Cause

1 in 5 children do not have access to enough food for an active, healthy lifestyle. Vizer is on a mission to change that.

All meals earned on Vizer are powered by corporate sponsors and distributed by community partners. Sponsors donate through a participating non-profit, which sources and distributes the meal to communities combating food insecurity.

--

Distribution

Meals earned on Vizer are distributed by partnered food banks to populations combating food insecurity. Vizer supports both independent food banks and food banks in the Feeding America network.

--

Compatibility

Vizer pairs with Apple HealthKit to track your activity. We track your steps through your iPhone or a compatible wearable.

The exercise minute challenge is only compatible with Apple Watch and Fitbit. Stay tuned as we will be unrolling additional integrations this winter!

AMAZING APP. I have had the app for a couple months now. The idea behind the app is amazing! Who wouldn’t want to work out knowing that they can be donating a meal to someone in need!! That’s great. It also help to hold me accountable to my daily exercise time. It’s the best idea that anyone has come up with. Getting to notification that I’ve donated a meal just makes me feel so excited about doing well for the community and helping others.

Good karma motivation!. Who doesn’t to do a little extra good in their community? Vizer makes it easy- one click and I can donate a meal locally, just by doing my regular workout at home. You can also get credit/donate a meal by walking 10,000 steps over the course of the day, if you’re not the workout type. For all of us who want to do some good in the world but don’t always have the time to volunteer, this is an easy yes.

Great Motivation!. I’m typically a number person so I keep myself active by obtaining a numerical goal during yhe day. That’s why my sister recommended that I download Vizer! It’s great to know that I’m able to assist someone else by also helping myself out a little. If you’re looking to stay active this is a good effortless way to track your progress and stay motivated.

A great way to encourage exercise. I am not at all the work out type. I know lots of benefits of it, but constantly struggling to keep the habit. Vizer is a rewarding feeling after each workout to keep it going. It’s good for you. It’s good for someone else. Vizer also help me aware of cute brands I’ve never heard of before. And the new update with healthy meal articles is such a nice touch.

Review. I love this app. It is very easy to use and I like that I am able to serve others. I wish that one of the tracking options was for a Garmin device. I do not have an Apple Watch or a FitBit and find that the step tracking in my phone is not as accurate as my watch and my phone does not track when I have worked out for 30 minutes. But like I said earlier I love this app and will continue to use it.

Good for you, good for the community!. I downloaded this app because I was looking for an easy way to give back to the community and it’s perfect! After signing up for free, I stick my phone in my pocket and it does everything else. I feel really good about accomplishing my goal at the end of the day and having a meal donates has surprisingly been really motivating for me to take multiple long walks per day. Definitely get this app! You’ll feel like a better human at the end of each day.

Love / Needs work. I love love love this app! I think it’s the best idea Ever of pushing people to be healthy while giving back! My only negative feeling about the app is the inconsistency with it working. There are so many times where I have hit my 10,000 step count go to open the app and it malfunctions. I’ll try and try and try opening it again, restart my phone, etc. and still not working. It’s temperamental on when it wants to work properly! Just wish I could give back a little more! Other than that, I’ll keep using when I can!

Feeling good and doing good. Love this app. It’s sometimes that last little bit of motivation I need to get a workout in or just to make sure I complete my exercise goal for the day. Love that my workout is good for me but has added value in helping feed somebody in my community. On top of that, I get rewarded with treats from local vendors. It’s a win all around! Thank you for the work you do Vizer!

In principle 5 stars. It’s new and I think growing but love the idea of it. Would be super if you didn’t have to remember to login and it was just synced with your phone... guess that’s not how things work tho! Also would be great if it synced with more devices (garmin etc). Would also be great if there were bigger redemptions than it seems like a drink or pastry. However it does what it’s supposed to and works very well where it does.

Was good - now advertisements block logging your donation. I have been happy using Vizer with walking and physical activity helping against food insecurity, having donated nearly 380 meals. UPDATE: the hollowing has been corrected: Now when you open the app, an advertisement blocks you being able to log/donate your meal, without even an “x” to close the ad. Please add in an easy way to close the advertisement so as to be more user friendly. If not, i hope the money from the advertising goes to the meals because you will lose users. U

Workout motivation and Helping others. I just learned about this company and my experience so far is fantastic. When a participant works out 30 minutes or 10,000 steps, a company donates a meal through Feeding America to someone in need. What a fabulous concept. I am so happy to participate and it has given me a little extra motivation to get my workouts in. I shared this with one of the trainers at the YNCA where I work out and she signed up and is going to share with her clients too. The company had reached out to me several times since I started and made me feel like part of a great community too. I highly recommend participating.

Great concept. Overall great concept, however, having rewards is incentivizing, but not when there’s few options to actually redeem your points. Wish there were more options at different locations & different products! I know that’s probably way easier said than done, but just some feedback! Thanks for your app & giving back!!

Vizer. I started using this app for the month of November through Orange Theory Fitness! For every workout I do this month I can donate a meal through the app (& I work out A LOT) 🙌🏻 it feels so great to put my workout towards something other than letting off some steam. I’m going to keep using this app past the month of November and donate meals for those who need them. Great app & great concept.

Great cause but looking forward to Garmin integration. I love doing this but it doesn’t sync well with my Garmin and the iPhone so I end up doing double what it required to donate. For example To get 10,000, today, I ran a 5k in the snow, went shopping and needed 30 minutes on an exercise bike. The 30 minutes doesn’t count. I needed a 10K run the first day to make the mark with this app. Which is all good because it makes me work harder to help someone in need.

Great idea! Still needs work though. I’ve used this app for years, I’ve donated 320 meals so far. I’ve never redeemed any of my points (with COVID I didn’t feel comfortable using my points for free food/drinks, I’m happy using the app just so I can donate meals). Also, I ordered a lot of food online since restaurants were closed down for a while, so I wouldn’t know how to redeem my points online. I live in San Diego and love that the company originated out of here, so I love supporting them. The app itself looks cool but sometimes it stops working while it’s trying to gather my data for the day via my Apple Watch. I’d say this happens 30% of the time. What I would love is to be able to redeem points at fitness studios. (ex: 50 points gets you a class at orange theory). Love the idea of this app and recommend it!

Great Cause and good for me too. I don’t remember where I saw a note about Vizer, perhaps Huffington post or morning brew, newsletters I get each day via email. I am so glad I joined just a few days ago. I have gotten in more than 10,000 steps each of those days and has given away 11 meals in 11 days so far. There is absolutely no downside. If you need an incentive to walk 10,000 steps or more, the website will help you there. I did not need that incentive because I do it anyway. But being able to help provide food and especially critical need in the pandemic and with all the in equity. Makes me feel really good. So glad the app is available. I highly recommend it. My daughter joined right after me and I am putting it on my husband’s phone as well. Will tell all my friends about it too.

BEST APP!!. I have been using Vizer for a while now (almost 300 meals donated!) and I am obsessed! I tell everyone who will listen to download the app, I think it’s such an amazing concept that I truly believe in. I’m a nurse and most of us hit 10k steps on a normal work day so why not give back to our community in the process. I’ve been through many updates with Vizer and the app keeps getting better and better. The “current streak” feature always motivates me to get a workout in when I’m feeling lazy. My only suggestion is to broaden the places to redeem the points. It seems like most options are in north county and I live all the way in la Mesa so I always forget to use those points. But it always seems like they are adding new sponsors so I love that. Thanks vizer!

Vizer makes doing good things easy. If you’re already working out, this is a no-brainer. 30 minutes of tracked activity allows you to donate a meal to someone in need. If you aren’t working out yet, this may offer you just the motivation you need. All you need to do is track 30 minutes of activity, advisor allows you to donate a sponsored meal to someone in need. It doesn’t need to be running or walking, although 10,000 steps will automatically qualify you to donate that meal. It’s just 30 minutes of any tract activity via Apple Watch or other activity tracker.

Restaurants don’t honor credits. I’ve been using this app for over a year. I have accrued many credits and rarely used them. However every time I have tried to use them the featured restaurants’ employees have no idea about their partnership with this app and will not honor the offer. I experienced an extremely rude and argumentative manager at Tocaya (one of the only restaurants in partnership with Vizer near me) who refused to acknowledge this partnership despite me showing her the screen where this is very clearly spelled out. I start to wonder if meals are even being donated when I use this app. Why is this information not being passed down to employees that are supposed to be dealing with this simple transaction? I’ve reported this issue in the app every time it has happened and have received zero response or acknowledgment.

Good but could be great. I love the concept of Vizer and it pleases me, especially during the pandemic, to regularly help those experiencing food insecurity. The one criticism/suggestion I would make is that the app should sync to your exercise app without having to open Vizer. I’ve missed donating several times because I forgot to open the app or got diverted and didn’t sync. At minimum Vizer, which clearly can see your exercise data, should be able to look at your exercise history and ask if you wish to donate on days when you met your goals but haven’t yet donated.

Concept great need to work bugs out. My friend asked me to download this app as his college friends developed it, I believe. The concept of donating meals for working out sounded great...why not, right? Two issues I have: 1) you have to open the app every day for ur “movements” to register and 2) I use a Garmin and the link up with Apple Health was no accurate at all. For instance yday I took 20k steps and it only captured 9.5k so no meal was donated. I passed this feedback on to my friend who in turn sent it to the developer and i know they know of the issues and are feverishly working to make the app better and more user friendly. I remain a user and guinea pig and hope the kinks are worked out

Great app!. This app is an excellent tool that inspires daily fitness and gives the incentive of helping those in need! All you have to do is exercise for 30min a day, log into the app, and one of their partners will donate a meal on your behalf. Plus you earn points that you can utilize at local restaurants and other health related places. Can’t get much better then that!

Motivated.... You bet! How about you?. Have you been looking app that motivates you to get in shape, or just workout for 30 minutes everyday. Have you been looking for a way to donate meals to those in need? Well lucky for us the Vizer app does both. I absolutely LOVE that for every 30 minute workout I do or I get 10,000 steps in my day that a meal will be donated to those that are need of it. Thank you to Vizer app for making this possible and for me ready to get in shape. God Bless and lets “make hunger sweat”!

Nice idea, the app could use some work.... It’s a great incentive to stay active, however the app itself could use a lot of work. It’s very glitchy at times. I don’t know how many times I get network errors or script errors, I get reminders when there’s a few hours left in the day even though I already donated my meal for the day, when I open the app I get multiple notifications that I’ve reached my activity but I don’t get those notifications before actually opening the app which kind of defeats the purpose. But, I still use it and it’s kept me active for over a month now so the benefits outweigh the glitches.

Great App/Some improvements needed. I love this app, especially great for my active lifestyle. I would really love to see a connection with Garmin since I have a watch and use that to track all of my exercises. My Garmin does connect to Apple Health, but always seems to glitch (steps are never accurate and 30 minutes workouts don’t convert under the same label). I have done multiple 30 minute runs, but don’t hit 10,000 steps so my activity is not counted. Yesterday I hit about 11,000 steps on my Garmin, but Apple Health only had 9,700 so I had to walk around my apt to hit the last 300. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise I am satisfied.

Great and huge potential!. I love the mission behind the app and how the users know the partner company (Chobani for example) that is providing the meal to the food distributed (Feeding America for example). I would like to know more information about how this works and also more information about the background of Vizer. In terms of how the app functions, I would like to see a broader range of gyms you partner with. I live in a small town so I understand why my small gym doesn’t show up on your radar. I also don’t have a FitBit or Apple Watch so I’m using the app solely off my phone tracking steps which works well enough. However, I get 30 active minutes almost every day but I’m not able to donate a meal that much because the current range doesn’t accept my gym as a partner and tracking active minutes with my current platform isn’t feasible. All in all, I have the capability to be donating a lot more meals and I would love to do so! I would to see a way for your team to expand these options!

Favorite App!!!. This app is amazing - my favorite app I have on my phone. Every day that you walk 10,000 steps or workout for 30 minutes you can donate a meal to your local food bank! On days where I don’t want to move my body, this app is my motivation to get up and get my workout in because it will benefit someone else! Nothing bad to say about an app that makes helping others so easy!!

You better get this app!!!. Honestly, I might be this apps biggest free advertiser. I cannot stop telling everyone I know to download it!! It’s super easy to use because once you’re connected, there’s nothing left for you to do other than press the “donate a meal” button. I don’t even care about not getting the rewards, I just love how easy Vizer has made it for every person to give back.

Great cause + Awesome motivator!. I love this concept so much that I got a fitbit specifically so that I could track my steps since I rarely have my phone on me! It’s not perfect, but what technology is? It’s amazing how much a little motivation goes a long way! My partner and I regularly end our days with a jog around the house to get our remaining steps when we’ve had slower days or our step tracking has gone awry. I appreciate that it’s easier to get all of my steps in when there is an added incentive for others! I’ve been telling everyone I know to use the app!

Team Vizer all the way!. Vizer is part of my daily app usage. I could not say enough good things about not only the app but the story behind what Vizer is for. I have been using visor for a little over a year in which I have been able to donate almost 200 meals just by working out. The app is really easy to use, navigate, and track just how much of an impact each person makes. I have an Apple Watch so that is what I use to track my steps and workout activity for the daily meal donation. I live in San Diego and there are so many fitness centers, gyms, fitness classes, and restaurants that have partnered with Vizer. I haven’t been able to sign up for classes that I may have never before and eat places with perks that I may never have visited if not for Vizer communication via the app and email is always consistent, informative, and fun! Last year there was a Vizer challenge in which it pushed me to do even more for the app and team! The app is always up to date and I’ve never had glitches or issues. My one recommendation would be Vizer merch and continuing with competitions- it keeps people motivated! Thanks for all you do, team Vizer!

Such a great concept!. Love this app and being able to give back to my community by simply working out. Who needs more motivation than that to get moving?! One feature that would be helpful is a push notification from the app when you’ve hit a goal asking if you want to donate. I’ve met my goal almost everyday since downloading the app, but I’ve definitely forgotten to date on a few occasions. A friendly reminder would be great!

Awesome, wish previous days would sync. Love this app and it has so much potential now that it is nationwide. Only thing I would change is that it would be helpful if you could sync exercise/steps from previous days, instead of having to log in every day. I often forget even though I made my 10k steps, and then I miss donating a meal! On the east coast so local rewards aren’t set up yet, but I’m already motivated for the philanthropic goal. This app has lots of potential!

Great program for the community and me. Vizer is an innovative app that allows me to be “awarded” for daily exercise while being rewarded by sponsoring meals through generous donors for hungry people in my community. It requires nothing more of me other than logging in so the Vizer system syncs with my health tracker each day. If I walk 10,000 steps or exercise 30 minutes, a meal is donated! It is motivating for me to get moving and I love seeing the daily total of meals donated! And at one time, when I had a problem with the site not syncing, I notified the developers and they fixed it within 48 hours. I wish everyone would sign onto Vizer!*

Suggestions. First off I want to say that I love this app. It actually communicates with my Apple Watch with no known unexpected behaviors occurring. I love their mission to feed the hungry just by doing something I do everyday for free. With that being said I have two suggestions. 1. Accumulate the Apple Watch data so that we can go in the app days later and donate, just in case we forget that day . 2. Give us an option to donate to animal shelters . People love animals as much as humans , maybe even more lol! Animal shelters are in desperate need of food and supplies and this would be a great way to help them. Anyways these are my suggestion, keep up the great work :)

Download and donate!. It’s that EASY! I can’t think of a better way to motivate yourself to continue to live a healthy lifestyle by exercising 30 minutes per day or getting 10k steps and donating a meal to our local foodbank. I’ve been using this app since March after hearing about it through OTF. Seeing my meal donations add up, is positive reinforcement to keep moving! Looking forward to redeeming my food reward points too! Congrats on hitting over 175k meal donations! That’s a huge impact and needed during these trying times! Congrats on expanding your circle of influence nationwide too!

Cool concept. I initially downloaded the app purely for the concept, which is unique and inspiring on its own. I feel so much better about my workouts knowing I’m also helping make a difference by donating a meal to those in need. I didn’t realize there was more to the app like getting rewarded by businesses as well. Unfortunately, there are no businesses in my area at all that are involved at this point, so I have been unable to test that part out. I am still using the app for the sole reason I downloaded it: to donate meals after a workout. I wish that the app could sync up to past workouts in case I forget to log onto the app that day and donate. I also hope they build more relationships with businesses all over.

Good but fix notifications. I like the app generally, think the purpose and donation is great, and the notification I get asking whether I’ve met my goals and to remind me to donate if so is perfectly. But I hate that whenever I personally go to open the app because I DO already have 30 minutes or 10K steps, it then sends me a notification after the fact - “congrats on hitting X, open the app to donate”. And I get 1-2 of those in a row. It’s like, yes, I got it, that’s why I opened the app in the first place so why are you sending me these messages now? It’s a useless notification and pretty annoying. I use a Fitbit if that helps.

I Iove Vizer!. A friend shared with me about the Vizer app because she knows I love to be active and walk. I try to reach at least 10,000 steps a day. Having the opportunity to do that and donate a meal fits right in with my mission in life, being a health and wellness advocate! So, of course, I jumped at the opportunity. It gives me the motivation to get my steps in and stay active everyday. I have shared with several people who also thought this was a great idea! Thank you, Vizer, for creating this! I love it!!

Great concept!. I love this app and all that they stand for! I think it’s super cool! I would just say that it would be cool to be able to connect your Garmin watch to the app. I don’t have an Apple Watch or a Fitbit since I use A Garmin watch, so right now I have to sync it with my iPhone, but I don’t always carry my phone on me to show I get 10,000 steps. So I would say the only improvement would be to enable you to connect more than just an Apple Watch or Fitbit.

Super easy way to help someone out. I happened across the Vizer app and downloaded it immediately. That was six days ago and I’ve already donated seven meals. All it took to begin this giving streak was sync my fitness tracker to the app and hit either 10k steps or 30 active minutes. Easy! The app works great and I love that my activity can help someone get a nourishing meal. Give it a try!

BEST APP!. I’ve been using the app for well over a month now, and it is so motivating to workout, because I know that once I finish, I will be able to help combat hunger in America! The app is so easy to use. The only thing I wish they had on the app was a reminder to notify you when you have an available meal to donate, because sometimes I forget to go into the app after a workout. Overall, I LOVE Vizer and highly recommend downloading it!

Helps my community & holds me accountable!. Vizer is such a simple addition to an active lifestyle. Even better, it costs you no money, just sweat! I love that you now have the option to either hit 10k steps or 30 active minutes a day to donate a meal. This app definitely holds me accountable with working out knowing that my workouts help feed people in my community. I’ve never redeemed my rewards but it’s so great to see small businesses in San Diego supporting this cause! The app itself is very straightforward, user friendly and has seamless integration with Apple Watch. I just wish there was some sort of daily push notification reminding me to log.

So easy!. Using this app couldn’t be easier. You connect your smart device and you’re done! Anyone who tracks their fitness should seriously download this app. It helps keep you motivated to close your rings or meet your goals by donating a meal to people in need. It’s truly a win win. Remember to check before bed and you’ll usually have a meal ready to donate waiting for you.

“No Brainer” way to give back. I am enjoying using the Vizer App because it’s a “no brainer” way to give back. I’m already working out everyday, and tracking my progress on my Apple Watch watch. It only takes a few seconds to sync with my watch and donate a meal to someone who needs it. All by hitting 10, 000 steps or doing a 30 minute work out. The added bonus is that you feel good for working out and also giving back. You have an added incentive to hit those goals because you know someone else will benefit. It’s a win win!

Helping Others Through Vizer. The Viser app provides an easy way, at no cost to you, to help communities in need by donating a meal on a daily basis. For a long time, prior to this app, I have been reaching the daily goal of 10,000 steps or 30 minutes of activity anyway. Finding out about the community benefits of this app while expending energy to stay healthy and at the same time help an individual receive the daily nourishment a lot of us take for granted is a WIN-WIN. No better feeling at the end of the day to hit the donate button knowing someone who is hungry will receive a much needed meal.

How to help others when you exercise!. Vizer is an app that everyone should have on their device! It is simple to use and brings a lot of GOOD to people. Whenever you “exercise” for 30 minutes, the Vizer app syncs with your activity results and a meal is donated to Feed America. Win! Win! Vizer partners with socially responsible companies to assist with the meal donation. All you do is exercise and open the Vizer app. Vizer syncs your activity data and a meal is donated!

Amazing Mission. This app is amazing. For those of us who exercise regularly, it’s so easy! For people who want a little motivation to go just a bit farther, or one or two minutes more of exercise, knowing there will be a meal donated to someone in need makes all the difference. I can’t tell you how good it feels when I’m done exercising to hit that “donate a meal” button. I did something good for me, and something great for someone else!

Great Concept!. I love the app’s purpose of bringing meals to those in needs by our physical activity. It’s a great incentive to get us moving. However, I wish we were able to sync our workouts past midnight and still have it count. I forget to sync Vizer before midnight so most my workouts go uncounted :( Also, would be cool if we could share the # of meals we’ve donated overall, in a week, and/or month in stead of just the day just for more variety :)

Awesome App- Wish the Meal Donation felt more personal. I love this app and this concept. I live in TX but not being able to qualify for the local rewards stuff still isn’t a problem for me. What I wish this app had was the ability to make you feel a little more connected to the meal you “donated”? Maybe additional information of how many meals were also donated that day would help? It would be cool to know what the meal was if that makes sense? It’s hard to remember to log my workouts because I’m still struggling to make the connection that by working out I am helping donate a meal. Anything that pulls back the curtains for us a little would be so meaningful. Regardless, I believe as this app grows in popularity it will have a lot more features. I’m excited to see the growth of this app.

Great and easy way to give back!. Would recommend this to any person with an Apple Watch or fitness tracking device. I mean, I’m going to be active throughout the day anyway, so might as well turn that into something positive for the community as well. Thank you Vizer for taking the time to put together such an easy to use app and for creating something innovative that makes such a difference!

Amazing!. I’ve been very happy with this app and the cause it goes towards. I get really bummed if I miss the time window by a few minutes and miss the opportunity to give a meal. If there was a way for it to log through activity apps what meals we got but didn’t get to register yet, that would be great. So we could confirm them later if needed.

Love this app!. Ever since I started using Vizer, I’ve been so much more motivated to be more active on a daily basis! The app really helped incentivize my walking/movement, and whenever I reach the daily goal on Vizer, it’s uplifting to know that I could donate an actual meal. Truly an amazing app that I’ve shared with family and friends too!

Give Back for doing what you normally do? No brainer. Literally the best app in the game!! The fact that I’m already moving my body, this just takes it to the next level of being able to feed someone one meal with every day I move!! If you don’t have this app yet, what are you waiting for?! Absolutely download it, and be constantly motivated to move!

Love the mission. The idea is great and the only point of friction is that need to remember to sync to the app each day. Why can’t a sync be run in the background pulling data from my Fitbit? The # of times I miss being able to donate because I didn’t Sync is sad. Trying to be better at it but anything that can be done to automate sync from Fitbit would be great.

You’re already doing it, why not donate a meal too.. As soon as I found this app and what it was about from one of it’s cofounders Dylan on instagram I was all in on board. I think it’s amazing that you guys thought of this idea of promoting activity, fitness, and in general people are already doing this so why not donate a meal once a day. 5/5

Great way to give back!. I love the idea behind this app! I work in retail and it’s a great way to give back while I’m working. The only thing is the app’s UI/UX is a little off. Kinda glitchy at times, and even though I have my notifications on, I have to remind myself by the end of the day to donate my meal because the notification doesn’t come up until I open the app. Otherwise, it is amazing.

A GREAT way to make an impact!. Visor is incredible. What a brilliant idea to get people to be more active and fit while helping others in the process. I am so proud to be a part of this experience and every day I tap “donate,” I feel not only accomplished for reaching my personal goals but also like I’ve done a little bit to make an impact in the lives of others.

Vizer app. I just recently got this app because Hannah from the bachelor made a TikTok about it. I downloaded it to see what it was about and I love it. I’m still learning all the perks and such but my biggest thing is that every day that you hit a 30 min workout you are eligible to donate a meal! Helping my health and someone’s else’s belly?! Amazing!

Gives you another reason to get moving!. Love the app, very simple and easy to use. Had an issue syncing my watch to the app and the help team was fast to respond and got my problem fixed quickly. This app just gives me another good reason to get my steps and or exercise in each day!!

Great concept and easy to use. Great concept and easy to use! I workout almost everyday already so why not do something good for the community while I’m at it? It literally takes 2 seconds of my time each day and a meal gets donated - love it.

Everybody wins!. How could you not love an app that encourages you to exercise/walk, and, when you move for 30 minutes or walk 10,000 steps, it has a meal donated to someone who needs it?!? You move, you feel good because you moved and you feel even better because someone who is hungry gets a meal because you moved! Everyone needs this app!!!

Sooo easy & GREAT CAUSE!!. A friend of mine just let me in on this app: It’s called Vizer. For every 10k steps u take in a day- or 30 minute workout you do with their affiliates- you earn a free meal for a homeless person via San Diego Food Bank. I started just a couple weeks ago, and already have logged 14 free meals. And my friend said you can also earn points at Parakeet and other vendors they are associated with- e.g. a free croissant with the purchase of a coffee. Seems like a win-win since we are all outside walking these days, right? I feel great do something for me AND getting meals to those in need. :) Spread the word. 🚶‍♀️ ☀️ 😇

Broken notifications. The app won’t push through notifications/reminders to donate after your workout. Only after opening the app will the notifications pop up. I verified the same occurrence with other users too so I can confirm this isn’t isolated to my specific device. Also the articles are broken and don’t click through to anything.

Getting people moving. What a great idea to give back to the community by encouraging people to get out and walk!! I’ve been an avid walker(hiker) for the last five years. Now I just don’t feel better for my physical well being, but hitting that 10,000 step total makes someone’s life a little better!!!

Amazing App!!. Honestly, I don’t see a reason to not download this app. It easily connects to your workout device and they help promote an active lifestyle while also helping people in need. It’s so easy all you have to do is get moving and then remember at the end of the day to donate the meal! Love it! I check mine every night.

Love it❤️. I just want to let the Vizer team know that I appreciate that this app exist and that I can help families all around the world make sure they have food on the table . It feels good that I am able to help out with getting my daily exercise in knowing it’s easy and that I am helping many people that are not able to eat everyday like I am.

Wow!! Speechless. Donate a meal for doing something you probably do every day like workout or take 10,000 steps!!! I’m speechless that this company offers such an amazing thing! The app is 100% and 100% easy to use. A few click on the button and very simple information about yourself and you’re all set up!! Thank you Vizer for doing this

Great motivation to move. I found Vizer from someone’s Instagram story and have rarely been more grateful to discover something on social media. Vizer gets me moving so I can pay it forward and feel good about it. It makes my activity and steps worth more than time for myself.

Great app. This app is great. I feel like I’m making a difference for myself and helping someone in need. My one suggestion would be not having to go to the app every day to press a button to donate the meal when it’s already tracking my workouts and knows when I’ve hit the 30 minute minimum. I missed a few days worth of donating because I forgot to go into the app to hit “donate”.

Get rewarded for exercising. This easy to use app is a great way to hold yourself accountable in hitting your fitness goal each day while making a contribution to your local food bank. Easy to use and sync with your Apple Watch. I look forward to making my donation each day.

Love it, but app needs to fix a few bugs. I absolutely LOVE this app and what it stands for. I have shared it with so many people. The only problem is that sometimes it does not fully sync for my steps or activity - which has caused me to not be able to donate some meals! Also - I wish you could donate more than 1 meal/day. But other than that - it is FABULOUS!

Great app!. What a wonderful concept and so easy to do. I downloaded the free app and connected it to my Apple Watch. At the end of the day I open the app, click sync, and it reads my steps, then I click donate and it’s done. Such a minor thing to give back to others in need.

Wonderful!. I paired with this App after doing a 5k benefitting “Feeding America”. I (and you) can donate a meal for something you do just about every day without even realizing it! Simply link your fitness tracker, walk 10,000 steps, clean your room, mow the lawn, and you can help feed someone in need! This is something that the world needs!

Fantastic feel-good app!. I love knowing good is being done as I’m being good to myself! Vizer is a simple-to-use app that donates a meal to someone in need for every daily total of 30 minutes of exercise or 10,000 steps. You can also earn points for working out that add up to free stuff! It’s generous, it’s motivating... it’s awesome!

The good and the bad. While the app’s purpose contributes to a great cause, it’s frustrating that it’s able to tell you not to forget to donate but is not able to donate the meal after the 10k steps without the user having to select the donate tab. Steps do not always update in real time which may lead some users to think they’ve not yet reached their target goals.

Simple way to turn steps into donations. If you take 10k steps or are active at least 30 minutes in your day - this app is a no brainer! It’s super simple to connect your activity wearables and start donating meals…I only wish there was an auto sync/donate since you have to go in and do it manually currently.

Reminder. I really LOVE the concept and idea of this app. It makes me want to finish workouts or walk that extra mile to help a family in need. I just wish it would send my watch or phone a reminder to check in with the app. Sometimes I forget to log in my workout log so I am not able to donate that day. An extra reminder would be super helpful. But other then that love it all around.

Great cause but buggy app. The cause is spectacular! I love being able to donate meals after completing a workout. My only complaint is that the app is really buggy. Half the time I am unable to get in because the app immediately closes or freezes. I would also love to know how to setup a corporate challenge, but it’s not intuitive on how to go about doing that. Fix that and I would have zero issues.

Workout to feel good and do good!. This app is amazing and makes it so easy to turn your workout into a meal donation. Knowing that I can make a difference, vizer motivates me to get my heart rate up for 30 mins/day! It’s very easy to use: wear a fitness tracker, hit your goal, sync the tracker, open vizer, hit “donate meal” and get your reward. I encourage everyone to try it out!

Vizer review. Apparently there was a change with the Vizer app. During the transition my 233 steps were somehow erased and now I have to start all over again. I am very disappointed and frustrated to say the least. I have told many people about Vizer and donations of meals because it is a great opportunity to help people in need. However I’m disappointed that no one has tried to retrieve the steps that I have lost I have worked very hard and diligently to be sure that most days I donate a meal. Hopefully someone can reach out and remedy the situation.

Why wouldn’t you sign up?!. It was easy to sign up and it’s FREE! If you’re active for 30 minutes, you can donate a meal. If you walk 10k steps, you can donate a meal. Take a class from one of the Vizer partnered studios, you can donate a meal. That’s how easy it is, so why not help the community?!

Feed the hungry. If you have an Apple Watch please download the Vizer app. It’s free and for every 10,000 steps or 30 minutes of exercise they donate a meal. No strings attached. Hard to argue with by simply exercising you hit donate and a meal is donated. What are you waiting for. Please do it now. Takes seconds and your gain is also someone else’s.

Download it Now. This app is awesome! It’s a great way to give back while keeping yourself healthy! Everyone should download it. It doesn’t matter if you don’t hit the goals everyday because ever meal counts whether it’s a meal everyday or every other day. It’s also a great way to stay motivated to continue to work out!!

Very glitchy. I got this app after being advertised by Hannah and Dylan. They said that you rack up points and can use them for rewards, but that option is still unavailable. That’s fine though, my main issue is the GLITCHING. The app can take 5 minutes to load just to say that an “error occurred.” Or, I’ll click the donate meal button, and nothing happens. So I click it multiple times and still nothing. It’s super frustrating, really disappointed with the app.

The best app ever. Honestly, everyone should seriously download this app. It’s 100% free (like not even paid upgrades) and just when you work out, you can donate a meal. And then when you donate a meal you get a reward that benefits YOU as well. So, to summarize, you help others and help yourself from working out 30 min or walking 10,000 steps FOR FREE. So download it and make everyone’s life better!

Great motivation for a great cause!. It’s so easy — you just sign up and open the app every day and then it’ll donate a meal to someone in need if you met your fitness goal (10,000 steps or 30min activity). Walking counts as an activity too! It motivates me to workout & walk more! I love this app and have made it a goal to donate 5 meals per week!

Amazing App for the Community + Yourself!. Vizer is easy to use and motivates me everyday to get moving so that I can donate a meal to the SD food bank! In addition to that, there are great incentives after you donate your meal each day. If you haven’t downloaded this app yet, what’re you waiting for?!

Amazing. How can you not download this app? If you work out and have a Watch or something I can sync to your phone? For your work out you can feed somebody in need and you earn rewards as you do it? It’s free completely free how can you not help someone if it’s free?

Such a great concept!. Love the concept and that I can feel good about donating a meal every time I work out. Just passed 100 meals donated, it was so easy to do and I’m so happy to be a part of it! The app itself is super user friendly as well and they are adding great updates and tweaks to continue to make it better all the time.

Easy to use and helps a great cause. Heard about this through my school for a month-long competition. I couldn't be happier with it and have continued to use it past the competition because it helps such a great cause and also gives me the perfect motivation to exercise every day! Highly recommend.

Love this app!!!. I love this app, the idea behind it, the mission, the simplicity, everything. It’s such a practical way of giving back while implementing into my daily routine. It also makes my workouts feel so rewarding at the end of the day! Highly recommend!

We love exercise for a cause!. I’m always trying to get my 10,000 steps so that I can donate a meal!! This is such an awesome idea and it makes me motivated to work out! I do wish there was a way to prove that I did a “30 minute workout” without having to have a watch or go to a class because I do videos at home - but I have been donating when I get my 10,000 steps tracked on my iPhone so that works too.

Amazing app!. Vizer is incredibly user friendly and combines so many good things in one. It motivates you to complete your workouts each day, donates a meal to help your community, and give you great deals for doing so! I’ve had no issues with the app syncing to my workouts and it is an easy one-step process to donate each day!

Perfect fit for me!. I walk over 10K steps a day except due to occasional bad weather. I care about my community and do a lot of volunteer work so getting to donate a meal for something I do everyday is a great fit for me! It’s also a motivator because if I’ve only walked or hiked 9,000 steps, I always walk extra in order to donate a meal. Great app!

Easy to use if you have apple or Fitbit. I enjoy Vizer app. I have a Fitbit and it is consistent with step count. The active minutes is really variable (I.e. sometimes I will workout for 35 minutes but it will only record 27 minutes, other times it will pick up active minutes when I am walking around the grocery store). It is really difficult to sink with Garmin which is my only complaint.

An amazing app for goal setting. I always strive to reach out to people in need. It’s something I’ve really enjoyed for a while. Walking 10,000 steps a day not only is great for me, but that means one meal is donated to Feed America. This app definitely keeps me on my feet, as long help out people in need of a warm meal. I love to do my part! This app is so easy to use and is great to have. At times, I have to remember my iPhone needs to stay with me in my pocket so the counter on the Vizer app can count my footsteps. I’ve already recommended the app to friends and acquaintances. It’s a win win for me, and I love the feeling! Jason Anschutz Door County WI

Amazing app. I joined a virtual 5k race during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the registration email was information about Vizer! Not knowing anything about it, I reviewed it and found that it links to my Fitbit (or other device) and monitors your movement. For a 10,000 step day goal and/or 30 minutes of activity, a meal is donated to help feed America! What an awesome motivation to get moving all while helping get fit, but helping feed others!!

Need to Feed. Wow! I can’t believe how amazing this app is! And so simple to sign up! I’m on my feet all day, and able to use my steps to feed those in need! I wish more people knew about this :) Walking 10k steps or working out 30 minutes not only helps me stay healthy, but also helps others.

Exercise for not just yourself. I love VIZER! It is so easy to set up to pair with iPhone and Apple Watch. Now I have 2 reasons to exercise- my health and helping others! Also I love that it can be one or the other steps/heart rate so if I don’t get around to a heavy workout but I walked my 10,000 steps at work I still donate a meal! I try to share on my social media as much as possible because I want EVERYONE to use VIZER.

Tap with Purpose. I recently heard about Viser from a peer. I work out 5 days a week. Idk how many times I click/tap apps all day.. this one is with purpose and intent! I hope in the future more devices will be able to syn, such as health data from a heart rate monitor or whoop strap. It is so easy to tap open my app to donate a meal. Highly recommend!!
