Favorite music app to listen when i commit genocide!. One of the best most violent and inappropriate music inflicting apps ever! My favorite part was when i burned down my family home listening to this music but a slight 9/10 just need some more songs. It was very useful for getting revenge on my best friend who stole my chick I stabbed him to death!

I should have read reviews first.... This app is practically useless. First, there are two separate age-groups used to classify music and no good way to customize them so my five year old, who likes music in both categories, can only listen to some of what he likes at a time. Please let us set up the filter. Additionally, there is no ability to bring in music that wasn’t pre-selected, leaving out a lot of what our kids like. The app feels more like a cash grab, requiring 2-year olds to have a separate account, rather than just allowing for parent-controlled content. I know it’s still early but I’m extremely disappointed in the app. It does not feel like much thought was put into it. I’m hopeful it will improve but not optimistic.

Good but..... I am just going to start with the fact that I love this app! I do have 2 complaints though. 1. This app has only 3 of the songs from Disneyland!! 😕I mean, there isn’t any bad things in Disneyland songs! 2. This app doesn’t have the outtake songs from Frozen 2, and I love some of those! Any way, I hope that these songs get added! Sorry for the long review, now bye!

Downloaded and instantly deleted. My husband is the family plan manager which makes it nearly impossible for me to add a playlist to the kids app because it's not recognizing my account as connected to the family plan from the app. I'd like to have some playlists set up for my daughter so that it doesn't mess with my recommendations on the regular app. There's no way to switch easily between accounts as far as I can tell on the regular app, and I'd love to have a way to play music for her, especially as she gets older. Why is this app lacking intuitive functionality? I get that it's meant to be minimal for kids but it's practically useless for their parents. Please allow both parents to be able to add playlists and not just the manager! And make it easier to do so!

Great for all ages. When I say all ages, I mean all kids ages :) But this app is overall great. When I got it I thought it would be all nursery rhymes and Disney princess songs. But it’s not! It has a great variety of songs from all different artists. I’d say they’re all clean, but I just got the app so I can’t guarantee it. But it wouldn’t be a kids music app if there were cuss words. But I don’t like how you can’t make playlists. Maybe you can, and I don’t know it. What if parents can share approved playlists? I saw it on a review, “Needs More Variety.” They had that great idea and I won’t take the credit. But it would be nice if you could make playlists on the app, but favoriting them will be fine for now. I highly recommend the app if your kids want to listen to music that you can trust will be clean and age-appropriate!

It’s ok…. The app is good but it has some problems. First, half the time, I can’t do search anything or click on playlists other than my liked songs playlist, even if the Wi-Fi is at 4 bars. Second, the app shows mostly Disney and pop music, and almost no rock, even though I know from when it plays on the radio there is no dark theme or cussing. There are only two twenty one pilots songs, 3 Green Day songs, and not a single gorillaz song. Bro the isn’t even one explicit twenty one pilots song! 😒also add a shuffle button 🔀, and custom playlists, and make the shared playlist downloadable. I mean come on. If your worried people will think shuffle is to complex for little kids that the kid is stupid.

Good concept…. I am a big fan of Queen, Bon Jovi, and FallOutBoy, so I was excited to see that they had profiles. Unfortunately, they only have a few songs on their pages. I understand that this app is trying to provide clean songs, but I think that instead of removing a song with swear words, the song could simply be a clean version, like on the radio. Otherwise, I don’t see many problems with the app.

Needs More Variety. I really loved the idea of this for my step-daughter but the issue is we don’t just listen to pop music and Disney in this house (though there is nothing wrong with that and we still love those tunes). I have playlists I make just for her with all kinds of fun electronic dance music and UK pop records. I would love to be able to share those playlists with her kids account so I still have control over the content but she is getting a better selection than just radio tunes and Disney soundtracks. Update to respond to developers: there is no perfect lineup because I don’t want pre-canned options. Parents should have the ability to share parent-approved playlists (read: playlists made my parents) and approve certain artists/albums/Spotify playlists for their kids. There are already parents in here who think the current pop content is too racy, so you’ll never win with a pre-made lineup.

Their shared functionality and playlists are great!. The reason why I got this app is so that it doesn’t mess up my listening in the main app, while my daughter can also listen to her music. They recently added the function to share playlists, which is great! I know it’s design for kids but I wish the app was a bit more intuitive for adults as well, and that my daughter could create her own playlists (other than from liking a song). The repeat button is also something she asked for. Other than that, it’s a good app with great music curation (you just have look them up or go through the categories).

Playlists. This app is amazing! It’s good for car trips or even falling asleep to. The one thing it needs is playlists. If it had playlists this app would be perfect. I want to have a organized app but without playlists I just can’t! I hope you take this problem into your concern. Thank you!

No playlists.. I bought the Family plan so that I could finally stop having kids music clogging my algorithm. But this app is frustratingly limited. I get that it’s meant for kids to browse but you can’t even create a playlist, a basic function of a music app. At the very least let us favorite certain artists or premade playlists. I know that parents can share playlists from their account but that defeats the whole purpose of keeping our music separate.

Let the parents decide. I want the ability to create playlists for my child using the music I decide is ok. Why can’t I just share playlists with his account instead of having a limited selection that includes music I don’t necessarily want my 4 year old listening to but doesn’t include a lot of his favorite songs. Parents know what their little ones like just let the parents add playlists to their kids accounts. If it’s not possible to do that why not just include everything that’s not explicit then offer the ability to block or remove songs… the way it is now I will just keep using my own account for my 4 year old, this app is useless as is.

I love it. Hi I just want to say that you did an amazing job on this app it is the best app for kids, it has nothing in there that is inappropriate or like any bad songs but I just wish like you had some song that isn’t sad but it is calming like I really want to listen to”CAN I BE HIM”but that song is not on there or titanium isn’t on there those are the only song I want to listen to but besides that I don’t have anything bad to say. Awesome start and awesome developers. My daughter loves this app. For this being so new it’s awesome. The developers have been listening to the other reviews I have read. They have already been working hard to make this app what everyone is looking for with the changes they have made. The only feedback my 4 year old has given me is that she “wants to make different playlist like daddy does”. I’m very interested to see where this goes. Definitely makes me feel better about paying a family subscription.

App is clearly not designed by parents.... If we want to allow our child to listen to certain music that we approve of but want to shield him from music we don’t approve, then we should be able to set those options up from the beginning, not have only 2 age range options of terribly curated options that cannot be customized. Y’all have provided some highly inappropriate music in the ‘older kids’ grouping. It’s shocking. And yet, if my son wants to search his favorite college football team fight song or some other wholesome, harmless instrumental fun song it is nowhere to be found in the search function. What if I want to introduce them to the music of a different culture? What if I’d like to provide them with older generations of classics? There is a world of age appropriate music that is completely inaccessible with a lot of provocative content promoted and showcased in their face. Stop marketing garbage to kids. Stop pushing mature content on children. Stop curating what you think kids should listen to. Allow parents to curate and approve and create playlists, and allow children to request approval for certain music. Allow parents to block individual albums and/or songs. Allow parents to proactively review what’s available BEFORE having to go into the listening history and block content.

Needs A LOT of work. Just reiterating a lot of what was already stated; the inability to cast to Google devices, alone, makes this app useless for my family. I can’t use any of the playlists I’ve already built for my children over the years. And the fact that the kids’ account(s) can’t even be it’s own entity is laughable. So even if I could cast their music, only one kid can listen to their music at a time. I pay for Premium but still have to share one account with 3 other children in my household. We shouldn’t need 4 separate emails hooked to 4 separate devices (which we don’t have) to all enjoy our separate content simultaneously. The playlists are hit or miss, but I’m a lot more lenient with the music my children listen to than others. I just wish it could be a more personalized and flexible experience overall.

No custom playlists or playing on a Bluetooth speaker. I was hoping to use this app to put music on my kids Jooki speaker (a Bluetooth speaker designed for kids to control without screens) while I listened to my own content, but the app doesn’t seem to have the ability to create custom playlists with the songs they want, or to be able to find the Bluetooth speaker. It solves none of my problems. I’m stuck using my personal account to play stuff for them. The only thing this is good for (for me) is quickly locating some music that kids will like.

Great but…. This app is great in hindsight and theory, but there’s so many great songs that I know don’t have any bad words whatsoever, that aren’t on this app, like this one band Cimorelli that in listen to all the time, they do covers as well and always censor bad words, and I would really appreciate if their songs would be added to this app along with other music that doesn’t have bad words

Lacking in music choices.. I paid more for premium family so my kid could have his own playlists (on my phone since he doesn’t have his own device) and not screw up my algorithm however there are hardly any songs available for what he was listening to. In what world do adults need access to infinite Parry Gripp and Minecraft soundtracks but the kids get only a few of those songs to choose from ?? These are KIDS songs. I am going to cancel my premium account and buy my kid his own Pandora.

Love this!. I love this so much every road trip I go on I listen to it the whole time! But, there is one thing. I don’t like that it has a lot of different songs but there isn’t a single Melanie Martinez son on here.I am sorry to whine to y’all but that is the truth. 4 stars. Here’s why… (I would give 3.5). I’m 14. I have this app. I like bands like Evanescence and TOOL and Within Temptation. None of them are on here, which is very disappointing. I have to listen to shared albums. Update Ideas: Add Evanescence and Within Temptation and Maddie and Tae. Add a que where you can choose what order you want to listen to your songs. Not just unliking them then liking them back like I have to. Add a song request feature where you can request specific songs to be added by whoever adds the songs. Thanks for reading. Why??. There is just this one song that has the F word. Like I thought this was for kids??? Some random kid could learn the F word from this song. The child could say the F word to his/her family!?!?!? Like why would you remove the F word from Drivers License and not this song??? Don’t need my child singing about giving oral. Not sure a 5-12 year old should be listening to lyrics like “bruises on both my knees for you” or “might seduce your dad type”. Seems like this was built off Disney and only popular music, with questionable and down right inappropriate lyrics. I don’t need my 8 year old singing about giving oral, just saying. I think each child is different and the control needs to remain with the parent. This app should absolutely have the ability for the parents to add and remove music/artists, without that feature this app is as useful as a glass hammer.

No playlists. Thought this would be good for separating the playlists we play for our little toddler (fun, bedtime, etc.), so the kiddie songs don’t mess up our recommendations. But with no playlists it’s useless for that purpose. Update 4/7 to developer’s response: Thanks for the response. I did see that I can “heart” songs to add them to a favorites list. However, this doesn’t help because we have multiple playlists (fun, bedtime, etc.). Plus, the fact that it automatically downloads favorited songs was actually a negative for me. I don’t want songs taking up space on my device when I can just stream them. That said, added a star as a thanks for responding to my feedback :)

More parental control. Please make this so I can add songs/playlists from my account. We listen to a lot of different genres and I want my daughter to be able to listen to more than just your typical children's songs. I should be able to approve any song I’d like to from my account and share it with her. I can see making her ability to search limited, but as a parent I should also be able to approve songs/artists even if they aren’t typically available for kids.

More variety and takes long for new songs to come out. Hello, I love this app but it just has a few flaws. Im a parent and I have compared that there are more appropriate songs that you can still add , my child loves Rihanna and she noticed that some non-explicit songs aren’t there so if you could fix that that would be great . Also lets say a song came out July 10, 2023, It would’ve came out to this platform September. It takes a while to hear new songs on this app then the regular app. If you could improve these things that would be amazing. Thank you

Love it, but I have a recommendation. I would like if you added just a few more songs, especially Diamonds. I don’t see anything wrong with that song that makes it not available on the app. If you need more info on the song, it is called Diamonds, by Rihanna. I mean- its OK I guess. Okay!sooo-I wanted to get this for my little brother- and, he was searching a BUNCH of songs up and none of them showed up but one Ed-Sheron song. He started just looking up random songs that he knows but only,like, two of them showed up. I mean- a parent could buy this for their 12-year-old kid and than there’s no songs he/she likes. I feel like there should be a button on settings that lets their parent/Guardian (or, in my case, the person that set up their account) conrols what their aloud to listen too. Wylerrrrrr. I am a teen and if you have hesitated in buying or getting this app because you were scared and didn’t know what to expect well I can tell you a little bit about this app since I personally use this app. This app has many different filters. What I mean by that is there are different settings that you can have your child listen too. The one that I listen to is older music and that allows you to listen to stuff that you may not have on the younger music like Megan Trainer or Arianna Grande. The little kids one is music that is appropriate to their age. I really recommend this app.

A few things…. I rated this five stars so I could get it to the top. I would really rate it 3 stars. I just want to say that I completely understand why you guys don’t put the clean versions of explicit songs on there. But won’t I don’t understand why u guys don’t add every single clean and non inappropriate songs on there because I know you guys don’t. I know that because I really like this band called DC talk and it’s all Christian and they don’t have absolutely ANY explicit songs. This is making me upset.. So I’ve had this for a couple months yet this app doesn’t have all the Alan Walker songs without curses. I’ve listened to the great Alan Walker songs with no curses in the car and I always check to see if you have it. You don’t even have all the Victoria Justice songs! This is making me angry and I don’t understand. Can’t you add something where they release different songs each month or whatever? Because all the songs I have make me mad and all the Alan Walker songs I’ve heard aren’t on there. Thanks for reading. Please consider my suggestion.

Liked it but it’s not that good. When I had it I used it all the time but almost all of the songs I like you to listen to were not on their. You guys need to make it so where their are more age options for the older kids like 13 to 15 then 16 and up so that you can have almost all the song in the world on this app and not let the younger kids be able to listen to the older stuff but at the same time the older kids have all of the different kinds of music like some with bad words and some with none so that you will get more people who get this app and you will make more money💵 and be more beneficial to the public.

Overall great app. BUT I have been reading other reviews and this one is pretty much the same thing … you can’t get the music that you want ,so I have a suggestion why not make something like a multi question test so that using the information that the people give you base the app’s music on like if he/she put that they like pop more than rock then put less rock music and more pop music on the app, also some of the songs that people want that are perfectly fine and respectable music are never there why not . it’s not rocket science people !!! why not let the user decide what they want? if it’s for kids then let kids help you improve it !

Works well. It’s a pretty good app, but the parental control settings are off, and I can see a lot of that in the other reviews. You need to be able to change them from the beginning, and mainly cut off all songs with bad words in them. I love listening to songs on this, and it really helps when I’m cleaning and want music, but… I mean it’s pretty good overall, but I’d make a few changes. I’d also recommend adding the ability to create playlists. Also, a few songs with no bad words in them, such as “ King “ By Lauren Aquilina ( I don’t know if I spelled this wrong ) is unavailable. This is all my fingers can handle for today, so good day.

Why just why. Overall it has some good music, the thing is my parents put me as older kid which I am but when I got on I searched a song that I used to have on my playlist that had not cuss words no bad theme to it but it still wasn’t on there. It made no since we need more variety we can’t have kiddie songs that are on older kids and how much you want to bet almost all older kids don’t listen to Disney music. I’m going on thirteen soon and I love Backstreet Boys but they only have three of there songs and most of them are clean and don’t have a bad theme. You just need more of a variety.

I love this app it’s so convenient and fun but I also LOVE The Lion Guard and I see that there isn’t a lot of songs for The Lion Guard playlist and I love ALL of the songs from the Lion Guard so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put ALL of The Lion Guards songs Please as soon as possible Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and please put ALL the Lion Guards songs on your app Thx ☺️ 😎😁

Not worth the $$ yet. The fact you can’t play it via a nest hub or other voice controlled system is a big negative for parents with younger children which is the main reason we got the upgraded subscription. Wish that was explained first when I signed up. Now the kids have to use our main account to play music so no need to pay for the extra family plan. Also it appears to use the cool feature of rotating each family members playlist would require our children to have an emailed linked account which isn’t really possible so while the family plan advertises really cool features they may not be very practical for most families.

SHUFFLE PLEASE. I mostly enjoy this app even though I am way to old for it (14) my parents are just extremely strict. But I make playlists on my moms phone and share them to my account. The only problem that I face is THERE IS NO SHUFFLE BUTTON!! I really really want this shuffle option. I can’t imagine it’s that hard to add. The app could use a lot more improvement but I would really appreciate a shuffle option for my “favorite playlist” and for my shared playlists. PLEASE ADD!!

Needs more music choices. I tried this out of Curiosity, and found out it has some issues. First of all, I think you should be able to make playlist with the music they have on the app. I also think they’re should be more music, like maybe clean music to a specific song. Instead of not putting the song overall. I think this could be a great app for kids, but you do need a little bit more updates.

Lacking in parental controls. Overall I am reasonably impressed. It has a bunch of prebuilt mixes that work well for children. However, I wish there were more parental controls. For example, I don’t really think Taylor Swift’s Shake it off is appropriate for a six year old, even if it is sung by children. It takes the Lords name in vain and says “hella”. Not something I want my child picking up on. If I could remove this song from the sets, that would be one thing, but I can’t. I’m limited to the prebuilt playlists without being able to change them. It’s a good first step and the idea is something I’ve wanted for a long time, but it’s clearly in its infancy with a lot of room for improvement. I hope it gets the chance to do so.

Downloadable. Ok so let me first say that this app is good, and I use it every day,(probably) and I love to use it, but I have a complaint. So we found out about this awesome songs (mostly Hamilton) but some of the songs have like 1 or to words that shouldn’t be in there, if you know what I mean, but my parents are fine with us listening to the songs, but the problem is that there are only THREE of the songs on there!!! Soo my parents have tried to get the rest of the songs on my playlist, but it won’t let them!! Please fix this, because I love listening to MY music, but some of it is not on here 🥺, so please fix this, overall though, great app! Definitely download!! Thanks for reading my review!

PLEASE AD ANIME STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Well first of all it’s great but I think it needs more variety. Like for kids that love anime (like me) like sailor moon,spirited away and howls moving castle (and of course my favorite Naruto) I’m watching the Naruto Series right now and I love it so much I’m watching in Japanese it used to be dubs but I got to a certain point and now it’s not dubbed it’s subbed well I’m getting off track 😅. Just please consider what I just said.

Great! 👍🏻. What’s with these other reviews? I love this app. And some people have been rude about religion in other reviews. Love the fact we can play Christian music on this with songs from movies as well like ZOMBIES, Descendants, literary almost anything that’s appropriate for kids just wish we didn’t have to pay but I know that prices of anything won’t come down any time soon. So don’t be fooled by other reviews, this app is amazing! And to be clear this is coming from the kid not the parent.

Great app but minor bug. Ok i love this app so much but mine has this bug that makes the bottom songs in my faves and it’s just really is annoying and more Hamilton I know some of the songs have bad words in them but maybe we could put satisfied and helpless in the mix but please fix the bug at the most part also MORE Sonic please

Here I am again……. So I really need some very important songs these are the songs that kept me ALIVE I really need heart shaped box nirvana. And come on add some for metallic I’m going to a concert and I need and I can’t even listen to them. And add some more hole songs. Well also add more nirvana and undone by weezer. Suggestion. Hello! I do like you’re app but, when I tried to find something I couldn’t find it and I felt that this suggestion needed to be heard. I am asking for podcasts, I thought that I saw some, but I didn’t. I would really like some podcasts to listen to while drawing or while in the car. If u do this I will feel happy! Plz add more songs!!!. Ok to be honest I like this music app... But here’s the thing you gotta add more new updated songs like all the Harry styles ones, Taylor Swift ones, Justin Bieber, Lizo, and all those other new songs!!! It’s so disappointing because I only get to hear those songs on my radio and in the car but sometimes I don’t have those things and it’s really disappointing because I cannot listen to my favorite songs sometimes. Useless. With a wildly limited list of songs available this app couldn’t be more useless. Unless your kids just want to listen Katy Perry or something, there is not much here. I then found out that you can share playlists you’ve created for your child using the app, however these won’t work offline and there is not option to download (heart) these songs unless they are in the extremely limited selection already available.

Long time waiting. I think this app has been a long time coming and love it. One more thing missing..... can’t seem to cast it to my google home speaker!!! Or play it through google home app

Not working on IPod Touch. Hi, can you please look into why this isn’t working on my daughters iPod Touch 6th generation. It just comes up with something when wrong try again.

Why do you have to pay. Ok like come on surely you can just let your kids listen to music without bad language in it for free right? Like why it’s just not necessary and they just want your money.

Shuffle Button?. Would be better if my kids could shuffle their playlists. Love the option to share playlists we curate for them but the lack of shuffle button is very annoying!

Excited but want more. I was so happy to have an account for the kid. However, I’d love to see more functionality- particularly an ability to make different playlists (other than just favourites). We still have to use my account for all the kid-friendly playlists I’ve created. I was hoping 2020 might be the year where “your year in review” is in fact all my tracks!

Why pay? Everyone deserves to listen to music!. When I went in the app it instantly asks me to if I want premium and without premium you can’t do anything!

Music suggestions are hit and miss. In terms of functionality, the app seems fine but there are clearly some bugs in the algorithm that generates the playlists. The app suggested songs by Whitney Houston and Lil Nas among others that are a long way from Playschool and the Wiggles which is what we usually listen to.

It works. First l needed a kid friendly app so l found this app so I downloaded it on my kids iPad. So now my kids are now playing music and singing.

Not enough songs😢. Most playlist and we have 1-100 song when the person/band has about 1000.

Facebook login?. I would like to use the app however there is no option to log in via Facebook, which is normally how I access my family account. Can you please add the option to do so?

It is absolutely amazing. This app is so good I’m a 9 year old and it has all the music you want I totally recommend this app

Not fit for purpose. Only one adult (plan manager) can log into the kids app. We are a two parent family - it would be good to be able to allow another member to log in. Our child doesn’t have their own device so we play music for them from our own. A poor user experience.

No Facebook login. Great idea but app was released without standard Facebook login so I’m unable to login.

Useless if Family Account is full. Requires you to use one of the six accounts in your family account so if you have all six accounts used then you cannot use this. Doesn’t provide an alternative other than to kick someone off your family account to make way for the kids account.

Request. It was a good app but my daughter is 11 and can’t find much songs. Would you be able to have a bit more older kid options. And would you be able to make a playlist not just my favourite playlist it’s getting annoying. Otherwise really good set up love the bright colours and the songs are great.

Poorly developed app for kids. This version is missing many features of the original app, in particular no way to download music makes this app completely useless on a plane.

Kids relaxing bedtime music. Really wish there was more relaxing music for kids bedtime. There only is a few that replay all night.

No Facebook login. I have a premium account but have it set up to login using Facebook. Unfortunately this app doesn’t seem to account for that as there’s no Facebook login option.

Worst app ever. This is the worst app ever it has no good music only old boring music that no one likes if you want kids to like it then put high energy dance music on there. 0 out of 10 would never recommend to anyone.

Missing crucial info…time!. Good concept but none of the songs or stories tell you how long they go for. I set the kids up listening to stories but some are less than 5 minutes. Easy fix would be to add the time like every other music listening app that has ever been created. Why would this even be left off???

A good MVP. It’s a good start to the app. The login options should be the same, so you don’t have to reset your password if you logged in via FB for example. If your not allowing access to playlists, there should be a way for parents to add content to their kids account from their playlists (many of us would have kids playlists already setup) also vice versa, be able to see kids favourites on parent account to add songs to their playlists

Disappointing. Great app potentially, but without carplay or sonos integration it’s useless to me and i presume a lot of others!

Good except a glitch. It was perfect for the kids until suddenly one day songs would only play on shuffle... I seem to be the only person with this problem tho

Not good enough. I was excited about the app and quickly set up the kids. The colors and bold simplicity is quite nice. However a couple drawbacks... first I saw some playlists that didn’t fit our family. This was my first issue so I figured out that you can block content but only played content. So I had to play every item in the playlist🙄 when I would have preferred to not have to play it to block it, also to have the option to block the whole playlist if need be. The second issue I encountered was finding the music the kids really like. The artist ScratchGarden could not be found. And then Koo Koo Kanga Roo... I found it but the song list was ridiculously limited. And that was it for me. And like another user said... I want to be able to create my own playlists. So I’m deleting and setting up a regular account for them. I pay too much money for premium service, to use such a limited account, even if it is for kids.

I didn’t even spend 30 seconds on it!. This is TERRIBLE. I’m only young so I downloaded this app thinking “ Oh, cool I never new there was this app!” But to be honest, I wish I still didn’t know it existed. So, when I realised that you needed a “Family premium ,” or what ever I deleted this app STRAIT AWAY! I DO NOT recommend.

Let the parents control the content. Appreciate what you guys are trying to do here but after setting this up today I’m seriously considering switching to Apple Music. And that’s saying a lot because I love Spotify. If you insist on using a kids app, you need to add controls so the parents can set what their kids can access based on ratings instead of censoring it yourself. I personally am not one of those people that cringes at the thought my kids might hear something that the censors decided they don’t want them to. Leave the parenting to the parents. Other option is just use your regular app and add parental controls. My kids certainly don’t need the goofy avatars and the giant icons. I want to like this - I really do but you guys really need to open things up so my kids have some choices that I can control and monitor myself. Hopefully this feedback is constructive - it’s intended to be.

Wow absolute worst music app. Incredibly basic, no ability to customize playlists, search for songs, can’t remove the default playlists so 12 year olds are stuck with the nursery rhymes playlist. This is such junk. Furious that I upgraded to a family account just for this.

Half an app. I download this app looking for a solution to myself and my two young kids (5 and almost 2) sharing the same Spotify account. I was really excited to see that the existing playlists I created for each of them could be easily shared to the kids app, but the fact that this app can’t cast to their Google home speakers makes it useless to us. No shuffle or repeat options for playlists either. Why not just build kids features into the regular Spotify app so we don’t lose the feature set? Why try to reinvent the wheel here?

As a parent, I love this!. As a family we have a Premium membership! With 2 older kids and one 5 year old, this is the perfect solution! I get that the younger kids give a bad review on their own, because they can’t do anything with it. But if you have a membership as a family this is a very nice addition. I don’t have to worry about explicit songs/ content and she still can listen to whatever she likes. Everything is there for a young girl that loves music! I give 4 stars, because there’s always room for improvement.

I signed up for premium family just to get this, it turns out that the song selection is just a fraction of what is on Spotify, you can’t make playlists and there are no podcasts for kids. It seems to be made to cater to kids under age 5, but I think my 8-year old will be needing a regular account after all.

And you also have to have a real Spotify account not a kid account to even USE the app come on guys I think my parents will just have to let me get real Spotify not this garbage. No easy sharing. I have had Spotify Premium for years and finally downloaded this app and switched my account to Premium Family after the main app has been nagging me for a while, to get the kids music out of my library. I am very disappointed to see that I can’t even easily get my child’s favorite music into the kids app now, as it is heavily censored. Nowhere did it say that if I switched to Family my kids wouldn’t have access to the whole catalog, without creating my own playlists. Based on my experience with another popular streaming app, I would have expected a simple “Share with kids” option.

It is a rip off of the real Spotify app that I have. It is not as great as I thought it would be

Pretty bad. I thought this would be a great solution for sharing quality music with my kids and keeping him away from the inappropriate stuff. Well, sharing simply does not work! Unless the playlist is public (had to do some digging to figure that out). And my kids can’t search for the music they like. We were all optimistic at first but now they’re begging me to bring back the old Spotify and I can’t blame them. I really expected better. The problem doesn’t seem too complicated solve.

Sign up loop. You can’t sign your child up if you as premium plan owner use a social login like Facebook and you can’t sign up a child under 12 for the regular app.

PLEASE AD ANIME STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Well first of all it’s great but I think it needs more variety. Like for kids that love anime (like me) like sailor moon,spirited away and howls moving castle (and of course my favorite Naruto) I’m watching the Naruto Series right now and I love it so much I’m watching in Japanese it used to be dubs but I got to a certain point and now it’s not dubbed it’s subbed well I’m getting off track 😅. Just please consider what I just said.

Completely drains batteries in no time. I started a playlist with 95% battery left on my iPhone Xr. Even with the screen off, it completely wiped out the battery (0% left) in 3.5 hrs of play (have a screenshot of the battery screen). I cut off less than halfway through the night for my 3yr old daughter's lulliby playlist. I don't know how that's possible considering streaming shouldn't be using that much power in the background with the screen off. But I'd suggest the app creators look at power consumption and get this a lot more optimized.

So much hope...so many failures. I have hoped for a way to separate my child’s music from mine for years so that it will stop ruining all the algorithms in my account. I was so excited about this app! Alas, it is horrible. No way to move the playlists we’ve spent years creating. No access to lots of music he loves that is family-friendly just because it’s not “kids” music 🙄. And no way to cast to a Sonos or Alexa make this pretty useless. Time to look for a new way to stream...

No. I only put five stars so people would see It needs a lot more variety and when new kid friendly songs get onto the app it’s like a year later witch is hard to wait.

A for effort.. Super excited to have my kids try it out. But right off the bat, they were annoyed, as was I, that they weren’t able to make their own playlists. And couldn’t listen to songs that they were searching for. Maybe because they were “adult songs”? In any case, looking forward to the next update where some of these issues have been ironed out.

More songs. I find songs I like but there is this rapper named NF and in ALL his songs he does not say bad words but I kinda understand why most of his songs aren’t there but please add more of his songs on there. Variety. So I like listening to Lizzo and some of her songs are not inappropriate you really should let the parents chose what playlists their children listen to all the playlists are Disney and kiddde stuff. Hope this gets added<3

Great App. Guided Access Issues. The app is GREAT! but it has an issue with Guided Access mode wherein it will eventually stop loading songs. This is easily remedied by turning off guided access, killing the app, and restarting. But it sure would great to see this defect fixed.

Can’t get past character selection screen. Keep getting an error message. Is it because my phone is older? Edit: To be fair, my 6 plus is at the end of its life. Edit: Now it’s working. Sometimes I get...impatient!

Shared playlists. I have playlists that I created with my kids on my account. There doesn’t appear to be a way for me to migrate them over to this app. I appreciate the idea of giving kids control of their choices, but wish there was a way to share the playlists that we already made. My only other option appears to be to create a new standard account. But I need a separate email for it, and I can’t tell if the content controls are as good.

As a kid I’m 10 years old and I have my own email and password and I type it in but it won’t let me in , then I press forget password and login and I don’t have emails and it’s just trying a different method I would appreciate if it just logged me in with no extra verification thank you ! Decent Features, but missing Chromecast support. Clean, straightforward interface. I was disappointed to not see any form of Chromecast support. I have a small speaker in my child’s room and would’ve liked to let it play on there while he goes to sleep

Doesn’t have all the songs I wanna listen to😞. This app does not have a lot of songs you wanna listen to like the new Wonka songs there is none of them so it gets really annoying when you want to listen to music and this is the only app you have to listen to music on I definitely don’t recommend this if you want to listen to some fun songs and they don’t have it they only have popular songs😩👎🏼

Playlists. This app is amazing! It’s good for car trips or even falling asleep to. The one thing it needs is playlists. If it had playlists this app would be perfect. I want to have a organized app but without playlists I just can’t! I hope you take this problem into your concern. Thank you!

To much money🤑🙁. I downloaded the app and it looked really great and fun for my 10 year old girl. She listens to Alec Benjamin and billy eilish and a song called death bed. But when I went through titanic said me and my family had to pay 14 dollars. That might not sound like much but I am working at home as a Elementary school art teacher. We do not get paid much.☹️

Good but. This app is the best I always use this just one thing when I had to sign in again there was a song that’s called golden hour (from JVKE) that was new but it not there anymore but other than that keep up the good work.

Needs more option.. First, I would like to be able for my child to have more variety in music. And I also think it should have more options aside from Disney and pop music. And it needs more culture. Favorite music app to listen when i commit genocide!. One of the best most violent and inappropriate music inflicting apps ever! My favorite part was when i burned down my family home listening to this music but a slight 9/10 just need some more songs. It was very useful for getting revenge on my best friend who stole my chick I stabbed him to death!

Need password for kid profile. Obviously not designed by a parent. Each kid can see their siblings profile on family plan. My younger daughter goes into her older brothers kid profile to listen to things that I have restricted on her profile. He frequently complains that she messes with the favorites in his profile. Each child should have a profile password that can be bypassed by the parent password.

Terrible.. First off, when you log in, you have to have premium for an account!!! I just want my little siblings to listen to appropriate music!! I would give this ZERO STARS if I could. I want my siblings to listen to appropriate music, sure, but why can’t this app be made for ALL users? Why just premium users? It’s a complete waste of time. Still can’t log in to even try the app. I have a premium account through my Facebook account. When the app first came out I couldn’t sign in due to that fact and I just put it on the back burner. I happened to go back and saw the app support page had new instructions to address that. Yay! I followed the instructions to log on with out a password by entering my account email and repeatedly received the message that “Oops something went wrong. Try again later.”

Awesome!. I LOVE this app it has amazing songs and my favorite song Sledgehammer by Rihanna it even has Encanto in JAPANESE wow but if u Could add More Rebelde songs that are still kid appropriate for The parents and kids! Thank u so much for taking time to read this Love Kourtney ☺️☺️

Works great, just one idea. I love this app I just have one idea, this app should have an alarm that you can choose any of the songs on this app including any song from your shared albums and use it to wake you up in the morning

Well…. When I was on there I looked up a artist named everglow all there songs are clean but they only have one song and I wanted to use that song for a edit I’m making but it wasn’t on there 😠! And they should stop just blocking songs that have nothing bad in them. And I looked up another artist called twice and they only had the song I wanted fancy in Japanese like???

Wish it was good. The idea of the app is great but it’s not. I saw all of these reviews talking about what needed to change and they even had developers responses. I don’t see any changes. Some of the music they think a 0-6 year old could/should/would listen to is ridiculous. It should be more like the regular app but with large parental controls. The not explicit language is a start but that’s about all you have. I’ll be deleting this app. Maybe I’ll check back in a year and see.

It’s fine. I have some suggestions. Ok I like listening to music and my mom said it’s perfect for me. I’m trying not to sound mean but I cant find songs like Cradles and Grrrls. It makes me a little frustrated. There’s not a lot of songs from video games like undertale and Mario. I would be happy if you added some more song that are from my suggestions and like those. But this app is great. Continue to add songs pls!

Needs more songs. Hey I just wanted to say get some more ugly dolls songs and the dragon rescue riders The Secret of the song wing you need a play list of there songs so I try to rate this app a half star so it’s a star star star star then a half star and if you add these things thank you so that’s all I wanted to say. 😊🤗🙂

No curation ability. This would be a useful app, but there is no ability to bulk curate. I want to slash the entire Spongebob Squarepants playlist, but it’s not possible. Also the only way to block something is to select it from the play history, which means that by the time you can block it, they’ve already heard it, which is really poor design. Let us build specific playlists and share them to the kids account.

More parental controls. I have an autistic daughter with high anxiety that easily gets stuck on parts of songs. Because of this, I have to be very specific about what she can and cannot listen to. Sorting songs into categories of younger and older kids is fine, but it would be great if I could as a parent limit her to a certain play list that I could add to over time. If this comes in a future update, I’ll re-download but for now it’s not useful for us.

Love this!. I love this so much every road trip I go on I listen to it the whole time! But, there is one thing. I don’t like that it has a lot of different songs but there isn’t a single Melanie Martinez son on here.I am sorry to whine to y’all but that is the truth. Extremely limited. Every time I use this app for my daughter I’m annoyed. It’s nearly useless as it doesn’t let you play whole albums (such as peppa pig stories and songs) or listen to any of the kid podcasts available on the regular app. I got this to free up my own account of all the kid recommendations but that hasn’t happened at all. This app seems to be run almost entirely by Disney and random pop artists.

App is dumb. Change it so you do not have to pay for premium because in one year that would be like 500 in a year so please change that

App choices for older kids.. Hello,I think this is good for kids maybe 0-9 but I saw a lot of comments were other kids like me were frustrated with the choices when I found out your parent/Guardian Can share playlists with you, and it’s super easy too!

Dismal app for kids. What in the world?? This app is so featureless and doesn’t even allow for a kid to create a playlist and add songs to it. It offers canned lists and “favorites” and only allows the parent to create playlists under their account and then you have go to the kids app and allow the kid to see the playlist. Please do better since kids are capable of managing playlists.

AWSOME!. This app is amazing! But there are a few songs that aren’t great for kids. I would also like you to add more church songs! Such as, “ I am a child of god, and and gethsemane. Hope you take this in mind! Thanks!

Thank you so much!. Don’t listen to the haters, perfect for my 6 & 4 year old. No explicit music, all of their favorites. My 6 year old is loving showing his brother his collection of “hearts”. Best of all I don’t have help at all! From one engineer to you all, thank you 🙇

Please fix!. I know that you would like children to listen to appropriate songs for their age, though children from 10+ are getting into other ages music. For example, Kate Bush, Doja Cat, etc. May you add another setting choice? I want it to be that the parents can choose what type of music their children can listen to. Overall, great app and is very appropriate for children ages 8 and down. Thank you if you will add this. Bye 👋

Great for kids music. This app has saved my weekly playlists from having kids music. Thank You! Glad to see the shared playlist is finally working too. I would love to see shuffle be turned off please.

Honestly AMAZING. This app deserves more stars than it currently has (2.7 out of 5) I believe that this app is greatly appropriate for kids (such as myself) and this app is very easy to enjoy 😌😊 and I understand that some people would like to make changes to it but I love it 🐱🐶🐍

Please. Add more video game songs and The Living Tombstone songs. I do love The five nights at Freddy’s song but I like all of them so add more of them made by the living tombstone and other songs from living tombstone. And I want bongo cat. It’s good besides that.

Kids need playlists too. Almost useless without the ability to make your own custom playlists. My kids are young (5 and below), so this is how I keep their songs separate from mine (which are in the adult app). They need me to play their songs/playlists, and I can’t be searching for each song individually. Huge pain.

Why all the bad reviews?. I’m wondering why everyone is saying there’s no “appropriate” music, it’s all good for kids. Nowadays kids don’t like music like baby shark, so chill. It can use a little bit more parent guidances, otherwise I don’t get the fuss about it. As I said before, kids don’t like listening to “baby” music anymore, they like songs like say so and things like that. ITS FOR 4+ ITS APPROPRIATE CHILL

I love this app it’s so convenient and fun but I also LOVE The Lion Guard and I see that there isn’t a lot of songs for The Lion Guard playlist and I love ALL of the songs from the Lion Guard so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put ALL of The Lion Guards songs Please as soon as possible Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and please put ALL the Lion Guards songs on your app Thx ☺️ 😎😁
