc. Proceeded and asked me for bluetooth, camera, microphone, and location. I was confused because this app doesn’t need a camera or location, it’s unnecessary. I saw that it knew where I was even when I didn’t allow location. I knew this app was sketchy. It will steal your private information!! If you’re using this app please change your password immediately and revoke access!!

Really?. So I download the app, super hyped to watch this TV show with my friends, right? Then I get into the group and it says “you need to log in to Disney +.” No where in the app does it say that all people in the group need to have the streaming service to watch the content. I’m immensely disappointed. Also, I’ve a couple other complaints. The structure in the app is so user-unfriendly that it took me almost an hour to figure out how to watch anything, create a group, add friends, etc. not only that, but a lot of times, the content on the “Public” list that appears right when you open the app is often not suitable for kids who might be using the app. Even as an adult, I don’t find it fun to open the app to a video about a women’s r*pe testimony. Not cool.

Would be nice is if it actually worked. I’ve had this app for a while now and there always seems to be an issue. I used to have Rabbit before they sold it. Rave was the best next thing I could find that worked alright. But I feel like it’s bee getting worse instead if better. First of all I can even play 20 min long videos anymore. The app always freezes or it kicks me and my boyfriend out. Or it restarts the app on its own. There’s so many issues with this app and I’m kinda getting tired of it. I wish they would make rave better.

Great app! Does NOT steal info. I love this app, with the quarantine going on it makes it easy to be connected with your friends. This app does not steal any information. The reason it asks for location, etc is so that if you live in a region that speak a different language it can adapt. Every single app/website asks you for your email, or Facebook or some way of contacting/connecting you. This is not abnormal. It is completely safe and fantastic to use! I only ask that it becomes easier to use on iPad :)

They should add a report button. Someone just trolled me and my bf. We were watching funny videos and someone came in and dropped a message wishing that I die of congestive heart failure and he left the group. Idk how some stranger can wish ill to another person for no apparent reason at all. It was supposed to be a happy night for bonding for us since my bf got covid but it totally ruined the mood. I hope I can report trolls like these people cause It really was brutal to wish someone like that when my friend is suffering from that disease.

The best app!! But.... Okay this app is amazing!! I love it very much but what I don’t like is if I invite a friend to watch Netflix they have to sign in. In order for them to watch it and I don’t like that I want them to watch it freely and if they don’t have an account they can’t see what I’m seeing so if you guys could you know work on that .. that would be great for my friends I’m still giving this a 5 stars bc I like it

Works as advertised, could use some improvements/bug fixes. Good app to watch movies with friends. One suggestion I would make is when in full screen mode when you swipe left it takes you to other video suggestions, I would make it go to the chat option instead of having to click the chat icon every single time. I also had issues with the AirPlay in which it did not want to broadcast. I tried with other apps and it worked fine so not sure why it wasn’t working on here. Secondly I do wish there was a way to pay to remove ads.

Bring viki back please!. What’s the point of replace viki with the web if the web doesn’t let you watch it with your friends? My friend and I only used use this app because it was the only app that let us watch viki together even though we weren’t in the same room. No we can’t do that. We tried using the web to do it, but it doesn’t let us add each other to watch it. That doesn’t even matter because the web doesn’t even let you play the show. I really don’t get what the point of replacing viki was, but please make an effort to bring it back. I get to see my friend once a year twice at most, and this was the only way for us to do things together. Now we can’t even do that. Thank you.

Good App But..... This is a really nice,easy, and clean app. It does have a couple of bugs. One of the biggest cons of this app I would have to say is the microphone option when watching a movie or video. The microphone is so loud and so echoey you cant even have it on while watching the video with your friends. On top of the microphone being buggy. Even when you plug in you headphones the persons every move is sonified and LOUD. So you can't even hear the video or movie your watching! Sometimes you can barely understand what the people are understanding too. It really needs to be fixed....

Audio Maintenance. The app is fine and it plays well barely any latency and most of the time it’s HD, however, this is an app where you’re supposed to watch it with a friend, why is it that the main feature of being able to converse while the movie is playing doesn’t work well. The people talking is always too high and you can barely hear the movie. Even on the settings of the app when you put the video on blast. It does not do anything. I enjoy using this app but that is the biggest issue by far

Great App!. I love this app because I made so many new friends that I watch videos with a lot. But one thing I think would be a good addition is if there was a thing that could tell you if your friends are active. I would love that because then i could know if they’ll actually join my rave. Other than that, I think the app is really good and the other things that I would love to be added are on other people’s reviews. Thank you for this amazing app!

Hacking?. Listen it seems like a good app and i was going to use it too screen record episodes because i am a editor. But if you would like to watch something on, for example: disney plus. you would have to give Rave your login details which seems suspicious.. But i haven’t actually gave Rave my login details because that’s really suspicious so i don’t trust it but that can’t stop you from downloading the app If it didn’t ask for my login information then it would be a pretty cool app! Until then i’m not redownloading this app

Disappointed. Me and my friends got this app so we could watch movies in quarantine and it worked the first time and we had a ok experience watching but when multiple people turn on their mic you can’t hear what everyone is saying other wise good. When I tried to get on again to watch a different movie it would not let me and said the rave had ended. It had not for a fact ended I have tryed exiting closing re download and nothing worked I’m disappointed I really wanted to watch with friends and this is one of the only free ones with Netflix.

Works when it wants. The app has so much potential but it really works when it wants to . Not sure if that’s because too many people use the app( which logically doesn’t even make sense but giving it the benefit of the doubt ) . At first it worked perfectly fine but then it got to a point where I can only stream certain things because appearently ( certain shows weren’t available in my location even though if I go on netflix I would be able to watch those same shows that rave claim is unavailable For me to watch due to location . But this app has so much potential please fix this issue !!!

Great but somehow infuriating. Good for Netflix but it’s touch and go, 50% of the time it works flawlessly then tho other 90% of the time (I know how to math, but this is true somehow???) it just refuses to load the video and you have to restart the app 12 times before it actually starts working again. Not sure if it’s the network connection or what, but with an impatient girlfriend this does make it difficult. But watching show with the boiz, works every time.
