Nostalgia. Nostalgia is awesome!

Better than most 8-bit cameras.... But if you didn't get it on sale...you got ripped off.

Great design, great fun!. This is a fun photo app. The interface design is simple, sleek, and easy to figure out. The sound effects are a nice touch as is the ability to not only apply filters to photos you are snapping, but also apply the filters to photos in your library. Overall a really enjoyable app. Sheng Long approved.

Can’t restore my purchases. You click the restore button and nothing happens.

8-Bit Everything!. Pretty fun app, I paid more for the SNES/Sega filters, they're much better than the stock ones. The interface is great with clever names and sounds and it's great that you can filter photos from your photo library. Also they made a Wii filter that's basically your regular camera hahaha worthless but whatever. This app is great for all of your 8-Bit needs, just spend the money and buy it

Don't waste your time. Nothing works about this app, no kidding. And blocked when attempting to email the developer? This has petty con job written all over it.

Nifty!. Fun 8-bit photos. It made my kids giggle and I love the sounds! I will use this to make a new profile pic for Facebook.

Nostalgia and Pixels. Love the ability to save photos like my favorite consoles of yore! I wish it would remember my contrast and saturation settings between each relaunch. I love that I can apply it to photos I have already taken. The easter eggs are fun too, nice touch.

Not as advertised.. This is a really cool app, but the photos the use to advertise the app are not the default filters. You have to purchase them in the app. The filter that come standard are very washed out and terrible, and not in the intended way. Just beware that you'll need to pay more to get the "better" retro looking filters.

Fantastic!. This app is great. I love the real time filters and the user interface is aesthetically pleasing to my inner retro-nerd!

Takes me back. This app brings me back to those halcyon, pixelated days trying to rescue the princess, only to find she was in another castle. Anyway, this is super fun.

Dedicated work to it’s Source. The level of work placed into this is stellar!, for any one that appreciates video game aesthetics this app appreciates it quite well. Plus the sound effects are really cool when using it. I was cruel to it at first, where I thought that each filter looked the same, but after a leap of faith and buying them all I did notice a huge difference, so hats off to you developers, and I hope to see more from you soon.

It’s a SUPER game boy camera. An oldie but a goodie, this camera app fill a nostalgic gap. I still have my game boy camera…but now I can imagine what would’ve happened if we strapped a lens on a TG-16!

Mayor of pixel town. The only thing that makes internet cat photos better is pixelating them to match my favorite old video game systems. Thanks for making this!

So awesome. This app is awesome. On top of how insanely cool it is to make photos straight out of an old school video game, it also has an excellent overall design and user interface. Really well crafted.

Great effects and UI. Does what it promises, with visual effects specific to the systems it emulates (Genesis, SNES, NES, etc.). No lame watermarks, and a cool UI with nice sound effects, make this app a winner.

8 bit goodness. Great easy to use app that allows us to take some creative pictures. The GUI is very well made and the filters are solid.

Really FUN!. This is a really fun photo app that produces some very cool pics! Even if you don't remember these old school systems, you'll have a blast playing around with it.

Neat trick. Cool little app with some 8-bit heart, choosing the different system palettes is a nice touch. Would like to see different levels of pixelization, or possibly system-specific resolutions/ratios for added authenticity :-)

good one.. I was at the edge. I was very close to doing it. I don't know how it happened, but something drew me back. Pulled me away from that dark, endless nothingness. It wasn't an iPhone app that saved me, it was something more than that. Love? Family? Brotherhood? Community? Self-awareness? Maybe. But this photo app is pretty fun.

Best photo filter for retro systems. Amazing and breathtaking

Not fully developed. This app has so much potential but alas poor execution. It won't allow you to save your pictures, it doesn't tell you the prices of the other gaming system filters nor does it give you examples of what they look like... Maybe there's another version of this or maybe the developer just didn't have time to fully develop this app.

Nice idea, pretty much broken. Doesn't seem to save pictures, converting existing pictures doesn't work and doesn't save settings, so the sounds (which are annoying) keep turning themselves back on. Would be a fun app, but at the moment it's broken

Fun app, but doesn't save photos. Either I'm missing something or the app isn't compatible with iOS 7. You can "take" photos but they're not saved anywhere. Looking in the app's photos section it always says "No photos taken". This kinda makes it useless.

Mildly amusing.... If you're from the good ol' 8-bit generation (or earlier; I did very much enjoy my Atari games I played on my super cool Gemini system), then you'll likely get some genuine smiles from taking selfies and other miscellaneous pictures with this app. Supports both front and rear cameras. Note: I almost immediately managed to unlock one of the hidden systems... The "Fammy" (as it's named on this app). Not gonna just give the instructions up but, if you're an old gamer as I am, it shouldn't be too difficult to figure it out. Hint: "Contra(ry)" to popular belief. ;-)
