fix it.. Upset with the app cuz i loved having my boyfriends messages on my lockscreen until i got a new phone and didnt switch numbers! it doesnt do anything with my number and it makes me upset i cant write messages and i cant do anything with the app. I emailed the "help support" and they kept sending back the basic help for me. i believe my emails arent even going to a person just a bot.

Idk. It’s not a bad app for when you wanna leave you significant other something to wake up to in the morning for when they first open there phone

Love it my favorite. Such a great app this app is a app where you could text friends and contact them. It is super fun. I use it with my best friends and we absolutely love it especially I use it with my mom too so I can contact her if I don’t have any Internet instead of texting her

Good app. This app has good and bad qualities. I love how the widget is added to your Lock Screen, and you can change the theme. Although I think the app could be better if you could have more than one partner. (The reason for four stars instead of five) This way if anyone is single they can still add their friends to their Home Screen! Over all I love the idea of this app, and the execution is good too. Just in general the theme of the app is cute and I’m quite fond of the app! I hope the developers take time to carefully consider some ideas as such! Have a good day or night!

My experience!. love this app! my boyfriend and i use this app, it’s literally the best thing !! but i do have one suggestion! add more app icon options, the other ones are cool but i would like more to choose from!! 🤗

What’s the point?. My girlfriend convinced me to download it and she explained to me what it was and how it worked, but I don’t see the difference in this and checking a text message when I pops up onto your phone. It just feels useless when you can just open your message app and text whoever. It’s fun for the first couple hours because of the novelty, but then it dies quickly.

Disappointed :(. The app itself is a very cute concept and I wish more then anything that it worked as well as its supposed to. It takes AGES for the messages to appear on the screen. I get a notification from the app saying “*name* left a message!” And then I have to open the app to see it before it ever appears on my screen. It’s incredibly unfortunate and I’m very disappointed.

Fun but I want more friends. I’ve only had this app for a day and it’s very fun. I get to send my friends silly words anytime I want. But I want to be able to invite more friends. When I invited more than 5 people I was told that I exceeded the amount

I’m only writing a review because I love this app and want it at its full potential. I LOVE THIS APP. I think it’s so cute to see a cute little message from your partner instead of texting. BUT, there’s a problem with the notifications. Both me and my boyfriend’s notifications for the app stopped working for a while:( If I can make a suggestion, could you add an option to look at the chat history on the app through payment instead of collecting five Locksmith partners? I’d totally pay for that.

Locksmith. It’s a great app and the idea of having your best friend or boyfriend/girlfriend send you cute little messages to your Lock Screen is so cute, but when I downloaded it I asked my best friend to download it too. When she downloaded it I sent her the link and then she downloaded it, but we still couldn’t figure out how to do it. We kept trying to add each other as a partner but it wouldn’t work it ended with us having our messages filled with links to locksmith. If someone has any tips pls tell meee.

Great but….. This is a great app but it would not let me add more than one person we tried every thing it just would not work it was so frustrating but other than that the one friend I did have it was so fun writing notes back and forth.

Super cute!. This app is so cute! It’s super easy and fun to use. You can choose a colored icon for the app if you make a match of two people, and the icons have a small selection but the colors are nice. I definitely recommend it for you and your friends or partner

Good concept, not great execution. My boyfriend convinced me to download this app. I really like the idea of sending little notes to each other’s lock screens. It worked really well at first, however it’s not working as well now, and I’ve only had the app for a few days. Now, I receive a notification that he’s put a new message on my Lock Screen widget, but it won’t update until many, many hours later, if at all. So in order to actually see the message, I have to open the app, which defeats the purpose of even having the Lock Screen widget. I realize this is a relatively new app, so I hope the developers work out the bugs soon.

App. It is pretty good but it gets annoying at times. Almost everything on the app needs at least 3 partners or money. The devices to use it have to be an apple product and a phone or else it will not work.

This app. This app allows me and my friends to talk on each others Home Screens so when I wake up and go to bed I see cute little notes from my friend on my Home Screen you can also Mitch and match your friends together it’s a great way to connect and communicate with friends and family

Fun, but not as convenient. I really like this app to see every morning or night, a little message my friend has sent me. It’s very fun to use and I love it for that. But it’s very laggy. It takes like at least 30 seconds to 1 minute for me to get into the app after I’ve clicked on the message from the Home Screen or the app. And no it’s not my internet, I’ve tried it so many places and it’s just the app itself that’s laggy. Also super annoying how only certain people from my contacts show up in the match maker section. And it’s completely random too, not like most recent or anything too. Super frustrating when I finally load into the app and when I try to click inbox or make a new message half the inbox shows up before freezing and same with the keyboard. Then I hit a few buttons and it then catches up and everything is being clicked on at once. Other than those few issues, it’s a pretty great app 😊

Quite literally doesn’t work. I downloaded the app and it won’t let me add who I want too. The search function is broken and when my partner sent me a invite it only took me to the download page. Absolutely horrible that this is the launching status of this app. Please fix it

Preordered the app! And having it is even better!. Was recommended try out the app and it’s super fun now being able to share messages on partners Lock Screen during work without sending a text and being to distracting! Keep it up SendIt!!

Issue. Okay so I let it use my contacts, and the person I’m looking for (who has the app too and has it set up but needed the other person) isn’t on it and I have their number and everything as a contact, I’ve even searched on the app, I’ve deleted it, I’ve changed settings back and forth, I’ve made sure it all should work, but it doesn’t please tell me how to fix it or try to fix it

problems in app. I thought this would be a very fun app for my best friend and I to use, however I couldn't even open the app. When you first download it, it brings you to a mimic of the lock screen on an iPhone. You click a button reading "add my lock screen widget" which I did Next you have to put in your phone number. This is where I ran into the issues. I have tried multiple times, including deleting and redownloading the app. I put in my phone number, the hit the button reading "next" and a little loading symbol appears next to my entered phone number. Then, nothing happens. No matter how many times I hit the "next" button, if I'm connected to wifi or not it does not work. I hope the fix this issue

A few complaints. Good overall.. My only complaint about Locksmith is that I wish it had more features like custom greetings for your friends. I also wish the max number of partners was bigger maybe up to 10, but other than that, I like it.

Is it just me or does it not let you put your phone number is. I’ve uninstalled the app and re-downloaded it at least twice now. Every time I try to get past the first part where you put your phone number it, it doesn’t let me move on to the next page. I press “next” and it shows a small loading screen, then it disappears and I’m still on the same page. I tried manually putting in my phone number, autofill, and I even tried putting in my boyfriends number to see if it was just my phone number that won’t work, but no matter what I do, I can’t get past the first page!! Is it just a me problem??

Great app but had issues!. This is such a fun and creative app! I love it and love how i I can send encouraging messages to my friends on their Lock Screen… An issue that is persisting with me and my friends is that after I’ve got one or two friends, when I try to add more people, it says they already have 5 friends… even though they only have one or two friends like me. How can this be resolved?

Great app but friends are the problem. It’s an amazing app to talk to your friends but I’m have a problem of adding people from there phone to mine When I send the link to the person the app just sends you back to the app and no friend request is sent and I still have no partner. Hoping I get a solution to my friend request problems

Widget won’t update unless you open the app. It appears that a new message will only display if the app has been opened. Otherwise, it may take many hours for the widget to update on its own. This is frustrating because why would I even have the widget if I just have to open up the app anyways. I hope the developers fix this soon. It seems like it should be an easy fix but then again I’m not a coder so what do I know.

Awesome. This app is so frikin awesome. It’s a blast seeing my friends type random things and put it on my screen. We type funny things and cute things it’s a blast. Definitely recommend getting!

love it. this app allows me to tell my girlfriend words of affirmation without feeling like I’m bothering her. it also is a great reminder for both her and i since it’s on our lock screen

Contacts. I love this app, and it’s really cute! But some of my contacts aren’t showing up. I’ve tried deleting it, I’ve tried logging out, I’ve tried deleting the contact, I’ve tried renaming the contact, none of it worked. Can you please fix this?

wouldn’t let me get started. this app looks very interesting and fun, however, it would not let me into the app. after I entered my phone number, it had my verify that I wasn’t a robot. I must have messed up because it sent me back to enter my phone number. it wouldn’t let me enter it again and now I can’t even get into the app. i’m really disappointed because the app looked like fun.

It’s good. I give it a 5 because it may seem like messages but if you put you phone on silent you still get it, it is easier to communicate.

Recommend but…. It’s definitely a good app and it’s fun but my friend as a joke put her name as “Bob Ross” and even though there is a button to change your name, we couldn’t actually get it to work. The button didn’t do anything. And it’s a little complicated to set up. I think texting is pretty much the same thing and it’s less complex to figure out. I think it’s a good app and a great idea but it could use some work. If you want to get the app go ahead! If you don’t, that’s also a good choice in my opinion. 🫶🏼🔑🔒😕🖤👌🏼3️⃣

Can’t seem to get it to work. Hubby and I have iPhones with iOS 16+ and neither of us can seem to connect thru the app. Both of us have sent the other a connection request and both of our screens currently say to send the other a reminder (which we’ve tried and it doesn’t work). Very disappointing. I thought this was a really cute idea.

Great Idea, lots of problems. My best friend and I downloaded this app to feel more connected since we live a little ways from each other. It started out really fun but then the app stopped keeping our history which really disappointed us. Now, we don’t get notifications when the other changes what’s on the lockscreen and we have tried EVERYTHING to figure the issue out. Really sad cause we started out loving the app, and now both are deleting it due to all the bugs

Not my cup of tea.. My girlfriend wanted me to download this app. I downloaded it and it’s incredibly annoying. Not only does it consistently ask and pressure you to enable notifications, but also to your complete contacts list. Personally, I don’t care how legit your company is. You don’t need access to that. In addition to this, each time that you do basically anything, it’ll pressure you to enter settings and enable these permissions. It’s a nice idea, but extremely predatory.

Awesome way to communicate with far loved ones. my sister is in college so this was a great way to contact her without her having to answer a call when she’s busy or something like that she can view it when she isn’t busy and it is overall a great app

Awesome. This app has been great for long distance! Does exactly as stated. Very little to no ads and if you want it for more than one person you can have several. Great for all your friends family or anyone!

Good idea, but doesn’t work very well. Decided to download for my boyfriend and I but it’s not working out as we planned. We really liked the idea but it won't update when we try to send each other a message so to actually see the message pop up in the widget we have to open the app. Definitely defeats the purpose of even having the Lock Screen widget, we are hoping the developers work out the bugs soon so we can have this app for us

Couldn’t even start.. So i thought this app would be cool to try with my friends, so i got it. One of the first steps is to put in your phone number, when i put mine in it just has a loading symbol. i tried it with different phone number from different devices around my house, and it still didn’t work. I think the concept of this app is great but please fix this!

Price. It’s good Ig but I wish I wouldn’t have to pay to make it look good on my Lock Screen like false advertisement is a no no it doesn’t say anywhere that I have to pay to make it look good on my Lock Screen in the App Store… sooooooo still like the app tho :)

Good app, but wont work.. I got this app months ago, so that I could send my friends messages and make them appear on their lock screens. I have downloaded and deleted the app several times, but it still wont work. When I go to add friends it shows my contact list, and “invite by text.” And when my friends send me requests, I get the notification, but it doesn't show up in the app. I have been trying to send emails to them but nothing they have told me to do has been working. It works for my other friends, which have the same exact phone as me. This app is really cute and a good idea but it just won’t work for me

“Make A Match” is so annoying. I will not be adding people to the app, I’m not gonna play “matchmaker” with random people in my phone that literally don’t know the other person. And because of not wanting to do that, I don’t get to change the app theme, or delete the past messages so that I don’t see (38) next to my application all in all its a cool concept but the actual practical use of the app is really annoying, for the reasons stated above.

Wth. It will not work for me! Ive heard so many things about this app so i got it and i decided to get it. I get this app and it’s asking me for my number and then i add it but when i click next it wont work nothing will work! Ive tried so many things but it still wont work

I’m new to the app. Hi, I just got this app and I only see one minor issue. I cannot change my profile picture. I have looked on google and can’t find a solution. My profile picture is one of my face looking silly from years ago and I need to change it before my friends see it. I am a teenager and this is very embarrassing. Please add that feature and if you did already, please, please, please tell me how to use it. Other then that I haven’t had any issues and it works wonderfully.

Fun!. Me and my party et use this app whenever we are bored, even when we sit right next to each other. Although he annoys me so much, he puts random things on it and people question it when they look at my phone. The worst part of it, which is the reason it lost a star is that for us it was difficult to add each other on. I have their previous app too and has the same problem. I’d like if that was fixed, but overall it’s good. I might also want more to do in this app since it’s a little boring.

Great concept terrible and inconsiderate execution. I used to love this app because I used to be able to share cute little messages with my partner. Ever since I updated it, it’s given me a character limit which is so limited I have to type like I used to on my Nokia. Which really just ruins it for me. What really bothers me is the hurdles you must jump through before you can increase your limit. Plus there’s not even an option to just purchase an upgrade to increase the character limit. Instead I was first asked to add 3 more partners to unlock this “extra benefit” which to me defeats the purpose once again - because I only have one partner… I managed to encourage 3 of my friends to download the app just so I could qualify to increase my character limit. But NOW I go to send my partner and it’s restricted my character count AGAIN. With the newest requirement being I have 5 partners! I find these requirements very inconsiderate and shows a lack of understanding of the apps marker demographic. Secondly the fact that these requirements have changed within a 2 week period has only increased my distrust and distaste in this app even more! (To the point I’ve decided to post my first ever App Store review). Thirdly this needs change completely nullifies the effort I put in to get 3 more friends and it’s put me back to square one with no additional benefits for now having 3 partners. Now I’m not only annoyed, disappointed, frustrated and fed up. I’m not convinced that if I even meet this requirement that it will allow me the “reward” of a larger word limit for very long. Overall great idea - terrible and inconsiderate execution

meh. The app is quite nerve racking as you can only send it to people who are in your contacts. Therefore meaning that you cannot do it with people on whatsapp or snapchat who are overseas

App doesn’t work anymore. I get even log into my account and neither can any of my friends that I asked download the app to add me, I can’t get past the phone number part of the app, it used to work like a year ago tho

Doesn’t work on iPhone 15. Completely broken on iPhone 15. Transferred my apps from my 12 to 15, and after multiple reinstalls, the app still will not let me enter my number and allow me to use the app. Hopefully a fix coming soon b/c I really enjoyed this

Umm. It is a great idea and like the only app that can do this but it doesn’t work. You try and add someone and it doesn’t work, you send it on messages the link takes you to the App Store. Ummm yeah, please fix bug

It’s good. It’s pretty good, can leave a cute message for your besties, I enjoy this app. One thing I wish could be a thing: I wish we could add more than 5 people, that would be great. But it probably won’t happen. Still great app tho.

Can’t get past phone number. I’ve tried over and over again for a couple of days to try and continue with this app, but I can’t get past the part where it says to enter my phone number. I don’t know what else to do because there’s only so many options on the screen and I’ve pressed all of them. Nothing works. very annoying.

good for a little bit then stopped working. it worked so well for a few months, then I suddenly stopped get the notifications and my lock screen never updated with the new message. i tried to delete the app and redownload and now i can’t even add my number. really unfortunate because seeing the notes made my day. hopefully there will be an update to fix it!

Let me change my number. I had this app, then I got a new number as I got hacked with my other number and I can’t change my number in the app, even when I uninstall and reinstall, if there is a way to change it now I can not figure it out, please fix this.

CANT EVEN GET IN!!. So i open the app and it shows the iphone lockscreen with the demonstration of the widget, and then when i click “add my lock screen widget” it brings me to a page to add my phone number, and whenever i click next, it doesnt work!! Not good. It worked for an hour and then stopped working immediately and now we won’t receive the message unless we open the app to see it. I keep trying to get ahold and get help but no one has tried to reach out. They really don’t care about your problem so really don’t bother.

Can’t even add anyone. I’m trying to add my partner and it’s not working at all? We both tried nothing is working. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed as I thought this was a cute app but it won’t even work. It’s frustrating and idk what to do. Soo try to fix this and yeah. A little issue. Are use this app in the past and work really good but I’m trying to log back in and won’t let me. I don’t know why, but if I can find a way back in I will keep using it. .

bad. it might just be me, but this app is so hard to get to work. i’ve tried to update it, delete it & download it again, send multiple emails & nothing works. when i downloaded the app it had my name as “miranda🫶” when that’s not my name nor my contact names in anyone’s phone, i used my number so idk why my name was that. i wanted to add my friend & it would send me the text messages but wouldn’t let me add her on the app. it won’t let me log out or delete my account. it’s a cute app & it worked for some of my friends but it’s not very good for me.

Unnecessarily Cumbersome. It has potential to be a great app. However, allow me to pay for the extras or make them a choice not a must! It seems weird that I must make a match to have other options. Is this a want to be dating app or something. Do better!

Okay but could be better. After a while it stops updating the messages so even if you send new ones the person wont see them unless they open the app which defeats the purpose of having new little messages on your/their lock screen.

Doesn’t work. I have tried everything including downloading a text now app and using that phone number. I don’t understand how this worked for my sister but it is not working for me. Every time I click the help buttons and try to leave a email it says that it can’t go through.

Does not work. So I can not enter my number and no matter how many times I press next it doesn’t do anything. So I decided to press the need help thing, guess what! I immediately received and email back but not from them, from Google mail saying that the email I sent that to basically doesn’t exist.🤦‍♀️ This is stupid

loved it at first, now i’m disappointed ):. my sister lives across the country and we thought this would be a cute app for us to use. we used it for over 2 years and it was great! then i got a new phone december 2023 and that’s when the issues arise. i went to enter my phone number to add it to my lock screen right away, and it doesn’t take my phone number. i tried deleting and redownloading about 30+ times and nothing works. i ever reached out to customer service and i never got anything back. i truly think this app is an abandoned project.

Needs improvement. Great concept but the most recent messages won’t automatically show up on the widget on the Home Screen. Same issue with my girlfriend on her end.

fix the bug please🙏🏼. it seems that others have run into the same issue. it may be a bug, but as soon as i put the widget on my lock screen and enter my phone number, clicking the next button, i get stuck and it never sends me to the next page. i usually don’t write reviews, ever, but this is disappointing. especially since this app seems to be very popular and successful. please fix this bug so that future users can use the app and not face the same disappointment as i, and other previous users, have.

seems cool just wish i could use it .. my friend had introduced this app to me , i figured it was cute and would be perfect for my friend and boyfriend to check up in each other thruout the day in a cuter way instead of just texting . however after verifying my number the link that was supposed to allow me and my friend to add each other didn’t work , we tried resending it and even deleting the app then reinstalling it . i really wish i could use this app because it does in fact seem sweet and a fun way to message people that are important in my life .

It would be a cool feature. I’m having trouble choosing someone I want to send the link to in my contacts 😂 I think it would be a cool option to partner with someone else random on the app

New User - Laggy App. I downloaded this app today, and after it asks my number, and I put in my phone number and hit next. It gives me the loading symbol and then it goes away, and doesn’t proceed. Contacted support, haven’t heard back. I’d love to really try this app out but I can’t seem to get past this glitch on the app. 😥

Can’t get in. Right as you go into the app it shows you a lock screen with the widget on display. Next you have to type in your phone number which I’ve tried multiple times and it just won’t work. I saw that other people were having this problem so I’m wondering how to get in.

Love the concept! But doesn't work all the time. Me and my gf love this and think it's a cute idea. But sometimes when we send eachother messages it doesn't pop up until we open the app and read it. Kind of defeats the whole purpose if you ask me lol

not showing contacts correctly. i love this app and i live the concept, its just that i wanted to get this with my girlfriend but we both tried and we cant because it doesn't show all of our contacts. if you go to the add button, all it shows is a little portion of our contacts and not all of them. we both got the app and joined through each others links but it wont let us add each other without telling them to “download” it when they already have it. im going to keep the app to see if the problem is fixed though.

Good app have small issue. I also recently downloaded this app and I love it, but it has been recently not updated on my lock screen. I have to go into the app to get it to update and that really does defeat the purpose of it. I hope this gets fixed soon!

Can’t add all my contacts. The app works just fine but I cannot add all of my contacts it only shows a few of them please fix when you can (I know the app is still new)

Did not work. I downloaded this app a while ago but whenever I put in the phone number it would glitch and not let me use the app. It has not worked at all even after deleting and re installing. I did write a email but the team never got back to me or fixed the bug.

Needs a bit of work. I think they need to add something that tells you how to add the widget to your lock screen. Me and the other person I’m trying to use it with can’t figure out how to add it to our lock screens so we can’t use the app properly :/

Sad times. This is a good app but it needs to be updated to work with IOS 17. As of now I am running iOS 17 and it won’t work now because it only runs on iOS 16.
