Best calculator. Very good simple to use calculator

Not at all accurate.. I downloaded this to replace my BAII that I lost. I thought it would be great not having to buy and carry another calculator. Wrong. This thing looks like the real deal but it cannot calculate loan payments, amortization tables, etc. with any accuracy at all! Try the free version before buying the upgrade. Compare its performance to an actual calculator and see what I mean. Junk!

Wacky computations. This app spits out random, erroneous numbers. When given the sane inputs as an actual BA II, this app comes up with outlandish computations. It worked well for a very long time but one day it just stopped working properly and re installing hasn’t helped

Great CFA CALC APP. To the other review just so you know on the TI calc you can change how many decimals it will round to and for the CFA exam you have to have it round to more than just 2 decimals. This app is great.

Ads always pop up. I bought this app for business use. Eve though I paid for it, ads keep popping up and interrupting my calculations. If we pay for it, shouldn’t we have zero ads?

Great app. Easy to use and works like their hand held calculator

Short term solution. Worked great for 4 weeks. App crashes and no longer opens.

Can’t find help. The links only take you to other sites where you can download the app. I cannot find a help file or instructions on how to use this calculator. I’m left to search online for basic instructions from other calculator apps, wasting lots of time.

Perfect for the Financial Savage!. This was my go to in grad school and I use it ALL THE TIME!! I can get a number quicker than joe blow at a dealership or a financial institution. And it’s GREAT for making sure numbers match when I help out a friend checking rates. Love this calculator!

Commercials on a calculator lol. I’ve bought this app twice (wasn’t cheap).. now I have to deal with commercials in the middle of a calculation. Feels like a slap in the face

Doesn’t work. I’m an MLO (mortgage loan originator) and the one day I left my finance Calc at home, I figured I’d download this app to get me through the work day. Now either I have no brain cells or this app was designed by some one who doesn’t use finance calculators. All I really need is the to calculate pmt, N, rate, PV, and FV. That’s the only function I need and it does not work. I assume I’m just using the calculator but there are no instructions on how to use the function since it does not work like a physical finance Calc. I think a simple redesign would solve all issues

Horrible. There is no rotation for portrait vs. landscape which makes impossible to use quickly.

Irritating. The interface looks legit. Trying to use this calc for simple TVM and it JUST WONT WORK! Wasting my time trying to get it working. Thought it might be me, so I went to the manual from TI. Yep I’m entering in correctly, but no solve after I enter in data. Just aggravating!

Malicious app. My phone got a virus because of this app. Watch out!

Calculations are wrong. Time value calculation giving wrong answers

Does not work.. It doesn’t compute PV FV or anything like it. It just has the buttons, but doesn’t seem to save any of the information in order to actually perform the equations. Better off using excel if you forgot your real financial calculator.

Does’t download. Over the past several days of trying to download this application, however it doesn’t get past the picture “Loading…”

Handy. I use the Texas Instruments BAII Plus all the time at work. Sometimes it’s clumsy to have an extra device or I forget to bring it with me, but I always have my phone. When I need the calculator this steps in and works great. I like the feature that it carries to 4 digits to the right of the decimal. Where the actual calculator rounds off at 2 to the right of the decimal.

A perfect emulator. I own a BA||+ and it is exactly the same as this calculator.

Exactly what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for an emulator of the common finance calculator, here it is. Not too many ads/pop ups at all, the rare app I would consider paying for just to support the creator.

Just buy it and never again think about a Calc app. The best I’ve tried. Simply, it does exactly what is promised. One request…. It’s so silly, but a new icon :-)

Does not compute Payback Period. Does not compute Payback Period (which should be under NPV) and I can’t compute MIRR (since it does not give me an interest option after computing IRR as the BA II does). This lack of functionality is death for a finance student.

Useless application. Don’t waste your time or money.. The first thing I tried was to calculate a mortgage payment. The calculated value was off by $9k. The most basic functionality and the app can’t do it. So useless I deleted it after buying the “upgraded” version.

Excellent financial calculator. I use this for all my class work, and it functions excellently. The ads are slightly annoying, but acceptable. It gives me the tools to get the right answers in my academic studies. Highly recommend!

Loan Payments. I’ve been in the mortgage business for 30+ years, therefore familiar with financial calculators. This format resembles the HP 10B. However I am unable to solve for mortgage payment after entering: n, PV and int rate. I’m obviously missing something. Five stars if I can figure this out.

Saved me $15. I’m an MBA student and I downloaded this app for my finance class to avoid paying $15 for the TI app. It works just like the TI finance calculator. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Lot of annoying ads. Works well, but in the middle of trying to do complected math it will pop up an annoying ad. I am not a fan and I am look for a better calculator app. I guess i could get the paid version, but I don’t like buying apps, as there is no way to know if it will be available in the future.

CANT calculate PV or doesn’t calculate it like a normal one does. All I needed to do was calculate PV, it doesn’t do that. At least not like an actual financial calc. Do I have to buy the pro to be able to do that?

Can’t close ads. Ads put close button on the corners of your screen so you have to close the app and re open itevery time while calculating.

This app is wonderful. I love this app. I am taking a personal finance course and this app keeps me from needing to buy a calculator just for this class. Well done

Still getting ads after paying $6?. I thought if I was going to pay for a calculator like this I wouldn’t be seeing ads constantly. The calculator works but I’m really annoyed I paid this company and they still want to throw in annoying ads.

Not calculating interest rate. It is not giving me the I/Y after I add all the other TVM inputs.

I’m not e~slum. First of all. Great calculator. Great functionality and I’m willing to say that the paid version might be good as well. But I’m no e~slum. Why does my calculator want me to be e~slum? Why keep pushing adds for me to download the kruuuu-un? I don’t like this.

Useful app. Better investment rather than actual calculator

Works well until…. Too many adds on the free version. Gettings adds in foreign languages as well. Some adds freeze app.

Can’t go wrong. It’s identical to the real thing, identical to my business calculator of the same brand name! It completely replaces the real thing! This app like what every smart phone does, it eliminates the need to carry other things around like a camera, music player etc….and this app eliminates the need to carry a business calculator.

Good APP. I have been using a physical BAII + for 15 plus years until this APP 100% duplicate the real thing and no longer require an actual Texas Instrument

Doesn’t do certain things. I have 2 other BAII Plus financial calculators, one being physical and the other being a different emulator. This app doesn’t calculate nominal rates of interest properly. Followed the same steps on other calculators and they work, this one comes back as an error. Also had some issues with calculating number of compounding periods.

Useless. Every time you press the P/Y key the letters stay there instead of showing which buttons you are recalling and when you input the values for 5 of the buttons (I/Y, P/Y, PV, FV, PMT, or N) the calculator doesn’t give you the value of the 6th like it’s supposed to. absolute garbage and waste of time

Pmt calculation on mortgage incorrect. I just added this app and tried to do a simple Calc. PV 735,000, I/Y 3.375, N 360 and when I hit CPT PMT the answer is -$24,806.41 when it should be $3,249.40. Tried several times w same result.

Doesn’t Calculate Pymts or PV correctly. Compared to my old school Texas Instruments BAII Plus, this app is just incorrect with its calculations for payment, PV, interest rate, and number of payments. Save yourself the hassle and pay Texas Instruments the $14.99 for the iOS app or go buy the calculator at Target.

Not the same results as the vintage original. Trying to get this emulator to do the following: calculate loan amount (PV) based on 25 years, monthly payment of $800. Interest rate of 12% annual. I enter 300 N. I enter $800 PMT. 1 for I/Y and then enter 2ND PV. The result on screen shows P1=1.0000 which is incorrect. Upon further information you're supposed to press CPT but the result comes back as a negative. Key functions are missing. Then I realize the newer BA-II calculators aren’t very similar to the Executive Gold Business Analyst II Constant Memory versions from the late 20th century. This app is the best free version though. I wish I had the virtual version for my vintage BA-II.

Great app but can’t price bonds with maturity after 2049. Is it possible to update bond pricing code to price bonds with maturity in 2050 rather than 1950?
