Roborock Comments & Reviews 2026

The absolute BEST!!!. I went through three replacements of both the Roomba Combo 10 and its dock, and it still never worked properly. The bins repeatedly failed, and the robot itself was unreliable from the start. After dealing with constant issues, I finally gave up and returned it, without a refund or even an apology from the company. I switched to the Roborock Saros 10R, and the difference is night and day. It cleans exceptionally well, runs quietly, and is priced reasonably for the performance. The software is significantly better, intuitive, responsive, and easy to set up. Both vacuuming and mopping have been completely reliable. This has been a seamless experience from day one. Strong recommendation for anyone looking for a dependable, high-performing robot vacuum. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I fired my housekeeper from cleaning my floor floors. I live in a 6000 square-foot house with mostly hardwood floors tile and some carpet. I just got this machine over Black Friday so I’ve recommend getting it on sale when it’s around 800 and $900. Today I just tried it after the housekeepers had left in an area where there’s not a lot of traffic. The cleaned floors weren’t really clean the tank was full of black water. The only complaint I have is I do not sell the docking so if you have a large enough house like me, you’ll have to pick up the docking station empty and bring it to another floor. I love this machine already. My sister is incredibly jealous because she has a Roomba that is very loud when the mop head is cleaned. The loudest part of this machine is when it’s sucking up all the water into the dirty tank. Only thing they can improve on providing more mop heads with the set.

Seems wonderful. I really like this item. I have not been using it long so I can only base this on what I have done so far. I have 5 dogs and a cat! I do NOT have carpet in my house. However when I can see what this thing picks up on my floors I am very glad I do not have carpet. It does a better job sweeping and vacuuming than we did. The mopping is pretty good if you don’t have any tough stains. However, if you lift anything stuck to the floor hard, then it will finish the job. If I had a request for improvement, I suppose it would be that the mopping switch to a little scrubbing when needed, but that might require additional sensors and scrubbers etc. this works well enough to save me money on other products and it saves tons of time cleaning up after pets with hair and dirt. As far as ease of use, I would say that it took me a minute to figure out how to configure room spaces. But I didn’t worry about this first. I just started using it and then sort of figured other things out as I went. It does require some fiddling with the app on the phone until you get it. I did not find it so hard that I needed customer service support. There’s not a lot of assembly. I use the cleaner it calls for and it came quickly. Because I have so many pets, it does get things caught in the spools after quite some vacuuming. I have had other robot vacuums and this was much less likely to get jammed and when it did it was far easier to deal with. It was super easy and was less then 5 minutes. I was also pleasantly surprised by the battery life. I am not paid by the company or anyone else. I’m just a normal person with pets who can’t keep up with the vacuuming needs. For those people who have floors and no carpet, I think this is a good buy. I am not providing a negative review about its use on carpet. I just don’t have it. Someone else should comment on that.

Never Stays Connected to WIFI more than 2 or 3 days.. I’ve had the S5max for over a year now and it started losing the wifi signal with the first upgrade, then with every update and could not reconnect to wifi without going thru hoops and a lot of stupid stuff. I contact support, I have to say they are good at responding BUT NOTHING THEY SAY WORKS! I’ve removed the app, and device wait an hour sometime 24 hours, download everything again try to reconnect NOTHING. Everything in my house connected to WIFI stays connected but this thing. I’ve been trying for over a week THIS TIME to get it reconnected and nothing. I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN. I’m sorry I really liked at the beginning but when they do firmware updates this vacuum can’t take and gets all hosed up. RGHT NOW I HAVE A MIND TO JUST THROW IN THE GARBAGE and I spent almost $600 to go thru this nightmare.

A husbands review. I purchased the Roborock S8 Ultra Pro. It took a little convincing my wife to except the cost of it, however the value was the key. My wife runs a retail store and is busy from morning until night. She didn’t have any time for regular floor cleaning and honestly it showed. We have hardwood floors throughout our home except for the bedroom rooms. I have the cleanest floor I’ve ever seen now everyday, even before she became busy. Best purchase of my marriage LOL, who would have thought a vacuum cleaner and mop robot would be the best gift ever. All fun aside, truly a great floor cleaner and very easy to manage. It is definitely worth the cost in time for everyone.

Solid products and great support. I’ve used the app with my S4 Max for a few years now and it’s been great. I’ve been able to set a schedule and pretty much forget about it. I just saw the Q5 system with the auto-empty bin and went ahead and ordered that as well since I’ve had such good luck with my Roborock S4 Max. Within just a few days of ordering I noticed that the device went on sale and contacted the sales team to see if I might be able to get a credit. Without even asking a question, their team gave me a credit for the difference and responded back extremely quickly to let me know they processed the refund. I’ve impressed with the app, the products, and the support and can easily recommend Roborock to anyone.

Missing key features - map restore should let user select which date/map to restore to. Overall, it’s a good app, but it lacks several key features. For instance, my floor plan is complex, and the robot often mistakenly identifies its location on the map, thinking it's at location B when it's actually at location A. As a result, it returns to the dock and incorrectly marks the dock's position on the map. The app should allow users to interact with the map—for example, to delete the dock and let the robot detect and reposition itself. Even better, it could let users manually mark the dock location on the map, with the robot fine-tuning the position afterward. Correcting the dock’s position through repeated attempts, hoping the robot will eventually locate itself correctly, is both frustrating and tedious.

Failed after a week. Horrible customer service.. I was excited to receive my Roborock, and after mapping my one-bedroom apartment (which took a few tries), it worked great at first. I do wish the vacuum and mop functions were separate, but running them individually worked fine. Unfortunately, the unit stopped working after about a week. When I contacted customer service, the representative immediately started filing a claim instead of troubleshooting. She didn’t ask about error codes or details of the issue. Even after I politely asked for help understanding the problem first, she brushed it off. When I said I needed more assistance, she sighed and just sent me a pamphlet to read myself. At that point, I lost patience trying to get help. I was fine with replacing the unit, but the poor customer service and early failure left a bad impression. I won’t be purchasing their products again.

I love it. I’m so obsessed, I’ve attempted to convince everyone I meet to buy one. Talking about dogs? Houses? Food? Sickly grandma? The weather? Work? I don’t care what the conversation is, I’m gonna somehow try to convince you the Roborock will help you with it plus some more. If I could afford it, I’d hand them out as Christmas stocking stuffers. In fact, every time it goes on sale, I send the link to people to try and convince them to buy one. Although I’m extremely disappointed Black Friday didn’t make me want to fight someone for one, I am still happy with my purchase. I am convinced if this thing could go up and down the stairs, it would be the ultimate floor cleaning weapon that would also scare all burglars as I haunt them from my tiny robot vacuum. I regret nothing about my purchase. You should get one. Seriously. I take a nap and my floors are clean. Does a better job than my husband even if it doesn’t get the corners. (Don’t forget the specific brand cleaner. It’ll void your warranty if you use any others).

Excellent Product, a few suggestions. This is an excellent upgrade from our 15 year old roomba, and it is well used in our home. The app is intuitively structured, easy to use, and works and connects like a charm. The robot itself is well engineered, and cleans well. A few suggestions I think would be useful to everyone is the ability to set a zone where obstacle avoidance is higher or lower, for customizable and safe cleaning in that location. Additionally, having the ability to prioritize rooms and zones to clean, or set an order in which it follows will be extraordinary helpful for an even smarter and more practical clean. Overall, this robot and app is an amazing investment that you will feel the effects of as soon as you start its first clean! Well done Roborock!

Gets stuck, slow, very loud. The vacuum actually works very well. Suctioning is great, picks up great, and it’s easy to use. It’s very loud on its highest setting. Yes it’s on it’s highest setting but I really only want it to work at its best when running it. That’s why I paid so much. It probably gets stuck 40% of the time. It does have to recharge before finishing just one floor of the house. It does however, resume after it finishes charging. It can take a couple of minutes before it starts moving to try and find it’s docking station. I would think it would be able to go home immediately like some of it’s competitors that are half the price. Overall it’s not a bad vacuum at all. Just a few things I would have thought to be better at this price point.

Better than Expected. Worth every penny. The Roborock S-7 doesn’t a remarkable job. I live in a rural area I have a white kitchen floor, a cat and a dog. My dog comes in with orange clay under his feet every time it rains. Impossible to keep up with using a regular mop and vacuum cleaner. I put the Roborock through a real test. The morning after the rain and the stains were dry. I added warm water to the reservoir. And wet the mop pad with warm water. Then I started to Roborock. I said the cleaning to the highest level. I watched it to go across some tough stains but after it all the room was remarkably clean. Don’t wait when you catch a good sale, grab it. It is worth every penny wouldn’t trade it for the world. P. S. The vacuum cleaner does a good job too. It seems to restore life into all carpet.

Worked Amazing Until Updates, Now Worthless. Arrived, took out of box, setup, created maps. It worked like a dream. I quickly fell in love with my new favourite item!! Used every day. Then, came firmware update. Disaster. Could no longer use a basic map without unable to find map error, then crashes into everything. I have tried 4 days in a row... it spends an hour crashing, getting lost, can’t even find dock when I’ve had enough and pull out my vacuum and mop. Then, did software update. Now a password on my account. I entered password used during setup... not valid. Tried phone login... not valid.... so not only will the machine not work, the app won’t either. This unit is less than one month old. I want to know how a company could take my dream product and destroy it so fast. Still in gov’t lockdown, so will be taking to an authorised dealer as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you have a working unit, don’t update this app or the firmware unless you cherish a non-working unit.

Almost Fabulous. I bought the Roborock S7MaxV as a gift to myself. It was a splurge! It was easy to set up. The floor mopping does an incredible job if I ask it to x2. I found it left streaks on the x1 setting. It is pretty quiet and does a great job avoiding tangles. It got stuck once, but knew just where to pick up once I helped it get unstuck. It is gentle with my furniture and my skittish cat is even ok with it. My only problem is the carpets. It picks up debris on the top, gets some cat hair and fluffs the carpet to give it a freshened look. After several weeks, there is very little in the bag. When I vacum by hand I get a lot of hair and stuff up and have to empty the bin at least two times. Maybe some bristles on the brush would help. Overall, it has been a big time saver.

Whew!. As a person with allergies, I’m especially happy to be able to fully clean under my huge bed and cabinets without having to personally come into contact with the dust! It takes a little time to fully set up, but I can really just use it straight out of the box and get more detailed as I go. When there’s an issue, which is rare, it lets me know via the app. I have the G10S model on China, and my only wish is that I could change the language of the robot itself. I’m sure it’ll help me with my Mandarin listening skills, but I would love to hear it speak English! Currently, I can change the app language but not the robot language.

The best money I ever spent. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Roborock S7 Max V ULTRA and my Roborock S7 Max V! (Yes, two units.) We have a large house with two dogs that leave such a mess-between all the hair they shed, water slopped on the floor and tracking in dirty feet. Vacuuming and mopping became the chore I hated doing. We just installed LVP floors to make cleaning floors easier and invested in our Roborock to turn that awful chore into one less arduous thing for me to deal with. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the performance of our Roborocks and the easy to navigate app to control how and when we clean our floors. Since we haven’t had “Myrtle” and “Gertie” very long, we have no complaints and haven’t run into any trouble with either unit. Based on the several times I used them to date, I wholeheartedly recommend Roborock and feel it was money very well spent!

Lots of features, good interaction with robot. The app does well with the S7 MaxV and I enjoy most of the options. Though since the robot itself doesn’t have a sensor for full dust bin it would be nice if there was a setting to have the robot go back and empty itself (since I have the self emptying dock). Currently you either have to suspend the job, have the robot go back then start a new cleaning job (which wouldn’t clean everything then and take more time) OR I have to manually empty the dustbin which then leaves a mess of its own on the floor for the robot to clean up. I see a setting in the app for emptying but I’m not sure what it does. I have it set to the max but it doesn’t empty until it goes home…

A few glitches, but overall a very useful app. I have now owned an S8 Pro Ultra for about two weeks, and so far, overall, I’m loving both the robot and the app. The combination has gotten/kept my house cleaner than it’s been in a long time. I’m generally very pleased with the functionality and usability of the app. Love the accuracy of the mapping, ability to edit and customize the maps, set no go zones, schedule and customize cleanings, etc. I have noticed glitches in a couple of areas that could use some improvement. Not dealbreakers, but “could be better.” Not sure if these are the app, the firmware, or both. But hopefully some future updates will improve these areas. These are: 1. Some trouble with setting/saving room names. Especially when using a custom name or multiple rooms of the same type (e.g., bathrooms). 2. Multi-level functionality needs some work. Getting the robot to recognize you have switched levels is cumbersome at best, especially if you want to do only selective room cleaning on the new floor. (The app claims there’s a way to tell the robot to switch manually, but damned if I can figure it out.) And, once you get the robot going on the new floor, it will think its dock has moved to that floor also. Etc. This could stand to be a lot smoother. Also, a couple of minor suggestions for small improvements: 1. I’d like to be able to reorder the lists of things like routines and schedules I have created. I have created a few routines as I thought of them. But the order I thought of them is random—would be nice to be able to reorganize the list to, e.g., put the most frequent ones at the top or alphabetize them. 2. Would like to be able to fully delete undesired Siri voice commands. I set up a few originally that I had to replace because they didn’t work right. The app lets me deactivate the bad ones, but I can’t just delete them from the list. Anyway, those nitpicks aside, as of now, I’m very happy with both robot and app.

QRevo pro review after 3 weeks. Not saying it’s perfect but it’s close enough for me ! I’m impressed ! We have animals , keep a sort of clean house , and short on time most days. ( like everyone else lol) I run it everyday while I’m away - and at first, a few times it has got stuck on something . So I made a few adjustments to those things ( picked up or moved things- not many either) ) and now is smooth sailing . Also checked out my mop pads a day or two ago and after about 3 weeks of use they are so clean . The washing and drying capability of the mop pads is passed expectations! Also like that you can use app and set zones, routines, set intensity of vacuum and water flow for mop. Set timers etc. pretty cool. I’m just very pleased …. It is expensive but worth it ! Easy peasy floor clean hack!! 1500 sq ft house , single story btw.

UX can be improved quite a bit. A little rough around the edges when it comes to the onboarding flow. You are presented with a login screen without information on how to register. Once you figure that out, the app launches you into an interface that doesn’t have a walkthrough on how to use the app and lets you vacuum or mop (or both) without creating a map first. If you do that, the vacuum struggles around like a drunk person as it figures out the layout of your house while also trying to vacuum and/or mop. Instead, there is an option to create a map within the app that scans your hope without vacuuming or mopping first, and once you mark your furnitures and no-go zones (again you’ve to figure those out on your own), it does a much better job of vacuuming and mopping as it now understands the layout much better. Also, hard to understand why one would insert a janky website as the first tab of the app!

Love the vacuum!. This is definitely one of the best things I’ve ever bought for our house! Every morning at 8:30, it vacuums the whole first floor. We have a dog, and she sheds- a lot. This vacuum does a great job of picking up her very fine fur off the hardwood floors and from the rugs. To test it, have vacuumed with my regular Dyson two times on Saturdays. It hardly picked up anything, where I used to have to empty it after cleaning the family room floor and rugs. It’s amazing! I tried the mop, it does a decent job, but missed a few dried spills that someone left taking food off the stove and to or from the fridge (3 boys at home - enough said 😆). It can’t distinguish between the hardwood/tile and rugs and mops the rugs. It doesn’t soak them, but they’re definitely damp when it finishes. I think two rotating heads would be better than the stationary mop pad that it has, but it’s better than nothing. I wish it had a “find me” function Today it was caught in my office on a charging cable. We had to hunt around the house to find it. Having it make a continuous signal when it gets stuck would be a good feature to add. I love that it empties itself and the bag last at least 2 weeks in our house, and that’s vacuuming every day. It does a nice job negotiating tight spaces and can usually figure out how to get out. I’m seriously considering getting another one for upstairs, which doesn’t get as dirty, but there’s a much higher chance of it getting stuck because things are left on floors. Untangling is simple, but delays cleaning and wastes the battery. Overall, I love it and would recommend it.

Life Changer! It’s no joke!. We have five dogs. We were exhausted from trying to keep up with the dog hair on the floors. We owned another robot vacuum years ago but it was constantly getting stuck under furniture and not very effective. Recently, I text ALL my friends to ask I they had a recommendation for one that WORKS GREAT on dog hair. Hands down, RoboRock was their top pick. I can’t tell you the difference it has made in our home. We joke that it feels like we have a live-in maid. This review would be a book if I talked about how great it’s been for us. Powerful! Quiet! Effective! The self-emptying canister is a game changer too! WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thank you RoboRock for making our lives easier.

Best robot vac company hands down!. Got the Edge 5SA during prime a nice upgrade from the version in Costco warehouses. Really like the additional features of edge cleaning and higher suction power. The app is really good but I’ve noticed that for this model there isn’t a way to change from meters to feet. The other one was no problem but I’m guessing it’s an over sight on the developer’s side. Hope they fix it soon. The only other thing I wish they would do that nobody else is doing is make a version that utilizes the entire iPad screen. Zooming in and out all the time is ok but you guys could make it so much easier on an iPad. Go ahead and set the standard for others to follow again! PLEASE?!?!?!

Idiotic app and robot. When I first bought my S7 it worked great. I let it do its thing and learn my house, to include two additional “floors” that it can’t access from the main station directly. Meaning I have to place it in those locations. Recently however, updates to the app have rendered this thing mostly useless. I ask it to clean a room and it leaves the dock and immediately teleports itself to another location on the map- along with the dock location. Even though it’s physically sitting in my kitchen, it now thinks it’s in a bedroom. Never mind the walls in front of it on the map, it happily rewrites the map as it moves about unhindered. Next, I physically pick up the robot and move it two feet. NOW it realizes it’s in the kitchen… but the map in my bedroom has been butchered and the location of the dock is forever in the eating place now. Even if I set the stupid vacuum directly in front of the dock, it starts driving back to the bedroom. Even if I drive the vac directly onto the charging pad IN THE KITCHEN, once it realizes it’s charging it teleports itself to the bedroom. Idiot programmers have ruined this hardware.

Need a feature to add rooms on the go. Lacks 3 critical features 1. When cleaning room by room, being able to “queue” new rooms on the go is a must. 2. Room limit in the map settings (I believe 10) is a joke. My house have more rooms/areas and I can assign them all. 2.1 Separating rooms was very difficult, and tricky. I needed to split certain rooms temporarily to be able to sculpt them to perfection (otherwise it wasn’t working). But I didn’t reflect this into my score since I was able to accomplish it somehow. 3. Liquid level isn’t displayed in the app. Even if it can’t show the liquid level, it should at least show a sign when it’s empty. Response to response: I have the latest model (S7+) and I can’t add rooms while it’s working. Also, it tells me 10 rooms is the max. Nothing in this response is the reality for me. I have the latest app version FYI.

Works great! Siri commands & LiDAR make this tops in my book.. We wanted to get a robot vacuum after adding a puppy to our house. There are so many on the market, it’s hard to know which is the best (and not just because an influencer peddled it on IG). I had 4 requirements: Great battery, powerful suction (replacing weekly Dyson use), LiDAR for room mapping (no barrier tape), Siri command support. We bought the S6 MaxV and it nails all 4. After mapping I decided which rooms I wanted vacuumed daily (mind blowing how much dust it picks up every day...and our house is clean!!!). After a few different combinations, I chose the key carpeted and hardwood floors that get heavy traffic every day (1,025 sq ft). The other rooms were put on a full floor clean once a week (1,400 sq ft). It takes about 100 minutes to do the cleaning, and this finishes without returning to charge. The full clean needs to charge once. A charge requires it to be at 80% before it will resume. A great feature would be to use usage data to estimate the required charging needed to complete the clean and resume sooner. Charging to 80% from 20% (its stop point) takes about 3-4 hours, so planning around the robot on full floor cleans is something to figure out. Lastly, Siri commands are great. I created one for selectively vacuuming each room as well as the entire floor. These use the Siri commands interface in the app. I was able to initiate a room cleaning via my HomePod, but my wife was not. I might have to create the Siri commands on her phone as well (even though we are signed into the same Roborock account on our phones). I’m guessing this will add them to her voice profile on the HomePods. We love this product. The app is very feature rich, and just fun to watch. The streaming video during cleaning is a fun bonus. Opportunities for improvement: Smart re-charging, multi-users, more English voices to choose from.

App needs a little cleanup. The Roborock vacuum itself is excellent. The app, however, feels like it’s still figuring out what it wants to be when it grows up. 1. The Official Store tab has commitment issues. There are buttons to agree or disagree with the terms and conditions. They just… don’t do anything. I can tap them confidently, repeatedly, and with great hope but nothing happens. So this entire section is essentially an interactive decoration. 2. Rocky the tooltip is Clippy, but without the follow-through. Rocky pops up to greet me and then immediately becomes emotionally unavailable. No guidance. No explanations. No help. Say what you want about Clippy, but at least he tried to interfere. Rocky just says hi and vanishes. 3. Onboarding feels like a scavenger hunt with no clues. I’m still unclear how to: • Select specific rooms to clean • Set precise no-go zones (they feel more like polite suggestions) • Know when the vacuum is actually finished The app doesn’t clearly guide me through these basics, so I’m left guessing while a very capable robot roams my house. Bottom line: Fantastic hardware paired with an app that assumes I already know what I’m doing. A clearer onboarding flow, more actionable guidance, and a tooltip that actually helps would dramatically improve the experience. The vacuum is smart. The app just needs a little vacuuming itself.

I have owned it for 1 year now and I Love it!. I purchased this vacuum a year ago because we moved into a 2400 sq ft. home with textured tile flooring throughout and pet safe carpet only in the bedrooms. I use it on the whole house everyday. I have one dog ( a black n tan hound…not small and loves to drool) on 2 acres of dirt. I have to change the water approx every 3 days and I also change the mop pad at this time. I use vinegar in the mop water because it keeps the ants out and the smell down. I have had zero problems with it. The dirty water tank doesn’t smell horrible it has not run over any dog messes (I have had dog vomit… happy thanksgiving) This thing is worth every Penny. Work required is minimal, normal water changes, clean mop pads, brushes and sensors . The vacuum app lets me know when it’s time to wipe them off! I don’t even have to think about it, it tells me what it needs. LOVE THIS PRODUCT SO MUCH!!!! Thank you!

Love it!. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t marvel about my Roborock. I’ve named him Spot and he’s my best friend. I can always count on him to get the vacuuming done. He occasionally needs help when he gets stuck under the couch or in a corner where we’ve left something that he can’t get around. But that’s no problem to fix. The app lets me know where to find him and he stops and saves battery until I can come to the rescue. We have moved Spot to all three levels of our home and it’s amazing how much stuff he is able to vacuum up. Almost embarrassing. I follow the maintenance recommendations and did not have any trouble ordering replacement supplies online. Ive recommended Roborock to my friends and coworkers, but you don’t know how great it is until you have one. To be at work, get the message that Spot has started his cleanup is so appreciated, he just does his job without any complaints!

Great robotic product. The Roborock S7 is Sheraton robotic product, consisting of a vacuum and a mopping system combined into one device. The Roborock App allows for dividing an automatically generated map of a single or multilevel home into rooms for selective cleaning. This is a must if a home is large enough to require several battery charges to clean all areas. A section for scheduling allows selection of one or more rooms (or locations) to be cleaned in a group. A great feature is a live map which shows the route that the robot follows, making it easy to monitor the cleaning performance. Likewise, the ability to designate “invisible walls,” “no-go” areas, and the location of rugs and mats greatly customized the functions of the robot. The program allows for great control of the robot. Areas that could be improved: editing the map into different rooms can be somewhat challenging, but it is accomplished by your persistence. You might run into a limitation in the number of rooms permitted, but consolidation of two or more rooms into one area will work around this easily. Lastly, an area can be designated for spot-cleaning, instead of having to clean an entire room. All in all, the Roborock App is a worthy part of a very good robotic vaccuum and mopping product, and I highly recommend it.

Roborock really cleans great!. Since our nes home has predominantly LVP and tile floors throughout, this seemed like a logical choice to keep up with the cleaning. We never had an automated floor cleaning device and can't say enough about how surprising this device cleans even with a shedding dog. The secret is to set a schedule and don't wait too long between cleanings and it will do your whole house. We have one problem area at our twelve foot wide sliders as the vac gets hung up in the track since it's flush with the floors. I have to lay down two strip lengths of 3/8" plywood to keep it from getting hung up, otherwise inserting your furniture in the App it runs flawlessly. Should of bought one years ago but happy we have it now!

Firmware update made a 5 to a 0 in one month. Got my robot in 2019 worked like a dream for years. Loved it cleaned each room as instructed, never disconnected from the wifi went home when it was low on battery, pinged me when maintenance was needed and the voice, it was perfect and the voice was pretty much fluent and soothing. Update comes in late 2021, robot is ramming into everything, getting stuck on nothing, getting lost despite no obstacles, quitting for no reason in one room trying to climb up my chair. removing all the voices, there used to be 8 english, 6 chinese voices, 3 japanese, 4 Spanish, and so much more. Now there’s only one botched english voice that’s gargled and cant even say “cleaning” correctly other voices include only one Spanish option and 9 stupid Chinese versions. My last complaint is why I need a password and account for a vacuum. I only expect it to clean the floor semi decently, and only just recently got over the fact of the stupidity of needing wifi, I wish I could downgrade firmware. Way to ruin something nearly perfect I would give negative stars if i could

waste of time and money, not for pet owners. it’s been about a year since i bought the roborock s8 max ultra and i’ve already had to have it replaced twice, and it is once again broken. why? the lidar is an issue. a single microscopic hair gets in there? have fun trying to use a pen or tweezers to pull it out (if you can find it) because it will not work until you do. the maintenance for this machine has been more exhausting than doing the work myself. i’ve even been sent an extra lidar to repair it with (after many many MANY emails) myself, and i came up with the idea of a plastic wrap cover to keep the hair out, but now it has new unrelated problems. and is out of warranty (since i had to repair it). the app is annoying too since you can’t change anything in the middle of mapping or cleaning. recently it was mapping and couldn’t find the dock so it erased the whole map after like half an hour of needing to supervise it.

Good machine.. My first one of these, so nothing to compare it to. I moved into a converted school classroom apartment with all original hardwood floors with polyurethane coat. This machine maps flawlessly, vacuums well and mops well, too. The wastewater bucket is was filthy after first use even though realtor had cleaned before move in. I do a full clean twice weekly and subsequent wastewater is cleaner and cleaner. I bought this at Costco on a whim and will never go back to vacuuming myself. If this machine lasts, it’ll be one of my best purchases ever. I have an easily frightened cat in the apartment while it runs and she’s already used to it and life’s good.

Rocky rocks. Good lord this thing was expensive, and worth every dime. I had a Roomba 20 yrs ago and bought all the accessories like remote control and hidden wall points, and remember how fun that was. I didn’t research this Roborock much, except to ask ChatGPT what the best was for my needs and it recommended this one, and thankful it got something right. His thing is a beast, strong suction vac and a very surprisingly good mop. The docking station is amazing and sounds like a wind tunnel when emptying the unit. It self washing its own mop pads in the station and has a large easy to deal with reservoir in the docking station for dirt and clean and dirty tanks for mop water. The mapping capability is fun and amazing. It even has a pet locator and camera if you want to view your pets. This thing cleans the floors perfectly, and unlike the Roomba I had you don’t need to put your hands all over its messy parts to untangle pet hair and other gunk. I even use it in our half finished basement which was disgusting but does have some rocks that clogs it but I think it found them all now. The only downside is for multilevel houses, I haven’t learned a way for it to mop without me having to pick it up and bring it back down to put in the docking station for cleaning its pads every fifteen minutes so my solution is to give up and only mop the floor with the docking station. Picking up and moving the docking station is cumbersome and seems to confuse it a bit. I might buy docking stations for each floor, or even another couple Roborocks. They are amazing.

Roborock Q5 Max+. Was skeptical about buying a robot vac, possible damage to doors, woodwork and over all performance. I did look on Vacuumwars/youtube and that really helped for a choice. I didn’t want a vac/mop so there are fewer choices. 2 bedroom carpet 1 bedroom hard wood and rest of home hardwood flooring/tile, many area rugs and open concept home. Approximately 2150 sq ft. It takes almost 2 hours for my house. The app is incredibly easy(64yr old lady) and was nervous if I could figure it out. You can zone areas out like under table/chairs that it struggles with, or set up certain rooms cleaned not whole house. I vacuumed day before as a test and the dust bin was completely full the next day. It does need cords up like under side tables or you can zone it out. Not sure I would go away for now while running cause it has gotten stuck(my fault) and needed my assistance but I’m still learning. I did buy extra washable filters, bags and side brush to have amazon(Roborock store). After 5 times I have rinsed the filter and dust bin. (Need 2 days to dry) I take filter outside and blew it out after every time that helps. It does help keep your house picked up that is a bonus for us(shoes, socks etc) The reason for the purchase is I’ve had both shoulder cuff repairs and we have a very hairy black Labrador. I cleaned the house the other day while it vacuumed and it was so nice. I would recommend this vacuum and Roborock

Dog hair magnet, but….. I purchased this as a Christmas present for my wife. We have two GSDs, so the amount of hair is horrendous! It does amazing with the amount of hair it picks up. My big issue is that it doesn’t empty out the dust container when it docks back up. We have changed the main bag and the HEPA filter which has not assisted it, what-so-ever. It’s almost like they forgot to put enough suction on the base, compared to what the vacuum itself is capable of. The other complaint is, it will get stuck in random places that it has cleaned multiple times in the past. A couple times a week, I get home and have to go on a treasure hunt to locate where it got hung up. This is the pro model, so the amount of funds I sacrificed for this, only gains it 3 ⭐️s. Sad, but true.

Best vacuum ever!. Get this vacuum!! I was ridiculously reluctant to get a robot vacuum. I thought it would be difficult to program and not clean very well. I was wrong! My Roborock s6pure(Paul) is amazing!! So amazing I named him:) the app on my phone has been incredibly easy to navigate and Paul works like a champ! I have him set to do a scheduled clean of certain rooms daily and now, incredibly, no more feeling dirt or grass from the yard. No more little and big bits of dog food on the rug! No more dog hair dust bunnies rolling along the floor! In fact, he does all of this maintenance for me while I can take care of other things…or drink a cup of tea! I love Paul; everyone needs one! I have hardwood and ceramic floors and area rugs, with one full room area rug being extremely thick. Paul cleans them all amazing well! I have three dogs who like to sort through their dog food. Paul picks up big and small dog food and all pet hair. I have long hair. He picks it up as well. He navigates just as well in dark rooms as light rooms:) Occasionally he will get “stuck” in one spot on my entryway where I think there is a pinch point being created. As soon as I move him he is fine. Also, because of my long hair and dog hair, I clean the roller and whiskers about 2x a week. His air filter I clean and rinse daily. For this purpose I bought an extra so I can interchange daily. I haven’t yet tried the mop. Also, haven’t tried the multifloor feature. If I can figure out how to get back into this review I will let everyone know how those features work too lol

Cumbersome app. I've had irobot products for years. This was a gift. Irobot's app may not be as exact or have as many bells and whistles, but at least it's easy to use. I find myself having to search around for simple things on the roborock app. One thing that is particularly annoying is having to stop cleaning if I want to do anything on the app. For example, change boundaries, choose room names etc. It also maps areas outside of windows and full length mirrors. I can't eliminate those areas. Other than controlling the robot, I like the way it cleans and access to the clean and dirty water is easy. It's just the app issues that made me give it 4 stars.

Don’t waste your time with other robot vacuum’s. This is by far the best option on the market today. I originally purchased iRobot’s top of the line vacuum and mop(two separate units). All I can say is how disappointed I was in their performance. They kept running into everything and could not map our open floor plan house. It struggled over medium to high pile carpet and would get stuck constantly. We found our Roborock S8+ and could not be happier. It took one run to accurately map our house to the centimeter and mark all hazards. This is what we were expecting when buying a top of the line vacuum and mop. It’s app is nothing short of impressive. I can customize every room floor, choose to mop or vac on various intensity settings and so much more including maintenance for the machine. I could not be more thrilled with this product and find every excuse to use it. I hope this review helps you make the right choice the first time unlike myself.

S7 Max Amazing Helper. We have 3 dogs in a medium sized one storey home. The Roborock has proven to be a great help in keeping dog hair and wood floors looking neat throughout the week. The best thing is that it will work in the background and is fully capable of emptying into the dust bin and cleaning the built-in mop to keep a nice sheen in the main traffic areas. It also sends any errors due to obstacles and amy malfunctions in the unit which are minimal and usually caused by a sensor becoming dusty or the bins for collection and water for mopping needing attention or emptying. We really like the intelligence of the unit and highly recommend. Well worth the investment we made for the quality of this product.

Roborrock Rocks. I have had a Rumba for years. I can’t tell you how many, but I would upgrade every couple of years or so. They have made a lot of improvements but still have issues with them. I on the other hand, finally learned about Roborock and I am so grateful to have been able to switch to this incredible Roborock! All the issues I had with the Rumba I don’t have any with Roborock. I don’t have any issues with the beater brush. My hair never gets caught in the beater bush, nor does it tear up the brush. It doesn’t get tangled with cords. I never bought one with a mop until now and wow what a game changer. I love our Roborock!

App Works Well, With a Couple of Small Gripes. I have been using the Roborock app with my new Roborock Vacuum for the last 3 days or so. Setup and use is pretty easy and intuitive, but I have noticed a couple of quirks with the app overall. First, if you sign into the app with a new device (I have two iPhones and one iPad signed in) while the vacuum is going through a cycle, the quick start tour that shows you around the app will cause the connection to the robot to break, which forces the user to close and restart the app. Not a big issue, but something that is worth fixing. Additionally, it would be nice to have a ‘skip’ button so that users who are just signing in with new devices can skip this step completely. Second, the shape of my house means that the robot has identified a large area consisting of five sections of my house (The kitchen, dining room, sitting room, entryway, and half of a hallway) are all one ‘room’. This isn’t a big deal, as that is editable in the app, as far as I understand. I wanted to edit that on my iPad because I generally find the larger screen easier to interact with for things like this, but it appears that iPads aren’t actually supported, as the app simply opens in a phone-sized view, so the iPad doesn’t actually provide any benefit over an iPhone which is mildly disappointing. Overall, the app and vacuum are pretty great, and actually seem to work reliably - so I am reasonably happy with the app. Additionally, both of the above issues should essentially be one-time issues, which won’t show up unless you’re setting up a new device or if you moved to a new place. The UI is also very pleasant to look at and reasonably well organized.

Everything works (almost) perfect for me.. This robot vacuum is well worth the money spent. It works almost flawlessly. I am able to do everything it was designed to do. I’ve had it for well over a year now and only have had a couple small issues. After one of the firmware updates it would get lost every once in a while. That went away after the next update. The only real issue I ever have is, it saying the main brush is jammed and needs cleaned (when it really doesn’t need cleaned yet) All you do is hit the “clean” button on the app and it will continue. I love my “Sally”. Please bring back her old voice.!!!!!! The new voice is very strange.

Love!!!. We have owned four different Roombas from iRobot, and I was a little hesitant to change robot ecosystems. To say they have all been temperamental would be an understatement. I absolutely LOVE our new Q Revo mopping robot! She just...works. I was skeptical of the single brush roll, but the carpets look cleaner than ever before with the pile lifted, and the hard floors just glow. The Roborock is quieter, with a more pleasant overall sound, and the tower is much quieter when evacuating the robot's debris and cleaning the mops. The mapping is spot on, and unlike the Roomba, the no go zones are precise and precise actually avoided. The Roborock even created a couple of its own where it initially got stuck and now avoids them! We couldn't be happier, and it makes me wonder what we would have gained by going with the more expensive models. Treat yourself...this is a wonderful machine!

Couldn’t be happier. I went through three Roombas… the last one started failing 6 months in and after a month of emails going back and forth asking for a replacement they finally agreed. However, they sent me a “service bot” in which I had to use the battery from the failing Roomba and the old docking station. It started malfunctioning less than a month later. I was done. So, I took a shot on the Roborock and haven’t looked back. Its so efficient in its vacuuming pattern its crazy!. We have hardwoods and area rugs, two dogs and a cat and this vacuum handles it like an absolute champ. I have ZERO complaints and cannot recommend the Roborock enough.

Drops saved settings daily. We were very excited with the robot untill the bery next day we realized that the application dropped all the saved settings: rooms, floors, zones, only kept the map. It dropped all “carpet” zones and presaved cleaning settings, and started washing carpets instead of vacuuming only. Even when we tried to stop cycle and manually change settings to vacuum only it continued washing and showed a drop symbol in the settings. We had to completely remove the device, reinstalled from scratch, re created all rooms, zones, preferred setup, and it worked that day, but the very next day all settings were defaulted to vac + mop again, zones were dropped, and only one zone left and placed in the middle of the mapp in a random place, same way it glitched before. We are very frustrated and thinking of returning the product because of the app.

Solid but Needs Improvements. The machine cleans well, both vacuuming and mopping. Its ability to avoid most objects and not get stuck is very good. However, there are drawbacks that need improvement. First, the water pump to allow the machine to mop and fill the robot with clean water is not self priming and requires real effort to get it to work the first time (injecting water and restarting it). This quality issue seems to have caught the company by surprise and was a big miss for an expensive machine. Second, the software to program zones to clean smaller areas is not intuitive and does not work well. This is disappointing and leaves the user frustrated when trying to clean high traffic areas that need frequent touch up. Third the machine needs more sensors to indicate when the clean water supply and the dust bin on the robot itself are full or empty. Finally, the replacement parts for the robot (mop pads, brushes and rollers) are expensive. This has led to a robust gray market for non OEM parts for the machine that vary greatly in quality. Hopefully, the company will take the time to fix these flaws so that the next version of this machine will make it a worthwhile investment. The design flaw with the pump, lack of key sensors , glitchy non-intuitive software, and expensive replacement parts for the items that need to be replaced periodically make it so that I don’t recommend it to others. I wanted one for each level of my home, but will not purchase another unless these issues are addressed. This company could excel if it would address these issues quickly.

Roborock S 6. We purchased this vac about 2 years ago. It does a very nice job of cleaning the whole house, or you can set it to clean specific rooms, It does a fair job of mopping, but could be improved if tweaked to allow more water to disperse on hard wood floors. Second item I need to point out it needs side brushes and this might allow for better cleaning in the area where one has overlapping bottoms in cabinet areas in their kitchen. Summery in my opinion it is well worth the money spent, it beats a upright cleaner which takes longer to clean. We like the way it cleans in the dark and most of all it will clean when you set it to for the whole house and go out to take care of your business and come home to clean floors. We are in our Senior years and this is a God sent. Important, don’t forget prepare free areas, no wires, or clutter. If it runs into something it can not get by, after two error messages, it go to sleep. Last, I should tell you when done it returns to the dock and recharges.

Good bot and app. Good app overall. But, I really really wish there was a quick way to pause or restart the robovac. Often times our s4max will start scheduled cleaning when I’m on a video call. When I open the app to pause cleaning, I first have to wait for the logo animation, then have to click on my device (I only own one device, there’s no reason to have a list of one), then I have to wait for the map to load, and then finally I can can tap “pause”. Starting and stopping cleaning are the two most common uses of this app, so it’s not efficient to have to go through so many steps to execute those simple commands. I hope the developers incorporate design changes to address this in future updates.

Awesome.. But it needs the ability to adjust where a room ends better. I currently have rooms separated by walls which it thinks are joint.. there is another room between them. So it is missing the corner of a room because it thinks it’s part of a different room. Then in that different room it’s constantly trying to go through the wall. I can’t split it either because it won’t let me split a blacked out area (a wall) Not sure what to do other than re map the entire house.

Love my Roborock, except when wifi connection stops working. I’ve had to swap to use the Mi Home app, as this app says my device is offline (it’s connecting perfectly fine in the Mi Home app). Support team said I need to completely reset my robot to factory settings & start again; this is terrible support. Can I suggest that you will eliminate a lot of pain/friction users like I experience when this occurs (I’ve seen countless others on Facebook also asking for advice on how to fix this), if you can come up with a way that lets us save our treasured maps to our account instead of to the device itself, so that if we need to reset we can restore our map/s back to the device from our account once it’s reset & restored. The device itself is a god send, and the functionality you’ve developed & enhanced upon since I got mine, are why I would still overall recommend your business.

Robocop. This is the best investment we have brought it save you so much time by not having to vacuum and mop the floors every second or third day now l only have go over with the vacuum once a week and that’s just a quick go over and the same with the mop Best thing ever👍

Backup/restore. The backup and restore buttons really need a confirmation prompt… something like ‘are you sure?’ message before taking action! Right now they respond instantly and cause big problems! For example, my husband sent the vacuum on a run and it completely messed up the map. I clicked the backup button thinking it would take me to a list of backup maps so I could find the original map and select that to restore but instead it immediately overwrote the map with the new messed up map!! Now my only option is to delete and start from scratch with a completely new map which is incredibly frustrating as it had taken MONTHS to map out the house correctly. A simple confirmation step would prevent this kind of issue and save users from losing their carefully built map!

My Husband bought this for so I wouldn’t hurt my back. This is so great I love it. I have a problem with my back and find it hard to vacuum under things. This machine does it all for me and all I have to do is use my app on the phone it’s great.

Latest update has ruined mapping. Besides looking like a preschooler designed the app update, it’s created more problems with higher battery usage - which in turn means it takes longer to do a less effective job than before update - it’s going around in circles. The interface is so much harder to see and navigate. Have to search all over to find options that were easy to find pre update. Must be the work experience kid doing an exam because it’s awful. Pay a fortune for an appliance and don’t expect it to go backwards with tech

Multi Floor App Design Fail. In a multi floor home the app works terribly. When taking the unit to another floor to clean a couple of rooms you have to Manage Maps, select the other floor, edit rooms, cancel, go back to main menu and then select the rooms you want to clean. It’s really painful and annoying especially since they used to have a button on the main menu to easily switch maps. There have been multiple requests to their support over many years for this to be resolved but they have been ignored. Also the routines (eg vac followed by mop) aren’t available when selecting individual rooms. Also you can’t delete the ghost rooms that it creates so you have the vac banging against a window or mirror. If you have a multi floor home, get a different robot vac brand.

Roberto review. Really enjoy using Roborock. I find it best to do zones as it does a better job as opposed to many rooms. I love that it empties the dirty water and washes the mop pads. Would like it to be able tomorrow sense a dirty spot in the kitchen so it could spend an extra few seconds to wash it more intensely but on the whole very happy and I love how the floors look lovely all the time.

Brilliant. I love Roborock. It does a great job going diligently around the house vacuuming and mopping into every little corner. It can fit and it tells me everything it’s doing in a very friendly voice. I really look forward to doing them mopping and vacuuming now.

Great app for an awesome vacuum robot. So cool how you can do selective room cleaning, spot cleaning, voice command, the maps are spot on. Setting up no go zones and imaginary walls is a breeze. You can set up multiple cycles so the robot will crisscross a room for double the effectiveness on a really dirty area. Scheduling is awesome, with multiple options. Our robot runs at 8am every day except weekends (we do it manually when we go out). But you can set up different settings for how intense the vacuum works, how intense the mop pad vibrates (3 different levels for each). All in all a plus. You can also name your robot and set voice controls to his name. We have named him “Miles”, because he goes for miles and miles 😂

Overwhelmed. Never thought I’d own one but after having an accident which made it difficult for me to keep my house as clean as I wanted my daughter convinced me to buy one. She has had the same brand for a couple of years now and no issue. I so wished I got one back then. I’m a hard one to convince to move forward with technology but I would never go back to conventional cleaning. Very happy with my new cleaner.

Percentage and charge. Whilst most things are going well with the Roborock s7, I think a couple of things can change. 1. I think that it should go down to 5% before it needs a charge, 19% is too much left and also with charging it should charge back up to 100% before going again and not 80%.

Best clean ever.. We have put this little robot to the test. We’re on a new build. There’s sawdust and dust everywhere and it cleans my floor like no other. I’m chemical free. I love that. I used to use an Enjo mop, but this Hoover vacuum is better than an Enjo mop, which I never thought them words will come out of my mouth highly recommend This is on hard floors not had the carpets fitted yet to test that part

Needs a save zones feature!. Like the product and the app, but would love to see the developers add the ability to save the zones that we use often rather then having to set the area everytime we need a spot clean. Currently have a 10 month old who makes a mess around his high chair every meal. The current workaround of setting up a 'room within a room' is clunky.

Roborock qrevo s. Overall very good robo vacuum I have had a couple of them. This one I like for most part specially for the price point I’ve been using it for two years. It’s still going very smooth. I don’t like cleaning the tray but I think at that price point all of them have tray that needs to be cleaned. The only thing I don’t like especially is it doesn’t clean the edges of the room properly doesn’t go all the way to the corner, but that’s pretty much the only criticism for the machine.

The best money I’ve ever spent!. Seriously if you are thinking about a robo vac this guy is for you. I have dreamed of a device that would make my life easier and this little beast does not dissappoint. My floor is clean and I don’t have to do it! Thanks team of this is an indication of the tech now I can’t wait to see what your next move is.

Roborock Q7 Max. This is the best purchase I have ever made. The vaccum cleaner is so efficient and easy to use. Can easily set no go zones for when the family dump stuff on the floor. The house feels way cleaner than we could have ever got it. Really easy mapping, easy to send to certain zones or rooms.

App is average. Latest update - vaccuum is getting more confused with layout than after the most recent update. Can only add section to a clean, not a room. Keeps going into other non selected rooms. Re-mapped part of the rooms/house so I’ve had to restore a saved map. Map that restored was so old, before any rooms were named and aligned. I can literally go into the cleaning schedule and see my map it cleaned from yesterday, but it’s now restored it to a shell. Soooooo annoying!!! I switched internet providers and got a new wifi modem. Spent hours trawling the internet, changing router settings, changing to 2.4Gh, following roborock instructions with no luck. Luckily I had my old modem so I’ve been having to use this to be able to use my roborock. For such an innovative product, this is pretty poor in this day and age!! It would also be good if there was a restart/rescan function. If it scans incorrectly and thinks it’s in a different area on starting a clean, it continues to clean and remaps the house. Have to restore the backup map, and restart the clean to fix!

Roborock rocks. I’ve had my Roborock Q7max+ for three weeks and love it. Previously had an old model Roomba and find the new Roborock far superior. Great suction power works well on loop pile and open pile carpet, tiles and floor boards. Excellent at removing heaps of dog hair from our two big dogs. The mopping is good and my floors have never been cleaner now that they get mopped four times a week. Though you can see the lines on the floor after mopping where the Roborock tracks up and down the floor. We have a big 6 bedroom tri-level home and the mapping and scheduling is a huge timesaver. Auto empty bin is amazing and I still haven’t had to empty it after three weeks of daily vacuuming. The app is helpful but not intuitive when it comes to mapping out a multi level house. I’m still trying to work out the best way of doing that. All in all I’m extremely satisfied

Cleaner is good. App is Terrible. Love the robot cleaner but the app is terrible. It gets all messed up and moves rooms around. Happens at least once a month. You have to reuse the back up and then go back into the schedule and fix it. As of today it has now deleted all the scheduling after the back up map was reinstalled. I’m so over this app, we used another brand before this one and it was even worse. Maybe your programmers should go back to programming school.

Great Vacuum. I was was sceptical but my girlfriend had an older version and convinced me to upgrade. So worth it the apartment is always clean and the lounge rug is always fluffed up. We have a cat that likes chasing treats leaving bits of biscuit everywhere with the Roborock we know everything is cleaned. Fun to use too with the app etc. only negative is it sometimes can’t empty itself as it gets blocked when fluff is too compacted in the bin but this is easy to sort and not a real problem

Life saver and very essential member of the house. We got this robot a few weeks back and it has been one of the most crucial part of our daily lives. It cleans and mops properly. The schedule and the room wise cleaning feature really help. Worth every penny.

Good app, looking for more advance features. Good app so far but room for improvement: - Siri command: it would be great to be able to choose all settings, such as number of cycles we want a room to be done - firmware: the recent cross pattern is good when requesting multiple cycles, but the competition offer Y-pattern mopping which show good results.

Frustrating and Clunky – Needs a Major Rework. Honestly, this app feels like it was designed without any real user experience in mind. It’s frustrating to use and just doesn’t make sense half the time. Here’s why: • You can’t manually define rooms properly. I should be telling the app what’s a room – not the other way around. Instead, it just guesses and gets it wrong constantly. • The map constantly changes… for the worse. I’ve remapped the house multiple times, and each time it somehow ends up more broken. There’s no option to save a solid map and go back to it either – once it’s messed up, you’re stuck. • It’s confused by brick walls. Seriously – it created a room outside the house on my front lawn. Not ideal. • No Windows app. Why? Editing maps on a PC would be so much easier. It’s not like that would break the bank to develop. • New map attempt? Fail. Just tried a fresh remap of a standard 3-bed home – it recognised 2 rooms and turned the rest into one giant blue blob. No idea what it’s thinking. • Room detection through doorways is a joke. It can’t even figure out basic layout logic – like separating spaces when going through a door. • Room splitting is hopeless. It rarely works, and there’s a limit to how many rooms you can even have. That makes zero sense. • Compared to other brands, it’s a letdown. My girlfriend has a Dreame vacuum – no remapping issues, no editing problems. It just works. This app honestly feels like a rushed mess. Whoever built it needs to revisit the basics of intuitive app design. It’s 2025 this kind of clunky performance just isn’t good enough.

Would not connect. Tried everything possible but Roborock just wouldn’t connect to our WiFi. Followed every bit of trouble shooting from other users online - seems others also had issues. Also went through Roborock technical support to no avail. They gave up too but weren’t proactive in finding a resolution. Shame because having done hours of research I really liked what it had to offer. Ended up taking it back to the store and swapping for a Deebot. Which connected seamlessly.

Roger. Absolutely fantastic product, vacuum’s and mops over multiple surface types with ease and impressively does it well, simple to set up and get going. Thanks for saving me time🙏🏻the dryer attachment for the doc after mopping works well and would recommend that as well👍

Great Product. Having the Roborock in our house has been a revelation. Mapping and configuring the house and rooms was a breeze and scheduling different cleaning programs is a handy feature. We are yet to try the mopping function but have been impressed by the unit and the app.

I love my Roborock.. I call my S6 the Kraken, my lafant 3302s Napoleon, and no name for newest Q7b yet??. It is hard to beat S6 with Q7b but age has levelled the playing field. Lafant is smaller and glides between chair legs and obstacles. Thinking about it now, my S6 is the winner and shakes, rattles and rolls with solid assurance to a close win over new 7b, well ahead in every other regard against Lafant, other than thinness. All navigate and map equally with Lidar and i rarely hear “help I’m stuck” (Lafant) after the first dozen or so runs at new maps. The one with the camera up front is the most superior when floor changes with dogs or kids (obstacles), it amazes me.

Need more improvement to the App. Vacuum robots are excellent. However, if some improvements can be applied to the app, they will be much appreciated and will significantly increase the quality of life: 1. Dedicated iPad app. 2. Allow managing more devices in different widgets. 3. The stability should improve as the app crashes often. 4. Allow using Smart AI cleaning through the Apple Home app.

Rooms tab got worse. A couple of updates ago, the Rooms tab updated to show 3D maps in stead of the old 2D one. I assume this was intended to be an enhancement of a sort of. But what really happened is now it’s much harder to select rooms and even worse it’s almost impossible to tell which rooms are selected. I waited for this to be fixed for a while as the issue was to obvious. But no fix for couple of months so I decided to wire something here hoping there’s someone who actually cares. I like my Roborock 7s so much and I wish it to provide the good experience as it did before.

Great vac, trash app. Roborock are seriously letting down their amazing robot vacuums by continuing to have such a rubbish app. I’ve owned mine for 3 years and in that time I’ve been able to divide and name rooms once. My entire map has been deleted two or three times. The only reason it gets a second star is because the vacuum does divide rooms somewhat when it maps a place, and you can select those individually if you don’t want to do a full clean.

Were Happy with my new vacuum cleaner and app. Updated review: we were very happy with our S5Max when we first bought it, it handled the wooden floors and rugs across both floors of the house perfectly however we’ve recently moved house and now have a couple of rooms with carpeted floors and the unit gets stuck on the carpet when it encounters some, but not all, obstacles e.g. walls it bumps against. I can’t figure out if the carpet simply slows the unit down such the the bump sensor doesn’t detect the bump or that the suction when on the carpet is such that there’s too much friction for it to change direction upon encountering a bump. I’ve tried adjusting the vacuum level from balanced to quiet for the affected rooms and also turned off carpet boost but this doesn’t seemed to have helped so for now I’ve just configured invisible walls at the entrance/doorway in to the affected rooms and will vacuum them manually. I’m hoping a firmware update will eventually fix this issue and we can return to loving our Roborock vacuum robot. Like other reviews, I had problems connecting the vacuum cleaner to my WiFi on the first iOS device I used but it worked fine on the second iOS device. The problem I experienced with the first device was that after reaching the point in the setup process where you connect to the vacuum cleaner’s wireless access point and leaving the app to do so, upon returning to the app, the app would refresh and start the setup wizard/process from the beginning and fail to configure the vacuum’s connection to my WiFi. I tried lots of different ways to overcome this but was unable to until I tried the setup process on a second iOS device, which worked first time. Both iOS devices are running iOS 14.1 but are different hardware models, perhaps there is a setting configured differently between the two devices that cause this behaviour but I couldn’t find any obvious such setting. Once I had the vacuum cleaner connected to WiFi, I was able to use both iOS devices to trigger the cleaning process and I was really impressed with the vacuum’s ability to clean.

Roborock S8 Ultra. Fantastic machine that is mighty powerful and very effective in its cleaning capacity. The mapping is also great and 98% accurate (the other 2% is it looking to the outside through glass doors thinking there’s another room out there). I would have rated 5 Stars but I honestly feel the Roborock app needs some slight tweaks in its ‘ease of operation’ (if there was a 4.5 then I’d give it). Definitely worth the money and allows you to delegate some of the mundane housework.

Don’t hesitate it’s excellent. It’s just so so so so good don’t hesitate getting one It has upped my cleaning game and I thought I was already good but now I can concentrate on dusting up high and it takes care of everything on the ground what a joy to have a machine that is worth the money you spend on it ✨

Design + dark mode app icon!. Love the functionality of this app, but I’m leaving a 1-star review for now as a bit of a nudge to get a dark mode icon and Liquid Glass support implemented. It’s a great tool, but the icon really sticks out on a dark home screen and breaks the clean, standardized look I’m trying to keep across my phone. I’d love to see it updated with those modern UI touches so it blends in better with the rest of my setup. I’ll be the first to update this to 5 stars once it’s looking a bit more current!

Roborock. The best thing I have ever bought. It cleans and washes my floors far better than myself or anyone else could do. Just wish it’s little dirt bag had either a zip or Velcro’s to make it easier for emptying. I love it would recommend it for everyone.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love love love!. My son made it but this when I moved in 6 weeks ago. What a time saver - omg I’m loving my roborock!! I have a lot of wooden floors and a big house with a split level. I’d have to be vacuuming every 2nd day with the amount of dust. So it’s a massive time saver not having to. I love that you can program the cleaning time - and the messages that get sent to your phone! It took a little while to set up the first time - but wasn’t hard. And that’s it then you’re set. You have to do a little maintenance like changing the bin and now and then cleaning the roller from long hair but that pretty much it! My only regret is I didn’t get one years ago!

Could not love this more!!. My partner thought I was joking when I asked for a robot vacuum cleaner for Christmas. A work colleague had just got hers in early October and RAVED about it. For me, this has been a game changer. I CAN be super woman with Rocky. lol… It’s amazing to be able to have the floors clean all the time with no effort. Everything feels fresh and I’m not stressing about having enough time to get everything clean. On the weekends, i can dust and tidy up one end of the house, set Rocky loose there while I dust and tidy up the other end. Sit down and have a glass of wine while Rocky finishes the clean up. During the week, I just start Rocky off to do the tiled areas as I leave work and everything is sparkling clean when I get home. Beyond happy and highly recommend.

Rob does good job!. Provided you keep the filter clean and objects off the floor, this is freaking awesome, every use I empty out and use my air compressor to clean the filter proficiently. Because I have long hair it gets caught in certain spots but as long as you maintain rob it’s all good! Best investment house wise I have made!

I think it’s good Bn. Excitedly about it to you now you have a baby girl in her house so you don’t know if she is still sleeping or you need anything from the house so I don’t think I can have it to her tomorrow if you need any more questions thank love you too thank love for your family

Q7 max. Purchased Sunday spent all day Monday attempting to operate will not connect to Internet nor bind when located. Looked online for others who have similar problems attempted all such as close to internet use ph connection reset internet etc etc etc. Appears not to like 5G internet apparently prefers lower standard. Worst part is no assistance on their internet site nor someone to talk through only way left is to return as does not meet minimal intended use if cannot connect to internet and no assistance available.

Betsy - the Cleaner. We’ve named our Roborock vacuum cleaner, Betsy. She’s very reliable, precise and awesome Cleaner. She takes care 95% of our vacuuming works. Once you’ve properly set up the zones to be cleaned including the sequencing, you just let her do the rest which is fantastic!! She’s been with us now for almost 4 yrs. and she’s still performing really well. She’s an amazing machine. We definitely highly recommend her if you’re planning to get one.😁

Great vac but Poor privacy protection. Bought S8 Pro Ultra June 2024, very happy with it, but the app requires too much access to my network and phone and associated data in order to use the app/vac. I noticed since I started using the vac that I started getting an large number of scam emails but thought this might be for some other reason. This week I decided to update all my passwords, network, email, isp just in case I had been hacked, and all emails stopped, but today I needed to use the vac so connected it to the network again, with the new password, and within 5 minutes the scam emails started again. This company does not appear to take data and privacy protection seriously, which is extremely concerning and tarnishes their very good products, and it also makes me question the purchase of this vac, and caution others.

Degrading after software updates. The unit used to work well but since the last couple of updates it can no longer do map based cleaning as it does not know where it is even after remapping the entire house. Needs to be fixed quickly.

Sadie the Cleaning Lady!. Cannot fault our Sadie Gal. She is perfection, works better than if I were to use our stick Dyson and she hasn’t skipped a beat. Vacuum itself 10/10. Where I’m feeling really let down is the app & the common (it seems) issue of disconnecting from wifi and then failing to reconnect. It’s been 3 days now of sifting through forums on how to fix it because so many others have the same issue. Monday today so tried calling the support line but didn’t have time to wait on hold. Disappointed considering the cost.

Needs a homing beacon for the docking station. It has been fairly easy to use but when something goes wrong it’s not easily fixable. My issue has been that the docking station on the map for no reason at all gets moved to another room which would result in “Dock not found”. When that happens, one has to send the robot out for a full clean and hope it recognise where it is and even when it hits the docking station it still does not know that’s the docking station is because the map says it’s somewhere else. This happens daily wit my unit. I think it could easily be fix if user is able to manually change the location of the dock on the map to its correct position or the docking station should have some sort of homing beacon for the robot so it knows where to go to.

Good app, but needs work. The app is helpful and useful, however there are some design issues, both in the operation of the vacuum and app itself. Some obvious app changes that need to occur: Ability to customise notifications. This is one that is popular in the forums online. Most of us don’t care to know when a scheduled clean starts, or when the Roborock is low on battery and going to the dock. We do want to know if there is an issue though, like the robot getting stuck. We have enough phone notifications with other apps, we need the option to customise. Ability to create additional rooms: The limit on the amount of rooms doesn’t make sense. I would understand if the limit was 50, but not what it is at present (10?) Automatic removal of automatic schedules. There is a bug where automatic schedules (is: clean all) are not deleted when a new map is created. This is an issue as the old schedules do not work correctly when a new map is created.

I want the previous version of this app back!. Ever since I updated this App I’ve had trouble with the App not communicating with the Robot. The robot is actually connected to the internet but the App says that it is Offline and then it’s around in circles we go trying to fix it without any result. So I’ve been trying to fix this problem every day for a week now and I just give up and use the Robot manually. This is not ideal because obviously you can’t switch between Vacuuming & Washing. I’m so annoyed that I updated the App as it was working perfectly before this!

Perfect is EVERY way except very soft pet hair. My cat has long soft fur, and it kind of just rolls over when the S7 passes over it (but I hear the same thing about all the robot vacuums). Everything else the S7 does perfectly. The mapping is perfect and the app is incredible to use. The mopping is great too.

Mr B. App is good and vacuum is really good. What would make it amazing is if mapping was better or had ability to edit it online or delete ghost rooms! One more thing. If you could add wxtra overlay of areas where vacume could do more thorough job ie extra cleaning/slower/twice by default it would be great. Please fix that and make this the best robo vacume on the market

Excellent experience. Best Robot cleaner highly recommended

Won’t stay connected to the internet. Had it fir a couple months and now it won’t dock , empty, or go home on its own.

Great little helper!!. 12 out of 10 well worth the investment!!!

Works amazing unless it ever disconnects. This app is completely useless at letting you reconnect your robot to the internet. I’ve spent literal hours trying to trouble shoot and reconnect my robot after it was accidentally left of the dock too long and the battery died. After spending countless hours trying to reset my wifi, change my settings to 2.4, downloading various other apps, this absolutely garbage app will not reconnect my app. Now I’m left with a robot vacuum that works very well without any of the actually useful features. Total garbage- do better.

Super. Fait très bien le travail!

Convenient!. Does a pretty good job. I like that it’s so quick for vac + mop or I get to choose to vac first for a deeper clean. Wish it did a better job with edges

Happy. Cleaned better than myself

Awesome!. This is a terrific robotic vacuum. Does a great job both vacuuming and mopping. I replaced an old Roomba and the difference is incredible. It easily transitions from bare floors to carpet and does an equally efficient job vacuuming both surfaces.

Lots of bugs. The map often becomes corrupted, and the robot disconnects from the Wi-Fi network.

Qrevo pro. Great product easy to use

Amazing. I absolutely love my Roborock curve. Life-changing.

Change to the other map. I couldn’t find how to change to the other map

Would be 5 stars if the UI was scalable. The scale of the UI elements and text is too small to read. comfortably. Just add an option to scale up icons and text.

Roborock QV 35A. After owning it, my hands were freed and my home was clean. I regret not buying it earlier.

Very glitchy. No go zones won’t save. The vacuum won’t follow the room sequence. Who made this app?

Apple watch no notification. Apple watch no notification

Make it compatible with the s5 please?. Please make it compatible with the s5. That would be great.

Feedback about the device. The device consistently disconnects from the Wi-Fi network. It logs out on its own multiple times throughout the day, which interrupts normal use and makes the experience frustrating. I have already tried reconnecting, resetting the network settings, and restarting the device, but the issue continues. I hope this can be fixed in a future update or addressed by support.

Better than I expected. Have used it for a month, the performance exceeds my expectation.

Love it!. Love our Roborock Qervo Curv but so sad it doesn’t talk to you back. Like Hi Rocky! And saying Hi back. It would be a fun feature to have a robot cleaner with a sens of humour. Otherwise, clean well!

Life saver. This robot vacuum is state of the art. I have had one in the early years when they came out, obviously not this brand but i hated it and it was a waste of money but decided to try the newer technology based on the reviews and i certainly was not disappointed. This has not let me down yet and it is so self sufficient, its amazing ! I recommend!

Not as intuitive. Very expensive and very hard to program. Bad buy

iPadOS app. Hi Team, please add landscape orientation iPadOS support

Disconnects from wifi all the time. I have the S7 and anytime I need to use it, I have to reconnect to WiFi from scratch. Sometimes it even disconnects from WiFi in the middle of vacuuming.

Great app but missing some small details. Can’t set repeat cleans when setting up schedules for Q5 Max+ robot. This can only be done on one off cleans or via routines which don’t have a time scheduling option for the Q5. Other bugs found include random crashing when using map within schedule setup. Other than these issues the app is great and does everything I need.

Best Buy ever. Have made my bedroom smell fresh and now I feel my house clean on the carpet and in the air - just wish I can buy spare parts and accessories easily

My Roborock. I love my Roborock it’s the Best Invention 💕✌🏻

Great. It is a great unit. Cleans well. Easy to operate. Big help. I love how I don’t need to clean now as much.

Great but less on carpet. Great but has difficulty with carpets :/ so can’t use on carpets. I have black and grey slightly thick carpet

Can’t change no-go zones.. Anytime I try to add or change any no-go zones, the app reset to the last saved mapped. Can’t update any zones. Not happy about this and if not corrected very soon, I’ll be retuning the vacuum back to Amazon as defective. Reading other reviewers, they are having the same issue. What good a a smart vacuum if we can’t save map features?!

Maps keep getting erased. Maps getting erased tired of it

Farmhouse, 4 generations, 6 kids, 2 dogs - and it’s up for the task!!. This machine has been a blessing for our house. We are busy life, I’ve been having a hard time staying on top of things like mopping - being able to adjust the settings to intensify the cleaning has been incredible. Definitely worth the money for the Qrevo. I just emptied the water bin, and it was filthy. It’s picking up so much grime.

Buggy. Getting constant dust bag replacement notifications with no option to reset in Maintenance.

Cannot find device. The app can’t recognize the device. It is useless.

Best. I run this vacuum everyday and my floors have never been so clean! If you don’t have one, get one! It saves so much time!

Game changer. I can’t say enough about this unit and the ease of use! The little robot is amazing and relatively quiet with a wide range of options for cleaning. The app is very simple and all in all I can’t fault this at all . My floors have never been so clean.

Not clever. Not impressed. This is more work than me taking time to vacuum every day.

Happy. I have two years with my boric land it is working well

Highly recommend the Roborock saros S10. The Roborock cleaner has been a game-changer in keeping my large 2 storey house clean. Its smart mapping feature allowed me to create detailed maps for each floor and name each room so I can easily direct it to clean specific room or specific area in a room. Whether I want to vaccum only, mop only or do both, the options are available and user- friendly even if you are not a high tech person. The self cleaning function is a plus. Just refill the clean water and empty the dirty tank. The Roborock cleaning solution lasts for months. While u need to move the dock to whichever floor it’s cleaning, it is easy to carry. Overall, it is reliable, efficient and smart cleaning companion.

Mr. Shahrokh. It is great and easy to operate.

Amazing product!. Amazing!

Thrilled. Amazing vacuum. Life changing and that is not hyperbole.

Perfect cleaning. It's really good for cleaning

Buggy since new update. Ever since the new update the maps never load for me. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and rebooting the vacuum and phone and deleting the vacuum from the app and re adding it and nothing works to fix maps not loading. Liked it more before the new update.

Doesn’t connect. The roborock qrevo s wont connect to the app or any wireless device. I’ve done all troubleshooting steps. Everything imaginable and it doesn’t show up in the app, wifi list or Bluetooth list ever. The app tries to join it and fails every time. So frustrated right now. Pls apply a fix for the qrevo S

Don’t buy this for multi floor cleaning. The maps get corrupted every time you switch between floors. Rooms get renamed, no-go zones get shuffled, floor types get reset. The app also freezes a lot when changing floors. Robot will drive aimlessly looking for the docking station on the floor where there is no docking station.

robo. very satisfied with this product.

Roborock review. I switched from Roomba to Roborock. I like that it is quieter and the mop pads spin to scrub the floor. The app is not as user friendly as Roombas. Roombas is easy to create routines and see everything. The Roborock one is complicated and you have to click into other screens instead of having what’s important right in the main screen. It is even complicate to create custom routines. It doesn’t need to be that complicated. The dog hair still gets in behind the rollers and is difficult to get out.

Not as smart as advertised. Ai Smartplan is not smart, seems to make arbitrary decisions and does not follow settings directive for cleaning such as carpets first. Seems to constantly mop and vacuum simultaneously no matter what I try. Mapping functionality is no better than it was 5 years ago. Consistently shifting maps every two weeks and am not able to reliably finish cleaning a single room without it freaking out about its location or if it should be mopping or vacuum at the moment. A lot of money for an over glorified roomba. Save yourself the money and buy a Wyze one. Atleast the price matches the capability.

Rocky ROCKS!. A new way to make life easier. Huge improvement over our 15-20 year old roomba.

Worth it for vacuuming but mopping needs work. The vacuuming capability of the S7 is great. The navigation is downright amazing. It never gets stuck and easily navigates both the top and bottom floor of our house. For these reasons, I’d buy the unit again even without the mopping capability. The mopping capability is not great. I’d go as far as to say it’s unacceptable. No matter if I prewet the mop pad and rewet during the run, it leaves streaks. After multiple attempts to get an acceptable mopping, I’ve given up on the mop feature. I’ve removed the mop pad and run as a vacuum only.

RoboRock Rocks the WiFi Connection Bug Needs Fixing. RoboRock S7 is the best vacuum robot I’ve ever had. Just amazing. The review is for the app. What kills it for me is the issue with connecting to the WiFi. The first time I struggled but somehow it connected and I’ve been using it every day. Yesterday the lights went out and came right back. This caused RoboRock to disconnect from my WiFi. To make a long story short, almost two days and unable to connect to the WiFi with RoboRock app. I downloaded Mi Home app and in less than a minute, not only was RoboRock connected to the WiFi, my entire home map was loaded and i sent RoboRock to do his thing. Please fix the WiFi Bug in you application.

I can’t type in a password to sign up?. It’s not letting me sign up for an account. When I do it through my phone number or email. I have typed in a password manually in password and password confirms, I have also tried pasting a secure password from Bitwarden and that’s not working. Another thing that bothers me, is there’s no integrations with IFFTT. It would be ideal if I could trigger the cleanings through IFFTT at the same time my other devices/routines are at. But there isn’t, I actually bought this thinking it was by iRobot, and I could chain it with other devices in my home using IFFTT. And I guess I can’t. It’s sad.

My new best friend!. This is my first vacuum/mopping bot, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’m super impressed! The app tells me when something gets stuck, when one of the tanks needs filling or emptying, really when anything needs to be done, allowing me to focus on other things. It also provides me with tips about the bot and setting up cleaning routines was relatively easy. Nice app and bot combo!

Roborock S-7. Love My RR ! However the last app update is terrible! The map use to be 2-D & now its 3D which makes it impossible to send the RR to 1 particular room! The map keeps turning & twisting on the iPhone screen ! How do you lock it in place ?!?! Additionally, the color contrast is gone when you touch a room to be cleaned. It’s the same color as it was before you chose it. Please quadruple the contrasting color!!! The only way to have the robot clean one room now is to schedule it ahead of time. So sad. Was such a good app last month….

Complete and utter Trash. Room mapping part is utter garbage. Tried to divide two rooms it thought was one for literally two hours and just gave up. It should not be this hard. Also instead of this asinine split merge room nonsense…how about just let us plant where a room is? Like really how bad is your data model that you can’t let me just tell you where the rooms are??? Or maybe invent a way for me to force the robot to go somewhere to map it again. Or maybe a line that lets me tell you where a door is. SMH And because we have 5 different floor types this basically makes our very expensive robot very useless, I mean it’s trying to mop the carpet for f’s sake.

MY FAVORITE!!!!. Zorro is my affectionate name for our little all in one family mom system. We have 3 adults, one 8yr old, a cat & dog with the downstairs being all laminated floor and rugs. I have set schedule around our lives and I don’t have to add the downstairs floors on my busy schedule. The maintenance on the machine is simple and efficient. I simply adore it and it was worth every single penny! We purchased- the dock set up with the water tank on the unit. It vacuuming and mopping- it just perfect!

Good overall. This app works really well and has lots of cool settings! Things I’d like in the app are: Ability to manually scrub areas of the map and save multiple maps to find the best one. eg if the robot goes past a mirror it sometimes thinks it’s part of the room next door. While this doesn’t seem to affect cleaning I like it to look neat. Easier way to set thresholds between rooms. You can subdivide rooms, but it’s really restrictive in where you can put the line. My robot thinks the threshold on the hard floor is part of the carpeted room and constantly goes over it and gets stuck otherwise. An iPad app and some Apple watch integration. I was shocked this doesn’t exist already as that would be the ideal way to edit maps. These robots are expensive luxuries, so the same target market as Apple, an iPad app is a no brainer.

Works great except for the annoying bumper stuck error. Overall really impressed with my S7. The bumper stuck error is really annoying. Sometimes it could be in the middle of a wide open area when this error occurs. It is almost impossible to get a clean run without the bumper stuck error, even though I clean the unit consistently. I am so glad I didn’t waste the money on the self emptying version. Beside that, I am really happy with the unit. The mopping feature is an added bonus.

Robotic Cleaning At Its Best. As a single dad anything that can help me with house chores and increase my free time with my son I'm all for. The fact that this little robot is actually very good at what it does makes this all the better. Vacuum, mop, it does it all and well. The only issue would be the inability to disable the carpet beaters for wool rugs. I wish this were an option instead of my having to do the vacuuming myself but it's only a little work compared to doing the entire house.

So close…. The app is relatively solid and easy to use. Setup is quick and intuitive. Maintenance is straight forward. I have one, honestly, major complaint. ADD HOMEKIT SUPPORT. When I spend a grand on a vacuum, I honestly feel like this is a very small ask. It feels lazy to not add it. I don’t care if it’s not via meta or thread and is only Wi-Fi. Just add it via a software update to the robot and to the app. And no… I won’t buy a whole new robot to do it. Otherwise, great products and great app.

Not optimized for iPad. The app is not optimized for an iPad screen, so if you plan on using this from an iPad be aware that it won’t run in full-screen mode, won’t auto-rotate, etc—all of the limitations that apps which are not optimized for iPad have. Given the amount of detail presented on the map and the need to interact with the map, the developers should provide better support for iPad. Otherwise, the vacuum works great and technology is pretty darn amazing. If you can engineer this stuff to use LIDAR and AI you can surely give the app more polish like other reviewers have already noted. I understand this is a brand-new product but what you deliver from day-1 in your product is what truly matters—not what whatever features/fixes may appear or not appear in the future.

Skeptical at first, but now I’m a believer!. My husband bought this for me as an anniversary gift. It’s something that I never would’ve bought myself because I never could wrap my mind around how it could possibly work. Vacuuming my house was one of my least favorite chores and so time-consuming. Once I figured out how to program the vacuum using the app with my phone, I was absolutely amazed at how perfectly it worked! I absolutely love it! Don’t know how I went so long without one.

Roborock: the iPhone of Robots. Excellent product and APP. Roborock works better than most of the mopping robot on mopping function. It’s famous LiDar navigation in vacuum, strong suction power and long battery runtime simply outstanding. I must say s7 is the best robot cleaner in my mind, comparing to other brands and models. Roborock APP is rich in multiple features and I love every one of them. I can even set cleaning sequence of different rooms. Wonderful, joyful and perfectly helpful. Roborock is the iPhone of robots.

App wouldn’t connect to device, support response lagging. After ONE WEEK of trying to Connect the device to my WiFi and numerous contacts with support, I finally got the app to connect when I loaded it on an old iPhone then transferred it to my newer iPhone . This was not one of the recommendations from support, so if others have the same issues I did, loading onto an old iPhone first may solve the issue. Once I was able to connect the device through my phone to out WiFi, it has worked flawlessly.

Far beyond our expectations!. I have to admit that I was very skeptical that the Roborock would work as well as it does. My daughter bought one and raved about it. I reluctantly bought one for my wife for Christmas and we are both amazed at how thorough the Roborock performs every day and keeps things looking great. They have an English setter that sheds a lot of fur white fur. Roborock now keeps our floors beautiful everyday! Jerry & Joy

WHAT HAPPENED?!. I’ve had this app since December 2021. It worked great up until this week so I feel compelled to write this review after several frustrating hours of trying to re-connect to my Wi-Fi network. Not sure if some kind of firmware update happened which caused the issue I’m having. I did research for other customers having the same issue. They all said the same thing. They were also unable to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. such a shame. it was good while it lasted. I was able to download a different application and was able to reconnect and the vacuum works fine now. Developers please look at your app and fix the issue.

Incredible vacuum, So-so app. The vacuum itself is unbelievably great, but it’s hampered slightly by its less than average app. This app still needs LOTS of polish. From handling multiple maps, to Google Assistant support, features that exist in Mi Home but not on this app, and overall user interface (which currently looks like an intern or inexperienced programmer developed). However, having said all the negatives, I think the app allows users to accomplish all the necessary tasks required for operating the vacuum (Roborock S6). I would still highly recommend the Roborock S6 to anyone despite the minor shortcomings of its associated app.

Amazing time saver. We just had our hardwood floors refinished and there used to be a lot of them, no carpet. I decided to purchase a robo vacuum and did a little research and decided on this one. I’m glad I did. For my first one I have ever had I am thrilled with how much time it saves me. I have 2 German Shepherd (shedders) I this works like a dream. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a job well done and a little extra time to relax.

Partial remapping is not exist. After you map your floor and split this in different rooms, there is no option to remap your selected room again. I’ve just get a new furniture for my living room and it completely changed. I wanted to just remapping my living room but there is no such option. I had to remap entire floor again and split rooms and no-go zones again. I’m really surprised that this expensive Roborock S7 doesn’t have such a simple feature!! Because I like to device in general I give a 3 star. I’d like to update it with 5 after partial mapping feature is added into the device.

Good app. Misses important features. Overall the app is functional. However it misses an important feature that my six year old eufy vacuum had and that is permanent savable zones. I can’t believe you can’t do that in this app! I want to create a zone say the area surrounding the cat litter or the area next to the stove and save those zones so the vacuum can tackle them directly. This is such a crucial feature for me and I did not expect a 1700 dollar vacuum not to support. I’m sure the good folks at roborock will support this with a software update to their app!

Tricks to connect Q revo. I was struggling to get this app to connect to my vacuum. Luckily Reddit saved the day. These 2 steps Below will save you about an hour of frustration. 1)To connect I had to disable my mobile data, turned on airplane mode. The process goes scan QR to connect, uses info of your phones current WiFi and password, then your phone connects to the vacuum and transfers that data, then the vacuum itself tries to connect to WiFi. Without turning off mobile data this process failed every time. 2)This one is kind of mind blowing…you CAN NOT have any special characters in your WiFi SSID OR your WiFi PASSWORD. W T H. So I had to either redo all my currently connected device passwords or create a new WiFi network, went with the later. Otherwise app seems fine, just major flaws there on the connection process. I guess special characters interferes with the Chinese characters?

Unable to delete ghost room detected via mirror. Couple bedrooms have closet door with mirror surface from floor to ceiling. Roborock vac with lidar, which my S7 MaxV Ultra has, think there big room on other side of the mirror and think living room and dinning are in the same room as the bedroom. We need a feature where we can draw a line and do not map pass this line. Also, we need to be able to delete part of map using square/rectangle. These two features are badly needed. I see online that quite few other people are having same issues since 2019 and Roborock have yet to fix it.

Good and Bad. Devs, Just got my Roborock s7 and it works amazingly well! The mapping is wonderfully accurate, and the cleaning is spot on! It’s almost done charging, then wrapping the main floor, and there’s a few things I’d like to see changed. Charging at 20% is really annoying if there’s only a few minutes of cleaning left. PLEASE change this to be user editable. Even down to 10 percent would be wonderful, but 5 I think would be optimal. Please consider changing this.

Only good for single level homes. I have a two story home and each time after mapping the 2nd story and try to open it again I get “failed to retrieve maps” message. It’s like it can only save one map at a time. Also, I would like to see some sort of optional pop up reminder from the app about emptying the dirty water tank after each mopping session (one that is persistent but that you can hit “snooze”). The water gets so smelly and gross after sitting for more than a day.

Amazing Device, Terrible App Experience. I absolutely love the Roborock device itself—it’s efficient, reliable, and makes my life so much easier. However, the app experience has been disappointing. Being forced to watch a timed advertisement before I can use a product I paid a significant amount of money for feels like terrible user experience. It’s one thing to have optional ads in a free app, but gating access to essential features of a premium product with ads is unacceptable. The app should enhance the experience, not frustrate users. I hope Roborock reconsiders this approach, as it undermines an otherwise stellar product.

Great for pet owners. Really does a great job particularly with dog paw prints on the hard wood. Vacuum has great suction for dog hair. Hasn’t gotten stuck once unlike my old one that I constantly had to rescue from some place. Excellent customer service too. Had issue when I first started using it and they helped me troubleshoot the issue via phone. They sent me an email with photos and instructions to resolve the problem. Worth every penny I spent on it.

Love our Robo!. I love robo. I can dust, clean my bathrooms and he’s vacuuming my house and sometimes cleans the floors too. I can also work on my computer while he’s cleaning which is a great help! My house is a little big so he has to go back to the dock and recharge and then he will automatically take off and go and finish! He’s our little buddy! We are very pleased! We have both laminate floors and beautiful rugs which he cleans pretty good. Thank you, Robo! - Sharon H.

Make your registration process better. You can’t auto populate fields. You can’t use Apple to create a secure password for you. When I finally typed in a password, the ok button wouldn’t let me click it. I went to their website instead of the app to try, and got an error for too many requests... And now I have to rename my WiFi because it can’t handle special characters in the name. Off to a great start… turns out you have to turn off cellular data for it to connect. Found that on Reddit. Would be good if it was included in the instructions or troubleshooting section. Now that it’s working, I can go reconnect all my other devices to the new WiFi name. What an awful, awful product.

Fails to save room dividers. I bought an S7 Max V with the self filling and emptying dock At this point the app is useless, it fails to save Tom’s when you divide them, when you try to name a new room it keeps wanting to edit the existing room and never actually allows to select a new room. All I can do is full clean the entire house, no schedules, no specific rooms, no group of rooms. It won’t even allow the new feature of after meals to clean kitchen and dining because you can’t name them or divide them. Running the latest version of the software updated by developers a week ago. Had an S5 and the app and the robot worked great and as expected. Sorry I upgraded, May return to store as defective and go buy an older model. My daughter now has my old S5 and all features are still working great. I will give it a week to see if developer fix it, I still have 3 weeks where the store will take it back

Wow!. Can’t believe how good this thing works. Our first floor is mainly hardwood distressed floors with a ton of inconsistencies and heavy wood grain and such. I was worried about the mop pad snagging on the wood and how well it was going to clean. The S7 does a phenomenal job. It’s built like a tank and the App was done right too. Just wish we could have routines or favorites as I don’t clean on a schedule, more on an as needed basis. Do yourself a favor and if you’re on the fence about buying a RoboRock, do it!

I love this robot!. Very easy to set up, vacuums thoroughly. I love the do not disturb mode—it is loud when it empties itself, but I can run it silently and choose when to empty the bin. The dog doesn’t care about it, which I thought would be a problem. Much sturdier and better quality than the better known one, which was trash in comparison. The only struggle was deciding where to locate the base—it needs a three foot empty rectangular prism against a wall, with an outlet.

Map Keeps Changing In the Worst Ways. When I first got the Roborock S7 Ultra Max and downloaded the app - it was amazing. It quickly did a perfect scan of the house and the rooms were clearly defined. As the app has had updates, the rooms have changed on the map (rooms separated by walls merged into each other), sometimes the dock is put in an entirely different room on the map, and the robot can no longer do selective room cleaning because it goes to the wrong room or alleges it can’t find the room. It’s totally absurd. The app was perfect before. Whatever updates there have been had a very negative effect.

Roborock S7 Max. We received our S7 about a month ago. We have 2 large dogs with long hair and the vacuum does seem to keep up with their shedding. It would great if the company figured out the issue with their software so that individual rooms could easily be programmed into it. As of right now, their “edit room” function does not work so my kitchen, living room, dining room, hallway, and 1 bathroom are all considered 1 room. I cannot clean just my kitchen or living room, etc.

Removed Map Backup/Restore Ability. Loved this app until they removed the ability to save and backup maps. Unfortunately, there’s an issue with the robot wherein the maps tends to drift after several cleanings. The robot saves these updated and drifted maps which means no-go areas and room boundaries are no longer accurate. While this is not an issue with the app, the app used to provide the ability to restore a previously stored map as the default. Now that the restore functionality is missing, the robot needs to be “retrained” on a regular basis which defeats the purpose of having a smart vacuum. Please bring this functionality back!

WiFi roborock s5. I am extremely disappointed with the Roborock app. Despite following the instructions and consulting multiple guides, I have been unable to connect my device to WiFi. This issue is frustrating and unacceptable for a product that claims to offer convenience and cutting-edge technology. The connection process is overly complicated and consistently fails. Over the years, one would expect significant improvements, but little has been done. It's high time Roborock addresses these issues and updates their app to ensure a seamless connection process. I cannot recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable smart home device.

Spam notifications. The app itself works pretty well for controlling my Roborock vacuum. My rating is based on the push notification I received today, notifying me of my opportunity to win tickets to The Garfield Movie. “Complete the form for a chance to win tickets to exclusive advanced screenings of the Garfield movie!” This is a clear violation of App Store guidelines against using notifications for advertising. What’s more, it isn’t even advertising their own products or services. And unfortunately, I have to keep the notifications enabled, so I know when my robot vacuum gets stuck (every freaking time I run it).

Nearly perfect, couple bugs. Especially in comparison to my previous robot vacuums, this one’s intelligence and all control are quite good. One very annoying bug that I have is room creation in the map controls. Any time I try to divide the sections into actual rooms it fails on the app. I also wish the zone cleaning selection could choose more complex shapes instead of just squares as the lack of room creation means I have to use zones.

Been working well for years but now it hunts around. I've used the Roborock vacuum for over five years. Initially the app worked great and the vacuum ran like clockwork, cleaned and returned to the dock without any issues. Recently after some app updates etc. it's behavior is erratic. When it's supposed to clean one room, it wanders to a couple of other rooms not on the schedule and does this repeatedly after cleaning the first room. I have to trigger it manually to go back to the dock. It should know it's finished as the map indicates that it is, but for some reason it doesn't. It's not a room dividing issue as the colors indicate correctly which room is which (although the process of dividing rooms is no longer as easy as it was in the beginning - the app for some reason has a harder time separating rooms even if you use the dividing lines correctly than it did with the old app). When I trigger it to manually return to the dock it has no problem shutting off the vacuum and going directly back to the dock to recharge, so it's not a map or sensor issue.

Outstanding. Not perfect I guess But we love it. The vacuum always surprises us with how much it picks up. Particularly pet hair. I love that she goes under the bed. I thought she might be bothered by a throw rug with tassels But no. You do have to be careful to not leave notes or socks on the floor. I REALLY like the fact that she cleans in a logical pattern rather than a random walk. And, I must say, it is bit entertaining to see her working away

Works great with my S6 MaxV. Application works great with my S6 MaxV, it allows me to see the LIDAR scans and Reactive AI pictures (shoes, scales, etc.) that my vacuum has found on an easy to view map. I can set no-go zones, no mopping zones, and invisible barriers/walls with ease. Scheduling is pretty intuitive as well, I can customize what rooms should be mopped (and with how much water), how much suction should be used for each room. Additionally I can map additional floors of my home with ease. Firmware update added new features to my S6 MaxV this morning as well, no issues to report with my vacuum, firmware, or the app.

Best purchase of 2021!. I share with everyone I know what my best purchase was and why. This cleans so well and even though it’s almost like a child that you have to look out for to make sure it’s not running over something or getting stuck on area rugs, it’s all worth it when you see how clean your floor looks. I have an RV with a long hair cat and a long hair dog and I could not live without running this every day!

Impressive Robot Vacuum and Mop. Definitely a superior product to other robot vacuums and mops. I’ve tried. I’ve had the Roborock robot vacuum for five years and love them when I saw they came out with a vacuum and mop product. I wanted to try it. I bought two of them love the product I recommended them to quite a few friends recently. Who also love the product.

Let us overwrite the 20% low battery. Let use overwrite the low battery 20% down to 5-10%. The robot could finish actually cleaning my house in a other 5-10%. You must have actual data to back this from the thousand of robots around the world. The app seems to have downgraded in terms of performance. First the app always reload every time you leave it and come back. It does not update the position of the robot live. I have to go back to Home Screen and back. There is so many little bug and problems that I won’t discuss here. Lots of them are when you edit a room, split room, etc.

Couldn’t be happier. My wife bought this after we adopted our German Shepard. I didn’t think it would be enough to combat the shedding, but I was more than wrong. This vacuum has great power and is so easy to set up and get started. It mapped my house perfectly and now I can just push a button and my whole house is vacuumed and mopped. Very pleased with this purchase.

Works well with my Roborock S6. I originally used the Mi Home app and then saw some posts where this app works for the S6. It connected easily, transferred all my settings, and then deactivated my Roborock in Mi Home. Nice! The onboarding process was the same as Mi Home. So you do have to pay attention to what it is telling you to do as you step thru the process. This app works pretty much the same, but seems a bit more refined. I love being able to divide the rooms into zones and sending the robot to do specific rooms.

New S8 Max speed does not live up to its expectations. Lotta problems with the new S8 Max V advertise 140° water does not exist very limited on how many rooms you can name for the new S8 Max very complicated to divide the rooms. Also, the new trade-in policy is a total joke. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve contacted to try and find out what my trade-in is worth or when I will be receiving the funds for it the promised gifts I doubt I will ever see them, I have been an owner of the Roborock for three years now the S7 Max fee was a total joy. However, the new eight the Verde is still out. I hope they get all the situations and problems corrected.

So limited and cumbersome. First: why the app allows only four maps? There is so much computational power nowadays. Are the programmers lazy? My house has a weird structure and it facilitates saving different areas as different maps. Allowing just 4 maps makes it very difficult for me. Second: why not allow to temporarily deactivate no-go zones? This is a no brainer… I set no-go zones where I have fragile items. Periodically I remove them to clean there as well, but the fact that I have to remove the no-go zone manually and then have to draw another one makes it much more difficult. These two things could be easily fixed in the app if the programmers cared a little more about what their clients need. Very disappointing.

Aesthetic, responsive and comprehensive app. I have had a Roomba before buying Roborock. The Roborock vaccuum and the app are so much better. The app is easy to use and navigate. All options are very intuitive to use. The amount of features is amazing! You can view your home with the Roborock app if you have a camera, start spot clean, or clean by room. Maps are easy to save as well.
