Don’t waste time on this unfair app. From all the readings apps that I use this is by far the worst. Their point system to unlock each chapter is unreliable, and varies depending on what story you’re reading and how far along you are in the book. If for example it took you 25 points to unlock chapter 6 it might take you 77 points to unlock chapter 12. Therefore, not only do they make it very hard to earn any free points, but they switch up how much you will need to unlock chapters for free. So buying their bundles is super expensive and unreliable since they will up the points needed to unlock a chapter on you whenever they please. Truly fraudulent. Save your time and read on other apps. I have no problem buying coins/points/stars in other apps where I know they aren’t trying to cheat me out of more money. This app is a scam.

Lie in advertising and horrible customer service. On google search any stories says you can read “full story to read online for free now”, but you can only read to chapter 9 before being asked to pay to open each chapter. Old bait and switch… Update: they reached out to say they have free reads and bonus coins, etc, but those are hard to get and only a few here and there. One chapter cost 72 coins to open! I would have to wait darn near 2-4 weeks to read a single chapter of the book they baited me into reading. Also, I tried to contact their customer service, and it’s the worst customer service ever. Period. There was no help other than to tell me that I needed to join their Facebook help group.. this was even more of an insult. Of course the group is monitored so nothing gets posted without them seeing it, and they won’t post anything negative. They just keep telling you the same thing as this developer responded to say. ” Hi you can get free bonus to keep read. Ads, check in, and reading challenge. We also have more daily bonus games in our social media. Enjoy.” They have all said almost exactly the same thing…. Do not get sucked into this shady app. If you have to get customers by promising one thing, but only being able to offer something else that is not as good, you’re not a good company. Beware.

Cost inconsistencies for chapters. I’m in the middle of my 2nd book and I’m really enjoying the author’s work. However, my complaint is the high cost to unlock chapters. On other apps, the cost is pretty set with very little cost difference per chapter. But with this app, I’ve experienced an almost 20 cent difference. As you progress with the story, the price increases. It’s expensive to read these books, because you can’t just buy the completed novels. And since the price keeps changing, you can’t accurately determine the amount of coins needed to read the current stories. I get that they’d like you to read many authors, but if it’s going to cost $20 to read a book that would be $8 for something similar in paperback, then I’ll probably just stop reading new books once I complete the 3rd novel of the series I’m on.

So expensive!!!!. I so badly wanted to love this app. At first it was great, there were tons of books to choose from and the writing was great. And then I started actually reading the books. The amount of money you have to spend to read a full book is insane. I bought $50 worth of coins, with a first time bonus. Guess how many books that got me? ONE. That’s ridiculous. The coins to unlock need to be cheaper or there have to be more ways to earn coins or unlock chapters. I would even be interested in a subscription service where you get to read a certain number of books per week or month. But this current model, isn’t sustainable. I can’t afford to spend $50 on a book!

My happy place. I work under very stressful and traumatic conditions and it is recommended that I take care of my mental health. I think they meant that I should seek out psych professionals. But this is my happy place. By losing myself in a good werewolf story, I can shake off the trauma of the day and get a good nights sleep. Although sometimes, it’s hard to stop reading. Some stories draw me in so deep that it’s 3am and I’m still telling myself “just one more chapter.” The daily tasks and bonuses are golden. Thank you for being my happy place.

Big $ for unedited works. So, I know I am a sucker. I start reading the excerpts on some random app, and get interested in the story. I knew this was a pay-by-chapter site, so I purchased $15 worth of coins (1500 plus 150 newbie bonus). I figured for $15 I would get the entire book. Nope. Much to my surprise this morning, the “you need more coins “ yellow bar popped up. I searched, and found that I had 53 more chapters to go. In essence, another $12. For those not great with math, that is $27- FOR A BOOK. Not even a physical one either. I know these writers need money too, but COME ON. The kicker? The story I was reading had a TON of grammatical errors. I had to reread several parts because my brain stopped focusing on the story and started figuring out the correct termage/ spelling/ verb tense, etc. I may try the “free” section, but I honestly think I may just head over to my local thrift store and pick up 27 books for $27. Cheap? Yes. Stupid? No.

It’ll cost you an arm and a leg. I started a GREAT book on this app. It has me hooked. But you have to pay to unlock chapters - which I thought would be reasonable since I buy books all the time. Boy was I wrong. After unlocking SOME of the chapters, I quickly realized that this book would cost me over $100. After a little research, I found that there are pirated books on the app (I’m hoping not all of them). Whoever add some of these books kept the book the same but changed the cover and title and now potentially is making a ton of money off of someone else’s work. Even if the piracy has been addressed and eradicated, a $100 is way too much for a book. I don’t care how into it I was, I’ll never finish it now.

Get better ads on your app!. I love reading from this app but when I try to use the ads to get coins feature, it puts the closing button within an area that I can’t click on so I am never able to close out of the ad and I have to just fully close out of the app. I get that Samsung is different from iPhone but they need to have it work for every phone type. This is just getting ridiculous. It has been happening for the past few days that I can’t close out of the ad after it’s finished or even before it is finished and it’s infuriating. Please design it better or get better ads. I’m most likely not the only one but will be the one to speak my mind on it. If the devs fix it or help me figure out what to do, by all means, I’ll take this down but for now, I needed to say something.

Total Rip off - don’t get sucked in. This app is seriously not worth it. The stories themselves are not worth the money. I found a story I was interested in reading because I got sucked in and being a avid reader, I purchased 4,000 coins for 30 dollars (although I was charged over 44.) that only got me to chapter 64 out of over 200 chapters. If I wanted to get the whole book it would cost me more than 150 dollars for it. I have several College Nursing Textbooks that cost less than that! The story itself wasn’t bad even if it was full of spelling mistakes and I’m disappointed that I can’t read the whole thing, but I’m not shelling out that much money when I can get kindle unlimited for 10 bucks a month and get to read the whole book instead of having to unlock each chapter. It’s a total scam. Don’t waste your money.

They are scamming. Joined AnyStories about four years ago. It was amazing back then. The chapters were reasonable 17-25 coins and the authors were amazing. However, here within the last year they have NOT been able to bring in new talent and the prices have gone through the roof 50-70 coins per chapter. The daily bonuses were something you could use to help offset some of the price and now they have taken that that to a number so low 3-10 coins that it does not help. The developers have started to push the readers to WhatsApp with the claims they were giving out better bonuses only for them to ask all their group members to give out positive reviews on book that they have only read a single chapter on. All those sudden reviews with weird codes at the beginning are nothing more than desperate readers trying to gain enough coins to read a single chapter. Feels very scam-ish at this point. I’ll complete my yearly subscription and I’m done!!!

Too expensive. I’ve been using this app for a while now and I must say they do have some good books but it’s too expensive. I can buy a whole 1000 or more of coin and it takes a couple chapters. I once finished a whole entire book buying to unlock the chapters but after a while I went back to reread the book it was locked again which I don’t understand why since I already paid to unlock all the chapters. I find myself going back to Wattpad and a couple of other platforms that are less expensive. Now it’s taking me almost 50 bucks to finish an entire book . I just hope you guys can work out something more affordable for us. I would like to continue reading but for it’s just too expensive.

To expensive to read the stories. You are constantly prompted to spend more money to unlock the next chapters. After spending $25 on a story I was enjoying, I was going to have to spend another $30 to progress. What a racket. The story was good but it didn’t appear to be reviewed by an editor. There are lots of mistakes. That’s not a big deal, I can still enjoy a story with errors, but for the money that expected to be shelled out to finish a story, the writing needs to be perfect. I deleted the app because I don’t like to feel like I am being scammed. If you have money to burn and don’t mind paying $80+ on one story then this is the app for you. Before a developer gets on and tells me I can earn bonus coins, I have been wasting quite a bit of time to earn these bonus coins. It’s not worth it.

Astronomical Prices and a Deceptive Business Model. This app requires you to pay astronomical prices for books, many of which are incomplete. I started reading a book with introductory free coins. I was interested in it so I decided to purchase a large amount of coins for $50. I thought with that much money, I would be able to read for months. I quickly found out I was wrong. That $50 allowed me to read a single book. Actually, that book isn’t complete so I paid $50 to read part of a book. Unbelievable. When I realized how quickly the coins were being used, I purchase the unlimited subscription. I thought since it’s unlimited that it give allow me access to all the books. I started reading a new book that I was interested in finishing. But I got a short percentage in and was prompted to purchase more coins. That’s when I realized that the term unlimited is intentionally deceptive. What’s unlimited about only being able to read only some but not all of the library of books? To summarize, I spent $110 to read one incomplete story, and to read a few chapters of another story only to find out unlimited is not unlimited. I have no idea how they get anyone to pay these prices. I don’t know how anyone can afford it. They’re ridiculous.

I love this app. I love all the different types of stories about shifters. I’ve been reading this app for about two years now it takes me away puts me in a whole New World. I’ve told my friends about it and recommended it. I wish we can get more coins when we’re reading for so long because it takes several days to get enough coins to read one chapter. That’s the only complaint I really have oh and then that some author stop writing because some problems between the app creator, and I’ll be invested in that story then I spent money on coins, and now I’ve read this book or an entire series that I cannot finish because the author decided to stop writing, and I have to go to a different platform to finish. The book is kind of disappointing also.

Good stories, terrible coin system. I recently downloaded this app because a story I saw on social media caught my eye. It’s impossible to read a book by earning coins, at first I could get a chapter or two then I realized it would take me days of check ins and watching ads to earn enough coins for one chapter so I just bought coins so I could really read the book. I didn’t realize how many coins you actually need to read the whole book. I finally checked and saw how many coins are needed for the whole book and this one book would end up costing a little over $100!!! That is outrageous!! This app would be great if you could buy books outright or there was a way to actually earn rewards to really read. I saw where you can “join a group” to earn more coins but then you have to join a group of strangers on WhatsApp. Unfortunately I don’t see how this is a realistic app to get to finish books.

Love the stories!. I love the variety of genres and amount of books available on AnyStories! It does take coins to unlock chapters on some books, coins can be purchased or won as rewards for tasks. I enjoy the convenience of having books available anytime I wish to read. Highly recommend, especially if you enjoy romance type novels! This app provides you with many great authors that aren’t well known yet. Come find your new favorite author and get lost in a book!

Terrible App, don’t waste your time or money. I grew up reading Wattpad (the free version) and while I did not expect this to be a spot on version, I did at least expect to get the bonus coins it’s supposed to give out. I have tried updating, waiting for future updates to fix the issue, and so on. So far, nothing good has come from me using this app. If I could at least get my daily bonus like I’m supposed to, I would possibly invest some money, as I have found quite a few books I like. But the app will not give me my bonuses, and when I do get the daily bonuses and time spent reading bonuses, I get to unlock one chapter before they disappear. I thought it was a fluke, tried to uninstall and reinstall and it’s a no go. I am uninstalling because, once again, I got my 35 bonus coins for reading and 5 bonus coins for daily log in (which is very finicky, it will say you’ve either read for less or more days so you never get the 15 bonus), I had 52 coins. I read ONE chapter of a book for 25 coins. All of a sudden, I have 11 bonus coins. I constantly go back to 11 coins no matter how many I use or do not use. I’m not going to spend my money on coins that I don’t even receive or glitch out. So, big no go for me and uninstalling to avoid the frustration.

I like it. At first I didn’t care for this app. If you don’t buy the monthly unlimited access it’s not that great. Takes forever to accumulate coins to read chapters unless you buy them which gets expensive. As you’re reading there’s a 30 min unlimited claim button, click that for a trial or $0.99 for 150 mins but then it gives you the option for $18/month for unlimited books/chapters. Subscribe to this as it is so much cheaper! That’s the only place I could find that option, I haven’t seen it offered anywhere else… yet. So far the book I’m reading good, I love and hate how you can highlight and comment throughout the story because numbers will appear next to that chapter showing how many comments, I find it a litt distracting.

Changing to 1 star because my credits keep disappearing. I use the free daily coins to get new chapters but sometimes my free coins just disappear. Sometimes it will show I have like 15 or something and then once i click the button to claim more all of a sudden I now have 0 coins instead of 22. I’m not spending $50 per book to unlock all the chapters for an unpublished, unedited work. I enjoy reading on here but the glitches are making it more and more frustrating to continue wanting to use this platform no matter how much I like the story. I’ve had at least 80 coins disappear on me like that. So frustrating. After i wrote my first review i still keep having credits disappear and no it is not because they expire because I spend them on chapters as soon as I have enough to do so. Fix your glitches and give all your readers some free credits for wasting our time.

Could be better but I still like it. Downloaded app a few days ago and I’ve been hooked , few books in my library that I’m interested to start in . I have started Four or Dead and it’s a great read. Yes, there are typos here and there but it’s ok. I most definitely can’t wait to start picking up on more werewolf stories , started the Quinn Loftis Grey Wolves series and so far in loveee . I do hate that you need points to unlock chapters but the daily whatsapp group codes are definitely worth the wait and it’s cool to interact with other people ready the same books and hearing their progress and opinions.

Take Your Books Everywhere!. This app is very easy to use, and a great way to obtain content to read digitally. I have been hooked on a book for the past several weeks that and I can’t put down - and don’t have to because it’s always with me on my phone! My only concern would be that if you are an avid reader you could be spending a lot of money to keep up with your reading. There are plenty of ways to earn free coins, but if you are a binge reader like me you will be spending your own money!

Any Stories Book App. I recently downloaded this book app. They have a large variety of fiction novels. From what I see so far, most books have the first couple chapters unlocked. Some have more chapters unlocked then others. You do need to use coins to unlock the rest of the chapters. You can purchase more or earn them by various ways. Such as, signing in every day (they increase), watching ads, or linking your email. The do have books in the app that are free to read. I'm still learning which ones are completely free. It's fairly easy to go to the table of contents to look up all the chapters and see which ones are locked. They also have group chats with daily redemption codes, book suggestions, favorite author, etc. The app itself is very user friendly. Easy to find new books to read and browse by various categories. I do wish it was easier to read the summery of these books before you open it up to the first chapter. I click on a book to see it for the first time and the first chapter opens up immediately. Then I try to click on the very top for the tool bar to open so I can check the chapters and summary. The tool bar doesn't always open right away. It usually takes me a couple clicks.

Lacking app support. I have been dealing with an issue with the app. My unlimited stopped working even though I have an active subscription and recently renewed. I emailed support but since I didn’t get a response. I decided I would try to reinstall the app. I took screenshots first as a precaution. After I reinstalled the app I relogged back in and my account behaves like a new account. All the history and coins are gone. So I lost $25 of permanent coins and $10 of the unlimited. I have been emailing support but it takes them two days to answer and they don’t actually help nor answer my questions. This is a major headache and not worth it. If this happens to you, Don’t log out or reinstall your app. Just use what coins are left and then stop the service.

Really unhappy, missing credits, poor service. I have only had my account since July. I have made a couple of purchases but had some credits missing, which were returned before I could contact them. I, thankfully, decided to wait to make sure it was not a regular is. I log in every day to get the rewards done and ways saving up to unlock a story so I could read it uninterrupted and only needed about 50 credits to unlock the whole rest of the story (I had over 911 credits) and when I collected my rewards it showed as me only having 489 credits. I sent a message through support and it took 6 days for them to send me a form letter telling me to check my purchases. I have not made a purchase at all since September 6, 2021. The math doesn’t add up, even an idiot can see it why send me a message implying I am stupid and just spent over 500 credits at once when there is no purchase for more than 50 credits at any one time? I think they should look before imply their customers who spend money are stupid… *Update* Apparently, even when you buy credits with real money, they expire in a month. They really should tell you that but apparently they don’t… Guess I am going to delete this app and go to Wattpad…

Expensive for no variety.. I want to start this review by saying I haven’t spent a single dime of my own money on this app, thank goodness. I used daily bonus coins, completed daily challenges, got frequent “gifts” from three different Facebook groups, and watched ads. And EVEN STILL, I only made it like 24/99 chapters into a book I was interested in before I gave up. I’ve had this app for approximately one week, and I’ve just had enough. The three stories I’ve tried are riddled with grammatical errors, and the individual chapters cost entirely too many coins. I spent 85 coins on a chapter that was probably as long as a single page on Microsoft word, single spaced. I frequently will finish a chapter and say, “I paid ___ coins for that?” So I’m done. I am so glad I didn’t waste money on this app. There are only really three tropes available on the app, and I’m just not interested in billionaires, werewolves, or trauma-love stories enough to keep going. So, I’m deleting this awful app and I’m never looking back.

Way too expensive. The chapters are crazy expensive. The rewards are not worth anything. Each chapter costs way more than you can earn with any bonus points they offer. There is no reason for a book to cost $70 plus. These are not hard copies and they have definitely never had and editor look at them. I’m all for supporting an author but this is extortion. It would take half a year just to get through 1 book. Kindle unlimited you can pay $10 and get pretty much unlimited new full new books. Save your money this app is not worth it. There are better options out there.

Why such high rating for crappy app?. Oh where do I start? Answer to the title… they gave “coins” to people who posted a review. They will sucker you in with an ad read. Then you download. Then you have to earn coins to unlock chapters or purchase coins if you want to do it quicker. The chapters are not even full chapters. They’re like sections of a chapter so a book that would have 15 chapters now has 60 or more. You could earn coins on Facebook groups, but then they changed it to the WhatsApp, where you still got a daily bonus for a while till recently they removed that. Now they have challenges you have to do if they list them for the book you’re reading. And let’s not forget the weekly lottery that they have to earn coins. And then, when you call them out about it, the administrators delete your comments.

Obvious plagiarism, poor to no editing, buggy, expensive. I got lured in by a good story before realizing that the app is pretty problematic. You have a few unlocked chapters before you have to start unlocking them with coins, and the coins can be purchased or acquired by performing certain tasks (checking in, reading). Occasionally, you can acquired bonus points for watching more ads, but I’ve had a bunch not load and wasted my time trying to acquire these coin. The chapters can vary wildly in the number of coins needed to unlock them, and the writers must be paid by the chapter because some of the stories have hundreds of chapters. While the story I’m currently committed to finishing is actually well-written and edited, the vast majority are not. Many are clearly plagiarized from other apps and/or written by non-English speakers (or maybe a bad Google translation) so the story is incomprehensible. Once I finish the one book I’m reading, I’m deleting this app.

What a scam!. I should have known better, and read more than just the first reviews. I got sucked into one of the books that they offer and after the first 9 “chapters” (13 pages is a chapter?) it says download the app! So you do, then it lets you read for a little more and it’s like to unlock the rest here purchase coins. I bought 4.99 worth of “coins” thinking that this is an absurd amount of coins, but well worth it for the story. Cut to a few chapters later and it prompts me to “unlock” the rest by purchasing FOURTY NINE dollars worth of coins. Are you actually kidding me? Do I get a hard bound copy of this booked leafed in gold for a grand total of $50 I would have to spend to read this book in its entirety. Absolutely appalling.

It feels a little scamish. The books are well written but the amount coins needed is my issue. The chapters are short and are soooo very expensive like 56-70 plus coins. So if you buy 9.99 dollars and get 1000 coins it will barely get you through 20-30 chapters because you each chapters is almost 70 coins each. Then you barely earn bonus coins to offset the price. Then the books are never ending so do the math. The never ending books would be great if they were sooooo expensive. But here’s the kicker!! If you want extra bonus coins you have to join this WhatsApp only to have to painfully go through each group to find the weird cods only to not be able to still not afford a chapter. Oh and the help feature is not very helpful it’s probably the most complicated I’ve ever seen on pay by chapter apps. I hate that the books are good and I wish the authors would take their business to other apps. I unfortunately will have to leave get rid of this app.

Needs improvement. I downloaded this app due to a story being advertised as free on Facebook. The story is far from free. You have to pay coins to access each chapter. The coins are set based on the amount of words per chapter (3,000 words = 30 coins. 4,000 words = 40 coins, etc...) it can get pretty expensive. The app has noway to earn coins either. Like having a daily check in, or offering coins when you highlight a spelling mistake. That’s the other thing that needs improvement. You need to have a function built in that readers can highlight and take notes as they read so that the authors can look at them and easily fix mistakes, or reply to questions more easily.

Do not download this app! Developers please read. This app is garbage. The good book chapters are 4x the amount of points you can earn in a day, even after watching 4 adds. At first I could earn more a day, but now the app gives me less points for being on it consecutive days. Now, it looses player points I have earned. Repeatedly, I get enough for the next chapter and I go to the chapter and I’m back to zero points. This is ridiculous! I understand that you only get a certain number of points everyday but to have it be 1/4 of one chapter is stupid. Then to loose the points you were able to earn, terrible. Developers need to fix the lost points problem now, the app shouldn’t even be released with a bug so big. If I could I’d give it 0 stars. Do not download this app!

Best novels from any app!!. This app has the best novels especially werewolf novels! I assure you that some of these stories can only be found here. The chapters can be pricey but are well worth it. I deducted one star because I miss the fb group tasks & comments. I try to keep up on the new app but it’s so hard. I barely have enough to read 2 chapters a day. Before I’d spend hours here. I hope it goes back to normal. That being said even with the changes you will find yourself back her for the great novels. I wish there was a mthly option that had access to whatever you want. Please consider adding this option to keep readers like me.

Coins. I have a few books on here that I like but am haveing a hard time getting to read them because you need and crazy number of coins to unlock one chapter that is 10 pages long. I appreciate that you can get coins by longing in everyday and watching adds but those aren’t really helpful when you can’t make enough coins with those to read one chapter. It would be nice if the coins needed for the next chapter would stay the same. Or maybe even give a free chapter away after so many hours. One of the books I want to read will cost me $130 to read!!

Just okay. Hi the app is okay. I find myself going back to wattpad more. For AnyStories, there a Facebook group and what app group which you can be more interactive with the writers of the stories. You can also be interactive with the groups on WhatsApp more. There the admins have created groups where you can interact more with your peers. Some of the groups that they have created are shifter/supernatural, mafia romance, fantasy etc. In the app AnyStories you can read the first 5 or 6 chapters for free, after you need to coins/ bonus to unlock the rest of the chapters. Here is where Facebook and WhatsApp will be your friends. On FB you can join there group and there daily bonus posted on there page. On WhatsApp there are daily codes that are generated. It all depends on what your preference are. AnyStories has a very of stories like werewolves, fantasy romance, Erotica, Dom/Bdsm etc. Overall I think it’s just to much to be going back and forward between WhatsApp and Facebook to be connecting extra bonus. If everything is kept on one platform it would or might be easier.

Not the best. So I only recently downloaded this and while I’ve found a couple of stories I like most of them are great concepts but so poorly written I can’t get through more than a couple of chapters. This is no fault of the writers I know it’s common for writers to not have the best grammar, I just feel the people running the app should proofread stories before publishing even if it delays updates. Also I’ve checked in every day for the last five days but it only gave bonus for the first three every time I go to check in for the 15 bonus the date it says suddenly moves to the following day which is RIDICULOUS. I’m in school I can’t afford to spend money on these apps and there’s no wait for a free chapter feature, so bonus really help me get some reading. Its also a little hard to navigate in general it’s easy but I seem to only be able to put one tag and Id really like to be able to sort better through them. I wouldn’t mind an option to sort through complete and ongoing. Not to mention so far the majority of the free stories I’ve found are no more than ten chapters, I’ve found one free story that’s complete. I’m sure there’s more but my ability to sort and navigate the app makes it difficult the free story I did find that’s complete was found by accident.

$80 for one book. This app seems to have fine content, but if you want to read a book you’ll either have to save up on 3-10 “bonus coins” by logging in every day for god knows how long, or pay nearly a hundred dollars to finish in a reasonable amount of time. The pricing system is not transparent, and when I tried to read my first book I didn’t realize how expensive it would be to finish until I was a fair way into the story. There’s no reason why there couldn’t be a price upfront, so it seems like a strategy to get you hooked and then ask you to buy x number of coins for the low low price of $50 (without mentioning that this number of coins will not, in fact, get you to the end of the book). It’s a shame because I like the concept of the comments within the book and a system that allows you to support smaller authors, but there is just no way this pricing system (even with the teeny tiny bonus options) can be sustainable. For context, my next chapter costs over $100 coins — the cheapest coin package is 1,000 for $9.99, and this book has well over 100 (very short) chapters.

Unlimited is not unlimited. I read quickly and was enjoying the stories I was reading so far, so I bought the monthly unlimited subscription thinking I could read all the books on an unlimited basis. This isn’t correct. I started a book, got 5/6 of the way through and suddenly I needed to buy coins. I have no idea what this app is trying to do. Not all books are unlimited, but they certainly don’t mention that when you sign up. My favorite is I chose a supposedly unlimited book and the app says, you get to read for “free” . No, I paid for a monthly subscription, it’s not free. It’s $10. I would happily keep this app for $10/ month and read these silly, fun stories. Unfortunately, I’ve paid $20 and haven’t even been able to read a complete story with that money. Over time, if this app had given what I paid for- an unlimited subscription for the books on the app for $10- I would have stayed probably a year or more, sadly for them, I’m leaving this scam and headed back to the free elibrary. The stories are so fun, I’m bummed the app now seems shady and gross.

Overpriced. You can read a few chapters from any book for free before you are required to spend “coins” to unlock chapters. While you can earn a few coins, the max per day is never enough to finish a book and sometimes not even a chapter. There is no option to spend coins to unlock an ENTIRE book at once. Plus, the cost to unlock a single chapter is completely random, one book had a chapter for 148 coins and another had it for 12. For reference, you can purchase 1000 coins for $9.99. Keeping that in mind, $10 will not unlock a full book. I can literally walk into a bookstore and buy a COMPLETE book for less. On top of being overpriced, in order to earn more coins I joined their Facebook group. I was given a task to “earn” 140 coins (not enough for a chapter in a book I wanted to read). I was told to write a review on GoodReads using a prewritten message about reading for free on this app. Not cool. I do not feel comfortable spamming another app to earn a few coins to unlock parts of a book. Not cool at all. Maybe the books are worth it? I will never know since downloading the app 2 weeks ago, I have started 5 separate books and haven’t gotten past 10 chapters on any of them.

ridiculously expensive. Don’t get drawn in by a few free chapters. Ok so you get a few chapters for free then you have to buy coins (or take forever to get bonus which are small amounts). Then as each chapter goes to unlock another chapter the cost of how many coins you use keeps going up. Other people mentioned this as well but still have high reviews not sure why. I should have listened to what they said about the cost. The chapters are also small. The book I am trying to read has over 400 chapters. If I am already having to pay 38 coins for chapter 11 how many coins is it going to require to read the chapters past 400. I will try and use the bonus to get through the book but it take let the enjoyment out of reading so not sure if I will just give up at some point.

Don’t waste your time. Feels like a scam.. It’s felt a little sketch but figured I’d give it a chance, so here’s where it FEELS LIKE A SCAM…you have one message that says 20 coins to subscribe your email & another that’s says 30, but I definitely didn’t get either. It showed up as 10 coins and I sat through ads to get to 32 coins to unlock chapter 9 that was supposed to cost 28 to unlock. Then I need 23 to unlock chapter 10, except now my coin balance is at 0 again. I mean, the stories were fine-good concepts with mediocre writing. But you will waste more time watching ads to get chapters unlocked than reading. Or you can pay them for coins to unlock the mediocre fan-fic type stories. Instead I just deleted the app, but wanted to be sure to leave this review to let everyone know DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!

Disappointing. So this app is just like every other social media app advertising and it’s incredibly disappointing. Number one you earn very little for daily log in and ad watching Number two if you are patient enough to save your coins it will still take you forever to read a single book because the chapters are so short. My example for this is as follows: I got sucked into a story on an instagram ad…great no worries I’m patient enough to watch ads and stock pile coins….oh…even with unmasking the auto subscribe you still cannot see how much each chapter costs…no biggie…I will treat myself this one time because I like the story and buy a coin package….I bought something like 3500 to 4000 ….this should definitely get me through the book…y’all….I made it to chapter 108 out of 500 and some ….absolutely absurd number one to split up a story into 500 and some tiny chapters and number two it would cost me close to $250 to read this one book….to put it in perspective that’s roughly 12 books bought anywhere legitimate. Such a rip off and scam, which is a shame because I was genuinely enjoying the story.

Too much!. I started reading a book that was advertised on Facebook called “four or dead” could be a really good book but not something worth paying actual money for. And the prices to purchase each chapter are just too much!!! I had never heard of this app until I saw the promotion on Facebook and I see why now. I would love to finish the book but I barely started it. I did the watch ads option to get the bonus coins but it only goes for so many ads before you have to stop for the next day. I’d continue watching multiple ads for each chapter if that were an option but it’s not. Not worth spending mommy hard earned money on. And when I googled it to find out the information on the book it says “FOUR OR DEAD ALL CHAPTERS READ ONLINE FOR FREE” now most people would take that as the chapters are free!!! Only had this app for 24 hours and seriously disappointed, going to delete it now!

$5 for 19 chapters $49 to finish- what?!. Perhaps there is a better option and looking at the in app purchase at the bottom there seems to be an unlimited $9 option but in app there are so many options and few of them seemed to reflect what’s on this App Store page. The story seemed interesting but $5 in I’d only hit chapter 19, nothing really had happened and the app was requesting more money to unlock the 50+ remaining chapters. I would definitely not recommend this app and the only way I would read something from this author again is if the complete story was available to purchase outside of this cash grabby app. Deleting this app and warning everyone next time I see it pop up as an ad on other platforms.

Good stories and variety, but…. I love the variety of stories available on the app and I’ve started reading several different ones, but this whole premise using coins to unlock chapters really bothers me. Sure, you can complete small tasks or come back every day to earn bonus coins, but if you are a binge reader, you will go insane with how slowly you have to read a book if you go solely based on bonus coins. If you decide to buy coins to unlock chapters, you run into the problem of paying WAY too much for a book that isn’t edited very well or sometimes, just poorly written. And you never know how much a book will end up costing you. In one book I’m reading on the app, I unlocked one chapter for 27 coins. The very next chapter was 66 coins!!! I still think the stories available are entertaining, but I wish there was a way to buy a book outright or at least know how much you’re going to spend on a book… but I guess if the app was that transparent, no one would use it. Bottom line: The app has some good stories, but be aware and proceed with caution.

AnyStories. Do you love to read, this is the app for you. Download free novels on werewolves, romance, witches, good/bad, evil. You can even decide how juicy you want your stories to be, rated PG, R or even leave nothing to the imagination and go X-rated. Check in daily to get coins, you can purchase if you decide to read a novel that is not free or just accumulate the free coins to open the chapters until you have downloaded enough to read. Many ways to get novels! The only thing I don’t like is when authors write books with thousands of chapters. There should be a cap, if you can’t wrap up a story in a few hundred chapters you most likely have too many tangents happening (which could be additional books), or you are repeating behaviors of characters. Wrap it up for readers!!

Books, Chapters, Novel. I am very invested in these stories I’m reading 16 books in between I watch the ads get coins and some have been heart felt and others very romantic and or exotic. Takes the stress off because I feel like I’m in the book. I relax and read. I enjoy these novel, fiction, non-fiction it lets me see be in the book as if I were part of I love reading them. They keep me busy when I feel out of place. I sit down open the app and drink my coffee it tea while I read and sometimes I fall asleep reading them. 🐺❤️🔥🫦🫦

Be prepared to spend $$$. It’s sad really, this is a good app worn a great concept however your gonna get price gouged. For example I started this amazing book but it’s 500 chapters, the chapters are all a few pages each. Your progressively get charged more and more for each chapter. I have spent over $50 in credits and am only 1/3 MAYBE into the book. It said i will need to buy 19,000 credits to read the entire book. That’s well over $100 in credits. It’s disgusting really how much they charge. And you don’t get many “free” credits a day like I have seen them respond to some people. The underworld book is so good, the writing is sooo good. But I’m put in a position to either be ripped off of stop reading the book. To be honest spending over $50 I have already been ripped off. Sad sad.

I like it but needs some work. I love the book selection on the app. There’s a lot of choices so there’s something for everyone. However, I have bought coins twice and had some left over and went to use them on a different book an hour or so later and they’re gone or I’ll have coins left over from checking in and want to add them to the next day’s check in only for those to be gone. I thought they were removed after a week? Why remove them in the first place? We don’t get a lot of coins from the app check in and reading rewards and most people can’t buy coins all the time to unlock chapters. You have to work with people instead of taking coins after a couple of hours.

Glitchy & unedited. I really want to love this app. However, it’s fairly often that I log in and get my log in credits, go to click on a story to read a new chapter and all of a sudden my credits are gone. So it’s not really something that I can screenshot to get help with. But the time I did grab some screenshots, I wrote their help center and it wouldn’t let me send the photos through the app. So I just sent the written problem and then they said I had to send the screenshots. I tried to at least reply to the email in order to send the screenshots and they never got back to me. I have at least 60 credits worth by now that have just disappeared. Also, the stories are great but often full of misspelled words or grammatical errors. So I don’t know if there are supposed to be editors helping these new authors but if so, they certainly are doing a poor job. I will still keep this app till I’m done reading the stories I currently have going but, unless the glitches stop happening, I will be deleting when I’m done.

Books ok but too expesensive. So the quality of the books/more of a novella style then novel isn’t terrible, minor editing faults compared to other similar apps. I am not against the paying for chapters either because authors should get credit for their work. But when it starts costing over $10 (for novellas,) I am expecting really good quality and decent chapter lengths which is not what this app gives. Books of this quality are on kindle for $3 and is where you should probably spend your money. If they capped prices for the books at say $5 max a book, these guys would probably have a decent following but at this point you’re better off with a kindle books subscription or going with one of the other apps that make you wait for chapters to be released. Unfortunately it’s not value for money

Unknown spend…... Fell in love with the characters for 3 chapters……then needed to buy coins……the unfortunate part of this model is you have no way of knowing how much a book will end up costing you. 🤷🏼‍♀️ it could be $20 or it could be $80. It would be great if there was an insight into that or a capped cost. More than expecting to pay to read but knowing the cost up front would make me more likely to purchase.

Review. This app has a whole bunch of great addictive stories that are great reads, the fb group helps you earn more points too so you can unlock more chapters !

Too expensive. It’s got some good stories but unfortunately to hard to unlock chapters as can barely get enough rewards to unlock one chapter a day and with a book that has 334 chapters it’s gonna take me almost a year to read that’s ridiculous and it’s way to expensive to pay for it. Would love if there was an option to just pay at a reasonable price to just unlock the whole book would be much much better. Please fix this and then it would be a great app unfortunately just too expensive to use and am so disappointed cause there is a book I am loving.

Good stories but too expensive. The stories are good but they are too expensive and the way to earn coins keeps getting reduced and the amount of coins you can earn keeps reducing as well. I used to be able to read 2 chapters a day, and now it would take me 2-3 days to earn coins to read just one chapter. I have now stopped using this app because not worth it

Don’t bother downloading. The chapters are too short and also so expensive. Paid for a 1 month unlimited doesn’t even work.

Stories are good but way too expensive. There are some great addictive reads on this app. But it’s way too expensive. Even if you log in everyday to get the bonus coins they disappear. My balance keeps changing. Fix the disappearing coins and lower the cost of stories.

Money. You have to pay to read the whole book, it’s way to much money to spend to read a book you might not even end up liking. It’s a no from me, and I advise you not to download it, you’ll read a book start to like it then you’ll have to stop reading it bc u have to pay for it. If this app wants to grow a viewer base and have more downloads, don’t make people pay for every book. Take notice of Wattpad they have programs where you’ll pay for a book and even then it’s 1 coin!!! You’re making me pay 20 coins for 1 chapter!!!! It’s totally ridiculous especially ur such a small app right now. Don’t get too big for your boots okay

No coins granted after watching ads. Watching an ad in it’s entirety only to be told “ad failed to load” no coins are granted. Contacted customer service who told me it’s my server issue… umm no.. the ad loaded fine and I watched it. No reply after that. Some chapters were asking for 50+ coins to unlock chapter which meant 2-3 days of collecting coins before reading. So many other great apps out there, avoid this one.

Too expensive for what it’s worth. The story of “King of the Underworld” seemed interesting so I purchased coins to read and way too expensive. Better to buy a physical book or read somewhere else. Having to pay for every chapter is ridiculous. Some chapters are just too short. I would never waste money again personally speaking as there are so many great books out there , written by well known authors that are affordable and great reads.

“Better than all the rest!”. To quote the very talented Tina Turner, AnyStories is actually better than the rest of this genre of apps - those that provide novels/stories to read. It passes both sides to these apps with mostly flying colours (by comparison it should be noted): authors providing the content and readers wanting to read (mostly pay to read- PTR, with some free stories). In short, I cannot comment in detail about the author experience other than hearing that AnyStories is a better way to go than certain other apps. From a reader perspective, there are decent opportunities to collect bonus coins, both in-app and through engaging in fb groups and completing tasks. If you are patient enough, it’s possible to read a PTR without spending any real money. The app layout is easy to navigate, with one or two exceptions, but overall this app took the place of all the others I had downloaded. Good stuff!

Way too expensive. This app costs way to much. Just to complete one book cost more than a normal book you would buy from a book store or even on kindle or iBooks.

The War Gods Favourite.. I have been loving this story but I am so disgusted. I’ve just spent an unbelievable amount of money. I’ve been charged twice instead of once for my second set of coins but I find I cannot read a lot of the chapters. There is no link to open them and it’s impossible to read them. So far I can’t read chapter’s 35, 37, 41,42,43 and I’m sure there are more . How on earth do I resolve this. My money has been stolen and I am not happy. I will be finding every way I can to report this abs retrieve my money. I will also never again fall for reading a story or stories online.... No incentive to read as too expensive!. There is no incentive to read and get involved in a story as you have to pay 6-10 times as much as a book from the store!! Way, way, way too expensive!!! At least give a daily login incentive or something! Only current option is to pay and I won’t!

Good app. Hi. I really enjoyed using the app. But I would like to know if there’s a way to link my account? Coz I’m currently using my Apple account but would love to be able to still have the stories I bought should I change to a non-Apple device. Unimpressed. The app was a bit difficult to navigate at first. Some of the stories are good but if you’re someone who likes to pick up a book and not put it down until it’s finished this app isn’t for you. It’s very expensive to unlock the whole book and the daily free coins seem to keep mysteriously disappearing before you get a chance to unlock anything. Very unimpressed.

Well functioning novel app. The app itself works really well. Easy to use and navigate. There is a wide variety of fiction stories - from werewolf and fantasy to billionaires and other romance. It is expensive to unlock chapters though, and some of the books have very short chapters, are incomplete and are littered with typos and grammatical errors, where others are amazing and I couldn’t put them down. If you can look past the novels essentially being unedited drafts, then you’ll love what this app has to offer.

Too expensive. It’s disappointingly too expensive. The app needs to come up with a better paying system. It’s just far too expensive. They would be better off with a monthly or yearly subscription based paying system. You have to earn coins to unlock chapters. I’m currently reading one of the books on the app and there’s just under 600 chapters in it, so far I’ve spent $100 Australian dollars yet I’m only up to chapter 194! The chapters are very short and each chapter you need approximately 50 coins to unlock it. Earning the free bonus coins per day sometimes isn’t enough to unlock 1 chapter. So this book is either going to end up costing me hundreds of dollars which is not affordable to finish reading, or 3 years by the time I’ve managed to earn enough bonus coins every couple of days to unlock 1-2 chapters every couple of days. I may just have to not finish the book, count my losses and just read books off Galatea which is more affordable with their subscription ($98 AUD for a yearly subscription). I can read however many books as I like without needing coins to unlock chapters. As much as I would love to continue reading books on this app, it’s just not affordable.

Daily coins don’t load. Really enjoying the book I’m reading but it’s impossible to even read 1 chapter a day as the daily check in coins aren’t loading. Even with watching the extra videos to get coins that’s only 20 and you need at least 35 ??? Need to spend well over $100 to read 1 book

Terrible App. When you make in app purchases it automatically charges you twice and only gives you half the amount of what you’re supposed to get. Some great well written stories but, not worth it.

Good app. Enjoying this app! Would like an option to archive read books, so I can find them again easily without leaving them in my library. Also, would like more consistency with the amount of coins spent per chapter - some are 15, some are 43. It can become very expensive to read some of the amazing books.

Fantastic. The app is filled with so many novels to read from and it’s hard to choose one book to read from with the many romance and other fiction stories. I highly recommend if you are looking for something different this is where you’ll find it.

Better Reading Apps available. You need coins no matter what for this app. Extremely costly, even for the coin membership. Looking into the unlimited which is only certain books. You can’t earn much in the way of trying to get additional coins for chapters. Radish so far has been the best way to read novels for the same price as the books should be paid. This company needs to start doing just a subscription like most or earn more coins. Or chapters unlocked after a certain period of time like radish. Even Wattpad and Galatea are doing better regarding the right balance for money to book spending.

Points Expired. The Points i collect or paid is expiring on the app and i havent used any. How can i read or use the app if my points expired

Glitch. This app features great authors the only problem is is it is super expensive and any time I go back on it my coins have dwindled. I checked it two days ago and had 45 coins today I went and checked I only have 6.

Expensive and misleading!. The way the coin system works is deceiving. I cannot find a spot where it will tell me how many coins it will be to read the entire book. You use the coins to unlock the next few chapters. Based on the number of chapters in this book, and how much I’ve already paid, I’m going to be into the hundreds of dollars to read this book.

Bonus Coins. Daily I get the error stating that “oops, an error occurred, please try again later” when getting bonus coins (daily for reading and the 20 given out at 4 coins a shot). When refreshing the App it does not give those coins back but simply takes that opportunity away. Time consuming to watch all the commercials to get those coins but to take them away because your site has issues is beyond frustrating. I lose out on 4 to sometimes 20 (as it happened this evening) coins making it that much longer before I can unlock the next chapter. Trying to get anyone to help is non existent. Beyond disappointed.

Points Will Disappear That Weren’t Due to Expire. Warning! Be prepared to login and find all they points you worked hard for disappear all at once when they weren’t due to expire. I lost everything at once (nearly 700 coins) and they wouldn’t even look at the photos that proved they didn’t expire nor did I get any reimbursement. Stay away from this app! Update: AnyStories reimbursed the missing coins. And in response to their reply to this review, I absolutely had nearly 700 coins just disappear. I used the Facebook app to get a hold of someone helpful but it took a few days.

its bugging out.. love the app, but its been kicking me out every time i try to get into the app, would start to upload then jump out of it, really frustrating, when i want to jump into the books im reading.

Addicting. I’m addicted to reading on here. I’ve read 8 stories in less than a week. They’ve all been multiple “books”. The cost isn’t horrible compared to snooks, audible books or physical books.

Great. Absolutely love this app, I have spent many hours laying on the sofa reading stories, You can earn rewards and coins just by reading which mean you don’t have to pay to read. I love it because there is a large verity of stories and new adventures there is a good read for anyone.

Great app but expensive. The stories are really good and the writing is captivating. I believe purchasing the coins is too expensive even with a 50% off top up fee the cost should be lower. On top of the daily checking in or reading challenge it would be nice to have more options to earn free coins. I do use other book apps where you can earn coins for checking in 10 days in a row; you can also earn bonus coins by watching short advertisement videos. It would be nice if this app could use those options so that we could earn free coins quicker. I would’ve definitely gave it a higher rating if the costs were lower or you had more options to earn free coins.

Way too expensive. I started reading a story, paid $4, thinking it would give a decent portion of the book. Unfortunately it will cost way too much to finish this book so I won’t be. The book I read part of, was interesting and well written though. If I could afford to finish it, I would definitely have rated the app higher. You do earn credits for daily log ins but it would take forever to finish a book with the limited amount you receive. **UPDATE… I spent 13.99 more thinking I could finish this book. Not even close!! I looked for it online and the author wants over $40 for it. You can keep it for that price sorry.

I actually thought it would make it through a book and part of another because it was more money than a paperback in a book store is worth. Optional. It is a great app, but could you add a way to earn coins (by watching an ad) or make it so you have to wait an hour or something after each chapter you read before reading the next chapter.

Insanely overpriced!!. This app is crazy! I started reading a book after seeing it on Facebook. I bought 10.00 in coins. Which would unlock 30 chapters. The chapters are insanely short. I’d guess not even a full typed page of writing. Once I finished those chapters I went to look into buying more coins. They have a button to unlock the rest of the book. It would cost me 19,306 coins. I can buy 5000 coins for 49.99. So, the book would costs me 210.00. It’s ridiculous! There is mention of unlimited membership but it doesn’t cover all books! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS!!

Good stories. There are some interesting stories here to read - as with apps like this, some of the stories need some heavy editing. Admins of accompanying Apps and Groups are responsive. I find this app more expensive than some of the others, they do offer freebies to keep you reading.

Another one you need to spend money to read. The free chapters are offered to get you hooked on the book then you must pay money to continue reading the story. All ads for it say it’s completely free but it’s not, false advertising for sure.

Great App but…. I like the stories on this app. They’re decently written and I’m enjoying them more than some of the other apps. That being said, unless I’m spending $$$, I’m only able to read a chapter every week or so as the points are too slow to accumulate and they seem to expire really fast. 3 days in a row, I accumulated 5 points from a daily check in, and somehow 3 days in a row I was still at 22 points each day. It’s a little frustrating.

Manipulative money grab. For the half story I read it was really good. But then I signed up for the membership/free trial, nothing was free and the stories were still locked. I figured that must mean the coins would be on credit or something so I tried to get them, but was instead charged for an unlimited member as well as coins that should’ve been included. Now they refuse to do a refund. Basically being charged for the same thing twice.

Don’t waste your time falling in love with these stories. I was really enjoying a story, but with my free coins, and an additional $9.99 for 1150 coins, I was only able to make it about 43 chapters into a book listed to have about 500 chapters. Some of the chapters were so short, but would still cost me 50 points for the next SINGLE chapter. I would end up spending over $50 reading one single story on this app. Books are already expensive and this is even more so with less fun. I want to binge read stories, not save a few coins a day to read like 2 minutes of a story. Kindle unlimited I can read as many free books as I want for $20 a month - the point of online reading is to make it more affordable and accessible!

Too expensive. It would cost over $22 to read one story, that’s the price of a hardcover book. I read ebooks because it’s cheaper than buying physical books. There isn’t anyway to earn coins for free. There are better apps where you can earn coins or get a free chapter a day.

Not free. Thank you for getting me so excited to read King of the Underworld only to find out you lied about it being free! No way in hell will I spend hundreds of dollars for one book! I would have gladly spent a monthly fee or a one time fee but paying for every chapter is ridiculous! Shame because that author is incredible

I have had a few different reading apps that were ok, but I eventually ended up deleting them as they would reset and loose my place or very limited options to earn points to be able to read. This one is by far the best one so far! Love the books I’m reading, well written, great storyline and characters, definitely could be sold on Amazon or in stores!

I would give this zero stars if I could. Literally within an hour of downloading this app I hadn’t even opened any stories and I was getting notifications about rape and violent sexual stories sexual assault and so many incredibly inappropriate notifications… this is not at all what I thought this app would be about.

Coin system sucks. The stories I’ve read here are great; kudos to the authors However, I can’t even *finish* a story. I’ve joined the groups to get the coins and I watch the videos and everything. It says there’s a 7 day timer for coins to expire. Okay, fair enough. However, the coins I’ve redeemed for the past 2 days (40 coins) have both expired today, before the seven day period. This happened with my other coins as well. So now that I’m at a point where the chapters are half the length of cheaper chapters, and at the cost of 60 coins per chapter, what’s the point? It takes three days to make up that many coins without watching ads, and I don’t have time to pay attention to my phone all day for 3 coins per ad. Unless you’re willing to spend a ridiculous amount of money, don’t get this app.

Ripoff. I like the story, but you have to pay for coins in order to read a chapter. There is no wait times, and the “challenges” are not worth enough coins to get through a chapter. Waste of time, there are other reading apps that are better. Do not recommend this one. Really disappointed.

Too expensive. Great stories, extortionist business model. Over $200 for a book. Pay per chapter, which wouldn't be any issue, but a book only has 7-12 pages in a chapter and there are 400+ chapters, many if which are basically repeats. Feeling gouged.

Move along. This app allowed me to find different stories that interested me, but the wait to unlock levels have been long for each chapter. Minutes a day of reading is not enough. And then when you’re finally about to have enough points to unlock a chapter, the system takes away your points. Not always, but that it happens at all is very frustrating.

Ridiculous Cost. These seemed like a great option! Sadly that diminished quickly when I had to pay over $90 US to finish the book I was reading. Why would anyone think this is reasonable for a leisurely read? I think I’ll stay with the likes of Kindle or Kobo.

Good book, long to unlock. I am enjoying the book so far. Unfortunately I chose a book with a lot of chapters so it will take me a long time to get the coins to unlock them all but it’ll be my leisure reading.

Inconsistent. I loved this app at first. Now they’ve changed the number of free points to read chapters without any notice, and they skip chapters when you do have enough points. It should go chapter by chapter, not taking your points without your permission to skip the current chapter for one 1-2 chapters ahead. Not impressed. Now I have several chapters in one book that have been skipped. Honestly makes me want to delete the app. This is a new problem, at least for me.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD SPAM. I downloaded this all and it’s someone infiltrated my WhatsApp and constantly adds photos to my iPhone. Once I do not open and I’ve blocked them and they still add hundreds of photos to my iPhone gallery. I don’t know how they do it. I’ve deleted the app, blocked them on WhatsApp and I can’t stop it. Don’t do it!

Extremely Disappointed. The first few chapters of the first book are well written and catch your interest but the cost is way too expensive. For that reason alone, an author won’t get supported, the cost of reading one whole book is horribly expensive. Way more expensive than a hardcover book, kindle, Apple Books and audible combined. It’s absurd.

Keeps hanging up when loading chapters and takes way to long. I have read several books to completion. Andd when I. Try ro read them again this app wants me tppay for them again.I already paid for it, so I should not have to pay for it again. I also think that the price of the books end up higher than if I bought the book out right as on knindle. Please fix this issue about locked chapters that should stay unlocked. The chapters take way rolling to retrieve and keeps hanging up. Sometimes like five minutes. It throws me off.

Love the books, hate the app. The authors and books are great. Some real interesting stories and they have me hooked. However the app glitches all the time. It also charges my account randomly without my permission. It has done so numerous times for different amounts of money. I never get any goods from the charges and the customer support people are slow to respond and incredibly rude. If it wasn’t for the great books, I would have deleted the app long ago. I am just sure to keep no card on file for them to even charge to prevent it from happening more.

Great reading app, But..... I enjoy reading stories on this app, but I don’t always have funds available for purchasing coins... if I had to offer a way to improve this app, I would suggest implementing a daily check in, or a wait for free system. Even rewards for reading for different amounts of time would make it easier for people who can’t really afford to pay so much money for a few extra chapters. I have 2 other reading apps that have systems like this and it makes the app much more enjoyable in my honest opinion.

Great app. I would recommend downloading this app. It’s a really good app. It has all different varieties of books like you never know what’s gonna happen and I feel like the main thing is it’s just you’ll be a little shocked at how some of the books were and what even just start and never would’ve guessed it. So if you’re looking for something to do on your downtime, this book app is the best one for you..

Coins. I think it is a really great app with really good books but I think that the app should find some way to give coins out to people who can’t buy them and also that the books should be charged for coins for the last 5-10 not like the last 30 you want to drawl people in to the book and on there last never so they would want to buy the coins. Also there was this thing in the app where I was reading and it like went off the app completely and I couldn’t get back on and I didn’t like that so I’m deleting the app

Too rich for me. I’ll stick with the Kindle Unlimited. Writing needs better editing. Only found 1 good author, but “chapters” are SUPER short. Cost comes to about 50¢ a chapter, sometimes more. And for some reason there are 344 chapters in the last book! Earned some bonus coins, but they disappeared within a couple of hours, even though they had an expiration date of 5 days. Also, there is no way to give a thumbs down. I was trying to earn some coins, so read whatever popped up, but it was so bad, not even worth the coin to get the chapter from the one good book I wanted. Gave 2 stars just for the 1 good book.

A rip off app. Do not get. I got this app because I wanted to read one of the books in their platform. The book had the first chapters free. It was full of grammatical errors but the story is interesting enough to keep me going. After buying a pack of $10 worth of coins to unlock chapters (1,000) I thought it would be enough to unlocked the whole book.. nope. I unlocked around 10 chapters. They charge anywhere from 80 to 120 coins per chapter. The book is over 95 chapters. Think about how much that it will end up costing. You can even buy the book. Unless you pay the astronomical cost. It’s not worth it at all. Don’t get it. It’s a rip off

Costs too much to get the entire book. The book I’ve been reading has good pacing, an interesting story line, and characters I care about, but there’s no reasonability when it comes to buying rights to read the books. No way I would ever spend as much to buy a book as it takes here. It’s like there’s no knowledge of the competitive market prices. It’s really unfortunate, because I was really enjoying the book, but I don’t throw money away. If I’ve calculated correctly, it would cost nearly $150 to read this entire book. That’s ridiculous.

Lost entire book. I was on chapter 465 of a book and the application reset it back to Chapter 1. As anyone knows, you spend money to unlock Chapters. I have been trying to get this resolved for a while since I had gotten that far in the book and didn’t want to lose my progress or money spent. Customer service has not done anything to correct the issues, just receive notifications that my issue is being worked on. It’s a shame because I enjoyed this site up until this issue. I will be deleting this application and would not refer anyone to this site.

Awesome!!!. I really like this app. You get a lot of different stories that are different from your normal stories you find. The stories keep you hooked from the beginning. There is also a unlimited version that lets you see more stories for free. Once you are a member. They give you daily points just for checking in stop. It’s a great way to find new writers and enjoy new stories. It’s awesome!!!!

Not worth it. I like the idea behind the app. Being able to read and review freshly written books from aspiring authors. But it costs far too much to read the books. They do have ads you can watch to get extra points to buy chapters, but you can only get up to 20 points in watching ads and considering chapters can cost 60 coins it’s not really worth it to watch a bunch of ads for 3 days just to read one chapter. And purchasing points is just as wasteful. By the time you buy enough points to read a book you’ve spent at least $100 per book depending on how many chapters there are. I’d rather go out and buy a book for a regular price.

Worth it!. They offer free books, an unlimited subscription that opens up loads more books for you to read and then there's the locked books. This app has a huge variety of amazing books and they offer tons of bonuses on the app as well as in their Facebook groups & WhatsApp group! I absolutely recommend you download! When you do, be sure & search for Monroe thirty! Her books are incredible & real.

Best Books. I love this app! I’m still learning, but the stories are worth all my struggles. The struggles are on my part and I know it’s easier than I’m making it. User error for sure! So, if you love werewolves/shifters, I highly recommend you download this app. The chapters are a good length and the books don’t want you to put them down. It’s a nightly struggle, for sure. Great opportunity to read new authors. I love this app. There are great stories to find. I also found groups on Facebook that help collect bonus coins, so I’m able to unlock chapters faster. It definitely helps to enjoy the reading experience, by unlocking chapters faster. The app updated and gave more bonus opportunities with videos and such. Small price to pay for good reads.

Price gauging take your money and run!. I love the books don't get me wrong but the cost is outrageous! Plan on spending a minimum of $50 to read a book that says has 90 something chapters which truly at the end of the day are paragraphs at best! Seriously you swipe your screen 2-3 times! It is ridiculous. Also this app charges significantly higher than it's other also high priced competitors whose chapters average about 15 coins/credits a piece. Read one book would love to finish the series buuuut the cost just isn't worth it. How many real books can you buy with that $ that are longer reads even!

Ridiculously expensive. The first two chapters may be unlocked, but after that you buy the chapters individually, and they get increasingly expensive. As well, some of them are very short chapters. The books are not edited very well, and have several typos as well as basic editing mistakes. Some of the plot lines are very catchy, which is why I decided to give it a try despite the errors and did a bonus coin purchase of $5 which I figured, would at least allow me to read one book. It didn’t even make it halfway. I’m sorry, but I’m not paying that much for unedited fanfiction.

Loving it. I downloaded this app about a week ago and I’m loving it. It’s got many books of a variety of genres for all readers. I’m currently in between 2 novels on the app and I can’t decide which one is better, I just share my coins between the novels so I can unlock more chapters to keep reading. Download it and start reading, you won’t be disappointed.

$120 to Read ONE Book!!. I’m enjoying the book (King of the Underworld), it’s a good book, but it’s definitely not worth $120. They use tiny chapters (about 10 phone screens per chapter) and charge for every chapter. I wanted to see how much it would cost if I read the whole thing. The author also repeats many scenes from a different character’s perspective. So you are paying for 2 chapters that contain almost the exact same information. I’m not clear why the app has such high reviews when it is such a ripoff. $20 would be a high price to pay for a book, but I would probably pay that. I’ll be deleting the app because I don’t like feeling that I’m being cheated.

Misleading. So I clicked onto your site through Facebook. Says I need to download the app to keep reading. Start reading the story I got hooked on and then wham bam thank you ma’am, you cannot continue until you sign into the app and then PAY to continue the story!! I get the author may not want their story on the major apps like Kindle or Apple, but for your site to let the consumer to start to read a great story and then make them stop reading to then purchase the story is insane!! Good luck with that and again shame on you for getting the consumer’s hopes up. I’m more than welcome to purchase. a story to read, but again it’s HOW YOU PRESENT IT!!

BEWARE: Suckered in and the price is not worth it. I was suckered into spending way too much on the app. It is way too expensive for what it is. It’s great that there are places for non-traditional publishing; however, the price is disproportionate to quality and compared to traditionally published books. To read the book I found that it cost over $40. I’m all for supporting up and coming authors. But, be upfront. Don’t have free chapters and then say it will cost X amount to finish the book. It’s misleading. I downloaded the app because of a recommendation for a book on it. But no one explained the price system and I was naive and did not read reviews.

Too Expensive.. I downloaded this app to read one book. I read the first 9 chapters that are free. Watched ads to gain coins to “buy” the next 2 chapters. Now it is impossible to unlock chapters without spending your actual money. I would gladly spend $30 to read a good book. But this specific book (that is advertised everywhere on the app), would cost you over $250 to read the full book. When I commented on the book to see if people are paying for this book, the app continues to delete my comment to keep people in the dark of the actual price of this novel. My advise is to do the math prior to spending any money on the app.

Some good stories, but app isn’t great. There are some AMAZING stories on this app and when I downloaded it you could watch an ad to unlock a chapter and just do that as you read. I am not sure why, but that feature is gone now. You can get up to 15 coins a day from daily check in, and then watch a bunch of videos to get up to 25 more coins. Unfortunately, it costs upwards 50 coins to unlock a chapter now. Waiting 2 days to be able to read a 4 page chapter isn’t worth it in my opinion. There are other apps that have similar books to read without all the headache.

So far okay, but the comments section drives me crazy. I am only reading one book as the author switched to this platform for the final book in her series. I know there will be feature updates, and I’m sincerely hoping you’ll be sorting out the comments. I can’t figure out how you have them arranged, as the dates are all over the place and I’d prefer it if we could get comments exclusive to each chapter as that would make it much easier to discuss on what we feel about it instead of just giving away stuff to people who might not have read it yet.

Books are very expensive when you do the math. Many of the authors do a great job writing and I enjoy the stories - that’s the reason for the 3 stars I did give. My issue is the cost of the books. Some books have 500+ chapters and when you do the math on the amount of coins you’d have to purchase to finish the book it can be upwards of $50. That’s insane. I pay $15 a book for well known, published authors in a store. $50 per book on an app isn’t reasonable. And the bonus coins or coins you can earn don’t help nearly enough.

Ripoff. This app is a rip off. They let you read a few chapters for free then you have to sign it so then you sign in and you get a couple more chapters for free then you pay $4.99 and you get a couple more chapters and then you gotta get more tokens in order to read more chapters and it tells you how many tokens you need to read the rest of the book it’s over 20,000 and it cost $50.. are you kidding me!!! Ads pop up the whole time you’re reading and they keep wanting you to do reviews. That’s why there’s so many good reviews because each chapter you’re so crazy about it but you don’t really get to read the whole book. I have removed this app, and I would never loaded again.

Not worth the $$. You’ll end up spending $50-$100 for a “book” that hasn’t been edited or proofread. It’s easy to get sucked in but in the end not worth it. All the “chapter” are a few pages long. One of the books I read spent two “chapter” describing everyone’s clothes. At 50coins per chapter I could have done without all the details. There is a reason books go to publishers to be edited, refined, and have some of the excess cut off. 200 chapters later at anywhere between 40-80 coins a chapter it adds up quickly.

Amazing reads!!. I don't have too long on this app but im working on reading 2 books that are AMAZING! They definitely have some talented authors. You need to collect coins to open each chapter but super easy to do and they have daily ways to collect more without having to purchase. Will definitely continue using this app and highly recommend everyone else to do so!!!

Bittersweet. I’m only two days in and I’m in love with this app a lot of good books to read from a huge variety of selection BUT I’ve spent 15 dollars 5 bucks last night and 10 this morning in total I’ve accumulated 1,500 coins to read this one book it has 517 chapters and I’m only on 44 mind you the first 8/9 was free and some chapters were 28,31,49,52 there’s no consistent chapter price🤦🏽‍♀️so hints the title …it’s bittersweet 🤷🏽‍♀️

Not a huge fan. I started reading chapter one of this book that popped up on Instagram. I really liked it & was hooked so I downloaded the app. Fast forward a couple of chapters & it tells me I need to use tokens to unlock the next chapter? I am lucky if I have time to read anymore. I can’t be jumping through hoops & doing tricks to earn tokens just so I can read a book. I tried looking elsewhere for the book to just buy it outright but had no luck. Very disappointing.

Recommended to the MAX!!!. I most definitely recommend this app to get your wildfire of a kick out of you! The romance, the werewolves 🥵, the excitement in these novels have got me so excited that I literally cannot sleep. I am dreaming of these novels and stories being told! My heart races while reading each paragraph. It’s definitely worth it. I haven’t read in years and I’m happier now reading every minute I can!! Experience a great novel and get attached!! Coins. I have a few books on here that I like but am haveing a hard time getting to read them because you need and crazy number of coins to unlock one chapter that is 10 pages long. I appreciate that you can get coins by longing in everyday and watching adds but those aren’t really helpful when you can’t make enough coins with those to read one chapter. It would be nice if the coins needed for the next chapter would stay the same. Or maybe even give a free chapter away after so many hours. One of the books I want to read will cost me $130 to read!!

Really good but. I love the stories even though they could use so grammar corrections, they hook you within the first 2 pages but… I’ll earn all of my bonuses for the day and won’t use them but when I go back into the app is says I have way less than what I had before I got off the app. I don’t understand why each section that you have to purchase with these coins are of different amounts instead of all the same for one book. Again I really do love the stories but I’m not a fan of the random amount of coins that go missing😕

Great app for reading chapter books and novels.. I have tried many reading apps out and this is one I have stuck with. The interface is easy to navigate. There are ample opportunities for bonus coins daily. Their customer service is VERY responsive. I only wish they had auto scroll so I could multitask. As for their content: there is a wealth of choices… especially if you are into werewolf novels and romance novels. I highly recommend it!

Giving two stars only because I like the stories. The stories are not the issue, I love the stories. it’s the price of reading the story. It’s expensive to finish a book because you need coins for every chapter, and it’s frustrating that they don’t have ways to “earn” coins without paying for them, (like daily check in bonus, watch ads, complete an action bonus, etc like the competitor apps similar to this offer.) I usually spend a few dollars a week to finish a story In some of the other apps, but I’m not willing to spend $15- $20 a book. I’m pretty disappointed by this and won’t be using the app.

Okay, but could be better. I love the stories and like the concept of helping authors out, but at least give us an option to watch ads for coins or something. It’s impossible to earn enough coins to even read one chapter and the amount of money you have to spend to get anywhere in your stories is crazy. Not only that, but half the time purchasing coins won’t even work, despite the fact that I have sufficient funds and it will work otherwise. Would really love to just be able to read uninterrupted without having to worry about coins

Subscription. I have had a subscription with this app for almost if not two years. Haven’t had one problem with the app until recently. I contacted the company about my subscription not working and they said to contact apple. That it had nothing to do with them and I had to buy coins to read any book I was half way through. Then I go back on the app a couple of days later and you can’t even get to the unlimited section. What is the point of having the the subscription of you can’t use it? It is not an apple problem it is the app developer’s problem. As my subscription is still showing up with apple.

Not worth your money. I don’t know why this app has so many high ratings. If you don’t use your own money, it takes forever for chapters to unlock. If you do use your own money, it will only get you about two or three chapters, and eventually you’ll end up spending hundreds of dollars on a single book. Please don’t waste your money here. There are plenty of books like the ones you would find here that you can find at a book store, or on the Apple Books app or Kindle or something. A book I particularly love was finally just published, so I am deleting this app and will never fall this app’s scam again.

Upsetting rules (coins etc.). I only gave this app three stars for the story I read, even though it was already, somewhat, upsetting. If anything were to be worse, I would straight up rate this app a one star BECAUSE of the coins. After reading the other reviews, there is nothing more to say on this topic otherwise, this review will be long and lengthy instead of short and sweet like I intended it to be. I also feel kind of bad because this is the only problem I have encountered (apart from the development and plot of the story which is by all means a PERSONAL opinion) and I do not want to make it seem like this is a terrible app because it is not.

Awesome app. AnyStories has some of the best werewolf romance books that you could ever read. Love many of the apps other fiction stories also. There are time that the stories are so good you just can’t put the app down. However now that so many changes have started to happen I am starting to rethink using this app because of these changes to awards for reading are no longer the same and the fact that the coins expire doesn’t help a person that can afford to buy coins. You can’t build up coins to read.

Don’t Bother. This app has some great books, but to read them for free, you earn coins slower than other apps & now each chapter costs you significantly more coins. I’m sure this is to try to convince you to pay for coins to read more, but all it makes me interested in is deleting the app once I’m done with my current book instead of reading the ones next on my list. I’ve paid for coins in the past as well, but I’m not spending almost 50 coins per chapter when it’s actual money.

Not actually free or cheap. This is not the “continue reading for free” option that they advertise. In order to finish a book you have to unlock the chapters(which are only 8-10 pages long) with their coins and coins are expensive. To finish the book I’d started it was going to cost me $50. Hardcover books don’t even cost that much. You can earn free coins but not enough to unlock chapters at a decent rate. The bonus coins expire as well so you can’t even spend time saving up to u lock multiple chapters because your bonus coins will expire first. Don’t recommend it

I’ve been robbed and ignored. I have spent a good amount of money on this app and loved reading the stories. I decided to purchase the unlimited reading subscription. It gives you many books in a certain list that you chose from to read for a small fee. It worked great the first month. It took several weeks for it to work after I paid for it the second month but hey at least it finally worked... the third month it was withdrawn from my account..., nothing. I waited am still waiting as I’m being charged monthly. I contacted them in October. They emailed that they were reviewing my case. It’s almost March and no response but are still charging me . I’m about done with this app

BEWARE!!!. There are a lot of interesting stories available through this app but BEWARE! I was reading a great story, Werewolf’s Heartsong, and I decided to batch purchase/download the remaining 167 chapters (remaining at the time) only to find out that the author had begun a “rewrite” of the story correcting some things and clarifying others and adding the rewritten chapters as if they were new chapters of the original version. I unknowingly purchased 59 chapters of the rewritten book and when I requested a refund because I didn’t want to reread the book, I was denied. I feel like I was cheated because the rewrite was not disclosed.

It’s a SCAM!!. I tried to read a book. I got thru a few chapters and they said I need to buy coins to continue reading. Fine. I bought 400 coins that supposedly unlocked the entire book for me. It even said it was added to my library. That was a LIE! I continued to read they onced again asked for coins to continue. I looked to see what it would be to unlock the entire book. It was going to be 22,000 coins!!!! For context 7,000 coins will cost you $70. To think that you want me to pay $210 to read a book is ridiculous. Or I could play their little games and take 6 months to get thru a book I could get thru in 6 hrs. App deleted!!!

DO NOT ADD!!!. This app makes you pay outrageous amounts of money to read these books. Sometimes they are good storylines but most of them are not. They have grammatical and spelling errors that a fifth grader could point out. The authors get paid by the chapter, so to finish a book you are paying way too much. This isn’t Harry Potter! For instance, I was reading Werewolf’s Heartsong, I bought over $150 worth of coins because it said that I still needed 13,000 coins to finish the book. Come to find out the last 80 chapters is the same book I already read but has been rewritten to make sure it is grammatically correct, spelled checked, and the continuity is in line. Now I have 10,000 coins to spend when I told myself I was going to finish this book and be done. There is also no calculator to tell you how much one book would cost in coins. Now I’m stuck with a large amount of coins and not sure which book to read next because I refuse to pay another dime to this app. Galatea is so much better, there subscription is actually worth it!

AnyStories. I love the verity of stories I can pick from and it’s amazing to see other peoples views on the stories. I like how you can get a daily bonus for login and how your able to read the being of the stories so you can get a fill if you like it or not before you bye the whole stories. I have recommended Anysories to my friends and family. Thanks y’all from Anystories

Great stories. I love the books on here and have a hard time putting them down the author’s have great story lines and make you want to immerse yourself into the books and I find my self wanting more and looking to find sequels to the stories and love when I find they have them or more stories under the same authors especially Jenny fox she has some really great books and can’t wait to read more of hers

Cost to high. If your looking to finish any of the books without spending an large amount of money hang it up. The chapters cost so much just to read them you start to lose interest in the app and honestly I can understand trying to make sure the writers get paid but I’m not about yo pay 63 tickets for 4 pages!!! That’s ridiculous and it’s very deceitful. I love reading I always have and I don’t mind supporting the little people but this is just ridiculous. You need to come up with better ways for readers to continue to enjoy you app. I’m honestly looking for these same books elsewhere.

A comfort Worldwide to me and Many others. Anystories has kind of become a second home to me. A comfort to me and many worldwide. I've been reading this werewolf novel for about 2 weeks now and I'm already on chapter 110. The stories just pull you in and trap you until you can't help but finish the whole book. It doesn't matter if there's 40 chapters or 400 chapters and that's what I like about this app.
