Transparent Pricing per video should be required. I purchased the $35 monthly plan only to find out I could make a few videos and that was it and even that monthly plan was not unlimited. This information should be clearly stated so we know what we are purchasing.

Apple won’t refund the $200. I’ve barely used the app and had canceled before the trial period but Apple still charged me for the most expensive tier. They refused to refund me. So I decided if they’re not going to refund me then I’ll try to make some use of this app, but it says I’m on the basic free tier and when I try to restore purchases, the app freezes on a pinwheel. I’ve reached out to the developers weeks ago but haven’t heard back. If Apple isn’t going to give me the $200 back, at least get back to me to fix this, otherwise can you refund me?

Slow. I payed for premium and still it couldnt load my simple prompt dont get waste of money and time its been four days since i gave it the prompt tried diffrent devices tried a whole new account and payed once again on that one this is super bad do not get it i have never left a review but this got me so heated and made me so mad i payed 30 bucks just to wait for days dont get dont use dont buy

Amazing. It is so realistic and gives you so many free credits. All the other apps only gave you 5-10 credits and the cheep at creation was like 100 credits it is amazing

So much fun. Great app. I make memes as well as product videos and Pika holds strong. Of course it has the quick little things like squish, but the 2.1 model with text or image to video is not a toy. It can create some really quality videos. It covers all you need if you are looking for one app to use.

Needs Unlimited Trial Period. This app is intriguing, but it’s difficult to pay for a subscription when you can test it out enough. First Animation Test (Squish): I was notified that it finished, but then could not find my animation. Second Animation Test (Squish): Animation worked, came out pretty well, but was a bit short. Third Animation Test (Cake): Did not come out that well. Fourth Animation Test (Gladiator): Did not come out well at all. Fifth Animation Test (Cake): Been churning away for 20min and has not finished. Shows as if it’s still working on it. Sixth Animation Test (Melt): Tells me I’m out of credits. First animation that was lost suddenly appears. Can’t test any further. How can I spend money on this when the app never proved to work well? There should be an unlimited trial period so I can see how well the app works. Then maybe I’d pay.

Did a good job. The user interface is clean and simple, making it easy to create professional diagrams in no time.

Technology is there yet. I want my money back. I’d expected from all the great reviews this would be a good app to implement into my work. But upon use, I was disappointed. The technology just isn’t there yet. From basic prompts to extremely detailed ones… nothing looks “real”. Distortion of human faces and body parts. No natural movement or flow. For commercial/business use it’s a waste. For fun and goofy personal social accounts sure this can be suitable. I’ve had the app for an hour and playing around with it a lot, I already cancelled my subscription renewal. Wish there was a 24hr trial or something before I put money towards something I cannot even use for business. This AI still needs a lot of work and time to become valuable.

For Teenies. In the mad dash of AI evolution, I went hunting for an app to help me whip up some slick videos for my online shop. Naturally, I chose the one shouting loudest—PICA. Cute name. Flashy features. Loads of personality. Totally useless for business. Sure, I could have read the FAQ (if one even exists?)—but who’s got time to deep-dive a help center when the world’s on 2x speed? So, what did my 28 euros buy me? One AI-generated guy shrugging like, “Don’t ask me, I just work here.” If doomscrolling had a poster child, this app would be it. Five stars for vibes. Zero stars for value.

Ok generation but you can’t cancel subscription. I subscribed to Pica through their website, and canceling the subscription is nearly impossible. The site claims you can cancel anytime, but after following all the steps, I found no actual cancel option—just the ability to downgrade. I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out with no success. Ironically, if you subscribe through Apple, it’s more expensive but at least cancellation is straightforward. The downside with the Apple route is that if you run out of credits mid-month, you have to wait until the next billing cycle—there’s no option to top up. So Pica encourages web-based subscriptions for flexibility, but then locks you into a system where you can’t cancel or remove your payment method. Honestly, it feels like a trap—and very close to a ripoff.

Pay or wait. If you don’t buy the subscription good luck getting your video. It will take 3+ hours just to do a 5 second video. When other ai generation apps take a fraction of the time to make something. This app feels like it purposely takes a long time to generate something to make you want to pay so it speeds up the process which is a total waste of potential.

20 percent of the time it works all the time.. I subscribed to give it a shot because it seemed super interesting. Unfortunately only about 2 of 10 videos I try to generate work. That would be fine and all, except they still take the credits for videos which did not work. In addition, for what it is (watermarked low quality videos) the fee is extremely high.

Utterly awesome.. This app stands out because it is exceptionally cool and unique. Everybody is in the AI game now but Pika is making serious creative magic happen right on your mobile device. This is all the REAL Pika app- not to be confused with the various imitation attempts

One Star. This app is exhausting.. I really had high hopes for Pika, but honestly, it’s been one headache after another. The AI constantly ignores clear, detailed prompts, adds weird glitches, warps faces, floats objects, and distorts body parts like we’re in a sci-fi movie. I’ve spent hours trying to get simple edits right—just to have people pop out of the ground, melt into fences, or animate like Sims on crack. The results look nothing like what’s requested, even with clean, specific directions. Even worse, the AI clearly doesn’t understand how human bodies, movement, or proportions work. It either makes characters stiff and robotic or overly exaggerated like a cartoon. Nothing ever looks natural. And don’t even get me started on how often it changes the background when I specifically say not to. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone trying to get realistic results. The technology isn’t ready, and honestly, it’s a waste of time if you’re trying to create clean, grounded visuals. It needs serious improvement.

Power is now portable. I’ve enjoyed exploring ways to make content and communication more enjoyable for people, my family and more. Now I can rather than talk about it I can just show them. Pull out my phone and then knock the socks off. This latest release is so much fun and the quality is just amazing.

Basic free subscription did not work. Basic free version just kept me in queue and was promoting the paid version to get out of the queue. I could not try it.

Not so great. I’m coming from Kling. I’ve been using that for about a month and I really love the image to video feature; it’s a lot of fun. While YMMV when it comes to getting it to convert your prompts into the videos you imagine, I’m overall happy with the results. I read a blog about Pika and thought I’d give it a try, so without even testing the free version, I went ahead and paid $28 for 1 month. Pika and Kling are similar products. Kling offers the effects feature, but there are only two from what I have seen (squish and balloon). Pika has a much wider variety of effects to choose from. I just tried one of them and it worked out great. When it comes to the Pikascene and image to video features, the prompt is on a single line, so I have to scroll right/left to read it. I’m using a mobile phone obviously and I find this ridiculous and annoying. For image to video there don’t seem to be any options other than to select the mode. In Kling I can at least set the length (5 or 10 seconds) and relevance/creativity. To test I simply used some photos and prompts I’d used in Kling before. Using Turbo the results were terrible. Using 2.1 the results were also no good. The first image I used is of my wife sitting on her friend’s motorcycle. I copy/pasted the prompt I’d previously used in Kling. The video should depict my wife riding away on the bike. The result was that the bike and girl came out very poorly. The background and camera movement did seem more dynamic and exciting compared to Kling, though the camera didn’t follow the bike properly. The Kling version keeps all of the detail in the girl and bike and correctly tracks it as it speeds away. The second image was of myself and a life sized model of the hulk. In Kling I produced a quite well done video of myself fighting the hulk. The details on myself, except for my face and head, are maintained, and the hulk looks amazing. In Pika the details in both characters are lost, and the hulk becomes quite cartoony. The fighting looks mostly ridiculous, with the hulk hardly doing anything other than holding his arm outstretched. In all honesty if I’d known these were the kind of results I’d get I wouldn’t have paid to upgrade my plan. In any case I cancelled it. I will continue to use up my credits unless the results continue to be so poor that I stop bothering. Well at least there are the effects.

I tried but it didn’t work for me.. Some of my videos are still in queue since days on a pro plan, my credits have been taken away though. Support didn’t respond or credit back. I will cancel my subscription and try another platform as I need a reliable platform and support when I have some jobs to be done.

I’m trying to get in with my email. It was annoying that it would not let me in this can you fix it (it was sent to my mums phone but it didn’t work) and the web is just showing your app on the web

Scam. They want you to pay no matter what. There is no such thing as free creation. I put an request for free creation to try out before making decision in March 2025, today is September 2025 it is still waiting in queue and asking to fasten the creation if I pay.

I’m using up 10+ credits just to get ONE shot that *might* work. That’s not creation — that’s lottery. And when I speak up? Silence. You want creators to push your platform, but you don’t support them when your system fails. No refunds. No acknowledgement. No help. You’re charging us to be your testers. That’s not “Pro”. That’s exploitative. Do better. Or creators like me will leave — and take our stories, ideas, and support with us.

Dissatisfaction. . I wish I hadn’t updated—the previous version (1.8.0) worked much better, and its free version was excellent. But version 1.9.0 doesn’t work at all; I deeply regret updating it. I hope the issue gets fixed. It doesn’t generate any videos from text or images, and the free version has become way more limited compared to before.

They just destroyed it. Content moderation has made this app rated G now. It will crush you. It is now much more strictly censored than Kling Vidu Sora Runway Hailuo and Huynyan. In other words all the bigger players are much better. Stay away they don’t know what they’re doing. If your character even has a little bit of cleavage showing “graceful dance” as a prompt will return an error. RIP Pika

RIPOFF! YOU THIEVES, PIKA rush to drive more sign ups Screws Paying Customer!. I bought a month at a hundred dollars, The hundred dollars got me no watermark. With month over I went to basic. Half of my work (not yet downloaded) 2 weeks of it now has there watermark on the material I paid to have no watermark or, THATS FRAUD. Any one that will listen, will know you filth… Your Avarice out weighs your service.
