Less is more. Truly the Greasemonkey for Safari; I couldn't have asked for anything else when I searched up "Greasemonkey" in the App Store listings. I just hope it stays up. Simple, clean, does what it needs to. Was looking for a replacement for Tampermonkey ever since updating to Catalina; I found Userscripts to work perfectly for the scripts I use like FFZ.

Wonderful application; one request!. Please allow the creation of a new script from the Safari Extension for the current site; that could save so much time.

Clean UI, Almost Perfect. It is super simple to use and have very clean design. Just one issue. There is no way to hide the side bar in the editor that it came with. It really takes up a lot of precious horizontal space when you are working in split screen. So, if you see this, please add a way to hide side bar!

Wonderful. Needed this for Mac Safari! Just the tool to use to run Javascripts on webpages. Easy to install; easy to control; easy to update. Just works. [Question: I have a red badge in the icon in the Safari toolbar. It's saying "1," like I have a pending message or problem, but I can't see anything. What's that for and can I clear it?]

Indispensable. This is one of those apps that you only open once, but that continues to immeasurably improve your quality of life every day afterward. I use this extension to run userscripts that remove sponsored results in Amazon searches, that redirect from horribly formatted fandom.com pages to simple, ad-free BreezeWiki sites, and to improve formatting on various websites. The Safari extension options make it very easy to toggle and update userscripts in-browser too. All in all, an indispensable app.

Finally, the best userscript manager I've used – and for Safari!. I've used many a user script manager since the days I was co-maintained Firefox's GreaseMonkey. but this takes elegance and ease of use to a new level. If this would also run on iOS and iPad, and iCloud sync user scripts between our devices, it would be a dream come true.

Bye Bye tampermonkey. TamperMonkey really showing it's age these days, very laggy UI– it feels like it hasn't changed much since the firefox 0.9 days (if you remember those days). This extension has a much more appealing icon and design, faster UI and editor, and can sync across iCloud drive easily. Fantastic!

Best App for this Reason. I have used a lot of Style / Script apps but this one is the best. The interface and customization options are top-notch but what really makes it so great is the fact that it can sync your styles to iOS!! This is so incredible and the first extension I've ever seen do this well. Absolutely fantastic!

Make YouTube allow downloads and Picture-in-Picture mode, set Reddit pages to auto-reload in the old layout, or use nothing but the space-efficient font Avenir Next Condensed on any/all websites. This extension supercharges the Safari browser to do all that and more. The iOS/iPadOS versions are meant to be companions to the version for macOS, but if you install a text editor like Textastic, you can do everything right on your iPhone/iPad. Free and open-source software. Thank you, generous and hardworking developer, for bringing the power of Greasemonkey to Safari!

Dont use. Didn’t work

Love the app on iOS and iPadOs, but it does not work on the Vision Pro. App is stuck on the informational screen telling me to go into settings to enable the extension under safari settings, and allow on all websites. I have also tried changing the script directory to try to get it working, but when I click the extension icon, it never gets past that popup asking me to go into settings.

Doesn’t work anymore. I used to use Userscripts and one day I decided to turn it off, but then when I wanted to use it again it doesn’t allow me to turn the extension back on. I don’t know if it’s a screen time thing, but I tried deleting the app and re-installing it but it still remains unusable.

Great for WaniKani on iPad. I’ve been studying kanji on WaniKani for over a year now. On my computer I use the Tampermonkey extension to extend and improve the experience of the site. Thanks to Greasemonkey I can now take my iPad and do lessons and reviews on the go while enjoying the extended experience. One suggestion: let me specify the order in which scripts should be loaded. Some scripts depend on others being present (e.g. WaniKani Open Framework) and it would be ideal to set them to load first. Somehow when I refresh the page, I can get the scripts to load correctly, but not always… I wouldn’t mind setting this myself if the option is provided.

no data collection going on. i am new to this stuff but this developer is safe. i was scared ngl. you have the apple badge too. learned that all app store apps should be safe due to rigorous standards and scanning. i used it to modify a website to help me with school. i am also learning programming. i also read his github readme. i dont need to get tamper monkey for free through chrome installation. mac os appstore tamper monkey costs $2. minor, but still inconvenient. this is so good and i get to keep using only safari for m1 optimized mac. thank you developer. you will be successful. i hope you dont sell out when you make it big hahaha. you're so good :D

Good project, but feeling like not complete for beginner. This is an excellent open-source project with a simple interface and completely free. However, the software only has two actions for a certain script, on and off, without further operations. It should be noted that many scripts currently provide more options for specific web pages, such as the option to support single or double columns on search result pages. This software does not provide this function. I guess users need to write their own operations in the script, but for ordinary users, this is very difficult. I hope the developers can take care of beginners and allow ordinary users to further set up script functions on specific web pages.

Userscripts. Absolutely wonderful app that does exactly what it needs to, but as of recently my userscripts won't stay loaded, I have to keep opening the app to reload them.

Huge fan of this extension. I write a lot of UserScripts on both Windows and Mac. I've used all the ...Monkey variants on Windows, and of all the UserScript tools I've used on any platorm, this one is the best. It's a bit of Hobson's choice on iOS since the choices are very limited, but I honestly have no idea what I'd want that this tool doesn't have.

Completely broken on version 4.1.0. Extension disappeared from Safari preferences and will not return after extensive and exhaustive troubleshooting. Very Disappointing.

Shows a distracting notification dot. The extension adds a blue dot to the Safari address bar.

Not accurate. I downloaded this to see the number of dislikes on a YouTube video but it is not accurate. It’s great to get a general idea of how a video is doing but it showed a video on my channel got 22 dislikes but in reality my account shows that video didn’t get any dislikes at all. Could be the algorithms it uses to guesstimate the numbers are limiting.

Solid, Simple, Minimalistic. It’s missing a lot of the features you’d see on userscript managers on desktop browsers, but this app does exactly what it says and it does everything very well. No bugs afaik. Good injection, never had any issues with scripts overlapping incorrectly.

Nope. Doesn't work for me.. I thought I would replace Tampermonkey, so I installed this extension in both Safari and Safari Technology Preview. In neither app does this app recognize the scripts i'm trying to install. Back to Tampermonkey for me.

Exellent tool. Much better than TamperMonkey for Safari (TamperMonkey is fairly useless since does not support domains with CSP). Userscripts is clean, modern, and works everywhere!

It really works. This tool is really good. I tried this to install some user scripts for a site but for whatever reason, after reading a few posts, I bought tampermonkey thinking it is paid so might work better. Well it didn't work and back to this app. Anyways now I am trying to find a way to donate. How do I donate, please take my money.

Excellent Safari Extension. Thanks to this extension I was able to run javascript from Return Youtube Dislikes and get the dislike button back.

please help me fix. so this app is really great. I love it but ever since I got a new phone for some reason I cannot use the Userscripts because every time I tried to download something or use it says (failed to load user of data) if you guys get a chance please tell me how to fix it. I need this week because none other ones work.

It does what it says. Only better.. A great alternative to TamperMonkey which is basically unsupported/abandoned on Safari (despite being a paid product). The UI and editor is miles better than TM. Thank you to the authors for this excellent extension!

A way to run userscripts in a post-tampermonkey world. With the removal of extensions in Safari 13, I was suffering without my userscripts. This simple app has completely saved the day. You'll end up having to combine your scripts into one mega script and add some extra logic to detect the site and execute the proper code, but it totally works. And the fact that there is syntax highlighting and auto-complete is awesome!
