Servers down for more than 3 days now. So i got an email telling me to download this app for 5000 pc points. But the servers have been down since i installed it, over 3 days ago. So all I know for now is that the servers aren't stable and that it uses a crappier keyboard than your default one. I will update this review when (if?) the servers come back up. Update: it's a week later and the servers still won't connect. Deleting the garbage app.

Update. New update and now it won’t load. Guess I’ll go to Metro this week

Ridiculous customer service. Horrible customer service - promise of points that gets dishonoured due to fine print and a 4 cent price differential. And then they have no issues responding saying that they would have rounded up to provide the reward if the bill was 2 cents short! This from a multi million dollar top line generating company!

Sadly Disappointing:. Sadly Disappointed: The prior problem still remains, I have deleted and reinstalled the app after receiving a message from the developer advising that the problem has been solved and the case has been close, NOT SO THE ISSUE REMAINS THE SAME. And now when I log in through a browser through my pointless have disappear. PLEASE FIX IT. Sadly Disappointing: The new App does not work at all, it gives me message when trying to sign in (“our apologist an unknown error has occurred”) I have deleted and reinstalled the app at least 5-10 times, to no avail. I have log in through several internet browsers with out a problem, so my log in info is not the problem. Please fix it.

Transactions do not show. I cannot see how many points I have and the transactions I have made. I see always the error message :( I deleted my app and reinstalled it as well

Works half the time. Points only get credited a fraction of the time. You have to manually enter missing transactions, and those only get credited half the time, others are not responded to. I tried shopping based on these offers for several months but you don’t get the advertised benefits. Pretty bad ap.

PC card offline mode in Loblaws. Every PC card linked to family account is recognized as O518 or E518 offline mode in Church Street loblaws since this iOS 18 update on 22 Sep 2024 due to which we are not able do redeem and earn points even though same cards are working in Shopper. They need to urgently fix this. Customer Service wasn’t able to assist either.

Buggy. While I am very excited about this app and it's potential, it has a lot of bugs. I cannot scroll in many locations in the app, recipes, etc, so that I can only see 2 recipes and cannot access the rest. I had trouble adding recipe ingredients to my shopping list. I had trouble signing in---just lots of bugs. I am using an iPad mini and running the latest updates on it, so trouble is in the PC Plus app.

Reasonable app. It's ok. Didn't recieve the 5,000 bonus for loading the app. The items are tailored to what I buy, but it's a bit "pushy" because it offers points again before I run out of those items. Nice to be able to postpone some for another week.

Ok app but pay attention to your points. The app works fine. More and more I’m noticing that I am missing points... lots of points. Pay attention to your purchases and keep your bills to verify that you got the points. I’m missing valid points each time I shop. Report your missing points!!

Worst loyalty program ever. The title says it all.

Soo easy to use. Even without card we could use it!!! So comfortable, and never forgettable when we get groceries

Signing in all of the time is very annoying. pc shoppers should be trying to please customers not having them sign in every time they are at a cash register

New interface is bad. Bring back the old UI. The new UI is bad. No one scrolls horizontally.

Offers not working. When I click to load offers in the latest version of the app, most of them are listed as “expired” in my account even though they are current offers.

Handy app!. This app has been great! With all my offers loaded right on my phone I never miss a deal to earn points. I can also keep my points card stored in the wallet app so I never worry about losing or breaking it. You can even correct missing transactions all from inside the app. If you're a PC Points member you need this app!

Don’t Bother Downloading. An absolutely useless app (and the site is just as bad), don’t waste the space on your phone. No matter what I try, neither the app nor site will let me make an online purchase and redeem my points, always saying “We’re unable to place your order. It’s a technical problem on our end. Try again.” I’ve tired again. Ten times. Uninstalled and reinstalled, tried on different browsers and while Incognito. Cleared cache. Everything. Contacted customer service for help, they replied with stock suggestions, I tried to reply to the email like they said I could, then got an email saying I needed to use the contact form again because *they can’t reply to the emails*. It truly seems like a ploy by the company to keep their customers from redeeming high value amounts of points. So disappointed.

This app does not work. It just gives unknown error unable to login or sign in

Best Rewards-Worst App I Have Ever Tried. This is the best rewards program I belong to but it is also the very worst functioning app I have. It often does not work. “Our apologies, an unknown error has occurred.” Over and over again. 0 offers loaded and last week and this weeks new problem, “No flyer this week” when I know there is a flyer. Or it says you have no points acquired. Yes I have the most recent update. Poor functionality for such a large company.

Getting better with each revision. PCPlus started out as a pretty buggy and clumsy app, but it has been improving both in stability and thoughtful features. I now think it is a better way to do coupons then the old paper way and I'm glad that No-Frills has taken the initiative in pushing the envelope of app-based store discounts. Try using this app instead of clipping coupons and I think you'll agree.

Making it shiny doesn’t make it good. I used to love the simple design of this app: load my offers, check my points, and go! Now, I have to scroll thru videos I don’t want to watch and thru articles I don’t want to read. The tipping point for me was opening the app today and thinking “hmm, seems very light in the number of offers this week.” Nope! My bad! I had to scroll thru *more* stuff before I found the *rest of my offers*.... what a TERRIBLE REDESIGN. For pete’s sake, at least leave the offers together. ((Eyeroll))

So convenient!. I love this app. I can access it while shopping to see what I am able to earn points on and it instantly updates after my purchases to show what I've earned.

Works for me!. I can use the app at the store when asked to show my PC Points card. I wish it gave more offers that weren't all based on what I buy, but the offers I do get give me loads of points.

Great app and easy to use. Like the way you guys of been fixing the bugs that came up so quickly. It's a nice fast quick useful app. The only thing I'd like to see more of or more offers from shoppers drug Mart which is where I usually shop

Superb!. I've had many cards and loyalty programs and some are more useful than others. I mean, they are mostly a real time survey of people's buying habits! This program makes it worth the information we provide by giving back! Anyways, I'm using this app to shop and choose each week which products will give me points. I am alone and I manage to accumulate points pretty fast because they give them for things I actually need! It's very convenient to be able to use it while shopping and save some of the things for the following week etc. It works flawlessly for me.

Good start but not there yet. This is a very limited shopping app. It's really just a vehicle to push weekly coupons. So more about Loblaws than the customer - however customized they think it is. Like the brilliant Wegmans app, you should be able to create your own shopping lists as well as lists from suggested recipes. And also like the Wegmans app, you should be able to see full nutritional information, label pictures and pricing for each and every product. It would also be good if you can filter by dietary concerns for those that are lactose or gluten intolerant, diabetic or by caloric intake. A better reporting tool and usage would be ideal as well - to track what and how much you are spending on a regular basis - as well as how much the coupons have saved you to date. So Loblaws if you can add this basic product information, some more relevant filters, relevant reporting and probably some social media options for adding recipes and wrap coupons around all that - then you have my complete and undivided attention. Until then…this is a very basic - also ran - marketing gimmick.

Terrible. I’m trying to check out at the grocery store using the barcode provided in this app. Can’t open the app because it “requires an update”. I want to go home. Skipped out on the points because of the long line behind me, had no time to update this to show my card number. Extremely disappointed.

Stable and useful. I don't often write reviews for apps, but this one is particularly useful when planning your grocery list for the week. By listing what is on sale, or if there are bonus points available on a particular item it can help redirect you in your choices so that you actually end up saving money. The points quickly add up, and are super easy to use. Overall, a simple app that helps you save money.

Use the PC credit card to maximize your points. The app is really good to track your points. The offers are not 100% accurate to what I normally purchase but they are very accurate

Sign into the acc- to get the barcode is time consuming.. Checkouts are supposed to be speedy and efficient. The app signs in before getting the barcode. Sometimes, even LTE is not very fast. A few times I had to wait before the app could get my barcode. 'Barcode' should be offline; providing an option to add it to the 'Passbook' would be great. Thanks!

Never created account. I got an email saying I am now registered but I never created an account, someone in Canada created an account using my email and name. Be careful because this whole thing might be a scam.

Optimum. Not working

Bloated and limited return at most locations. This app has gone from basic with a number of point opportunities, to bloated with so corporate office people trying to hype it up with a bunch of bloated fodder. No, most people don’t want the bloat. No, you do not receive points on ALL your purchases, only ones listed in the app as having points, so fake posts here it seems. Must be why the ratings on the app are not very high. Hey, if you would actually get points on all your purchases like other grocery stores and other points programs, it would get a higher rating. There are many listed points earnings that don’t actually give you the points, it’s actually worse than you expect. I very regularly have to request missing points as items clearly listed do not automatically give the points. One time I was denied 3 times until I phoned in and she said, I don’t know why they didn’t just give it to you, it’s clear, 3 PC Organic *** on your receipt. It’s a lot of effort to even get the points you are supposed to get. One store my points on the sign didn’t work and they said you have to ‘load’ them. There is no load button. Nothing to ‘load’. I opened the app in the store to scan. What a junky pain in the but. Sad they have someone posting seemingly fake reviews here.

Disappointed. I honestly preferred the previous program, before the merging of the two points programs. Much fewer offers in both Shoppers and the Superstore. I’ve been shopping in other stores because the incentive just isn’t really there to buy my groceries there anymore. Disappointing

Love!. This app is great. I hate having to carry around loyalty cards in my wallet. It's easy to access and see how many points I have and I also love the special offers. I basically have coupons for things I'll actually buy, without clipping and searching. This app plus their points credit card and ship & click service =👌🏾

Crashing all the time. The app keeps crashing, I can’t even open the app! I just did an app update and there’s no change

Saved $420 in 3 years!. I shop at Loblaws anyway, so this app is a must have. Easy to use and supports Wallet so you can always bring up your card quickly. Over the past three years using this app I have redeemed or collected $420.

Love the color of the card. I'm new to the store & like this place. Huge selections. Great prices on many items. Stores are well lit, clean and easy to navigate. Just wish they would have people helping to bag at the registers.

Bug. App always stuck at scanning the card interface. Can not return to the main interface.

Points balance. The pcoptimum Card in the wallet although it allows easy scanning at the store it does not give automatic points update so you never know how points you actually have. You must open the PC app to get an accurate balance. Very annoying.

Great app :). Easy to use and keep track of everything! So much better than carrying a physical card that I might forget or leave in a different bag. Also it's great that you can still access the card for scanning while phone is locked! Makes it really easy at check out.

Terrible. Can’t stay logged in. Features that worked previously don’t work now. Forced to load your offers to get any benefit for spending and yet they make the process to load offers difficult. Trying to rip you off.

Furious. NOT happy with this company or this app. Upon loading my points to new optimum card 114,000 of them disappeared from PC card. Two months and hours on the phone later...NOTHING DONE TO HELP.

Less Than Desirable. I’m using this app for the first time, not impressed that “errors” are occurring. I can’t bring up the flyers part of the app and even tried several times to link my card, says invalid card. I’m thinking it’s time to maybe cancel the whole thing, very disappointed.

Poor communication. I wrote to them saying I have a “it’s is not you” coming up where my offers usually show and they sent me an email saying to do a bunch of steps and that I can still collect point even when my offers are not there. I explained that not really since I didn’t know what my offers were even for the week so how would I collect the points if I don’t know what I get points for? Still waiting for it to be fixed and still can no collect points for things I would usually buy... my average 3000 to 7000 points collected each week depending on my weekly offers and I’m missing out this week

Stopped working. Has stopped working. No offers. No transactions. Just a donut …

Dumpster Fire of Ads. The app is becoming a dumpster fire of ads & product offers that I don’t use or have never bought and useless information.

Preferred Store. There is no way to change your preferred store so you can’t get the deals for the store you actually shop at.

The app is just for pc to bomb you with adds. The app is not for the user it’s for pc to advertise to you. There is zero ability to choose your own store. And now the offers are just for cheap pc products again forcing us to buy pc brand. Don’t waste your time on this app it’s just used to manipulate you. Shameful!

Constant issues. I don’t know if it’s just me but this freaking app drives me nuts. It signs me out every single time I go to use it. The wifi/cell signals in many stores is horrendous which means the cashier has to wait while I screw around near a window or sometimes even walk out the store.

Can’t sign in.. “We apologize for the inconvenience. Try again.” Complained to PC Optimum. Deleted the app. Reinstalled. Problem with the app itself. No response.

What’s wrong with your app. I have been trying to refresh this app for 3 months and nothing is working, please fix this app

Appalling decline in app & program. Value of offers cut in half. Relevance of offers cut by 90%. Increasingly just a way to push promotion on you, and harvest your sensitive spending data, with little compensation in exchange.

Unecessary Hassle. I don't see the point in loading coupons every week having to wait a week just to use them? Its almost as if I can only use them on a Thursday. What about for those that want to go grocery shopping on a Sunday or Monday? It should be easy, you should be able to "load" the offers and use them the second you load them, not have to wait a week just to go shopping. Also, in my saved offers, it will say it becomes available tomorrow and then the next day they just disappear and tell me to load new offers to save for the next week? I shopped so many times, scanned my card, and never any points. So unfair. This app is really faulty. Stop making life harder than it needs to be.

My account was tampered with. This app features a “household tool” that allowed other people to join my account without my authorization. The other users who tampered with my account then used my points and I was left with no response from the help/support feature associated with this app. I would not recommend.

One step forward, 2 steps back.. Having to enter email and password each time takes too long. Fix so it remembers password. Show points accumulated on each transactions. Like the access to latest flyer. Good app, just needs to be improved a bit.

Not rewarding. Started out good but today the best you’ll get is 10% of the item cost in points, pathetic!

New app update sucks. New app update sucks. Instead of all of your offers on 1 page and scroll through, they are categorized and you need to click on them individually to see all of them.

Why even bother?. In the last 6 years you’ve tried 3 times to revamp your rewards program. And in that time you’ve revoked all previously earned points... 3 times. Why should I even bother to collect points if you’re just gonna take them away when you get hacked again next year? I also ‘LOVE’ their super weird password requirements, security doesn’t start with making people make strong passwords. It starts with the people programming a system that ENCRYPTS, SALTS, and HASHES passwords on the server side. Also TLS/SSL for transit security, with the app checking the validity of the servers’ certificate. As a programmer myself I can do better than this.

Crap app. Still cannot save any items due to erroneous error message that I have already saved 4 items (even though I haven’t saved anything!). Signing out and deleting the app and reinstalling does not fix this glitch. This app has gone downhill substantially since the amalgamation earlier this year. Customer service to get this fixed has been unresponsive and terrible.

Wont login or stay logged in. This app keeps breaking every few days! App keeps logging out every fee days and when I try to login, the website popup says its logged in but app keeps asking me to login. Like its basic login session, we aren’t even talking about any additional features. How is that not stable in production!?

It’s not you it’s us. The app has been down for several weeks and it’s getting pretty disappointing on how many points I’d missed out on because I can’t scan my card while the app is down

Used to be good. Is now garbage. The app and service used to be about value, they offer that you can “use and collect” points at Wholesale stores. Except now, none of their products that you can collect points on are offered at Wholesale. Secondly it used to be a good selection of products would have points available on them. Now it’s a handful of garbage products that PC is trying to push. Stop treating your customers and members like we’re idiots. Honestly it’s pathetic!

Company takes advantage of customers. The app isn’t great either. The offers never seem to work out as advertised. Shop local!

Issues and no support to resolve these. Got many cards linked on the app, but always have issues to get points when I pay…. Useless.

App does not function. I can not open offers or add coupons or look at more. I get a spent that says refresh or It’s not you it’s us. Has been an issue for 6 months. I am now sending again. It’s been 9 months. No where to get help. Can’t add to least, can’t get more info. Need help!

Annoying. I find this app annoying now. Too much stuff, offers where I don’t even shop let alone a store within my area. Things I don’t even buy. I’m not interested in pc telling me what I need to buy and where. If you want to make it better then do it according to what I buy and where.

Is there support for this app still?. Whenever I try to sign into the app, the sign in page doesn’t load. I can access my account just fine on the webpage though.

App hasn’t worked in months. The app logged me out months ago and I haven’t been able to log back in. It keeps going to a blank screen when I try to sign in. No support to help fix the problem. Had to go to Reddit for support just to find out there is no current fix.

Videos are not offers. Good step in allowing us to turn video auto play off but I still don’t understand why cooking videos are placed in a section named Your Offers. How many optimum points do we get for each video? Zero? Then move them somewhere else.

Apple Watch Wallet needs to show barcode. Unbelievably this app just shows the numbers of your card on Apple Watch instead of the bar code. Canadian Tire, Shoppers and others show a barcode that can be scanned just like wallet on the iPhone.

Once-amazing app now broken. This app was so user-friendly and useful until about a month ago. Digital offers and transactions cannot be loaded, links to more details go to error message, report points inquiry is a dead link, flyers in my area require me to input my location every time (before it would remember). I have reported issues several times and nothing has been fixed. Unfortunate since this used to be such a good app.

Poor. It’s been 6 weeks and transactions history will not load. I cannot make an inquiry on missing points, I cannot contact anyone thru the app. Virtual assistant does not load. I get “technical difficulties be patient” messages when attempting to look at history. As far as performance I would have given -1 if possible.

No way to preload offers!. Shouldn’t have to preload the offers just to get points. I don’t preload anything when I use the PC Card for gas, you should have to preload anything for groceries.. bad customer service!

App login not working. Since last few weeks, I’m not able to login with my account. Login page opening with blank and no option to enter any details….

What fix?. My points are STILL at zero and I've dealt with 4 customer service reps who have assured me that the app has been updated

Please add barcode to Apple Watch wallet app. Please add scannable barcode to the Apple Watch wallet card. It does NOT display a scannable barcode on your wrist, therefore you still need to pull out your phone to scan your Optimum card. See for yourself: On your Watch, double-click the flat side button to open Wallet, then find and tap on wallet cards for any of these apps: Tim Hortons, Air Miles, Starbucks, 7-Up, Canadian Tire, Indigo - they ALL display barcodes. The PC card doesn't. Please fix!

It won't work on my phone. All I get on my phone is points, no offers, I get offers on my tablet but I don't like to shop with it😫

Designed to lock you out of points?. Anytime I was at or near a location that accepted pC Optimum, my phone would log me out and not allow me to log back in. Now for weeks it will not load my points. Keeps telling me it’s not you, it’s us! Talk about screwing ppl out of points. If you have to try that hard to prevent a ppl from getting points you probably should just not offer a rewards program.

Crashing. This app crashes more than any other app I’ve ever seen.. conveniently on days with 20X the points.. I’ve been ripped off for points 3 times to date.

Bad update. No gift cards or prepaid card purchases? That's the only reason I collect points. I'm definitely going to shop somewhere else. I can't believe other law obeying customers are being punished because your company cannot get their security in order. I'm also a PC Financial customer and I'm going to look elsewhere for points that give me the freedom to do what I want with my own points.

Extra content interferes with utility. Go back to a simplified app get rid of all the videos and whatever other stuff you’re trying to push And just show the offers.

Not as good. The offers aren’t as useful to me as they used to be so I don’t shop PC stores very often any more. I don’t shop PC stores so I don’t get great offers any more. 😂 The sign in for PC Health has an extra window to get rid of from PC Optimum before you can sign on to Health, and Health has a stupid phone code to navigate. Can’t do Health without your registered phone with you (so only when I’m home??). Both apps need to regress back to practical and useful versions.

Data stealing and always logs you out. Data stealing application, it often logs you out without any notification. Requiring you to sign in every single time. The entire application is broken and it’s foxed to steal personal data instead of honouring point collection system.

Nothing is fixed. App doesn't show anything except number of points. No offers whatsoever. Still cant add card to wallet.

Digital coupons won’t add. I can select additional digital coupons but it won’t actually add them when I try to submit. Very annoying.

Waste of time😡. You only get points for very few select items and mostly for items I don’t even use. I’m not buying things I don’t need jus for a few measly points. I’ve been shopping at No Frills for years and and when I check my points balance it never goes up. I’ve started shopping elsewhere

Can’t load offers. Haven’t been able to load my offers since the last update. Very frustrating.

“It’s not you it’s us”. “We’re having some technical difficulties and can’t load your offers right now.” This is all I get. The app used to work. Fix it now.

A confusing labyrinth. This app feels like it’s designed to confuse customers and waste their time rather than help them save money. No surprise given it’s Loblaws, but still. Want to access your offers? Hope you enjoy scrolling through multiple menus! Please an an option to show all my offers at once. Also for some reason, there are digital coupons that are available but ONLY if you open a seperate webpage and add them. Why make me do this manual effort rather than adding them to my account?

Can’t sign in. There’s always something wrong with this app.

New layouut. The new layout of “offers we’ve picked for you” is terrible. You have to now scroll right & left after you scroll up & down. The scrolling up-and-down and back-and-forth and then left-and-right is too cumbersome. Please put it back the way it was previously. Thanks.

Love my PC points card 😃. Just want to tell anyone who doesn’t have the PC points card to go get one. It’s truly phenomenal. You get points with anything you purchase. I use it when purchasing groceries, gas and even if you’re getting a new cellphone account. They have different offers. Depends which one you prefer. The PC app is also great. It keeps you updated with everything, all you have to do is load the deals every week and your set. This is the only points card I use. There’s a lot of points cards out there and I always say no. It feels like it takes you forever to actually cash in your points. With PC points I noticed they build up fast, especially if you make a shopping every week or gas up. If you don’t have one you’re missing out. It comes with a card and 2 keychains tags so you never miss your points. Anyone in your household can use it at anytime and before you know it, you have points to cash in. Last Christmas I got a 150,000 points when I got a new account with Fido and a free cellphone. I went to the Real Canadian Superstore and got a cell phone and a 150,000 points which basically is $150.00 that I used to get my groceries for Christmas dinner. Take my advice, grab one for your household. It’s free. It cost nothing. Start earning free groceries. It works. #PCpoints #Amazing

Works great. Love accumulating points app is easy to use. For some reason it doesn't show up in my home screen and I have to search for it every time

Keeps crashing. Lousy app. Needs work.

Use it weekly. Helps me keep up to date with my PC points. Not sure why it doesn't just auto load offers each week, though - since I can't select which I want. It's all or nothing.

It's even worse than it was before. Very unstable, even worse than before the 'fix'. Continuously trying to download offers that have already been downloaded. Loblaws, surely you can do better than this. It's pretty much unusable.
