Thanks! May I suggest.... Thank you for taking the time to create this app. I know it took time and effort yet you still offered it for free. Might I suggest, though, that you remove the following from the background section, "The final draft of the constitution was constructed of a bundle of compromises." All but 3 of the decisions that went into that inspired document were made by consensus.

The word freedom does not appear in the constitution!. So if you search for “speech” it returns the first amendment. If you search for “freedom” it says no results. Maybe Ginsberg used this app during law school!

Desperately Need Font Sizing. A lot of good information, well organized...plus it is FREE. However, there no font sizing available other than pinch/spread. This will enlarge the text, but it doesn't reformat to the available screen width. This makes it hard to read. The default font is very small. Not all of us have great vision anymore!

Great App NO problems whatsoever. Since getting this app a couple of days ago, I have not had any problems with it. Everything has functioned as expected and works great.

Very bias!. The Bill of Right were a compromise to the complaint’s and campaign’s of the Anti-Federalists. We would not have those rights if it wasn’t for them. It would only be correct to include the Anti-Federalist papers in this app.

Poor Interpretation. The Constitution is one of the most important documents in our Nation. Every citizen should know and understand what our constitution is and how it provides for our way of life and gives the freedoms we enjoy. Unfortunately, the interpretation to the constitution in this App is extremely poor and poorly written. The individual who completed the narrative didn’t spend much time learning and understanding the founding fathers’ mindset. Find another app to get your constitutional fix.

Very useful, some bugs. I use this for my AP US Gov class, and it's a lifesaver, but the numbering on the Federalist papers is off. The numbered sections skip #17, while it is still there listed as #18. The rest of the numbers are thrown off accordingly. I had to read #51 for an assignment and instead unwittingly read #50.

Handy. I have used this app for years on my iPad and it works just as well on my phone. And yes, it does have the Preamble if you really just have to study it.

Some Grammar Problems But Still Excellent!. As mentioned in my title, there are grammatical errors; but overall the notes are worth the errors! I only wish you could highlight and bookmark as you went through this amazing document.

It’s come down to this.... Americans all need to know a little bit more about their country. This app is a great way to start. First of all, no ads! Even the developer puts “no ads“ as the first description of the app. In a world where ads can ruin the best app, it’s a pleasure to not face those annoying little pests. The UI is not the greatest, a bit clunky and somewhat lacking in design, but it’s pretty intuitive getting around the app. It’s basically just a lot of reading, but important reading, so the UI isn’t that important. There are a couple of upgrades for those historical nerds who like reading about old Supreme Court cases and the like, and there is a free commentary that comes along with just about everything on the app. The commentary may be good for some people who find it hard to wade through some of the early English legalese that most of the product is written in. And for those of you who don’t want the constitution “interpreted” by anyone for you, then just don’t read the commentaries. It never hurts to know where you stand in your own country.

Great App. FYI, Article 1 Section 3 Clause 6 should be updated to include Trump in the annotation

Very bad for trying to get away with 3rd degree murder. So I installed this app thinking it would help me get away with 3rd degree murder because I killed my grandma and dog due to them both giving me hpv and testicular cancer stage 2 1/5 star would not try again

Too much commentary. There is no need for commentary. That’s opinion and should not be included.

Commentary not needed. Very easy to navigate application. The editorializing of each clause an amendment is geared to a specific school of thought & actually was not helpful or in some cases not even accurate. If you favor a progressive, big government editorial of the Constitution you will enjoy this app, if you are looking just to have the Constitution as text, you will be disappointed. I gave three stars because the organization of the app is very good, I would have given five if I could have shut off the editorial comments.

Bookmarks. I feel like there needs to be a bookmark feature because when I started reading it earlier today, I left off in the middle of a section and I’d like to continue reading it but I can’t recall where I left off currently. A bookmark feature would be VERY helpful. Thanks :)

More display options please. Content and organization is fine, but I can't read the text at the current size. Add an option to increase the font size and it would be a nice usable app.(pinch zooming doesn't cut it, cuz then you have to scroll back and forth to read every line!!)

Needs a little work to be great. This app has very nice design, and I love the Apple Watch feature. Unfortunately, there are a few glaring glitches that need to be resolved for this app to be perfect. From the main screen, neither Article V nor Article VII can be viewed by tapping. Tapping these Articles will instead take you to whatever article you have previously been viewing. These two articles are the Articles that do not contain a “sub-category” of sections, so I assume that is the issue. The content does exist, however, and by searching relevant words from another section of the app you can still find the text. Finally, design wise, the search bar can only be found by entering into a sub-category from the main screen, but then all of these search bars search the entirety of the app. I wish that the search bar was instead above the main screen (and searched everything) and that the search bars inside sub-categories would only search within that category. For example, the ability to search within Madison’s Journal only would be useful to me. I have submitted feedback for both of these issues, and if the bug is resolved this will be a four star app. With a little bit of refinement, it will be five star. Update: This bug occurs on an iPhone 5S, but does not occur on an iPad Mini.

Get it if you're not a Constitution EXPERT!. Besides, it's free. ;-) I find the interpretations aids in understanding the original intent of certain aspects of the document. Read them or not, the original document is still there. My only complaint is that the search only searches the section titles and not the document's text instead or maybe too? Like I need help finding Article IV? LOL

Great!!! The constitution only. There are reviews critical of the commentary. Do yourself a favor read the constitution and make your own commentary. I believe that is what those critiques missed. As an American you can interpret the constitution and anything else the way you want as long as it does not infringe the rights of others. Don't listen to the commentary. Also, there should be red flags raised when a review includes the invocation and endorsement of gods, dogma or ideology as a tool of criticism. Very sad.

Desperately Needs Proofread.. The commentary sections are full of elementary-level grammatical errors. Some of them are so glaringly bad that the content of the commentary itself can be called into question. Also, the text formatting is not uniform throughout the entire document. If some basic proof-reading and document standardization is done, then I would give this app a higher rating.

Good Presentation. Good presentation of the Constitution, but I don't care for the commentary, which states as fact some issues that are controversial. For example, it states regarding the preamble that the term "general welfare" clearly implies things like education and roads. Actually, this implication is not so clear and is a matter certainly worthy of study. Thankfully they also provide the Federalist Papers, so you can read much of this background for yourself. It would have nice if they included the Anti-Federalist papers as well. There is another app out there that provides the Constitution without commentary, but it doesn't include the Federalist Papers. On the technical side, the app works well, and is easy to navigate. Overall a good application.

Amazing app. I use this app all the time for school and for just plain fun. If you were learning about the constitution, I recommend this application.

Biased commentary. While the app itself does a good job of displaying the Constitution in a readable format for devices, it unfortunately contains a fatal flaw, biased commentary that makes the app unfit for use. I realizes this after I'd downloaded it for my daughter and she wasn't able to tell where the text of the Constitution ended and the commentary began. One example: the commentary interpreted the general welfare clause as a "catch all" to allow the federal government to do essentially anything it desired.

Left leaning view of our founding document.. I downloaded this app to have a handy reference. As I was reading I noticed that the interpretations were decidedly left leaning. For example, article 4, section 4 states that the government must secure a republican form of government in each of the states, but the interpretation refers to a democracy. This country is not a democracy. The constitution clearly states that we are a republic. I have this deleted this program and will search for a more balanced accurate reading.

My favorite phone app!. I read this app at least twice (maybe more) a day. Why? To keep myself current and knowledgeable with the most important charter of human liberty and freedom in mankind's history. You have everything you could want here. The United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist Papers, and much more. Admittedly, one thing I would like to see added are the Anti-Federalist Papers, I think both sides should be represented, equally. Reading both charters (written by groups of equally brilliant men) really helps you appreciate the Constitution even more, I think. I'll step off my rostrum now and just say for you to give it a try. I definitely think you won't regret it.

Article 2 Section 1. Your description of "natural born" is not fully accurate. While the Constitution does not specifically define "natural born" case law does offer a concise definition of the term. A natural born citizen is a person born on US soil to parents who are both US citizens. (Minor v. Happersett, an 1874). I believe there were 2 examples of eligibility pertaining to the 2008 election. Otherwise it is a very cool app!!

Way to go!!!. THIS is what I'm talking about!! All I wanted was a copy of the U.S. Constitution with amendments and here it is. All the other constitution apps add or subtract a bunch of nonsense, even the pricey ones. I've got this one for free and it serves my purposes perfectly. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Five thumbs up!!

Word Sizing. There is inconstancy in the word sizing in some sections. One section may have large print while another has extra small print. It seems resizing one section also affects all sections. Looking for a uniform sizing throughout the entire app.

Great education tool. Lately with all the trouble in Washington this has been very informative and has helped me understand why the house is taking action. Thank you for providing a free way to view the constitution in its simplest form.

Awesome app. I rather have things in paper format when I can but this is something I really want to have near me all the time/on hand to take a peak at here and there so that I really know what these papers say. That's why I downloaded it originally and this second time. Decades ago students used to memorize the entire constitution.

No search that works. Search does not work - searched for 'congress', 'militia', 'arms', 'tax' - no results. Searched for 'article' and it found only articles 1, 2, 3 and 6, leaving out 4, 5 and 7 - what's up with that? Needs a search that works!

Incorrect definition of articles.. This used to be good but then they updated it to provide definitions to articles. Now–like all politics–has been ruined to state what they view as their meaning behind the constitution, yet much goes against what originalist or federalist papers claim. This is wrong for anyone trying to learn the constitution and it’s meaning. How about leave your personal opinion out, or include both opinions.

Why all the commentary?. We dont need all the commentary. Just give us the information. Maybe you all can put in Settings: View Commentary: Yes or No Also, maybe add highlights. Overall, very good app.

Commentary. Realize that the comments on each section are just that, comments. They are not the words of the original authors. In some cases the comments have not been fully edited for grammar and typographic errors. Regarding the comment to Article 2, Section 1, Clause 2; the commentator presents an argument regarding the Presidential Electors (Electoral College in modern parlance) that was pushed by groups biased against the clause. Look up the numbers for Wyoming and California for the 2016 election. If the number of registered voters is used rather than the number of voters who took time to actually vote then the ratio of voters per elector is quite different and very representative of the registered population of the states. The comment in this case is disingenuous.

YAYYY. I love this math app

Very good app. The explanations of the articles makes it much easier to understand the concepts. However, there were numerous grammatical errors in the text. Fix those and this app will be perfect.

Nice app. Just had a chance to check out the app and it is nicely done. I like the extras that are available but would love to see the anti federalist papers as well. I will recommend this app to my Constitutional friends

Constitution. Excellent source reference. Having all the documents together for review and informing is the prime asset of the app. The app itself works as expected and presents the documents with appropriate direction through the menu. As I read and study I will review the commentaries for historical accuracy, reserving their review.

Need to update. The supreme court’s decision on topics especially in 2A opinion from justices Thomas

Anti-Textualist Inerpretation. The makers of this app are unfair and misleading. Anyone who goes to the App Store to download a pocket constitution is doing so out of love and reverence for the founding fathers and the world’s longest lasting constitution that they drafted. The commentary in this app attempts to mock their work and is coming from an uninformed perspective. People who want to learn about the constitution so read it directly and be skeptical of other who insist on filtering the original version and providing their perspective. Opt to download a different version.

Good, but could be better. I really enjoy using this and love the share feature. It would be great to have the Bill of Rights separate with background information for it (why it was written, etc). Also, it would really be helpful to have a search option.

Update with D. Trump State of Union. Hi I love this app it’s so helpful and I’ve shared it with my history class. Could you please update the State of the Union addresses to include President Trump’s Address from February 5, 2019? Thank you!!

Many errors in the federalists papers. This is a handy app, I'm up to federalist paper 37, and have found frequent errors in the text. Usually I can determine what was meant, but sometimes not. Someone should do a thorough review and make repairs. It's a handy app but the errors should be fixed. I don't know if I have read through the constitution on this app or not it might be fine. The app just needs some QC.

Comments from the author are skewed against the Constitution. The comments from the author are skewed against the Constitution. I do NOT recommend this app to those of whom are seeking to learn the Constitution. For instance the comments made regarding the 2nd Amendment direct the reader away from the true meaning of the God given rights that the Constitution upholds. First of all the 2nd Amendment is clear in it's meanings. The right for every American to own arms in order to defend against a tyrannical government is the exact meaning. Along with the right to defend ones life, family and property go hand in hand. No man or government can take these rights from you. The author clearly is not in favor of the true meanings of the Constitution. This is only one example, there are more examples to be found.

With Leftist Editorials. You're better served with another company's product. This one, under its "interpretations" of the various clauses, smuggles in every left-wing bit of nonsense it can. The U. S. Constitution does not need "interpretation" by the vendor, courts, or even law "professors" since it was written in plain language for the Citizens. It would have at least been intellectually honest had the commentary cited some areas as controversial, but of course that is not the "progressive" way forward--global warming (now called "climate change" after their lies were too obvious to finesse) is settled fact without any dispute, just as the general welfare clause covers "anything the federal government decides including roads and education." Skip this snarky one in favor of text more objective, one that simply relates the words without attempting to define what they mean in a one-sided and idiotic manner.

Very mistaken history. The opening paragraph of this app states that the Constitutions preamble clearly used the term "we the people" instead of "we the states" to prove, like Abraham Lincoln wanted everyone to believe, that the States united were indivisible and consolidated into one nation and people. This could not be further from the truth. The Constitution was ratified by the states as sovereign entities and have never given up that sovereignty. The states are all part of a confederation. They delegated certain limited powers to the Federal government. The ratifiers of the constitution, the people of the several states, would never had agreed to the notion of one people and one "National"government. It was debated very thoroughly. I am removing your app until you take the time to understand the Constitution and its original intent. noted are NOT on

Essential Materials. Whether you are a scholar of American history or curious about our foundational documents, this app provides everything you need to understand and appreciate the Constitution and beyond. Highly recommended.

BEST of the Best!!!!. I own 8 political and historical apps created by Multieducators, Inc. As soon as I get more space, I am buying every app you create. These are extraordinary. They are the highest-quality and most comprehensive apps in my library, and I own hundreds., I am SO IMPRESSED with both the tons of information in your apps, along with the many features...Amazing!!!!!!

No search capability. It’s okay and includes some extras like presidential stare of the union speeches for an extra 99¢ but it doesn’t support searching.

Constitution. This is a great app. A most useful upgrade suggestion would be to include an index-perhaps using keywords. The recent additions are great but difficult to search specific cases, subjects, topics, etc.. Thanks for consolidating such critical information Dick

This app is an app. i no tht this app is an app bc they sell it on the app store. apps r fun. apps r cool. apps r good. appl sounds like app. ueroejklqs; [wbhit4fugtfu9o13dmr,vqsfhduu3mx,vz

Fine app. Comments and definitions for each article are easily accessible.

Crashes. Worked well and was a very valuable source of information until the most recent update. Now it crashes (with 7.1.2). Unusable...

Shows only a black screen.. This new update hasn't fixed the App.

Review. Ballin my teacher made me down load it

Slanted Commentary. As with other reviewers, I found that the commentary is slanted against constitutional issues and doesn't contain current SCOTUS decisions. Recommend another app or avoid all commentary

Not the exact text. For example the beginning of Article I section 8 is "The Congress shall have Power". This app modified that to "The Congress shall have the power:". I want the original Constitution, not some edited version.

Obviously summarized the left. This app is garbage, I downloaded it to help me in my constitutional law class and all its all obviously summarized by the left. Your better off just getting a pocket book of the constitution.

Impossible to read. Font is too small

Great app. This a great app for my American Gov. Class. The only reason for why I'm giving it three stars is that the State of the union addresses words are so close and stacked on top of each-other that they are unreadable. Everything else is amazing though.

Great app. I like the app. From what I can see, the bugs are worked out, but I haven't read it all yet.

Every Patriot. needs this app!

Bug issue. Just did a fresh install and will only boot up to a black screen!

General info. If you look at the 19th amendment all it says is this gave women the right to vote. No actual wording from the amendment is included.

Awesome app!. Only reason I'm passing ap gov

Missing a very important part. Missing the preamble to the Bill of Rights. If you've read it you would understand its importance.

Great, but. It would be better if one could highlight passages and make notes. Then I'd give it a five star review.

Seriously!. Add the preamble, get rid of the commentary, and title it better. Other than that it is helpful.

Unreadable. Can you make the font any smaller? Max size still needs a magnifying glass.

Absurd. The commentary on the Constitution that is included with this app was ridiculously poorly written: it was almost childish in its illiteracy.

Government. Perfect for my college government class.

It's crashing. It's crashing. Need immediate fixing please

Good but definitely room for improvement. The font is different on every page if you fix that I'd give it 5 stars

Opinions needed. I think the interpretations must have been written by a progressive liberal.

14th and 15th need to be switched.. The 14th and 15th amendments are suppose to be switched. The 14th amendment grants the citizenship to african Americans. Not the right to vote. The 15th amendment gives all men the right to vote. Including African Americans.

Don't bother wasting the bandwidth. I do not need some half wit commentary to explain what they're interpretation of the constitution is.

Perfect for me. Clear and concise. I am a scientist and just wanted big picture info. Perfect. The Anti Federalist Papers did not load on last update?

Great App. Some of the most important content on ITunes.. This is a great app and it contains some of the most important information on ITunes. Works great on my ipod.

Great app. Download this app and share with ALL. You will not be disappointed.

Great. I have to memorize the amendments and this app is perfect for it.

Great app.. Everyone should have this and read it frequently.

Useless to search. Search function is useless. Does not search the actual text of the document. When a search for "Congress" yields no results, you've got a problem.

Good usable product. Easy to use with complete text and sound scholarship.

Best app ever. Helps me in class

Skip it!. The commentary is trash. With out it the app would a five star. But with it, I will use a different app.

Miss spelled words. Article 2 Section 3 he shall receive ambassadors and other pubic ministers Otherwise good App

User. Great app

Excellent app. Has the full text as well as images. Also the interpretations are clear, understandable and seemingly free of partisan views.

Awesome app!. Best app for Constitution and other documents. Great UI. Keep it up. Must buy.

Search crashes app. This would be a great reference source if it didn't crash every time you try to search for something.

Strange commentary. The commentaries, while helpful, also often contain pointless editorial comments in closing-strange. Not having labels other than the article, amendment or clause numbers is a little clunky for those unfamiliar with the document. Many formatting and typographical errors. Looks like they solved the search crash bug by removing the feature. I'll be looking for a better app.

Good App. This is a handy reference.

Inaccuracies. There are inaccuracies which concern me here. For one. The MTA is not a joint agency of NJ, NY, and CT as stated in the explanation of article 1 section 10.

Great to have on iPhone. Very convenient little app.

Missing key element. Had advised the author about the missing preamble to the Bill of Rights, defining its purpose as written by the founders.. Without it, the app in incomplete and does our citizens a disservice.

Not helpful. Extremely boring, slow, and closes for no reason.

Good resource. Good resource for the Constitution and Federalist Papers. Wish they had would add the Declaration of Independence, or create a similar app.

Crashes!. Since the update, can't open the app. It just crashes.

Grammar!. Yes, it's free, but the inaccuracies and grammatical errors are unnerving; president regan was not assassinated, in addition to than vs then, affect vs effect, breadth vs breath. It reads as if written by an intelligent high school student.

Used to really like this app. But now, when I open it, the star in the lower right corner blinks but no text appears in the text pane. Totally useless now.
