App Needs Help. The app doesn’t work as it is supposed to. The updates keep messing it up as well. Then there’s the issue of not mirroring Ch 6/28’ weather which it is supposed to do.. Get it right or get rid of it.. period!!!!!

Not an Improvement. White text against a white cloud background is almost impossible to read. Very disappointed at the changes. Also find ads very intrusive in the middle of the weekly weather. Very poor design by your app team as they made a good app unreadable.

Live weather broadcast. Miss the taped live broadcasts that use to be on.

I love this accurate weather App.. I use this app every day and Love it. It is very accurate and lets me know if bad weather is on the way. I would recommend this app to anyone and will continue using it every day. Thanks for doing such a Great Job!!!!

Wrong location. Last couple of weeks it has said I’m in Massachusetts….???? Never even been there. I delete that location and it still is “on” when I open app. Trying to re-install now

Bad update. This was the best weather app until this last update with adds in middle of hourly page and white lettering on cloud background almost impossible to read.

Great app. As the first review, I would have to say that this is a well developed app. It is great to see a future cast to see what Mother Nature has to bring to us. :D

Finally a decent weather app... but. This app is very well written and organized towards a users wants and needs. My only complaints: it is extremely slow to open and the flashing ad at the bottom resembling an alert is in very poor taste. Ads like this using trickery are very annoying and a waste of users time.

Showing rain. Often I can see the storms approaching my area but the last few times it has been just pouring rain on us and the map shows all clear

It’s ok. Current conditions and radar are goodish. Forecasts change more than the weather (what weather app doesn’t?) Don’t expect a forecast video. If it’s even there, it might be yesterday’s video, definitely not from the last newscast.

Unable to open wx app. Why doesn’t it open anymore?

Sort of works. The app doesn't seem to like future map. Keeps crashing. Works fine for radar of the past. Get it fixed. Five stars

Terrible update. I used to like this app - but now it no longer works correctly on my iPad. It doesn’t flip to landscape mode like it used to. What genius developer did this?? I have to switch to a new app now - sad, but I guess that’s what someone wanted.

I’m disappointed.. When I first got the app a couple years ago, it was great. But now the radar is aggravating. If I close the app for 5 seconds then go back in, all of the things I set up are undone. Storm tracks, area specific alerts. All undone. The flashy add are annoying as well. A lot of things need fixed, properly and immediately. I am looking for a new weather due to these issues. Good job OHIOWX app makers. You ruined it.

Nice app but new backgrounds kill it. I’ve used this app for a long time, and like it. But the new update with the white on white background really kills it’s usefulness. If they don’t change it soon I’ll have to change my weather app.

Unreliable. Takes too long to boot up. Frequently unavailable which is exactly what you don’t want in a weather app.

App needs updated. Upgraded my phone to Apple 6 and now I no longer get alerts. It says my notifications are not turned on but they are turned on. Deleted and reinstalled but still not working. I've had other people tell me they are experiencing the same problem. Please fix otherwise I'll be using another weather app.

App won't open. I've been having issues with this App not opening for a couple months now on my IPad. I'm having issues on my Lg phone also.

Latest update 👎🏼. Latest update map coverage warning area and radar is terrible. You can see the warnings as for large area watch’s but once there is a storm in those areas it is very hard to see the storm location do to the watch areas color coded.

Interactive map not working. Not working on ipad

Radar stop showing past. Not sure what happened to the app but Radar only shows Now to Future, no past. Can’t be changed. Tried to follow instructions but it doesn’t work. Please fix it! Also tried to get APP support but the link does nothing.

Good idea, bad execution. I like the layout of the app. However, I have installed it twice now(Dec 2019) and after a couple days of use, it freezes on the splash screen and never opens. So needless to say it’s useless if it won’t even open.

Love this app!. Most accurate radar app I’ve ever used. No radar is flawless but this one includes many features that help me plan my day.

This update, not good. Thanks to the background of white clouds in the latest update, you can’t even read the information! Please change or at least allow options for user to change the background.

No video forecast????. What happened to the video forecast that was once on this app? I watched that everyday multiple times. Please bring that feature back.

Better but needs improvement.... So in the previous version there was a past and future affect on the weather and that really helped because then I could predict how fast it would take or what time will the storm hit. So I love this app but I love the previous version waaay better. I hope you take my review into consideration and change this app for the better. Thanks!

Great stuff!. Works great for me on 4s running current iOS! Replaces my need for TWC app.

Skewed the pooch on this one. Yeah, they totally ruined it with this last update. Still have previous version on my iPad, thank God. Hope I can figure out a way to backgrade my phone or I too will delete. Update 2-3-18 Just when you think it couldn’t get worse they prove you wrong. Now you can’t go full screen on the iPhone map view and it doesn’t open to the radar map at all. Takes an extra tap to get there now. On the iPad the app only opens in portrait mode even if you have it in landscape. Have to turn to port then back to land. Can you give negative stars in a review?

Go to weather app. This app does everything I need from a weather app. Great map and easy to use buttons to switch between home, hourly, daily and the radar map.

APP says it’s not available in this location. I get this comment every once in a while when I try to access this app. I have it set for Granville, Ohio which should be easily accessed. What is the problem? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't,

Only Local. I used the app all the time in the states. Recently went to Israel for a church trip and I couldn’t even open the app to see local Columbus weather. When I’m Columbus I could see Israel weather. There seems to be a block to access based on your physical location. Be advised. Looking for an app that works everywhere.

New Background. I love blue skies but not for the background. I liked the map coming up first & especially liked the Hourly & Daily screen. New update is difficult to read the text. Please go back to the previous version.

Contact me when old versions back. Insanely slow loading. Layout is clunky. The old version was amazing.

Good idea, needs work. I like the hour by hour and the extended forecast, but the radar hardly works. The past few days, the future cast has been for the previous morning. When it actually works , it's great!

White on white doesn't work. What a foolish mistake. Change it back please.

INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED!. After hearing about this 'fabulous...only weather tool you need' app about 50 times per news broadcast I finally downloaded. What an incredible disappointment. The radar never loads and on more than a few occasions the app didn't match your broadcast. I went back to read reviews and what do you know 10 five star reviews ALL on the same day...good job planting feedback Sinclair Broadcasting. Yet one more thing to solidify your mediocre position among Central Ohio media outlets.

Weather on the go!. Can’t be sitting in front of the tv at home to see the weather at designated times but can quickly see what’s happening in real time and what to expect. Easy to use and it’s right on the forecast and can see the weather to help keep me updated.

Last update makes the radar extremely inaccurate. Ever since you did the last update the app is extremely inaccurate. It use to be spot on. Maybe go back to the old program because current model blows. I’ve actually downloaded a different weather app.

Best Weather App for Central OH. I've had about 3 different weather Apps for iPhone, it's nice to have one that is focused on central Ohio alone... only one I trust.

Data Hog. Enjoy the app but there is no reason it should be consuming gigs of data while on cellular (and no conserve data setting).

Bad update. The new update is terrible. It is almost impossible to read with the white letters. Also I do not like that the radar is not the first thing you see.

Formerly useful. Your recent background change makes this app nearly unusable. White lettering on a light and white background can’t be read. This was the best app for content and layout. Please fix this ASAP! Thank you.

So disappointed. You guys are by far my favorite news team. Bill Kelly is my guy. However, this is by far the worst weather app there is. It hardly loads, and most of the time it just force closes. Please fix!

Great app. Love the fact that the weather follows me. No matter where I am traveling in the state it will notify me of weather warnings to keep me and my family safe. Also like that I can put in various locations and monitor their weather before we travel there and even keep an eye on my elderly mother’s weather in Cleveland to give her a heads up on storms etc since she can’t see too well to watch her local news/weather.

Update - 5/28/19. Still extremely slow loading. Splash screen is way too long. I downloaded and use another version of this same app from a different station (from WACH app). WACH WX loads in two seconds. This app takes nearly 10 seconds. The ad should load immediately with the splash screen; instead it doubles the loading time. The newly updated map makes it impossible to see the radar through the watch/warning boxes. The map alerts all appear the same color.

Crashes EVERY time. I have deleted and reloaded several times. The map comes up and the minute I try to do anything it closes! Frustrating. Done trying!

Eh... Not impressed. I'll keep my NBC 4 app, their ad space doesn't take up half the screen. Deleted!!

App won't open. Very disappointing. App won't open on iPhone. Tried twice.

Crashes every time. The app crashes every time I open it with my iPhone 6.

Could be better. I installed it thinking it would be great but I was disappointed.

Fail!. App will not open. I deleted/installed it a second time & it still did not work.

Background. Hey I can see the weather. 12/10/2017 So I wake up this morning and decide to check the weather. Open the app and hey new background. Looked nice enough, but then I click on hourly and I see a problem. At the bottom of the screen the white lettering blends in the background of the white clouds. Same thing when you go to daily screen. This is why we need Bill Kelly back, he would’ve never let this happen. White on white doesn’t work. I use this as my main weather app over any other. Time to start looking again. Because I know this won’t be fixed until the app decides to change in about a 2 years.
