Needs to be updated. This was a great app when it was updated along with Weeks Dye Works, GAST, and Crescent Colors. The last three apps are no longer compatible with my phone because they have not been updated, so a waste of money. Please update!

Future feature?. I like this app,it is easy to use and the fact that DMC inventory is divided into smaller, more easily searchable groupings is a plus. However, it really needs some sort of data transfer function, either via the iCloud or iTunes so that it can be available on more than one device.

Add DMC wool. I like the app but would like it better if I could choose the 390+ DMC tapestry wool colors.

Needs a search function for adding floss to inventory. This app is pretty bare bones, but get the job done. My main complaint is that adding floss is cumbersome. I’m constantly scrolling to update quantities and would much prefer a search function to locate the floss. This would be a big time saver.

Perfect for inventory and shopping list!. I absolutely LOVE this app. It keeps me so organized and prevents accidental duplicate floss purchases. I also adore the shopping list feature. I can only hope the developer will keep updating the inventory list as DMC releases additional colors.

Need a way to save info. Wish there was some kind of account so info is always available. Recently had to get a new phone and I had to input entire stash again.

My favorite App!!. If you do cross stitch or embroidery, you need this app!!! New version is fantastic! I really liked XStitcher before, but am very impressed with this update! Very easy to use and so convenient to have my floss list at hand when needed. The color search feature is so useful for doing an original project and I am not sure of exactly which shade of green I want to use!!! This feature lets me see all of my options rather than have to scan through the list or search through my own floss. Now I have no excuse for buying duplicate floss when not needed!!! Well worth the cost and more!!!!

Love this app.. I've been using this app for years and love it- but please update it! I can no longer add projects consistently. However, it's still great for keeping track of the stash.

Good, but.... I really like this app over the other options out there but can they update this app with the new dmc releases?!? It would be nice to enter in my new thread into my inventory.

How to add shopping list. I love how easy it is to store and view inventory. However I have no idea how to add floss to a shopping list and there’s no help available. Can anyone assist? Money down the drain if this feature doesn’t work.

Have been waiting for a program like this since I got my touch. Although this program is simple and only has DMC floss, it is well worth the 1.99. You just select a group of floss numbers, open it, then scroll to the DMC number and check it. Now I can stop buying multiples of the floss I have and get the floss I don't have. This will easily save me the money spent for the app. Would love to see more features, such as fabric, other lines of floss, projects and I would pay more for a program like that.

Pretty great app. I love this app! It keeps track of all my floss so if I’m ever wondering if I need to purchase something all I have to do is look at my iPhone. The only problem is, it doesn’t back up so when there is an update to the iPhone you lose all your info and have to input it again. Please fix this problem! If the iPhone can’t back it up, please make it so the data can be sent to drop box!

Easy to use but lacking. Nice app and seems simple enough to use. Haven't been thru all the colors yet so cannot speak as to whether colors are missing. What I WOULD like is the ability to enter quantities of floss needed for the shopping list, preferably by project. Ideally, when looking at a project would like to be able to see not only quantity on hand for each color, but also quantity needed. And to be REALLY cool it would be great if we have a quantity of a color and could allocate it to specific projects (i.e. if I have 2 of color #310, I could say that's "in reserve" for Project A, but Project B needs 3 more skeins of that color). To be fair, this is the better of the available apps I could find to keep track of DMC floss. I'd just LOVE to have a One-Stop-Shopping application to track various brands of fibers all in one place, preferably with the ability to add our own because colors are added/discontinued all the time it seems. THAT to me would be well worth a heftier price tag.

Yes!. (I still can't believe DMC hasn't offered this functionality as a free app) I've been searching for exactly this for over a year. I'm really happy, I already have all my solid colors entered - it's so easy. No more buying duplicates at the next big sale! Having the shopping cart is great - what a time-saver. Being able to search by color is wonderful (now if I just knew what to call some of the groups of colors...). Since I don't use Anchor, I don't care about conversions. I do use a lot of Perle cotton, in case the developer is looking for upgrade ideas. Now to convince WDW & GAST to offer the same app!

Confused. There are no instructions and it’s not as straightforward as it seems. No settings, no help feature. Three of the six menu options all take me to “My Stash” instead of what the button says. I am so confused as to how to actually use what could be the best app I’ve ever purchased. I was stoked to give this a try, but honestly I just want my $2 back. Great idea, however I’m going back to lists on napkins. Sorry 😕

Love this app so far.. I wish I could print my stash list. If I could do this I would give this app 5 stars.

Keeps me organized!. I use this app to keep track of thread inventory for my small business. It has saved me so much time to have the info handy on my phone for shopping or answering customer questions!

Love app but ready for update. So far best app but 1-35 need to be added . Color updates are needed .

Inventory & shopping list issues persist. This app is a waste of money. See previous reviews by other users about the issues when adding colors you have to the shopping list. There’s also no way to remove a color from the shopping list, even if you set the quantity needed to 0.

Update suggestion. I really appreciate this app. A couple ideas for the next update: 1. Allow for putting in a partial amount of a skein in the system—like 0.2. As of now if I do that it changes it to 0 once I navigate out of that part of the app. 2. Add a way to quickly look at which project(s) the color is currently being used in. So far I haven’t figured out a way to do that. Thanks for this great tool otherwise!

Not impressed. I understand that this is a basic app to keep you from purchasing multiple of the same floss but...really? I had a floss in my hand and flew past it because what was on the screen was not what I had in my hand. It was blue, but no where near the correct shade. I was hoping to be able to use this app to compare what I have at home with what they have here locally for random fun projects. My only local option is pretty incomplete. I do like the shopping list option but it would be helpful to be able to make more than one list if you're shopping for more than one project at a time. Useful app overall but I am VERY disappointed with the colors.

Nice tool to know what DMC I have/don’t.. This is a nice tool to keep track of my DMC threads for cross stitching. I would love to see DMC Mouline Etoile colors added to the chart though. Hopefully they’ll be added in an update!

Don’t buy. This app is crap. Everything just adds to the shopping list. It appears that you are able to create a list of your current inventory/collection of floss but as I add the colors I have, it also adds to my shopping list. How is this helpful?! I the whole point is to see what I have and what I need and it ends up putting the haves and needs in the same list!!! This was a complete waste of money.

Matcher. The matcher is not working. And it would be nice if you could add a retired floss in. Because now I won’t know I have it unless I remember it and I don’t think that’s going to happen.

The most useful app I've ever purchased!. I love this app! It's super easy to use and has already saved me loads of time. If you're a stitcher with a lot of floss, you NEED this app! I have only two issues with it - I would love to be able to search for floss by number rather than just name. Scrolling through the numbers by bracket is fine, but it'd be nice to have it instantly without any scrolling. My second issue is more my problem I guess, but I have an iPad and this app is iPhone only. I would love it in a larger size and maybe more features (like a fabric and needle inventory option). Either way, I love this app and have already recommended it to my stitchy friends.

Expand, please!. I really like how the app currently works. I would love more brands to be loaded. I am also looking for a way to link threads to a certain project. (E.g. 5 of my current supply of 310 go to the XYZ project. I need 3 more XXX for the XYZ project)

Good but could use some tweaks. I would love to see an update where you can choose to see only what’s in your inventory in one spot, rather than seeing all the DMC colors regardless if they’re in your inventory or not. But it’s still super handy to have on hand while you’re thread shopping.

Pretty solid app....... But the lack of tutorial is kinda sucky. I can’t figure out how to remove floss from my stash so I don’t think I still have when I run out and need to replace a color!

Helpful tool. It was easy to add my inventory of DMC flosses and my one Weeks Dye Works. However, lately my projects call for Classic Colorworks Belle Soie Silk floss. Please - In the next update - could Classic Colorworks be included in the specialty floss section? Also could there be a notes section - I had the use the project section to create a list of the Belle Soie Silk floss that I possess. Thank you for you consideration of this request

Still trying to figure it out. I think this will be a good app for me to use but there are a couple of things I can’t figure out. The main thing is that when I type in the project name, the name doesn’t show up (I guess the font color is white) so I can’t sort my threads by project. Is there a way to correct that?

Almost perfect. This app is just what I wanted except for one thing: there’s no option to add an item that isn’t in the inventory; for example, DMC’s metallic colors, or Kreinik metallics collection, or discontinued colors that I happen to have on hand. Developer: please add the ability for me to enter an item that isn’t already in your list. Thanks!

Dmc perle. Please add dmc and anchor Perl colors and sizes. Used commonly in blackwork embroidery. Thanks

Inventory versus shopping list. They should not change the inventory number if you need more than one skein of a certain color. I had 2 white but needed 4 more for a new project and it changed my inventory to 4 when I put that number in my shopping list. Please keep shopping list separate from inventory. I was really glad to find your app other than that. I saw you are going to try to get app on iPhone and iPad to sync! That would solve all problems I can see. Also you do note have the color Grits #1091 from iWeeks listed! You also need to add a place to add colors not in your lists!

Overall: good. I’m enjoying the app so far, but I’d like to be able to add the new colors to my stash

Great organization. Great App for organization, as long as YOU use it and YOU keep it updated. My only suggestions would be a full size view of the floss list when your in a project, instead of that little window. Also, showing the quantity of skeins in your stash, instead of just in inventory.

Sorry I wasted my money and time.. I have this on another iPad but on this iPad I am not able to add the necessary info for my latest project. GVH1!

A thoughtful app!. I only need this app on my phone, so that works quite fine. It's been thoughtfully designed for ease-of-use. I would like to see a section added so I could store information about my Kreinik thread, if I could make a request.

Removing features rather than adding them?. Still wish that this app sync’ed across my devices. As I mostly use my iPad when I'm working on my stitching, I would be making notes and lists on this device.... But this information doesn't transfer to my phone, as this is the device that would be coming with me when I'm at the store staring at the endless bins of floss. This is a huge downfall for me, in what I find to be an otherwise very useful app. I really hope that the developers will address this in a future release - either through a web-based sign in system, or by offering iCloud integration. I would also like the ability to show only what I have in my inventory and delete things from my shopping list. Both of these things used to be things that I could do in a previous version of this app, and the functionality seems to have been removed in the most current version. I’m actively looking for other ways to track my supply, because this has just become so much of a hassle to do anything with.

Needs update. I really like the app however I cannot add the new colors. Tried to contact the developer but haven’t received a response.

Needs Improvement. The inventory isn't even close to up to date. The majority of the Light Effects range isn't represented, and not being able to add new entries leaves this app very limited. It doesn't offer anything other free apps don't.

Needs Update. This app is great as far as it goes. Please update it to include Classic Colorworks and Crescent Colors floss. Allowing the user to create custom floss inventories would also be helpful.

Frustrated with the new updates. An updated review... I have been using this app for a while now, and for the most part, I like it. It seems that I go cross stitch crazy in the summer, and when I do that, I need to know what I have and what I need. Unfortunately, the option to check what is in my stash seems to have disappeared, unless I want to look at the entire catalog of DMC floss. I would still love to be able to check things off of the shopping list and have them be entered into inventory. The project list, does not organize the required floss in any recognizable pattern. It would also be nice if the project list would indicate whether the required floss is in my stash or not. Finally, as a number of users have suggested, it would be nice if this app would sync across devices. It seems like all of the pieces of this app are entirely separate from each other. If they integrated better, I would truly love this app. Until then, my trusty Excel document will have to be my main method of tracking things.

Mostly great!. Any chance that this app will be updated will new colors and such, considering that it’s a paid app? It’s so great, just want to be able to track the full stash :D

Good for floss inventory. For a floss inventory, I liked it. It's easy to use and I like how the color is next to the floss number. Some things I'd like to see are: 1. A way to connect the floss inventory to a project, that way it'd be easier to see what needs to be purchased. 2. A way to link this app to an account so I can use it on my phone for shopping purposes. Overall, it does what I want it to do-but, I think the above would make it better.

Needs an update. This is a great app, but DMC has new threads whose numbers are not listed in the inventory please update with the threads numbered in the 5200’s.

REALLY, REALLY WANT TO GIVE 5 STARS!. There is a need for a couple of things. 1) to be able to search for color by number and, once found, enter inventory amount. 2) keep up with color additions /updates and be able to add new colors until said updates are made. IF this is done-I will absolutely give a 5-Star review!!

Great to have. I would like to be able to enter information on my iPad and have it show up on my iPhone but just being able to do this on my phone is a big help. I posted in the frosted pumpkin stitch along group in Facebook to see whether others have this problem. They can enter in one device and have it show up on the other . So, for most of you this won't be a problem.

Xstitcher. They do not have all Weeks Dye Works listed to make for your inventory. I see no way to add any or to let them know that we would like these added. That is where I started and now I am ending. Sorry.

Great for keeping track of your thread stash. Love this app and have used it for some time now. It's even better now that Anchor threads have been added. Would love to see 'my stash' for Anchor too, though. Great upgrade though!

Not as good as previous version. It used to a great app, but the new version is frustrating. You can't delete anything if you added something by mistake, or have bought it. In the projects section once you have entered your colours the screen doesn't change so you can see your colours. You only have a small section of screen with your list on it.

AAAAGH Update Deletes everything you've entered.. Grrr. Warning - loading the update deletes everything you've previously entered - the inventory checkmarks indicating the threads you already have, and any shopping list you have entered. Sorry, changing my rating. Deleting the app and going back to the paper list in my handbag. Much quicker, and less infuriating.

Awesome. I love this app, it does everything it says it will and keeping track has never been easier. EDIT: Would love a backup button or similar so can restore inventory to new phone...saving the inconvenience of having to reload everything back in after phone resets etc

Great!. I love this app. However I can't figure out how to add floss to the project area. A scanning function would be brilliant too.

Overall wonderful. Overall i love this app!! So helpful for keeping track of my threads. My only issue is that I cannot scroll down in my projects list to select the bottom few! If you could fix this it would be great!!

Not worth the $$. The app is not worth the money I paid for it. Very disappointed.

Not the best. Hard to navigate. Added all of my floss inventory and added all the floss required to start my next project, but the app doesn't seem to automatically tell me what floss I'm missing and need to buy..? Is this just me or is it the app?

Fantastic App. After trying another app this was a wonderful surprise. Very easy to work and manipulate. Spent a wonderful afternoon adding my threads and am now updating "Projects." Facility to add a photo to Projects would make this pretty much perfect. Great to have on the phone when shops are having a sale and you want to top up or just get newies!

Use to love this app. I use to love this app it was the best but this new update makes it impossible i can't add any thread to my inventory and thats the point of the app

Fab. Great app. A couple of small issues ust updated to V3.1 and when you go back after viewing anchor to DMC it crashes. Also cannot update description in the project if already created.

Does this sync between devices?. I thought this was going to be a great app, but... after spending ages adding on my iPad, I checked iPhone before going shopping and it’s NOT showing:(( I expected it to be synced and can’t find anything to show me what to do or even if it syncs!! Help, please!

Just what I was after. This is exactly what I was looking for. Even does more than I wanted with the DMC-Anchor conversion and project lists. Just doesn't have the 5000 series of numbers? I hope updates do not clear my lists though as it takes a while to update them.

Simple but useful. A really good, simple way of keeping track of threads. What would make it better would be able to place a note for each thread so you could say where it is, for example which project you have it stashed with. Also I think it needs an update as the last few colours are missing pictures.

iPad view. Very disappointed that I can’t get an iPad view having paid quite a lot for an app that says on the note that it is iPad compatible. I hate working in portrait display please tell me how I can work in landscape

Lost my floss data during an update. When I updated, all of my floss colours were lost. I would have contacted you for help but it's only available via Facebook. Do I now have to re-enter ALL of my threads?

Pretty Good. I like the inventory function. I wish that there was a way to edit the projects and also would like it better if once the project info was input it would cross reference with the inventory and add automatically to the dropping list.

Great for organizing but could use an update. This app does a perfect job of allowing you to track dmc floss but I am a little concerned after all the work I did entering quantities that there is absolutely no account login, iCloud or any other sync option. It also doesn't allow me to use the app on my iPad and iPhone. A little disappointing since it's not a free app, I expect more for something paid. Also a few other niceties missing like quantity in inventory (totals) and the search could use improvements like allowing you to update quantities from there. Looking forward to an update.

Great .....but. I really like this app, it is easy to use but, I have an iPad and for this the screen size is small, they do provide an enlarge button, but it gets blurry. I wish they had an iPad version. So for this reason I give this app 4stars.

Pretty good. More useful with a phone then an iPad. would like the "projects" to put the colours into numeric order for me. Would also like "projects" to show whether or not the colour is in my inventory.

More useful than others. Not saying much. Bulk edit is very limited. Adding to a shopping list is a breeze. Still haven’t figured out what projects are supposed to be for. Clunky and difficult to use.

Threads and quantity. I really like this app but it does need some improvements. I would like to see quantity because some projects requires alot more then 1 floss. Also I notice it doesn't have the metallic threads nor the jewl effects, pretty much all the shiny threads. Can you update it please. Please can you add a delete and edit button!!!!! Please I can't update my thread collection because I can't delete from the shopping list or quantity thank you

Add the new colors!!!. There is no contact information for this company. So I’m on here asking if they could update their app with the new colors. I did pay money to help me get organized and so far I’m extremely disappointed in how little of this app gets updated and there is no tutorial on how to add projects to the project section. Not to mention it would be nice if I could take pictures of my projects, maybe of the patterns, or choose what colors are being used. That way I know which ones are running low. Instead you give us a section that just say projects. Nothing else. And he doesn’t tell me what I’m supposed to be doing with this section!! Please update your app!!!

Great Database!. I was hoping someone would come up with an application like this. NO MORE PAPER!! This is great for all the stitchers out there who need to keep track of their floss. The Shopping List feature is equally wonderful. I will give it 5 stars once it keeps an inventory of other DMC floss - Perle Coton 5, 8, and 12!!!

There are some issues with "my stash". I bought this app to help organize my embroidery floss but when I try to see the final list I have to either, A) view inventory when I have to choose between multiple pages. Or B) look at "my stash" which only shows me which colours I have, not how many skeins I have of each. Neither of those options are satisfactory and I'm debating deleting the app because it won't help me from over buying.

A good buy. This app is going to be a big help when shopping, instead of using (and losing!) little notes with missing project colours. One thing I'd like to see is the option to add colours to my projects from the stash page as well as the main list.

New floss. Please update the app to reflect the new DMC colors 1-35. Also it’s hard to use this app sometimes. Flipping back and forth rather than a streamlined list. Improved usability of app would be helpful. I do like this app tho but it could function better for me :).

Good app. I wish the inventory included the option to specify if the thread was regular DMC, Perle Cotton 5, 8, or 12. While there’s been a few additions over the years, it’s certainly not up-to-date. Overall, an ok app for keeping track of some of your DMC threads by needs to be updated to be really useful.

Good not great. This app is useful, but a few things would make it great: the ability to view all threads in our collection on one page ( an inventory); linen and metallic thread support, and an update: there were several shades missing in the app. I expect an update soon, since this is a paid app.

XStitcher. This is a great app. I finally know how much floss I have. What would make it even better is if after entering items in the Project Manager, it would automatically check inventory and create a shopping list rather than you having to do that separately. Best money I ever spent. Thank You.

Super App. Very useful for keeping track of what I have in my stash. Would like an update that adds the S series of flosses (S415, S504, etc.) and any other colours that might be missing.

VERY disappointed. This app COULD be a very useful tool for stitchers, that is IF IT DIDN'T CRASH! After entering 300+ colors, the app crashed and all of my checkmarks disappeared. I shut down my iPhone & restarted the app--entering 300+ colors AGAIN, only to have it crash once more! I've never left negative feedback before, but this app is trash. I'd really like my $1.99 back, not to mention 1 1/2 hours of my life! Grrr... >:-(

Missing threads. I just downloaded this app today and I am really enjoying it. However I feel that the threads need to be updates because I have threads in my boxes that are not an option to add to my stash.

A couple of suggestions. Just downloaded and have been playing with it. Love that it includes GAST and WDW threads. Unfortunately I am not finding a spot to put threads I have but are not in the current lists in the app and also any other specialty threads (for instance I have some Gloriana silks I'd like to enter and Romy's Creations). Secondly, a place to upload photos of finished projects.

Serviceable but needed some improvement. This app is a lot more stable and open more quickly than the "other" floss inventory app. However this app only work with DMC, luckily 98% of what I have is DMC cotton so it works. I'd still have to find another app/ system whenever I decide to add other floss brands to my stash. One thing I really missing is the +/- buttons in addition to typing in the number of skeins you have for each color. Another nice improvement would be to identify the said field as numerical only so I won't have to hit the 123 button on the keyboard whenever I enter values.

Ok but not great. Just started using this app, so maybe I'm missing something. To keep track of my floss inventory in general, it's fine. If you have a color in more than one project, it seems to list the total # of skeins in both projects, which isn't ideal. I also wish it worked in landscape instead of portrait. Needs some work - I think I'll go back to my own Excel inventory spreadsheet.

Nice design but limited. Usefulness severely hampered by inability to export in any form. Emailing oneself a screenshot of a shopping list & printing it out is not an ideal solution...

Very handy!. So far I really love this app! This is such a great way to keep track of my stash. I do wish that it would sync between my iPad and iPhone. It is easier to manage my inventory using my iPad but when I'm out and about and run to the craft store I could just check my iPhone to see what I need. But as it is I have to manually enter into both.

Mostly great app. Great way to keep track of what I have and what I need for projects. Latest update seemed to make the shopping list a little less user friendly--more steps needed to delete purchased items. It wasn't obvious at first that my purchased items were being added to my inventory. I bought this developer's other apps and use them often. Would def recommend them!

Not working correctly. No way to edit project after its created ?? Huh? Please fix and update.

So far, pretty good!. Wish that I could enter 1/2 when appropriate. Would be handy when checking inventory. Also, would like to see Crescent Colours or maybe a section to enter my own inventory of other specialty fibers.

Ok. It doesn't have all the DMC colors available. Also, it doesn't allow the addition of floss from other companies.

What I was searching for!. I just wanted a simple app to dump my hefty dmc collection data into so I wouldn't keep buying the same (and unneeded skeins) and probably spent $7 on a few other apps altogether but this one is the only one still on my phone. The features are wonderful and keep getting better with updates. I also appreciate that it groups the special light effects, satin, and variegated floss separate from the main product line.

Great app. I really like this app for keeping track of my DMC floss. I would love to see a checkbox on the shopping list so that you can check off colors when you purchase them. Or as other users have said, a button to add an item from a shopping list to a project. I guess just an easier way to remove items from the shopping list or to move them to the project/inventory list. All in all, great app!!

Very handy. I have not experienced any of the problems noted here. It works like a charm and its features are very valuable for stitchers! I agree it would be nice to search by number as well as name.

Great floss organization app. This app is great for keeping track of your thread, planning projects, and making shopping lists. Very simple to use and works great!

Love it!. I've been using the app for a few months and really like the inventory and shopping features ('tho I wish the colors would sort by number in the shopping list). Still, those features work better here than in other programs I tried. One improvement I'd like is to be able to take pictures of completed projects and store them here. Also, I'd love to be able to put in my cross stitch books so I don't buy the same one twice (again). ☺️

Nice. Looks like some updates have been made since the last reviews. Add to shopping list with a push of a button and record multiples are now features. Next enhancement that would be nice is to include a cross reference to anchor colors and additional specialty colors. Maybe the option to add your own custom colors to the database. Makes a fun excuse to go through all the floss I have tucked away.

Am I doing something wrong???. The reason I gave 3 stars is because I like that I can add the floss I need. Now I can have it with me on those quick stops to Micheals. What I don't like is, I can't add the floss I have in inventory. It only has a shopping cart in it. So it goes to my shopping list. How on earth do I keep track of what I already have? Maybe I'm not getting it. I feel like I got ripped off!!

It has never been this easy to catalogue floss. I have to say that this app makes keeping my floss stock organized and at hand. No longer will I be standing in front if the Great Wall of floss saying to myself "I know there was more I needed". I highly suggest this app to anyone that stitches.

Good, but needs improvement. I like tracking my DMC floss inventory as well as shopping list of colors still needed. However, app won't allow you to enter quantities needed on list. Also, if it's going to provide a conversion table for Anchor, why can't it provide a stash+shopping list for Anchor thread as well? I use both brands, so it'd be nice to have my entire inventory all in one place.

Thanks for the fix. With the last update the app works as claimed. Thank you for fixing it! It is getting more and more useful.

Somewhat disappointed. After lots of time putting in my inventory, (and yes, it crashed twice) there was an upgrade which I thought would solve some on the bugs. Instead my entire inventory disappeared!!! My shopping list also keeps disappearing. I want to like this application, and was thrilled when I found it, but wouldn't recommend it unless there are some changes. Bummer.

Glad I bought it. After playing around with this app I found it was the best compared with other floss apps I've tried. It does what it says it will do quickly and simply. Yeah!!!

Needs added feature to shopping list. If you buy items on a shopping list it would be nice if there was an add to project button as well as an add to stash button. Overall, very nice app so far.

Good, but could be better. Project list hides behind the menu bar if you have too many projects. Not all of the colors are in the app (light effects, metallics). Still not a bad app for the price, but definitely needs improvements.

Stash works. But attemping to use the Project feature added some time ago still causes the app to crash, as it has since it was added. The developer advises us "If you need support, please visit XStitcher Support" which I did; it's a blog, and I have made several returns to no avail. My posts there have either disappeared or were never approved to show: I've never seen them once they leave my machine. I also emailed the developer (states on app that that is the preferred route for support) at the time I first found the update to cause crashing but have heard a total of nothing from any of my efforts. I wouldn't put any money/more money into this app until the developer can be relied on to provide support.

Very Poor Application. I wanted to like this application but it is poorly designed and poorly programmed. While I was able to load my DMC nventory I have not been able to get into the shopping list at all. When I try it just shuts down the app. I have been unsuccessful in adding floss to my projects because it either freezes or shuts down the app. If it at least worked it would be OK but it is not only low function but doesn't work reliably. I will continue to use my knitting app to document my Needlepoint and cross stitich projects. I will keep this since I have a complete list of the floss I own. I am glad I only spent $1.99 for it.

Great app. Great app and something I've been wanting. A great addition would be an option to print the shopping list.

Doesn't fully work. The main reason I purchased this product is to keep track of "my stash." I have tapped everywhere on that screen to add quantity amounts to specific colors and it does not work. FAIL!

Yay!!. My 1990 "Gloria & Pat" floss list just wasn't working anymore...so glad I found this app. It just needs a couple of tweeks...shopping list needs to be in numerical order, not order added to the list. And an indicator on the floss list of which have been added to the shopping list and project lists would be a great help. Adding DMC braids would be great, as well.

Good App. Does what I want it to do. Very simple to use. Wish the developers would work on being able to sync between iPhone and iPad. Would be a 5 star then!

A suggestion. It would be great if once the floss shopping list is done - that there be an option to put the floss numbers in numerical order this way I can get the floss one right after another instead of shuffling back and forth in front of the display stand at the store. Thanks!

I love the idea but....... I love the idea of this app. I have not had any problems with the inventory portions but it drops the number of skeins of floss in the shopping list. Because I stitch Heaven and Earth designs I need to purchase more than one skein at a time. So this is aggravating. If they fixed that I would love it.

Also would love to be able to see what colors I don't have in projects screen as I already have input a bunch of projects for future and makes for easy reference instead of digging out chart when I've already input all that info in app.

Nice. All in all, nice app to inventory floss. I do wish you could add colors manually, as the metallics aren't listed, nor are the new colors.

Iffy. I used to store my floss in the notes app that comes with the iTouch. I got this app thinking it would be great. It's not. This app was my first ever app to crash on me. Luckily I didn't lose anything. Like everyone else, I believe it would be nice to know exactly how many skins I have. Also, it would be nice if you could search for numbers as well as colors. All in all, not a great app. Do not get it.

Its ok not real happy. Does not have some of the popular brands. For some reason it is not holding all of my inventory. I have noticed some DMC colors I have put in get dropped. It's good when it works.

XStitcher. When it updated to current version, it not only lost my complete inventory, the inventory page only has blank lines - no lists & no option to add lists - AFTER I MAKE ANOTHER COMPLETE INVENTORY LIST IN THE BASEMENT!

Needs updates. This is a good app but it has potential to be a fantastic app. The light effects variegated variations etc do not update into " my stash " I have to leave my stash and go to the main page to see if I have these. Please update the stash to include everything we have! Also dmc just release 12 new colors 3880 to 3895 for 2013 when will this be updated in the inventory?

Could be handy...great potential.. This could be a handy little app for us stitchers. It keeps a nice general inventory of your DMC floss and allows you to build a shopping list. The first problem I noticed is that it doesn't allow you to keep track of how many skiens of each color you have in your stash, just allows you to show that you have it. It would be really handy if we could enter in the actual number of skeins on hand. The app crashed 3 times while trying to enter my inventory, each time losing what had been entered. I decided that after entering 10 skeins or so, if I exited the app and reopened it my inventory would be there...so that was more time consuming. I noticed at least 1 error in the DMC data base. (912 was entered twice; once where it belonged, and then once between 920 and 922. The color name is correct, "Copper", but the number should be 921 instead of 912 and the picture shows 912's color, not the copper.) I have not gone through the list extensively, just happened to notice that one error. Lastly, creating a shopping list is rather time consuming, having to enter numbers manually. It would be nice in future versions to be able to add colors straight from the inventory page, i.e., a "tap to add to shopping list" button. Additionally, when adding things to the shopping list, it would be great to show how many of each color you need to buy while out and about. (You can add the same color to the shopping list multiple times but, again, this is time consuming.) If you are looking to keep a general list of what is on hand, this is a great app. I'm also pretty excited to have my shopping list with me wherever I go! I can't wait to see what future versions of this app brings our way!

No good!. Hate I wasted money on this. I have many more colors that are not included on the app.

Very Useful!!!. I decided to finally put all of my floss onto bobbins and try to collect all of the DMC colors. This app is terrific for keeping track of what I have and what I need. Before, I was bringing my increasingly banged-up sheet of DMC bobbin labels to the store and looking for numbers of colors that I still hadn't put on bobbins and labeled. Much, much easier to have the information on my phone! I look forward to adding the colors I need for my next project to the app and having the colors and amount of skiens I need right there! I was confused about how to delete items from the Shopping List section (there is a little blue trash can icon on the bottom left side of that screen that I didn't see for some reason) and I sent my question to the developer and got a reply the next morning! Very helpful and nice! It does what it says it does! Well worth the price!! Full stars!

Disappointed. It seems like every time I attempt to remove an item from my shopping list, the app crashes. Very frustrating.

Project list is cumbersome.. In order to add floss to a project, you have to go into your inventory. There is a "P" next to the shopping cart. If you need to buy it, you select the cart. What is frustrating is that the project manager doesn't indicate what you have and what you need to buy. Sometimes I have a number of projects (some with 50+ colors each) and I may only want to buy for one project at a time. It would be great if the floss listed for a project indicated how much is in the inventory or a cart symbol if it is on the shopping list.

Love it, but still needs a few things. This is great for cataloging my thread. I would like the option to be able to view the listing in the colored gradient that the DMC card uses as well. Another feature that would really help me is if I add a thread to my shopping list that I already have, how about a pop up or notification? This way I don't double buy (which is sort of the point of this anyways).

Good app, but needs some enhancements. I love having my floss catalog in one place. I agree with the other reviewers. It would be great to have all the DMC varieties: variegated, satin, linen, etc. It would also be great if this app could capture other lines (Anchor) and how many skeins of each color. I keep several skeins of some colors and it would be nice to know how much I have.

Needs update. It has the long term stand-by DMC colors. However, some of the newer ones, like the varigated flosses are missing. It appears it will not let you pick project floss from the 'my stash" listing. Overall, it's a good program. Well thought out as to functions and degree of complexity. Until the list is updated, it's going to be of limited use for me.

Needs the ability to sync with other devices.. I really like the functionality but wish it would sync across devices. I load stuff on my iPad but have to redo on my phone.
