You Need to Properly QA Your App. Here’s the use case: Ordered something that appeared to be in stock. It is not in stock. Text says make a substitution. The substitution takes me out of the app, to a mobile web page. I have no credentials, nor should I be taken outside of the app. I attempt to purchase something new via the app. The substitution is not recognized, so I’m being charged for the out of stock item and the new item?! Clearly, this was not thought through. You need to fix this. The responsibility of the charge and refund should not be on the customer. Until this is fixed, I’m not using the app.

Used to be good.. Won’t use them anymore. They used to give you an eta and then turn up in that time. The last two occasions the eta grew longer and longer to point where I might as well have gone to store and bought it myself in a quicker time frame. The last time this happened my order was accepted at 6.48pm and the eta went 7.26 to 8.40. No message, no reason, nothing. I asked for them to cancel the order and they issued a $7.99 charge. Outrageous and rude. There issue not mine yet they saw no problem telling me that the charge was “ non negotiable” I’m done with them. As I said, used to be great but I don’t what happened and I don’t tolerate poor treatment. Plenty of other services out there.

Awesome And fast. My first time using app. They sent a notification that my order was picked up. They sent reminders of when the delivery will take place. They sent a notification with link to substitute one of the items that was sold out and have suggestions for replacement. My delivery guy Bryshere ( love the name) texted me 5 minutes before arrival. Since it was my first time they needed to scan my ID. It went very well. I was surprised to see that he was not wearing anything to protect himself though. No mask no gloves. He was very professional and the whole thing took less than 1 minute. I didn’t realize that tips are given through app after the exchange, so I gave him cash tip. I am so glad there are people brave and committed to their work to help those who can not or choose not to risk exposure.

Okayyyy. So the liquor stores around my area were closed because of covid. I needed to restock and heard about some apps that deliver alcohol. As I searched on the App Store I came across Saucy. I was decided to give it a go because the rating were great. I text the number to make sure they were still operating since we were on lockdown. Sure enough someone answered and was extremely responsive. My delivery came on time and my order was accurate! The delivery person was friendly as well. My only issue with the app is the tracking map, I think they could improve on that but I will not deduct a star. I prefer customer service and quality over me looking at a map :). I would definitely recommend using Saucy!

Great Service. My order has been late a couple of times, but here is the main thing: DO NOT come to the door with bare bottles in hand! Subtlety, please. And let us take the bottles out of your Saucey bags inside the door while checking ID! I was house-sitting with nosy neighbors. Having said that the customer service response is stellar - and you can’t fault a wine delivering app. Prices are a little high, but I get it. Your saving me a trip to the store! Work in the promptness and subtlety and you e a stellar gig!

Irrelevant now that other apps offer alcohol delivery. The app still has a clunky UX despite being one of the first alcohol delivery apps on the market. I placed an order recently and it apparently uses DoorDash to fulfill orders now. What is the point of even using the app when you can just order via DoorDash ? Also, one of the items in my order was out of stock, and the app did not even notify me of this issue. No text, no push notification, no email, no phone call, NOTHING. The delivery driver showed up at my door an informed me it was out of stock, then told me I would have to contact support to get a refund. What a travesty. I contacted them and thankfully they responded (I swear this service is propped up by hamsters at a datacenter somewhere) and were able to issue a refund. This app has had years to improve and has instead slowly degraded into irrelevance. This will be my last order on this app.

Bad. It was a great app. Delivers always on time. Now it’s bad. They last 4 times Ive ordered there’s been an issue: the driver never shows up. On the app it’ll give you updates so you are thinking everything is okay but once the app says the driver is basically arriving that when things go downhill. The driver’s don’t answer the phone or respond to messages. First the support team told me I didn’t have any notes to call when they arrived AS IF THATS NOT COMMON SENSE to call to let someone know you are here. So I added very detailed notes still never got the item. The support is very useless. They don’t know anything or aren’t helpful at all. You’d think they’d give some type of accommodation for their lack of knowledge or even their driver’s negligence but nope. They just tell you it’s coming and to just wait. You’ll be waiting for the rest of your life.

Wow 😊. I was having a bad couple days and then after shopping and getting some things done I realised that I was out of cigarettes , so I had heard from a friend that I could order online!!!!! Wow not much sleep but went on my search online and first up was Saucey! So looked a bit more but the simple saucey was easy and my brand ! Anyway I my whole life have tried to help others and love all good stuff 😀 and now saucey is on my good stuff list thank you very much!!!

Overpriced- please use Vivino or Drizly instead. I’ll start with this. The API and UX is pretty solid and it is easy to sign up. However, once you see the pricing of their products, that’s simply insane. $35 for La Crema Chardonnay (from Sonoma Valley) when you can get it for $22-$25 on the other two platforms?!? Captain Morgan for $40 (are you ok?) Sauvignon Blanc from Oyster Bay for $24 when you can get it for under $15 guaranteed anywhere else. I don’t know what their fees or charges are but that’s at least a 30%-40% higher than other platforms. Granted, I reside in Manhattan so prices might be even higher than other places but I know as a fact that the other two platforms are more price friendly than this one for the city. Evidently, I didn’t bother to order over the platform and I know from a friend that their customer support is lackluster.

Great until they let Postmates take over!!. I used to use this app a lot. Cost is inflated but i figured they have to make a profit somewhere for my convenience right? I used this app for YEARS and loved it! Recently i have noticed how unprofessional the drivers are. One lady even called me for directions but she was so confused and wasn’t forming full sentences i just asked her to do what google maps told her. She arrived at my door clearly offended that i would actually tell her to use google maps that she refused to greet me verbally. Later on Saucy advised they are now using post mates drivers when i asked them what’s up with their service lately?? No thank ya.

Expensive. For a pack of cigarettes it was almost 16$ plus 9$ for delivery and tax! Prices for cigarettes are already too expensive in California where I’m from they are 7$ and some change ! They should at least charge the regular 11$ since we still have to pay for it to be delivered and tax! The reason I gave four stars though was because how fast it took to get here and when you need a cigarette you NEED a cigarette lol ! Also the lady who delivered them was so kind and sweet not only to me but to my two year old. She took the time to talk to me not only did she let me vent to her about some current frustrations she prayed for us!! I tipped her almost 6$ I would have tipped her 100$ but I’m a single mom obviously addicted to cigarettes lmbo

Pleasantly surprised. I was looking for an app that would deliver cigarettes and adult beverages together. I came across Saucey in my search, and I gave it a shot. The app is simple to use, and when I had a question about my selection, I had an immediate response through the customer service chat. The drivers have been courteous and respectful, and I expect to pay a little more for the convenience just as I do when using Uber Eats or Postmates. I highly recommend this service to anyone.

My one true love.. You will not find a better Delivery service! You can tell right away this company actually cares about their customers and their orders. I have never had an issue that wasn’t fixed immediately by customer service. My orders are always accurate and quick! This is the holy grail of delivery services and I’m so happy to be a customer! Horrible customer Service and Overpriced. I ordered a soda at 11:10 pm, and the app estimated a 20 minute delivery. When I called or texted they said it would be till 12:45 am that I would receive my order. I cancelled did but they still charged me the 8.00 delivery fee for not delivering my item. They didn’t even waive the fee even if it was their fault that the order had been ridiculously delayed into the wee hour of the morning. ***they raise the prices ridiculously in their app!!! Thought that if people are willing to pay gold prices that they would have gold customer service and support. EPIC FAILURE, closed account and moving on the next app.

App is wonky. I put my address in and when the app shared it with my driver it was a totally different apartment number a block away. Not only that, he only found me because he put the address in Waze - the app tried directing him to a building a mile and a half away. I felt so bad he wasted so much time that I gave him a large tip to hopefully make up some of the difference he could have gotten with other deliveries, but you guys should really fix the map! Shouldn’t be the customer or the drivers losing money because of your platform. Giving it 3 stars though because my delivery guy was great and the wine was pretty good.

I’m AMAZED at how fast the delivery was. I tried this app today courtesy of my office manager and am floored by how efficient it was. I completed the delivery details and my champagne was at my door within 15 mins. Not sure if I got lucky but will definitely look into this app next time I need some alch. Did look at the prices which are quite steep compared to me going to a grocery store but from an efficiency perspective I’m a big fan!

Don’t waste your time and money!. This app is trash! I knew something wasn’t right about it from the very start because they don’t have a customer service number, but I tried to do the right thing during this pandemic and stay in the house. Not only did the guy never show up with our beer, but he lied about us not answering our phone and proceeded to yell at my girlfriend and hang up on her. Then he said he would come back, and when the ETA said he was outside he really wasn’t and kept sending us to voicemail! How very unprofessional. They don’t give you enough info on the driver either. No description of the car or how they look like most major deliver apps do. Not to mention they claim we will get a full refund but it won’t be until 5-10 business days!!! I would’ve just went to the store if I’d known they would just send us off like that. In fact I would’ve saved about $20 bucks had I gone to the store since they are obviously overpriced. My beer normally goes for $10 but I paid $16 just so I can practice social distancing. We spend $40 and got nothing in return! How frustrating right! Trash trash trash!

Terrible Customer Service, Unethical Business Practices. I had used Saucey many times in the past and had no issues, but I had the most unethical customer support person ask me for a picture over text of my credit card after they cancelled an order without notifying me I’m sad I ever used this company and I would not recommend them to anyone. Honestly, not worth it and they will try to point fraud at you when they break their own terms of service. If I could leave them a lower rating than a 1, I would. I will be filing formal complaints and reports with law enforcement.

My Heroes!. My first time using Saucy. Amazing! The delivery guy was FAST I got updates along the way. As it was my first time? He had to scan my ID and that took maybe 30 seconds. The entire experience was uncomplicated, painless, and way too easy. It’s a bit more expensive than buying them yourself, but on a day like today when it’s pouring rain and you got a flat tire? Its almost decadent Totally recommending this to all my tobacco smoking weed smoking booze drinking friends. You guys are the greatest!!

So fast, great prices!. My delivery guy Daniel was so prompt and so courteous I didn’t know what hit me when he arrived so quickly. After trying several different apps I finally found one I can count on. And the prices are SO much better than what I’ve been getting. Even if my driver had been the worst: I would have tipped extra, regardless, just for the price discount.

Option to cancel order if requested alcohol not present?. I’d placed an order for a specific game day beer that was in stock according to the app — after submitting the order I was notified it wasn’t available and the only option I had was to select a replacement beer (no order cancellation option). Ideally the app would be able to keep some form of a tab on the inventory the stores they deliver from has in their CRM. If they can’t do that then I’d love the ability to cancel an order (as I’d rather grab an alternative beer from a corner store myself). Aside from this feedback, great UI and experience!

Would not give a refund for missing items. They said i needed to take a picture of my items. This was after the fact they make it hard to contact them for missing items. It should be a simple button on the app instead i had to send them an email they contacted me the next day. The items I purchased & had delivered were on my friends boat so of course I couldn’t take a picture i told to ask the delivery person they said only way to get a refund is with a picture. Was a rip off. Never received any updates on my order, til the was here delivery guy said he was with DoorDash so it seems like this app funnels through DoorDash. Next time ill order directly from DoorDash. Deleting this app will never order from them again.

Solid for Alcohol, Not for Snacks. I wrote a review of Saucey before which was unfavorable. But I’ve used it for the past few months and they consistently have great service for alcohol delivery. They always get the correct order for alcohol. However, if you wander into the snacks section be warned. They often deliver the wrong product by substituting a cheaper version. This might not mean much to some. But there are certain frozen lasagnas that work and some that taste like cardboard. Cardboard was delivered. I’ll order food from a reliable service in the future and only rely on Saucey for booze as intended.

Never delivered. Horrible customer service and horribly designed app. Beware, you can not identify the driver and the app will estimate a delivery time that will constantly change until eventually it becomes NEGATIVE minutes. Then when you call it will direct you to a automated message that will say to text a number that will hardly respond or help at all. I waited 2 hours and eventually they told me that the driver who I can’t even contact had come and I failed to accept delivery. Even though I stood downstairs my apartment building for 10 minutes when it said courier arriving in 3 minutes and even waited afterwards with not a single missed phone call and the app saying courier arriving soon. Long story short this app is crap and not prepared to deliver alcohol under any stress. Also very unhelpful when issues arise. I will never use this again.

Experience. Super nice guy. Manual. I tried to do when it was in the other screen to write review about him but I hit button too fast and I could not return to previous screen. Saucey is so awesome - I can’t even.... I ordered a Barefoot Bubbly Rose, or so I thought. The driver arrived promptly and handed over the bag to me. Thanked him, went inside and found a bottle of Pink Moscato (ewww). I rushed outside to catch the driver before and told him he brought the wrong bottle. We looked at my order together and, sure enough, I’d selected moscato. :( I sent a text to customer service, told them of my error and recommended finding a better way to differentiate between Rose and Pink Moscato. Saucy called me, almost immediately, and gave me a credit for my dissatisfaction!!! Even though it was MY error. Then...just post the ordering of my new bottle, I received another call — unfortunately, they didn’t have what I wanted in stock nearby, so they upgraded me to a new bottle, at no charge. I’m not a big written review leaver, BUT, in this instance, I had to write this out just to say how AWESOME SAUCEY is. Use them, often...and they deliver more than alcohol, so you can get your munchie fix on too. 10/10 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ FOR LIFE! 🥂

I love it!. I love SAUCEY! I never have to leave home and once in a while they'll throw in some promo codes! I got to send wine to 3 of my friends for free which was awesome! It's an amazing app that just keeps getting better and better. Oh and the couriers are extremely cool! Thanks saucey for bringing to life what we all wanted😉 all that plus a bag of chips that you can also throw in that order :)

Awful. This the most awful app i had they don’t know the real time of the delivery the. You can’t speak with any one over the phone you can only text which mean they can text you back when ever they want to text you back then they never tell you that you have to wait until some pick it up and then bring it to u they shouldn’t do the count down until the driver have your order plz don’t order for them you can catch a cab walk around the block take a shower watch tv and take a nap before they make it to you with your order

It’s always double the time that’s quoted... and many times triple the time.. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 on false advertising... they get you to place an order with them (instead of a competitor) based on the quick delivery but I haven’t had a single order delivery anywhere near the estimated time. As soon as it’s close to the original delivery time, the time changes to another 20 min... at the end of that... adds more time. Take a look at you SLAs and start making reasonable estimates - otherwise all your customers (myself included) will use one of the many other options available.

Faulty product fast service. Used saucey as they delivered vape products. I have ordered two times and both times not only received the wrong order but received faulty products that did not work. Although the first time I received a refund, the second time they refused to refund even though I ordered almost $80 worth of vape products only to find 4 days later it did not work when I finally opened a $35 vape. Will never order from them again regardless of accessibility

Strike Two. Well they jack up the prices on the liquor from what you could buy them at the liquor store but I expect that unfortunately you also have to have a fee to get a delivery and then expect you to pay a tip on top of all that after using it the first time I got a coupon in my email to use with the app for first time buyers but when I try to use it it I was told I’m no longer a 1st time buyer. Second time I discover they delivered only 2 of 3 items w/o sending me a message informing me of that. Maybe We will never get to strike 3..

Great app. They are consistently reliable and on point. Yes there might be shortcomings once in a while (like any app or service) but I gauge a company by how they manage expectations with customers and the overall experience. Drivers are nice and friendly, apps feels better than most others out there and gifts are huge!

Waste of money. Trash , you’re not going to get your order. Customer support is AI ran so you’re never going to get a solution to any situation that you have. I scheduled an order at 9 AM for 10 AM, it’s currently 11 AM and I still do not have my order, after reaching out to their support which is AI I was told I would have a resolution within 24 hours of order that still be in processed. I just wanted an ETA on my order to know if it was going to arrive today at all but since it’s currently 10:56 PM and my order still hasn’t changed from “ order scheduled” to “ heading your way” I basically just wasted $17 and I’m not even sure how to go about getting a refund

No customer service at all; Delivered to wrong house and charged me. I’ve used this service a few times, but in my last order the courier went and delivered my goods to the wrong house. I was charged in full and never got my order. When I attempted to call or get in contact with Saucey support, they only have an email that they never respond to. I left over 4 emails stating that I never got my stuff. No reply and no reimbursement. They basically stole my money. I had to call my bank to set up a dispute for a fraudulent charge! DONT USE THIS APP....Drizly is way better and they give you courier number and Info. These scammers don’t do any of that.

the absolute WORST app i have ever used.. They advertise delivery service under an hour, my estimated wait time ALONE was “89 minutes,” that’s not including the time i spent playing russian roulette with vapes trying to figure out “what they had in stock”. turns out, the shop was just saying they didn’t have any of the flavors i wanted in stock (substituted about 15 times by the end of it, repeating flavors). FINALLY got through to support after waiting 20 minutes & guess what, they MAGICALLY had the flavor in stock that i wanted - one that they had said wasn’t in stock, hmmm 🧐. guess what? that was the FIRST time i used the app. i absolutely tried to give this app a few chances (5 to be exact), i ordered off here 5 times in an attempt to be able to say that it was a *decent* app, but it’s absolutely terrible. this situation repeated to varying degrees each time, usually worse than the previous experience though. ALSO - NONE of the drivers knew how to scan my ID card. NONE knew what they were suppose to do & asked me, THE CUSTOMER, “how do i scam your ID? I don’t know how to scan it to approve your delivery”. teach your drivers how to use your app before sending them on a delivery. i will be deleting this app & never using it again. don’t waste your time w this one.

First timer. Was thirsty for more and knew driving wasn’t the best choice. I tried Saucy and it was perfect!! I didn’t find sodas and stuff not sure if they just don’t sell that but if they did for even more $$ I would buy just due to the situation. Great 1st experience and the driver was attractive! Plus for me but possibly dangerous for her if she goes to a site that is heavily intoxicated. Thank you!! 5 STARS

Never write reviews — SAUCEY deserved this, though!. After trying three other alcohol delivery apps, I came across Saucey. I was able to order a case of Bud Light around 10 pm on a Friday night. This app came in clutch! The courier was quick and friendly when he delivered. Be sure to have your ID ready to show. I highly recommend Saucey for alcohol delivery. Will use again in the future! Thanks, Saucey!

Tracking. So I’m adding to this review. Again, I love the service and haven’t had too many issues with that, but the app needs updates. Now every time I tip and rate my delivery person, it asks me to do it twice. Sometimes 3 times. Im only ever charged once, but I have to do it a few times for it to work, which seems a little unfair for the delivery people if someone doesn’t do it again and they miss out on tips. Delivery is fast, but the tracking on the app is rarely accurate and slow.

Terrible Experience. They list items as in stock. I order. They send me confirmation of order that delivery will take 3 to 7 days. 8 days later still no tracking number or word from them. I reach out to them bc this was a Holiday gift. Can only text with them— they have no information and tell me they have to look into my order— they then tell me they will get back to me by end of day which they never do. I again reach out to them to get a message back that says the items are discontinued and they don’t have any in stock (as they had advertised and sold me). They’re customer service people are flippant, un-caring and not at all concerned that I’ve lost a week+ for finding this item elsewhere or finding a different gift. Now I’m stuck in a crunch going I can express ship something (which will likely cost an excessive amount). Thanks Saucy, you guys Stink.

Horrible service and communication. This was my first time using the app in 2 years and it was a terrible experience. I was promised a 30 minute delivery time and 2 hours and 30 minutes later my order was still not here. There was zero communication as to why there was a delay until I messaged customer service. They were no help. Just said it was taking longer than usual and to wait 20 minutes more. 20 minutes later it was still not here. I cancelled it immediately. Got no apology or anything from the customer service rep. Horrible service. Never using again.

Negative experience. I ordered 3 bottles for $ 85 for my birthday (vodka, champagne and Chardonnay ) a few minutes before delivery I got a call from the store and the girl asked me if it would be normal if they replaced the champagne I ordered with cheaper ones, since they didn’t have I said ok, although I didn’t like it anymore, it was cheaper. Then the courier arrived and brought 2 bottles instead of 3. I asked why 2 and not 3(I ordered 3)She answered that I should call the store and quickly run away without saying goodbye. Then I called the store and the same girl rude way said that they put three bottles .My experience was negative , spoiled the mood and this is my last experience with this store

Convenience at your fingertips. Wow everything at our fingertips, when I found Saucey, I was ecstatic. I'm not always able to make that walk two blocks to store, since I'm disabled. And the times I used this service I was impressed, you get what you need without the added expenses. A real bargain for the convenience of a delivery to your door!!!

First Time Service User. I was looking for cigarette delivery since the local store was getting renovated and didn’t feel comfortable driving anywhere else. I came upon Saucey and noticed they delivered tobacco products. After going through available products I chose the brand I wanted and a six pack of beer. Everything was easy, accessible, and easy setting up the account since it was my first time using service. After getting age verified for purchase of tobacco and adding payment card the check out was quick and I received notification of confirmation that order was being prepared. Definitely very easy to use and I was especially pleased with time it took for items to get delivered. From confirmation of order received to delivery of items to my house was only 45mins; started order around 9:30pm. My new favorite app delivery service going forward.

Dark patterns. The app tries to convince you to turn on notifications, several times. They use dark patterns where they make the option to opt out difficult to see, and on the iPhone X difficult to access. They misleadingly tell you that you need to enable notifications to get delivery notifications, when in fact all delivery notifications are delivered via text message whether you have push notifications on or not. Push notifications are only used for marketing spam.

BEWARE - Terrible App & Customer Service. Waited two hours for delivery that never came. When I contacted customer service they cancelled the order and told me to reorder. Waited another two hours and they cancelled it again. Customer support said there was an engineering glitch. So after wasting countless hours trying to get my delivery I ordered through Postmates and had my order in 30 minutes. I will never use their service again.

Fraud! BEWARE. I found this app during lockdown. Overpriced, but what can you do. The card I use for this app is only being used for this app and nothing else, and I have not left my apartment for more or less 300 days. The reason I assign specific credit cards to specific apps is to recognize fraud charges, just in case. I received a call from my bank that my credit card had been used to purchase airline tickets and had managed to spend $700 from my account (not more since my card had a spending limit) but even though it had been topped, they kept attempting SEVERAL more airline ticket purchases with my name and card. Wrote to costumer service and they replied that they can only see the last 4 numbers of the card so they are not responsible- as if anyone with common sense these days would think duplicating a card requires all the numbers, and not a software- waiving responsibility and suggesting I file a police report. I have. But to the rest of you BE WARNED. $700 and it wouldve been more if they could.

TBD. First and foremost the app is user friendly and sign up was a breeze. In regards to my 1 star rating, it’s due the fact that there are no drivers here that can do delivery in my area. It’s one thing for the area I live in but to even use my work address as reference to hopefully source out a driver (I work 15 miles away in another city) just to put that to no avail there were still no drivers nearby. It was helpful to see the note the developers left that explained new locations will be added eventually. I host a lot of functions/parties year round and to have a tool like this where someone can help would save so much time. But until I’m able to use the service on the app my rating will be a 1 star.

Someone can make a better company. I feel like they have the type of customer service where they are able to own up when a mistake happens at first if you are a new customer, but if mistakes continue to happen they don’t want to compensate back. If you have to wait up to three hours for alcohol delivery, these people are not doing it right nor understand conflict management skills while improving on their processes through feedback. Instead of coming up with a solution for you if things continue to get bad with deliveries, they just ignore you and turn the other way.

False Advertising. I made a purchase partially because a “promo” was added to my order which took several dollars off of the price. The price upon submitting my payment reflected that “promo”. However, when I later checked on the status of my order it showed that I was charged the full amount and that there was no “promo” applied. This is false advertising, I submitted my order thinking it would be one price but it was another. This is such a shady thing to do to get people to spend more money. I was essentially duped out of several dollars.

Oof. I’ve never left a review before, but I feel like this app needs it. I placed an order today and was given an estimated delivery time of 30 minutes. Well, the driver and estimated delivery time kept changing. After the third time I contacted customer service to cancel the order, because I was worried I wouldn’t be available by the time they finally arrived. I got an immediate response confirming my cancellation. I thought it was all good...Then an hour later a driver texted me frantically asking if my order had been canceled. They were outside my house! All I could do was show them confirmation I’d received that my order was canceled...but now I’m pretty sure this guy didn’t get any money from the 30+ minutes it took him to pick up and deliver my (canceled) order. We all know apps like this treat their drivers like dirt, but this really cemented to me that I shouldn’t be using services like this anymore. Maybe in the future they could consider communicating promptly with their drivers (not to mention making them employees and giving them some amount of job protection 🤷🏻‍♂️). Anyway I’d recommend not using this app.

I want to use this!. I live in Chicago. I live on a street called Birchwood which is north of Devon but south of Howard which is the border street for the city of Chicago. I am living in Chicago but not in your delivery area. Just outside. Can you pleaaaase expand over to the north a bit to include us folks in Rogers Park? Parking is terrrrrible over here and having my alcohol delivered would be heaven! I would use this app in a heart beat!!!

How to view drivers movements. I absolutely love this app for a first time user...... however, it is quite confusing to know when to meet the delivery person at the door when the app can’t keep a track on them. Something similar to how Uber keeps track of the drivers in their routes.. that would help us as well!! My delivery guy was awesome!! I would like the APP itself to UPGRADE!

Fairly priced, always on time, always available. In SOMA San Francisco they do a great job. Prices are good and they serve past when most local shops are open. Special praise goes out to Ursula who is always pleasant and timely. Could not be happier with Saucey, they have a a very loyal and happy customer in me.

Not accurate. I hate to be that customer but the last few times I’ve used Saucey, my order arrives about 45 mins later than initially stated. The driver’s location does not update but the delivery time keeps getting pushed back. Not a big deal but don’t use Saucey if you’re planning/ coordinating with others. Timing is not consistent or accurate

3 strikes. I deleted the app because of its cutesy “Hey man, want to have some fun? 😉😉😉” notifications, which are meaningless and annoying. Can you imagine how annoying GrubHub would be if they sent random notifications like “Hey man—you hungry yet? 🧐🧐😝” The app crashes or blackscreens on me consistently, then I have to restart my phone to finish an order. Also, the last driver I had didn’t understand the meaning of contact free delivery. He insisted I open the screen door because he wanted to get my approval for the substitutions, then proceeds to hand the bag to me. Wore no mask or gloves. Substitutions are fine—just check my ID from a distance and leave the bag in the stoop like I wrote in the directions, please. Will use a different service in the future.

Not worth your time or money!!. Not happy at all with our order. I downloaded the app bc you advertised 30min or less delivery. It took AN HOUR AND 20MIN. Also, they did not have the sour beer I ordered but didn’t bother to notify me. They substituted with a Pale Ale that was a different brand. A Pale Ale and sour beer are NOTHING alike. Will not use this service or recommend to friends again. I want to be reimbursed for the sour beer we did not get. My husband does not drink pale ale and just left to the liquor store to buy sour beer. Defeats the entire purpose of your “convenience”

Worked out great. As with any large service, you expect to see some negative reviews here but I had no issues in central San Diego. Of course you pay higher prices for delivery but it was quick and I got what I ordered.

Wowza!!!. Just found this app from an ad on Twitter. Needed some hard to find bottles of bourbon. Gave Saucy a try. Amazing selection of whiskeys and beer. Not even 30 minutes later the bottles of bourbon (and a couple beers) I selected were delivered right to my front door! Well done Saucy!. I will be a repeat customer.

The Best Delivery and Customer Service. I’ve been using Saucey for 2 years and they have been pretty solid. Their selection is good and if I’ve had an issue they’ve responded quickly. I also like their brand and they don’t overly market me with promos.

Maybe more. I love that I found a app that delivers cigarettes. Although prices are kind of high I won’t complain because of the delivery. They don’t always have why you want. I’d also like to see you add orange juice to mix with some of the spirits. But I’m glad I found Saucey

Liquor store on wheels. I could just walk 10 minutes to the corner store but I’d honestly rather just wait an hour to have someone bring it to me. Swishers dutches even papers you guys are doing gods work keep it up.

Order & driver. I tipped the driver $20 for her time and driving in traffic . I received my order except one bottle of White Russian was missing. Just checking to see if my total was adjusted. Thank you

Fake coupon discount. I’ve placed an order with them a few times and despite obviously overpriced, they advertise fake coupons. I’ve been back and forth with them regarding a $10 dollar coupon and they said I’d have to place an order in order to receive my $10 off. I also sent the coupon to friends because we both get $10 off when the person uses the coupon. Well, also fake. Nobody gets any discount. So I’m not longer buying from them because I don’t like companies that advertise things that aren’t true.

That was fast.. There was a line outside our local market and was out of Hooch. Got my order in hour. The price was about the same if not a bit better. Thanks. Oh. I tipped in cash and didn’t see the tip portion until after so I put $0. Is it able to have that on ordering. I may have missed it. Thanks again.

Horrible app. I ordered three packs of cigarette's, I never got a notification that they would be delivered. According to Saucey it was delivered, but I never got my order !!! I asked them to confirm the name of the person who received the order according to them they don’t keep the id or name on file so they have no clue who received it. I never got my order and I lost 25 dollars, I wish I would’ve never downloaded this app. I do not recommend it at all worse app ever !!!!

Handy App. I've used it twice now. The price for stuff can rack up a bit with small cart fees and other things but if you have promo codes or credits it's helpful. Pretty quick and friendly service

Bad customer service. They can’t keep track of inventory and run out of things they say they have in stock. Also one order was going to be an hour late because the driver went the wrong way. When I contacted customer service to cancel, they threatened to charge a cancelation fee, even though I explained the situation. Most companies offer some sort of make good, but I was told I would be charged a fee for something that was not my fault. Deleted the app.

Customer service. With Saucey (as with many comparable apps), you pay notably more, than you would at the store. Adding delivery fees on top of that (and the much dreaded, guilt-imposed tip), your costs will be higher. That said, Saucey has excellent customer service. I’m not speaking specifically of the drivers (they vary, but are typically fine). The owner/ manager (e.g., the lovely man I typically communicate with via phone and text) is excellent. This makes Saucey stand above the rest. It remains a de-centralized, customer-service oriented business.

The promo gift option doesn’t work. Friends have sent me promotional bottles but saucy doesn’t give you the option of redeeming them when you actually signup for the app. This feature doesn’t work.

No delivery available. Had to go through the sign up process, link to Facebook etc, select my items, only to find out that delivery to my address (In San Francisco..???) was unavailable. Products would ship out next day and get here who knows when. Maybe make it so people can see if delivery is available at their address before making them waste time.

Great delivery and great service. Delivery came when expected, customer service was great and responded quickly. Ordered pretty late at night and it went better than expected.

Consistently inconsistent. Never delivers in their 30 minute window as promised. Inaccurate delivery times with upwards of over an hour late. Support is never available in real time and does not address this problem. Drivers say they have arrived and to be outside for delivery when they are 5+ minutes away. Will not be using this service again since there are many other options. And the only thing that made them respond to my complaint was me threatening a review.

Terrible Scam. I placed my very first order, the driver arrived and did not come to my door or call me. I called and texted him with no response. I contacted customer support through text because you can only text and they said he returned it and they can send another order and then customer support stopped texting back without helping. They charged me $20 for a pack of cigarettes and never delivered or solved the problem. They are a scam, do not give them your business.

Great service but pretty expensive... Just tried this for the first time and it was fast as advertised. However even though there isn’t any delivery fee the wine is 40-60% higher than even some corner stores. For that reason I probably can’t can’t justify using this very often. A better deal would probably be if they had a flat delivery fee - and better priced wine!

Great service. I go back and forth between this app and uber eats but I’m gonna be honest saucy is faster and at times cheaper. The couriers have trouble scanning my ID with uber eats but saucy lets them input my info so it goes through every time. I’ve had uber eats drivers return my order because they couldnt scan my ID. Overall great service.

Bad Marketing. I like the idea, the UI, and everything, except for these annoying offers Saucey emails me about. Every week they say I have a $15 credit that expires soon, and then next week they offer the same one to me as if they never said it would expire. It’s the little things guys, this makes Saucey seem sleazy or like an annoying X that keeps calling. You can do much better with your email marketing.

Saucey review. I had a really good experience 1st time buyer and I am happy with my order I order pack of Newport’s and a pack a cigarillos and received it 20 mins exactly after placing my order they are really fast and convenient and nice

Accept no imitations. There are apps with lower prices BUT you get what you pay for. This app will get you booze when you want them. The other guys will get to you when they feel like it. Treat yourself to world class service.

Slow Delivery, Terrible Customer Service. I’m honestly quite baffled at the previous stellar reviews, since, at the time of this writing, my delivery has yet to arrive since I placed my first order 5 days ago. I have e-mailed customer service twice with zero response. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I highly discourage anyone from using this service. If you do try this service, try purchasing a cheap item first, to test the professionalism. Don’t make the mistake I did by purchasing a higher-priced item. Hopefully you’ll have a better experience than I did.

Platinum Plus Member. This was a great delivery app. Lately they have not been delivering within the hour even though I move spent roughly thousands on there. If it was like it used to be I would say they’re great. Lately there has been a lack of presence with they’re customer service. All in all, now this app has become one of the worst alcohol delivery apps I have used. I ended up going down to the store and getting it myself.

Tip. This was my first time using the app. I could not see what the tip amount was And how to leave a tip. there was no way to retrieve a receipt. I was not sure if the tip was included or if I had to tip the driver with cash. One day later I found out that it’s 15% tip was included after I tip the driver in cash

Social Distancing. Since I am stuck in the hose due to Corona virus and wanted beer and wine in the house, I googled alcohol delivery and boom, there you were. Prices were fair and I was in the safety of my own home. Delivery was fast and the driver was great, carried everything to my door. I will definitely recommend your service!! My sanity thank you!

Terrible Service. I’ve been a platinum customer for years and I received my order which was missing an item. It was delivered to a friends home and Saucey wants a photo of the order so they can process a refund which I don’t have. I order from Uber Eats all the time and they have never required a photo for a missing item. It’s based on an honor system. You would think with all the money I have spent they would credit me $15. Bye Saucey.

Excellent customer service. Unfortunately my order didn’t come in, but customer service immediately called me and let me know. They also gave me a refund and a voucher because they care that the customer is happy! I’m very pleased with my service.

Meh... I moved out to a suburb in Northern California so Saucey saved my life at times, but honestly the prices are outrageous. Trying to charge almost $90 for a bottle of Clicquot (with fees) and that’s before having to tip your driver! I literally just bought a bottle of the same exact bubbly for about $30 less on a wine delivery website. Same thing if you’re trying to buy nicer liquor. Do yourself a favor and look on Google for an alcohol delivery website before buying from Saucey.

App dosnt work. Iphone xs App doesn't work anymore I add to order and click checkout only to have my order deleted and all items removed from cart this started after last update to fix this issue however i never had this issue and now i do! Also half the time drivers ask for tip or never get out of the car which this is a delivery service not self serve I do however like that you only tip after delivery so the lazy drivers will never got tip and good ones will!

My Delivery Driver. LOVE HER!!! She was faster than the time said it would be til delivery, brought everything I ordered, and was very sweet and personable!! I I felt bad about 20 minutes later cause it dawned on me when checking out that I didn’t remember seeing that it had a spot to tip. Thankfully I’m ordering again and it came up!

Great selection, accurate ETA. I use this service a lot. Delivery is fast and accurate, most of the time. Easy to use and I love how you can see where your driver is. They use to have Juul pods which I use, but recently stopped. Please bring those back :(

Drooped orders repeatedly, poor customer service. Three times in the past year I have added multiple items to my cart and checked out. When the order arrives, several items are missing. Upon checking the receipt I see several of the item that I added no longer show on the receipt. So I didn’t get charged for them, but my order was not recorded/delivered properly. I have heard similar stories from friends. Moving to another delivery option.

Quick and easy!. Love how fast these folks deliver! It’s always ahead of the specified time. The delivery staff are just the nicest folks. Remember to have your if ready as they do have to scan it to give you your bags. The app is so easy to use and the variety of choices is great - something for everyone!

Don’t waste your money !. Twice I have been delivered the incorrect item the first time the customer service rep told me not to accept the next order if it is incorrect. So I received the wrong item again and tried to deny the order and the driver said there was nothing that they can do and that I needed to contact customer service. I contacted them and they said they won’t refund me for anything and now they have stopped reply to any messages I send.

App problems. I ordered through my browser and made an account which was great, it worked fast but when I downloaded the app I was unable to get in because it said I had to be over 21. Which I am by quite a bit, which is incredibly frustrating.

Fast and easy. This is such a fast and easy way to get the alcohol I needed to keep the party going. The app is so easy to make selections. Also, delivery drop off is quick with the ID scan. I'm glad this service came to Pasadena. I loved it in Hollywood and Santa Monica!

Long ETA. My ETA continued to go up in time as the night went on (ordered around 10:50PM my order arrived around midnight). I contacted support and they offered to take care of my taxes and delivery fee. The courier was very nice and apologetic. Sadly by the time our wine arrived we were no longer in the mood for a glass and ended up just going to bed. We could have gone down a couple blocks and picked something up. Not sure if I’ll use this app again unless it’s bad weather outside :/
