Dangerous. Calorie recommendations are dangerously low and not accurate to any up to date science. Don’t use this app!

Good app but takes getting used to. The interface is kinda weird and it took a while for me to learn to navigate it. But it’s not filled with ads and doesn’t pressure me into a subscription. It’s a great alternative to My Fitness Pal. Regarding users saying there aren’t a lot of food options. I would go ahead and make custom food entries for things you eat often. That way it functions virtually the same as other apps where the food is saved and you can add when you want. Once you get used to doing that it’s a wonderfully simple app.

Nice simple app. This app is so easy it is enjoyable I have only tried the free version for about a week I plan to upgrade

Great way to track what you are eating!. I’m really happy with how easy the app is to use. Five Stars!

Recommendation. I wish it was possible to write the number of things instead of the weight. Like two eggs insteed of 50gr.

Poor UI design; no barcode scanning of foods. There seem to be three options in calorie counting apps: Subscriptions. No. Just NO!! Expensive in-app purchase for “lifetime” full features Free app with bad design This one is in category 3. The UI is nonstandard UI elements (inconsistent to iOS API elements, weird behaviors, etc; typical of lone developer trying to reinvent the GUI wheel for their free, cross-platform hobby app), thin/small lines/text, low contrast (though you can change the background, you can’t change the rest), and just generally utterly alien to iOS. Also, this app requires users to enter their own foods OR have wildly inaccurate calorie estimates. There’s no barcode scanning for prepackaged foods on the market. If the UI were excellent, I’d be willing to enter my own foods, but the UI is NOT excellent. I’m not going to waste my time.

New to app. Just started to use app today and thankful for the help it provides in tracking the nutritional value of food choices.

fix itt. it’s a great app but the the day of the week is not matching the date and it is driving me crazy.

WELL THATS MY AGE. I put 14 because I am 14 and it refused to let me continue. I’m sorry I’m young and want to better my self.

You can make it work, but it’s not seamless. Limited foods pre-programmed. Hard to search for a specific food. Somehow I got the units stuck on oz, so when I add a new food, I have to calculate the nutrition info into oz even though the label is in g. If there is a way to switch this in settings, it’s unclear. The units on progress charts are not consistent. For example, if you typically eat 1500 calories, and eat 1800 calories the next day, the graph will look like the 1800 calorie day was double the 1500 (even though it’s clearly not).

This Isn’t MyFitnessPal. … and I’m totally fine with that. This app is great for tracking calories and/or the foods you eat in a day. It’s fabulous for logging exercise and calories burned and offers timelines of progress for both. If you’re wanting ultra specific food categories/options, an app that does all the work for you by scanning barcodes, etc, then this isn’t the app for you. Are there things that could be improved? Definitely. HOWEVER. It’s a free, simple to use app that can be used as an at-a-glance calories in/calories out diary that doesn’t require an account and a pint of blood to utilize. Personally, it’s almost exactly what I was looking for and thanks to their ‘create your own food’ option, I’ve been able to tailor it to what I need. If you’re already eating healthier and are mainly looking to keep an eye on what’s going in, what’s going out, maybe loose some weight in the process, then I highly recommend.

Great app. It’s a great app because I can track my calories and see how much calories

Free and pretty functional, but limited. The logo is funny.

Can’t do anything. Any time I try to go to a different tab an ad pops up setting me back to the home page, I click on the tab again and same thing in a loop

Not good for entering your own foods. No scanning for quick entry. When manually entering it forces YOU to do all the math because it only accepts entries per 100g. It should have you enter the info as it appears on the label and enter the serving size. As it is it’s too time consuming/annoying to use if you use anything other than the suggested foods.

Non-stop game adds. This app constantly reroutes to suggested games. Not with the download…removed within 5 minutes of starting.

Not user friendly. I would like to select the repetitive food entries. If there’s a way it’s not east to find.

Loving it 😸. So far so good. I love how it has you plug in your information, and tell you the calories you’re allowed a day to reach your goal weight. I have done calorie counting diets before, always grossly underestimate how many calories I am allowed a day. Which sets me up to fail lol. 10 out of 10 would recommend this app 😸.

Food list. Hello I just got the app and so far I like it but there are some foods that are not listed that I eat like sliced turkey or the type of cheese I ate.

Did not work. The program kept blinking off. Alternately, I’d get a pop-up of cartoons/games and would have to wait 30 seconds or so for that to go away. Ultimately did not have foods that I eat. I think this is gear toward a European market. I used to have an app called MyPlate, which had every food item under the sun, but I cannot find that anymore. I do not recommend this app.

App Info. So far it’s great, but, I cannot figure out how to delete a good entry! I added the wrong food item. Entered the correct one. Now it shows I had double when in fact I did not.

Review. Can’t read screen due to poor color choices

It’s kinda good. It’s kind of hard to use this app because u have to measure out all your food. I didn’t like it very much. It’s very had to keep track of.

Good but…. I’ve been using this app for a few days already and it doesn’t seem so bad though, it would be better improved if there was more access on the free one. I can’t really do much and it doesn’t really make much sense to me how to really use it. I can’t either see what I have added in for each day. So annoying! Though if you have the money then its probably worthwhile.

Eh. Limited food options and can be hard to navigate for new users

Not user friendly. Not enough food options and

Not user friendly. Doesn’t look like user friendly difficulty to check things

Unusable. Ads fill screen, never stop. Impossible to use. Tapping anywhere just clicks on the ad.

Too simplistic. It way over-estimated on number of daily calories, carbs, fat. It would be better if it had option to enter my own self determined daily calories, carbs, etc. Food count is whole day; no per meal counts; per meal counts would allow one to do one’s own detailed analysis of times of day, etc.

It’s great. I really like this app, it is pretty simple to use and it is pretty, the only issue I have is that it has basic names for the food not specific brands or types. And the measuring system is kinda confusing but I figured it out. Other thank that it’s pretty and easy to use.

Limited food list. The first food I tried to log – an English muffin – isn’t in the list of foods. This seems like a pretty basic item, so I’m assuming I won’t be able to find most of what I eat and won’t be using this app.

Awkward. Good premise, but needs work. 1. I want to enter my physical stats in Lbs/"/oz. But almost all foods are measured in g/mg/ml. What unit of measurement I use in my calorie estimates is used for everything else. Thus, after entering my physical stats in Lbs/"/oz I have to change it to Kg/cm/g for the food portion to work without having to convert every entry. You need to separate the physical stats units from the food units. 2. Entering your own food: Works okay except when you select the optional Extra Units. Once you enter and save, it returns to the primary create food screen, but won't allow you to scroll up to see the "Create Food" button. You basically have to cancel the program and remove it from the background to recover. I would add in all the items on the nutritional tag on the main screen, and mimic the order. A suggestion… add in an option to scan the UPC barcode to grab the nutritional information from the web if available. It would make entering your own food easier. 3. As someone else commented, you need an easier means to edit a created food or even delete it. It seems the only place to do this is when you are adding it to your meals. The three dot option should be to Manage Foods, which would then allow you to create, edit, or delete. 4. Meals (the fork & knife icon): I'm really not sure how this is supposed to work. If I've already created a food, it is recorded as a serving size. I shouldn't have to further indicate how many units of weight I'm eating, but rather the number of servings I'm having. This is more logical. I'm not sure what selecting the "More Options" & "Delete Food" is supposed to do as it doesn't seem to delete it from anywhere. Same with the option to "Edit Food"… it doesn't seem to edit the original food created, nor does it change anything you have already entered for your meal. You need an option to simply list foods by name without the icons (or reduce the icon size). I can see this screen getting really big. I found it confusing to enter items for what I thought was a meal and not have them displayed that way. It wasn't until I tapped the circular "Daily Calories" on the main screen that I saw what I had entered and was able to remove the items I duplicated inadvertently. It would be much nicer to group things by meals (and snacks). All in all a good start, but I'm afraid I won't be continuing to use it at this point. Good luck.

All I have been looking for. This app has everything I have been looking for…terrific!

Small. The writing is so small I can’t see anything

Useful and simple. A while back I wrote a very positive review for this app and recommended it to users. It lacked a good food database, or nice interface, or extensive functionality. But there was no subscription, no tracking, no annoying ads. It still did a decent job if one took the time to enter food info themselves. To support the developer’s work I purchased the paid “Pro” version. It added nothing of use, but it is only fair for people to be compensated for what they create. Today, things turned 180 degrees with the new version. Tracking creeps in, ads are as bad and obtrusive as they can be, no useful functionality added, and no updates to the Pro version for paying users. Very sad development… I guess I was wrong to support this app.

Waist if time and PRO not worth the money. Very very limited on food and weight options not easy to creat own food. App calculations are way off and it don’t let you set your calories per day

Difficult to use. This software is difficult to use from the start. I tried the free (and doubted it) and hoped the PRO would be better. It’s not. Getting around to do various things might come in time, but it is not intuitive. Creating a good is forced to be at 100, so if you are adding, let’s say cereal, and the box shows that it is based on a 59g serving, you have to recalculate everything to 100g, then when you add it to your day, you have to enter 59g to get it to work out correctly. You can’t enter the number of servings either (because it forces you to drop a serving size). Editing a food is hit or miss. If you try to change something, there is no SAVE button, only another EDIT button, and that may or may not save the changes. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Disappointed. Food entry is too time consuming and frustrating

Useful, but limited foodstuff entry selection. I love using this application, but I often find that I cannot find an entry for something that I eat. For example, I eat a lot of vegan chicken strips, but there is no entry selection for many vegan or vegetarian alternatives, so I have to find an entry that is as similar as possible, like a veggie burger. Overall, this app is nonjudgmental and effective for logging calories, even though more entries for different types of food would be greatly appreciated.

Nope. The daily calorie limit it set for me is terrifyingly low. Not sure how they calculate that but it is not even close. This is very scary and could promote people to under eat or even encourage restrictive eating disorders. The only “people” who should be eating 1200 calories a day are toddlers (seriously, look it up). Also the interface of this app is sketchy looking at best. I uninstalled this so fast. Please don’t use this garbage.

Great app!. Easy to use and covers all the basics without fees. Also, calorie estimates are quite accurate (compared to container labels), which has not been the case with many other calorie apps that I’ve used. The only thing that I could wish for is Apple Health integration - but this is a new app so presumably that will come with time.

Good calorie app!. Like it very much, working my way through it, but overall very pleased. The colorful exercises are nice, and vivid! Its free and thankful since I can’t pay at this time like with a lot of these apps. Thank you so much!!

Everything I need + private. March 2023: I think some of the negative reviews are targeted and purposefully misrepresent the features of this app. Given the privacy invading scope of data-collecting and selling by the biggest name app (do they really need to track me financially and other undefined “sensitive data”?), I decided to ditch it and look for something else. I am delighted to have found this app. It integrates with Apple Health, has convenient reminders, and even a little game with which you can distract yourself, if you’re feeling the urge to snack. After one day of use, I realize that the free version has everything I personally need, but I paid for the Pro version anyway, as a thank you to the developer. You can put in your stats and goals, search for foods, create your own foods, create and save the ingredients of recipes or regular meals (“mix ingredients”), edit them, define your desired macros and track them, select from a wide array of exercises and enter them, and if you pay the small one-time fee for Pro, you can also track water and add additional details to food (beyond fat, carbohydrates and protein). There are five types of statistics in all (calories, exercise, macros, weight, and water). Also, when you search for something you get one result, instead of potentially dozens that you waste your time picking through, and then report for inaccuracies and edit half the time anyway. No, this does not have a convenient barcode scanner, but I’m willing to make that trade off for my privacy.

Very dangerous. I just input my information. I’ve done this on a few other apps and they’ve all said I need about 1300 calories. This app says 1000 calories! That’s literally starvation.

Really odd interface. I could live with entering my own food. For $4.99, though, I expect a more user-friendly interface. For example, I can see no way to edit a day’s food diary once a food is entered. If I entered a food in error, I expect to be able to delete it. And, if there’s a way to copy a day’s entry to another day, I can’t find it. If an app is difficult to use, I won’t use it at all, let alone a few times a day day to track food

Got updated to show broken adds. This mobile calorie counting application was recently updated to show the user ads each time they add calories. These ads do not have an exit button meaning I have to just restart the app to get the add to go away. Avoid this app.

Good. A very good app! Lots of food, workout, and other options to choose from! Would definitely recommend:)

Good, more ingredients would be nice. More raw, canned or pantry ingredients would be nice. It would make it easier when you make your own chili, saghetti sauce or curry to calculate the calories. Considering that the app is free, I think it’s fine however. I’ll add a similar or related ingredient and add however much to get to the calories on the can, so you can also do without pretty easily

TROP DE PUB. J’utilisais l’application depuis quelque mois. Elle était parfaite. Mais maintenant ils ont ajouté des pubs et c’est devenu horrible ! Un click , une pub ! Pire que les autres applications que j’ai délaissé pour cette raison.

Love this app. Really really good application, you gotta try it!!

Always adds. Non stop adds, unusable. You select food, add, click to select another food, add. Go to settings add. Awful.

Small error. It’s a good app and I like it, but for some reason the days are one day behind, for example it says “Wednesday, February 8th” when it is February 7th, but it’s a Thursday

Changed review. I was incorrect, updating my review

Love it. Most awesome app!! Just wanted you to know the exercise tracker is not working. Previous day is always in the next day even if you change the day of the week. Can we get a fix ?!

Overall good but. Its good app but asking weight for eggs is not a good app design. For eggs the input needs to be in numbers of eggs but not weight.

Review. Easy to use, doesn’t make you pay for a subscription to count calories which is so nice! But I do wish the food categories were a little more specific

Merci. Merci , Cela m’aide à me conditionner

Ads make it unusable. Was good. Now it get an ad to sit through every time I click anything. Deleted it

Easy to use. Thanks to this app I feel good at the end of day knowing I didn’t eat more than I need. Especially useful during CV19 Lockdown!!!
