Starlink Comments & Reviews 2026

Starlink 5 STARS!!!. Our family has dealt with a local company for 20+ years that basically had a monopoly on the area we live in with not many other options for us to choose from in our rural area for internet services. We would lose internet connection every week and sometimes daily. We would contact them and they said that they would send out a service tech, which could take two weeks or longer. We have a family online business so it was basically impossible for us to run a successful business dealing with these clowns on a regular basis. Out of total frustration, I finally had enough and purchased Starlink and it has been a true BLESSING, my wife and I were totally shocked by what we have been missing out on for all these years. It’s a game changer!!!! Thanks Starlink for an Awesome Product and for making it possible for us to continue to run our family online business right from the comfort of our own home with absolutely no issues. In fact, we now have high speed internet all the time and consistently.

Wow!!!. I live in an area where high speed internet is done via satellites. We tried numerous companies and the data was not reliable, buffered all of the time and was horribly expensive. We purchased the starlink set up and actually danced once it was installed because we were so pleased with the connectivity. Fast forward to today and my service has dropped about 7 times since install but the issues were caused by weather and a lot of snow. The longest outage we have encountered was roughly 10 minutes but we also received 2 feet of snow that day. I cannot tell you how pleased we are to have this service. Our experience, 100$ a month cheaper, no outages for extended periods of time and fast downloads. We don’t experience any buffering when streaming videos and movies. I recommend this setup to everyone I meet that complains about rural internet availability. We recently had high speed cable internet brought down our road and this service works so well that we will not switch. They only offer good deals when bundled and change prices once your “trial” period is over. We had the cable internet in the past and it didn’t work as well as starlink. The company and people setting all of this up are amazing! A fantastic product and service!

Beware of Starlink. You finally get your Dishy after waiting 6 months, you pull it out of the box and plug it all in. You see the dish start to move, it’s amazing, the app onboarding is buttery smooth and within 10 minutes you have fast internet. That’s how Starlink used to be prior to Dec 2022. I began to have issues with my service, many outages, constant speed drops (slower than dial-up at times). Reached out to Starlink support mid-Dec I didn’t get any response by Jan 10th so I filed a report with the FCC two weeks later they responded to my support ticket, they decide they don’t know what the issue is and send new equipment, another 2 weeks go by, issue still persists and I’ve been unable to reliably contact their support since (end of Feb). If it works, it works great, if it doesn’t you’re in a word of pain trying to get through to support, which they don’t offer any kind of phone support so you play a game of cat and mouse using their support chat within Starlink, which again can take minimum weeks once they respond to you. That is even if the app will let you send a message, feels about 20% of all support messages that I send either go unsent or disappear after saying they’ve been sent. Watch out for Starlink, I believe they’ve over promised their capacity of the network and are overselling regions, hiking service prices, and generally running a consumer unfriendly company.

Excellent App. The Starlink’s App is excellent. It allows for easy set-up of Starlink and of your WiFi user name / password. It’s interface is simple, attractive and functional, allowing you to check your network locally or from thousands of miles away. Features include network statistics, speed check, on-line status, dish obstructions, control of the 2.4 and 5Ghz networks, remote reboot and more. This also allows you to turn on and off heat mode (snow melting) in the satellite dish, which is useful if you’re running off battery / solar to reduce current draw. I’ve been using Starlink for about six months and this App has always been stable and continues to improve. A guest network for the Starlink router would be great, but I just use a second router for this. I think Starlink’s goal has been to make this interface stupid simple and it is! Excellent work by the developer!

The best service in our rural area. Over the years we have used Direct TV, Dish, Prime Star, Wild Blue, Viasat, Hughesnet and others. All of them gave us streaming service which was ok in good weather. All of them provided some kind of internet service but it would have been faster to build our own rocket and taken our upload to space to the satellite ourself. In bad weather nothing worked. It was always 1996 satellite service. Then we bought Starlink. I’m always online for business using video services, email and more. My kids play every game they have on PlayStation 5 with no issues. The service dropping in bad weather is rare and when it does it’s usually only for a few minutes. I have more issues with the electric staying on than Starlink. Starlink is the only service you need. It’s fare above all the others even though the satellites are much lower 😂😂😂.

Tanner Lowrance. I just recently got home from Guam and I live in a tiny town in New Mexico in the middle of nowhere and the Internet is typically around 29-35Mb a second when downloading something and it costs around 115 bucks a month advertising that’ll it’ll provide 100Mb speeds and has never delivered. I got Starlink and the first time I used it on steam I was having over 450Mb download speeds that would download games faster than any internet I’ve ever had and it doesn’t stop there. Not only does gaming have less ping and the convenience of downloading a game not take 18 hours anymore I’ve noticed a drastic change in streaming movies with quality alone. You actually get rid of the pixilated screen when streaming and have high resolution the entire movie or show with 0 buffering. Thanks for such an amazing product you provide especially with such a simple interface where you can see how all your equipment is performing as well. This product is well thought out and overall worth it for just 5 dollars more a month than I was paying for other WiFi that just doesn’t cut it when you get used to the luxury of Starlink.

Our Community. I have yet to get my kit but I have friends who have just received theirs. I just have to say that we are incredibly grateful for this service. My friends have been blown away by the speed and consistency that they are able to receive using Starlink in our small community. With Covid-19 the need for reliable internet skyrocketed and our community, which still does not have cell phone coverage over approximately half of it and has had the equivalent to dial up internet over the majority is waiting with great anticipation to test out and use this new service. Which is less expensive than the other satellite service we currently have and is unlimited verses the 10 gb limit of our current satellite. Needless to say we are appreciative and grateful for Starlink!

Rural Internet Service in ILL. Thank you Elon and everyone at Starlink. What an amazing internet system. We were told fiber was coming and even signed a contract with our local fiber company for internet service. But due to DEI and Illinois government politics our infrastructure upgrade was cancelled. So way to go Starlink, the private sector always moves at light speed compared to our horribly oppressive government system here in Illinois. So thankful my family will have internet the next time we are told to keep them home from school due to whatever they think of next. We’re are also thankful and support Elons strong stance on our 1st amendment rights, you have our business and our attention, keep up the good work. May God continue to bless you and your businesses.

Awesome Internet and Outstanding Service. We purchased Starlink equipment a month or two ago and just got around to setting it up. It is very easy to set up. I live on 14 acres so, I purchased the pole adapter and placed it on a 2.5 inch pole and ran the cable through it. I wanted it out of the way and unseen so, I placed it 250’ feet away from the house in a field. I had an issue with a cable, but when I contacted customer service, they were quick to identify the issue and send another cable. Now, it works great. I would highly recommend it. It gives you the ability to control setup and any service issues that may arise since you can fix the majority of them on your own with minimal assistance.

It was good. App works fine, dish is easy enough to set up and I love the mobility of Starlink. But over the last 2 years I’ve seen a steady decline in speed and availability. I have enough connection to keep working. But the 30 second to 5 min outages for network issues gets very old when they’re frequent. I went from an issue once every month or 2 to weekly disconnects. Cons: data cap, raising my rate for living in a congested area (rural Montana is congested…?), dropping speeds, and no ability to use my own equipment!!! I made a jumper so I didn’t have to fish the Ethernet from the dish to my router through my house whenever I wanted to pick up and go. As soon as I connected it, my speeds got throttled and the app was saying the cord was damaged. Once I skipped the jumper, I was good to go (the pin test on my jumper passed, so it wasn’t an issue with my jumper). Pros: internet anywhere with a clear sky and an outlet.

Non-Rural Area Customer. You don’t have to live in the sticks to be a customer. You also don’t have to put up with your “local ISP” issues just because they are what everyone else has. Starlink has been a huge success for our family. Granted we went with the upgraded Business Internet service but we also work from home half the time so it’s a business expense for us. I believe we’ve had Starlink 2 years now and never had a single issue. We took down a couple trees that were too close to the house anyways and since then we have had ZERO instructions and crystal clear YoutubeTV along with all the other streaming apps. We are even considering switching all our business locations to Starlink because of the success we have had these last couple years.

5 Stars all the way!. If you are on the fence about Starlink, just do it! After calling the cable company to get internet my home was less than a quarter mile from an access point but turned down. Next up DSL and had been using that at 3 to 4 Mbps. I called trying to get an increase in speed but was told what I had .. the 5 Mbps was the best they could do due to my location. A friend at work has Starlink and told me how awesome it works and he could now have his wife homeschool their son!!! So I signed up thinking all along this is like satellite internet and would be laggy and such but I was blown away when 20 minutes in aligning my Starlink in my front yard on the ground 120 Mbps!!!!! So it normally runs at least 100 Mbps minimum I’m on month 2 with it sitting on my lawn not mounted to roof of house yet and I tell everyone how well it performs right out of the box!!!

Amazing. I live in a rural area. We have been stuck with 3M DSL for over 20 years and the options weren’t going to be getting better. I drug my feet on getting Starlink because I wasn’t sure it would work with all the surrounding trees. I decide to give it a try since there was a generous return policy. All I can say is that it has been simply amazing. I routinely get between 250 to 350M download speed on my side of the router and occasionally hitting over 400. It has worked much better than I could have expected. I did have to put it up on a flagpole to clear the trees, but wasn’t difficult. If you are dragging your feet like I was, I would suggest just making the purchase. You won’t be disappointed.

We Were Skeptical. Having since taken the dive and gotten Starlink, it’s been amazing. We live out the middle of nowhere and have not been able to have Internet out here for a while over a year. There’s no service out here with phones so like there’s nothing really. We caved and went ahead and put our order in and as we waited for it to come, we were just back-and-forth and going is this even worth it, are we gonna regret this. To be honest, it was the best decision ever when it came to Internet!!!! Have never had good WiFi out here anytime. Decent, can work with it WiFi? Sure, but good? No way. Yes, the initial cost is expensive, believe me that’s why it took us so long to do it. We don’t have that extra money, we have 6 kids at home 😂🥴 so we relied on our tax return to do this. We don’t regret it at all! So worth it!!!!

Worth it!. Starlink has been one of the best decisions we made when deciding to get rid of our Internet cable service. We live in a rural area and get fantastic results; fast speeds, reliability, and excellent service! There are times when the weather is stormy that you may lose not for very long you can go right to the app and they have it back online within minutes or sometimes seconds… The monthly price is more expensive than the other cable Internet providers but it is worth it if you rely on the Internet for work or a home business or even just surfing the web. With other providers, the speeds were slow, and we’re watching TV the buffering constant. The customer service wasn’t great and when the Internet would go out, it would take more time for them to get it back working again. I would highly recommend Starlink!

A lot of positives/decently priced. I have had starlink for a year and a half. It’s the best satellite internet out there. It can compare to hard wire internet. We have had a few issues when it changes satellites at night we would lose signal around 10:00 pm. After a few weeks that issue stopped. My nephew said he had no issues with gaming. We have ran 4 tv without no lag and never ran out of data. That’s a major plus. We had other providers for satellite and data usage would always throttle. One time we had a issue where I believe the satellite malfunction and we lost internet for over a week. A new dish was sent and we were refunded. The new dish works great and it was fairly easy to get replaced. Even during thunderstorms the internet works great. I hope they continue to update the system it has been a lifesaver for my family and when they have to do school work.

Been great. Starlink has maintained good coverage on bad days and great on clear days i will have to say I'm impressed finally an IP that works and does what it says it fairly easy to set up, mine is the gen 2 auto tracking model so an older model now and work great they are a few dips when it switches to a different satellite but I've never noticed much i stream lots and game alot even do some live streaming and it work just fine would recommend and the best part as long as i have power i have internet which says a lot since Helene hit us took out the mountains pretty much but we were able to stay up todate and communicate with the outside world it never stop, Starlink even help us with our bills and gave units out to help people so has my support. Thanks starlink

Living rural!. We have always lived just out of reach. For many years. In the early 2000’s we had cell phones we could only use if we were in the city or at work. An hour plus away! Today we still live in a rural area. Still have no internet or cell services in my area. When starlink came out it was the only thing my kids wanted for Christmas. We had satellite internet that was NOT starlink and we had to pay for a landline. Years later I get asked all the time from friends, family and the like about starlink. They all want to know if the hype is real. I tell them, I’ll be taking my starlink to my next home. Where ever that might be. I’m selling my property and am asked if I’ll leave the starlink. Ummmmm no. Especially since I believe the new improved equipment is way more expensive. And why would I? I’ve NEVER had a problem with it. We watch TV, game, surf internet, shop and make calls and I have NEVER had an issue. I don’t know of any other product I can say that about. STARLINK FAMILY FOR LIFE!

Very rural area service. As a remote worker it was extremely important that I have a reliable connection. We tried AT&T hotspots among others and even the cell boosters. Nothing could provide us with the upload and download speeds needed to have a seamless experience. It was a GOD send when we were finally notified that our area of the country (AR rural area within meters of a national refuge) had the ability to finally purchase our Starlink setup. Since then our internet service has been outstanding with the exception of days that we may get a downpour but that has been at a minimum, as far as interruptions in service. 99% of the time we don’t experience any downtime. An awesome service for those of us who prefer the serenity of being out of the city life but may still require reliable and fast internet speeds. Can’t wait until there is a mobile phone service like this. Thank you !

NEED DIRECTIONAL STOW. RV/Tractor Trailer/Mobile uses need a directional stow option!!!! Dishy mounted on mobile vehicles in a specific orientation cannot stow properly after each location change. I spent all day coming up with a creative “pole mount” for my truck (tractor trailer). I utilized a ratcheted load bar that truckers use to secure loads. These are already stored in a rack attached to the back of the cab. After meticulous measurements I was able to create a mount whereby I can crank Dishy up above my truck height, then back down below before driving. Dishy was mounted on the load bar pole parallel with the back of the truck cab that left 4 inches space from touching. Everything was perfect until Dishy first whirled around to locate satellites. Everything still great. Until later when I hit stow and lazy Dishy just tilted down in the new orientation. Now I can’t crank down my mount because the side of Dishy hits the truck. And since the load bar pole has a racket handle sticking out it can’t be rotated. Please, please, please add a directional stow option to spin Dishy first to a specific location before stow for RV/Truck mounts that need to stow in original orientation! Especially for the fact that we constantly change locations!!! This is going to be a PITA everyday because truckers move everyday!! Please add this to the app and you’ll get 6 stars!!!!

Extreme Rural Service. I live an hours drive to town each way and at least a mile down a very terrible dirt road. Many of us are considered off-grid living because we are not connected to the power grid instead we use generator, solar, etc. Before Starlink was available I could not get internet services, no streaming television, no learning new things online, no connection to the world. When I heard of Starlink I was skeptical that it would work. Living on ssi meant that getting Starlink was going to be a huge financial strain mostly because of the large upfront cost of equipment. I can say that having Starlink has changed my life for the better. The service is truly exceptional! I would not hesitate to recommend this to everyone. It’s worth it!

Helene Relief. Dear Elon, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity in helping those without internet or cell service during this disastrous time in the state of NC and in our SouthEastern states. I write you this setting in my home with my wife, four children and Mother-in-law. Because of your product and kindness, so many homes and Emergency personal have been able to connect and communicate with friends and loved ones, and relay information to EMS, Law Enforcement and Fire Departments to get relief for those in need. Western North Carolina is forever indebted to your support in helping us stay connected to get others the help they desperately need. May God bless you and protect you! With all gratitude and respect, Jacob Woody. P.S. as far as product reviews, easy to setup, easy to use with clear instructions. Superior internet speed with almost absolutely no latency. In this humble public school teachers opinion I give your product and associated software/app a 10/10!

The new standard for home internet!. I’m an IT admin and I’m floored. I came to set this satellite service up for a family who lives a rural, desert location and I expected it to be a slight improvement over their existing satellite internet provider who I CONSTANTLY heard complaints about but I couldn’t do anything (I’m not an ISP and the cable and phone companies won’t drop service here). They finally got into this Starlink program and now I want it! The transparency, simplicity, and the SERVICE are GREAT! This should be what the other ISP’s are copying because I want visibility to know when my home’s last network outage occurred and the duration. Instead of guessing network speeds, they provide the testing tools right instead the app. It’s great! Since I am an IT Admin, I will say that I wish there were some MORE router configuration options available (like guest wireless, child safety tools, etc.) but NONE of that is a priority over the current tools that Starlink has provided here. Those are only things that could bog services and hardware down over time, so I’ll gladly take this setup and hope that they keep their foot on the pedal to become the next big ISP!

Skeptical. I tell ya! I was “on the fence” for months on getting Starlink. I wish I would’ve done it the first month I thought about it!!! I literally waisted a lot of months thinking about it, instead of just jumping in feet first and just doing it!! This company this internet the reviews the speed is beyond FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I am so happy with it! We have extreme high winds where we live with no trees for shelter or blocking the winds. So with that said we haven’t lost signal not even once!! The speed of the internet is great! I have told soooo many people about Starlink and I will continue to! If you are skeptical like myself and worry yourself to pieces about things like this. Just know I am that person. Best decision I finally ever made! Thank you Starlink for helping me make this expensive decision and knowing that it’s worth the money spent! Worth every penny!

No brainer. Starlink was the best decision I made. We live in rural WNC. Our internet was so bad before with local land lines, being on the very end of the leg. By the time it got to us they was nothing left. Megabits was nothing, but I was still paying for high speed internet just like the guy closest to town. Starlink is really fast we can finally stream movies with no buffering. It has been a blessing. We just went through hurricane Halene her in WNC. We didn’t have power or Phone for almost 4 weeks. We were blessed to still have a house and a generator so we still had internet. Just having the internet through all of that was a blessing because we could WiFi call and check local news for information. Thank you Elon Musk and all the people at Starlink. You have been a blessing to me for two years now. Thank you for all you done to get Starlink to all the people effected by hurricane Halene in the Mountains of WNC. Thanks again, Grover and family.

Internet/Wifi. For at least about 30 years I’ve been with Verizon using their wireless DSL for my internet. It did a lot of buffering and was very slow. The WiFi dropped calls all of the time. I live in about a 2000 square foot rancher one story brick home. Your average 3 bedroom two bath with living room, kitchen with adjacent dining area. One car garage that’s converted into a family gym. The yard outside, I have a nice spacious front, two sides and a backyard with a 12X16 shed/man-cave getaway. I can go anywhere on my property as well as inside the house in any room where there’s a lot of walls and can close the doors and still get awesome very strong reception without any buffering if on the internet on any of my devices or dropped calls if I’m on my cell. Glad I now have Star Link. I’m telling everyone and show them my equipment and the power that I now have. I have since then discontinued my services with Verizon completely other than my cellular service. 👍🏾💯

Best internet I’ve had!. I’m just outside of town where I have no choice of good internet. We have tried a few other options and not to put them on blast but they were way below standards of expectation and the money we were paying. We couldn’t even get a big cell phone company internet in our location to give us internet because we are not in “their” service area and we are less than 20 miles from a major city. Starlink is a game changer for us. We could never have our tv,iPads, PlayStation and all of our phones running on internet at once. They would lag and or not even connect. Myself would never have WiFi on because it would never work. Now I have no problems at all. We never lose or have to power down and reset the system to get it back on line. I absolutely love it! Best change I have ever made! Thank you Starlink!

Lousy, lousy, double lousy starlink app and support. Maybe Elon Musk is brilliant and maybe not. But the starlink app is some of the worst software ever perpetrated. Cryptic non-standard interface. It looks like and undergraduate coding project. Perhaps it was written in Pascal or Basic. I am attempting to add a mesh router. Online instructions say to do this in settings. Unfortunately, my starlink app seems to lack this ability. There is no bypass radio button in Settings. If I log onto Starlink on the web, it shows the grayed interface to choose by pass mode and says I have to do this in the app. Of course, this s cruel joke by some Muskolite pothead programmers who just needed a good laugh. My starlink was downloaded in May 2022 from the Apple Store, so it should be up to date. Maybe an ild version? So I tried to delete the app to reinstall. The icon disappears but the app is still there. I cannot reinstall it. WHAT A JOKE app. I guess they aren’t raking in enough cash to write functional software or provide ANY support. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. By the way, this is FACTUAL free speech, Elon.

Very Rural Community. My family and I live in a very rural community that has almost zero wifi access. There is wifi available in this area but it is insanely expensive and only realistically can handle one device at a time and that even is a struggle. We waited almost exactly a year without wifi or internet of any kind just because we were not willing to pay for a service that would not work. We bought Starlink probably about a week ago and it is absolutely amazing. We are currently running 8 devices and have not experienced any sort of issues with loading videos or even movies. Gaming and downloading games used to be unrealistic for us but with Starlink we are able to download several games in a day if we wanted. Honestly, we’ve lived in a decent sized city and the internet here is now better than what we were getting in the “city”. For anyone looking for excellent wifi without any buffering or downloading issues, get Starlink. Seriously. Do not waste your time and money on anything else.

An incredible top notch system at a competitive price. I live in rural North Carolina with limited cellular coverage/service and no cable. Both my wife and I work from home and require high speed internet. For the past 5 years I’ve tried satellite and cellular internet (Viasat and Verizon). Both were very limited and neither performed even close to what they claimed. In the case of Viasat it had download limits and became cost prohibitive. Verizon provides a couple different platforms but none could ever receive a consistently strong signal to function properly. Last week, after much research, I purchased and installed Starlink. Within minutes I felt like a caveman that had discovered fire. The internet speeds are absolutely amazing and consistent. The installation was a breeze and couldn’t be easier. Thank you Starlink the days of caveman internet access are over!

Starlink issues. So far, I LOVE my Starlink. As a full time Raver traveling around the country, it is above and beyond all other mobile internet services. Although, with all the good, there are some drawbacks. First and foremost… obstructions. Not all RV parks have a perfectly clear view of the sky. Even the slightest of covering by trees, building, etc… internet will slow to a crawl or not work at all. Secondly, the dish obviously must remain outside to have a clear view of the sky. Makes sense, but leaves the dish susceptible to the force of nature. We recently had a storm come through and damaged our dish. Luckily we had warranty and it was replaced at no charge. The issue that we ran into is that after setting up new Starlink kit, Starlink is trying to charge of for 2 accounts. Currently struggling with Starlink to make this right. All in all, it’s a fantastic product and I highly recommend utilizing it, but the drawbacks can be quite frustrating.

Most Reliable Service. I have had Starlink for 15 months now. It is faster, more reliable than any other service I have had in the past (satellite & DSL). In the time we’ve had our Starlink, we have only lost signal once & that only lasted about 20 minutes & the system corrected itself without having to reboot the whole system. We have multiple devices connected with zero lag time. Before Starlink, we had another satellite internet provider & it was constantly loosing signal when it rained or even a cloudy day. We were hitting data limits within 6 days of our cycle renewal & it cost more than Starlink. Now that we have Starlink I will never switch to another service provider.

Great until it became an Expensive paperweight. Edit to add an Update!! I finally received an email back and my account was reset. I changed my review to 5 stars bc it is an excellent internet service. I’ve had starlink for about a year now and everything was going great. I recently got married so my husband joined my phone plan (which resulted new phone/ new number for him) and I changed my name at my bank so that resulted in a new card being issued. His number/ my bank card was being used for the starlink account. Guess what that means?? We can’t access our starlink account due to the required 2 part authentication. We know the password but we can’t get the authenticator number since he has a new number. You can’t call or communicate with ANYONE to get this fixed. I have sent emails and things through their website with zero response for WEEKS!! I know that my starlink bill is past due and I can’t pay it due to not being able to access my account to add my new card info! I have sent them tons of info thinking they would help me get into my account and they NEVER respond. They have ZERO customer service numbers. You can’t contact anyone. So now I have an expensive paperweight once it disconnects. The service is great as long as you never get locked out of your account.

Absolutely THE BEST. I live in a rural area where service, even cellular, is limited. We have tried so many carriers to try and get Television, cellular, internet and/or WiFi and nothing seemed to work. A couple of friends recommended StarLink and I honestly was skeptical. Nothing we tried had worked. Cutting to the chase, StarLink not only worked, it also exceeded expectations. It’s simple to install and is absolutely amazing. I am not sure how many devices I can run but I have had up to 18 at once with no glitch. The website claims that outages are possible in bad weather but we haven’t had a single hiccup. We can run our TVs, computers, and WiFi on this single modem. I highly recommend this. I have used a lot of DSL in the past but this is nothing like the DSL I’m used to. It works as good or better than the best cable service I’ve used. I wouldn’t compare it to fiber at the moment but I am completely satisfied with this service. TRY IT!

Best Decision Ever. My husband and I went back and forth for months on switching to Starlink merely because of the initial price of the hardware. Finally we took the leap of faith, and while the price was quite the gut punch, the quality of our service now most definitely makes up for it. We are a family of 6 as it is my husband and I, plus our four children. We have a tv powering either a fire tv stick, PS4, or PS5 in every room of our home, we pull a ton of data with all of these devices PLUS our phones, and home security cameras. Not once have we dealt with lagging, or constant buffering like we used to with our old service. I very strongly recommend anyone who is thinking about making the switch, to just do it. You will not regret the decision.

Unexpected ease of installation and startup. Few products anymore can be used as advertised. We can all find (post-purchase of course) pages of exceptions, warnings, caveats, carve outs that significantly impact the use of the product, whether its needing parts, not having all the info needed, delays in customer support or the thing just not working as expected. Not so with starlink. I did need a third party part to install the antenna due to my roof situation but even that was explained clearly pre-purchase. Installation was 5th grade level of complexity and accomplished in a few minutes. In fact, there are few, if any, actual words needed, just diagrams. Hang the antenna, plug in three wires and use the starlink app to watch it go. Worked immediately at 400 mbps then shot to nearly 600 after half a day of being awake. PC, tv, wifi all outstanding speeds and reliable connection.

What can I say? (Before Starlink). Elon Musk you have truly made the world happy I know for one thing that you have given me actual hope of having good internet. Relying off of phone lines for internet and only getting downloads speeds of 1-3mbps if even that on one device is truly and disappointment and seeing how the fiber optic internet situation we are having in my are with them going down half my road and stoping and coming from the other side of my road only the the edge causes some serious lag. For example, call of duty games have always been my favorite and now that internet requires faster speeds to function anymore has caused me to ultimately slow down on gaming almost to where I never wanna play anymore. And Starlink has given me enough hope to rekindle my love for gaming. With this I also plan to build my first Pc and join a new community of gamers after being an xbox fan for so long. Thank you and please never stop innovating you are truly the best man on earth with a wonderful purpose in life.

Star Link Best Give and Purchase!!. Star-link is the best gift I have ever received. I am very very satisfied with its service with its customer service. I have nothing bad to say about it. It is one of the things that I would recommend for everybody to ever buy the best purchase in your life would be to purchase Star-link service 100% recommended 100% recommend their customer service I am 100% satisfied I am currently living remotely in another country and I feel like I am more connected to the world than a person that lives in a big city with Star-link service. Stark-Link speaks for it self, and it does not require any publicity to say how good it is it’s product speaks for itself and how good it is and how you are never gonna regret purchasing Star-link service and devices. shout out to customer service representative Mauricio, who was able to help me and provide the best customer service I have ever received in forever.

Amazing!. We have absolutely no cell service near our home. Maybe one occasional bar, but you cannot even get a text to go out. We rely on internet for any communication, streaming, calls, online college classes for our teenager, etc. We are surrounded by mountains also. Starlink provides us with absolutely great service! It’s Super fast, super easy, and very efficient. We have used other carriers in the past and there is really no comparison to Starlink! I was skeptical at first, but everything is so, so easy. We had it sent up and running in like 5 minutes. Not one service provider in our area would service our address except Starlink. And that turned out to be the biggest blessing! If you are hesitant about the equipment or having issues with anything that requires attention it can be done straight from your app. Again, it’s another blessing we didn’t see coming. What are you waiting for? Just take the plunge! You will only regret not doing it sooner. I promise. 💫

Starlink is awesome. We had been on century link for 11 years, plagued with frequent problems and outages. 3 days into our latest outage C/L was unable to provide or even suggest when their service might be restored. We had just heard about Elon Musk responding to the hurricane situation in North Carolina and thought,”let’s give them a try.” Checked online and saw it was approximately 3 weeks delivery. So, I tried checking Home Depot’s web site and saw the kit was in stock at our local store. Took me about an hour to figure out what serial number to enter into the app and done we were back online. Home Depot didn’t have the mounting hardware so I set it on our picnic table about 20 feet from the house. This provides the unobstructed sky view required and with 12 devices needing access, everyone is happy. 3 TV’s , 5 cell phones, 3 laptops and a printer.

You better be an IT person to operate. I’ve had this for a year and It’s great when it works but spotty coverage and a very cryptic app make it maddeningly frustrating to operate. I’ve spent countless hours dealing with the app and SL. Tech support is non existent- literally. No phone no email no chat. You must go many layers deep into the website to create a support ticket and then wait days for a response. Every time I try to log into manage my account I receive an invalid credentials and have to reset my PS. Every single time. I spent half a day trying to reactivate my account when I finally realized they increased the rate from $130 to $150. Nothing in the app or online indicates this. No email or text either to remind users to do this. Even after finally updating to the $150 rate still unsuccessful at getting it online. Deleted and reinstalled the app, set the router to factory settings many times with still no luck. Cable is also not robust enough to survive many connections. What a shame they have completely neglected proper support for this product as there is unfortunately nothing like it.

Starlink internet. Moved to rural western Kentucky, there was literally no service providers in my area. I had been following Starlink for a while but it wasn’t currently available. I provided my email address and requested to be notified when it was available. A little under a year later, received an email saying Starlink was still not available however the “Starlink best effort” package was available (internet service with a slower download speed). I immediately signed up and installed the equipment when I purchased it. Best effort worked well and was able to satisfy our need for an ISP with no complaints. Approximately 5 months later, we received notice our service was being upgraded to regular Starlink with the normal speeds. I’m able to stream television shows, internet radio , and online gaming with no noticeable difference in speed.

So flipping good!. I was using T-Mobile Internet and it was decent but because I work from home and an avid online gamer I like to have a stable connection and not only was T-Mobile rarely stable it also had a hard time having multiple devices running at the same time online. As soon as I connected my Starlink and ran the test it was automatically better that what I usually have and the biggest difference is actually having stable upload speed the Starlink has been averaging 9-15+ upload mbps to T-Mobile only usually having 4 and below and trust me IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE, I can play games online and do my remote job while being in a meeting and streaming on my tablet. DEFINITELY WORHT IT!!!!!!

Phenomenally game changing. Starlink has been an absolute game-changer for me. Living in a rural area, I’d struggled with sluggish, unreliable internet for years—until Elon Musk’s satellite service came along. The setup was a breeze; the sleek dish practically installs itself with the app guiding you every step of the way. Once it’s up, the speeds are mind-blowing—often hitting over 150 Mbps, which I’d only dreamed of before. Streaming 4K movies, video calls, and gaming are now seamless, with latency low enough to keep everything smooth. What I love most is the reliability. No more dropped connections during storms or peak hours. It’s like having city-grade internet in the middle of nowhere. The fact that it’s portable is a bonus—I’ve taken it camping and stayed connected without a hitch. Sure, the upfront cost stings a bit, but for the performance and freedom it delivers, it’s worth every penny. Starlink isn’t just internet; it’s a lifeline to the modern world. Highly recommend it to anyone tired of being left behind by traditional providers!

So impressed. I had to move to finish school and the only viable property I could rent to put my camper did not have cable internet available. The signal and cost of using something like cellular internet made that not viable. So I thought I’d try starlink but was skeptical. It’s 100% exceeded my expectations in every way. The speeds I get are just under what I got for non-fiber link cable but most impressively the latency is almost identical and even less than some of the cable internet I’ve had. I thought I wouldn’t be able to play online while using it but it’s not the case. It’s competitively responsive and a few days in I’ve had no cutouts. I’m in the middle of a snow storm currently and it’s not hampered it at all. I haven’t even had to clean it off it just automatically started heating itself and melts the snow off. Also setting it up was stupid easy. Just secured the dish on the roof and plugged it in, done. It literally turns itself to get the best signal. This is technically the review for the app lol which is also very user formerly and easy to use. You can control the dish from it without ever having to go up to your unit. Overall I 1000% recommend for anyone. It’s so good that it’s honestly worth considering over any internet short of fiber connected cable. At 120 a month for unlimited service, for residential, it’s well worth the money.

Thank you!. We moved from the city back in July and our internet provider was not giving us any access during peak hours and certainly not in prime time. We purchased the standard Starlink just after Christmas and I ordered a pipe adapter and installed the unit on top of our roof on the same pipe the previous dish had been mounted on. Aimed the unit to the North. The setup was so easy. Ran the cable down and back through the same way the previous cable was installed. Hooked the router and the power cord. Then downloaded the app and created an account and followed the steps and we had everything working in no time. Instantly noticed the difference. The television in the kitchen looked crisp and the speed was so much faster. Honestly, with our previous provider you would have to watch TV in the early morning hours and it would still have issues. With Starlink we watch what we want when we want. Haven’t noticed Starlink ever notifying me that it is searching for a signal. We watched the Super Bowl and it preformed perfectly in the most prime time spot of the year! So happy with Starlink in Goldendale, Washington

Working wonderfully!. We were a bit hesitant based on some reviews, but we have had absolutely no issues. Thankfully we have a pretty wide view of the sky with no obstructions. However we have a 4000 sq ft main living space and have our main router and one mesh. We stream, game, and have many WiFi connections - zero issues. We recently purchased a 2nd mesh to get a better signal in our garage which has a small entertainment area above. The WiFi reaches but not a steady connection. Probably another 1500 sq foot space. We had no other internet options at the time of our home being built, but honestly if we had the chance to with at this point, we wouldn’t! The most difficult part was the install on the roof but the app tells you exactly what to do and how to position. Still a bit tedious. Just plan to install during the day with no elements. We would absolutely recommend

Starlink. We bought our Starlink unit and haven’t looked back since. We lived out in the country so the only internet service that was provided was slow, spotty, and capped out at slow speeds. Starlink changed all that and gave my wife the capability to have reliable internet she could count on to work from home with and allowed me the luxury of being able to game from time to time. Set-Up was really easy (I went overboard with how I personally routed measures I took to protect the cable but that was 100% on me). The app makes it easy to keep track of things and gage internet speeds. I find it really convenient that you can take the unit wherever you go and can temp set it up in minutes. And you can’t really argue the cool factor with having one. In the early days the service was a little lacking but now I don’t have a single bad thing to say about it. Our family knows it can count on Starlink and we will never go anywhere else for our internet needs.

Definitely Outstanding Gamer Entertainment. I had long awaited a reliable internet source in my area. . . Once StarLink was available, I happily jumped at the opportunity and it didn’t disappoint. Working remote and being an avid gamer, I needed reliability and I was not disappointed with StarLink! Then when I moved recently, I was concerned with the lapse in internet service given I work remote. . . But there was no reason to be concerned, with StarLink, a simple address update and you can set your system up and be back online if services are available in your new area. . . No waiting for a service call for internet hookup! Having personally used StarLink for both work and recreation, I would definitely recommend to others.

“Micro tornado”. Our neighborhood, perhaps a five mile area, was impacted by an isolated, of what many in the neighborhood called a micro tornado. 30 electric poles were destroyed, trees and power lines became intertwined, and people’s property was heavily impacted. Those who drove down our one way street were trapped and those who lived on our one way street could not return home. I hosted several strangers in our garage until the streets were opened and there was no way to communicate with the outside world. Once our generator was powered on, we could get electricity to Starlink which helped us communicate with the entire neighborhood to give them updates. Starlink is a game changer. I am writing this from our other house that has ZERO cell service, by once again, Starlink. It continues to enable our family us to communicate with the outside world where for school, work, or entertainment. I could go on and on about the way Starlink has impacted our lives, but I’ll save that for the next storm. Thanks team Starlink. Nicholas B.

Best thing. I couldn’t ask for a better internet provider we never get any trouble, like you do from other providers when you constantly get no reception. Couldn’t be any happier. Thanks Starlink 😊😊

App needs a toggle to turn off wifi. App works fine but would be good to have a toggle to turn the internet on and off to help parents control internet usage for kids

Can’t Wait!. Starlink may be on the more pricey end of Internet Providers, however I’m currently paying the same amount for maximum 15mbps download. Looking forward to the release!

Starlink review. Overwhelmed with joy at the competence of the starlink. Having gone almost 5 months without internet and no resolution in site with our previous provider, I was at my witts end. A friend recommended this device and company and we have not looked back, everyone is happy again. And thats the biggest payoff for me. I would highly recommend this company and its products to anyone. Thanks starlink

Rural internet. Starlink has been a game changer for us here in rural Queensland. We have tried other connection options but they were unsatisfactory to say the least. We can now so all the usual things that city dwellers take for granted. Well done Starlink.

Best internet ever. I have spent years looking for great internet that is straight forward and with great customer service and technology well done SpaceX .

Was very useful now next to useless (fixed). The App is what is to be reviewed Here. It was reasonably useful for me doing Starlink insalls but recently it took away the ability to use ethernet adapters to connect to the dish. This makes it useless for High performance kits that don’t come with routers. Edit : This has been fixed. Not listed in app changes.

4 days no internet — no customers support. Firstly the user experience is terrible when it comes to finding customer support; it’s like they don’t—want—you—to—find—it, you have to press the tiny thumbs down button at the very bottom after going through 3-4 actions before that. The internet dropped out suddenly and after 4 days of waiting, the only response I’ve had was an automated generic message, there is no way to speak to a real person or call them, pretty rich considering the price point of this internet service and equipment is 4-5 times more expensive than other internet providers. On a positive note, when the internet is working, the download speed is really good. Unfortunately it’s not so good that you forget about the lack of customer service — and; internet speed is only a positive if you actually have an internet connection.

Awesome. I live out in the country and this is the best thing since sliced bread. The system works great. Have very very minimal outages if any would recommend Starlink to anybody.

Brilliant App. This app is simply brilliant. It provides transparent honest and accurate information at every stage of setup and operation. The service itself cannot be faulted. For years, both in the US and Australia, we have had to live with BS telco double speak- finally we have a service that actually delivers.

Game changer. Were I live best speed I could get from NBN was about 20 mbps and even then that was late at night only!! So Starlink has been a game changer literally for me as I video game a lot and the difference is night and day

Fast and reliable. I switched to Starlink because I was frustrated with customer no service from Telstra. I’ve had 1 contact with Starlink tech support and it was excellent. Very happy all round.

Starlink. Just received mine yesterday. I was surprised at how easy it was to set up. I was online within minutes & have a very strong connection. I can do anything, stream, download, ring & text. Thank you Elon.

Down under. The greatest service available

Starlink changed our lives. We struggled for years with Telstra. It was so stressful. We've had Starlink for years now and it's changed our lives. We never have to ring them it's just great service and product

Love it. Only thing missing from the app is the ability to turn off or put restrictions on individual devices connected via wifi. Please include this feature.

NBN - No thanks!. Best decision I ever made was to dump that useless, unreliable, pathetically slow, disgusting customer service NBN rubbish and move to Starlink. I’ve Never had an outage in 3 years and have consistent speeds of more than 250 MB/S. Awesome! Love it - NEVER GOING BACK!

Block devices. Awesome service. Awesome app. Can I suggest that you allow the account holder to block devices connected to the network. At the moment if users want to block devices they have to buy a third party router because the starlink router/app doesn’t have the ability to block devices connected to the network. Would be good if we could do it on the starlink app. Thanks

Terry. Cannot remember a better service product Everything has been very professional. The app is the best constructed I’ve ever used. I hope this continues in the future Well done Starlink !!

Very impressed. Living rural we have been able to watch streaming services. Run our security system and cameras. Highly recommend.

My comparison. Telstra has been providing NBN to the node connectivity for the last ten years. The connection was very stable, however the speed was pathetic. (17,2.6). Starlink out of the box with out trying to get optimum links, just placed it in the back yard sort of Southern direction, and my first speed test was 254, 27 Getting my laptop and phones connected was a breeze. I will be smiling when I hand my router back…..

Stop redirected me to the incorrect my default isn't safari. This is actually draining my battery because it doesn't stop spinning it's like these something operating but there isn't any connections at all And also give users the option to remove a former local or other connection from or account because it is just showing up with a spinning wheel and will not stop and this is draining my battery and whatever else it is doing I don't even know if I can choose to click on cancel my subscription without ending my subscription because it is showing up as inactive because your tech support people did this because of issues that where happening with my subscription Stop or add the opinions for users to choose the web browser that we have setup as our default web browser I am sick of my web browser being redirected to safari when this isn't my default web browser to be honest I really don't trust safari because it literally operates like a hidden web browser and if our setup is set to private that is the opinions that is chosen not redirecting our default web browser to non private web browser link this even goes against the privacy policies and the setup on our phones

No scheduled update option. I found the app absolutely amazing. The only frustrating part for me is lack of any option to let the app update Starlink software within a certain hours (I.e. after midnight when there is no active user). At the moment, software update notifications pop up randomly and I have to click to have the updates, losing a couple of minutes of internet access. It would be really helpful in my opinion, to have this option available to set automatic update time.. allowing the system to update on its own.. similar to countless other apps and programs.

My starlink in remote South Australia. It’s a great service, I live remotely in South Australia and Starlink is an choice, it’s by far the best internet supplier I have ever used, the service is fast, easy to set up and delivers a very consistent product in all types of weather conditions, living remotely can be difficult at times, but on my down times when I’m able to relax, Starlink makes it perfect

Can’t wait for my dish!. So only 3 stars for now as I wait for my dish to arrive. All the pictures of the dish show it pointing to the sky, so that’s how I thought you had to do the obstruction scan. A bit more clarity around what angle to hold your phone. Also, how can you stand still and do a 360 degree scan, a bit more clarity here also. Maybe stand in one spot and do a slow “pirouette”? Once I get my dish setup and I can use the app fully, I’ll revisit my review.

Fantastic.. Had another carrier. Was terrible. Ordered Starlink. Arrived within 5 days. And had it out of the box and set up in 10 minutes and been working like a dream ever since. Can’t recommend it enough. Brilliant.

Starlink for regional WA. I can’t praise this service enough. Super fast delivery, super simple setup and connection, took about 20 minutes, and incredible speeds for where we are (200+ d/l consistent no matter the weather) in regional Australia. We’re a big family of 6 Netflix streamers and 4 daily MMO gamers and there hasn’t been a single time where latency or bandwidth has been an issue. Well worth the money and actually very reasonably priced in comparison to FTTN. 10/10 Elon you CHAMPION!

Absolute saviour. We had trouble getting any service at all.. no ADSL, NBN or NBN wireless would work for us. A friend suggested Starlink and we haven’t looked back.. set up was simple and it hasn’t skipped a beat in nearly 2 years. Just love it

Travelling Aussie … On The Big Lap ... Starlink has been fabulous, allowed us the freedom to roam this huge southern land. Work, news, entertainment, social Media at your fingertips, when you choose to connect. System has been reliable and 100% so far , cannot fault it … go Elon !

Outstanding. 2 years in and Runs absolute rings around any other forms of internet supply available in Aus and is 100% hassle free, unlike other telco’s in Aus! Will be ordering another setup for motorhome, and a mini for work truck

Great app for the starlink service. Great app Before you buy the starlink hardware , use this app to point in the sky to make sure you have no obstructions. Once you have the hardware Use this app to setup starlink it takes not even 5 minutes to get connected

Satisfied customer. If your internet is unstable or slow I highly recommend Starlink if you’ve got an unobstructed view from your roof. Worth every dollar

Ultimate internet reliability and quality. NBN was such a disappointment for our home internet but now we’ve connected Starlink we have an internet speed and reliability that l never believed was possible. Superb outcome for our country homes internet needs backed by a simple installation process and ample support from the Starlink team. Thank you.

Covered in Australia. Starlink would have to be the best service by far in Australia out side of any city yes it is a bit expensive but to have a service from anywhere is unthinkable for Australia until now Thank goodness for Elon musk for his contribution to humanity 5 stars

Do not use starlink. Paid hundreds of dollars to get starlink attached to my rooftop after 3 months it stopped working I repeatedly sent them messages to call me but after two weeks of having no internet to run my business I had to employ another company to supply me with internet in the third week they finally contacted me but it was too late threw my money in the bin these people are not interested in supplying or honouring any equipment under warranty they simply don’t call you back too busy with American space project to bother with Australians that have paid upfront for satellite internet There is no after sales service I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE I GOT RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!

Better than the rest. With other wired and wireless networks they always seem to have outages when you really want the service to be running. So far not one drop and I can link every device and still have high speed internet connection

We are remote and internet is fantastic. We had nbn satellite for years and it was rubbish. Starlink has made our internet connection so much better

Faster then my NBN and 5G mobile router. As the title, starlink is so far faster and stabler then my NBN and 5G mobile router, the speed make every devices in the house works like charm

3plus3 adventures. We have been travelling remote Australia for over three years now and two of them with starlink it has been reliable and very useful for work and kids schooling /entertainment it also is piece of mind knowing that we can call for assistance from any location 🤙🏽

Finally made the jump.. Goodbye Telstra, after my internet dropped out on 14th/September/2024 I was updated on 17th/September/2024 that the estimated fix wouldn’t be until 19th/March/2025. Telstra didn’t even contact us to cancel plan and we’re going to continue charging until it was fixed, getting it cancelled was very difficult and still fighting to get the unused month refunded. Drove to the local shops, bought a new Starlink kit, jumped online when I got home (hot spotting my Optus phone) signed up to Starlink, then walked outside with a ladder, plonked it on the roof temporarily, powered it on, boom, internet. Hassle free setup, amazing hardware, amazing app with full router control without the need for connecting via a webpage, shows all connected devices that you can rename for ease of identifying, all their information, how much data they are using or have used in the last while and the ability to pause any devices connected. I was a little hesitant, the price was roughly 50% more than my 5G home wifi plan but honestly, FK Telstra, I’d rather send Elon my money and speed testing at the same speeds as 5G. Buy Starlink. End rant.

Fast speed short range.. The speed of the internet connection is great, however the WIFI range is poor. I have a main router and a mesh router in my network and it still doesn’t cover the area of my small house.

This review is about the app, not the service. I don't understand why people are using these app reviews to voice their opinion about an internet service they don't even have or find too expensive. There are better places to do that. This app is functional and serves multiple purposes. It guides you through the process of finding the optimal spot for your Starlink dish, it guides you through the (simple) setup process, and it provides you with a way to monitor your equipment and connection. It does so in a stable, consistent and userfriendly manner. So far so good. One thing I would like to see is actual push notifications for service updates. A few days ago I had an in-app message announcing intermittent service later that day. As a fairly new user I open the app quite regularly, but it would be good to see this kind of announcement as a notification. I also want them to enhance the configurability of the router, which is done through this app but is very basic. Some additional features such as DHCP range setup and IP reservations would not go amiss.

So much better than Telstra. The speed we are getting in rural Victoria is amazing. Have told everyone they should change.

Awesome in the country. Starlink has completely changed our internet experience for the better. We are about 6km outside a regional holiday town and we have struggled with 4GX wireless broadband since it’s been available. In summer, when the tourists arrive it was completely worthless and there was no way we could even stream a movie, let alone do a video call. That has all changed with Starlink and now it’s like we have wired internet in town. Could not be happier with the experience. Highly recommend. But make sure you have a completely clear view of the sky. Tree canopy degrade the service quite a bit.

Starlink. Works every time most places I go. The best is I can turn off the service at will until I need it again.

Very Happy.. We live in a rural area and found NBN wireless was just not doing it for us. We’ve now had Starlink for 12 months and extremely happy with regular 250 MBPS connection there’s no other wireless system out there that can match it. We are now looking at a 2nd unit for our caravan. Thanks Starlink keep up the good work

Great app. Everything on this app works well for me. My only request is could you on your next update allow us to edit all our network device names connected to the Starlink router? It is annoying to see the IP addresses but unknown device next to it.

Star Link. So easy to set up and use. Bit more expensive than other providers but it is worth it for excellent coverage.

Great. Love Starlink and the app works well, but would love it to be easier to click to stow as we are travelling and our Starlink gets stowed every couple of days when we move on.

Remote Station work around Australia. Starlink has been amazing l travel/work remote Australia and can contact anyone anytime , anywhere.. (phone calls) emergency calls.. Highlights streaming tv shows, video calls/ phone calls nationally, all computer downloads/ emails… etc Plan Mobile Roaming

It’s the best. We have had little to no problems since the beginning, the beta the launch. We live off the grid and remote and have moved locations in Canada and still have had no issues with the equipment or customer service which I gota say has been top notch. If this is my option for out in the middle of nowhere I will take it, it’s better than I had in town. Best regards, Mr. Hutchison

Piece of crap. Ordered Starlink from a remote location. It asked if I wanted to se that location for service I said yes. Great, ordered it, it arrived, took it to my location, install went well until I got an error message that I was outside the registered location. And it doesn’t work. Checked where it thought I should be and it’s giving a location fifty kn away and refuses to log my actual location. Bought the portability option for another $30 CDN a month, Now the dish says it has no power. Even though ot does. Worst of all when I click the thumbs down icon in the app to get more support the poorly designed app crashes entirely. No way to actually call Starlink and talk to a human or even a chat-bot. So far I am completely unimpressed.

Incredible. Awesome speed.

Starlink. We live out of town and had a different internet provider. The service was spotty at best. You couldn’t have two devices streaming at once. For example, I may be watching Netflix and my son would try to play his Xbox. Both kept freezing up. Now that we have Star-link we can have both going and more flawlessly…I highly recommend Star-link to anyone and every one that wants to have the very best internet service on the market today; as far as I am concerned.

Starlink is worth it!. Love Starlink!! Have it for work and home, thank you for amazing service 🙏🏻

I love star link. Elon knows how to make things

God send. This service is great for many reasons mostly it is Starlink or dialup. Thank you Elon. Next hopefully we can get cell service also

Life changing and saving options. Unfortunately, where I live there is no cell phone service. There’s no Internet service and I’m not paying $150 to have a big ugly TV satellite that only does TV. And then half the time doesn’t work because it’s got ice or it’s foggy or somebody farted near it, and you lose signal. There is no better option than having Starlink. If it wasn’t for Starlink, I couldn’t dial 911 for an ambulance which I’ve had to do on multiple occasions. I would not be able to make phone calls to my children and I wouldn’t be able to run, 15 or 16 devices all at the same time. Whatever you got going on there Starlink is the most amazing option available! I don’t know what I do without it!

Support services is not available all the time. I sold the Starlink device to a buyer who works where needed satellite internet. I tried many times to transfer him the account unsuccessfully. The support service hasn’t responded my messages for days. Unless you go to Mars, you don’t need a service like this.

Joe. This is life changing.

The best internet truly unlimited. I live in the far reaches of the North before Starlink my internet was horrible bills were hundred of dollars only got one day full speed now since the coming of Starlink I’m free to surf and stream without worry it always works and is always great thank you Starlink your my hero’s

As a satellite ground terminal installer I am impressed. I install ancient AF satellite ground terminals for work, and OMG is this a dream. It’s self acquisition is sooo 2021 (in a good way) this is the future of satcomm!! Also, a lot of the older people or less tech savvy people in my rural community are having anxiety installing this when it comes (even though it should be easy) but I’ve been doing some free work for y’all (jk volunteering) and helping them out with my child drawings of set-up diagrams and for the people who still need help I’ll give up a weekend and just install it for them because our current satcomm internet in our area is sooo slow and expensive for the sub-par service they provide. Excited about high speed coming to the Leeds and Thousand Islands!! You will probably save our job and are helping our kids to educate themselves from home during these Covid times while the govt has not stepped up.

Price. Would be great if Starlink was more affordable thanks

Looking Forward. Linking into Model Y named “Skynet”?

Intermittent Access. Service was good for about a month and now the internet is intermittent. Very difficult to stream or have a video conference. Occasionally you go without internet for hours and have to unplug everything to reset and hope it starts working again. Customer service is terrible. Why pay $140 CAD a month for such terrible service. I only hope it gets better.

👍. Love it

5 Star Options. The app has great metrics and data anyone can follow

Amazing. Changed our lives

Thank you. Had our system go down. After a few attempts to fix ourselves. I end up contacting support. Thou it was a little frustrating at first to get through to an actual person, after that it was the best experience. They credited my account for the interruption and had a new unit sent right away. It did take about five days to arrive after I was able to supply the correct address. After mounting the unit it was only minutes to get connected. The whole experience was awesome and I have told so many people about the great service. Thanks again and merry Christmas.

New Age Connections. Expanding neural network connectivity to global possibilities, thanks!!

STARLINK. Best customer service and Coverage i have ever had in no cell service zones. 2 years of a great experience. Thank you

Changed my life. This app changed my life, since downloading I’ve become a 3x Olympic gold medalist, defeated 5 chess grandmasters and now bench the equivalent mass of a 60 Starlink payload. I can stream the Joe Rogan Elon interview from my backyard, or the top of Mt. Everest and the ISS just emailed me to come by and show them the aliens. Absolute Game Changer.

Excellent app. No nonsense app, works great!

Anywhere. Always with me wether I’m on the road traveling, or coasting along a river. I’m always in touch with civilization.

Riverside Starlink. This has to be the best invention since the making of the wheel. I have had two others for cell and internet service. No comparison. Thank you Mr E Musk.

Response. Nothing any better Thank you.

Great internet if you can afford. This is an amazing option for people living in rural areas it has very high speeds in comparison to other rural competitors the only downfall is the high cost

Honest Review. StarLink is amazing. The app is very easy to read, comfortable for all ages visually to the eyes and not overwhelming. Shows live feed of whats going on. Absolutely the best internet I’ve had overall experience and performance. The app easily syncs to all my devices so I know what’s going on. Simple to the point. Same cost each month (For the internet itself) They even give you a heads up before your payment withdrawal. Love it seriously. 5/5 [From BC Canada]

Good internet. Extremely easy set up can do it all yourself

Connect. Starlink

Owner. This system from Starlink I will admit I was a bit intimidated as I’m not that tech savvy , had impressed me to the moon and back my download speeds are double what the only other provider to my area boasts , and the same with the upload it’s the best service for your money that your money can buy it’s comparably very affordable when the alternative is slow, lags and don’t get me started about power outages with Starlink I can run it from a twelve volt battery with an inverter , so in short if you live outside the city in a total area just get Starlink it practically set itself up all I had to do was point it up and turn it around it did the rest including updating itself ,,,,, best system I’ve ever used now lets see how it handles the snow which I’m sure it will do just fine

Easy to use and read. Easy to use and read, just sucks that we have to pay talk to a real person cause the bots be useless most of the time.

Reliable. Awesome product … using Starlink now fir 3 years Very happy no issues

Awesome. Awesome

So good.. Starlink has changed the gaming scene for me and now streaming videos is very fast and quick. Worth every dollar spent

Set up of new unit. My husband and I are elderly and are having great difficulty setting up our new Starlink’s dish (purchased Black Friday from Best Buy in Mission Texas) …we seriously require someone to “CALL “ us to assist in completing the set up… you have already taken my money immediately out of my account BUT no one seems to want to help us complete the set up!! We are very disappointed no one is willing to assist…we require a phone call for help!! PLEASE!!

Hard to beat!. If your in the market for relatability then Starlink is it. Worth the extra cost even just for entertainment.

Superior internet and customer support. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Speed is excellent, setup was the easiest thing ever and customer service is second to none. Every other service provider should be nervous and learn. Thank you Elon

Reliable. Star link is by far the best internet service for me living in rural Ontario Canada. In three years have had really no issues that were not resolved very quickly. Outstanding service.

Great service - Poor pricing structure. Like I said, great service but there is no reason that the marine plan should be 10 times the price of the RV plan. Same satellites same hardware.

Nice Update!!. V3 Looks much better! Would however like to see this application optimized for iPad.

Robust internet for all y’all RVers out there!. This is the most reliable way to stay connected. Super fast with affordable price. I saw people complaining saying “losing connection every 7 minutes for no reason” well. I want to set the record straight by saying that is a LIE! It only happens when you didn’t position your antenna according to the instructions. There’s too much obstruction very close to your antenna and it doesn’t get a clear view of the northern sky.

Excellent!!. I live in a remote area and have tried 3 other options for service, I have never been able to stream reliably until starlink. By far the best and worth every bit of the cost!

I got rid of my high speed home internet provider. Why did I switch to Starlink for my home internet? Last year I subscribed to Starlink RV for our camping activities. I found it easy to use and powerful. At half the cost and all the speed it was an easy decision. Konrad P

Starlink. So happy with Starlink haven’t had any problems and always works very happy .

Top Notch Satellite System. Makes everything so much easier especially living on a remote island…

Amazing!. Such an amazing app to keep track of everything going on with my wifi! 100% recommend StarLink to anyone!

No customer services. Really is difficult to manage issues without being able to speak to a person. That is our only complaint with Starlink

My Starlink Experience. Nothing in the world is in the same league as StarLink

The only OPTION. If you live in rural areas where there is NO internet connection worry no more!!

Starlink mini. We bought the mini for our travels in our RV. I looked for other alternatives for better wifi where cell service was real low. I did the research of starlink and decided In the mini. I ordered it and as soon as it arrived at our home, I unboxed it and took it to the back yard to see how easy it was to set up. So simple!!! The app is easy to use and helps you set up in minutes. I got it set up and the wifi speed is awesome!!! I checked the signal strength and was amazed on how strong it was. I had the satellite set up 25 ft beyond our back door in the backyard, and the signal was still giving me full strength in the center of my home!!! As of this writing, our mini has been everywhere and has not let us down in performance or signal strength!!!!

AGREE. I totally agree with Andrew brown face!!!! This is my second replacement Satellite!!! While the are great about replacing them after much stress dealing with the support back and forth!!! The first time we received the replacement was no problem it connected right away, no problem! We purchased Starlink because we travel and can take it with us! The first time it worked great! The second time not so great! We were out with very poor data service on our cell phone and had a hard time even connecting with support, we had to have our daughter communicate with support! I still cannot connect the replacement Satellite, I am totally frustrated! I am a vey bussy person and don’t have time for all this support texting!!! We need a phone contact to explain exactly what’s happening!!!

Terrible Tech Support. My WIFI has been out for hours. No telephone tech support and no reply to my emails. Paying for service I now do not have!!! I’ve only had the service about 6 months. As an update, I didn’t have service for WEEKS. Didn’t get an answer from Support for WEEKS. I needed a new dish, which they sent without charge, but because I’d had mine installed on top of my roof, it cost $200 to have it changed out and reinstalled. Their response to my complaints was a snarky canned answer. Starlink Support makes Comcast look good! I am very sorry I went with this service. It’s expensive to buy the dish, expensive for the monthly service, which would be OK if Support was good, but as it’s not, that was the icing on the cake. No, I don’t recommend them and I’m now stuck for awhile since I’ve invested so much. I would give them ZERO stars if possible.

I had my doubts…. I have been in technology for over 30 years and have always ‘known’ that cabled is faster and more reliable than wireless. Until now. Oh my gosh! This is fast! I have NOT seen any buffering even through the heavy rain we are experiencing right now. We have higher download and upload speeds than we ever experienced with the local cable company (even though we were paying for speeds we never received). Goodbye Astound, oops, am I aloud to mention their name… Anyway, GREAT experience so far. Easy and quick installation, configuration, fantastic equipment, can’t think of enough good things to say. Good work, Starlink!

Impressed!. We moved out into the country and never considered what internet options we would have. Turns out there were very few. The best service we’ve had available for the past 12 years was capable of 5Mb/s download and maybe 0.2Mbs upload. With 2 teenagers and 2 adults in a house, let’s just say it’s been a miserable 12 years. I received my Starlink Gen 3 kit and had it installed in just a couple of hours. First Speedtest I did showed 230Mb/s down, 35 Mb/s up, and 19ms Ping. I’ve had it installed for a few days now and it’s been flawless. I wish I would’ve tried this sooner. Consistently getting 100+ download and 30+ upload. Thanks Starlink!!

Hands-down amazing. So, I live in an area in which my signal strength isn’t the greatest, so setting up the app would’ve been impossible without the simple feature in which it supplies WiFi through the setup phase! I’ve had Starlink for two weeks now, and I’m beside myself and the quality in which the satellite WiFi is. I tend to forget I’m using an antenna while gaming. There’s been no lag, or frame drops while gaming online, which has been truly amazing for me and the main reason in which I invested into Starlink. Again, hands down the best satellite WiFi I’ve had the pleasure of having. Not to mean the easy of use the app achieves. Worth every penny

Router unreachable issue. I had an issue with the gen 3 router for Starlink Roam. In the app it said “router unreachable”, meaning I had no idea if some stranger connected to my WiFi (which is password protected but you never know). Customer support is powered by Grok which initially decided that I need a new router for free. Upon receiving it, the issue restarted after a short period of time. I contacted support (Grok) again and I spent more than 3 hours following Grok’s instructions (restarting the router multiple times, checking connection cables, checking the lights etc.). In the end, as nothing else worked, Grok decided that I need to delete and reinstall Starlink app, which was ultimately the issue. Hardware was never the issue. Not sure why I had to spend hours following instructions from this ai engine, when the issue was just the app. Disappointing…

No support. App has diagnostic info that is useless. “Troubleshooting” always points to the consumer as the problem when it appears from my research that at least half problems are related to the product. The only way to contact the company is via the app or email but typically no response or some excuse as to why they can’t get to your problem any time soon. If I sound bitter it is because I waited more than a year for the equipment, spent $700 for it then got 6 months of service before it quit working and with the $110 a month service charge I spent $200+ a month for service. If they would spend less time trolling the internet attacking anyone who complains and more time on customer service they might have a good product but for now it is a waste of money.

So impressive. Just bought a new house and there is no hardwired cable TV or Internet. This was in Florida near Saint Augustine in Palm Coast. The prior owners were using Verizon air through the cell phone towers and were quite happy with it. When I looked online, it appeared that Verizon air would be faster than Starlink. When we went to the Verizon store, they did not have any more capacity so I went ahead and bought Starlink. I can’t tell you how much faster this is then any other Internet I’ve ever had and I am assume it will only get better, the initial cost is quite high, but to have the consistency of high speed makes it all worth it. I highly recommend Starlink to anybody needing high-speed Internet.

Very pleased!. Where we live in rural northwest Louisiana cell coverage is spotty at best, no dsl/cable available so satellite was our only choice. We tried the other satellite provider and was disappointed, since getting Starlink we dropped our satellite tv service and stream everything now! We also reduced our cell package to the minimum because we use SL for our calls, so no more missed calls at home! We typically get speeds of 120mb down and 30mb up with a latency of 25ms, very fast! At times it way faster like later in the evenings, or really early morning. I highly recommend Starlink to anyone living rural suffering like we did for 12 years!

Wow!!. I have to say I am so impressed with my Tesla plaid. It’s far exceeded my expectations and I would say the same with Starlink. I took my mother, father, wife, and dogs on a trip in my motorhome. Then Internet actually worked while I was driving and worked in such a remote area that you couldn’t even use cell service. I was able to use my phone through the Starlink satellite system. It really is one of a kind in my opinion, the only thing that was a bummer we did some online gaming and it used the service pretty quickly on the $250 service plan only for three days and I went over my usage and went to more of a throttle usage but it still worked. I really have no complaints.

Starlink Home Internet. Truly one of the best investments I’ve made in my home. Starlink has allowed us to have truly high speed internet in an area where high speed internet isn’t an option. I saw some complaints about customer service, while I would say it is a little more challenging than other customer service options. Starlinks customer is responsive and willing to help work through any issues you have. I would highly recommend Starlink to anyone regardless of whether or not you live in an area with high speed internet. We have seen a vary significant increase in speeds in our area. It’s awesome to be involved with a company that is constantly innovating and pushing the limits.

Tis the internet service of the present and future. I have had Starlink since 2021 for my RV. I live in the RV full time and have traveled with Starlink. The service has been outstanding, fast, and unmatched for my current living style. The great thing about the service is that it gets better and better. I have used the service for gaming, movie streaming and surfing the web. Connection is very important to me because I currently attend college full time online and need to trust my internet provider. So far so good. P.s. if I could complain about one thing it would be the increase from $135 to $150 per month. In this economy every dollar is precious.. wish it went back… anyway there it is.

Horrible compass. Horrible company nothing but lies!! every year all they keep saying is sorry will send your order next year sorry will send your order next year and been like that for years!! Im sick or their lies!! Each year is oh sorry next year and raising prices all the time while they keep sending the dishes to people that already have high speed Internet! They don’t even do proper research. Ive had a star in my area for years and they still can’t deliver product. After reading reviews the Internet is slow and customer service is non existent in the event that they do answer they are really rude and unhelpful! Yet somehow they keep making new dishes for 3x the price instead of fulfilling order of ppl who ordered years ago! Cancelling my order and I want nothing to do with them also filing a report with the governing bodies to share my experiments! Their licenses should be revoked immediately!

Perfect. I’m am truly grateful for the opportunity to review this product. I have used it at my mining claim 53 miles away from the closet community. Very remote area in timber covered region at the altitude of 7,162 feet in Central Idaho south of the Salmon River. It always works for texting, chats and occasional cell phone calls using WiFi. Internet connectivity has been as low as 92.6 percentage. This is the best system I’ve ever had the opportunity to use. It keeps me connected to my friends and family. It is the most reliable system I’ve found. Yes, it’s costly but it is worth every penny. I’m completely convinced that the StarLink System and Service are the best in the world.

Starlink roam. We’ve had Starlink roam for a couple of years now and in the past when we weren’t traveling we could just shut it off. Now with the recent update it forces us to put it in standby mode. I think we should be able to be grandfathered in the same as when we originally signed up. It said we could stop at any time and turn it on when we traveled. There was no mention of having to be on standby mode and pay a $5 monthly fee even if we’re not using it. We only go on a RV trip a few times each year. I hope you consider this and give us the option to choose what we want.

Best option where the options are limited. Better than any other satellite and I tried them all. I know a lot of people frown because you do have to pay upfront for the equipment instead of a monthly fee like others. I know some people don’t have the $ but save a little back when you can and buy as soon as you can. It works as good anywhere we have been as the library’s fiber. It’s been great. We play 3 consoles and watch 4 tv with one a 98in. We have 6 cell phones going 24/7. Have had maybe an outage for less than an hour but I don’t remember last one. I have had Starlink for 4 years since u could only buy the portable. Never had an issue I needed to contact anyone about

Fantastic. Thank you Starlink. Your internet is so great, so fast out here in rural Florida, we are finally able to ditch our expensive satellite TV and begin streaming all our tv programming, saving us over 50% of what we were paying. With our old dsl from a long time phone carrier, we could just barely surf the net with only one user at a time ,,,with numerous outages ever few hours and was just so frustrating. Now we are running multiple tvs, several tablets as well as cell phones with out a single hiccup and never a drop in service. Thank you Starlink, you have so greatly improved our lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

AWESOME SERVICE. I had zero options except country internet. Being a gamer and streaming shows and movies, I needed better. I decided to get starlink when it was on sale, ohhh what a difference it made!! We were paying 110 a month for maybe 20mps gaming was horrible most of the time, tv and movies would constantly buffer. Now with Starlink, (just 10 more a month) I can game without issues as long as I want, and watch tv and movies or videos at the same time! I can have multiple systems and phones, security cams etc without hiccups. I’m so happy I decided to give this a try! Best money spent! Can’t say enough about how happy we are with Starlink!!

Move from City to Country. I saw an ad for a reduced price Starlink plan of 85$ a month and discounted Starlink equipment. I have been wanting to get Starlink for a while, but didn’t want to pay much more than I already was. I was getting set up to move to the country with family. Nothing but farm land out here. When I saw the discount I jumped on it. In the City it worked great. Low latency and high speeds on my security system and games. When I got to the country side the speed is even better. The latency shows good. Games are smooth and consistent unlike my previous provider. My other provider was lagging sometimes non stop. Starlink always shows high speeds. So glad I made the switch and proud to support Starlink and SpaceX on this journey. Thank You Starlink Team!

Starlink. We moved to TEXAS bought a new home. Met our neighbor Kammy and her family and she recommended Starlink . She had a referral and we used it. We were told we both would get a free month. I can’t wait for my free month. I think that’s awesome. Some of our grandkids came over so we thought we’d try out Starlink and see if it would run slow. We had 5 ipads, 3 iPhones, TV running all day and up to 12:00 am. Starlink is amazing we had absolutely no problems. No more spooling😘 We have a-lot of trees so Starlink works great for us. I wish Elon Musk would give Military and Seniors a discount. That would help out so much. A very satisfied customer ! Thank you

If you have good wifi, don’t check the app. I live out in the woods in florida and have the standard dish and router. We get decent wifi here and there, enough to stream seamlessly for good hours of the day. Recently the router has been shutting online and offline back and forth every 15 seconds. Was wondering why, so I consistently checked the app. I recognized that if I don’t check the app for an hour, the wifi works phenomenally. Got my hopes up. I check the app to see what the download speeds are and ping success is looking like. The past hour when I didn’t check the app, near 100% on all pings…but the same minute I checked the app those percentages grounded worse than the 2008 market crash. This has happened twice, it was no coincidence the second time. Wifi is shot for another hour. Do not check the app if your router is doing good, you will fry your system enough where you have to wait longer

Few places are more remote than where I work.. Over the last 11 months I’ve used my Starlink mini in places like Kiska Island, Alaska, Adak Alaska, Point Hope Alaska, St. Paul Island, Alaska and several other very remote locations. It’s amazing to me just how this has changed my work environment. In the past it was very expensive to maintain communications with my family when in many of these locations, now it’s a simple matter of firing up the mini on a portable battery pack, connecting my phone to it via WiFi and FaceTiming my wife……..a very huge leap from our early years of KMI and Ship to shore Radio or the $12/min charges for Inmarsat. Amazing!

Most update rendered the app mostly useless.. I use my own router & wifi AP. I’m not using the Starlink wifi. The older version of the app worked fine with this arrangement, I could view all the settings, statistics, speed & obstruction pages. The first time I used the new version of the app, the app wouldn’t connect to my Starlink. After poking around for a bit I found a ‘remote’ option. Selecting that worked and all was normal. The next day I attempted to use the app and it takes me to a page where the only options are: Order Starlink & Setup Starlink. Thought maybe the app needed to be setup again, I tried the Setup Starlink option. Can’t get past the wifi setup page. It’s looking for the Starlink routers wifi to continue setup. My Starlink is working fine and I can use the Starlink web page to see my Starlink usage and speed, etc, just can’t use the app anymore.

Will not work at all with 3d party routers. When the Starlink Router is connected, the app will let you control a few things. Considering it is all in Beta testing, I really didn’t expect full control yet. But if you have and or need to use a third party router, the app thinks the Dishy is not connected and up and running. Horse Hockey. Some people can play with the settings and get it to work with their personal third-party routers, but it should not be necessary to do that at all. The app should see that it’s connected to the StarLink satellite dish and show you all the appropriate information since it’s coming from the dish itself and not the router. So that is a bad Starlink. If and when they ever fix that issue, the app will be rated five stars. Until then I had to give them three, but I was actually looking at two Stars.

Best Internet I’ve ever had.. I live in the country and have only been able to use local, slow, intermittent internet. Starlink is fast, reliable, and problem free since installed. I installed it myself without any prior experience. Super easy to install, simple and clear instructions, and works minutes after plugging it in. I’ve been using it for 3 months now and it has only NOT worked twice, for only a few minutes due to maintenance or updating. Just a few minutes down for improvements. It’s been worth it for me and the cost is very reasonable for what you get. I recommend Starlink to everyone I talk to about internet service. Thank You!

Gen 3 Standard. Your system works amazing even with a few issues that I have found. Your amounts that you sell for the side of a house the bar on it is only about 6 to 8 inches long which only gives you limited amount of an angle. To lineup Correctly. With that said you do have other options but if you could just extend the bar length out another 6” to 8” inches this would solve many alignment issues or make an adapter that does so. Another idea for an issue fix in cold climates that have heavy snow. You have the heating internally, which is great but the snow where I’m from freezes on top of the unit if it’s not scraped before the freeze. Maybe designed some type of dome cover that way the signal comes in correctly, but still allows snow and ice melt to escape from being trapped on top of the dish itself.

Starlink Keeping It Impersonal. I will throw out the Pros to this first. Rural area, so hardly any service is available. Starlink has put us back in touch with the outside world, with speeds that are amazing. Setup was quick, and we were “surfing” the web, FaceTiming, gaming, etc.. within just a few hours. The product itself is life changing; especially for those in rural areas. The Cons: No plausible way to contact customer service by PHONE! The way that Elon Musk has done their customer support, is the same way guys/girls used to break up in school back in the day. They’d write a note, pass it off for someone else to give to the significant other so they wouldn’t have to PERSONALLY deal with the issue at hand. The inability to contact customer service has a friend of mine extremely frustrated because he ordered the wrong device; he got STANDARD, when he needed STANDARD ACTUATED. He’s simply trying to do a return and get the right device….NOT EVEN CONSIDERING CANCELLING, just wants to get the device setup he needs. But, he’s had to download the Starlink app just to get ahold of support. Sadly, he’s bouncing around in the app trying to figure out how to contact them (HE DOESN’T NEED TO TROUBLESHOOT), but the app keeps redirecting him to different links to troubleshoot. This is all very impersonal; and after people pay the initial $700 to order the item, we’re left in the dirt like a used up wh*re. All we want is to be able to effectively contact customer service, discuss our issues with an individual that can help, and resolve the problem efficiently and effectively.

First Day. Just got it installed and have used it about 24 hours now. Easy install! Had our last internet provider about 15 years and dealt with many outages every day. It was quite common. A one hour tv show would many times have half a dozen outages during the program. Have not had any outages so far with Starlink. No buffering or glitching of video streaming or games. Web browsing has been great. It’s faster than our previous provider too! I streamed four different devices at once to see if anything slowed, buffered, etc. and NO, there were NO issues. All four devices ran perfect! The weather has been great over the past 24 hours so hoping inclement weather doesn’t affect too much although I expect some disruption in really bad weather.

I was paying way too much for local Internet providers. I actually found out about Starlink when I was attempting to have doorbell cameras installed, and I was told that my upload speed was extremely too low, and I attempted to make arrangements with my current at the time Internet provider by purchasing an additional Internet package solely for the security cameras. I did that the Internet was still too slow so when the guy came back out, he was like hey you should get this Internet that they use on both and in the desert and yada yada yada and so I took a chance on it and when I say my Internet is so fast, I have no issues not even in storms. I’m so appreciative and thankful.

Rural customer. We were stuck with no choices for internet (2 choices both $400+ a month for crappy practically unusable metered satellite internet) for 20 years. It was frustrating. Then last year we bought Starlink. Not only are we saving a ton of money, but now service is fast enough that I can work from home (something I could not even consider doing with the other provider) Starlink is the best thing since sliced bread. It’s amazing. I have since referred all of my neighbors and friends. 8 of which have already switched with 7 more switching this month, as well as 3 businesses. I highly recommend

Never could get internet before. We didn’t live but 25 minutes out of a decent size town so nothing crazy, but we could never get internet. Ever time we would call a internet provider whether it be a satellite or the local hard wire they would tell us their network was full. So this internet for me is awesome. Does everything I want and need it too. I don’t do online gaming but does all your normal zoom call, updates, and movies you want. I am not technically advanced in any way and setup was simple and easy. Any accessories I ordered came with everything to do the job except the power tool. Again this is amazing

Rural Florida. For many years of my life, I built high-speed Internet cable TV systems throughout the East Coast of the United States and the Caribbean. After that, I moved on doing satellite TV and rural areas of Florida. That all at years ago and when I moved to a rural section, I had contacts that were still in the satellite Internet TV world. I gave Hughes a try and was not happy with the performance in a month or so of moving. A bunch of my local neighbors told me to try Starlinkand be honest with you the price had 120 bucks to me a little bit hi but the performance is excellent. it still does have some setbacks like rain like satellite does but it doesn’t have the lag issues.

It works, be patient. The system is working better than at first. It says it has to learn and if you move the antenna it can take a couple days to figure it out. It’s still slow. I have a completely unblocked view 360 degrees at the top of a mountain. It works slightly more reliably than the Verizon Home internet (cellular) it replaced. It still can take a minute to load simple pages sometimes. It’s very up and down I guess when there’s a satellite overhead it works well for a couple minutes. I’ve been through the setup a few times and it claims it’s all aligned with a clear view. I read there are better antennas and the base one they send is made to be cheap, not good. I’ll see how it goes but I’m still on the lookout for decent off grid internet service.

Advantages that matter. Having the current setup has gave me an advantage not being connected on the grid using the utility poles. 1) (Not being connected in the grid) Over the period of time I had my Starlink during natural disasters that has caused the utility poles to go down in different areas caused an outage in internet in my county even after the power was connected back it still took around a week for the internet to be connected back for my neighbors causing them to come over and use my connection. 2) (Tested in war torn countries) It has proven that it is a reliable solution even during the conflict overseas to provide services in a war torn nation. If you have a generator in worst case scenario you could have access to internet due to there being no connection to the internet connection that is through utility poles. 3) (Tested in natural disaster) The satellite has worked great during inclement weather conditions such as rain and snow. The satellite has an auto feature to heat the dish during cold weather and a way to preheat for extreme cold conditions.
