Needs a lot of work. Storm was my go to weather app. It was the absolute best and I hated to see it go. I am very weather savvy as I majored in meteorology for a year and a half. This app has been going down hill for a while. The local temp is never correct. When I woke this morning about 5 hours ago it said it was 31 degrees when it was really 39. Now it still says 31 and it’s actually 41. This is the norm. The storm tracks are terrible and the future radar has not worked for weeks. Also, the app fails to update the local weather more often than not. Fix it or I’m deleting it.

Terrific weather & radar app!. If you’re like me - a former loyal user of the Storm app, which was abandoned recently, you have found your new weather home. This is the first app I’ve found that is as good or even better in some cases as the original Storm app. You’ll find everything of what you loved about Storm here. And the interface is much better. Easier. It’s got more potential. Weather Mate has all the bells and whistles I was accustom to in Storm and MORE!! Stuff like Radar, Pressure Fronts, Storm Tracks, Lightning & much more. You won't find them in any other app now. I’ve spent a lot of time and money evaluating almost all weather apps on the app store & concluded that Weather Mate beats the competition fair & square. Most importantly, the people running this seem like they actually care about their users, and will listen to user feedback. So delete that piece of crap, Storm Radar (which replaced the original Storm app), and ante up for this terrific replacement. Bye bye Weather Channel, and good luck with your "upgrade". Now that I’ve found this new weather home, I hope it remains on iTunes and stays supported for a very long time.

Really, really thought this was my go to app. I was excited when I found this app as it utilizes PWS data instead of some unknown location. The layout is weird with the huge clock (why?), tiny temperature and wind and tiny text. Also annoying are the 5 second ads when you first open the app. Other than that I liked it until our first storm. The app never did acknowledge our winter weather advisory, never showed the advisory or nearby warnings on the radar and never sent any notifications. For a weather app that is an epic fail. I almost bought the pro version, glad I waited. I’m deleting it and looking for something more reliable and trustworthy.

Accurate. Easy reading. Comprehensive. Unique.. Few days ago, when all the others on my wife's iPad said 26° WeatherMate said 42° which was spot on with the TV weather dude. Best presentation of Weather Underground data. Why? You can actually pick *exactly* which weather station you want to use. (Check the Weather Underground site for a map of the ones nearest you.) I keep coming back to WeatherMate. Easy to read. Plenty of detail, even for weather geeks. Tried 20+ other weather apps: no kidding. Some pretty good ones, some trash. I’m a weather geek. I put it on mi esposa’s iPad, she prefers it too. Let's face it: other weather apps are simply inferior. WeatherMate sources from the nearest station. (In our case, a mere half mile away.) Makes a huge difference in our hilly desert southwest. The software is nicely done: smooth scrolling, comprehensive detail (even travel planner with historic norms). Access to long text and suspected hourlies is easy. Selection among a plethora of display elements is easy. The widget is great. Support is generous and courteous. 😊 WeatherMate, rain or shine. 🌤

Good app but ads over the top. I understand the need for ads when not paying for an app but there comes a point where the ads are so frequent/intrusive that the app is not usable. If I were to consider paying for an app, on principle, I will not invest in an app that is so greedy it uses these ad tactics. Weatherwise, this looks like a great app and I particularly love the overview map that can show weather systems, the jetstream, etc. My understanding is that this is the old/or bought by/or bought, weather underground. Good content. Ads too much. Most apps want to get you hooked on using them and simply maybe have an opening ad and/or a banner at the bottom. This app does the banner, an opening ad, and another ad every time you interact with app at all. Wouldn’t know if I like to subscribe because it’s too frustrating of an experience even using the app to begin with.

HANDS DOWN, BEST WEATHER APP EVER!!!!!!. I’ve been looking for a good weather app with storm tracks, etc. since Intellicast,bwhich changed to Storm and ruined the app. I got use to Storm (because I had too) but then I had to pay for everything I use to get for free and actually worked. ( crashed all the time when tapping on storm tracks for more information). Since then I haven’t found one that I liked or even came close…….. Until today when I found the all time best weather app ever. WEATHER MATE, you made my day. thank you so much for a great app. with all the layers I’ve been use to and much, much, more. Please don’t change anything! Please don’t be like the others and get greedy and take everything away unless you pay. I noticed you do have a “PRO upgrade” but I it doesn’t seem any different to me. Unless it’s to only to remove adds. Anyway, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS APP. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Don’t change it please.

Maybe ok. I would like the app if the pop ups weren’t so hard to close out. Many of them linger and force you to select them and then close out of them before going back to the app. When that occurs I simply go to another weather app to get my forecast. Do I want to pay a subscription, no. With the costs of everything going up, except our wages, apps who want to charge are being eliminated from my phone as I can’t afford it.

Great App.. This is the best weather app. I have found so far! So good that I don’t mind the ads—a small price to pay. It loads quickly—something that many other apps do not. I haven’t paid to eliminate ads, but for the first time am considering it. I especially appreciate the wind arrows on the map and especially the frontal boundaries (THANK YOU!). The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it is missing two map features that I desire and would find extremely helpful: 1) The jet stream as a map layer. 2) Being able to view the wind arrows for different altitudes—high altitude winds reveal much information about what the weather is doing.

DLROLLH. I’m rather fussy about my weather apps since I live around 100 miles from any place that has a TV station to get a report from. I could depend on the local radio guess but I think it’s taken from a crystal ball or something like that. This app has everything I want or could possibly ask for in information about my local weather, will give me reports from anywhere in the world, and is more accurate than any other app I’ve found. You can’t ask for more than that. This is the app for me and you!!

The app is nice. The iPhone app is nice, but pretty much on the same level with competitors save the Apple Watch app. I downloaded this app for its Apple Watch complication which appeared buggy. Sometimes it hangs, and doesn’t update data. Hopefully the future update will fix it. But I like it when it works. Please, fix the watch complication. Update: after a few months of use I find this app very useful, quite sophisticated having lots of details. Apple Watch complication works with minor delay when it comes to updating data though.

Upgrade fails!. I really like the app and have attempted to upgrade to the paid version, but the process failed at the "Manage Payment" screen, three times! Since the free version gives me everything I want, I guess I'll have to stick with that! Update to my review: the problem was in my Apple Store settings, not the app. I was able to upgrade fine, works great now!

Best option as of now, but could use a little work. I feel like it’s somewhat unsafe to have huge commercials covering the weather if this is your main weather source... in the case of a weather emergency I could see things going very wrong. Also, having the weather forecast on a line graph is a lot easier to make sense of than several collapsing segments. Other than those two, this has much of the information that weather underground dumped down the toilet when they were sold the first time and definitely after the second merger. I have high hopes that this will get better and be the replacement I’m looking for! I’ve only been using this for a few days but I already hope they make a functioning website and apps for other brands.

Had it with the ads!. It’s a good app. Very good. Awhile back I gave it a glowing review despite the few, short ads. Today I opened this app and was immediately faced with a Lending Tree ad, which had no X to turn it off, and was taking too long, so I went to my other weather app. I still wanted to look at the “future” radar screen, but there was the same, overly long LT ad. This time I waited over 30 seconds but the ad stayed, so I touched the little arrow which I believed would take me to more of the ad. Instead, I got the screen as I had hoped to do, but as soon as I touched the radar button, the doggoned LT ad came on again! I don’t mind sitting through one short ad if the app is a good one. With this app there is always an extra ad if you want to watch the radar. I don’t appreciate that, but the second ad was previously very short. To have to see the same long ad twice before you can watch the radar is unacceptable Weather Mate, you have lost a supportive fan. You seem to have forgotten that you have more, excellent weather app competition out there to compel you to keep up with it, but, instead you are falling back.

Great!. After the original Storm got sold off and shut down I tried multiple weather apps, a bunch, and finally settled on WeatherMate. The app hasn’t let me down since! It’s accurate, as much as it can be expected in the mountains anyhow, hard to predict what the weather will do here precisely, especially in the microclimate areas, but overall does very well with it. Plenty of features as well. I do have an issue now though, not with the app but the ads. Some of the new ads have no way of closing them. They are excessively long as well, but getting through them all the way doesn’t offer a solution to exit out of the window. In the past these have popped up and I believe WeatherMate has taken them down quickly, please get this new batch off screen so I can keep enjoying this wonderful app, thank you! Update: the ads got fixed not long after my original comment. This app was really good at predicting the weather, but lately has been quite off. I’m not sure if they’ve switched to a new algorithm or what, but I haven’t been able to rely on this app these first couple months of 2023. I’ll stick with it though and see if something changes.

It's all I need. Previous weather app was discontinued. I didn't expect to find a free app with all the features I might want. Weather Mate was a surprise. It's got a great map feature and all the details I need. I occasionally find yet another feature that I hadn't realized was available. I have mine set to wake up on the live map which is what I reference most often. Try it, you'll like it. UPDATE: Radar feature stopped working. I deleted the app and reloaded it. Good as new. Still recommend it highly.

Nice BUT no support. A pretty decent weather app with no in-app purchases or subscription requirements. The “Alert” feature is in-app, meaning you ave to open it up to know if an alert has been issued, which is less than helpful. Overall worth keeping - BUT - three times I have attempted to contact their Customer Support about an issue with ads overriding my phone being muted, and coming on full volume. And three times I received zero response at all. Not even “buy the ad free version” (which is not an acceptable answer in any case). No app is THAT good that it’s worth crappy or non-existent Customer Support. DE-LETE.

Great app. Better customer support.. I bought this app for its ability to show storm tracks on the radar. So I was disappointed when I downloaded it and they didn’t work. Thinking it was a setting I couldn’t find I contacted customer support by email. They immediately responded and told me that their source for the tracking info had been discontinued and they were searching for a new one and it would be deployed in a future update. A couple of weeks later I received another email from them informing me the new source had been found and the update would be rolling out soon. Sure enough a day later it was ready to update. They’re attention to my problem made me feel like I was their only customer and they were personally taking care of me. 5 stars well earned!

This app works better than before. This app is called weather Mate and you can get Zarvox to announce the weather which is kind of interesting, you can also do different voices in settings, app of your device, and you can change voices and how you can make your device speak it would say things like the current weather in coon rapids United States is partly cloudy with 65°F.

Well done app. So far excellent. Due to health issues I very much appreciate a detailed & reliable weather report. This app does the job. I also appreciate the moderate advertising & the details on the widget. I tried several other apps & this one is a winner! Good job, guys. Thank you. Spoke too soon. Once I gave it rave review, the aggressive full page timed ads started. They even are timed so you cannot get rid of them until they run their course. I get it that some advertising is necessary for the free version, but then again the deception as well as the aggressive ads... well, you be the judge. I’m uninstalling. Back to the drawing board. 3stars for the excellent layout.

It's alright but could be better. The only weather app I've seen that has map annotation tools, that's nice. Much appreciate the dark mode radar. It'd be nice if more of the app had dark mode The design of the main screen looks a little outdated, but it's informative and that nice. The bottom add banner on the main screen is neatly included, and doesn't look out of place or too intrusive, thanks. The widget customization is supper useful. The ads can be annoying but I've seen worse. Would like the air quality button to be on the main screen, rather than in the menu. Possible bug: opening "Current Weather Condition" conditions in the settings opens but flashes the previous screen and then displays the "Current Weather Condition" settings, going back to the main settings screen also has a delay. Bugs: moving map can make weather warnings, such as air advisories disappear (with default layers enabled) Unable to view weather stations.

Good. I’ve only had it for a little while yet but it gives a great amount of detail. Definitely an improvement over the stock weather app on the iPhone, although it doesn’t have the option of having all the different ‘current conditions’ pages for different locations. I didn’t use that much anyway so no big loss there. There are a couple of ads that come up when you go to the radar page but they do go away and aren’t too very annoying. Good app overall.

Really great app.. Great app. Like the way it is laid out. Easy to use and understand. Two observations. The temperature seems to be off. In testing out other apps your wind chill reading is the temp that matches up with other apps. Your main temp reading is always high. On your storm tracks it would be neat if when you click on one it would also list the towns or cities in it’s projected path. Again, it’s a great app.

Best weather app -truly local weather for old iPads < OS 10.0!. As long as this weather app does not require OS higher than 9.0, I will pay to support & upgrade to Pro. I had to switch, when my weather app upgraded to 10.0 OS, & Apple will not upgrade my 2014 iPad >9.0!! I can seek out a truly local wather station for my local weather in the foothills, rather than read the airport's weather, miles from the mountains! That is a big plus for me, since previous apps would not let you do this.

❤️it & easy to use.. I love the different windows & learn so much from them. Thank you for such a good job on this app. When I have a few extra bucks I’ll probably go pro. The ads are not too bad but that red alert that I accidentally hit trying to get rid of it took over my phone as in inserted itself in my profile and added its self to my email address. I didn’t explain well but it was not fun trying to get rid of it. Love the ap. The app developers know what they are doing. Lots of experience behind them.

Somewhat accurate. Many times we get a message saying rain will begin in X minutes and continue for X minutes in BALCH Springs. Most times the rain doesn’t materialize. This may not be the fault of the app. Many times storms move around our neighborhood, yet bypasses us. Other than that I like the App . A feature I would like is tracking of tornado threats on the ground or threat of possible tornados in the metroplex. We don’t have TV so to be able to watch the weather and see where the threat is, by city/county would be very helpful.

Great app so far!. I downloaded this app a couple of days ago. What I like about it is the main page that pops up has all the current condition information listed. Time, temperature, wind, etc. I really like seeing that because hello that’s what I want to know right away. Then you can scroll down and see current day and subsequent days information. At the top of the app you will find an icon to toggle to radar. App seems simple to use and informational. I’ve tried a lot of weather apps in the past and right now this seems to be what I’m looking for.

Complete, easy to use weather app. I switched to this weather app because it shows everything in one colorful, easy to read page. It is more accurate because there are more choices for weather stations - in my city the weather can vary greatly from one part to another. Was so impressed that I upgraded to Pro since I knew this was a better weather app for me.

Weather mate. While we all have our own favorite weather apps, and like me, you have probably tried many, this is the one that I found most useful for my purposes of planning tracks for dogs (and farming). I have it to be accurate enough that I recommended it on my Following Ghosts Facebook page. I was able to plug in a local PWS (personal weather station) that is under 2 miles (3.22K) away. Where I live, the default town is 6 miles (9.6K) away and 700ft (213m) lower than us in elevation and actually in a different USDA planting zone! The radar screen which can give you several hours of past, or computer models of future storm activities, and the hourly forecasts. The daily and hourly forecasts can be checked a full 10 days out. Its drawback for me is that it only has a 6 hour future feature on the radar forecast. This is the app I use for checking conditions at locations where students are when I am doing online private lessons. And yes it does work world wide (disclaimer, only checked England, Italy, and Australia). Between the hourly and future radar, with practice you can easily figure and know changes within 10 – 15 minutes of there occurrence. If you have an app that makes sense and works for you, stick with it. If you don’t, this one is worth checking.

Well organized weather app. I have two weather apps I use on my devices. This is one of them. The layout is straight forward. I really like that when I open the app, all the current conditions are listed right there. So many apps would have me scrolling through them to the different sections for wind or pressure, etc. The daily sections below are also well done and organized. All together it is a clean, straightforward, easy to use and understand weather app without all the clutter and garbage so many of them have.

Can’t believe this exists. I don’t know where to begin... this gives you so much data, more data than you would ever DREAM! Full weather reports, the RADAR, and the radar OPTIONS, the fact this gives reports on the PAST... every week since installing it I would discover another mind-blowing tool. I am amazed and humbled every time I open it up. I’ve implored my friends and family to get this wonderful FREE app, but their eyes glaze over with disinterest.. so fine. Whoever else delights in the data wonders of the app - it’s our weather Narnia, and we must cherish it while it’s free.

Weather Mate is a Fantastic App. Need quick info about the weather, this app is a great tool. First off, there is advertising but it’s not a big deal. People get too uptight over a little advertisement. If you don’t want to see it, help these nice people out by paying for their work. The best things are the quick access to radar maps, and local forecasts. Try it out... I think you’ll agree it’s a worthy tool.

WeatherMate App. I have a great thirst for weather, current and forecast. As a weather layman, my knowledge of meteorological processes is limited, so I depend upon a weather app that is easy to see and understand weather conditions. Over the years I have tried several apps. WeatherMate surpasses all! This app is powerful, easy to use, and rich with information! Current conditions are easily seen and the various data can be adjusted to the user’s taste. There is no better ap for weather than WeatherMate!

Finally!. Like so many others, ever since we all lost the original Storm app, I feel like I’ve blown through every weather app out there trying to find anything close. It’s been a bunch of wasted time and money—delayed warnings, inaccuracies, crashes, being inundated with ads and cat videos, and unreadable blob radar. What is the point of radar with no storm tracks?? One even sent a tornado warning alert but hid the details behind a pay wall. Tonight, after the 3 weather apps on my phone (that’s right, gotta run 3) blew another tornado warning, I went looking again and found this!! Not only did this app see the tornado, but it saw other funnel clouds. This app is loaded with info I actually need. Actual storm tracks with times and content. It’s well organized and has good contrast—my tired old eyes can see it all! It’s like the original Storm, but I think it’s even better. I dumped all the other apps. This is everything I need all in one place. Thank you!!

Tons of data, highly configurable. I'm running the free version so far, which lets me set only two locations, but I like how thorough the info is for daily forecast--and that you can tap to a more summarized display. Still haven't found exactly the settings I want for the radar, b/c many choices. Things I wish were better: The app feels slow to launch (so much data), also I can't find a discussion of the forecast like you get from some NOAA sources, only super-brief summary. Still, a keeper.

Has everything, finally the one weather app for me!. I have searched through dozens of apps for weather and have finally found one that has ALL the features I have been looking for. I can set location manually, has “feels like” temp, total forecast including snowfall accumulation amounts, radar map with past and future, weather almanac, and much much more. If this app doesn’t have what you are looking for, then it does NOT exist. Finally a great weather app!!!

Add that kill the UX. I downloaded this free app based on the stellar reviews. Yes it has lots of bells and whistle‘s which looks great but the free version is broken. I open it up and it tries to display an ad right off the bat... fullscreen and then freezes. The only way to get rid of it is to close the app. And then try again and sometimes you get lucky and actually get into the app. They have focused so much on delivering advertising that it obstructs access to the weather part of the app and have broken the user experience (UX.) I understand the need to provide advertising for free apps to survive but not at the expense of obstructing access to the app 50%+ of the time.

Weather at a glance. There are a lot of good weather apps out there; but this one is my go to wx app. It has all the info I want in a handy all in one display. Other apps have you scrolling around to get the info you want, but here it’s all in a concise view which is easily expandable if you need more detail: it saves time giving you what you need at a glance yet more detailed info is available. It’s great! Once you try it you won’t be happy with any other weather app!

Best weather app!. Really the best weather app I’ve found, used m a n y of them trust me! Lots of information at your finger tips and the best part is the map loads instantly and the interactive map repeat is lengthy giving you enough info on the weather pattern! The location service allows you to choose a local weather station rather than finding one for you. Can’t say enough, just download and you won’t be sorry 👍

Best widgets. This app has a lot of information and the best widgets, frankly I wish they had a a better layout and updated design more like the actual apple weather app or carrot weather app, but none of those has better little square widgets for iPhone than this app, and that’s all I use this app for by now until they redesign the layout once you open the app. If they ever manage to do that, I’m pretty sure this will be the only weather app I’ll use. They also have the best Apple Watch complications configuration so you can make them look with the info you desire, this app is so close to being perfect, hoping they redesign their in app looks and layouts🤞🏻

Best weather app for Apple Watch. I will admit, I don’t use this app much on my phone, the stock apple one is comfortable for me, but the one apple built for the Apple Watch genuinely disgusted me. It was clunky and unintuitive. Looking for alternatives a year ago I stumbled upon this app, and my god, is it’s Apple Watch app SO NICE Not only is it quick, it’s clean, and it has emojis for the weather complication on my watch face. A must have for those who like to glance at the weather on their wrist and want more detail

It is becoming unusable. To be fair I use the free version, with ads under iOS 17.3. I have used the app for a couple of years. I have always like the quick look at the forecast it gives using model data. I had become used to the ads, and weigh the time it takes to get past ads to the usability. Beginning recently (not sure exactly), the ad will not go away. The “X” in the corner now will not respond, will allow access to the app. It’s become useless. I give it 3 stars for current issues + past performance. I’d give the app a 1 star for current performance.

Replacing Storm Radar after IBM and TWC ruined it!!!. I am using the free version of this app for now and it seems to have a good share of the features that Intellicast and WU Storm used to have. Getting used to the daily and hourly forecast format. Would love to see a single site radar option so a fast moving storm can be tracked in real time instead of waiting for the HD radar to process. Ads are tolerable when they only take a small portion of the screen, but the full page ones are a bit overboard.

Finally!!!. When I saw the review about how this is like the old storm app that we all loved, that was deleted, I had to download it. I’m so glad I did. I’m a weather nut and have several apps but now that I found this, I have no need for some of the others. I have sent this to others who say they love it as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this app and best of all, keeping the info we need and deserve to stay safe, free!!! I gave 5 stars off the bat. Please don’t change a thing.

Made the switch from Weather Underground. Had to find a new weather app after WU redesigned their app...and made it awful. So far Weather Mate is proving an easy to use app that gives me hi/lo temps for the day at a glance. One click gives hourly details & scrolling down gives the daily weather for the rest of the week. Weather forecasts have been very precise & accurate. If you want weather alerts and/or radar you can configure things how you like them.

Nice App, But.... Initially I rated this app with 4 Stars for being pretty accurate weather report and forecast; however, there is always a superimposed ad plus others. However, over time I noticed that the forecast information sometimes are not updated/delayed by a day or so and that happens usually around the weekends or holidays, so my rating dropped to a 3-Stars; now a 2-Stars for not only still getting the above delays etc and once in a while the reported weather information gets screwed up, looked to be mixed with other cities... If the the purpose of the app is not accurate and up to date then I can see this app being an average performer. Continue with more issue and yet no improvement, then I will give this app an 1-Star then just delete the app!

Great app! Does what it advertises. It is very user friendly. I love the various maps you can use including radar, satellite etc. I appreciate the option to add other cities. I also love the accuracy of the weather forecasts. I personally wanted to use this app for its maps and the info provided through the forecasts. They only thing that is missing is an option to view the temp without having to open the app. Often I am checking the weather as I am rushing out of the house to work. It would be convenient to have the temp outside of the app, so I would not have to open the app and go through a commercial to get to the weather. Of course like every other free app out there you will be forced to watch a commercial, but it is something I tolerate. 😒 Otherwise I really like the app.

Excellent Weather App. Your Weather predictions & format is handsome as well as beautiful. Predictions are not accurate but according to tracking in one area & moving to another area is as accurate as one can be. A sky can be clear & out of no where a formation can occur. Weather is still a mysterious force that’s not understood & created by a higher knowledge than what we possess. We came into existence by the Creator who created the weather, a wonder to be part of is exhilarating to me!!!

First weather app I just might pay for!. I’ve had this app for a couple of weeks now. Replaced ‘storm’ that has been sold so many times I get tired of the changes. At a glance, I can see the most pertinent and current information. With the swipe of a finger I can see the rest. Very user-friendly and easy to read. I love the ease of this program and all the information it provides without having to search for it. So far it works seamlessly with my phone and Apple Watch. Accuracy seems spot on. Ads are a pain as always - but I like this app so much I’m considering actually buying it. I would love to have a temperature alert - that I can control (so I know when to cover plants or blanket horses). I live in Florida we have very erratic weather! The only thing missing is the push notifications if bad weather is coming but I haven’t double checked my settings...

AT LAST. I have downloaded and deleted more than 30 weather apps, hoping to find one that is accurate. Most of them use airport temps, which in San Francisco can be more than 20 degrees off. This one has locations all over the city, and I couldn’t be more pleased. It’s also very nicely designed, thorough, and a pleasure to use. This app that has everything you could want and is accurate as well. Finally!

Weathermate Free Version day of App. This is a free app but so basic & not capable of changing weather stations & only allowing 2 locations to view weather w/o upgrading to the paid app.!Can I not view 1 location so it texnically only allows me to see 1 location. Not good! I’ve never paid for an app & never will. Not enough free options which Ive found with other free app's & are more accurate. I’ll stick with my other app. If the developer (s) ever decide to revamp this app for free & allots more features, I may use it in the future.

Wow just perfect. Took me about 2 min to know I was buying the pro version. This app is the app you need for a perfectly customisable complication on the Apple Watch. Comme to think of it, it would be nice if I could buy this app a second time, so I could have 2 of those complication.

Sucks on Apple Watch. The pictures shown for the Apple Watch are false. They are not from Weather Mate. The reason is that Apple Watch complications do not work as advertised. If you choose the Infograph there are 4 corners to choose what you want to display but the app will set all 4 the same. You cannot choose a different item in each slot as all 4 separate slots cannot be chosen as you do not that option. Modular face has the same issue as well as all other faces. I did email support and they stated that they are aware and will update/fix it. That was 2 years ago. This is false advertising as the app does not have the features as displayed here on the App Store. If I choose the Infograph all 4 corners will show same information. I can’t choose, Temp, wind speed, current conditions and date(1 item for each slot) as the app treats all slots as one so you if you choose temp then all 4 slots will show temp. Do not buy this app for the Apple Watch. Why would you want to see the same information on the slots when they were designed to show different items.

Free version is useless. The free version does nothing, so you can't get any idea at all about how the pro version might function. I'm looking for severe weather alerts, but there's no way to tell with the free version whether this app will even have that feature for my area. I am not paying $3 to upgrade just to find out whether it does or doesn't.

I love the radar. Being able to see the weather and how it’s moving let me know when I need to head for cover or if I can stay out and the storm will miss. The radar distance rings are a great touch.

Annoying. There are a tonne of free weather apps that don’t bombard you with ads EVERYTIME you open them. Limit features, don’t bombard us. Especially with ones that have sound. The app embarrassed me in a quiet cafe, so it’s going bye bye. I’ll find another that doesn’t seem desperate for purchasers.

Has been working fine. It is reasonably precise and does not use all of my battery.

great app - but "pro" for $7?. I really like this app. However I'd suggest that the developer missed the mark with a conversion price to the pro version set at $7. Free weather apps abound. Weather mate developers - set your pro price at $2.99 and you'll return much more overall.

Best by far!. Only weather app with fronts! This is the one I recommend and use every day - make that many times every day! Keep up the great work! After the Weather Channel purchased and then destroyed the Storm app (I won’t forgive them for that)I was lost looking for a good weather app. A friend recommended Weather Mate and my day once again starts out right!

Part of the morning ritual. Look at it every morning and it accurately predicts the day’s weather. Getting oriented to where to look for things takes a couple of tries, but is not difficult. It is a very nice part of my routine now.

Ads a Deal Breaker. I put up with the ads at first, but the number and deceptiveness of them was enough in and of itself to delete it. I especially didn’t like the ad that came up like a notice and said my iPhone memory was full. Then it had a button to push called “clean memory.” I caught the ploy. I checked and my memory was nowhere near full. The forecast also is mediocre at best, as my husband’s app can say sunny skies and this one will call for rain. Well, the sun won. So I said goodbye to this app. I do not recommend.

I love it!. This is a super great weather app! The weather forecast goes ahead two weeks, and I can see the hourly forecast for each of those days. It is also really accurate. I highly recommend this weather app if you’re looking for a convenient, free, easy-to-use, and accurate weather app

Too many ads. It’s a good weather app but I hardly use it because I have equivalent or better weather apps that have far less infuriating ads. In this app, you have to wait for a 5 second full screen ad to provide an x button just when you start the app. Then there’s another one you have to wait for another 5 seconds for between tapping on the Map icon and seeing any maps. This intrusive advertising didn’t start until I posted my first review for this app which gave it 5 stars, which I now withdraw.

Get This App!!!. This is a fantastic app! It has all sorts of information in an easy to use and navigate app. You don’t have to hunt and click to try to get the info you want for now, and especially important, for the future. As far as I am concerned it is well worth the cost.

Decent app little cumbersome. No way to play radar past/future at the same continuous stream. You have to switch back and forth between past and future. Should just play in one setting. No air quality or pollen readings. Have to click on buttons to open details about daily forecast. Wish it would just have option to auto expand everything so I don’t have to click on a bunch of stuff

Great, detailed app!. If you're looking for an app that shows good data points regarding thunderstorms/mesocyclones (CAPE, wind shear, etc.) this is a good one. Also has options to show weather fronts which I enjoyed. There isn't an option for velocity index and the advertisements can be annoying but it's worth it for a free app with this amount of detail and options.

Finally!. Thanks, guys. Storm was destroyed, so I was searching through weather app after weather app for months that would give me functions I wanted. Here you are - radar with fronts and usable storm tracks, individual weather stations like Weather Underground but better laid out, OMG actual historical data, and so much more. This is just about the perfect app. Kudos, kudos, kudos!

Ok but still getting ads. I recently downloaded this app as the Weather Underground / Weather Channel Storm app became a failure after its update a while back. This app looked promising based on the radar and map features. The daily forecast menu could look better. Based on the radar alone I paid the $1.99 to not receive ads. That worked the first time I reopened the app but since then I have been getting ads. For that I give it two stars but could change it to three if they get rid of the ads for people who pay.

Too many full page ads.... Love the app, the information and all of the customizable features. I was even okay with the ads at the bottom of the screen. But the full page ads that don’t give you an option to close we’re the last straw. App would be 5 stars without those. Tempted to only give it one star. But felt the app itself minus the ads was great. So I tried to be fair and went half way with 3 stars.

Don’t look any further, this is it.. Best free weather App. I tried many other Apps including paid Apps which weren’t as good as this one. This Application gives you hour by hour for many day. It is presented in a manner so easy to read without having the feeling to be lost in a quagmire of avalanche.

Weather Mate app. The app itself is pretty good...with nice layout and information. However, there have been recent issues with the radar and watches/warnings on the map. Some don't show up at all, and some are actually over a year old (Hurricane Warning for Hurricane Harvey...no kidding). If these issues can be fixed, it will be a good weather app to have.

Newbie. Being retired living on a fixed income I evaluated a bunch of weather apps. For the price weather mate is a five star rating by me for graphics, design, options are unique with an almanac and other unique features. I live in the tornado zone of the Midwest and weather is an important aspect of our life. This app is refreshing and informative. Thank you for providing this service.

Best weather app I’ve seen. When I lost Intellicast due to a merger with another weather service, I looked everywhere for a site that could track hail and other hazards. Then I found Weather Mate! It’s the most awesome weather app I’ve ever seen and I’ve been telling and showing everyone how easy it is to track severe storms so that they can take precautions, hours in advance! Love it!!

New Go To App. For years WU Storm app was easily the best weather app out there. TWC bought it and totally ruined it. This is now my go to weather app. Only thing I don’t like is the full page pop-up ads. I’ll review it for awhile and probably pay to remove the ads. Please don’t sell this app to TWC. They will just replace it with crap to make their own app look better. Keep up the good work.

best wx app. hands down, the best $4.99 i ever spent:the upgrade version has EVERYTHING you need. most apps just delete the advertisements, i think it’s tied into the gov’n, it’s got so many wx layers to choose from. i’m trying to get a tan, so i choose : radar& satellite overlay, now i know whether cirrus clouds are gonna block the harmful UV rays :)

Love the App. The app has all the weather indicators one would look for to plan their daily or weekly schedules. It includes the small details missing from most other apps. Because it’s free I understand the ad popup on startup, but it only happens on startup, the rest of the session is popup free. Thank you for a great app.

Brilliant display & customer service. The displays are beautiful and give quick access to loads of information. The best part of this app, though, is the prompt, thorough customer support. It’s so refreshing to get responses that explain the problems and what’s being done. It really shows the dedication these guys have to getting this app done right.

Pretty good. This app has a lot of information available. A lot. Sometimes the temperature is off a little, but generally accurate. I like that you can go out for days and see the hourly forecast. Loading of the radar is s l o w. But I'm working on patience also. Only having 3 cities available to look at is inconvenient, bit again, patience is improving. For a free app it's pretty informative.

Finally found a Storm replacement. This app has everything Storm did and more. I’ve been trying this free version side by side with a few other apps for comparison. This is more accurate on average. I’ve decided to upgrade to pro - worth it. I’ll put a more detailed review there once I play with all the features this app has once unlocked via going pro.

Holy excessively long ads. This was a good app, but now has waaaay too many ads. Hope you don’t need weather reports while driving, because this will load excessively long ads, making this app dangerous for some that need quick weather info while driving. Do yourself a favor and get a free weather app that allows you to view current weather conditions for free, without having to watch 30+ seconds of ads first.

Background Motion Dizziness. I like the app, BUT- please make the background motion stop! Reading information with a moving background give me motion sickness. In my opinion, there isn’t a good reason for the background to move. I am considering buying the Pro app for use in for our snow business, but only if the background does NOT move!

Best Free Weather App Out There. This app has replaced my previous favorite weather app, Weather Underground. Ever since TWC bought Weather Underground, they’ve removed features from their apps. Weather Mate is a better app than Weather Underground used to be. I’ve gone so far as to remove the Storm app from my phone. Weather Mate combines features of both the Weather Underground and Storm radar apps into a dingle full featured app. Weather Mate gives you 15 day detailed forecast, full featured radar with tools, ability to review historical and almanac data and a host of other useful weather related tools. Weather Mate is now my go to single weather app for all my weather forecasting needs!

The Best. Think of all the weather apps you purchased, now think of the 1 or 2 things you liked about each one but eventually deleted the app. Weather Mate has nothing but those things you loved. No more wasting money, all those must have’s in one place.

Property maintenance. Since my other app was taken over and changed I found this gem. The best out there right now. It has everything for the weather watcher. Best part is the surface fronts. Without them predicting on your own is impossible. I would love to see a jet stream feature.

Great App but Hard On Battery. I love your app but wish that it didn’t run in the background as it is draining the battery on my phone. I have to delete because of this issue. I really am impressed with the accuracy of your app but I cannot find any way to turn off the background activity. Thank you.

Weather mate. This is one of the best most accurate weather app’s I have found. The layer colors for transparency are well thought out easy to manipulate, I like being able to change both overlay opacity and animation speed. Technical support is fabulous! Big thank you to Wendy Harrison.

Weather Station gone amok!!. I love this app, but the last 2 days it has the wrong temperatures. One day it said it was 96, when in fact it was 84. The next day it read at 106! It was 88. I live in Leominster Mass, and it has never gone up to 106. It won’t let me change weather stations because it says it’s the best for my location. Please check into this, I want to keep this app. It’s always been reliable to me until now.

Great weather app. I’ve used about a half dozen weather apps, not including the ones I tried and immediately discarded. I am very impressed with this app. It provides ALL the current weather data at a glance and smoothly provides hourly and extended weather information. This is the best app I have found for detailed weather info.

Number One Overall. I have 30 wx apps on my iPhone. Each one has specific data elements or formatting that works best for me at specific times. But first thing, for me, every morning it’s a cup of coffee and a look at Weather Mate. The one element I would like to see added to Weather Mate is “First light/Last light”. But, regardless, Weather Mate remains my Number One Overall.

Life saver. This app gave me consistent and updated information during a very bad storm showing current tornadoes hail and where the worst parts were. We were able to avoid a tornado that went theough my property by being able to monitor the tornado its a trajectory. Thank you for making this free app.

Not Sure About This Yet. I do not like the gigantic ad, but would pay for the upgrade if this did not FORCE me to keep Location Services on. I turned it on to set my location (and back off again) and add it to the list and now it crashes when I open it. This does not happen with my other weather apps. I do like the layout and interface and I like to AVOID the privacy intrusive Weather Channel stations if possible. So still evaluating this.

Good clean app!. I have been searching and trying out basic free weather apps for awhile now. Just found the Weather Mate app and I love it! Gives me all the info I need right up front along with the next 10 days so I can plan my activities and errands. Would recommend to anyone!

Weather Mate is Great!. I have used Storm as my go-to free app for a while but since they took away storm tracks and weather alert map depictions I needed to find a new free app that offered those features along with past and future radar maps, ling term forecasts, and a host of other really cool features. Looking forward to using this as my nee go-to app.

Great weather app. I’m a hunter and look at the 3 local weather apps I’ve got almost every day. They keep predicting warm weather and rain like that freak’n tropical weather we had all summer and throughout September. Seriously the Best ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. This is the best, most customizable weather app I've ever had. I wanted a simple weather app that showed the temp & dew point. This app not only has it, but also dew point predictions by the hour and for several days ahead. You can customize the order of information displayed or choose not to have it at all. If you don't care about pressure, for example, you can omit it all together. So glad I found this app. And it's FREE, with a quick ad at startup - not even every time. Thank you devs! One of the best apps for weather. Reliable weather data, and very nice interface. Only features I’m missing is storm total accumulation graphed by certain times - used to be very good feature to estimate amount of snow on the roads and when it is ok to drive and when it is not.

Everything there is to know about your location. One of the most complete weather apps that I have found, today ,tomorrow , rest of the week and it mirrors details from local weather sources. Very accurate and easy to plan your day.

Update. The new radar update on iPhone 8 is a lot more user friendly that past updates. I’ve always liked the storm cell/hail/tornado severity ratings on other weather apps. Now weather mate radar has them along with other details providing more accurate weather predictions. If I’m wakened by a storm in the middle of the night, I like to know if it’s of concern or can I roll over and go back to sleep.

Beautiful App & Excellent Product Support. It is really great to find an app that fits the need so completely. I love the maps. Since I live on the Gulf Coast, tracking hurricanes is mandatory and this app has great tracking maps. Weather detail is comprehensive. I especially enjoy the Weather Fronts features. Product Support is very timely in case you have a question. I’d leave it 6 Stars if possible.

Suggestions. Like the app. Would like to see wind gusts fixed in the widget; currently, it’s always blank, but I can see within my selected weather station that there is wind and gust data available- it’s just not pulling through to the widget. Would also prefer more widget customization instead of just 2 fields in small print at the very bottom. A few little improvements along these lines would move this to a 5-Star rating for me.

This is the one. After using many weather apps, this is the one. The layout and extensive information given is easy to read and navigate. Love all the weather related details and the radar that shows hours rather than just 15-20 minute intervals. The best weather app by far.

Great App, needs some improvements.. I really like this app. It provides a lot of data. I’d like to see the radar images be closer to real time. When the radar image updates, it is already showing that it is at least 4 minutes old. There are other apps that are closer to real time, but they don’t offer all of the other data.

Great Weather app.. Works on my old iPad, really like the wind chill displayed, most weather apps leave that and a lot of the other things this offers out. I enjoy seeing a lot of the detail this one has to offer. Not many can compare to this one.

Best weather app Iv ever had. Always spot on. Iv tried a lot of apps but none Ever gave me everything I wanted in weather. Weather updates. I just discovered this ap, but it offers so much detailed information on forecasts going forward about five days. It even offers air quality review, even travel information! You can view the radar everywhere, in your state, the country or global! Highly recommend.

Weather Mate. Laid out in a well organized format. I like the day to day weather summaries in block form. Other weather apps make me jump around to find the weather information that I need. It is really a 5 Star plus weather app in my opinion!!

Best weather app *****. This app has all the features I’ve been wanting. I was able to easily demonstrate to my wife on how to calculate where the wind direction will be coming from. We have a lot of flooding from high wind from the SW. now my wife can look at the map and see when she need to put thing to high ground. GREATEST EVER!!!

Superb. Best weather app by far. I was looking for an extended forecast weather app and thought I would give this one a try. I’m impressed by it’s features and clean look which is intuitively navigational. Everything I wanted and more. I’m a happy camper! I previously only used the “my radar” app and love the radar but it didn’t offer the extended forecast. I’m going to recommend this to my weather junkie friends.
