Easy to use. Just started using this app and have enjoyed creating personalized photos. Not hard to navigate. Was able to create something I was happy with in the first few minutes of use. Can't wait to explore all the features.

Great at first, but text functionality is messy. I really like the simplicity of the app, and it is very slick looking. Unfortunately, working with the text is not that easy. Automatic text wrapping and resizing to fit the window would it a lot more user friendly (apologies if this is something that it can do, but if it does, it is unintuitive). Still, I will keep an eye on this; as slick as it is at first, I’m sure the developers will make it a lot better as time goes on.

Best new app. Love this app. So much fun especially because you can send $.99 postcards and they look awesome.

Quite cool.. I like this app quite a bit. The idea is unique and the ability to send your pictures as postcards is genious.

Applause!. I have used other visual poetry apps before but always found them hardly flexible in terms of adjusting text or editing photographs. This poetics app offers everything I need to explore my creativity to the fullest. It is not only fun to use, but also a revolutionary form of dialogue for people to treat each other to the wonder of words.

Weak. For skimmers: don't buy. You can only type one word at a time. Instagram would probably make for a better poetry app. No tools. No syllable count, no rhyme tool, no room, no lines, no community, zilch-o. I wish I could get me money back, mateys.

It's okay.. It kind of feels like a meshing of Instagram and Snapchat but with none of the social interaction. That being said, it's very sleek and does exactly what's stated in the description. I do wish that the text would maybe take some of the same appearance as the filters...sometimes it stands out far too much and takes away from the "visual poetry" so to speak.

Fun. This is a fun app. For future it could become more entertaining and useful if fonts, colors, and other variabilities were included. Adding a return key or ability to type longer phrases would be really useful. Regardless of these needed additions, it is a very useful app. Thanks for the creation.

Want my money back. This is such a stupid app, doesn't solve any purpose. You can only type 11 words and then you have to type them again and again and then arrange them all in one sequence and align them. Such a headache. Can't see how this works for posting on social media. Apps are meant to help make it easy for you and not make ur work hard. Stay away from it unless u have a dyslexic child and want to teach him how to arrange words and sentences in order.

Tips. I would recommend making the text box of the word able to increase in length and size the word can hold. Overall I love it! It'll help with my short poems!

Dislike. Dislike that to write an entire poem I have to constantly stop to adjust the words. It would nice to just be able to continue typing.

Great except one flaw. I'm really liking Phoetics. To be fair, it's really short on features and options. It uses one font and background color for the text. But you can resize the text and move it and reorient it. So what it does it does well. What I HATE is that to add the "Phoetics" you have to crop it to ONE RATIO of 16x9 and ruin whatever you had it cropped to before, like a square! Makes it very hard for Instagramor anything else. Developers: please just make one change! Remove this crop! Don't force us to crop, just let us add it to the image in whatever shape we want! Thank you.

Looks really awesome until it crashes :(. Crashes constantly on my iphone 4. Lets me edit and apply effects and when done it shows the results then crashes losing all edits :( Looks very interesting, only wished it worked.

Decent. Decent enough but could really be maximized with a more fonts and a rotate picture ability

Amazing App. Idk why this app is not popular. it's simple to use, it enables me to create great pics. it still needs other editing features but i like it :)

Fun play time for adults!. A very fun app. Wish I could change font types, otherwise all around fun time for playing around with graphics and words.

Awesome except for crash bf sending postcard. I love this app as an outlet for creativity but it always crashes right before I'm about to send a postcard and it's so frustrating

Praying for more features soon 😍. Love this app so far! I have such a blast with it, but my only criticism is I think it would be 100x better if they allowed different font or text styles....praying for that to happen soon!!

Pretty cool. This app is like post secret meets poetry meets photography- taken to the next level. I think it's super cool and a unique way to create things for, let's say, a poetic Instagram account. A+++

Like fridge poetry + picture. I love this simple app. I thought it was gone because for some reason it wasn’t amongst my apps. Just by chance someone in our digital artist group used it and I said “what???” Love having it back and it remembered I had already downloaded the in-app purchase! Thanks for keeping this up.

A Rare Gem!. Highly polished (this is version 1.0?) app that encourages the feelings of unbound exploration we all experienced the first time we saw and then started fiddling with those poetry refrigerator magnets at someone's house. Well done! An ideal and fun app to share with kids and adults alike.

Love.... I love this app. I have used it with my friends and with students. We created autobiographies and the students enjoyed using this app. It is easy to use and allows them to use technology in their lessons. Fantastic!

Not working. The app doesnt open .... I tried several times deleting it and reinstalling it on my phone or either turning off my phone and turning it back on and it still doesnt solve the problem . 😞please fix this.

Love !!. It's easy to use, fun and sleek! Maybe for a future update if there's a way one could change the font... One day I might be feeling more "script", another more "helvetica"...;)

Awesome. Great for use with short blogging like on tumblr etc. Totally recommend for fun small edits with your own thoughts. Very similar to Instagram and picstitch but more modern.

Fun with fonts.. Adding fonts to your poetic is pretty neat. I just wish there was a broader selection of type faces but this is definitely a neat addition to an already great app.

Custom postcards from your phone!. I love the ability to move words around, and get crazy creative with the images, but what really brings this home is the ability to send a postcard right from my phone. I might get addicted to this!

Poetics. Poetics is simple and thus a joy to use. It's not a game, or a utility, it's a fluid way to explore relationships between photography and language, at least for me.

Need don't choices. I love the idea of this app, and the ability to and postcards is great. However, I would love to see some font choices, as well as the choice to use text without the "label." If it had that, it would be a 5 star app!

Simple And Lovely. Find the right image and let the words flow. Great little App for applying a feeling or lyrical thought to a photo. This is not about how many fonts this app has, it's about pure thought and splashing it onto a photo, and letting it naturally fall into the pix. Think of refrigerator magnets for your photos. You can position words or sentences in any direction 360 degrees, and also resize them easily. This app has reinvented the photo caption, and no two captions are ever the same! Thumbs up!

Favorite Photo App. Top photo app and top 5 apps I use daily. It's so fun to elaborate on my pics with creative text. I'm no poet, but am learning now that I have poetics! My favorite thing is sharing with my friends via twitter and Instagram! Five bright stars!

Too much fun!. This is a fun app to use! I really like the concept. It has me going thru my pics to see what I can play with. Just one small snafu- it keeps crashing on the one pic I have. Works on all others so far.

Great App. This is app is really artsy and easy to use. I'm writing this after using it once. It was just that simple to use.

Words and Pictures. Although there are other apps that allow you to add text to photos, with this app you feel like your cutting up words typed on paper and making a visual art collage reminiscent of the early cubist painters. I had some crashing issues after I first downloaded the app on my 6 plus but an uninstall and reinstall seemed to have fixed that issue. Kudos to the devs for responding to my support question so quickly (a little over an hour).I think this is an app for some serious artistic creations or for some not so serious fun. Thanks.

Surprise feature. I know that it's not technically what this app is for, but I use it to create iPhone wallpapers with my photos. I crop them and after editing the photos with the app I take a screenshot of it when the photo covers the whole phone. The results are good. It's a decent photo editor and you can move the text around and add it. I'm not much of a text person but this app has a surprising purpose for me.

Fun app. I use this to capture a sentimental mood in my pictures and use as my lock screen. Some might find one block font limiting but I actually find that it makes the app more useful. Instead of fussing around with typeset, I'm looking for precision in word choice.

Not good. It makes you crop your photo in the weirdest most inconvenient way and there's not a lot of flexibility or customization.

Disappointing. Text font, size, colour are not customizable; it's too big and chunky. I agree with previous commenter the cropping is odd. I see potential, but nothing I want right now.

Simple app/lpoor quality. You Would think for such a simple app there would be more in terms of quality assuranxe. however is that for years now and basis and it was always at least one or two but I would consider showstoppers eg it’s currently has an issue right now with the spelling mistakes, it freezes up if you use rhe replace optoon Prior this saved in messenger is broken for (I just seen screenshots of around it but my point being is a company I will never do business with due to the lack of quality basically yes its free but you get what you pay for. Its obvious they dont even test the code. Also this whole “OOO poetry” makes no sense. Its just an app that has defects. Its not like anyone has split the atom here or anything.

Would like to love it but... It crashes every time I tap the text button. I'm on an iPhone 6+

Post to Instagram...not really!. 11-17-17...wish you would update with just the ability to control aspect ration and image size, don’t change anything else :-) Really, it's a great app. However, if your intended final share location is Instagram, you cannot work with a square aspect ratio until after you have made your creation and then you have to zoom and crop out a percentage of your work. But still, a great app but I gave it a low score due to the restricted aspect ratio.

Why?!?. I had that app and it WAS amazing, but I had to erase all my data a while ago and this app is no long for the iPad. So I can't use this amazing app because of that. Please put poetics give back for the iPad.
