Doesn’t work, too old. Apparently this app is just lingering in the App Store… it doesn’t work at all. I signed into my server using my Microsoft credentials (I should change those now…) and the app says I am not an administrator… except that I am. It’s the only account on the box and it is fully privileged. I knew it was too good to be true.

Doesn't work at all.. I have this app all setup to a laptop running xp, full blown admin permissions, password and all, and it keeps saying, you may not be an admin, and access denied. If I'm admin that can't happen. It connects but I can't do anything.

Great app, but it has bugs. This is a great app, but like many other it has bugs. Restart doesn't work anymore, after purchasing the full core version I noticed the config dose not load and there's no action button when browsing file on remote computer, therefore cannot paste file to remote computers. I hope these bugs get fix soon!

Great Update!. Server Control has always been useful, but the 2.0 adds "Scan" support, easier to use, and a more modern design. Thanks for the update!

Great app, but I can't use it. I think it's a great app, and I would love to see a version that doesn't crash because of my company's long FQDN. The problem was fixed in NetPortal, so why not in ServerControl?

iPad version?. Love the iPhone version.... When is the iPad/Universal version coming out? Would like to see additional remote windows admin features added. Richard in Oklahoma City

Sc to the rescue!. Was just in the mountains on a hike when I received a call from a client stating the blackberry server was "down". With this particular server, a reboot has never failed to fix it(that or restarting all the bes services). Established a VPN to the site, connected to the box with server control, reboot, and they were back up in a few min. Server control saved my sat hike! Thanks guys!

Delete non-empty directories as an option. I like the browse shares feature! Need to have the option to delete directories with files in them instead of not being able to delete them at all.

Must have for Administrators. You can set up access to multiple machines. Shut down processes or entire pc. When you get that HELP phone call. See all running applications and processes and fix it from wherever you are. A real life saver. Combine it with netportal or the browser this company also sells and you have all you need to be the hero of the IT dept.

Need an iPad version. This software works great on my iPhone, but on the iPad it's only so-so. I noticed I cannot access shares when connecting from my iPad. Also the screen resolution size is made for the iPhone. I can 2x it, but then it distorts.

dont work at all. One restart=wont work anymore I pressed shut down then i started my pc tried to connect never worked tried to change my ip didnt connect at all. Sorry but I will never but app from this company ever in my life.

Doesn’t work anymore. Been using the app to control a home media center, and have really liked it. Since win10 creators edition though, it now gives me connection errors. It still connects to the computer through the account, but when requesting to restart/shutdown, generates an error. Would love to see an update come through for this as this app hasn’t had an update in over a year.

Very useful, no added software. I really like this app to make sure my home computers are shutdown at the end of the day. It's great that there is no agent to install and configure on the clients. I would however recommend setting the GPO to rename your administrator account before you enable it for more security. Filebrowser and net portal are also great apps by the same developer. It would be nice to see the apps all merged into one with wake on LAN added to the mix.

Wish it had Wake on LAN. great little app, though wish it had wake on lan and also wish it was supported on IOS4 so it doesn't shutdown what I was in if I minimize it.

. This is good apps for IT sys Admin but this free version can not control service or restart server unless buy a full version.

Life Saver for IT Admins!. This is a fantastic software, until now it does exactly what it is supposed to do, quickly and easier than some full system alternative!

Great!. This app is great! As a sysadmin this app has made my life easier at work. Able to connect to Windows XP, 7, Server 2000, 2003, 2008, 2008 R2 and control services with no problems. Support is great and many issues are addressed very well on their website. This app paired with their NetPortal app are probably the 2 most useful Windows IT administration apps I use! Great job guys keep it up, would love to see more great products come from you all.

w00t!. I just installed this app and it is working great! Sometimes I cannot access a computer\server remotely with RDP and you just need to reboot the thing. Well I don't need to find a PC\Mac and open up DOS\Terminal to run a remote shutdown \ restart command when you have this App. Quick and easy! I love that it is free and I can also view my services. Great for people who image computers with PXE and need to restart the service. I am going to buy the add-on for this app. Just what I was looking for.

User. This app really works great. I had issues shutting down winxp and windows 7 but with help of support I was able to resolve it immediately.

Needs work. It's ok basically it's using WMI in windows to send commands and view etc... UI needs work and needs better work with error message support.

Fantastic. Does exactly what it says and DOES work without having to install any stupid programs on the PCs. Make sure you set up the admin account on your PC correctly if you do this it will work. So much quicker then having to log into a server and initiate a shutdown command.

works very well. The app works very well though UI graphic is in low resolution. WOL function will be nice addition.

Only for Windows server. This product only works for Windows server and their products, not for Mac, I would give 5 stars if it works for all platforms. It is a good product though.

work as advertise. it has the features i'm looking for. wish it work with dlink dns-323 but cant them since it is running linux

As Advertised. Works perfectly and it allows me to remotely manage services and servers. The only downside is it's lack of a few features that I would like to see. A perfect companion to a Remote Desktop application.
