Disabled but not really. I have an account that allows one connection so I tried adding it on Sessiontalk in case my hardphone stopped working. It’s disabled under accounts but I noticed it’s messing with my hardphone’s connection so I had to remove it. If it’s disabled it shouldn’t try connecting at all.

Negatively affects other apps. Open app, connect to provider, make a call, hang up, try to watch a video or record one or scroll through a list and you will see a stutter and lag. Force close this app and those things will go away. Took me a while to figure out it was this app causing all the problems on my phone.

Still crappy on iPad. I will also bump this review to five stars when it plays better on the iPad. It doesn’t do landscape or split screen. Ridiculous. Other than these two glaring flaws, this is the best SIP phone app on iOS.

Better than Bria!. This app works better than Bria! Which is a paid and expensive app. This works in background with no problems. I am able to use other apps and no disconnects. This is great! Thank you so much!

Great application. This is maybe only one SIP client on the market that does not tied to any Voip provider. It works fine. Looking forward for iPad version

Top in class!!!!. I have been waiting for perfect VOIP since long, and luckily I found this. It's a very high performance app. Call quality is amazing. This is certainly top in class.

quits all the time. immediately after launch

on iPad the app is unusable. On fresh install, the UI does not actually respond to touch actions. Tapping in a field to configure a Generic SIP account fails to activate the field. For me, the app is unusable on iPad. On iPhone, the app works basically fine. But on both devices the UI is brittle, buggy, and not polished.

Only 1 minutes n talk time. What a rip off, you only get one minute of talk time it hangs up on you unless you pay 5 dollars

Better than Bria. Bria is expensive and not keeping their words. I got premium features with Bria but they changed the plan to monthly charges. They should have continued grand fathered option. This phone way better than Bria no doubt. Glad I found it

Top in class VOIP app. An example of how every useful app should be! It's meaningful usable helps me always when needed. Highly recommend.

Needs a scheduled DND. This has every feature that one could need except scheduled DND. Many others offer it, but even so this works GREAT!

Best SIP Phone alternative. Solid app with all what you need to replace your physical IP Phone when you have a wifi PBX. No bugs no crashes background app keeps on running and does not drain your iphone’s battery.

Good app. This thing really works like charm

Works perfectly. With our Vocaloicty hosted PBX. Took about 3 min to set up my account. Call quality is good.

Bluetooth support. It does not stay connected to Bluetooth at the start of every call you have to pick the Bluetooth device. This is the softwares only drawback. It is defiantly easier to use than any other SIP phone

Works Good but room for improvement. Having tried multiple clients I decided to stick with this one for its simplicity to use and reliability. Shortcomings are: limited set of codecs and the inability to disable configured SIP accounts. So if you have configured multiple SIP accounts, all will register with the respective service and be listening to incoming call notifications. However, only the one that is "checked" will be used for outgoing calls. Two improvements should be high on the list: explicit IPAD support and Video calling.

Not bad. This app is suitable for voip telephones , local offices. But unfortunately,it doesn’t connect properly with internet. Be aware of upcoming updates every time,mayby,it will be fixed

Push notification does not work. Purchased push notification but it does not work unless the app is open and running

Error version. The version of your app on „app store iPhone“ is 6.57 but after installing on my phone its version shows 6.55. Please check this issue

App turns off when screen is locked with recent update. A weird issue when locking my IPhone now with the recent update. The app will shut off and not run until you unlock your phone and go back to the app. It didn’t use to do that and is kinda frustrating. Otherwise, the app works great for when I need to take calls on the road for IT help!

Seems decent, but has some minor bugs. This looked like the nicest SIP softphone app after checking a few out. It isn’t perfect, but it works. There are UI bugs when turning on and off features. They can be resolved by forcing the app to quit then relaunching. There are a few areas where the UI doesn’t follow normal iPhone app conventions such as non-standard toggles or unusual naming. A few things look to be copied from a 90s era Windows app.

Worked the first time. I downloaded about seven different sip apps trying to get one to register with no success. After installing this app, it's straight forward and clean interface made it super easy and it registered the first time. Great app.

Terrible. App crashes all the time, slow, incoming calls via FreePBX don’t work at all. Junk!

Easy setup and calling over wifi. Easy to setup and call quality is good over wifi.

UI needs improvement. This is a very good SIP app but has one VERY SERIOUS shortcoming that could be easily fixed. The font on the keypad is an extremely light shade of gray against a white background. It’s extremely difficult to see when used in daylight or sunlight. Should have high contrast and s black background with bright white characters. With this fix, this would be a great app.

Pointless. What purpose does it serve if it requires my phone to be unlocked and the app open to receive calls? It doesn't work in the background at all, so there's no use for this app when it simply doesn't work for incoming calls.

Works Great!!. Awesome! Easy setup and I connected to my Asterisk box without problems. SIP setup was simple and call quality was great. Great soft-phone app!!

It wasn't what I expected.. I payed for the codec 5.99$ + tax but the application is still in free mode and working with only one account! Update: Also I can't receive calls, when someone call me and I want to answer the app automatically decline.

Works good. The app is a little buggy but it does infact work.

Notifications not working correctly. I'm not receiving any missed call notifications. I can watch the phone ring, ignore it, and it will go away without any notification telling me that I missed a phone call. The only way I will know is by opening the phone app and there I will see a missed call. Everything else is working fine, but this feature being broken is a deal breaker for me until it's fixed.

Doesn’t answer 70% calls due to crashing. I have an iPhone 11 with the 14.5 iOS. The app has been crashing on 13-14 iOS as well. It won’t answer most calls and has often issues dialing out. Unable to copy and paste phone numbers without problems. Have to manually enter the # almost every time.

Great quality; Some bugs. Setup was simple. Generic SIP setup easy on Talkswitch and Allworx phone systems. Only immediate quirk I found was I need to close the app and reopen everytime I want to call outside numbers (internal extensions no problem) - keeps failing call attempts unless close and reopen. App does work though :)

Wifi not recognised. Purchased this app and wifi is not recognised. Says no network. Disappointed.

Great app!. Works all the time

Outgoing calls no luck. Setup easy and understandable, could receive calls bit real issues making calls, unlike on lim phone which could do both but had background running issues. Overall because of the outgoing call problems I am not willing to part with any money despite better background running performance

Pointless with 1 minute time limit. Seriously - what is the point of a SIP client app with a time limit on calls of 1 minute. I had high hopes of this app when I downloaded it and other that the time limit it looks good. However it really has no functionality with such a limit. Back to the drawing board!

Works well. Basic app that works well on my iPad. Trying to figure out where the other features such as messaging/call recording are but I don’t think it’s available on the free version.

Only allows 30 second calls. This application appears to be one of the best I have used so far with the exception of not having g.729 available over 3G/4G. Perhaps the full version does. What ruins this application is the 30 second call limit. Pathetic, how can one even properly evaluate the software prior to purchasing the full version with such limitations? If this company perhaps made this software more full featured with a 72 hour test period then it would be a serious contender for my favourite VoIP Softphone. I have used all the popular Softphones like Media5, Zoiper, etc. the worst experience was Bria which I highly discourage using after they refused a refund if you buy direct off them. Lucky I used PayPal and was able to submit a case and I got my nearly $100AUD returned to me.

Useless. Useless... Cut off after 1 minute. What's the point???

Works well. Works well, although I don’t use it often and it’s more of an inbound line that I have for business. After a while I get a notification that push notifications will be disabled. Is there a way to stop that? Also I personally don’t like the beach image that is set as standard, maybe a basic plain preset gallery of alternative images would be good or an option to turn off the image completely would nice.

1 min chat. Wished the author would specify the free version of the app only allow 1 min of free chat time. Pretty useless to put this up as free because it's not usable with this restriction

Doesnt work for pennytel. It will ring ! But can't hear a thing on calling and receiving side ！

Not registering.... Takes all the basic sip setting, saves them and then fails to connect. Complains about SIP allready in use. Able to use other SIP Clients (working ones like Fring). Will have to wait and see if they fix the connecting problem on Wifi.

Voip software. Very good software with lots of options, and can be used with Cisco Unified communication call manager solution!

Brilliant App. This app integrates with the phone very well, works like abnormal phone call. Easy to configure and great for use, you can even receive calls when the app isn't open / phone is locked 5/5

App crashing when making a call. The app crashes when attempting to make a call, and after leaving the app idle for a while. 2 emails sent to support with no response. Can this honestly be fixed it’s a pain to have to force close it every time I want to make a call!!

Great utility. Use it regularly. It is easy to use and accesses the address book seemlessly. Being able to configure 2 providers is very useful, although switching between them is a bit fiddly. Main setback, but this is the same for all SIP clients, is battery use. It is not possible to have the app open on standby for protracted periods

Was good before. Recently the app keeps shutting down and won’t run in the background. Seems to have happened with iOS 17. So I can no longer receive calls unless I leave the app open all the time.

Useless. Won't register regardless of what settings used. Mediafone5 and Voless work perfectly with the same settings. Keeps coming up No Network even though it's connected.

Active devs. Great app and easy to use. Active developers and support really responsive. A must have with your PBX installation.

Everything works!. I decided to give this app a try for my SIP configuration needs and I’m pleased to announce that all premium functionalities worked after having them manually configured and turned on. The simplicity of the app, call quality and push notification integration is what makes this app my goto VoIP app. Thank you for such a great product.

Drains battery. Despite not making a single call using this app yesterday it was the app that caused the largest drain on my battery (according to battery usage in settings). Stay away unless you keep your phone close to a charger.

One of the better options out there for sure!. The app doesn’t appear to be a user data harvesting machine, lol! The options provided are decent, and with other similar apps many cost money... Easy to setup and easy to use. Lastly, another commenter complained how his sms messages were being routed incorrectly after switching apps, and blaming it on these people... well, it’s practically impossible for all intents and purposes for this to happen... The protocols used plus the nature of how message routing works means that his story simply isn’t possible. However, iPhones in general have issues with sms routing and there are delays in changing this routing as a result of how iMessage works. This has been a very well known problem ever since iMessage came into existence. He needs to address any issues of this nature with them...

Frontkick. It will cut off your call at 3 mintes!!! Want to talk longer, have to pay 5.99 for SessionTalk SIP Client.

After deleting account they continue push my sms. After decided move from this Softphone to other and removed accounts from session talk they continued receiving all txt messages! The session talk push notifications took all sms first even account removed! After contacted support and exchanged 50 emails rear and back with same questions and same answers is not possible i sent them all pictures with showing proof! After they see pictures requested send them log . Log sent never hear from them again! Very bad ! Can’t use my sms messages with other softphone i bought! By the GDPR after remove account they have immediately remove all of my information! But they not !

Issues answering when rings can't answer. This app had good audio routing through Bluetooth, and good feedback control though it caused playback in apps to pause. Always had issues answering calls when it would ring or at times issues getting controls to show when dialing. Tried over several versions on iPhone 7 and not getting better.

Time limit. This should be made more clear. This version cuts off after 1 minute leaving you looking like an idiot if you were not aware and on your first 1 minute plus call.

No letters on keypad??. Once you’re in a call, if you switch back to keypad mode in order to dial by name on some IVR systems, you can’t because they don’t have the letters on the numbers. Which makes this useless because most IVR systems I call I dial by name.

Crashes often on latest version. The latest release claimed stability fixes, but I have now having constant crashes while on call. I like the app, but it seems to be reaching its end of life.

Soft phone connected to Isabel PBX. I love this soft phone and I have tried a few of them. This one fits my needs.
