EClinicalMobile Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Limited Functionality. Good for seeing my schedule but I cannot seem to do much > on an efficient basis. I would like to do charges but I need to figure out how to upload my most frequent codes efficiently. I can’t seem to see notes in progress like the Cerner App. Also, if I could upload clinical photos, that would be super helpful for points of comparison but the round-about process becomes an obstacle to better pt care.

Does not support larger screens. This is 2019 and the app still does not support larger screens such as iPhone X or later. There is no support for biometric security including Touch ID or face ID which is unacceptable. It gets tiresome very quickly especially when you have to type in the passcode every five minutes or when you try to switch between apps Update March 11, 2019: the app keeps getting worse. Touch screen keeps on freezing while using the app. Sometimes the app does not respond at all. Worst mistake my office ever made switching to this company and their horrible software. Their in office and online support is horrible. Avoid ECW like the plague.

Basics, Pharmacy selection. Unable to find the pharmacy or add any new ones to the eprescription option. Extremely limited search functionality that is a recurrent problem. Only allows you to look at a limited number of search results which means that if Pharmacy you’re looking for is not in the first limited selection of results there is no way to scroll for additional results and you’re out of luck. Big issue when you’re trying to send to a retail pharmacy with a lot of different stores to pick from, even if you know the specific pharmacy address and phone number. Seems like it would be easy to correct, but has been an issue for entire year that I’ve had the app.

Do the developers understand the concept of “user-friendly” at all?. It’s slow to open, when it opens. Prescribing on it is extremely time consuming because it doesn’t show you the formulation (pill, capsule, liquid, injection, etc) of the medication until after you select it from the numerous medications that contain the drug you’re interested in. These are just a couple of my issues with this app. Overall, if I didn’t have to use this app because of the EMR at my facility I would never use it again.

When you can get in. It works fine. I can look up patients , review charts. But when I’m desperate to dictate, and it decides to not recognize my face, and then decides not to recognize my password and locked me out, and then absolutely refuses to accept my answer to the security question, which is always the same answer and I get locked out and then it’s up our ordeal to get IT to help me sign back in and it takes them three tries after my for uninstalling the app, reinstalling it, etc..

eClinicalMobile. “ Like father like son.” eCW has done it again. Daddy has a total lack of any logic, ditto for sonny. Why is it that we can not simply answer a phone and press “send?” What sense does it make to use a “ save” button to send a message? It is hard to believe that this company has managed to cook so many so many flaws into their software that they claim to be unable to fix. A couple of examples: 1. You can not use a simple hyphen! We use this little piece of punctuation repeatedly during the course of writing/dictating notes on a daily basis. This is an absolute absurdity! 2. When filling out a prescription on “ Big Daddy” and entering the # , the quantity disappears at last half the time. What kind of bone headed screw up is that !? Absolute nonsense! 3. Why are there at least 3 different medication lists and yet only one of those can be used to manage the medications? Did eCW even remotely consider having endusers try this unwieldy excuse for a piece of equipment that is supposed to make our lives more streamlined and efficient. My recommendation is that eCW Pay those of us that were duped into purchasing this misery generating excuse for an EHR.

Review for e clinical.. I have used E Clinical for last year not only where I am now and where I was employed last year. I also used it up until 2017 at Methodist in Memphis. All I can say that there has been greater than a 100 percent improvement and using my cell phone for my dictation, labs and messages and totally surprised at how little editing I am having to do. I am happy but always can be happier. Keep it up E Clinical and I feel certain I will be even happier very soon. Doc Olo.

Solo practice APRN. Just horrible. So much potential but barely worth using. I’m the most “techy” guy too, and this app is just a sluggish mess. blue drug search, can’t even utilize favorites in drug section. So your constantly doing things that are time consuming. Seriously ECW ? With all these other great features on ipad and cloud you can’t make an app that functions properly??? The phone is the most important device we carry. seriously figure it out or someone else will.

Unreliable. It’s great to have the features that it offers, but what good does it do IF IT DOESNT WORK THE MAJORITY OF TIME?!? I’ve tried to point this out to our EClinical rep over and over, and all they do is make updates to “fix the bugs”. These inevitably create other “bugs”. The truth behind eClinicals in general, not just the mobile app, is that whatever program base they have is simply flawed from the beginning. It’s horribly programmed. If you could visualize the program represented by a tangible structure, I see it as a Dr Seuss drawing of a complex scaffolding that is thrown together and held together by mismatched materials and temporary fragile repairs. Anything and everything will and does go wrong with it. Perhaps when you signed up with them you were fooled by the nice format of the notes. It gives the misperception that it must be a great EHR. But the very first thing any EHR has to be is RELIABLE, otherwise none of the fancy features account for anything. The EClinical mobile app does not perform reliably enough to even allow you to use it, so you might as well not even have it.

Ridiculous. Great when it works, extremely frustrating when it doesn’t. Come to rely on it and out of no where it will just stop working- FOR NO REASON. Worked an hour ago- now it doesn’t. Have to stop your day and spend time making it work again. Trying to see patients but the app wants you to spend time with it instead. Have sworn it off multiple times but always come back because it does help your patients, esp adding photos to chart. Pretty much like all EMRs- we are here to service the EMR not patients and our time doesn’t matter. ….. Follow up - I tried to use Aggravated as nickname for this post but it was already taken!! I tied multiple use misspellings but they were taken too- as well as other negative words so I used positives words- still didn’t work- I’ll try none sense words- nope still didnt work so I’ll try positive works for title.

Meh.... It’s ok when it works. Very limited capability. Good for looking up patients medications and phone numbers when on call. Seems to randomly lock you out and no way to reset without going to computer. When doing erefills, no screen to confirm that it actually went through. I’ve had times where it didn’t go through and I never knew, other times I ended up sending multiple times because I wasn’t sure it went through. Can’t send new prescriptions only refill existing ones.

Descent app.. It’s convenient in the fact that you are notified whenever there is a telephone encounter. You are able to get the rundown on the patient and quickly look at their health profile. It runs too slow when trying to dictate from the smartphone. Sometimes it’s slow when switching from one screen to the next screen.

Bugs. It is nice when it actually works but this rarely occurs. I have to force close and reopen it 3-4 times before I can finally finish one small task. Sending a med should be quick and easy but with this app crashing so much a chore that should take seconds takes minutes if you can get it to work at all. It seems to be getting worse and not better. I run it on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I wouldn’t think it is a problem with the hardware. Please fix it so it’s usable! It’s nice (if it works) for quick weekend tasks.

good when it works. Locks up all of the time. Then you have to completely get out of the app and restart and even then sometimes still locks up. Had an "update" at some point that stopped the patients from automatically being added to your patient list without clicking a button so if you forget to do that you have to enter the patient info again to add them. Big time waster.

Bad app. So, now I have been using it for a year and it is even worse than I thought. Slow and cumbersome. Constant “click,click,click”- and most of the “clicking” is redundant or unnecessary. Templates are un-usable in current form and not customizable. Program does not allow for using repeated common phrasing with one keystroke. Gotta type everything in over and over. Would not recommend this version of ECW (it is archaic) to my worst enemy. Very little can be done with the app. Not real helpful. End up having to lug my computer around because app not helpful and to get anything done I have to go to full version. Give it a “zero” in the user friendly category. Only use it because I have to for work.

Good, has possibilities. I like to have it for its refills and telephone notes. Lookups can be a challenge and it could be more robust in its functions and choices and be tighter in its integration to the computer EHR. I find that sometimes I enter something or do it in the app and it doesn’t appear quite the same in the PC or worse, is absent. It’s also not updated in real time as I have done prescriptions and messages and later or next day in the office and the same messages or Rx’s are there as if I hadn’t addressed them. The sign- in should be with Touch ID, everything else does!

Unbelievably bad. The mobile app is somehow a lot worse than the already terrible desktop and web versions of ECW. I feel like I’ve taken a time machine back to 1998 every time I use the program, except the software doesn’t even work as well as you would expect things to in 1998. The iOS app is slow, depends on a bizarre syncing mechanism, frequently doesn’t work, and is minimally useful when it does work. ECW doesn’t stand a chance against Epic if this is the best it can do. The Epic iOS app isn’t perfect, but it’s light years ahead of ECW.

POC. Not only is the program bad, but the server based at eclinical works is also slow and goes down all the time. On every patient there are NDI medication mismatchs which makes you enter the medication by hand. Entering meds and orders takes a huge number of clicks. Result displays are limited to 5 previous labs. Displays on Macintosh systems are awful and barely usable for home use. The whole company is an embarrassment that only survives due to two monopoly like practices and physicians being stuck with their system after they started it years ago and being unable to change. Help!!

Horrible app. Ecw needs to do a better job with this mobile app. It’s freezes up and glitches all the time. I have made multiple complaints in the past to the company about these problems. Even Trying to write this review the app froze up. For awhile the mobile app had trouble finding pharmacies. I really wish they would fix the problem. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but after while it gets very frustrating.

Such a nice surprise. This is a no-added cost component to the continuously improving Eclinicalworks electronic medical record. We are in our 10th year now of using Eclinicalworks and have found incremental improvement in the portal, messenger and interoperability. V10 web-based version refreshes the interface and adds some new useful features. This mobile app works well and is a big help on call to review diagnosis, lab history and make a new phone encounter. I reviewed labs waiting at the dentist yesterday. There is a lot of pressure to switch to Epic from large health systems - but ECW continues to compete for our business as independent practices. This Ap is a good enhancement.

Deserves Zero. Difficult to use is under statement. Says it will merge things Doesn’t. Half the time the microphone icon won’t show up. If someone say’s let’s use ECW anything run. This could be the case that the company I am working for is entirely too cheap to give me the computer support that I deserve and need. I strongly suggest if you were buying any ECW products that you make certain that the dictation system works appropriately and that you have adequate support staff either in-house or from ECW.

Too glitchy. You literally can not get through a day without issues. From inexplicably changing the cursor to the middle of a paragraph to flat just not working. You spend way to many hours of your life re-reading and correcting nonsense, or staring at a spinning circle. When it works, it is a good app, but you will literally never get through a day without at least one glitch and usually multiple glitches. Simply agony.

Too many options missing w/o that being clear. When I tried to send in a controlled substance, clonazepam, my FOB Number was not requested and the prescription disappeared as if it had gone in but in fact it failed because of the absence of a FOB number. And many other aspects of this particular product are either clumsy to use or cannot be used easily. For example, picking Prescriptions to send in is difficult to impossible. If we put our operative schedule in this particular app, however, the app makes it easy for us to call our postoperative patients and that is nice. This product seems quite inadequately developed and is in need of a great deal of additional attention.

Terrible implementation of a terrible EMR. This software is absolutely terrible. If your Health system is thinking about using e clinical works, please steer them away! It has taking me half the day just to login to this mobile app because of poor password implementation. (Passwords are not the same across platforms, and when you change the password in the desktop version, it takes 15 minutes… Yes 15 minutes before you can log into the mobile app !??!? Really???). Functionality is exceedingly limited (although I was able to perform a phone note documentation via the phone.) and the user interface has terrible implementation and is completely non-intuitive. It certainly wasn’t designed by anybody who works in healthcare. Bottom line…find a better product..this one is bottom of the barrel.

Great for what it does. As long as you don’t expect a full service app this does what it’s supposed to. It’s a handy way to portably check your schedule, a patients medical info, or even send a prescription in an emergency (although trickier). At times it’s hard to navigate but as a pocket quick task manager, not meant to replace any more robust versions of eClinicalWorks, I’m grateful to have this option.

It’s great...when it works. Which is about ⅓ of the time. Scribe feature is great. But app fails to load more often than not, either the log-in, or the schedule screen, or when transitions to encounters and back it freezes. Thought it was my WiFi....happens with office WiFi, hospital, home, off WiFi. Thought it was my phone, reset it, got new phone...app still unresponsive. Do better eClinicalMobile, this could be great. Dr. T

C for effort. Sluggish performance, many days lab results are three days old and newer results not available on the mobile app. Often I open the app, and nothing else moves. Have to close and start over. Cannot reply to a provider message unless their name is already in our favorites list. Often it is not so a reply not possible on the mobile app. Similar issue with patient when messages. There is a button to reply, but it does not work.

5% works and 95% do not work. This is my first review on any app ever, but considering that we pay big money for this program and app, maybe someone who works on this company decides to do the job right. The 5% of the time that works it does the job very well but sadly 95% of the time does not work. Even after updates is never reliable. -How a company that makes good money from several medical practices is not able to get this app to work and be reliable? Why do they pay for a mediocre job… somebody is not doing the job right and should not be in the company tech team… I will remove all the tech team assigned to the app development and start over again with fresh brains and tech team, plenty of good talents out there for a better price than the current mediocre behind this app. Just my 2 cents. Thank you

Marginally better than online. eCW is a worksheet based EMR with no useful interoperability. It is clunky, slow and obsolete at best. The app had the potential to be better, but frankly is almost as frustrating. Using it reminds me of dialup AOL. The IT folks at the company spend their days clicking around a computer/phone screen and design their products so that is what anyone unfortunate enough to be forced to use them does, too. Save your money and look at ElationHealth. Would be infinitely more user friendly if one could prep the online chart (as one often does) with Assessment already completed and dictate the plan from that list. Instead the system forces a selection of icd10 codes EVERY TIME. despite the fact that the codes are ALREADY selected in the Problem List. Are there ANY clinical people working with this company??

Constant problems. This app has just about as many bugs as ECW itself. Constant freezing not logging back in. You have no clue when you log in if it’s actually going to let you do any kind of work on it. The app is suppose to be convenient the only thing it is for me a notice on my phone that something in ecw is available for me to look at or address, which honestly is a nuisance during my days off if I can’t quick and conveniently look at it then why even get notified.

Most Unstable App I’ve used in medicine. I’d give 0 stars if I could. This app crashes constantly and the only fix is to delete the app and redownload. I have to do that almost daily, because I do procedures and I have to add photos to my notes. If I were a practice director, this app alone would be reason enough to not use eClinicalWorks as an EMR. if you want a functional mobile app, go with Epic or Cerner. Whatever money you save going with eCW is not worth it.

Horrible support system. All support is coming from India which I have terrible time understanding their accent. Also they seem very novice on programming or troubleshooting. They try to be very polite but wasting my time. They have some knowledge on technical stuffs but not very intuitive and creative. I am regretting being stuck with this EMR. I would not recommended this EMR to anyone. Now I am just stuck with contract and they are extremely not cooperative, especially when we try to integrate our lab to EMR, LIS system. This should be very simple, but they are not very helpful. My buddy who is computer programmer told me he does not understand why we are not done for lab integration as his clinic integrated within a week. Again, DO Not go with this EMR system. None of my partners is happy with this EMR

Considering the owner it is sub par. Considering the widespread use of the e clinical works I would have expected a much better application that has more useful abilities. It does help me sometimes to have an idea of what's going on with the patients while I am not in the office. It is lacking quite a bit of functionality. I would have expected this application with a more primitive EMR System. I hope in future upgrades they would do a better job like adding our testings and more of the patient reports rather than just the ability to review our notes.

So much potential. When working, this is a very useful application, which vastly improves my productivity. However, it is profoundly unreliable, not opening on the first or second try, sometimes not working at all. I sometimes have had to delete the application and re-download it. If they ever get this figured out, this would be an amazing addition to the program.

Unreliable and useless. Why would any EMR system create a mobile app that doesn't integrate with the desktop version? When a new patient schedules an appointment or requests an appointment, none of that information is visible on the mobile app schedule. Even blocked times don't show up on the schedule. Notification emails generate a link to a desktop version of E clinical mobile, that has zero functionality and requires use of the mobile app on the phone. oh, and don't even get me started on the wasted amount of time spent with the clinical work support team. It seems like they don't have any sort of seamless transition, warm handoff, or understanding of what happens between different components of their EMR. every call is like starting brand new and typically ends up without anything productive happening.

For a pure tech company this is a horrible horrible app. As a physician that has used eCW for years I would at some point in time the company would fix the app so that it was reliable they never have. When it does wotk I would give it one star but since it rarely does I can’t even give it that. It use to work with face recognition but for some reason that is beyond my understanding they got ride of that. Very disappointed overall.

Some enhancements. Ability to use Nuance Voice recognition to dictate into notes is good. But the "Scribe" system is very frustrating in that you can't dictate into some categories (like "Assessment Notes"). And more importantly, if Scribe doesn't recognize some text, IT SIMPLY DELETES IT and doesn't appear in your note, and no notification to user that it wasn't recognized. Ability to insert photos into notes is 5-star. Another annoyance... eCW has been promoting Touch ID signin capability for >1 year, but still NOT in current release. Sister program "eClinicalTouch" for iPad supports Touch ID. eCW needs to implement that here too.

Bad app. I’m glad to read that it’s not just me having issues with this app. I’m trying to link another practice but there is no option for me to do so. Seniors, especially, I’m sure are having difficulties with this new system, using for med appointments, medication refills, test results, etc. to find out info on your own. The program that’s so unreliable, why do doctors keep using it? I downloaded the healow app, well it did not save the icon by itself. Every time you need it opens on iCloud where you can just “OPEN” the app. This app is so ridiculous I wasted so much time trying to figure it out. All in all, this app is not a reliable recommendation for doctors to use. I hope someone is listening or reading all the reviews here.

Dr. Lajvardi. E clinical software is great except for this mobile app it lacks some of the critical features so it makes it useless and the futures that it does have has one single problem. The software is glitchy and I have to constantly force quit it and restart again. please fire the entire team responsible for the mobile app. and get some real team members in there. You would think after four years you guys would fix these problems since I’ve joined.

Rx function needs improvement. Great app, would give it 5 stars but the main thing I like to use it for is sending prescriptions and it doesn’t have all the same pharmacies as it does on the PC, and poor ways to look them up. Otherwise it’s very useful to look up weights, visits, etc

Unreliable. It has some great features when it works, but it crashes and/or gets “frozen” more than every other app on my phone combined…. X 10. I’ve just had to delete and reinstall the app for the 2nd time this month, for example. When it does work, the dictation feature is amazing, and being able to just check in briefly at the schedule, phone encounters, etc, when out of the office is great. This app has a lot of potential, but needs a loooot of work.

Huge disappointment.. Terrible app compared to eclinicalTouch. Left my iPad at home so trying to get work done with iPhone app. E-refills are next to impossible to do and phone notes I can never trust if the message is saving and/or being sent to the patient or staff member. Only thing this is good for is dictating (which it is actually excellent at dictating using Dragon Medical which is why I’m doing 2 stars instead of 1) and taking photos to be imported to the chart. I suppose it’s also good at looking up patient info in a pinch. Otherwise, I would expect to be able to do as much with this phone app (especially with an Xs Max) as the iPad app, and sadly I cannot. Very frustrating. The iPad app (eclinicalTouch) is so much more useful.

60/40. Most of the information is there that you need while on the go, but it doesn’t always work the way it should you have to log out a bunch of times before it’ll open to a screen where you are trying to see something. Useful and frustrating

Terrible. eClinical mobile app is just awful. The latest update with “bug fixes” created bugs that didn’t exist. Now the app immediately closes every time I try to open it on my iPhone. So frustrating. Who are the losers working behind the scenes for this company?? It’s maddening. I must say that even when it is working it’s almost unusable. Many times it freezes and has to be restarted. It is also painfully slow opening encounters.

Unfortunately forced to transition to this app. Our company switched to this app for medical coding . I’m a doctor and don’t feel like I should be spending a lot of my time or effort on billing and coding. This app is extremely clinician unfriendly. You can’t sort rounding list by alphabetical. You can’t see a list of submitted codes to check for mistakes. The ICD search function is poor and has tons of outdated ICD-9 codes. Everything that took 1 or 2 clicks on previous apps takes at least 5. It’s slow and freezes a a lot. Just overall poor product on user end.

Totally Unreliable!. We’ve been using eCW in our office since 2009, and eCWmobile since its inception. Both products have become increasingly unstable and require severale rebootings a day to function. The mobile product, when it even works, usually necessitates several attempts to open before loading. Over the past 2 months It fails to load even the sign on page and I’ve had to remove and reinstall the app at least 6-7 times during this period. There is NO customer support. the clinic product, instead of improving work flow has become less efficient, requires more clicks, and freezes frequently. I hate both products. We are switching to EPIC

Still broken. It’s now been over two weeks since their last “update” rendered the app unusable, and today’s update did nothing to fix the problem. I have to use this app for work, and it is utterly ridiculous that the developers cannot either fix the issue or revert to a previous, functional version. I also noticed that my prior review mysteriously and conveniently disappeared. Maybe spend less time policing reviews and more time fixing bugs?

Convenient but limited. I really like using ecw app because I’m always on the road visiting patients. But, when I try to send meds to their pharmacy the search function is limited in showing the list and searching for the right one is near impossible. I wish they will fix it where you can search using phone nos.

Eclinicalmobile. Server or application is so slow. Would time out all the time. Would dictate my chart and then when you click scribe it; it wouldn’t scribe. Sometimes when you click on your schedule; it would go no where. Can’t upload photos either and now labs wouldn’t even come through. First, thought it was my phone but I contacted other providers and they are having the same problems. Also, when you sign in, all you get is a blank screen and the home page does not load. What good is an app when it is unreliable half the time. It is a waste of your time.

This app is terrible!. The company doesn’t seem to care if the app actually works. In theory, it would be wonderful to be able to respond quickly to telephone encounters and prescription. Refill requests on the fly, but since those functions don’t reliably work, it is worse than useless. My current biggest issue is that I can’t even check my schedule for a future date because accessing my schedule freezes the app, which then has to be restarted, in order to access any other function.

Not bad, needs not capability. It’s a handy app to get access to schedule and basic patient info. Would like to see the ability to add to/change my schedule from my app. Would also like to be able to view documents scanned into patient’s chart.

Only adequate. This is an essential app for eClinicalWorks users & it works adequately. I expect much more for the amount of money we spend on our EHR. Simple improvements that should be part of this app: 1. Biometric ID 2. Correct aspect ratio for new model phones 3. Improved photo app 4. Being able to “ghost” our office phone number when making a call to our patients

TERRIBLE. If all you want to do is know pt is yours on call, say yes/no to refills or mark normal labs reviewed, this program is for you. However, after computers are around 75 years and handheld devices over 25 years, you expect an app that really works and is comprehensive. Even if everything it says it can do worked (which it does not) it would only be 20% what it needs to be for the 21st century.

Frustrating. Frequent bugs. Frequent fixes. Frequent issues. If it worked 99% of the time it would be 5/5 stars but bc I bc seem to have more issues than help with it I’m frustrated. I primarily use the scribe feature to complete my notes & when app is down or not working it messes up my flow with dictating my notes.

Have to keep reloading App. App will work fine first time downloaded, second use it shuts down once or twice then runs. Third time it won’t load so delete the App and start over. Has a very poor Pharmacy search capability. Otherwise a great way to handle on call questions and send new scripts to different pharmacies with today’s current shortages

Glitchy, still. Annoying to have it glitch out frequently. Also, why can we not see our schedules more than one month out on the app?? I only have gave it two stars because when it works, especially with voice recognition, it works well.

eCW - good for quick review. I find the mobile version of eCW is good to access daily schedules and review information from office or phone encounters. Rx function does not seem to work and after one med failure I do not have confidence in this piece. Overall, it is a good app.

Very pleased!. I am using Scribe to dictate my progress notes in my office. It is extremely easy to use and the quality of my documentation is now much, much better. Thanks, eCw!!

Such a great edition to care tools. I love having a quick way to check up coming schedule and labs. I know it will evolve and improve with everyone evaluating it so the tech can get it smoother and more intuitive

I cant see the words and no access to docs. The app is very helpful but very limited. It accesses only notes but nothing in docs. So if im looking for an old test result stored in docs i cant get to it. Frustrating. Moreover. There is no ability to enlarge the print so the "mature" physician can read it. Cant that be fixed easily? Otherwise very helpful to have the chart in my phone.

Keeps Crashing. The latest update keeps crashing immediately on startup. The fix is to delete and download the app. Again and again and again and again….

Works well. It is great to have access to patients' charts on the go, and to be able to eRx as well is fantastic. It has saved me a few times.

Needs more work. When it works is a great app but when it does not it’s not reliable The access can be problematic I love the picture feature when I need to add photos it has help the documentation

Works well but needs some more features. The app works well. Easy access to schedule and patients chart. One key feature missing is being able to use Face ID and or Touch ID to unlock. This would save so much time. Please add these features.

Freezes can’t write or send orders. I feel this app was an after thought. It freezes so frequently it’s frustrating. I gave it two stars because I can occasionally read notes. And once I was able to look at my schedule. Had high hopes for it making my life easier on move. But so disappointed

Great when it works. Excellent when all features are operational however it does seem that maybe a 20% of the time I have trouble getting past the first screen to the home screen

Horrible and frustrated. Used to work fine until the last 3 months and now it’s a 95% chance the app isn’t working enough even to attempt an actual login which still takes multiple tries! At best I can get it to work 2-3 times every 100 and that’s not an exaggeration

Ok. Like the APP but wish it had a little more functionality. Can’t change who labs are assigned to when asking nurse to call patient. Also frequently will not transfer long scribed notes into the note from APP to chart after hitting “scribe it”. Very frustrating. Recently it won’t even open. I have to uninstall and reinstall every couple days.

Frustrating. The mobile version is rather frustrating. In order to sign off on labs you can’t timestamp. Also, the app has a significant lag every time you query a patient. Rather annoying, but at least I can look at my daily schedule without having to start up the laptop.

Slow and unreliable. I have used this app off and on for a few years. I never fails to disappoint. It is slow to log in, slow to open a page, slow to scan a document and slow to send a medication. As a side note, it is only slow if it decides to even open. Hence the slow and unreliable title. They have clearly not put any real time into making this work better.

Fairly bad. Crashes all the time. I can’t count how many times I have to redownload this because it won’t load. Has minimal amount of features that would be expected. If the company spent some time to improve this, would be greatly appreciated

Change your EMR. Do you like an unreliable product? How about aAnd inept tech-support with a questional grasp of the English language? Then you'll love eclinical. The only thing worse than the actual EMR, is the app. Enjoy it briefly, before it kicks you off, forgets that you were ever an actual account holder,Refusing to let you back on.

Not bad. It is not bad but needs more work. Frequently is slow and frequently it crashes. Not ready for prim time. After revamp , make sure it is tested and the release it for profesional use.

New user. Seems fine so far but only using this for the past 2months

ECW user for 5 yrs. They have made no meaningful improvement in the Apps function, layout, speed, efficiency and overall reliability in the last 5yrs. It is just as cumbersome to use as the desktop and cloud version with its limited window sizes and ability to access documents. Overall, a very poor app for a physician on the go.

Pretty good. Compared to Dr Rounds, this app is better, and the fact that links to our server is awesome. Has some bugs but overall very easy to use, fast to input data. Definitely recommend it, I use it only for hospital billing, my biller loves it. Not the 5 stars due to some bugs that are nonetheless manageable.

Helpful and Convenient. For the most part very helpful, convenient, and provides access remotely. I use it for scheduling, dictating notes, and confirming my schedule. Occasional glitches and freezes, but good for the most part.

Disappointing. This app would be great if it only worked. To get in, it times out repeatedly and needs to be reinstalled. It’s also not unusual for it to create error messages after the dictation has been done or time out when it’s time to scribe it.

Works 50 percent of the time. If I only had to be attentive and responsive 50 percent of the time when on call this would be the perfect app. Rx don’t sent even when noted to be saved. Constant pinwheel of death. Locks up and is completely dangerous as it changes rx in the middle of writing them. Eclinical is going to be named in a lawsuit because of this one. Emergency for them to address this!!!

It doesn't work. Often is not, the app won't even open. When it does, it is incredibly slow. Does not allow for pictures to be added to a patient's chart, unless there is a formal office visit scheduled for the same day which many other EMR's do allow. Rudimentary function at best. Would think they would have improved this.

Needs improvement. It is not reliable, quite slow, as a portable option we can not depend on it. I use mostly to send Rx but very often I can not do it due to software failure

Unreliable, poor support, avoid Ecw if you can. App is not a functional extension of EHR. Also need to repeatedly set up access to the app through the desktop. Not efficient. Basically just allows you to see your schedule and view some of the notes when it is working.

Helpful when it works. The layout is simple and easy to read. Which makes it way easier to use than the actual computer app which is horrible. Unfortunately, the mobile app freezes after about 10 to 20 seconds of use most of the time. If it didn’t do this it would be very helpful!

Does not work. It is great in theory. Freezes up all the time. Can’t select my nurse unless have saved to favorites. I can’t utilize it as it says is allowed because will stop working. Rarely ever functions properly. Now app won’t even open for a month. The “tickets” never get addressed. Doesn’t work most time!

This app helps me function better. Love the app for pictures, I wish it would tell me if my patients have arrived at least and when(time). It helps me when out of the office as well.

Poor app for essential function. Frustration reigns with this app. Very slow connection to its server. Wait, wait, wait. (The program is fast enough when my smartphone is in charge.) You never know what you will get when you state your patient’s name. Really? The name ought to be automatically added to the app’s vocabulary. The company doesn’t seem to listen to suggestions, yet I bet they are really proud of this sub par app.

Need to be able to mark results. When reviewing labs, there needs to be an option to mark the result as normal, abnormal, positive, negative, etc prior to reviewing or reassigning the labs. There is an option to write free text as a note or internal note, but there needs to be an option to mark the result. I’ve emailed customer service, but they do not reply

Good for derm lesions or chronic wounds. This application works well for taking pictures and documenting skin lesions. I like the fact that I can use my phone (which I always have with me) to take the photo, but none of it is stored on my phone; to go directly to the server.

Pharmacy list. Decent mobile app for the ECW platform but in terms of prescription E prescribing, when I enter a pharmacy name, a generic pharmacy list comes up only without any sense. It is the same list over and over again regardless of the city or state. Please fix

Dragon/escribe. I’m excited to see that I can scribe using my mic on the phone. Initially data was lost because I didn’t hit the scribe button which syncs the mobile data with the clinic data live. This has enabled me to work faster and see more patients 👍🏽👍🏽

I wish I didn’t have to work with eCW. This app is horrible to use. It frequently kicks me off when I’m in the middle of a dictation. Half the time it doesn’t save my dictations. When trying to dictate things such as HPI or “treatment notes” it frequently will not add the appropriate header under which I am attempting to dictate and I then have to go into the app and add it manually. Honestly, this app makes me hate E clinical works more than I already did.

Good dictation, a lot of other things could be better. Quite limited in functionality & glitchy, but it really does seem to have a great dictation function (which works most of the time), which has been quite helpful!!

Inferior product. The product is absolutely horrible. The EMR is awful. If I could get rid of it tomorrow I would, and I most likely will. I am in the process of shopping for a new electronic medical record system, because I actually think. They go out of their way to make our life miserable. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Good app. I appreciate that it has eprescribe capability but would be wonderful if I can also send controlled substances. Also, if I can search pharmacy using phone numbers or addresses would be very helpful. All in all I am pleased to have this app in my pocket.

Doesn’t work!!!. Has become more unreliable! The vast majority of the time the app just doesn’t work. Won’t load any information. Just get a spinning wheel that times out. So incredibly frustrating to not be able to utilize this when away from a computer or iPad and needing to do something for a patient or look up information.

Poor app. Very cumbersome, slow to move from screen to screen. Should be more intuitive and easier to use. Very frustrating each time I use it. Something is wrong with the foundation of eCW. It’s terrible and adds another couple of hours to an already long day.

If it’s not frozen, it’s beyond limited. Colossal waste of time and effort. ECW is clearly not interested in updating or managing this very cursory service. Why does it allow you to receive messages but not respond to them? Why does the schedule module freeze for minutes on end? Why bother running an app if you’re going to allow it to fester in the 1980s?

Mobile app quirks. Would like an option to see which meds have been prescribed AND sent through escribe. Currently I can see that they are present in a note but cannot ascertain if have been sent. Also some lab results such as urine culture results cannot be viewed.

Okay, but needs more functionality. It’s great to be able to access the limited areas, but it would be nice to have the option to at least view referrals and documents. Even on the iPad version it isn’t great. I give two stars for the limited functions.

App needs to be revamped!. This app is OLD. Other EMR’s apps are more technologically advanced than this dinosaur. Provider is u able to see any documents or: EKG, device check, MCOT to name a few. This app needs to offer more options on the mobile version. The dr doesn’t want to carry an IPad around the hospital. I’m very disappointed that they were not able to offer an app for offices that are on the latest version of ECW. The co will tell you it’s bc of the other offices that don’t want to switch to upgraded version therefore they cannot upgrade the app. Other EMR’s are making ECW look bad. I never would’ve switched if I knew the dr would be in the dark with patient records while he’s on the go.
