Works Great. This app works nearly perfectly. However, I found one small bug. If you put a number to too high of a power, everything goes wonky. I get zeros, random symbols, and crazy numbers. Its only a small issue, and other than that the app works great.

5 stars. Simply because It’s free and it works

Fantastic. A great tool to have on hand for learning as well as coding on the go. The interface takes a little getting use to, but makes it incredibly efficient after a while.

Auto-complete is fair. Two of my most frequently used apps (pythoni3.3 and Tiny Piano) give u bonuses for "rating" them. They REQUEST a five-star review, but you can give a one-star review (or none at all) and still get the auto-complete feature. I gave this app only four stars for the following reason: even though I do not use Python 2.7, this app suffers from the same problem as his other app (which features Python 3.3, and which I use all the time) - swiping left should move the screen right, not left! Although I've gotten used to it, I still think this should be changed. Also, just a minor annoyance: please fix the SQLite module. Whenever I type "import sqlite3", I get an error stating that the app can't import "_sqlite3" <- IDK where the underscore comes from Overall, however, great app! Very helpful for writing scripts/playing around/doing my HW for me :)

Great app, could use a few tweaks.. I use this for when I can't get to my laptop and want to catch up on my python tutorials. It's a great app, but It does make you give it five stars in order to access auto complete. Overall, I would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars

Great learning tool. This is perfect for all those idle times that you aren't at your computer, especially for those learning python. I have not had any problems or complaints, it has worked as expected giving expected outputs. This app is getting better and better!!

Getting really good. I'm giving this 5 stars because of the progress it is making. The first time I used it, it was clunky and awkward but the only free python app. Since then, absolutely every issue I had with it has been fixed. I hope the developer keeps this momentum up. This is a must have for scripters everywhere!

Cool!. At first, this app may look weird because of its sample pictures having an odd blue background, but this along with the word colors can be changed in the settings. I am also pleased that there seems to be no error other than programmer error during execution and there are helpful keys to make putting in "=" and ">" etc. a little less difficult. Has a pretty user-friendly interface and auto save! I like it a lot but I don't think there needs to be a pop-up telling us to rate it, otherwise nice job! Keep improving and thanks for reading!

Great.. I give it 5 stars because it's Friday and I'm in a good mood. I wanted to try python app because it's free.

Great App. Works well, even for a beginner learning Python. I can test scripts on the go, and make sure they work for when I implement them on the computer. It could be translated a bit better, but other than that, it's very well done.

great app. I just started programming in python and this app allows me to take my work away from the computer... it's not all the way perfect but it is very usable... turn off your auto caps in the phone settings first though.. it is a nifty app to have if you're learning

Best app in the whole store :). Seriously, without direct IO filesystem access I dont know how this app could get any better. The ads are tasteful & sufficiently inobtrusive not to take away from the joys of this handy little python tool for on the go programming. It's a lot more fun & more useful than any other app I've tried

Learning Python. This app is loaded with features. I'm glad I can learn Python without having to be on my computer. The keyboard is great. Sometimes the tutorials could be more clearly written and styled, but once I understood the interface it was seamless to follow along. I'm very glad I have this in my pocket.

Good app, but kind of dishonest. As soon as I sent in my review, which was a genuine five-star rating, I realized that I had gained a new Autocomplete feature. After checking the other reviews, I realized that the app eventually bribes you for the autocomplete feature in exchange for a 5 star review. Frankly, I agree with the others here who say that it is underhanded and dishonest. That should not be a requirement and it skews the app store's rating system. What if more developers start doing this? What would be the point of a rating system then? I stand by my description of the app, but if I had known, then my original rating would have been much lower. What a shame.

I've just downloaded this app.... I'm new to this app and to python. Will report on what I find – and modify my ratings – as I go. Still 5 stars. Nice tutorial. It's taken me 2 weeks of concentrated study and worry (worrying if my brain still works), but now I know my brain still works, and I'm learning Python.... Glory be. BTW, I have no laptop. I'm doing all this learning entirely just only on the iPhone. What a blast! What I have found most useful in order of importance is pythonista, pythoni, pythoni2.7, pythoni 2.7. I've thrown away all the other apps I bought. Pythonista costs $6, but it's worth it. I wouldn't start with Pythonista. I needed the other apps to get started. As for books, I found the paper copy of "Dive into Python" most useful. -- 76 year old codger P.S. I have no monetary interest in any of these apps or book.

Great App. I just started learning Python, but this app does everything I need it to do. I agree with a reviewer below, that the app could really use a split screen or, better yet, some button that let's you toggle back in forth quickly between documentation/help/tutorials etc. in the app and, perhaps, online as well. If you already know your stuff, though, and dont need to look at examples constantly, it seems to be a pretty good app. And to the user who gave a low star rating, complaining about not being able to find the script area for coding, its really not that hard. Click the second tab and touch the blank area. A keyboard pops up, you type, you execute. Done. Dont bring down the average because of 'user error'. That's not cool, man.

So far so good.. Being able to learn the language and scribe at the same time is very helpful.

I like it.. It IS coded to bug you about rating, but hell, just rate it. It's worth it.

Nice. Ok it is good but where is the data?

Not perfect but very good. In combination with project Euler this is the perfect app for long flights! I like the additional special characters frequently used in programming and the tutorials are ok, too. Just remember that you can switch between apps by swiping 5 fingers, for example text editor or project Euler PDF.

Used to run without ads so I could jump back and forth from the reference material to the interpreter to try things, but the ad bar on the bottom prevents this. Now wants"gold" to rid myself of the ads. Grrrr. Trying to learn Python, thought it would work well, and now I have to be part of the fully monetized app after paying for it to rid myself of the free app experience.

Perfect & convenient. This program is excellent in that I'm at a cafe, running some (pretty basic) computer programs in Python. The In-app purchases are just ads really, so they aren't intrusive. I'm actually reading several basic books about programming languages and presently I'm doing lessons from a basic "Programming for Python" PDF tutorial I found online. So without having to set up virtual Linux servers or any of that palava, I got going, for no $ outlay straight off the bat. The program goes into much more detail, but I'm not there yet. Well done!

Excellent app. For any coders out there that have learnt and use python, this app will just complete their python arsenal. It has a great layout and if you want to learn or ever need revision the app has a built in learn function. Overall, this is an amazing app and I think everyone that has it would highly recommend it.

Not worth the time... The User Interface is painful and the Chinese characters are very distracting. Interacting with it is just frustrating. If you want a good Python compiler, I strongly recommend spending the $0.99 or $1.99 on another..

Super helpful. I'm a game programming student and while at work I can now do my python work without having to worry about bringing my computer.

Beware! 5-star reviews unlock features. Shame on this developer. It's a very poorly designed app with no actual tutorial or teaching functionality. What it contains is a library of ill-formatted and half-English/half-Chinese text documents (mostly useless) and a compiler (mostly useful). All of these reviews are 5 stars only because they promise to unlock features if you leave such a review.

Learning on the Go. I am learning Python and having an app at my disposal is highly convenient for the learning process. I recommend this app to anyone out there.

Autocomplete. App asks you to give 5 stars in order to get the auto complete feature. Testing to see if they can see this response. Result: 5 star not required in order to get the feature.

One thing.. So I'm using this as a calculator in Algebra. But, whenever I use division for whatever reason it will not put the number into decimal form. Instead it gives me how many times the number can go into the other number.

VoiceOver compatible!. Great learning app too bad microsoft could not do this well on any version of windows or development tools for windows

What! You are so stupid. The only reason raw input and input functions don't work is because the iPhone ( not the app) doesn't support choice boxes. Other than that , it's a great app!!!!!!💩💩💩💩💩whoever said that is stupid.......

Doesn't work!!!. I was working on python, and I thought that it would be cool to have an app on my iPad to use it. Turns out that it is a very bad program. I am disappointed that it didn't carry out even the most basic of commands. It cannot ask for input, nor can it add or subtract. The things that I have been learning, in a video can't be used on here. I am sad that I bought it.

Really cool!. I think this app's brilliant. Its appealing, the controls and settings are fully user defined, it's really nice and versatile, but most of all, it's really REALLY stable. Whoever did this, you did yourself proud.

Pretty cool. It's really handy except I would prefer them not asking for a review every time you test your coding skills. The only reason I wrote this is because they kept spamming me with a "please rate" message. Aside from that it's pretty cool.

This is really awsome. This is an ok program but they should add a few more things 1. A demo 2.a better start Other wise it's pretty good I would recommend it.

Bit confusing at first, solid after learning. It's a but confusing as far as set up at first but once you learn where everything is it is much like any other IDE for Python. Good for on the fly scripting.

So far so good.... Want autocomplete--or at least for the pop up to go away, so there's the main reason for the five stars. We'll see if it lived up to it.

Great App but bad Marketing. This in my opinion is a great app with a well made tutorial and UI layout, but what ruins it is how I've learned through the comments how the app bribes you into giving it a five star rating for the auto-correct feature and no matter how good the app is I simply can't stand these types of underhanded marketing tactics being used in apps.
