amazing sounds and music - so effective. there are a ton of apps out there and i’ve tried a lot of them. this is by far the best. it has a great selection of high quality traditional ‘white noise’ sounds. the music is gorgeous and interesting and uses psychoacoustic research to inform its characteristics. the narrations also use research to inform their content/structure. all around great product.

I love this app. I love the sounds and stories. I use it every single night! I don’t wake up as much during the night and I have gotten so used to it that when I hear it my body knows it’s time to sleep.

Didn’t want this. Cancel it. I didn’t want this and will not pay. Stop charging me

Genius. Amazing app it has truly been a blessing in my life. It is very user friendly. I love how you can combo different sounds with a bedtime story. This has been a game changer for my sleep hygiene.

Weekly fee for sounds that cut in and out on a loop. This app reminds me of the “I’m rich” app that had only one purpose: to see how many people they could get to buy it just because it’s there.

GREAT!!. So many options, all free. You can mix nature sounds with music and a variety of other things. highly recommend, so relaxing.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s sound machine. Just found out about this app because I was looking for an app to replace my trusty old sound machine. This app works amazing and has a tremendous catalog of sounds and stories. It puts me to sleep in minutes. Download it, you’ll love it!!

Misleading payment structure. Only free for 7 days. This should be more clear

Finally sleep…... I’ll gladly pay $60ish dollars a year to finally get quality sleep. The sounds and music are great but it’s the stories, strangely enough, that put me right to sleep. Especially using the “Abbe” voice, I’ve never made it to the end of a story! When I have to get up, I simply start the story again and I’m back to sleep in minutes. Thank you!!!!

Not free. Can only try for 3 days or it cost $99 a year.

Not bad. There are lots of good things about Sound Machine. They have tons of sounds, stories and other helpful ways to relax. There are, however, two issues that need to be addressed. 1)the sound clip loops are too short. They should be at least long enough that your clients don’t notice them repeat. Make them at least 10 minutes in length before you loop to the beginning again. 2) after deleting and then adding back the app, every time i try to scroll through my favorites, the app crashes. So i can only access the few favorites that i can actually see on my screen. Also, please continue to add new content and include visual effects. Mark

Misleading App. When I first downloaded the app, I loved the ability to mix the huge library of sounds and set a timer for them. It really helped me to sleep. Unfortunately, after just a few days I could no longer access my mixes because the app required a subscription to continue. Nowhere did it say this was a subscription only app with only a few day free trial. There is no way I’m paying $60 a year/$9.99 a month/$4.99 a week for this. It’s a shame, because it had a good library and features. The developers need to make it either a one time small fee to buy the app, or offer a free version with limited sound selections.

Can’t figure how to get past the call for a subscription. Can you update the app so we can try it out before needing to subscribe?

Sound mixing for relaxation.. This is a revolutionary app. Allows you to create your own mixes of ambient sounds to use for meditation, sleep, and as an excellent soundtrack to a variety of different activities. I have enjoyed endlessly creating background tracks for my audiobooks, as it really polishes the experience. Library packed with musical clips, nature sounds breath sounds, binaural beats, recordings from deep space, single instrumental tones, and more, in addition to it’s own large library of stories. You control the volume of each sound and save mixes to your own favorites library for easy access including Siri shortcut. No more loud bird sounds or strong thunder, which scare my small dogs, or fake crickets drawing real ones, to ruin my soundscapes. Legitimately could not love this one more.

Beware of Yearly Auto Renew Subscription by Default. My family went to out of town and we forgot the our white noise maker for our baby but had our iPad. I saw this app and notice the free trial but I forgot cancel it. I then get email alert on a +$60.00 charge for yearly subscription. It was my fault to not cancel the subscription in time but it shouldn't be set for a yearly subscription by default. In my opinion this app is a money grab. There our plenty of white noise apps that doesn’t have any subscriptions and are totally free.

Love it. I love this so much, it is so relaxing when you combine lets say a crackling fire plus a downfall of water and a story that’s what I’m doing plus the book Alice underground this sleep sound app is so worth it and you get an amazing experience even without paying even a dime!!!

Immediate Lie-🧟‍♀️♿️. SAYS 7 days free trial in the description. I got the app. Opened it. IT’S THREE DAYS. NOT 7. So. No trial 4 me. Either upd8 yo description OR upd8 the 3 day trial to 7. Or make up a whole new trial period. Nobody’s gonna trust this. Oh, & ummmm… TIMER?!?!?!?! Really?!?!?!?!?! There is NO TIMER. Y’all r idiots. Gr8 content. Crap app.

Short lived enjoyment. I will not pay for a sound machine when there are so many free ones out there. It was nice while it lasted.

$5 per WEEK?!?. This app will bill you $5 PER WEEK. It is literally more expensive than a five pack of licenses for the Microsoft Office software suite.

Scam. Careful about all the stellar reviews they charge 60 a year for this. You’re better off buying an actual sound machine or just using YouTube.

Good app kills ur battery!!. Make sure to have ur phone plugged in using it cause it’ll die before morning! Otherwise the app is a dream come true

Not free. When you download it they don’t tell you it’s only an 8 day trial. Then you have to pay for it. There are several free sound apps out there.

Why. Why do I have to subscribe to a noise app? Dumb.

Why would I pay a subscription for this?. I just need sound to sleep. No where does this say you have to pay. Don’t call it a free app if it’s useless without paying a subscription. Deleting it now. Thanks for keeping me up an extra 30 min unexpectedly to delete this and find another actual free app
