Great app. I've been learning Indonesian for the past five months. I downloaded another app and learned a lot then found this one. I love that it has so many words and phrases that I have right there and don't have to go through a whole lesson to review them. It's okay. If you're good with rote learning, or pure memorizing, this works for basics. If you're like me and you learn through engaging, thinking, solving, you're going to hate this app. It needs to be more intuitive, maybe some gamification to engage the users to truly have a learning experience. Good but one suggestion. I’m sure this app will help me learn my moms language, but one thing that could help me and many others is to make a flash card option. To this so if you are confident in a word you can put it aside. Also flash cards help your memory to remember them easier.

Great for a English to Bahasa dictionary. Easy to use, great as a dictionary and with pronunciations! But learning it purely comes from memorization. Not actually teaching you to conjugate or converse really.

Plodding along. I love this app, it's excellent for teaching the user to pronounce properly. It's great too, to get you started in the language, although you do have to be diligent to practice on a daily basis. However, it's limited in that you can only learn the words and phrases provided. Regardless, I do recommend this app to potential users.

My review on 24hours speak Indonesia,. I find this app to be so helpful, each night I sit in my bed with my iPad and go over all of the studies. If I get stuck on a word it’s usually the pronunciation but before you know it I’m say it correctly. In the morning I find myself saying words or numbers and sayings randomly, and I’m starting to feel like I’m understanding how to speak Indonesian. Audio helps perfect pronunciation. Unlike some other language programs, this has a voiceover pronounce each word twice and slowly for easy acquisition, and proper pronunciation. Just an audio recording. This app is basically an audio recording of expressions in English and their equivalents in Indonesian. You can FF for an expression you want, but half of the time is wasted listening to English expressions. IMHO, only suitable for those who believe in learning languages while sleeping.
