Missing functionality. Can’t use gift card to pay for order, cmon it’s (current year), gift card integration is essential

Not Good. A tire search for my car, useless. Previous CT Website search engines worked well. Time to go back to the store. Setting up the account, no luck. Unable to input rewards info. Kept sending verification emails. I have several other store apps. Plain, straight forward. DELETED!

Online order failed. Wanted to order then no way to check out

Canadian Tire-Owen Sound. Canadian Tire Owen Sound is a great well managed store. Lots of inventory, great, friendly staff. They have competitive pricing and C.T. Bucks accumulate with every purchase in store or at the gas bar.

Best price & Good quality. Best place in Canada to get all your needs.

Shows store is closed while I stare at the open doors!. Even looking at the store hours shows it being open, but shows the store closed. Dumb app.

App Shopping. I find the App very resourceful. I think of something I need and I go to the app to find ideas for the product I’m interested in. It is easy to order from and pay. Really enjoying it!

Triangle app not available on US app store. Still waiting for the triangle app to be available on the US app store like the ctc app is.

A terrible update Sep 2019. What was an excellent app is no more. The newest update brings vacant white space, digging through menus to find things, and thumbnails of offers so distorted it takes you back to the early 90’s. Please undo the changes. Bring back the excellent app that we’ve had all along

Oh yeah, I need this…. Great app for online/store pickup ordering or for determining prices or when something you need is in or out of stock. It also helps by telling you in what aisle the item is located, but the app does not seem to work inside the store, so I can’t access previous order imformation.

Great customer service and sense of community. Will always check CTC prior to going to its competitors. Love the tools and return policies for replacement

Unreliable. My favourite list is down all the time! Thus latest time is now 2 weeks, very annoying as I want yo know when things in my list are on sale! Please fix it!!

Does not rotate on iPad. I use my ipas on a stand in landscape mode almost exclusively. This app cannot operate in that mode forcing me to either work sideways which is not practical or stop using the stand which is practical either. Deleted the app.

Needs an update, Wishlist is blank. Issue where items in Wishlist are not shown. Please investigate, I’m signed in with items I’ve save previously but the Wishlight is shown as blank, “the Wishlist is down for maintenance”. I’ve had this issue for a few weeks now.

Much improved. Thanks for finally listening to your users and letting us remain logged in. In-store wi-fi is a nice complement to the app.

Can’t sign up. Terrible app. I’m sent on endless loops of signing up, responding to email, signing in, invalid email, locked account. I still can’t access CDN Tire and I have an order waiting for pick-up. I’m deleting the app and shopping somewhere else from now on.

Not very usable anymore. Since the last update browsing is a waste of time. Seems to be a search based app only. When I go into a category now it’ll show me 700 items of all different types without any way to search further. The old app was way better.

Poor Performance & Wishlist. I’ve been using this app for a while now but never have I ever seen months long Wishlist maintenance error. Canadian Tire should spend some money fixing these bugs or don’t bother asking for reviews or feedback.

Apple Pay is the bomb. You gotta Love Apple pay just one click and its done . Awesome app it’s a great app for finding out if the store has what you are looking for. It tells you what isle it’s in and how many they have .

Love the app but…. It needs some bugs addressed. My wish list isn’t showing. It’s been months that every time I tried to see my wish list, it says that there’s a maintenance. For arguments sake, my app is always up to date.

iPhone only?. Why isn’t there a tablet mode with landscape

Portrait vs landscape. The app does not allow a landscape view on my new iPad. Please make this upgrade.

Redeem Rewards?. With the lockdown in effect and curb side pick up as pretty much the only option, it’s strange that there’s still no ability to redeem the Triangle Rewards through this app!

Rewards points. The fact that Canadian tire switched from paper CT ‘money’ to an electronic rewards systemy years ago now, but the rewards can’t be redeemed online is a little ridiculous. Especially during a global pandemic where we’ve experienced multiple shut downs where online shopping for curbside pickup or home delivery is literally the only way to shop at the store, not to mention so many people being out of work that could really benefit from using their points instead of their credit card right now.

Still doesnt flip to reflect orientation of an iPad. I have submitted feedback several times about this app not orienting itself properly to landscape position on my iPad. All my other apps do this no problem, just not this app which only opens in a sideways on my iPad, meaning I cant use my keyboard case. By extension, this doesnt inspire confidence with this company and the security of my information. CT, are you even reading these reviews?

Half baked app!!. Do you guys even test your app before releasing it?? I doubt it, you can not add anything to your wish list, app is slow and buggy, I really want to see your UX design team, you guys either don’t care or have a horrible management team that allows you to release such a nightmare to public!! It’s shameful for such a big company!!

Forced App Update, what could go wrong?!. Like others have mentioned, the wish list is gone! Hey developers, next time you force your customers to update your app before using it; how about you make absolutely sure, beyond all reasonable doubt, that your code actually works? Tell your managers the customers are tired of being beta-testers.

Not iPad oriented. I am very surprised to see that this app does not have iPad in mind given that the iPad is not a new device. A simply fix to allow the application UI to be in horizontal orientation is a must. Please fix. This a great app I use in store and on my iPhone with ease, but surfing on my iPad is 👎

Where my wish list. Last update deleted my wish list. The wish list is still an option at the bottom of the page but there isn’t an option to add anything to the wish list anymore. This rating is due to the last update only as I am unable to keep anything in a wish list. Find myself not looking at Canadian Tire as much since this glitch or unknown change occurred. Contacted after this review and notified that a newer update should be correcting this issue. New update appeared and downloaded. Issue still an issue; not corrected.

App crashes on iPhone 8. On every open and after several reinstalls the app just crashes.

Preview of flyer links. For at least the last three weeks the item links the flyer preview emailed on Wednesday’s no longer work. Have to copy item number and open app to view items… Please correct this.

Broken app. I liked this app in the past, but it looks like it has been broken now for several months... doesn’t allow to login, useless search results no wish list anymore... I am giving up.

Store in my Town. This store is not stocked well under current owner

App is junk. Frequently fails to load properly.

It alright. Usually the app works pretty well, however one complain I have is I can’t delete the items in my wish list. They automatically show up a few seconds after deleting

Useless. Looking for a hammock, i search hammock in the app and it gives me 44235 results and none of them are actual hammocks just car batteries and helmets. Go to “refine” to chose outdoor living, lounge, and hammocks but that does absolutely nothing i mean literally nothing happens. Completely useless app.

Lots of bugs. The wish list constantly glitches and doesnt show when your saved items are on sale.

Useless app. After almost 2 months if not longer than that, it’s still glitching!! Can’t still access the wish list. And don’t answer me with your famous answer “ We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues. We'd like to hear more, in order to improve! Please email us through the app (Account tab>Need Help > Help and Contact) and we'll be in touch to help!” because that too doesn’t work!! I have contacted by email and they always say the same thing! Can’t answer because of confidentiality issues blah blah blah… Come on Canadian Tire! You can do better than that!!!

Rarely works Properly. Needs an update. Cart is hit and miss at best. Come on. It’s 2023

Forever broken app. For YEARS this app has been broken. Flyer randomly closes app. Wishlist doesn’t work. Items don’t appear on which list when it does work. Duplicate items that can’t be removed. Forced to re-sign in on every other usage. Doesn’t recognize sign in info. “Looks like We’re dealing with an issue please try again later”. Can’t sign in at all. Then they have the gall to ask to review the app every second usage. NO I’m not enjoying it. Here’s why. And I get a copy paste reply email saying to call their customer service to speak to a mush mouthed goof who doesn’t know or care about the problems. I hate this app and evidently so does Canadian Tire because they won’t fix the damned thing. Maybe focus on creating a functional app without mining so much stinking data from the users that the app can’t function.

Add landscape mode please!. What an odd app. I cannot view anything in landscape mode. So I have to detach my iPad keyboard and hike the iPad off the table, turn it into a portrait position so shop. Please add this feature so we can continue to use the app without taking everything apart.

Used to be the very best shopping app. But now there are several issues with it; the sale items do not show on top anymore, prices do not display on all wishlist items. Also I don't get the sale alerts by email like I used to. I have talked to your people but they were unable to help me as well. The app needs an update, please investigate!

Very helpful app but very buggy.. The app is great for finding what you want and saving it to a wish list when it works. Haven been able to load my wish lift for the past 2 months. This app has lots of issues when it doesn’t want to load something in. If had the app for 3 years now and have had an issue 50% of the time when trying to look something up or do stuff in the app

Broken built. Can't login, keeps getting an error screen even after resting password.

Fix the app — it is DEFINITELY affecting business. Good grief Canadian Tire — FIX the app! It IS affecting profits, I assure you. For many weeks now the app says “it appears we’re dealing with an issue”, and wishlist is unavailable “under maintenance”. I’ve been shopping at Home Hardware instead, since my CT wishlist has been m.i.a 🤦‍♀️

Wish List now useless. The app is getting real good, lots of good things. However for months now my beloved Wish List is useless. Getting to that section gets me only 2-3 items, even though I should have 12-13 items of my wish actively on Sale at any given time... It just won't show them anymore! What else is the app hiding?? Emails to Support went unanswered... Don't know what to do guys!?!

No landscape mode on iPad. It’s a good app, but not really usable on iPad. I don’t use my iPad in portrait mode.

Landscape mode would be nice to be compatible with iPad keyboard. The app is fine, but when I tried using it with my iPad Pro, I had to take my iPad off the keyboard to use it, as the screen is sideways. IKEA app for instance, works when the iPad is on the keyboard stand. Except for this the app is fine. But probably won’t use it on my iPad as typing on it without an external keyboard is too slow and cumbersome.

Wish list not working for over a month!. The wish list is not working. I have deleted the app and redownloaded still not working. This is annoying. When I open the app a yellow bar shows saying techinical difficulties and then when I click on wish list it says it’s under maintenance. Come back later

Aps won’t open since update 15.2. The aps no longer opens on my iPhone 7 since the update 15.2?

Why?. Why is this app only in portrait mode on an iPad? I’m deleting it and will use the website instead.

“Wishlist is down for maintenance” for extended period. Unable to access Wishlist since downloading this app. An error code appears stating “Wishlist is down for maintenance”, apparently indefinitely.

Layout. Nice if this app was landscape compatible. Shop on the IPad most of the time and it’s frustrating to spin the iPad vertical cause this app hasn’t been updated to swivel one way or the other.

The search needs refining. The search is great because it tells you which isle the product is in however when I search and try to specify what I’m looking for with two words I get OR’d results meaning results from both words.
