Great Tool. I find the ability to track my credit score and be quickly alerted if there is an issue to be gold

Vantage Score?!. Vantage score. Seriously?! You’re referencing a credit score model that 0 lenders use or care about. Why is this not referencing the FICO score model?? Also, I should have the ability to freeze my credit within the app. The Experian app is doing both of these things. Overall, using the vantage score model with no ability to freeze/unfreeze my credit makes the app pretty much useless.

My Equifax Goal. I love my Equifax for the reason that they will help you manage ur score and help you with protecting ur score, I really enjoy going through my app and reviewing my daily activities on this app, Thank you Equifax for being there for me

User friendly. It’s took me all of 2 minutes to handle my business.

Your product is not currently supported by our app. So what's even the purpose of me paying you for anything? This is the error I get when trying to sign in, forcing me to sign in through a browser. Kind of makes both your product and app worthless huh. Extreme oversight to create an app that your entire member base can't use 🤷‍♂️

An essential tool to manage finances. This is one of the most well organized apples I have ever used. Didn’t know it would be this good

Comprehensive Analysis. This application provides a comprehensive score and analysis. I periodically activate the paid feature for all three scores from separate credit bureaus and it provides a full scope report considering all three reports. It is the most accurate and conservative score application I have used.

Disappointed can’t request a refund.. I don’t like the fact that I live in Hawaii and I cancelled my subscription on time but because of the time difference on the 3rd I cancelled but the mainland time was the 4th. they are refusing to give me me a refund. That is ridiculous. I don’t want the service. trial periods mess so many people up because if you don’t cancel on time you can’t request a refund. I will never sign up for another trial period Ever. That should be illegal .

Needs work. I have problems getting to see all 3 of my credit scores and I should not have to pay to see my scores

handy credit monitoring app. This app has been pretty useful for monitoring my credit. There’s a section that tracks your score over time which is cool, and the app is laid out so it’s pretty easy to use. I did have some login issues at first, but once I got in it’s been pretty smooth. My holy grail app would let you freeze or unfreeze your credit from your phone, so maybe the developers should look into that. Not perfect, but definitely convenient if you want to keep an eye on your credit.

How can this app be rated 4.8?. Cannot log in to website via app or webpage. Tried on multiple devices and different browsers. Called customer service and all they can do is tell you it will be escalated, meanwhile, I wait. No call back, no email…..nothing. This company has had login issues for an extended amount of time. This can only mean 1 of 2 things. First - they don’t know how to fix it, Or they refuse to spend the money to fix it.

Easy to follow. With the assistance of Equifax I was able to raise my credit score by 3 digits. I am extremely grateful for the quick reporting of my account payments.

Love the new app!. Thank you for creating the my Equifax app! I downloaded it a few months ago and I finally had a moment to dig into it today and everything is working perfectly for me. I was also very happy to see my good credit score as it makes its way to 850. Thanks to the app, I will check it more frequently.

Excessive data collection. The app throws up a ridiculous blocking alert if, God forbid, you block analytics and trackers on your network gateway. No. You don’t get to collect that additional data on me. And that message is misleading. My network is MORE secure. Not less. Equifax is just petty because their tracking and analytics can’t phone home.

Information is out of date!. Well, I certainly appreciate the free access to my Equifax, being almost 3 weeks out of date is of no use to me. Equifax wants to charge a premium for daily updates. I would buy a premium service if it made all three credit bureau reports available on a daily basis.

Not a full functioning application. I downloaded the application and it has two buttons one to login and another one to register. The only that shows activate is the register button. I already have an account setup but the only button that is activate is the register button so I thought I would give that a try and after filling out the form and submitting it. I got the message that I already have an account and to use the login button, but it still shows as as not being active and clicking on it does not work. The application does not have a support page or contact number. So I am stuck right now. Without being able to sign in makes this application not usable.

No FICO so 4.5 Stars. This app has grown in leaps and bounds! It has gone from virtually useless to a credit monitoring and educational app that never leaves my phone, and because of all of the pertinent information it provides and the improvements made over time, I upgraded to Premier. The one important bit of data I’d like to see added as part of the Premier subscription is the FICO credit card score 8 or 9. Knowing my Vantage 3.0 score doesn’t give a complete picture but having access to both Vantage and FICO would. That said, myEquifax is still an app worth having.

Credit Score. This is the only accurate credit and vantage score of all 3-reporting bureaus. Thank you Equifax for keeping your numbers true to actual scores!

There's work to do. This is a start, but I hope they are still working on the app and havn’t decided that this is a finished product. Upon first opening myEquifax you are sent to your web browser of choice to log in. If you can remember your user name and password then you are directed back to the app...where you can look around at your inquires and random things. But not manage a security freeze. To do that, you need to go back to the web site. I am hoping that they allow you to manage security freezes in the future as well as be able to login directly in the app. And ultimately do it through FaceID or biometrics to be most convenient. Otherwise, just using the website would be easier.

myEquifax. Just downloaded the app, so far so good. I’ve had the internet version for years, and was disappointed with a lot of bugs it appears a lot has been fixed. I’m very pleased now.

Great features and very responsive. This app is very useful to track credit scores. If you want, there are other features as well, like credit monitoring, security freeze etc

Easy-to-use Credit Monitoring with helpful alerts.. The platform is fairly easy to navigate, and I like having access to my credit information in one place. Overall, it has been a useful tool or monitoring my financial progress and staying aware of my credit standing.

Worst credit bureau out there.. Nothing works! The support people are idiots. I can’t even see my address to verify it. When I call support they want me to verify everything name, address, phone number, social security number, DOB, etc. and then they still can’t verify ANYTHING! I’m even logged on as I’m talking to them and they can’t tell me where to find my address on the website. Then he wants to send me my credit report. NOOOOOO, it may go to the wrong address. Good gosh what happened to people.

Nice and Smooth!. Great app! One of the better developed apps on the App Store. It’s easy to use and understand what is affecting my score, both in a positive and negative way. The score chart is a great touch as well. Good job Equifax!!!

A huge upgrade!. I used to rely on the website, but the app takes it to a whole new level. Finally, a smooth and easy way to check my credit! The app is clean, fast, and super easy to use. I love how secure everything feels, and logging in is a breeze.

Quick access to credit score. Was able to sign up and see my credit score quickly, with reasons listed for positive and negative impacts to credit.

Changes for no reason. I wish when my credit score changes you would give a reason !

Bad service. You pay for an app monthly and you pay for a service you set up your settings, but the app doesn’t work if you get no notifications no updates garbage product from a garbage company they care nothing about the consumer only about their bottom line the money they make from selling your information

Readiness for an SBA loan. As our food manufacturing business has progressed to the 3 year mark we are now looking at financing to scale operations. It’s imperative to have a score of 650 or higher to make sure you can meet most institutional cutoffs for the SBA 7(a) loan. While growing the business during the 3 years there were a few times where we had to play one two pick a few with bills all while affording payroll, rent, receivables, etc to make cashflow happen and not go out of business. The NET 30 pay cycles turn into 60 days by the time the money hits your hands. If everyone wants your stuff that’s also a bad thing when you’re not getting paid fast enough by corporations that are much larger than you. Now that we’ve mostly stabilized we are making sure that everything’s polished before hitting the lenders. This is a good way to do it.

Awful all around. I think it’s borderline insane for a credit report company to put ❗️and ⚠️ emojis “regarding your account” when in reality you’re telling us to download this useless app. Reality check I know the billionaire board members don’t have to stress about their money and credit but us regular folks do. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Predatory and useless is a dangerous combo.

Useless App and Credit Company. Even after successfully logging in with the correct credentials, I’m sent to the screen to call the customer service number. Whet through the super slow call service multiple times which forces you to listen to all menu options, when you finally connect to the customer agent he/she always says my account issue has been resolved and to log in again then hangs up the call. I log in again, and still blocked from accessing my account info. I have no account login issues with Experian or Transunion apps or services. Why is Equifax even a recognized credit bureau if they don’t let customers log in to monitor their accounts?

They make it difficult to use their platforms. They create barriers to using their platform if you use a VPN, then it takes 10-mins to get past the virtual assistant on the phone to verify your account, then you speak to a person who is difficult to understand and also has to verify your information; accessing a credit report that is in document form is difficult (if not impossible, I haven’t figured out how to get a document/print out online yet). They don’t even have a help section where you can search for answers - just a few pre-answered drop down options that aren’t even helpful.

Refreshing New App. Love the security added to this App so important and the credit knowledge addition to better your credit score or even set your Goal is a breath of fresh Air.

Safe & Protected. This makes me feel safe enough to know that I won't be paying for a car I'm not driving. It's easy to freeze and unfreeze and I sale this every where that we're speaking about credit. This is the best thing for people.

Difficult. Your site is hard to find information on. It also doesn’t update correctly. My 4 of student loans were paid off in January 2026. They are still showing active with balances in your system. You need to update your accounts more frequently. If other systems can, so can you.

Enough to make ANYONE angry. I can’t use the app or website. I get errors of some sort over and over again. So I thought “ok, I guess I will have to mail my request to remove the freeze on my credit.” I thought “no problem, it will just take a few days longer.” OH, was I ever WRONG about that!!! I sent the papers I was supposed to send, and then got a letter asking for two more things along with a copy of their letter I just received. I sent what was requested and have now received another letter asking me to send the same items I sent the first time!!! I am being sent around and around in a circle and I feel like my credit information is being held hostage. I tried calling Equifax on the phone and couldn’t reach a human. I wish I could remember how I reached a human when I had my credit frozen. I have now waited over TWO MONTHS to apply for a credit card I want. That used to be such a simple thing to do since I have great credit. I thought I was doing something precautionary and wise when I froze my credit last year, but if I EVER get Equifax to REMOVE my security freeze and let me access and control MY credit information, I never want it frozen again and I guess I will just always hope for the best. The other credit bureaus will let me freeze and unfreeze online, but what I am going through with Equifax is ridiculous. If I could get on their website or app, I would unfreeze my credit myself because I certainly have no confidence in their customer support. As of now, I have no idea what I am going to do, and don’t know whether to scream or cry. I would try to email or reach out to Equifax in some other way, but there doesn’t seem to be a way for me to do that either. I am a senior citizen and have some health problems, and I really don’t need this aggravation too, and right now I am really upset because this has gone beyond ridiculous.

My future credit. Helps me stay on target to achieve the goals of my credit score

Do you like paying for your own data?. Oh look! Another company trying to sell your data back to you. Sure, you can get your “VantageScore” (not your FICO score like all lending institutions care about) but that’s about it. All other functionality is designed to simply sell you more products and services to enable access your own information. This philosophy is so rooted and engrained in Equifax that in order to get your “free” credit score you have to enroll in their recurring “free” membership. Equifax didn’t even have a technical method to provide you your own information without you enrolling into one of their products as that is what their entire platform and business model is designed upon. Please don’t waste your time replying to this with one of your AI generated responses. If they do and you’re reading this review, do you really need to know anything else?

Worthless App at this point. My primary reason to install this App was to have easy access to Freeze and Unfreeze my credit report. When I called support, they say the App is new and the only functionality is to Un-freeze your report. To freeze your report you still have to go to the Equifax website. The unfreeze control is buried in the App and difficult to find. My fear is if I freeze it now via the website and don’t need to unfreeze in the near future, I’ll have a really hard time finding the unfreeze control site a year or more from now. This is VERY frustrating!

zeinab Bazzi. I love Equifax. I love them. They’re working with me so well the people that I just talked to an hour ago he was so sweet and kind and generous and he did my service so excellent. I gave him 150 million stars. It was so easy and if I had my own business, I would hire him as a manager. That’s how much this nice sweet guy that I talk to. He was just kind courteous and considerate of my needs and he took care of everything and I really do appreciate it. I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m a victim of fraud and identity theft and they really took care of my needs and they’re still taking care of them to this day. Just keep up the good work thank 1 million stars specially for the one. I just got off the phone with thank you.

Unable to complete tasks…. Ok app, but not as functional as the other bureaus. They’re completely focused on selling their services. For example, the simple task of freezing or unfreezing your credit file must be done via their web site, really. I can accomplish this via the apps from the other bureaus. Equifax has always been behind technically. Recall the massive data breach a few years ago…

System doesn’t work. I am trying to unlock my credit. When you call in you can’t get a live agent they send you to this and it doesn’t have the option for unlocking. Sent me to lock and alert to sign up. It then tells me to call in. Can’t get a live person and keep looping through the same thing and then get disconnected with no live agent to talk to! Very frustrating!!!

It’s ok. The app itself seems great. At first. The interface is easy to work with, but it is completely pointless. I tried to do several things with the app, and it keeps telling me to go directly to the website. What is the point of the app if I have to go to the website. Personally, I prefer to go to the website, but I thought the app would make it easier. Thanks again.

Can’t autofill and doesn't remember signin. **Reviewed again June of 2026** Autofill still doesn’t work. Developer says it works but doesn’t. Every other app I use accepts autofill. Very inconvenient. Better to just use the website. -Original Review- Functions fine once logged in, but uses a web login that doesn't allow password autofill. AND you have to log in every time you open the app. I appreciate security, but I should have the option to trust my own phone and not have to remember or copy and past my password every time I open the app. And don't talk to me about biometrics like your canned response to everyone else. If I unlock my phone using my configured method, then my phone is SECURE. Biometrics alone are less secure as someone can simply hold your phone in front of your face against your will. Implement password autofill like other apps and stop making excuses. Allow the app to remember and auto login like other apps or just prompt for PIN/FaceID.

Equifax is HORRIBLE. And so is this app.. Equifax has a known login issue that brings up an error message anytime you try to log in prompting you to call them instead of use their website. This app literally just redirects to the website so you still will not be able to log in to your Equifax account. Like how is this even a real company? Unbelievably horrible. I just want to unfreeze my credit without talking to a stupid oversees call center. Zero stars if possible - I hope they go out of business.

Junk. Why have an app or website where the login never works and you are just prompted to call? I really don't want to talk to anyone. It's been this way for years. Just trying to thaw a freeze. The other two credit bureaus are simple and effective.

Password Autofill NO WORKIE. Did you turn off the autofill feature for iOS passwords? It will bring me to contacts and to credit card info, but it won’t take me to the iOS passwords. When I click on passwords, the menu disappears and NOTHING happens. Got a message that can’t be replied to that says, too bad, so sad, your dad. The developer says that it is because my settings are off for autofill on my phone. #WRONG The developer has no intention of having a conversation to solve this problem that is 100% them.

App is useless. I can log onto the website with no problem, but for some reason, logging on the app saying my password is wrong… Then to say my account is locked but still able to sign in online… Now I see how hackers get our data…

Using your app. Having this app is great and to be able to watch my score grow without fear of there being a hit on my report is awesome.

No “what’s changed”. Wish I knew what improved my credit. Instead you don’t tell me what’s changed? Just how much it went up?

Awful. My Eqifax has two different scores when I go online I have a one hundred point higher score than this paid app. It’s as though one app the paid one is there to assist creditors so they can continue to report the negative and boost interest rates for businesses, the free app seems honest.

Credit score. I don’t understand how someone’s credit score can change daily. Seems like every day I’m getting an update where my credit score has changed. Yet I pay most of my cards off and my score goes up one point. What the heck is with this?

Doesn't preserve login. What's the point.. You may as well just use a mobile web browser to go to their website. This app makes you login every single time you open it so there's no point in it being an app. I'm not even sure it is a real app or just a web view wrapper.

Useless. Everything forces one to go to the website. App is useless other than to push costly subscriptions.

Fraud. I am currently being scammed. The women doing it has my SSN and Drivers license and says they are going to secure a loan in my name or use my information to get a loan. Her name is Thea Alexis Samper. Watch my credit! Can provide a picture if you need.

Score dropped 150 points. There is no reason to drop my score that low! I can’t believe Equifax does this because of one dispute. I’ve been trying to improve my credit score for the last 4-6 months and even before my disputes it wasn’t this low.

Cant print. I needed to print my credit report to redact information and submit to an employer. If you need to print anything, you can't do it with Equifax. Just to save you the trouble… It won't even show you your report in full. You have to click on a column and choose by sections.

Ms. Weekly update will be very helpful to keep consumers well rounded on credit history

Junk. Can’t ever log in, because I’m suppose to call during business hours. Whatever. Just trying to upsell me something and not allowing me access to my credit freeze and data is wrong. The other two credit agencies work fine. Equifax just making this difficult. ZERO stars!!!!!

Deleted immediately. It’s 2025 and huge companies still can’t get apps right. The moment I finished registering I received an error message instead of displaying my credit score. Might as well stick to any other credit tracking app stay away from this one honestly.

Easy to freeze unfreeze credit. Easy to freeze unfreeze credit

This app doesn’t give enough information. When I look at my credit history, it says too many delinquent accounts, but yeah, it doesn’t show what accounts have been delinquent. As a matter of fact, I don’t believe I even have any delinquent accounts.

Can’t freeze in app?. The # 1 thing this app should do is to freeze and unfreeze my credit. What’s the point of this app if I have to go to a website ? The other credit agencies figured that out. Please add this feature. Also please add notification options so I can choose what type (security, marketing, etc).

Can’t access credit report. The whole purpose of me downloading the app and purchasing the subscription was to obtain Credit Report in which i’m now allowed access. Notification continues to say there is an error and credit report cannot be accessed. What a waste!
