Essential to Those Who Prefer Fact Over Bronze Age Nonsense. This app is well designed and easy to use. It contains a large amount of information about specific topics relative to the atheist/agnostic/skeptic. Granted, I know a lot of the information already but it's nice to be able to reference this program when needed. And for the believer; don't discredit what you can't disprove. Give the arguments a look over.

Pretty good--and could be better!. Most of the arguments I'm already familiar with, but I'll have to admit that this would probably help those who have recently been introduced to debate should give this a quick look. The guide provides some details about the more common theistic arguments, and also specifies which fallacies lie hidden in them. Also included, some helpful notes on related subjects including belief, humanism, and tips for the reader on applications of skepticism. Worth it.

Great pocket (iPhone) Reference!. I have been looking for an App such as this for a while. What a great resource for critical thinking/skepticism, humanism, and atheism! The atheism part might turn off a believer from buying this App, but I would still highly encourage any critical thinking person to get it, believer or not! You can still be a skeptical person about most everything in life outside the God question!

Going into battle. Wow, I cannot wait to see future updates!! This is such a good tool to use on the tools of the lunatic America we live in, it saddens me religion has survived simply by being slammed into children's brains for thousands of years... If you are teaching your children religion, you owe it to yourself, your kids, and their future kids to at least question whAt is considered fact & what is just a gimmick for control and obedience. Educate yourself and let's look forward to progression instead of counting down till the end.

Great to have at hand. I often read points in books that I say "I have to remember that the next time I get in a religious discussion". But of course never do remember. Having this on my phone it is always available to brush up on those quick points. Very logically organized and easy to find your point. And the talking points are concise and easily digested.

Concise consideration of the topics. It is mind boggling how pervasive religious superstition is in the American culture. The structures that support it are organized because they have something to gain, power and money. Objective reason challenges this superstition and prevails at least in logic. However, the rhetoric associated with religious superstition seems too be far more effective at persuading the masses. This app helps respond to many of the key arguments from a rhetorical perspective. We need more of this. Thanks.

Great app. Debateme must not have passed the 8th grade to call this app "9th grade level." I feel the arguments were very thought-provoking and seemingly rational. Of course, this is only a small collection of arguments, but enough to make one skeptical; as long as they practice free will and are open minded. I can't wait to share this app with my fellow Atheists, Agnostics, Naturalists, and Humanists. There are more than many would think!

One stop shopping for countering apologetics. Nearly everything you need is here in this guide. This is the basic tool set to counter Christian apologetics used to defend their bankrupt worldview.

Was a Christian for 25 years. I was an active God loving church going deeply involved Christian from my teenage years into adulthood. When I finally allowed myself to face questions that burned me through all those years, the sham that was my religion began to unravel. Please read this research and then do your own! Investigate with an open mind. You will be shocked at what you will find.

Very weak, uninformed.. "At least hell will have rockn' music"... Seriously?... Most of the author's points are atheism 101, and are presented with a weak understanding of Christianity. As a brief but fundamental example, the author states that God is not just because he forgives criminals if they except Jesus and doesn't punish them for their crimes. But the author fails to address the Christian concepts of grace (yes, God is not just towards the criminals) and atonement (yes, God is just in that no sin goes unpunished.) If you want to debate baby Christians this app might be useful, but against someone who understands their faith and theology well this app will be of little value.

Needs MORE content. I enjoyed reading it. I actually read the whole thing in a few hours. Lots of good ideas and talking points. My criticism is that each subject could be improved and MORE content provided. I think more content,talking points, etc are needed. I understand the author has a Christian background, but need more topics to specifically address other religions. For example, I grew up Christian now Atheist, my husband raised Muslim now Atheist. Would love more talking points catering to debates with Muslims, and Hindus, wiccans etc... Needs to be a "universal" atheist debater not heavy to just Christianity. Good read though!

Excellent educational app!. I have always felt that the fight against ignorance is knowledge and education. This app proves it. The first time I sat down and started to read this, honestly, I began to laugh. The truth told within here is the best ammunition available as an app to fight those horrific bible thumpers that tell those who don't believe the same thing that they do that they are going to burn in hell. Fight them with knowledge, logic, and reasoning (and a little known thing called common sense). This app helps as a great quick reference guide to the ammunition needed. Thank you to the creator for thinking the same way I do, and allowing others like me to have access to this excellent app. I would love to shake your hand!

Wealth of Knowledge. What a great app! This should be a required course in public schools. It teaches people how to think critically. It’s a positive approach to being a human. It’s a shame that there’s no way to do that without making religions look bad.

Great for Non-deists All Over. I was very excited to see that there was an app for atheists. I love having my own silly desires for a "god" to be real brought back to the world of the here and now, which is to say the world of reason. These arguments keep me grounded and thinking for myself, which is what my instincts tell me to do at all times, and I have come to believe that my instincts are usually very right. This is well put together. My only criticism is that the author does not note where he got some of his arguments. I would like it if there were little numbers to click on that would take us to a note citing the source of the information. You just know that a Christian zealot is gonna go, "And where did you get that information?" I'd hate to say, "From the guy who wrote the Atheist Debater app." So with the update, please include citations of sources of information. Thanx!

Easily refutable. I went through every single argument and found so many arguments that rely on the ignorance of the other person. For instance Apollonius does not have any surviving texts wrote by him, a biography written by another person. There are several historians that write of Christ, Josephus mentions Him twice, Pliny the younger, and Tacitus are a few. They quote Ehrman as if he disbelieve Christ. To the contrary, he himself even says there is more evidence to support Christs existence than almost anyone else in history! Why isn't that point mentioned. The "points" on mythology are bogus claims and again rely on the other persons ignorance of basic mythology. They seem to think it is ok to say that all these mythological figures all had the exact same story as Christ, nothing could be further from the truth! As for Christian manuscripts, claiming that scribes must have changed things and being able to prove it are two different things. We can use the writings of the early church fathers to prove this incorrect, AND we can compare our "copied" versions to say the dead sea scrolls and they match prrfectly. If we used thus same skeptical logic for everything, then the only logical conclusion is to deny 99% of our history. It's false logic that is being used and only applied to Christianity.

God fear ? There's an app for that !. Debunking myths Freeing Humanity from suppressive dominator religions is no easy task . Just start with one of your own weakest beliefs like the tooth fairy or some silly superstition like friday the 13th. Once you start you'll realize how many crazy ideas you've been feed and are passing along to any poor fool gullible enough to believe it ! Start with the low hanging fruit . Go for the gold !

Very weak.. This app does a disservice to both thoughtful atheists and Christians alike. Better arguments can be found for atheism, and the straw-man Christianity these arguments attack is a joke. There can be a strong point made for either side, but all this app does is confirms what a an immature atheist already believes and lulls them into a sleepy superiority complex. To assume your intellectual opponent is stupid is always a bad idea. Always deal with the strongest form of an ideology, not it's weakest. One example of the poor quality of this app is it's treatment of Pascals wager. The wager is not an argument for God. Pascal merely Dias that if one had examined all the evidence and was in completely neutral stance, it makes sense to wager on God's existence, which is only reasonable. I doubt there is ever really a situation where this comes into play, and Christians who use this as a defense of their beliefs are failing at life. They are probably half to blame for this kind of thinking in the first place.

keep up the good work. I have read just about everything in the app, I hope he keeps adding more. with the amount of bible apps we need more like this to even things up. also Apple need to move all the bible apps to their own list so we do not need to see them every time we log on to the store.( FYI i am wiccen and love it when people write the truth ). if you more look up freethought.

FREE THINKING. very well done!! this is a must have! even if you are a hardcore atheist and know most of the info in this app it really helps to have it handy. mainly cause the bible and religion in general have so many contradictions that it's hard to keep track of all the… well I don’t want to get vulgar. Really though this app IS a MUST have especially if you are new to the idea of having TRUE free will and thinking !!!

Disappointing. The arguments are often childish, and even where correct, not well presented. These might do if you are debating with the dimwits who may knock on your door to tell you "the good news", but will come across as naïve when having a discussion with anyone with a more sophisticated take on things. In many places it takes a straw man approach, arguing against a version of Christianity that isn't really believed by many followers (e.g., the doctrine of "love me or burn"). In other places (historical Jesus) it doesn't reflect the best of research. The text formatting, particularly the use of underlining for emphasis, is just one example of the poor visual design. As an atheist, I'm not sure whether to be happy or chagrined that people have found this useful. I guess am glad that it has had a positive (from my perspective) effect; but I think that it reflects poorly on the level of discussion that these arguments are have been found valuable.

Masterpiece!!!. This is the best written interpretation of reality and life! I am so thankful that I am not alone in this world! Great work. It all takes place right here, right now and each and every life is precious! Oh, and to Doreen Kunt- you have fully justified yourself and cemented Ur level of intellect by admitting to bear the education and thought capacity of those in less developed countries. it's okay if this is over Ur head and can only comprehend life in such a primitive way. Anti theist. Fantastic app, I desperately need another! I’m a closet atheist and this is helpful. It walks through several major topics in simplicity. A must for new atheists.

A breath of fresh air..... Writing this on 'Good Friday' is a good example of the usefulness of this app. The silliness and (sad) earnest at which people take the bible (and religion) serious shows how much a large part of (American) society still lives in the Dark Ages! Where I live (US Virgin Islands, Caribbean) there is a law that alcohol cannot be served on Good Friday between 09:00 and 16:00. This law is based upon the bible, though no one on island can pinpoint where it specifically states that fact. Yet people follow it 'religiously'.... pun intended :-) 16:01 sees a lot of thirsty people ordering their much-missed alcoholic beverage.... :-) Get this app and learn (or maintain) critical thinking!

The master debater!!. Handy little app that covers wide array of common "well how do you explain this" retorts from friends or neighbors who can't understand why you don't believe. Also highly recommend it FOR these people so they can understand the humanist stance a little better. It is even categorized for easy reference. If you find that you frequently have to defend your stance then this is the app for you, it says what we are all thinking but it - unlike our thoughts in the heat of an argument- remains organized and composed ;) great light reading too if you want to prepare for a talk or presentation

A very concise and needed app. I too heard Jason Hagen on Freethought Radio and immediately downloaded it. I am in the process of moving through the different stages of non-belief and this is helpful to guide me to further expanding my thinking and argument. It is not meant to be complete, but to provoke thought. I appreciate the work that went into it. Hopefully we'll see more apps like it.

Great app.. Military grade facts & easily understandable.

No debating about it, A MUST HAVE!. This app gets 5 stars, it's like having a really interesting book on logical thinking in your pocket. I found it thought provoking and somewhat enlightening. It's also very easy to copy and paste which is nice. I don't rate things very often but I must say, other than a few minor grammatical errors, the author and creators of this app did a great job! It's worth the money.

It keeps getting better. This app keeps getting better. It now remembers your place when you switch apps or turn off your iPhone. It's obvious to me that Jason Hagen, the creator and author of the app, is committed to improving the app. Also, you can write Jason and he'll write you back quickly. He's open to comments and suggestions, which I believe is crucial for this type of app/topic.

Handy reference app for the skeptical. Although I have never had the opportunity to use this app in a debate (most of the fanatics that I have discussions with are typically not swayed by logic), the app itself is really quite useful. I find my self browsing through it's various articles frequently. I appreciate that the author has divided the articles into three quick reference categories: Humanist (for gaining a better understanding of the ethics and philosophy behind secularism), Skepticism (my favorite, contains an excellent reference for recognizing bad logical arguments), and Atheism (focuses specifically on arguments commonly used by theists and atheistic responses to them). Kudos for mentioning James Randi.

Religion seperates people. Awesome job! LET G-O-D (If he exist) judge you when he/she is face to face with you!! Not some fake books written by many other sinners! Lol This app is expectacular! Very factual and down to earth! One thing you all religious people should ask ur selfs... Excellent App. This is a very fine app. It has lots of interesting information, is well organized, and delivers what the App Store description promises. I like that the information is presented in easy to read, succinct chunks. The search feature is very useful. I also like that the author presents the information in purely logical, unemotional, non-attacking fashion. He is not disrespecting the religionists themselves, but instead providing intelligent reasons why maybe they should question their theistic and religious beliefs.

Really not bad.... When i am on the train and stupids are talking jesus, looking through this app prevents me from reducing them to nothing. I used to engage them. Now i can satisfy that "wow, how can people really belive these crazy stories in this day and age?" frustration, by simply looking through this app. Thanks! Many mindless sheep that used to get embarrassed (rightfully so) also thank you. It is a good basic app that reiterates most of what you guys already feel. this app is a amazing informative read.. I purchased this app because I like so many people often question the existence of god, Jesus, the mesiah, yada yada.. When I read the first paragraph I was instantly drawn in to this mans knowledgeable words. he doesn't force you to believe what he writes about but he invites you to look at logic and reason and decide for yourself If this oh so mighty deity actually existed. I can say with apsolute certaintly that I am inspired and compelled by this mans words. he provides valid intelligent counter statements to the bibles teachings and makes a individual look inside himself and discover if atheism is the right way for you. I havnt decided if religion is right for me yet but this app has increased my knowledge about a very controversial topic and has helped me to understand why atheist believe what they do. I'm looking forward to the update and I applaud you dear author. Your words helped me in more ways then I can say.

Religious Freaks Beware. Are you an Atheist or Agnostic but feel as if you are little unprepared or perhaps unarmed with enough argumentative points to debunk the most staunchest of Christians or the like? This is the app for you! This app is loaded with information and interesting facts that is sure to give you the confidence to crash any bible study. Or maybe you are on the fence already and ready to come out of the religious closet and just need a little more questions answered, again this app is for you. If you are an avid reader you can read the whole thing in one sitting, but an occasional reread to refresh your arguments can't hurt. A must have if you like to spike the proverbial punch at any party. WARNING!! You May Make Some Enemies...

Great!. I haven't written a review of any app. but I definitely had to for this one. This was a great $3 spent and would do it over in a second. This app. has developed my mind stronger in my beliefs (or lack thereof). Thank you so much Jason! I look forward to more articles to the app. in the future. I would recommend this application to anyone, if fact I already have to many! Or urge to read on my phone at the least...

I've been blessed so many times. This app is very good - it gives you one side while we grew up on another side. But my testiment is that I have been blessed so many times. Prayers are answered but not always on our time. Sometimes quick sometimes later. Two cases - I won $500 twice since April so I was able to buy two Ipads for our Bible study for our elderly ladies who can't see very well. My other case - I'm still alive after many hospital visits and diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension. I have a personal Pastor from Manila, I have a five-star chef that cooks for our family. I recommend this app since it helps you decide if our Lord Christ, or your religion is right for you. Becuase in time, you'll know. I hope we can talk about this later - that is what the app is for.

Unintelligent. Far too many straw-man approaches at the Bible. I find flaws i'n all his arguments, first and most obvious is his defense of evolution. He states that evolution is "not only a fact, but a scientific theory." That statement is repugnant, if it was a fact, based on evidence, then we could prove it, and would no longer call it a theory. The FACT that we cannot prove it's process is why it is theory. Scientific theory is different than music theory, contrary to the authors own explanation;) Evolution is explained as random mutations, which is unscientific, it hasn't been observed, also unscientific, and man has yet to recreate or force evolution of a species in a controlled environment. Failing all 3 criteria for a scientific process, I would like to know where the facts come from, certainly not the 99.9% of the scientific community that believe in the theory, or was that statistic also a lie, you'll have to open your minds and actually research these things on your own, or remain ignorant to the facts. There is more empirical evidence to prove Jesus raised Himself from the dead than the THEORY of specific evolution.

Eye-opening.. This app really opened my eyes and put words (regular, everyday words and not over-thought and over-complicated vocabulary) to all the things I always felt and thought. It made me realize that there people with similar philosophies to mine and it put evidence to things I could not. This is a very great app and well worth the cost of a soda and bag of chips.

Awesome SKEPTICS app!. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this! It's great to for quick reference and I have used it more than once. The Author does great job showing that the bible itself is the biggest reason to reject the Christian religion. Not only on scientific and logical grounds, but moral ones as well. I began wondering how much of the bible does the typical Christian actually believe? How far gone are they? Do they literally believe The story of Noah's ark? Jonah and the whale? Adam and Eve and the snake? Sampson and his magical hair? How about that Jesus was born from a virgin woman that was impregnated by god himself, and she gave birth to the son of god, Jesus? It is entertaining how the Author tells the stories showing how utterly ridiculous they are in the face of science, historical evidence, and just common sense. Even normal children know the stories aren't true! It also lays out just how immoral the bible teachings actually are, and, if you look at the personality of the god depicted in the bible - he's horrible! The "good book" is not a good book at all - it is a very poor ethical guide that promotes bigotry. People often become atheists because they've read the bible. Go ahead, read it!!

Needed about time. Well put together but admitted non academics effort. I guess these points are simple enough Dawkins and Harris are not necessary to put together something like this. It's just good that this knowledge has been collected in an organized manner. I don't think this will be read by any Believers since it would simply be to painful to be faced with such simple logic.

Great for helping the ignorant. App is a little expensive and ideally it should be free like most of the bible apps. I hope there is more content added in future updates.

Dumbed down dawkins. If you couldn't understand the god delusion this is for you. It's overly simplistic, and I expected more for the price but a good start.

A little basic for the price. I realize the goal is to fit intelligent arguments into a small app but it's not that well written, content titled or organised. For half the price it would be better. However still worth supporting for a Skeptic.

Weak. Author/creator could've put more work and effort into this. I feel this was just an half-baked effort to sell an app. There are some insights, but nothing you can't find free on the internet like irochariots.org, atheist debates by Matt Dillahunty etc, the many blogs and YouTube videos available. The App is basically just a bunch of rich text files with basic formatting, probably written on MS word, stitched together. I think it's a bit of a rip off especially for the price. Expected much more and very disappointed.

A great app. This app is great. It validates so much for me. I have introduced it to a few friends who are somewhat struggling with old dangerous religious dogma. It is a great tool for those who are in transition from being brainwashed to liberated. Thank you

Excellent content! Rational, well thought out but with some questionable bits. Less so the app.. It's great to see an app like this. The concept is very good and the information provided is well thought out and rational. In places, it's not up to the standards of Dawkins et al, but does a great job of summarising many of the credible arguments against religion and religious belief. Given Dawkins' prowess and linguistic capabilities, it's perhaps a little unfair for me to compare this author (or indeed anyone else) against such a heavy-weight The app itself is a little disappointing. Essentially, it's a small book presented in app form, with sections separated into individual pages that are categorised and presented in three main groups. The categorisation is actually quite useful but overall, the app will seem to come up short for anyone expecting anything other than a small book. For the iPad platform, there is so much more potential that could have been reached by making use of multimedia concepts. From a content point of view, it gets a lot of kudos but from an app point of view, it could do so much better. Overall, I'd highly recommend it.

Nice to finally have an app for Atheists. There's way too many apps devoted to indoctrinating people with bronze age dogma, and not nearly enough devoted to skeptical thinking. An aside to all app devs: please write more science reference apps ;)

I'm a Christian but well done. Okay so I'm a Christian and I decided to download this app, it's a good app for people who don't know what their beliefs are, and all the points are still very arguable in the nature that it is being argued, I could just reverse the question on whoever uses these "debates" and see if they can answer it, they are all common arguments that I've had, but the fact of the matter is, when it comes down to things if you "debate" with a religious person that knows what they are talking about, let's just say you may not be happy with the results. Good luck on your journeys and believe in what you want, bravo on the app though I enjoyed reading the "debate" atheists would put up. I read this with an open mind, because I like to know what other people are thinking about other religions.

Not worth the money.. Anyone who is an atheist has already heard most of these arguments or uses them in regular debate. It's nice to have a quick reference guide but you really need to lower the price. Minus one star for every dollar it's overpriced by.

Would have been ok if it was 99c or free.. It's nowhere near worth $2:99. Spend a few dollars more and get the book The God Delusion by Dawkins instead. Wayyy more info, and better arguments put forward. I am disappointed in this. :(

Efficient. Covers all the basic topics

Good handy reference for debating the blind believers. I've encountered people who are so totally blind they are unable to see any rational information that may challenge their religious beliefs. This reference summarizes in plain common sense a long list of points for debate, and even has some points that are very gentle and lead the debate through tiny steps that may help open some eyes. The app is a good read, and re-read, during those times when you are on the bus, the plane, waiting for your next appointment, and so on. I have the Dawkins boom "The God Delusion", and yes, this app is worth the extra price to supplement Dawkins.

Awesome Reference For Any Atheist. Great arguments and rebuttals included in this handy app. The price IS too high as compared to other apps but it does contain a lot of great information. If it was a mere $1.00 I would have given it 5 stars. With that said... you can easily spend that $3 on a coffee so in the scheme of it all - it is worth the asking price. Good2have. Why anyone would give this app a bad rating is beyond me. When confronted with the same arguments over and over again, just ask why they can not ask anything new? Most atheists know more than creationists and now you can have canned answers to canned questions. Nothing better than watching the Gish Gallop in action when confronted by a creationist who thinks that they have tuff questions and you have the answers in a new compact form in your hand! Great to have someone step forward and bring this tool to the common closet atheist! Thank you for the app!

Not as good as it makes itself out to be. I guess this is an okay app... I guess... It makes itself out to be better than it really is by mentioning some of the bigwigs in science who happen to be atheistic and saying that they give this app their stamp of approval but really, there aren't any other atheistic apps out there so what else are they going to say about the only app on the app store that's atheistic.

Let's make this #1. Thank you for this app! We need more information like this out there. Maybe a free or light version could be made so that the curious but hesitant can access some of this without committing to a purchase.

Love this App. I don't know how anyone with a fully functional brain could still believe in the supernatural after reviewing this app. A great crash course for dye in the wool religious folks who may have doubts about what they have been spoon fed all their lives.

Very good app. Full of information and nuggets of insight. I subscribe to a different philosophy but I enjoyed this app all the same. Read it and learn. You don't have to agree to know good work and effort. Every philosophical position should have such an app.

Early enlightenment. I'm 67 now, but I saw the hypocrisy in religion when I was 11 or 12. I was raised in a Jewish house and was refusing to be Bar Mitzvahed but relented because my father raised such a fuss about being embarrassed in the community. I made one condition though - that he would never again require me to go to a religious service. Thanks for being a voice for us all!

Enlightenment and Reason at your finger tip. I heard about this app in the NYTimes. I'm usually a free app person, but I have to say this was totally worth it. It's a must have for anyone who is tired of the religious right claiming ownership over everything. It will enlighten you!

FINALLY!!. I was waiting for an app like this. At first when I downloaded it I thought the arguments were a bit short. After messing with the app a few days later, I noticed a little white arrow at the bottom of each argument. Was happy to see there were many more pages to read for each one.

I love this app!. I've read the first section and you basically summed up my thoughts on the whole church thing. I started questioning when I was 16 and going to Wednesday church. I finally declared Atheism when I was 18. I highly recommend this app to all of humanity. Thank you. :)

4/5. Great app, 4/5 because source/background material needs a little better referencing and the authors grammar could use a very small amount of editing. On the whole though, the app is very good and packed with deep, well-researched and easily digestible information.

Fun, intelligent, and easy. This is a great app. I wish it was a little better documented in-text, but the bibliography is a great resource. There is lots of good information on the logical fallacies and forming an argument. The textbooks I use don't describe fallacies this well. There is also great information on being a secular humanist. The way the author displays Biblical discrepancies is a fun factoid as well.

Nice app.... ...but it could use a little polish design-wise. And some of the writing is a little rant-y -- perhaps a bit more neutrality and straightforward wiki-like info would seem more professional. I'd like to see more branching -- links to other references inside the app and outside for source checking to make it legit. Wonderful first attempt!

Awesome. All three parts of this app are great to read and have on hand. I especially enjoyed the section called "What about death?" in the humanism section. Definitely worth the money.

Extremely Desirable. Tools such as this are very important for individuals that value the stability of a coherent and fortified argument. Many of us skeptics are able to assess an argument well, but it can be hard to defend a position when all of one's points are scattered in the back of his mind. This app can help organize your thoughts, making it invaluable for the rational argument.

Should be required reading in all grade schools!. I wish I had heard of the AHA and had this app long ago. The type of thinking espoused in this app and the many links provided will be the only salvation of the human race. A must read and an app to show all of your family, friends and acquaintances.

Nice 'quick-reference'. This is a great little app to help articulate some of the most glaring flaws found in modern religions. It would be great to see future updates that could provide more in-depth references and cite specific examples to back up the arguments being made. Overall though, this is a great tool to have!

INCREDIBLE APP!!!. Jason Hagen has authored an amazing app. I have purchased three copies so far, one for my iphone and two ipods. The great thing is that the content is constantly growing and improving. There is no question, if you are interested in atheism, skepticism, humanism and freethought, you need to BUY THIS APP!

Awesome. I do agree it needs some work and validation for a more formal type of debate, but it provides quick refference to great info and passages from the bible. Great if you have a bible reader app with a few bible versions, really helps drive in your point.

Very informative. This has a large variety of information. But it could never have too much. I only wish it gave equal time to debate other religions besides Christianity. Every time I read it, I feel like if I wasn't debating a Christian, I'd be sunk. But it is indeed quite informative.

Very comprehensive and well organized. The topic is on for which there aren't enough summary articles. This app fill the gap and you may find yourself debating your own beliefs. The updates are free and show that the developer is committed to this project.

Fantastic book. A lot of apps aren't worth the price but for all of it's compactness this one is well worth it. Great reading with plenty of ammunition to enter any discussion. The talking points go well beyond religious arguments.

Well worth the cost!. I listened to Jason's interview on the Freedom From Religion podcast yesterday and purchased the app while still listening. He really impressed me and I'm not disappointed with the app. Thanks so much for putting this info into a concise, easy to understand read. Perfect for introducing others to the philosophy.

Needs to be updated for multitasking. Decent read, good references, but every time you switch away to a different app, you have to navigate back to the page you were on. This is extremely frustrating. Updating for fast app switching would make this a 4 star app.

Very Well Thought-Out. I loved this application/book. Very logical. Highly recommended. The only thing I didn't like is the few spelling errors, at least ten throughout. Someone with such intelligence and critical thinking should be careful about his spelling.

Not possible. I downloaded the app because I wanted to be more knowledgeable as to what arguments where out there against religion. See, I am a Christian. This app has helped me become more knowledgeable as to how to defend my beliefs, for there is not one argument that can't be refuted with the Bible! Thank you so much for your help!

Very good arguments.. This app is one of the ones that just gives you a big smile when it comes to learning more information about how to debate a theist. Absolutely thrilling to look through on your spare time. I just wish he would cover some Of the astronomy arguments. Other than that, it's worth it!

Small iOS 5 issue. I love this app. It has a lot of great info. Since updating to iOS 5 it crashes every time you try to change the font or color. I even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it without any change. I read easier with the inverted color scheme, elsewhere called night mode. I would greatly appreciate it if that could be fixed.

Many of the biggest contentions.. This debater has many different points to make, and while it does occasionally fall off of it's objective railings, the majority of it's contents are explained in adequate detail and are supported with logical foundation. I look forward to future updates.

Well written. The arguments/explanations are well written, and encourage critical thinking for all, not just for atheists. A nicely done bibliography--I appreciate the work that has gone into this. Great to See This Represented. I've been searching for an app like this for some time. I'm glad that we've finally found one. For all the other religious stuff out there, we should certainly have more available, but this is an incredible start.

I can't imagin better!. It is the most wonderful and powerful tool to use against creationists, religious people to make them feel what they should feel for believing absurd things.

Useful and handy when trying to argue against theists. I found this app to be most useful when confronted with pseudo-scientific and pseudo-philosophical claims about reality. If theists are good at anything, they are good at distorting the truth by using mind games and circular reasoning. This app helps put those unsound arguments to rest and provides atheists with a useful guide to defend the truth.

App need an update.. I give all the stars but since this app has been invented when are we gonna have an update? Please don't make it sound like the bible that the only update is based on the grammar.

Useful Yet Superficial. This App is absolutely fabulous for a somewhat self-gratifying read-through and for a casual debate with your average, semi-intelligent religious type. It skims over the broad topics and has some great moments in doing so; I salute the author for boiling down many complicated ideas into simplicity. Although it skips over much heavy duty analysis, the App is certainly worth the $$

Not bad, but some of the information is just incorrect. It's not bad, actually there are some arguements that I'd never heard and were interesting. The facts I know a lot about unfortunately like mithraism and pagan influences on Christianity are slightly ridiculous. A lot of speculation and a lot of leaving out details to arive at the conclusion decided on from the start.
