App is great, PC version has a problem. The S# function works poorly in the PC version: Very long delay before showing the Hebrew or Greek.

Olb review. I have been using the OLB since I owned a 486 PC! I can’t remember how long ago that was but there is no set Scriptural versions, commentators, sound ones!!!) I’ve ever see in one “Package” that comes close to the OLB Program Thomas Buckingham

A limited version of the desktop software. It’s excellent at what it does, but the desktop version has so many more features, which other iOS bibles incorporate (such as highlighting, personal / custom reading lists, etc.). So, I am slightly disappointed with the iOS version of Online Bible.

A Must Download!. The Online Bible App is a "must download" for every Christian. With it, every believer can do studies of God's Word, accessing word study, search and parallel passage Study Tools that will greatly increase your understanding of the Scriptures. The depth of your study will be limited only by the amount of effort you choose to make, but with any level of effort, your time will be well spent and rewarding!

Great great app easy to use. I’ve been using Online Bible almost since it’s inception years and years ago(back in the day when it was on floppy disk, that tells you how long it’s been). It been my main tool for many years preparing my weekly Sunday School lesson. Now I have it on my phone and I can’t say enough about how good Online Bible really is

Long Use. Back well before the internet became ubiquitous, my little local BBS (Bulletin Board System - Bulldog-Eagle Link) took advantage of accessibility between two rival Kansas communities and gave all users access to those in Topeka, the capital city. Online Bible was available to all who would use it. This ended in about 1985. From then “the web” had taken over and OB was still around. Thanks!

20 years+ user. I started using this product when it was on a cd for my Macintosh. I still have it on my MacBook Pro, iPhone, and iPad. For my use it is nearly perfect. The only thing I would like to see is more available add ons in the store. It is easy to learn and very stable. Lastly, become a premium user. It doesn't cost that much and the developers should get paid. You don't work for free and they shouldn't either. I love this app.

Love it!!. It really helps me worship even when I forget my bible and if I need a little pick me up it’s at my fingertips!

My “Go to” Bible study tool.. My “Go to” Bible study tool. I especially enjoy the MAC version. I have been using it since its initial release. Other products are not as powerful and lack the ease of use featured in the OLB, oh they incorporate an ugly PC-style interface.

Growing in God. This is a great App. I get the entire concordance, Hebrew & Greek text references all in one. Love it.

Bible in my phone. First of all, I love Jesus! Secondly, I like to take the bible with me, and now... it’s in my phone. My phone goes wherever I go, so does the bible. Case and point. I highly recommend!

The best Bible study app. I have been using The Online Bible almost since its beginning. Mr. Larry Pearce and his staff have been committed to keep everything updated, adding modules, and devices as technology improved. The Cross Country Store folks have been very easy to deal with as well, not that I have needed to that often, but a couple times I forgot my password and account purchases, and they readily restored those settings. I do have other study apps, but this is my main go-to app when I really need to know something and in a hurry.

Seeker. Bible Online’s offline Function is why I use this app although a way to hide the bottom part of the app would be great enlarging the screen. Alex Arquitt

Great is the free part. If only, if only All the Bible's were free, I'd read them all and dance with glee! But they are not, and the free part is great, I'll rank this a four with five for debate.

My electronic Bible. Used this for years and love the flexibility and the lack of distraction found in pricey Bible apps.

Good but could be better. This app is one of my favorite but it could be better if the search feature were more friendly to multi word word searches. If I type in “word, life” I don’t see a single verse that has the two words in it. This addition would make the app MUCH better! (I have been using Online Bible since 2002.) Thanks for any improvements along these lines.

Good. I've been using Online Bible Program on the PC going back to the DOS days. Got an iPad last summer and put it on the iPad. It's a good, solid program -- never crashes. The only wish is that there were more free modules for it for the iPad like there are for the PC. I would especially like to see BYZ or something similar tied into the Strong's numbers for free. Keep up the good work. God will honor you disseminating His Word.

Simple yet Powerful. Easy to use yet sporting a good mix of important features. The treasury of scripture knowledge is especially helpful. King James Version is The Bible for English-speaking people. Use it everyday to read my Bible!

Free, Powerful, Stable and Indispensable. Similar to many other commenters here, I have been using the Mac desktop version of OLB for many years to write Bible commentaries, to compile topical KJV Bible verse lists, to share verses on my blog, and to include verses in my social network comments. I was so happy to discover an iOS version of OLB some time ago. Now, when I am too tired to work at my computer, I can lay in bed with my iPhone, and still share God’s Word with my online friends. Similar to the desktop version, this app is very stable, and is an indispensable part of my daily work flow. Thank you for all your hard work over the years, beginning with Ken Hamel.

I have been using OLB since Windows 3.x was in use.. I have been using the online bible program for many years to write sermons and bible studies. I still have my first blue spiral bound manual. I am installing it on my wife’s iOS devices. This is a great bible program. I have bought it to gifts to friends and family. I highly recommend it.

God's WORD at our fingertips!!. It's SO handy to have access to God's WORD, wherever I am, via my cell phone! It's A BLESSING to be able to look up verses using the search button if I can't remember the reference... and to have access to the Strong's Concordance for any Word in the Scriptures, for which I want to know the meaning in the original language! And the app is FREE! I'm very grateful to the LORD for having this available for us!

My first electronic Bible. I have enjoyed using the online Bible since receiving it on 3.5” diskettes during the 1990s. I was overjoyed upon finding it for the iPhone. I will always remember the amazement in my Pastor’s eyes during a class as he said, “How did you know that!” “That was the number of times the Hebrew word “almah” appears in the Bible. Just one of the many things the Online Bible has helped me to learn, understand, cite, or some combination of all three.

This is hands down one of the best ways to study. The search and cross reference features are top notch. I have only one request. When the cross reference window is open, the quick slider on the right covers a letter or two of the verse making it difficult to read. A very small complaint for an otherwise incredible app.

My Go To Reference. I have used this program on my laptop for years and was delighted to see the app for my iPad. I use it daily and find it a valuable tool in my study of God's Word. Very easy to navigate. The dictionaries and Strong concordance are a tremendous asset. I use it daily and with this app it travels with me!

Not nearly as capable as the desktop version. For those who have used the desktop version, the app is (comparatively speaking) crippleware. That said, the app is very fast in what it can do, which is to provide a quick concordance list of every occurrence of a given word. And it has Strong’s numbers for original language definitions.

Great app. I have used the OnLine Bible for Mac for about 20 years, which is no longer available. This app brings similar features to both iOS and OSX (and they sync very neatly ). A welcome tool with a very low learning curve, thankfully. Having used some other Bible apps, this has quickly become my first choice.

Online bible. This is my go to a lot and I’m memorizing psalm 119 so I need something on the go with me. Amen love the app

Absolutely fantastic!. I have attended Christian college and gone through seminary to be a pastor, and I can't stress enough how great this app is. I've had Online Bible for quite a while now, comparing it to different Bible study apps and trying to see which one is the best. Online Bible is by far the best free app - and honestly, the first one I go to every time I want to study. I only check the other ones to see how they might enhance this app - because they definitely can't replace it! I don't read from this app for my daily reading because the version (AV) is hard to read/understand sometimes. But what sets this app at the top for me is for the original language word study. It breaks down the Hebrew and Greek words, clarifies parsing, and gives full definitions and understandings - and you can search original words throughout the whole Bible!!! Easily 5 stars. Get this app - you won't be disappointed!

Amazing Study Tool. In one place, I have a whole library of tools. This powerful app allows quick cross-reference, study of themes, a dictionary in Hebrew and Greek, free commentary material, etc. Once discovered, I downloaded it to every device I have. It is worth the time it takes to learn to use this tool. It’s also possible to become a Premium Member for a monthly donation.

Great Bible App. I use this bible app all the time, especially when looking for a specific verse. It’s much easier to use than pulling out a strong’s concordance. There are a few things I wish were different: 1. I wish you could swipe left and right and it would go to the previous or next chapter. 2. I wish when you go back to the index that you would still be in whatever chapter you were in and you could click back to chapters and back to books, or have a refresh button to get to the main index page of the books. 3. I wish the search was a little less literal. For example, if I was looking for Proverbs 3:6 and I typed “In all thy ways acknowledge Him,” I will get no search results if it literally said “In all of thy ways acknowledge Him,”

Great Program. I have used this program for years and greatly appreciate how quick, easy and effective it is to use. The design is very clean and simple. I highly recommend it over other programs that are available.

The online Bible. I have used this Bible software for about 10 years. It is invaluable for personal Bible study, preparation to preach at church, Folsom Prison and on my weekly Sunday radio show. I have tried other Bible software but I am dissatisfied with most because they are too cumbersome and expensive. I am happy with my Online Bible!

I wish it was more like the PC version!. Online Bible is absolutely my “weapon”of choice on my laptop, but I am not much of a fan of the IOS version for my iPad, and as a result, seldom use it, but I sure wish.... 😢

Almost.... The app, since being updated, crashes or freezes, which is very annoying. This app is useless like this. I would have put this complaint on your website, but it was confusing and awkward.

Deepen your understanding. This is a concordance on your phone pretty much. It’s a great tool to have open while you devotion in your paper bible. During your bible devotion time, words will come along that you need a deeper understanding of to understand the text better. You can see the Hebrew or Greek meaning of those words with the click of a screen. By looking into these words, that have always been too easy just to gloss over, you will get a fuller picture of the meaning of key scriptures and grow your understanding big time! Highly recommend this app to help you deepen your daily walk with the Lord.

Il y a un mot en Hébreux qui exprime cette interconnections qui se dit comme ceci. LE KOLAJA (Qui exprime la voix de l’éternel) pour comprendre que c’est au travers du silence et de la prière que l’ont reconnaît la voix de Dieu?

Good but PC ver. dwarfs it. I've enjoyed the PC version for a couple of decades now and was glad to see the APP arrive. I'm glad it shares it's super fast search engine (appears you must be exact, unlike google) but does't support as many commentaries or study aids but recall reading somewhere that one may somehow import some of those PC modules into the app. Appreciate the work of love, thanks.

Wonderful Resources. This bible program is not just a program or an app. It is a wealth of resources at your finger tips (or finger taps). There are many very useful bibles translations, commentaries and informational books available. One could never get bored reading what is offered. While I do not use a daily bible reading plan it is a very necessary resource for those who need this type of help. When I study I primarily read Dr. Kenneth Wuest's Expanded Translation but in the side bar I will flip between the NIV, KJV, ESV and the NLT. I also avail of the Vine's Expository Dictionary. I do make use another bible program only because of the Strong's availability. Are you looking for a great bible reading or bible study program? You will not go wrong by down loading this app.

Very good start. The Online Bible has probably the fastest search engine of any Bible program I've used in the past twenty years - and I've used many! It's great to finally see an iOS version of it. The base package offered is a very good start to what promises to be an excellent iOS App. I'm eagerly looking forward to future upgrades, especially Notes that'll sync across platforms. Word Studies. I used to do a lot of word studies with a Strong's Concordance until my eyesight went bad. With this app I am now able to look up the meaning of ancient words. It does not have an exhaustive concordance but it has restored something I thought was lost to me forever. It is also easy to use.

Online Bible IOS. I used Windows Online Bible for many years. IOS version is very good, it is well though out with many features that are very useful. I highly recommend it for serious bible study. Jerry

Excellent KJV app. Probably the simplest way to study the original words in the text by use of Strong's numbering. The theme index is also very helpful and easy to use. This program will not take the place of all other Bible programs for me. For example, it has only a limited number of translations, but it has found an important place in my regular study of God's Word.

Online Bible. Great app just wish I could get the extras like in the computer version.

Simply the best!. I use the Online Bible program on my computer at home and at the office. The OLB does not have all of the fancy frills that many of the Bible programs have, but it has everything that you need in order to study and read. It is my opinion that this Bible program is the best one on the market!

Started to crash. I really like this app, but it's been crashing a lot for some reason. It usually happens when I try and go to another book and verse of the Bible. Please fix this; it's a great app.

I love to be able to look at the origin of the word, in Hebrew, and Greek.. I appreciate the ability to search for Bible verses by entering words that I remember in the text.

Great Bible app!. I can easily look up meanings and tenses of original words. It's more convenient than using the program on my computer, as I can keep it right beside me as I read my Bible. It took me a while to figure out how to find cross-references. Just tap the verse number and it will bring up the list!

Great App. I have used Online Bible on my desktop since the 90's. I was so thrilled to find the App for it. While it doesn't do everything the desktop version does it is still an awesome tool.

I'm very happy to find an old friend. I just installed the app on my iPhone and without even browsing through, I know that I will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the earlier versions. Thank you.

Free version very useful. I like my OLB desktop very much and the app for the iPhone/iPad is quite useful for casual use and reading

Interestingly despite its name, it works offline as well as on! :) It also works great on iPhone, so the Online Bible app is great too! Takes a little bit of time learning how it works, but well worth the time! Best study and bible tool I have!

Only app with CJB translation!. This is my favorite Bible app because it has my favorite translation: CJB - Complete Jewish Bible. I've found it nowhere else.

Does the Job. I use a number of Bible resources. Some $100s even $1000s. OLB on my Mac is still my favorite and I've used it for years! This iPad version is similar; not the most elaborate. But it is still the one I use most of the time. Get it. You'll use it. And it will get the job done!

Great program -- quick, free and offers advantages over other iOS Bible software. This nice iOS version completes the value of the whole online Bible package of software it is the most useful and low-cost program out there. beats logos on speed and also beats it greatly on price, ease of use, etc.

Mr. Justin Scott. The Greek and Hebrew dictionaries are SUPER helpful. Whenever I'm curious about a word in the original languages I can just look it up here as I'm reading. They packed a lot into one app!
