Best Hurricane Tracker App Ever. The Hurricane Tracker App is as good as it gets. From accuracy to customer support, this app covers all bases. With links to the Weather Channel and The National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Tracker provides up to date forecasts, discussions and images; thus providing it's users with the critical information needed before, during and after a major weather event such as a hurricane. It provides accurate information in alerts when needed. Hurricane tracker was spot on during Irma José and Maria.

The APP that wouldn’t.. This use to be a useful tracking system, but when we needed a concise tracking map the map sizes increased three fold and the plot lines were drawn with a broad tipped Sharpie, with dotted blobs that serve to further obscure the definition. The models are labeled with cryptic agency identification, if at all, and without a reference legend. But hey, they do a great job of showing where the storm will be six days from now in the North Atlantic off Iceland.

Access Problems/No Remedies. This application displays good graphics with useful information, but (for some unimaginable reason) they lock you out from accessing premium features you have already purchased; and they will not accept the password copied from their own email in response to their ‘Forgot Password’ function. However, they will accept your money for the service they deny you to access. No telephone number is provided to obtain assistance and this is absolutely inexcusable!

Could be great... but. I don’t think anyone actively monitors this app and it’s source data any longer. All of the functionality is there for it to be a great app. And it does work great as my go to but only after the hurricane is bearing down on us in Baja. I have sent messages into the designer about why it always says “No Active East Pacific Tropical Systems” when there is clearly a tropical storm forming (listed as TS Elsewhere, not my laymen opinion). I have gotten no responses to this question from the designer and this is a consistent pattern. TSs are not noted or researchable through the app until it’s is a Hurricane less then 500nm from landfall. Would love to see the improvements!!

Extremely helpful and very accurate. I moved from Dallas,Texas to San Juan, Puerto Rico two years ago and my only experience with hurricanes was watching the evening news. After arriving in San Juan and understanding all the destruction from a hurricane, I realized I never wanted to be caught off guard and not prepared. Hurricane tracker is an incredible tool and provides up-to-the-minute information and notifications on potential hurricanes and storms. This is a must have if you live within 100 miles of any coast.

Best Hurricane App. We have a place on Hilton Head Island SC and this app has been fantastic in keeping us informed on potential and active hurricanes and tropical storms. This app brings all the various Hurricane Center and NOAA charts into one screen so they are easy to find and view. Hurricane Tracker has enabled us to make smart informed decisions without the hassle of searching the web and tuning into various weather reports. So much peace of mind. I just love this app. Download it NOW

Nice App but no updates. This is a great app that I have used for years to track hurricanes on the US east coast. As reported in several recent reviews the app is crashing on open after updating to iOS 14.2. The developer got back to me within 24 hours and said the temporary fix is to delete the app and reinstall. This fixed the issue. I restored my 4 star rating.

Good overall - a lot of data. The app has a lot of good data however I think it could use some improvements. Here are some suggestions from a life long Florida resident. Add the category of the storm to the hurricane icon. For example: where you list the storms, show the number. This is my biggest issue with the app. Especially as storms approach land, they can upgrade or downgrade at a moments notice. I want to be able to check in the wee hours of the night and right away see what category the storm is. It’s really hard to find that info in this app. You have to either read a big document and try and weed through all the meteorology jargon to find it. Add a tracking graph that the user can move a stark back in time or forward in time based on the most projected path. Kittycode’s hurricane tracker app had this and I loved it. It even changed the category label as the storm was expected to downgrade as it moved over land. Download kittycode hurricane tracker and look at some historical storms. You’ll be able to see how this feature works. Unfortunately the kittycode app retired after last season and I found this app instead. Overall, it’s still a very good app and has a ton of info. The spaghetti models section is actually better than the other app, but some user experience misses make it less than 5 stars for me.

Love this App. I’ve used this app on and off the past 4 years when in the USVI. It has been excellent and gave plenty of warning for a tropical storm that turned Category 2 a couple years ago. I’m a healthcare worker so it’s important to keep up on these storms, not just personally, but so I can plan my time if I may be needed at the hospital or clinic. Great app! Thanks you!

Don’t use if you live in the pacific. This app used to be my go to for tracking storms in the east pacific for a couple years Getting warning of approaching storms is important for those of us living in Hawaii. Unfortunately this app seems to have stopped working for us here. I have not been able to get accurate info about the eastern pacific for a very long time. The app is currently saying there are no storms to track in the eastern pacific. This is despite the fact that there are literally 2 storms in the eastern pacific, one of which is a category 4 hurricane, clearly visible in all the maps provided by the app. I am not able to get any info or see the forecast track for either of these storms. What good is this app if it doesn’t provide an early warning or display accurate, up to date information?

Eye of the Storm. For seven months of the year I access the information in this Application several times daily. I live on the Central Gulf Coast, where you ignore weather conditions at your peril. This App used in conjunction with the Weather Channel App offers the User the information you’ll need to plan ahead as you track the course and current conditions of hurricanes entering the Gulf. I purchased the Premium Package and I’m glad I did.

Good. I have had good results having this app and been notified ahead or many other apps w updates. I would like to see it develop into a more detailed alerts. Like options to get warning wants to my phone on a particular storm or storms when they change status or change directions. And during a storm tge updates were hard to get exact location of eye of tge storm during sally or how much longer we had til it was past us in Pensacola. You guys are doing great I look forward to the app becoming even more helpful. Maybe for a small fee to get more options for those of us that want it

Best Hurricane information to be found in any one place.. As stated this is the very best hurricane information available to be found in one place. Purchasing Premium is very recommended as well. Anyone living in Florida or along the Gulf Coast should definitely have this app on their iPhone or iPad. I do have one request of the programmers. I use the desktop widget and I have noticed twice in this hurricane season that when there are 2 or more storms out there, and the NHC stops reporting one of the storms, you also stop but the desktop widget keeps right on reporting 2 storms when there is only 1 being tracked. I have found the only way to force it to decrement is to remove and reinstall the app. Can you work on this issue?

Save Image. Loved this app & it was so very helpful last year during hurricane season (I live in Florida). TS Arthur is now out there so checked the app for the first time this season. They have taken away the ability to save images/gifs which I do all the time & used to be able to do. The saddest part about the whole thing is the images are not even theirs to protect as they belong to the National Hurricane Center (NHC). I can go right now to the NHC website & save the exact same images from there as they permit saving. I just liked using the app. I upgraded my iPhone from an 8 to an iPhone 11 Pro shortly after it came out & it seems maybe that’s when things changed & the ability to save images was removed. I wanted to send an email to the App owner/developer to let them know as maybe this was inadvertent (& maybe it has something to do with the new iPhone) but there’s no way to contact them (other than twitter which I don’t know how to do) so my only option is to leave this review. PLEASE FIX THE ABILITY TO SAVE IMAGES If that is done, I will immediately come back & update this review. Until then I will no longer be using this app and will be getting my TS/hurricane information from the NHC which of course is FREE!!

Must have for travelers/southerners. I travel weekly throughout the world and knowing the weather and its potential impact is important to me. The creator of this app has done an incredible job. It can be as basic or detailed as anyone could need. I have purchased and downloaded most weather apps and this one does the job better than any others I’ve seen to date. I would highly recommend this app for anyone wanting or needing this information.

Best hurricane graphics, data. This app provides access to both basic and comprehensive hurricane-related graphics, data, and forecasts. This is done through a very efficient and intuitive interface. This is by far the best hurricane app, in my opinion. Thus I have deleted my other hurricane apps since they didn't provide any additional information or features.

My Go To Hurricane Season App. I love this app and have been relying on it for the last two seasons. I go back and forth between Chicago and Cozumel on a monthly basis, have family in Savannah and am moving this January to Miami, so hurricane season is always on my mind! I am so grateful for the up to date information and in depth graphics this app provides in an easy to use format. I weathered Franklin down here in Cozumel last year and am getting ready for Issac if he decides to come this way. Hurricane Tracker has been and continues to be a big help in my preparations. I have gotten my entire Savannah and Tybee Island family into using the app. Thanks y’all for your great work! 💙

A must have weather app.. Living on the gulf coast of Texas, and frequently traveling across the gulf states, this app is invaluable. Easy to use interface, concise global storm tracking information. Objective weather info with no sensationalism or scare tactics. Just the facts as weather develops. If you can only have one storm tracking app, look no further.

Great, reliable app. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because the in-depth charts about wind shear are really difficult to derive any understanding about whether hurricane risk is mitigated or elevated. But if you watch the models closely during every threat, you start to get a pretty good idea where the hurricane might be headed. With Irma in 2017, the models didn’t help a lot, but with Ian in 2022, I had reason to believe it was going to hit Ft. Meyers several days in advance, even though the cone of uncertainty shifted quite a bit north, then back south during the days preceding landfall. It will be interesting to see what effect AI will have on hurricane model accuracy.

Doesn’t update. This app doesn’t update alerts. This use to be my go to app for storms. We live in area that usually has high hurricane chances and it makes me so frightened all through storm season. We depend on apps and local news AND The Weather Channel too. We need all the most current news and updates we can get. Our lives depend upon it. Please get this app back to the 5 star review status soon.

Must have app. This is one of the most important apps to have if you live in any area that might be impacted by storms. It is easy to understand and use plus the staff is great and attentive. Definitely it’s an app developed with end users in mind. Finally the team behind the company is just amazing! They don’t rest making sure you have the most up to date information. A real pleasure!

Old reliable. I live in Florida and have used this app repeatedly. Tracking those storms becomes an obsession until you see your location cleared from the track. This is the most consistent, reliable and timely app i have tried. And i tried many before this. Do your self a favor and get this for your phone, you will not be disappointed.

Best info, and a perfect alert system. If you’ve been through a serious hurricane, and live in an area where another will come, you rely on these alerts. The problem with other storm track apps is that they alert you about any and all storms - regardless of their threat to you. Storm alerts are a big deal, so receiving them for the Pacific is unnecessarily painful when you live on the Gulf Coast. This is the only app that lets me receive alerts only for the storms that threaten my region. Might seem like a small thing, but for those who have been traumatized it’s huge. Also the amount of maps and data are fantastic. If you grew up on the Gulf, you know exactly what they all mean and never feel like there’s more to know.

Buyer Beware of Premium Graphics. A year ago I signed up and paid to access premium graphics due to some tropical weather in my area. When I did that I did not realize that I was signing a service agreement with PayPal and would be charged $25 every year for the service. I contacted the app owner and they said there was nothing they could do because I had unknowingly entered into the agreement with PayPal thru their app. The premium graphics don’t really provide that much more insight into a storm, so I would avoid them, and the charges associated with them, and just use the free part.

Why?. This is the only app I found that came near to hurricane tracker pro, which I had to replace because after Many years the govt and noaa have forced them out of providing easy to understand information we could use and make our decisions as what action to take with approaching storms. I guess the government feels they must give me the information first hand. We stayed alive using hurricane tracker pro living in the path of the eye of Katrina & Rita and did so making our decisions using only hurricane tracker pro and no other information. Hope I can say the same for this app after a direct hit from a cat 5.

Good app, but some details need attention. In general, I really like the app, so I use it regularly. It is very helpful when one lives near the Gulf Coast. Suggestions: 1. Once one has paid for a premium subscription, it would help if the app would stay logged in. 2. I tend to check specific graphics among the choices. It would help if I could change the display order accordingly. 3. Many of the graphics are superimposed on a map outline, but it’s often difficult to see the map through the other graphics and colors.

A great App for Storm Tracking. I Began using this app when my daughter left home after high school to attend a private college in Pensacola, Florida and I'm glad I did. It gives me and family accurate information about weather in her area of the U.S. In fact, she began using this a few months ago. Everyone in my family now use this especially when we travel. This is a critical weather information center you shouldn't leave home without. It doesn't gobble up a lot of Processor time and consumes only a small footprint of my phone's memory.

Very slow. I purchased this app a few years ago and I thought it would give you quick update. At the beginning when I first purchased this it has been slow. I do see they have gotten better with your updates by getting a lot faster. I still would like to see so spaghetti models and for them to get a little bit quicker with her updates. I live in Massachusetts and I also like the storm track. I know we had one many years ago and we are also overdue for a major hurricane. I also like to take pictures of the storms and that’s why I purchased this. I still recommend this app can anyone. I will give it a five star when they give a lot more quicker update or give an exclamation why they don’t.

An essential utility. I purchased the app initially because I have family in the hurricane corridor. The information, especially the graphics are extremely helpful in keeping tabs on the weather, not just hurricanes, but also weather forecasts in general. I consider this app as my essential weather app, all the others that I have used in the past can't compare. Thank you.

Been using for over 10 years. Living on the Gulf coast you must stay vigilant.. I live on the Gulf coast of east Texas. I have used this app for many years. It has always been the most reliable predictions I can find and gets better each year. The news media give snap shots the app gives the whole picture.

Necessity in FL. I have had the app for about 2 years now, and I’m glad I do. It has been reliable and accurate, which is more than I can say for some weather apps. It has several visual tracking methods—spaghetti, millibars, radar, etc—so you have a good selection to monitor, even if you’re not a weather geek. It also tracks storms in the Atlantic *and* the Pacific. It is always up-to-date on NOAA data and alerts as well. One new feature that tickled me—when it sends a text alert it now includes a whooshing wind sound, which definitely differentiates it from any other alert. Kudos to the developers for accuracy, dependability and a clear, easy-to-use interface. Highly recommended. Now I’m going to check on Dorian again.

Love this App. Hurricane Tracker is my go to App for hurricane and tropical weather information hands down. I’ve used it since May of 2017. Before that I used several apps frequently to keep up with tropical events because no single app provided all the information I needed. No More! Hurricane Tracker provides all of my needs at my fingertips. Hooray for Hurricane Tracker! Kudos to the developers of this terrific weather advisory app! Keep up the good work people!

Hurricane Tracker. I’ve had this app for 5 years. I live in Corpus Christi Tx on Tex gulf coast Hurricane Harvey hit Rockport Tex about 25 miles from Corpus 2 years ago. This app was so valuable to me it’s the best hurricane app out there. Trust me I’ve tried them all. Now this is the only one I use. I totally put me and my family lives in their hands. I just signed up for the premium looking foreword to using it. Thanks for all your good work you do.

A great hurricane app. There are so many similar apps...hard to know which is best. But this one has lots of info on all active and potential storms, and it’s kept up to date - for example, I really want to see the NHC charts when they come out so I don’t separately have to go to NHC on the web. AFAIK this is doing that nicely, currently with Florence in the Atlantic. The app is intuitively organized. It’ll be my go-to app for the 2018 season and we’ll see how it does.

Confused. I like the app. Very helpful living on the east coast. But last year, I paid for premium graphics. When there was a hurricane in the Atlantic and I wanted to see premium graphics, I had to sign in every time to view. I was confused. I thought maybe I didn’t pay for it, but I did. It was aggravating to say the least. Not sure if I’m going to do premium. We shall see. I’ve had the app for a few years and never had this issue and always upgraded.

Irregularities to make you worry. Today the eastern pacific status line show all quiet, while the info below it shows 3 active storms, and the 5-day outlook map has the “no active eastern pacific storms” overlaid on the 3 currently active storms on the diagram. This sort of irregularity of inconsistent data or timeliness of updates makes this app interesting, but perhaps not a reliable source. I attempted to bring this quality issue to the attention of the developers before I added a review, but it doesn’t recognize that I purchased the app.

Very important app but a work in progress. Not particularly easy to navigate and make sense of what all it does. Seems to fall under the category of “good enough for government work.” E. G. When choosing a link to contribute on levels 1-5, the amount that is bought up for payment does not match the amount in the label for the link. Not enough quality control being applied prior to being released But I appreciate the work done so far.

Great! One wish.. Love the Hurricane Tracker App and used it a great deal during the recent visit of Hurricane Irma. Hurricane Tracker has a wealth of information that will delight the weather enthusiast and anyone who wants all the necessary information to monitor one of nature's fiercest beasts. I have sampled many hurricane tracker apps and it is clearly the best I have found. Because of that, I was surprised to find that the app does not provide a high-resolution map (for example, Google Maps) with the most probable storm track superimposed over it. Almost all the maps are provided by the NHC. They are quite low-resolution. I understand that hurricane tracks are part science (a big part) and part magic. So, for example, a high-resolution map, with a thin, high-resolution line predicting that Hurricane Irma will go just to the east of Key West would have to be taken with a grain of salt. But, I still would REALLY like to have such a map included in Hurricane Tracker! Right now, any attempt to zoom in on any map to gather a more detailed view just produces pixelated ambiguity. It's frustrating and because of that I have to use other hurricane tracker apps in addition to this product. I applaud Hurricane Tracker in many ways and have bought the iPhone and iPad versions. Hopefully, we'll get a high-resolution map feature in a future update.

Far from home. This app is perfect not only for those who live in the immediate areas, it is an excellent way to assess what’s happening from afar. Radio broadcasts can be alarming and the app easily provides accurate data plus quick access to the source. I’m from coastal SC and live hundreds of miles from the area now, but can quickly assess the local conditions.

Comprehensive App!. Although the information presented is available for free on government websites, this app does a superior job in aggregating relevant hurricane info and graphics. You are paying for their expertise in finding the data on dozens of sometimes obscure government websites, displaying it, and it is well worth it! As a Floridian and a retired safety professional, I discovered several graphics that I wasn't familiar with. So, the educational value was well worth the price A nice touch is the audio reports and push advisories.

Go to app for hurricane season. I have been using this app for years, and haven’t ever felt like I needed anything else. There is great basic information and alerts, as well as more in-depth imaging and analysis. With the latest update a favorite tool was removed, and when I contacted the developers they responded within 24 hours, indicating that it was an issue with the App Store, not a decision on their part. I appreciate the responsiveness of the developers, and the great content they provide. Definitely a must have for any hurricane related info!

Great way to track tropical weather!. I’ve been using this app for many years to keep up to date on tropical outlooks, forecasts, and associated graphics. I’ve relied on the app for quick reference as a mariner and search and rescue professional because it places all the information I need in one easy location. Highly recommended.

They must have essential application. This is a wonderful app everything is in one place at one time you can see everything before the weather channel even reports it. I’ve used this app for the past several storms and now I am sitting here with this app watching Ida coming straight to me. Knowing as long as I have Internet connection and cellular connection in this system it’s quite amazing to have as a companion to keep you well-informed and also bring some sort of real factual knowledge. So thank you very much to the creators please keep it up I’d love to see more.

The best Hurricane app out there!. Edit: I signed up for the Premium account this season as it looked like it would be a good investment. Currently, I’m in the midst of TS ETA, and the premium content hasn’t been available for days! The main app is solid, but the premium content seems to be lacking dependable updates at this time. I have been using this app for years, and it is my ‘go-to’ source for information anytime something is brewing in the Atlantic, Gulf or Caribbean. No more do I have to jump from one source or website to another, everything I need can be found right here! I also just discovered that they have a Premium subscription with more precise storm details and graphics. This adds a whole other dimension this app with very useful information for those who may be impacted by an impending storm. Overall, this is just a fantastic app which has continued developer support and enhancements. You can’t go wrong with this one!

Nice App. This app is a very nice app is accurate as well I have been using it for a while now and have tracked many of hurricanes with it I live In Titusville Florida which is on the east coast in Central Florida so this app is a necessity for this part of the country so if you live in a hurricane prone area I would recommend this app to you very easy to use and highly accurate and tons of information you can get in the app so download it and give it a try it might just save your life when it comes Down to it at the right time

Wish hurricane pro would come back. If you have experience tracking storms, this app is actually pretty poor. Graphs are slow to update and are basically just downloads from the national hurricane center and readily available satellite imagery and storm tracks. Even found outdated information on storms still posted (Beryl still showing as tropical storm in wrong location when it has turned into a low). I guess it can work for some basic needs but was hoping it would offer some added value. Are there even forecasters associated with the app? Missing the hurricane pro app - it was significantly better.

Very nice program when you don’t need it.. This program has some very serious data deficiencies when a hurricane is threatening. Don’t depend on it. It is much quicker to bookmark its its sources and go directly there. Some guy named mike has these and many more pertinent links on his weather page for free and his site works when there is a storm. Any other time and this app is a nice, simple concise source for tropical data. Normally four stars, one star when there is an impending hurricane.

1 of 2 Indispensable Hurricane apps. November 2020 Great in-depth current hurricane information all in one place. With this app and my Windy app we have a quick compilation of the information we need to keep our family safe. When things start to get locally threatening, I confirm information I get from those apps with TV stations along the coast. They give us in-depth information on the impact of the storms that will affect them/us directly.

In the tropics. This app offers a very complete and accurate information, with lots of graphics. The only problem is that the data comes out late. Living in the tropics, conditions change quite fast. Just now, I got the news about a Tropical Storm that formed recently and only now, more than 12 hours later it has been added into the app.

Appreciate the app. We get a good view of how to schedule our day according to the predictions of weather, we appreciate the way this app has been engineered so we see current radar which allows us to follow planned activities for our day and days to come can be switched accordingly. Alert notices give us time to adjust as well as be tentative for safety purposes. Programming and updates are improved for current times, which makes us confident in our schedule for activities. Thank you for your hard work to help others be safe during storm seasons.

Very very Good one. Very accurate, very easy to use very useful. Great job

Helpful app. Living in Nova Scotia we must pay attention to hurricanes coming up the eastern seaboard. The app provides necessary info displayed in a clear manner. This app works well on my iPod. Highly recommend it.

Perfect tracker. With updates the send to you as a message to the satellite photos this app is everything you want and need to track hurricanes. HERE WE ARE! ROCK YOU LIKE A HURRICANE!

Mr. Just love this app! So detailed!

Very inconsistent. Alerts are very inconsistent, have to open app in order to review storms.

Great app. Great ap love it use it all the time we have a boat we leave in the Bahamas!

Great app. It works!

tres bonne application. excellent

Tons of info. Up to date... All in one place.... great audio... Calm voice as Isaac approaches FL.

Up to date and informative. It's a great app. I have suggested it to others around me, were in a hurricane zone.

Great app. Good work really helpful

It's wonderful. It's a wonderful apps

App works great but updates sometimes lag from NHC. Love the app but I just wish it updated in sync with the National Hurricane Centre. Other than that I love the app and all the maps and satellite imagery.

Hurricane Tracker. Only been using it for a short time but seems to be very accurate.

Hurricane Tracker. It's a fantastic app, as a east coast resident I proud too say that I use this app 2-4 times daily and at hurricane season it could be up to unlimited times. I've been through hurricanes and this app gives me what I need for info. Thanks, it's a very useful tool in my life area and showing types/categories of hurricanes and usage for weather forecasting. Awesome app, appreciate the tool. It’s the best info app for hurricanes and weather there is, great for me during the hurricane season. This year 2023 I feel I’m going to be using the app very often

Great app. Great to get updates and know what is happening.

Good app. Very useful.

Great app, I check it fairly regularly.. I recommend it, especially if you lively in regularly affected areas.

Poor design. A poorly designed app and very sluggish. A waste of money.

Excellent application !. Very detailed information ! Interesting !

Great app. Valuable application not the best looking app, but timely and valuable storm onfo

Why not Track it. People love to talk about the weather why not have the best and latest at your finger tips

Best app ever. Great info at my fingertips when it's needed.

This app is garbage. This app is garbage. There are no back controls and info is the same from another source. Don't waste your money!

Great app so far. Works not bad

Awsome. Excellent app. Does what it says and more. Fantastic.

Good app. Wow good

No good. I'm trying to track the current OHO on the west coast so I bought this app. According to this app there is not even a storm on the west coast. I want my money back.

Great App. It's a great app, especially the updates u get when there is a new storm a brewing!!!

Very Helpful. We own a little place in the sun and more than once it has helped us get ready for battle with the weather. Thank you.

Hurricane tracker. The app. works good, but would like to see some Canadian content.

I Travel a lot so I like to know what’s brewing. Hurricane tracker is awesome. I I

Great App. Always the most up to date info and alerts. Super app.

Great app!. Very impressed with the audio updates and have learned so much about storms!

I love it!. My fave app! I am an avid storm and weather nut and this app is great. I love it :)

Hurricane. Great info for travelers

Très intéressante app. Voir venir les ouragans de la Floride.. Très intéressante app. Voir venir les ouragans de la Floride.

Good app. Worth the money!

Great app. Works well, very informative and valuable

Excellent app for Hurricane watchers. This is a re review of the app since I have had it a year now ... I now give it 5 stars as it is by far the best hurricane tracking app out there. If this interests you then this is the app to get.

Needs better design. I like the function of the app, but it really needs to be better designed. Right now it’s just a patchwork of existing content collected in a clunky presentation. Hire a graphic designer!

Hurricane tracker. Great very good

Fraud and Scam! You are warned. After reading the reviews and rating, I fell into the trap that this was a great app. It is a scam, the app is not worth 4 dollars. I will call Apple for a full refund! Scammers

Pierre. The best app this is a category 5 app it's a killer .

Avis. Très bon

Great app. Very well put together!

MOST HELPFUL HURRICANE TRACKER !!. I live off the Atlantic Ocean and Lord knows I require a thorough tracker during hurricane season that is easy to understand and straight to the point & no frills. For years Hurricane Tracker has given me peace of mind knowing I can check hurricane patterns at ANY time! If you like in-depth but easy to understand info.... Give this app a try. (BTW I seldom leave reviews so you know it’s worth it!)

Jmack460. I have check the site daily and I feel just a bit more confident of what I need to prepare for and when to do. It’s hard to trust the local news stations with giving us accurate information. I’m sure they try their best. But I think with what they say coupled with this app will give me the best information that i need for me and my family.

Consistently Not Working. Great program when it works. Cannot get it to work about 90% of the time right now. The problems have been going on for some time now. Change in the team?? I’ll keep trying to use it, but have not been able to get any function to work despite reloading the program three times over the last two months. Very sorry to see this deterioration. Historically this has been a great program.

Hurricane Tracker. We have lived on the Gulf Coast since 1976 in Mobile and depend upon the storm tracker radar for hurricane preparedness. We could not be ready for a storm without it. It gives good accurate maps and timely information.

Hurricane hunter review. This app seems to lag behind real time quite a bit as far as active storms and status. Not sure how to fix that but otherwise it’s great with all information easy to retrieve. All the information you would have to dig for on the NHC site is at your fingertips

Very Useful, but. ... could be better if one of the map graphics showed the projected mean estimated wind speed and location out to two or three days in the future. This should be displayed as points on the map so the location can be clearly discerned.

Just what I need. I love this app. As a coastal dweller, I need the ability to quickly access information that is correct and to the point. This app accomplishes both of my needs. Another thing I love is not having to listen to the "talking heads" on the national weather platforms beat around the bush and sensationalize every little change!!

Great app but I question upgrade. This is my “go to” application when hurricanes threaten my area, every year. However, it posts information from NOA. Therefore, why isn’t funding for this application provided by the US Government? Why are we asked to also pay for “upgraded” reports, apparently provided by the Government? Is this a double dip by the application? Maybe it’s time to look around.

Disappointed. I have used this app and loved it. I have donated money to it. But I cannot get a response to why for months TD-17 will not go away. I don’t know if I can trust this app. I have emailed them it keeps coming back with an error saying it cannot deliver my email! Disappointed

Recently Disappointing. As of late October 2019 the app has only posted limited updates and seems to be unattended. I tried to contact them via email support and got a “mailbox full” message. I have depended on this app for years as I live on the Florida Gulf Coast. I’m afraid I might have to move to something else if they don’t get their problems resolved.

Premium Subscription. Having to go through PayPal to pay yearly for premium subscription so you can see their high resolution graphics and the fact you have to constantly log in to see them every time you open the app are both non starters for me. Uninstalling this app. Subscription to premium should be here directly through Apple without the need to login in once you subscribe. Total overhaul needs to be done with that.

Find Something Else. This used to be a good app. For some reason during hurricane season 2021, the app offers no data on some named storms, and is always behind other apps on my phone when if does have updates. The basic weather app on my phone seems to know more than Hurricane Tracker. Emails to support are returned to sender, “mailbox full”. When you’re trying to find actionable information, this isn’t the app to be relying on this year.

**Perfection** One of the best weather apps outhere. Fantastic app. Realy want to try the new pro features. They seem fantastic. It would be nice if the app offered a quarterly payment option. But regardless. This all is great and can potentially be logesavibg with their accurate warning system and model predictions.

Awesome lifesaver app!. This app has been amazing to use as it allows our family to see real-time forecast and look at all the hurricane models and make informed decisions with its many useful tools. I don’t think there’s a better weather app out there to follow storms with

Indepth. Still lacking. Looking down the barrel of a cat 4 hurricane ATM, and while this app has A LOT of info, it has consistently failed to update once the monitoring changed hands. It's easier to navigate than the NHC and that's really only its 4.99 selling point for me. I've had to gather all the info on this storm from local sources since it changed hands on Sunday. Very disappointed tbh. A wealth of info, unfortunately it at least 24 hours outdated. Not very helpful, given the situation.

Most Dependable Hurricane/Storm Tracker. I’ve been using this app since Harvey and I’ve never been disappointed with the information it provides. You can always count on getting the most up-to-date and accurate data and notification from the Hurricane Tracker app.

Very limited not user friendly. Very disappointed. The KittyCode tracker I had allowed me to scroll through the storms path and see the time and conditions of each location. I tried to see the Cat5 storm in the pacific just now that my Weather Channel app alerted about. Because I have already selected 3 locations for notifications in the Atlantic, I can’t even see the pacific coast storms unless I change the settings. This app is not worth the money

Very disappointed with latest updates.. Still a good app, better than any other "free" APP and used to be much easier to navigate the more detailed sections. Very disappointed that several things have been changed with latest update making many things no longer available for "free" now have to pay for upgrades to access info that has been free for as long as I can remember after finding and using this APP.

Truly informative. I got this app years ago and it’s by far my favorite app. I love the extra maps in the full version definitely worth the extra money, although the regular version is very helpful as well.

Excellent app.. Living in Puerto Rico I depend on this application, last year during Maria, I was able to track the storm all the way until the power went out here, I was able to prepare better because I had more information, this application is a must have!

Lots of Relevant Data. This is a great app to keep apprised of hurricanes as they develop and progress. The first time I received a notification from the app I was startled by the sound of a howling gale. It got my attention. Although I don’t live in an area prone to hurricanes, I have family who live in Florida. (I wish they’d move.)

Best hurricane info. I’m here in Wilmington, NC with Florence and needing info. Hurricane tracker is great giving me more than just a radar look at the storm. The models were great for planning prior to arrival, but now that outer bands are just on the edge of coming in, that’s when I need the infrared loop, where the bands are, etc. Great so far, able to plan how much time I got to take any last minute issues.

Hurricane tracker always correct and on point !. Works wonderful very accurate information I’ve used it the last few storms and it gave good info good information on point !!!good information

Hurricane Tracker. The best app ever for tracking and getting latest info on invests, tropical storms, hurricanes, etc.—family in Florida and friends who have families on the Eastern Seaboard. Studying the models, graphics, and wind probabilities gives me valuable insight to all things related to possible formation. Thank you for this wonderful, informative app.

In the cone. So, today I am in the cone of uncertainty with a certainty of storm conditions within the next 36 hours. This app is helping to educate me, keep me informed up to the minute on conditions, and help with my storm anxiety. I’ve had many hurricane/storm tracker apps, and this is one of the if not the best. Thank you for your work.

A Go-To Weather Tool. If you live any area where serious tropical storms may occur, mostly hurricanes for me, get this app. Even if it’s just an interest of yours, still get this app. Great tool to always know “what’s brewing” out there, and then … occasionally … know when to start preparing for storms that may be dangerous to persons and/or property.

Disappointing. Barely any “tracking” or updates.. Can’t believe I paid for this app. We’ve got a nearly Category 5 hurricane in the Gulf about to devastate Florida right now & I get more accurate weather updates from USA Today & some other random news apps than from this so called “hurricane tracker” app. Utterly unacceptable. I’d expect the lack of content & updates from a free app, not a premium one. As a Gulf Coast resident/Hurricane Katrina survivor I do not recommend this app. The most current info on Hurricane Ian is more than 24 hours behind other weather apps.

Great App. Please update your video feed. Seeing a face explain the current forecast when cable is out is a better way to communicate. I think it helps ease the tension to virtually see what is going on with a storm. This app might be the only form of communication that is available at the time. Other than that the app is great!

I use it every season.. This apps just gives the facts, not the weather station/news drama. I like the alerts, informing me of developing systems. It just cuts to the chase ( no news reported pretending to be facing down horrible winds or lack of coverage when it’s truly a disaster...Hurricane Laura! )

Best hurricane app ever. This app has all the information you’ll ever need. It has some amazing satellite images as well as lots of data to review. I’ve been searching for an app that tells all, and this one is it. I highly recommend for any weather geek.

Dannell. I like the app. In general it works as I expect it should. I appreciate the ability to see weather activity on the east and west coasts of America, what I do not like is the Americo-centricness of this app. For example there is a hurricane that is headed towards Ireland in the Atlantic but is not counted among them as it won’t hit America. That is sad, even Americans have connections and concerns outside the boarders of the USA.

My need to know. I have been using this app for years to watch the progression of Atlantic storms and learn how and where they might affect me , especially when planning to travel beyond my state. Last year’s Maria coverage was especially important as a Bermuda trip was affected, but only slightly, luckily. I check it every summer.

Pay Pal. As this seems to be the only way to communicate with the app creators, I am posting here. I like your app very much (I live in Florida) and was about to buy the premium upgrade ($25), but the only way to do so is through PayPal, which I won’t use. Any reason the upgrade can’t be purchased through the Apple App Store?

BRAVO!. Thank you! This app was my lifeline to the USA during Hurricane Irma. I was in Europe and my family stayed in Naples FL during the storm. I was able to get information to them via text after power went down. The app kept me up to date and time. Now we are watching Maria so again thank you!!

Absolutely the best hurricane tracker app!. Absolutely the best! We've had this app since the beginning; great they keep adding more and more features and maps. Presentation is beautiful and colorful and easy to use. I’ve represented meteorologists and this data is world class. Congratulations to the team, it’s an excellent app.

Useful Information. Living in Florida, this app is a must have. Logically organized, you can see the government releases, the satellite images, and the models. Very helpful to better understand the storm situation around where you live and around the world.

Served me well during Irma. Although you always want to use the local news so you know what's going on in your neighborhood, I found this app invaluable for the string models and for letting me see Irma when she was way out and building into a problem. Was PART of the decision-making process whether to evacuate when she came roaring towards the West Coast of Florida Great job thank you!

App won’t update. Map shows several storms and/or potential storms but there is no link to any details. This has been going on for almost a month. Previously, I would give this app 5 stars. I don’t tweet and there is no email contact to inform the company.

Really good app. We have us this app for a year now it really is a great app it keeps you well informed. We was able to prepare for 2 Hurricanes in 2020 the people that post the information really do a great job of keeping people up to date on the hurricane and tropical storms.

Good App But Is It Still Active?. I’ve had this app for many years now and it’s been great. I’m curious now if it’s still active because we had sub tropical storm Ana last week and now tropical storm Blanca 6/2 in the Pacific but no updates on this app so far for the 2021 season. Hope it’s still active.

Great app!. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this app 5 stars is because there isn’t a feature to manually step through the updates of a storm like the hurricane pro app that was discontinued. It’d be nice if they adopted this in future updates.

Best hurricane app. I have several apps for tracking hurricanes, but this is by far my favorite. There is an abundance of information that is up to date and accurate. If you’re thinking of purchasing only 1 hurricane tracker app, make it this one. Read the app description and the positive reviews, and that should seal the deal for this app.

South Floridian. I live in coastal south Florida so I need good alerts and data on my phone. I have used Hurricane Tracker for years. I think it’s the best app out there. Every detail I might want to know - even professional level stuff. The app is intuitive and easy to use.

A great app but.... I’m a south Florida resident and this app has been my go-to hurricane app for several years now. However, since upgrading my phone to iOS 14.2 the app no longer works. It crashes immediately upon opening. Please update it! Many thanks. All fixed. Thanks.

Best hurricane app out there. Love the app, the team, and the new graphics. My only complaint is that I have to log in every time to see the premium features of the app, rather than having a paid version of the app. It is very inconvenient, even if you can save your log in information. Fit that and it would be amazing.

Terrific app!. I live in hurricane prone Florida, and this app is great! All kinds of maps, analysis and reliable forecasts. Also notifications when my area is going to be affected by a storm. No crashes or other problems. And it's free! You are invited to donate if you wish, and I am so pleased with this app, I did! Highly recommend!

Easy to find storm tracks. So far this app has been the easiest to monitor the different storm track. This is especially helpful to people that live in states like Florida that have a ton of different MISINFORMATION directed at them from the various news outlets and media. Helps to make informed storm decisions without the media hype.

Promote back end and fire front end devs. The app works well, provides the necessary information, and get the job done. But the UI is horrible. Hard to believe nobody has developed an app capable of displaying the same information in a way that doesn’t look like a 2002 MySpace or geocities app. 4 stars because the app works well and provides good info. -1 for the horrible ui.

The Best. I am a mariner and need to know not only current conditions but also potential depressions coming at us. This is a great app. On top of current conditions but also gives you an ability to see forward.

Great App. Has pretty much everything you need all in one place. I gave it 4 stars due to some screen layout issues but this in no way has anything to do with how the app works. Sure, it is a little slow caused by,I suspect, the gathering of relevant data that I could get from variousr websites but this puts it all in your hands. I would recommend it to family and friends for their edification. As to speed, we are watching a storm that is crawling across in a vast ocean. When the storm gets to to within 36 hours of land fall I switch to my state' own storm watch system which covers where I live in greater detail. I still love this app.

Hurricane Tracker App Customer Service, Editor Notes:

- We are introducing active storm widgets! No more opening the app to see if there are active systems. See this information right on your home screen! Small widget - will display up to 4 storm types. When there are active systems, this widget will only display storm types with active storms. When there are no active storms, it will display 4 storm categories (hurricanes, tropical storms, depressions & invests) showing "0" storms. Medium widget - will always display up the 5 storm types even if they are "0". Widgets will automatically refresh and pull the latest storm counts from the server. Widgets will also update when you launch the app. When you tap on a widget, you will be taken to the "Current Storms" section of the app to view information on active storms. Storm types with active systems will animate and show the number of active storms within each storm type. The number represents how many active systems there currently are within that storm type. For example, if "hurricanes" is showing a "1" then that means there is one active hurricane we are tracking. The storm types are hurricanes (red), tropical storms (orange), depressions (green), potential tropical cyclones (blue), and invests (teal). Note: Due to limited space within the small widget, it will only show up to 4 storm types at once. The medium widget will always show the status of all 5 storm types. Widgets will display Atlantic or Eastern Pacific storm counts based on your "default basin settings" located in the settings panel of the app. - Bug fixes
