This app provides, using temperature, altitude, humidity, atmospheric pressure and your engine configuration and fuel type, a recommendation about best jetting (carburetor configuration) and spark plug to use for Yamaha 2-strokes MX bikes (YZ and PW models).
This app can obtain automatically the position and altitude to get the temperature, pressure and humidity from the nearest weather station thought internet. Internal barometer is used on supported devices for better precision. If more accuracy is needed, a portable weather station can also be used. Application can run without GPS, WiFi and internet, in this case user has to give the weather data manually.

The application contains four tabs, which are described next:
• Results: In this tab main jet, needle type, needle position, pilot jet, air screw position, throttle valve size, spark plug are shown. These data are calculated depending on the weather conditions and the engine configuration given in the next tabs.
This tab lets do a fine tuning adjustment for all this values to adapt to the concrete engine.
Besides this jetting information, the air density, density altitude, relative air density, SAE - dyno correction factor, station pressure, SAE- relative horsepower, volumetric content of oxygen, oxygen pressure are shown too.
On this tab, you can also share your settings with your colleagues, or add settings to your favorites.
You can also see in a graphic form the calculated ratio of air and fuel (lambda).
• History: This tab contains the history of all carburetor setups. If you change the weather, or engine setup, or fine tuning, the new setup will be saved in history.
This tab also contains your favorite settings.
• Engine: You can configure in this screen the information about the engine, that is, engine model, year, spark manufacturer, fuel type, oil mix ratio.
• Weather: In this tab, you can set the values for current temperature, pressure, altitude and humidity.
Also this tab allows to use the GPS to get the current position and altitude, and connect to an external service (you can choose one weather data source from several possible) to get the weather conditions of the nearest weather station (temperature, pressure and humidity).
In addition, this application can work with a pressure sensor built into the iPhone. You can see if it is available on your device and turn it on or off.
Also, on this tab, you can manually select any place in the world, the carburetor setups will be adapted for this place.
Moreover, on this tab, you can enable alerts about possible carburetor icing.

Jetting Yamaha app. Would like to see more data and support. For instance im using an older engine, but with keihin pwk. But I have to choose a 2002. And doesnt pwk make more than one mm size? Will this app continue to get updates and data entries? Im also running a br8eg, but It auto fills in a ngk br10eg. I would have loved to give this 3 stars, but at this point im saving most people from spending the money cause I havent seen or heard of any further updates. Seems un-completed and leaves a lot to desire.

Pump gas option needed!. I live in NV, and I would love to see normal pump Gas options on the fuel list, instead of only specialty fuels. Impressed with the layout and info given. Very clear and precise.
Best $6.00 I’ve Ever Spent. I’ve been riding & racing motorcycles for almost 50 years. This takes all the guess work out of jetting my YZ250 2-Smoker. I actually thought I was pretty good at setting up my bike. This made it even better. What I like most is being able to use a specific location (as in going to a new place to ride, with different elevation, weather, humidity, etc). I didn’t leave this review until I’ve used this for 4 different riding locations, and changed jetting slightly for 3 of them. Made a significant jetting change for one of the locations, but what they all had in common, bike ripped. Clean jetting, no pipe drool, super crisp! Thankfully I have tons of mains and pilot jets. 3 different heat ranges on spark plugs and several carb needles. If you have what’s needed, your bike will run perfect!
Useful app. I’ve downloaded all jetting apps for MX bikes from the developer and are quite good for tune up your dirt bike.

Great!. Used for my 2002 YZ125. Went from slobbering to clean and crisp with apps suggestion for idle screw & pilot. Now to change the main to apps suggestion. I run from -30 to +30 celsius and also have a 2004 RM250 that I do the same. This app in my pocket will save time and frustration and give me more time on the seat smilin’. Only suggestion, temp only goes down to -20 celsius. I get it though, who would be daft enough to ride in -30.

YZ250 Dailed in.. App work great. My YZ has a porting and polish performance head. Pipe and silencer. The jetting recommendation made it the cherry on the top of my build highly recommended. I doubled checked specs from Pro Circuit , FMF and JD jetting. To make sure and it was spot on. Worth everything penny.
