Quick and easy. I enjoy the ability to go back and read the articles. News events have more information.

Give the news instead of teaser headlines. Trying get people to look at or deceiving headlines are non-consumer friendly. Usually when you finally get to the story it is too long and the typeface is too small to read. Why not use bullet points first so people can devoid they want to read more? The WSB News app is not a newspaper, especially on your cellphone. I basically stopped checking you for news because of that, and I am certain I’m not alone

Wsb-TV notifications. When I click on a notification regarding breaking news or a interesting story. It will not let me go the break story. Just on the phone page.. better yet.. the story doesn’t show up at all. Can that be fixed?

Why??. I use to be able to watch live news streams at 4pm but that disappeared along with breaking news that doesn’t appear anywhere when you click on it. Just shaking my head at this useless app!!

Buffering. To much buffering when it get started you’ll they only one that does that. Can you please look into that issue I enjoy watching here in the low country of South Carolina

Disappointing. It’s been a while, so I’m refreshing my review of this app. Unfortunately it’s still two stars. I can’t remember how long it’s been, but at the last major update to this app on the iPad, the developers made a terrible design choice. The main feature of this app is the live stream, where you can watch the news live. For some reason they decided that it would be a good idea to create an overlay on top of the top headlines and put the video in that overlay, making the overall video less than 50% of the screen size. Really?!?! I might as well use my phone. At least the iPhone version is full screen. The other issue is the constant buffering. Does not matter how good my connection is, the video stream buffers about every 3 minutes. With these issues, I rarely use this app. Just not worth it.

Don’t be afraid to be the voice of Atlanta. Congratulations on inciting unrest and demoralizing police officers who protect us. A innocent George Lloyd was murdered by a bad cop. Bad criminals murder good cops all the time. What will happen if APD is disbanded? Oh that’s right they want to start a organization to take its place that will work on the problems APD is having with its policing. Let’s say how they set their policies when pulling over a felon with warrants who has a loaded gun in his lap. Bet you they will over react from time to time after a couple of their officers get killed..

Latest Version chewing up battery life. Yesterday my iPad was in sleep mode most of the day and when I awoke it to check something my battery was at 14% and I recharged it. Today I powered up the iPad which was at 100%, and within a few minutes it was down to 96%. I checked battery and it attributed 100% of battery use was due to this app. I have deleted this app until they fix the problem.

App Issues. Good day! I have followed wsb for over 25 years. I love you news programming. My only issue is the app functionality. I have had multiple phones in recent years. In which I just purchased a new iPhone. But the app seems to have numerous glitches from freezing, to taking long times loading & crashing. And has been consistently that way for years. Just wanted to share this with you. I will still support you with my viewership. Thank you

iOS / very buggy notifications. Every iOS app has issues running the WSB-TV News app - 4 iPhones, 4 iPads - all have the same issues. 9 times out of 10, when you click the pop-up notification, the app opens but no article. Searching through the article list, no link to the notification. Very frustrating as the pop-up notifications are breaking news but we can almost never find the supporting article. Happens on cellular. Happens on wifi. App has been uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times - no help. Unfortunately we’ve moved to a different local news app that does not encounter these issues - but we love and prefer WSB. ☹️

Locked orientation is a mistake. I have tried to continue using this app but I find it increasingly difficult to do so. The overwhelming focus on “bad” news is depressing. Easily 80-90% of the articles presented (especially the top level ones) are about violence & mayhem (shootings, robberies, car crashes, etc.) I know it is necessary to report on these, but perhaps highlight more human interest stories as well? The other main pain-point for me (and I am sure I am not alone) was the decision to prevent the app from operating in landscape mode. I typically use this app from my iPad on a Magic Keyboard. To actually use this app now I have to either remove it from the keyboard or prop it on its end. Both options are annoying when the device is more than capable of displaying information in landscape mode.

Too buggy. Several issues I've noticed. There are far too many notifications. So many that I've simple turned them all off. Second issue I've noticed is that you can't email issues to them from the app unless you use Apple mail. For those of us that use another email client, the app just errors and tells us to setup at least one email address. Be smart enough to launch other email apps, or simply put the message form within the app itself, bypassing our local mail client entirely.

I Love Channel 2 Action News!. I can always depend on Channel 2 Action News for the top stories of the day. Thank you for keeping the public informed on what is going on in the city, state, country and world!!! You’re the best.

Blank screen. I will be in the middle of reading a news story and the story will disappear the title is there, not the content. I either scroll back to the top and it may reappear or I have to back out of the story and select again. It may not happen it may happen once or multiple times. I like the app and the content, just not the glitch.

Eats Battery. This latest version runs in the background constantly. Picked up my iPad this evening and it was noticeably warm. Turned it on and saw battery was only at 60% even though it had been on the charger for 9 hours. Checked battery usage in settings and it was the top app by far, having been running in the background nonstop since yesterday. Be sure and kill this app if you use it.

No back button. Awful upgrade!!! Users have to know look to the bottom for the home page to scroll through the articles. I never use anymore!! Switched to 11Alive app which is more user friendly and provides more local in-depth news. This navigational change was not a good decision

Great App with Great Info. I love that it always updates me when new numbers of Covid- 19 cases are counted, and many other news articles that I like to read. It gives me all of the details that I want to know. The only thing, is that at the very bottom of news articles, it shows other articles that I might want to read. Some of them are months old and get confusing. Overall, a great app! :-)

New update is junk. It wasn’t a great app before, but the most recent update turned it into a useless app. It did away with the back button, which means you have to keep going back to the home page and then scroll down to where you left off. Also, now you can’t read the menu on an iPhone 11. I don’t know why all of the Atlanta news apps are determined to try to beat each other at being the worst news app in existence.

I like this app when it works. I have to restart it several time to get it to work on my phone so i have to watch that same commercial that many times and more, no problem playing the commercial. On the weekend i would like to watch the last regular news broadcast but often only can watch hi q, ect. When during the week i can see the 6pm news even if its 7 pm Thanks

Top Notch Reporting. I receive frequent daily updates on metro Atlanta and state-wide (Georgia) news from WSB Channel 2 news on the app on my smartphone.I’m a former resident of Atlanta and became a WSB viewer in the 1980s! The quality/depth of reporting is excellent and the investigative series are informative and educational. I’m now a resident of Alabama but have close relatives/friends in Georgia and an interest in “affairs” of the State and its citizens.- Rebecca B. Tinker

Awful Ads. I’m actually grateful for whatever issue they’re experiencing with the ads right now (no longer player in between breaks, just says “pardon the interruption, we’ll be right back”) because they’re so ridiculously repetitive. The same 4 real estate, auto sale, legal aid, and Grady/credit union bank commercial plays over and over again. It’s very annoying. Other than that, the actual live news streams okay. Ads are out of control and all over the place. I get it’s a free app, but come on. I’d much rather watch it on TV due the poor construction of the app.

The older version was better.. With the new version of the WSB app. It’s almost impossible to watch the news live. You get the advertisement and then a blank screen, zero stars if it was an option.

Great News. I’ve been watching Channel 2 Action News now for over 20 years !! By far the most professional & accurate news hands down.

Old Stories stay way too long and bogus ads injected. Some of the stories remain on the read list for WEEKS. Yes I said weeks. Like right now there are articles from 3 weeks ago still listed. The quality of today’s media is so poor compared to what it was 10-20 years ago. Recycled news, injected bogus ads, and just plain poor journalism.

Stop with the tabloidism and pandering to the market!. The facts are the facts. Don’t tailor stories to satisfy a market. Stick to the truth. WSB is slipping into tabloidism and selective news reporting. They don’t report the news entirely factually as they worry they’ll alienate folks who don’t want to hear or believe the truth and subscribe to alternative facts. Their headlines and photos often belay the truth of the actual story or are a “bait n switch”. Above all WSB is terrified of covering state and local politicians for fear of losing access. WSB could delve into some real journalism and make a difference with all the government corruption and nepotism if they weren’t so busy reporting raccoon sightings at public parks or about an angry mother. Stop showing us crap.

Irritating. I love to watch Channel 2 News. Been watching since I moved here in ‘98. Like most people I decided to get rid of cable in order to save some money. Happy when I realized I could still get the news on the app, but the app has a very annoying habit of getting stuck on commercials or on what I call “intermission fillers.” I guess it’s something I‘ll have to live with…or go back to cable. I appreciate having the app, it’s just an irritating thing that happens.

Hard work goes into content, app is inconsistent. 5-stars for content and all the hard work behind the scenes to get all these stories covered. 1-star for app wonkyness… When I get my WSB-TV app texts with any breaking story or notification to read a certain story and I click into it….99.9% of the time that story NEVER pops up, instead it takes me to the long lists of regular local news stories that I have already read- not to the breaking news story or most recent story that I got a text about. I get so frustrated that it makes me just close out any text from WSB since I hardly ever get to read the latest anyway. Pretty bad when I have to go to other networks to try & find the same story- ugh, please fix those bugs & Gremlins!!

Many bugs too many ads. Way too many notifications now. Way more than in the past. Let’s save those for really big breaking news stories please. My main aggravation is when there is breaking news and I want to get to the live video quickly, I have to sit through ads to see it. You should only have ads on non breaking news videos. Secondly, I was watching a video. Mid way through, I decided to make it full screen and turn my phone to landscape mode. The video stopped and went back to the story. Another issue is when I start reading an article the text disappears when I scroll down. This happens every story. I then have to scroll back up to the top and it will reappear. Not sure why that happens

My opinion. I like the availability of the news app and some of the notifications. I hate the fact that when you view on app or stream you see different commercials and usually have to sit through them before you can view any content. Also you see the same ones over and over and over and over and over and over and over!!!!!!

Switching...... The new update offers nothing new or better as far as the UI or ease of navigation. The ads still sit at the bottom taking up space and are very distracting. WSB is very good at sending alerts, but outside of that, the other local news apps are much better. Also, after two updates, sharing the link on social media is not working properly.

News. I love this news station, it’s like watching a family delivering the news! They pull you in! I watch it in the morning, afternoon and evening! I can tell the news if someone missed it! I watch it that much! Jovita is gorgeous!!! Thank you! Tori

Any time any place…any news🤩. I really enjoy this delivery format, I am in control of what and when I get my news! I’m also pleased with the mix of local, state, national, and human interest stories!

It is always available. Today’s busy schedule, I most likely do not have time to watch regular news. But with this app, I can watch updated news at my own time. Thank you for your great arrangement.

TX transplant. I moved to GA 2 years ago and Channel 2 News was the first thing I watched. I love Fred and the morning crew! I’ve been back in Texas since March for because of Covid but still watch Channel 2 every morning on the app. I love Texas, but you guys are my go-to newscast. Thank you!

Local News Coverage. I enjoy “reading”the local news, but I feel that WSB should leave national stories to the AJC, CNN Or Fox News. A person chooses WSB because they are a leader in our local market. Also, they can “run a story into the ground”. You pay your employees to report the local stories, so have them go out and find the Atlanta based stories. Enough said.

Biased News. I would like to see more honest news topics. For instance when the Haitian President was assassinated, why was this not front page news. Also, why was Hunter Biden’s troubles not brought to the front. ALL people should be made aware of honest National and International news at ALL times and not selected news. Why does this media outlet like to show friction where friction is not the case. For instance, the spa shooting were not of Asian hate but of a sexual hate. The gunman did not hate Asians but he had a sexual temptation and he acted out of rage from that. I wish WSBTV would have really showed the truth and not try to divide America.

News. I have been watching channel 2 WSB tv since I moved to McDonough at 10 years old. My parents had encouraged us to be aware of what’s happening in the world and in our local communities. I have watched the other news channels but felt WSB always had the best coverage and I enjoyed all the anchors, meteorologists and Clark Howard. I trust channel 2 for honest reporting of the news local and around the world news. Thanks for what you all do!

Must watch commercials before the news. WSB-TV News App alerts me immediately with urgent news as I requested in my settings. However, the app forces me to watch at least 30 seconds of advertisements before I am allowed to see the urgent news. I have turned off all notifications for this app and am using other News apps which don’t force me to watch advertisements before I can see the urgent news. The news however is written and presented well.

Refresh of news on app. You frequently leave articles up for weeks. There has to be more pertinent news that you could feature. It’s very frustrating for people who (like me) who check out app a couple of times a day

Unreadable articles and broken notifications. When an article has less than 100 words and takes two frustrating minutes to read because the ads cover it up constantly, your app is broken. When you tell it not to send notifications for sports and now the only notifications you get are for sports, your app is broken. Please fix these issues if you expect people to find value in your app.

Old stories for weeks and your ads made me delete and move to 11Alive. I used the app for years and have deleted it in utter disgust. Most of the content on the app is outdated. Case in point - whole section with UGA winning championship stays for weeks. Before it was monkeypox. And your in-depth investigations stay for months. Causing scrolling all the time to get to the content I want. And don’t get me started on the weeks of the breaking news banner for customers to call the Dish network to DEMAND having WSB added back. Last time I checked that is YOUR job to negotiate not your customers. And finally, the misspelling and grammatical errors are beyond ridiculous. Apparently you don’t have literate people attending to your website. Wow, WSB has all gone downhill into being a joke.

Fast and to the point news. I enjoy the fast and to the point aspect of news stories. I can share quickly with friends and family that hate watching news but want to be informed.

Absolutely love this app!. The reports are always well written. You get all of the facts known at the time. The length of the stories are just right to get you updated quickly ; so that you can have an intelligent conversation about the article.

Extremely buggy. While this app provides good local news coverage when it works, it’s focus is mostly to serve you advertisements and sponsored links. While scrolling through any news article, the text simply disappears and you only see the white page background. When you do play a video ad on a news article page, the video will keep playing indefinitely and other ads will auto play after that even when you navigate away from the page the video is on. You have to close the app to stop video playback. Not sure how this app gets anywhere near 5 stars especially since these bugs have persisted 4+ years.

Awesome Team. I live in a small town called Sparks, Georgia (4 hours South from Atlanta) and I look at this news everyday. Always alert with the weather, updated on what’s going on and everyone is always in a great mood. Keep up the great work!

Full of typos, copied info from other sources. You have to watch commercials when you click Breaking News. Search feature doesn't work well enough... example: search results are tons of random content from 8 years ago, most recent content or articles are buried, etc. Did I mention the articles are loaded with misspellings!!!!!

Amanda. I really use to enjoy this station until Dish Network took it off. It was the only channel I would watch for my news and weather. I’m glad at least I have the app to stay informed on what is going around my area, even though I read about it later on after a current event. If Dish Network had not removed my channel I would have known about the Santa Speedo Run 😁🤩👋👍and my daughters and I could have cheered them on 🎉 Hopefully I’ll have my channel on before long again 🤷‍♀️

Why I gave 3 stars. They ever update the headlines, it’s the same all day . Then some stories are on the page for days and days. Boring .

MAINSTAY FIR ACCURATE REPORTING. WSB-TV has been the go-to source for my family’s news fir over 50 years. News, weather and commentary. Glen Burns and his Team are the ONLY source we have for weather.

Update -ism. Amazing that with the truly great reporting on WSB that the app is long behind all news. Constantly offering “olds”. Not news! The news app appears to be updated once a day rather than every hours as it should as it should be in this day and age. Come on WSB , be our leader!

The Best. WSB is my go to for news, weather and sports. They have the best team of anchors, reporters and weather personnel in Atlanta, and always has. Keep up the excellent work.

News when it’s convenient. I love that I can get important news when I have a moment. I rarely get to watch the news on tv, this gives me everything I need to know.

Relevant and up to date. I can always count on WSBTV to bring the latest breaking news. It’s very easy to navigate and provides a wealth of info at my fingertips.

Question. With the latest version, I don’t like how after reading a news piece that the app takes me to the top of the screen instead of where I was in my reading. I also can’t figure out how to “go back” to the news after reading the main headline article without exiting the app. Any suggestions?

Sad. Far to liberal slant. Jorge is awfully theatrical. Glenn Burns and the weather team are the only thing that has credibility. They are the best. I have been a metro Atlanta resident and WSB viewer for over 50 years. Sad to see the demise of a once trusted media outlet.

Review. News reports what they want you to know not the whole story. News in general is discussing to watch now days.

Not updated often. Stories remain on the app for weeks. With so much happening globally and locally, you’d expect better coverage and fresher perspectives. There’s too much click bait. I only use it as a secondary source of news. Even local folks want to know what’s happening outside of Atlanta.

Drains my battery!. I like the app ok but when I have it running my phone gets really hot and the battery charge drops down rapidly. This doesn’t happen with any other app! Is there stuff running in the background, or why is that happening and only with your app???

Just ok. While I do appreciate the occasional breaking news notification, channel 2 sends out a lot of notifications days after the news first broke. What bothers me more is their constant grammatical errors.

Review. All news tends to be bad news! Maybe good news will bread more good, Godly news! Why not try more good news & things!!! I’ve watched channel 2 news most of my 75 years!!

News coverage!. WSBTV is the BEST NEWD coverage in the Atlanta Metro Area! CNN & HLN are no longer news stations they are new wave soap operas! Thank you WSBTV ATL NEWS accurate and up to the minute news! Please continue to provide the ATL Metro Area the best... we & our families in FL, KY, MN, OH, & PA we all watch each other news app channels they all love WSBTV!

It’s great when it works. A lot of bugs and videos don’t fully play after watching ads. It’s a constant loop of 10 seconds of a 2 minute video then ads and back to the same 10 second loop. Used to like the app now I just use other sources.

Excellent news for South Ga.. We get more news about Valdosta from WALB than the local news paper. We have to pay for the paper. Thank you.......

Current events. Reviews are always current and easy to access on the iPhone.

Error 633: Will not stream on iOS. Persistent error indicating “slow network” for over 7 days. This happens no matter the network in use (tried on at least 14) or if using cell signal only. The app is up to date and restarting device had no effect. All other streaming apps work fine; the WSB app is the only one producing this issue.

Updates. I would like to see more updates across the whole scroll love your stories sit there for weeks

Notifications. I generally love the app. But lately, when I tap a notification, many times the news article does not appear and I cannot find it anywhere on the site. I thought this was a temporary glitch, but this has lasted too long.

What might help you.. Ask the rate and review more often and I’m still upset about water in south Fulton. I didn’t find out until after the boil water advisory had been issued. Make it easier for your followers to be able to contact someone about any problem, either a phone number or an email address. Thank you Tammy

I do not like the new format. Guess WSB doesnt care. Feb 26. As of Feb 26, WSB has not fixed this problem for Ipad. I am removing from Ipad. Instead of staying on landscape mode, it flips to portrait. Then I have to turn the ipad or whatever I’m using around to read. Yes, sounds lazy for me. But its inconvenient. I have my ipad on lock screen in landscape. Stays okay on iphone because Iphones are in portrait mode.

Inadequate app from simple people. If you like your news in bite size pieces that a baby bird could swallow this is where you should land. Poorly written (TV personalities write most of the posts), lacking any semblance of accuracy and detail and full of some if the silliest most non-news worthy celebrity noise you will ever see from an allegedly legitimate news organization. Other than that it’s okay.

Sometimes working. I was born in Atlanta and WSB is great. The app is glitchy and sometimes works. Too many steps and commercials to get to LIVE TV which only sometimes works. Click through the options, click on LIVE TV, wait for commercials to be done just for the video feed or app to fail is frustrating. PLEASE FIX IT

Our favorite. Guys, You have quite a few viewers in the Dalton, Ga. area. Our cable provider is Optilink and we depend on you guys for a lot of our news. You rarely report this as your viewing area, but believe me, it is. Even during the tornado outbreak we watched your coverage, and one of your Meteorologist said that we got our news from Chattanooga. Just wanted to make sure you knew we watched.

Alerts. I get an alert, click on it, only to have the story disappear and in order to read it, I must search for it. Often it’s hard to find again.

Too much of too little. Appreciate those circumstances when the app updates us on a significant news story…. Sadly that’s no more than half the pap getting posted…. Some of it actually say old and hardly “breaking news” C’mon Channel 2 you can do better, much better

Best of ATL.. I no longer live in GA but still start my day with WSB TV streaming the news. Old habits are hard to break, but it is truly the best news broadcast I have found anywhere.

Stock images and tacky low quality ads. The app maybe run of the mill but there are always atrocious typos, seldom any actual images of the actual event being described which is comical for a Tv station which is supposedly a visual media- it’s always a stock police cruiser clip art. The ads are so sketch it feels like a National enquirer level of a program here… Is this really the best we can do in Atlanta?

Needs some work. iPhone 13 here. Stories go blank white then come back. Notifications aren’t currently linking to the story in the app currently. I still feel this is the best local tv news app. Thank you for the free app.

Refresh of news on app. You frequently leave articles up for weeks. There has to be more pertinent news that you could feature. It’s very frustrating for people who (like me) who check out app a couple of times a day

Crummy updates along the way. I just deleted the ap i exclusively used for local news. The recent updates make it hard to just read the news. I don’t want to see all the video footage on top. Plus the ads are just too much and irrelevant to me and hard to navigate past.
