Worst purchase ever. I bought this thinking it would help level my classroom library. I wish I was joking when I say that this app literally had zero of the books that I had. Save the money and use Scholastic Book Wizard instead. It’s free and it has almost all of the books that you would have in your classroom library. I need my money back now.

Don't want an account. What's the point of making you register for an unneeded account. There are plenty of ways to manage backup and cross device sync through iCloud without another password to remember

Not worth it.. I bought this app thinking it could level out the books but of course none of them showed up. I tried over 20 books. It is a waste of $6!

Don’t waste your money. This app isn’t even worth the money… hard to get signed into then if you can it doesn’t work like it says it should. Not worth it!!!

Unreliable Data. When the ISBN scans - it appears to pull from the The Lexile Framework for Reading. While it is almost always spot on - it does not allow editing of your Library. I wanted to add the GRL and it will not allow me. Very frustrating.

Can’t create an account. I created an account. When I attempted to log in, it won’t let me in. So I tried to reset the password, but the email never came. Thinking I made a typo in the email address when creating the account, I tried to create a new account, but it said I already created an account. I can’t figure out how to log in.

Does not have DRA levels for 90% of my books. I just PURCHASED this app to help find DRA levels quickly and easily, boy was that a mistake. I scanned 20 of my most popular books (Magic tree house, flat Stanley ext.) and there were only DRA levels for 2 of the books I scanned , it actually allows me to submit the DRA level myself which makes me not trust the ones that did pop up at all, it’s clear there’s no research put into this app, it just expects the teachers who PAY for the app to do the research and put in the information. This is NOT an efficient way to see the levels of books and a WASTE of money… the app is also extremely dated and has the format of an early 2000’s iPhone keyboard. I just threw away money buying this, don’t do the same.

Not worth it. The whole point in me purchasing this app was to get help leveling the books for my classroom. I can easily go to the scholastic website and type in any books information to get the DRA number that way. Why would I spend $3.99 to access a poor camera to scan the isbn that won't even focus? I still have to type everything in to get the DRA number. Fix your camera focus and maybe this app will be half decent. What a waste.

Love It. I've had this app for 3 years at least. I use it frequently for my classroom library. I love this app. Not only do I get the exile level, I usually can find the genre also. Not sure what happened that I had to register, but it was easy to do and worth it.

Well.... There's good and bad to this app. The great thing is they have a classroom library and it gives a check in and check out system which can be very helpful to teachers. On the other end, I've looked up GR levels that are missing and submit them and it gives me a message that they are reviewing it. When does that process happen? It seems like the creators of this app are a little out of the loop with the reviewers. People are asking for better quality and paying for this app makes it even more frustrating when something doesn't work how it's advertised. Also, it's exhausting to spend forever leveling books by typing all the titles in because it's more likely they will come up then if you scan it. This app has great potential. Please update it.

Not many titles. I am leveling a huge classroom library and using 3 different apps. I will say sadly this one was the most expensive and is finding such a small amount that it has not been worth it. Many times it may find a book but will give NO info for the book which is not helpful at all. I would NOT buy this app. Wish I could get w refund 😞

Good App. We love this app because it levels books and catalogs them at the same time, which obviously saves some time for us because we need both functions. But we would say there were some incorrect F&P levels, so just be careful of that. We had to cross-reference about 15% of books with another source. And most of those showed the incorrect level in the Level It app. The scanning feature worked fabulously and made it so easy. We would definitely recommend this app to those that need leveling and cataloging, just keeping in mind that some of the levels may be off.

Catalog not full enough. I have a lot of newer scholastic books and older chapter books donated from retired teachers. I have over 300 and I stopped scanning after scanning fifty or so. I could only label four books by lexile level. All that I would see was that they were not in the system. I would then manually type them in to learn the same thing. Not as easy as advertised.

No scan. Purchased this app for the scan feature to quickly level my books. And it doesn’t scan!!! I have to enter the ISBN 🙄

Refund. How do I get a refund? I am teacher trying to level her classroom library. So far every book I scanned has no level information.

Love the app!. I have found the app helpful in tracking books from my classroom library. I too wish it were possible to export my library data. It took awhile to scan in or enter all my books, but once in there it is easy to use!

Great app needs a little more. Love this app to track my classroom books and check them out to students. The wish list allows me to look for books at thrift stores I need. It would be extremely helpful to have accelerated reader levels available for books. In addition, I have found it difficult to find books through scan the IBSN.

Not good to find levels. Looking to scan books to find levels and paid for NOTHING! Knew the book name but no info on reading levels. Very disappointed!

Not a good app for leveling books. I purchased this app to level books for my classroom library by DRA level. I had a stack of 20 books and only 2 of them came up with a level. The rest had no level or couldn’t be found. Waste of money!

Teacher/Literacy Facilitator. This app is wonderful when it has the level, however, most books don't have a level and I end up spending lots of time on websites locating the level. This is not a one stop, convenient app if you're needing it to locate the reading level quickly. I am not currently using it to keep tracks of my own books. I'm needing it to provide the reading level quickly.

Do Not Buy This App. This app is misleading. Key features are ONLY available to teachers. Like scan a book to see what level reading it is. ONLY available to teachers. I just paid for an app that says let’s you do this feature and it does not. They took money. How does a Parent not allowed access over what level book child is reading. Total joke. Do not buy app. Waste of money, unless your a teacher. Asked for refund. No answer back yet.

Not Recommended for DRA. Unfortunately, I need my books leveled using DRA and this app just didn’t do the job. Several books did not have a DRA level listed.

Very Limited User Features. Want to change your email address because it’s been updated sometime in the last 10 years? You can’t. Want to combine some of libraries? You can’t. Want to search all of your library‘s? It looks like you can but the results are always zero., even if the book is already a part of one of your libraries. Many titles are not in their database and even if they are don’t expect them to provide reading levels. I do like that I can check to see if I have a particular title… If I can only guess correctly which leveled library it might be in.

Why is this app available for purchase??. I purchased this app from a review on a website. I should have checked their Facebook page first and read reviews.. no activity since 2018!! The books in our personal library.. most are popular children's books.. are either not found on the app or don't have any level information available. Sent an email with no response.

Really???. I have yet to be given a level from this app. I scan and scan and scan books. But it doesn't have the guided reading levels for anything. Such a waste of my money.

Stop! do not waste your money. Does not work. Only leveled 2 out of the 100 scanned. Those 2 books already have their level printed right on them. Terrible. I want a refund!!

Only identified a few books. I just purchased this app for my classroom with school funds. I wish I could get a refund. I just scanned 30 books and only 5 were identified with a reading level. Approximately 10 weren’t even in the database. This is very frustrating. Now my students are suffering because of an inferior product.

Waste of money. Won’t scan as promised, also doesn’t have levels listed for most books. Waste of $5!

Does not work. I tried to level 30+ books from my kindergarten library. Not a single book I scanned (including popular titles) was in their library. This app was completely useless. 😡

Terrible. I bought this app so I could easily thrift new books for my classroom. Of all the books I scanned in the thrift store, this app only recognized maybe 2 or 3 of them. NOT WORTH $5 at all. Really disappointed I spent money on this. It didn’t help me at all.

Good, but needs cleaned up. I’ve been able to find a majority of the levels that I need, but some of them I have to dig for. The barcode option is wonderful, but sometimes it comes up with no information for any of the level types. However, if you search the title manually you are able to click on one of three or more duplicates and find an option that has at least the Lexie rating 90% of the time. This app would easily get five stars if someone was able to clean it up a little.

Helpful. This app is so helpful- once I have all my classroom books put in- I will be able to sort them by GR level and check them out to students and hopefully keep control of my inventory and who has what books!!!

Not very useful!. Out of all the books I have searched so far (about 15 well known books), I have only found two with minimal information/description. I really like the set up and presentation but what good is any of that if it doesn’t serve its purpose. Refunds should be a guarantee.

Worth Every Penny - If You Have Time.... This will take you time, no joke. I spent probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 hours entering books, and that was only for a total of 300 books - many teachers have far more. However, now that I have all of my books entered, I am SO GRATEFUL to have this service. It is so nice to look up ranges of books for my students and consider what books will be appropriate reading for them as we enter this school year. My biggest complaint is that not all books are in the database, and not all of those entered have a reading level listed.

Poor entries, limited info, not editable. It pulls from a very incomplete library and many of the entries lack cover pictures and reading level for all our most of the systems. If you are not a teacher it doesn’t allow you to add reading level info. Useless. Asking for a refund.

Awful. Should have read the reviews. Every single book I tried to look up did not have level info. Every. Single. One. What a waste of money!

Difficult to use. When scanning books the same book pops up for many different isbn and I have to take time searching manually. Also the levels are often not correct.

Could be do much more..... It's not that bad, but there are many flaws that makes the app kind of pointless. I have a personal collection of 500 books with cds, most from Scholastic. I completed entering the data. Mist of the time, I had to manually search either by title or author, because it would not find the ISBN by scanning it. Most of the books do only have the Lexile levels. Most of the time, there were no pictures either from scanning or manually searching for a book. Many of my ISBN were not in the system, so I had to choose the same title but with a different ISBN. This will cause a problem when kids will checkout a book with ISBN that is not in the system. So, I think it's great to easily find my books in my library, but that ends there. More than half of my books didn't have their ISBN in the system, but were under different ISBN.

Limited Selection. This app gave level information for only about 10% of my classroom library. Glad I got a free trial. Now it’s time to cancel because this app is definitely NOT worth money. Very disappointed because the scan feature would have been super convenient.

Waste of Money. I've never written a review, but this app is so terrible. I have just scanned and typed in about 75 books in my kids rooms and have only found THREE guided reading levels. It's ridiculous.

What a Mistake Buying This!. Being a school librarian, we get donations and would like to properly assign a reading level. Not only does the scanner rarely work, but there are virtually no books in this app with information or reading levels assigned to books that were finely identified. What a waste of $5!

No Impressed. Not impressed. I wish I could receive a refund. The two books I just scanned searching for the level, neither was listed. As a teacher, I also thought their recommendations for specific grade levels were not for independent reading (student led reading), which is really what I was looking for ideas. Disappointing.

Horrible. Not even going to keep the app every book I scan there is no level information. What a waste of money!

Great but missing features. I got this app to catalog books for a teacher. It was a bit of work but I was able to catalog about 300 books in a couple of days. Unfortunately there is no export function so I had to use OCR to retrieve the titles and retype isbns to make a spreadsheet (an export function would go a long way) and look all over the Internet for GR levels. The app has GR levels but sometimes the book is leveled under one isbn but not leveled under another isbn. In the end I used my spreadsheet to print barcode/level stickers for the books so now it is easy to check books in and out. The problem is, there is no history of check-outs, so the teacher can control currently checked books but not who read what - a big flaw.

Hardly any books already in. I thought this would be a great addition to my classroom, but seeing how any older books are probably not in there, it's not worth it. One out of about every ten I scan is available.

Not Very Helpful. Most of the books I try to scan either do not come up or they come up wrong. Very disappointed.

In the middle.... Can't find many books by ISBN, and what you can find is usually missing levels.

Terrible. Doesn't work for Spanish books.. What a waste of $4!! All the books I scanned were "not found" and the 2 books that I did find didn't have all the different reading levels available. Not to mention I have a Spanish library, so that probably didn't help the situation. Perhaps I should have read the reviews before purchasing.

M. A total waste of money. Scanned over 50 books and maybe 3 in the database but with no levels attached to them. 😞 Disappointing!!

Level it Rubbish. Do not waste your time, I have scanned 20 children's books and this app could give me a lexile level for 2 of the books. Frustrating.

Another US only thing.... Tried creating a teacher account, but apparently that only seems possible if you're in the US. Quite annoying as I've found a number of great educational apps, but some features are limited to where one lives.

Handy tool. I would love it if you could add reading recovery levels to this. Also I keep seeing the same books starting with Z under the recently added heading (have been using the app for a while). It would be nice to be able to browse a wider selection of books, either by title or reading level. Other than this I'm finding it very helpful to locate a wider range of books for my struggling readers.

Needs a larger book database. Good idea but I have yet to find a book I have scanned in the database.

Getting Frustrated. Lately it seems that the books scanned do not come up. Use to be a great app but not so much anymore!

Useful and Easy to Use. I just started using this app but like it so far. It looks like it will store a starting guided reading level and a current guided reading level for each of my students and this is what I am looking for. I am very excited about the concept behind this app and look forward to getting to know about all of its features. Awesome concept! Just what I have been looking for!

Frustrated. Kicking me out every time a try to open the scanner ! Ugh

Not that impressive. I have tried many different library apps to catalogue and sort my classroom library. I've used free and paid for apps and this app in particular crashes often and doesn't offer efficient features available in some free apps. For example, you cannot scan multiple books to add to a specified library or manually input books that do not come up in their system making the app only semi useful. Somewhat disappointed especially since this is a paid app.

50-50. Of over 90 books I've added to my sons library only half of them are actually Coming in with any information. This makes it very difficult to evaluate what he can read in his library based on gr levels. How can this be fixed?? Like dr Seuss new books that are now out. "What pet should I get" and similar if that genre but grouping of authors have zero rating. Now what?? I paid money to this ap I would expect at least accurate information

Complete waste of money. Almost all the books I scanned (at least 50) were not in the database and if they were which were just a few they weren’t even leveled... do not purchase the app

Level It. Meant for school / teacher use with levelled readers purchased through schools, that are not available to general public. This is why parents will not find titles from libraries, bookstores etc. I have found this very helpful with Reading Recovery titles, and keeping track of guided reading group books. It’s great that teachers can add to the database as well.

Don’t waste your money. Most of the books I’ve tried to scan in grade 1 are not in the library.

Love this app, but.... It keeps kicking out some of the titles I've loaded into my library. Frustrating! And, could you make it that when we search an author and add a book to our library, that we can go back to the search list instead of having to enter their name every time? Having said that, my searches have been very quick! As a teacher, I love that I can create a roster of my students so I can keep track of what they're reading, as well as my classroom library. Good app, just needs some work!

Level it. Only has ratings for one of every 15 books I've scanned. Needs more books in its library.

Disappointing. Most of the books I have scanned today do not have the reading level. Isn’t that the whole point of this app?

Level it books. The app provides some levels for books but you cannot rely on the scan feature. You have to type in the title and then you often only get a dra level or Lexile level. No guided reading level. Why provide that option if you are not going to provide all types of levels and if you have to type in all the titles then don't provide the scan feature. The scan feature is why I bought the app in the first place.

Not Impressed. This app has only been able to level 1 of the 25 books I have scanned. Not worth the money at all!

Garbage. What a useless app. I scanned 5 books that are from commonly read series and there was no DRA level given. If they can find other levels then I assure they can convert this. I am so angry at the $ spent on this as it is useless

Useless - do not buy. This app was absolutely useless. Every book I looked up had an entry but no levelling information (the purpose of the app). I used personal funds to buy it to use to level books at work. It was no help at all. I'm very disappointed I wasted my money.

Not Effective. Of the dozens and dozens of books I've scanned, only two have showed up with any level information. Very disappointing. I would NOT recommend this app.

Small data base. I would love to see more books in this data base. Most books I scan are not there. I have submitted MANY book levels and those ones are not even updated. I love the layout and ease of this app and would love to share it with colleagues but the data base needs to be updated more often before I will do that.

Canadian picture books. Finding many Canadian titles do not register on this app.

Super!. This app scans book codes, matches DRA if on file and can check books in and out of a class library. Very handy.

No levels!. Almost every book I scanned with the app had no level on file. Very frustrating. Why did I have to pay for this app?? A refund would be nice.

Poor Data Base. Most of the books I have scanned are not in the data base.

Terrible. I scanned an entire kit purchased through Scholastic Canada and not one single level came up. I inputted several titles exactly, between quotes and the app treated it the same it would, a keyword search. I inputted authors’ first and last & last, first and again got many that matched either/or but not both. Useless to me. And why no Reading Recovery AND Guided Reading equivalents listed?

Not impressed!. After scanning, This app takes forever to "search" for a book that you can't even cancel the search. I have yet to find a book that works!! This would be a great app for teachers/parents and schools if it actually worked!!!!! Please continue adding titles and fix this problem. It fails to give "instant" levels, 5 minutes has gone by and still scanning!!!!! Wasting my time!!

Disappointed. I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing this app. It is useless. One book has the levelled info. Harry Potter books and hunger games books don't all show up. These books aren't off the beaten path. They are the books every kid is reading right now. How are they not rated? My child is 9 but reading at a grade 8 level so I was really hoping this app could assist in helping to choose appropriate material but still at a stimulating level. Very disappointed & would not recommend it.

Has Potential. I think with a little work this app has great potential! The library needs to be expanded with updated titles. I appreciate the conversion chart on the main page so I can see what guided reading level the book would be when only the Lex number comes up, however it would be better if the guided reading level is input along with the other numbers, it would save a busy teacher a lot of work cross referencing all the titles without a GR level!

Fairly useless. For this price you would expect to get a pretty decent app. No so much with this one. It is a waste of your money because it hardly recognizes any titles, including many very popular well known picture and chapter books. I rated this with one star but really it's less. I eventually deleted it from my phone.

Good class library starter. I am sorting and cataloging 20+ tears of books. I use the search by title and author feature the most. I have found Zi sometimes have to try several times for each title before I find the book or determine it isn't there. I would like to be able to enter the books by myself if I couldn't find it. Another reviewer suggested the option of being able to add a photo if the cover. I find the duplicate entries of the same book cumbersome. I have to click on the duplicate entries because some will have a nice description and all the levels while another entry may only list the title. Finally, I would like to see the quantity of books I have entered. Ideally, I would like to see the quantity of each title and a quantity by genre. I am hoping it will go from a good app to a great one.

Useful. Great app to catalog my classroom books. Scanning yields results of books but not GR levels. I have to manually search to find entries with GR. I searched about 50 books and only had to submit 2-3 levels, but it was more work to manually search instead of scan. Apparently there are lots of duplicates and scanning yields the non-GR leveled books! It would also be nice to have the content of my library sync from iPhone to iPad. Overall, I know this is a new app and improvements will be made. I'm just glad to have something to use!

Not good if you don't have a teacher .edu email account!. In theory this app is great. However most of my books are either not listed or don't have the reading level info. There is a way to add/edit the info, but only if you have a teacher account. In order to get a teacher account you musts have a valid teacher .edu email account that they verify. We homeschool part time and I contacted the app developer and I received an email back that I was welcome to email them all the book info that is missing in their database. It is much easier to scan the book and just plug in the info needed, and I am not willing to manually type in everything and submit it to them. Very disappointed!

Great app!. I love this app! I am a new fifth grade teacher, but I have collected quite a few books for my classroom library. I was having trouble coming up with a way to level, catalog, and check out books until I came across this app. My only suggestions would be a better scanner (I have to type in the ISBN for almost every book) and ability to save to the cloud in case my device crashes. Other than that, love it!

Duplicate books. I have duplicate copies of same book and would like a way to show that on this program as well as to be able to check out these multiple copies to different kids. Also, the same title and author book is in there more than once due to different ISBN's from different print dates but one has only the Lexile and the other only has the Grade level. I like this program with exception of not being able to show more than one copy of each book in your library or being able to add a search detail in it for yourself to search with.

Yesssss!!!!. Let me begin by saying I only write reviews when I LOVE❤️ or hate something! WTBS: Get it! I've only tried to manually add my books because I had the titles in another place and at this moment my books are not physically around me. However, I definitely will say it is already saving me time! So far I've looked up about 65 books and I was only unable to find ONE! This is is perfect for a first grade teacher who loves to teach children responsibility and one who has OCD (self diagnosed ;) )! I previously attempted to look up the levels of my personal library online (and add a pic of the cover), but it was taking me FOREVER! This is such a lifesaver!🙏

Love the idea!. I don't see any real issues that would keep someone from using this app. Maybe the other reviewers just don't understand how the app works. I love being able to scan books right into my library and I can't wait to be able to add my students and keep track of books they have. Yes, sometimes you have to search for books manually, but if you know how to use your phone or other device it's a piece of cake! I am hopeful in the future there will be a way to manually add books that I have that are not in the database.

Not bad.... A few flaws. This app is helpful, but I agree with many others that there needs to be a bigger database of books. Some of the ones I couldn't find here I found on the book wizard portion of the scholastic website but sadly neither of them have a large portion of the scholastic books in their database. Not sure why this is. Hopefully the system will get fixed soon. Is worth the money though for the time saved and the ability to add your library and the check in/ check out system. Oh, If you could add AR (Accelerated Reader)/ RC (Reading Counts) points to the system, that would be nice. :) Thanks!

Hoping it gets better with time. This app is a great idea but it's new and most of my books aren't available yet. I'm hoping it gets better with every version. This update made me lose the ability to add a book that is not in their database to my library. I liked being able to do that because even though it couldn't level it for me, I could check the book out. The loss of this function is very inconvenient since the database is small and this makes the app useless even for the check-out function.

Very helpful!. I love this app. I wish I had found it sooner. I can organize books by title, level and author. Not all books are scannable, especially older books, but I have found almost all of my books by manually searching. Not all books are listed with GLE, GR, and Lexile levels, but most have at least one of those and the app includes a conversion chart. I am able to enter a class roster with a reading level for each child and check out books to each of them. Much easier than my old sign out sheet!

Level It. I was so excited about this app until I tried to use it at work (school classroom). The app cannot be used there with the school wifi. If I had an unlimited data plan it wouldn't be an issue but I don't. So, if I want to use this app I have to bring the book home. It works with my wifi at home. Of course most if the books I scan aren't leveled yet, which has me searching for a DRA level on internet. When I emailed the customer care, they didn't seem to think it was a big deal to use my data for my books and wouldn't refund my money. If you do not have a strong internet connection, DO NOT BUY THIS APP!

Love this!. Yes, there are quirks. I love that I can create a roster for my class and check the books out to them. I also love that many of the books I couldn't level from other sources are leveled here. Totally worth the $5! Update: you can now put in how many copies of a book you have, you just can't do it from the scan page, you have to go into your library to do it. They seem to be updating all the time, so hopefully this will be a fix! To speak to the scanning...yes, the function doesn't work a lot of the time, but if you manually type in the name of the book it works almost every time.

Not so pleased with app administrators. When I purchased this app, after reading the reviews, I lowered my expectations. I did not assume that all or even most of the books I had in my classroom library would be in the database already leveled. I did assume however that as I added books and submitted levels that they would be added to the database...I figured this is how the library would be built and in due time, the catalogue would be more complete. I registered as a teacher, researched levels using scholastic book wizard, and began submitting. 3 weeks has gone by and not a one of the book levels that I submitted has been received. I also emailed with a couple questions and concerns and have heard nothing. I am concerned that the success of this app is not dependent on fellow teachers like me, painstaking logging books to help build the database but waiting on app administrators to utilize the wealth of teachers and information that they are volunteering. There are glitches (occasionally the wrong book cover comes up over and over). This is one of the glitches I emailed about. That said I have logged many books and intend to use the app to manage my take home library. Okay, but not, even with my low expectations, what i had hoped.

Clumsy unintuitive design. No export option. Disappointing.. especially for the price.

Recognizes almost no books. What a joke. Most books it can't find or there is no level. Waste of money

Not worth the money. I scanned 10 books to get the guided reading levels, none of them were listed in the app.

Can't log in!. It reminds me what my email is, then tells me to use a valid mail. So I purchased this and cannot log in. I'm getting another app, this one is useless. Save your money!

Solid so far...has tremendous potential. I bought this app early, having recognized its potential. I have begun building my classroom library of young adult novels, and I have been able to scan more than 40 books so far with only two hiccups; I had to manually search those two books by author--both of which did appear with the lexile level. I would like the capability of importing my class rosters via .csv file. What a time-saver that would be! Looking forward to using this during the school year.

Disappointing. I spent a significant amount of time at the library scanning books for my kindergartener, none of them was in the query.

Don’t buy it!!. App won’t scan any of the books. Entering them in manually is going to take ip so much time. A waste of 5 dollars don’t do it

Helpful App. Very helpful app when needing to level guided reading books. IMPROVEMENT suggestion: I am creating a "library" within this app, and it would be even better if I could "search" for a book title instead of having to scroll through the entire alphabet, and THEN scroll again through that actual letter to find my book. I am creating an excel spreadsheet to do this (double the work) in order to find books. Overall, however, this app has been a huge time-saver when leveling. Thank you for that!

Helpful for classroom library. This is a great app. It helps me organize my classroom library. I can check books out to kids by just scanning the books and check them in when they return them. It makes it seem very official. I don't us the levels as much as I used to, but it's nice to have them. The app's book database is the biggest obstacle I've come across so far. Many of the books I have aren't available in the app, and aren't able to be added manually.

Egregiously lacking for the $$$$$. I’m seriously disappointed for a $5 app. Do not expect much. The developer has LOTS to improve on and since this has been around for minimum two years, I’m not sure it will ever happen. If you’re looking for an app to offer a range of age-appropriate and new suggestions starting from Kindergarten, do not buy. If you’re looking for an app to help you conveniently convert your child’s school books across all genres to use the scale by which your child is assessed, do not buy this app. If you would like to filter your search by reading level or interest, do not buy this app. -Does it have an ISBN scanner? Yes. -Will the scanner find your book? 50/50 chance, higher if it’s a popular book publisher. -If the book is in the program’s database, will it convert your personal books’ levels for you? You have a 99% chance they do NOT have it already leveled, nor converted, in their database. -Does it have suggestions by grade level? The programmer has grouped K-1st together, then 2nd-3rd, then 4th-5th, then middle school, and lastly high school. As most people know, skill level by each grade varies remarkably. -How many suggestions in each category? About 20-25, they appear to be the popular stuff that every well-read parent already has in their personal library such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Corduroy, The Giving Tree, Charlotte’s Web, etc. -Who converts or levels the books? Who knows? Anyone who registers as a teacher can submit a rating or level. In summation, this app neither helped me level nor convert books I already have for my children and it also did not offer me any creative, new suggestions to help me to expand my children’s interests. If you still buy, just know the developer has made it where his/her paying customers can level/convert/rate the book if they want to do the developer’s job. If you’re a parent and an underpaid teacher like me, is your $5 worth it?

What a waste. Absolute waste of money. I wasn’t able to find any of the book levels that I needed.

Very Nice. I am a Grad student earning my teaching license, I have accumulated A LOT of books. This app is great! As I get books for my future classroom and work on assignments I can already have these books organized and see their levels. The only negative is that I cannot always see a few books. I scan, it tells me it is in the library and I check but nothing is there. One BIG suggestions: there should be a way to sync with an iPad! I do not want my phone out at all during the school day. I was already a victim of theft in a classroom and don't want to leave a phone out with all of my personal information for all to see. A sync with iPad would be great!

Not enough titles in database. Found 4 books in 20! Not worth the effort.

Love it!. I'm not sure what people were expecting from this app but I think it is great. It has its limits but so far I find it is an excellent way to organize my classroom library! I have so far scanned in about 50 books and most were in there with some kind o level and if not it still imported the book. If didn't have the level I was looking for I did a little research on my end and submitted the information. I believe it is designed to be a collaborative tool and will grow and get better with time. I am excited to see what features are added with time!

No help!. Have yet to find a book that is either in the database or is actually leveled. Wasted my money!

Awesome app!. This is the app of my dreams! I have logged in over 200 books and most were already in the system! I have submitted levels for the books that were not available. If I could make an improvement it would be that I could take a picture of a book cover, scan it and enter the fields myself for books not in the system. Then they could be added to the system or just kept private in my library. I also wish I could save levels that were missing and if the publisher thought another level was more appropriate they could override my temporarily inserted levels. That way all my fields could be filled in nice and neat!

It's ok. I am a middle school librarian and bought this app to evaluate before recommending it to my teachers and students. The scanner worked pretty well and that feature paired with the wish list could be really useful for some of my students. The recommended titles for middle school are relevant but dated. I plan to use the check-out feature for my personal collection and see how it could be really helpful in the classroom if the teacher had the time to keep up with it. Most of my students want to be able to search by Lexile because often that's the more important part of the reading assignment from the teacher's grading rubric, rather than finding a book that they really want to read.

Works fine for me!. I have been using this app for the past few months for a classroom library project as well as helping my school's library have a leveled collection. I have found that many of the books are here, and some are not to be fair. I have never had a problem with the scanner - either the book's levels are available or they are not. (And if they are not, there is an option for teachers to input this information.)

Ok, but needs some improvements. It's great for organizing the classroom library, but there are a few problems. First of all, many of my books aren't showing up. If there was a way to add the book with your own information, this would be helpful. Also, I have several copies of the same book in my library, but there is no way of reflecting that in the program. I would like to use this to keep track of who has which books, but can't do that when I can only scan in half of my library!

Buy if you want to donate $5. I’ve scanned over 20 books only 1 found. It’s useless.

Displeased. I don't like this app at all. I thought it would help me level my classroom library and it does not. Sorry but I hate it.
