This game is really cool and fun to play, but I completed all the levels in a few hours. Not worth paying for in my opinion.
I’ve been playing it with my 8 yr old grandson. It challenges your assumptions, and forces you to think outside and, hint for box level->, inside the box. Yes, I’d love to see a ton more levels. This is fabulous
I really enjoy the gameplay and the graphics are pretty good.
I don’t like that when you get to a certain part in the game and you have to stop and put your phone down or go to sleep, that it doesn’t save where you stopped playing, you just have to play the whole level from the beginning and it’s a little frustrating.
I’m not sure what it was but I found myself zipping through MV 2 much faster than MV 1 and Forgotten Shores. While the visuals were pleasant and at times intriguing, the puzzles just didn’t seem as complex. I would have liked even more complexity than the first games, more obstacles to overcome. The music also disappointed as it seemed less mysterious. All this said, the series overall is refreshing when compared to other more pedestrian games.
Great game - however, for the last week it crashes upon opening every time. Please fix this error.
Amazing game. Love the music, love the animation, love the story it tells. *spoilers did anyone else cry when the totem sank?
It’s hard to find enough good things to say about this game. In short it is a challenging puzzle game in which you take advantage of M.C. Escher like perspective twists to allow your character to complete various levels. But that just doesn’t feel like enough. I saw this game on a business flight and had to ask the passenger next to me what it was. The art style is simple but colorful. The gameplay reveals a compelling story of loss and redemption. The level design is challenging but inspiring. I don’t normally like to spend money on mobile games because most of the store images and videos don’t give you a complete idea of what you’re getting into. This one was clear from the get go and didn’t fail to deliver. I have purchased this game, it’s expansion and it’s sequel and played all three multiple times. My only complaint? There just isn’t enough of it. My biggest ask would be a level designer. Or maybe not. Downloadable content would leave me lost in this game for days and months on end.
I think it’s a great game and I like that the levels are each unique. It’s beautiful and challenging. I like the work put into it and I was so excited when MV2 came out. I think MV3 should be a game because I finished the levels. There is no other game like MV out there. It takes all your brainpower and it’s great for people with anxiety. I didn’t get disappointed once. It helped with my anxiety and I hope this review was helpful.
This game is so good and I cannot live without it I don’t even know how to explain it the game it’s so good it has puzzles 🧩and it’s so cool and beautiful and it does the job too calm you down it’s just sooooooooooooooooooooo cool and beautiful in each one. This is so perfect and so good 😊 I loved monument valley 1 and 2 and if I could I would give it 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999909999900000000000 that much stars ⭐️
Beautiful graphics match challenging but enjoyable gameplay. I love it!
This game was amazing; it had beautiful graphics and sound, a puzzling difficulty that rewarded you deeply when you passed a stage, and an overall familiar feel. It was an enchanting and mesmerising experience that thrilled me from head to toe. The storyline was great as well, and had me frantically tapping for the next chapter. I would highly recommend this to any logical person out there who wants a challenge!
MV2 has substantially less content than MV1. What i took to be a set of training levels actually turned out to be the entire game! Its still a beautiful thing, but come on Ustwo, is that really all there is?
I was in love with both of the games straight away. Not only is the art style absolutely hands down one of the greatest thing, and game, I have ever seen, the music and the story is emotional, carm, and VERY mesmerising. I adore this game! Please make a Monument Valley 3!! We would all appreciate it very much to have such a new and fantastic game out!!
I ❤️ this game! It’s so beautiful 😍 and the story line is so emotional 😭. The game is so well done 👍, and every detail is perfect 👌. I can tell you’ve put a lot of effort into it. So well done 👍. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star rating! But it’s just one thing that bothers me. The game doesn’t go on for too long, and I would love 💕 it if you made more chapters because I wish it wouldn’t end so suddenly. I’m hoping fingers crossed 🤞🏽 that your making another one ☝️, because it deserves another one ☝️!! I love both 1 & 2 and I literally took a screenshot on every chapter! It’s that beautiful! And so well thought of! Amazing work 👍! - . . . . . . .
This is just a great game with cool puzzles and it’s just impossibly cool and I will definitely recommend this to other people
This is a great game but for the money there are simply not enough levels. I finished this game in 1 day and they wanted more money to get the Monument 2. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY
I loved playing this game, it is beautiful, and I can tell that a lot of hard work has put into making it. It is worth the money, however I was very upset when I reached the end. Thumbs up from me though! 👍
The game is ok, it’s really fun and the puzzles are challenging. Graphics are great too! But the real issue for me is that I payed 5$ for just 10 levels. I finished the game in a day, and it wants me to pay even more to unlock a separate level pack. I was quite disappointed by this, and if I could do it over, I wouldn’t buy it.
I loved monument 1. One of the most challenging and beautiful games I’ve ever played. However monument 2 appears to have been written by another team less interested in the puzzles. Played the whole game in about an hour.
The only problem is that I hate the crow pople.
First of all on of the the first reviews is like a one or two star review that says this game is short and easy. Maybe the first levels are easy but I can’t call this short there’s plenty of levels to take a few days and for an indie puzzle game that’s a real achievement. I will change to five star if you explain the “ box” level. Once you solve green it takes you back to blue and both doors are locked all other levels took like five minutes but I’ve been stuck on this one for a week 😔. I will try the sequel and try this game on iPad to see if either of these options are better (am only assuming this game is easier on iPad because maybe a bigger screen will help). Is this a glitch? Or am I just doing something wrong? So confused 🤷♀️ edit: I just realized that there is a a bird person that can do it for you I don’t think it was there before. Whatever. Great game anyway
I really enjoyed the storyline and the life lessons in this game! I also really loved the brain challenging chapters. It also passes the time because you get so into it with all of the challenging parts in it!!!
When I pay $4 for a game I expect to get more enjoyment than a few hours of play. I really loved the game itself but there are only 10 levels unless you shell out more cash. Disappointed.
i love princess’s and this is a great app to play
It’s very expensive for only about an hours worth on gameplay.
I loved everything about this game. That’s my review. I want to inform you though, I found one little bug in “Ida’s dream,” where you walk through the windmill on to totem. It’s at the very end. Sorry if it’s not specific enough, I know you guys probably made this using a geometry textbook, some Escher drawings and lots of Red Bull.
What a delicious little game. I loved the Escher-esque aspect to it. I even liked the background music (which I almost always turn off in most games). Thank you.
I really enjoyed the challenge of the first edition of this game and was delighted to see a sequel. I didn’t hesitate to pay the €5, looking forward to a new challenge. However, I found this version was much to simple, most levels had just one route. I think only two or three of the levels posed any real challenge. Overall I say the game was a disappointment. I would recommend people who haven’t tried the game before to go for opt for the first version.
This game is class and really well put together but I'm giving it one star because 10 levels for €5 is a total rip off very disappointed. ☹️ have read reviews from number 2 and seems this is the same.
Is there a better mobile game?
Nice game and it would get a 5 stars if it wasnt so short. You can get additional levels but you have to pay for them. I was disappointed by that
Loads of fun..... but I think, as others have said too, it is a bit too short. And paying for the second part wasn't expected or welcomed. I've had loads of fun playing it though. More levels please! (Sans cash request!)
very short and no way is it worth the price. People who call this the best game they ever played, either haven't played more than 5 games in their life or are suspicious reviews
Crashes as soon as You attempt to open it now
Nice sounds nice drawings deferent dimensions. Needs more levels
Best game yet! Please make more new levels. 👌🏼
Brilliant game ! Very original ...I liked so much that I found it a little bit too short :) worth the money anyway !
