Pricey Learning. I love this app so much and it really does have a clean finish and so many helpful features that ensure that you not only know what the words look like and what they mean, but also how to say them and speak them. It really is a helpful tool but I wish to learn at a faster pace and can’t do to being limited by the non premium features. I wish learning could be free because even at such a low price I can’t afford it. That makes me sad, I really do wish to advance but can’t. :(

Fantastic for helping with memorizing vocabulary. This app has helped me a lot when it comes to Korean vocabulary! It makes it really fun and enjoyable! The only thing I would recommend is that they add a portion to the app where you can review words you’ve learned through the app. Other than that, this app is so good!

Speaking. Im learning german and everytime i start to speak it says i am wrong But otherwise it’s an amazing app and I learn a lot of new words that I wouldn’t have thought to learn and they are exactly at my level I would give this app a five star review except for the speaking

😭😭😭. I wanted to learn Arabic but they didn’t have it so I chose Spanish. The lessons were unclear on directions, and the microphone kept thinking I said man man when I said cansado. I also don’t like how you need to pay to get your SECOND LESSON. I barely learned anything from the first lesson. If you could fix these issues, I would definitely give this a higher rating. I would appreciate if you tweaked this. Thank you for reading this.

Has potential. This could, in theory, be a great way to learn a language. Like I have seen in other reviews and from personal experience, gendered nouns are crucial to fluency. Could this be done with a similar thing to the romanized version of, say, Russian? There's also the one lesson free, the rest are paid. With the "unlimited lessons" on the pop-up, I felt like I might just get one lesson per day, but I only get one. Ever.

App’s fine, but the speaking part isn’t.. The app is fine and is pretty similar to other language learning apps. It helps you learn vocabulary and that’s about it. The biggest flaw it has is the speaking portion. The last section of each lesson has you speak, but it will almost always detect the wrong thing for at least one out of the four words. Personally, I know I’m saying the words correctly. I have a native Korean friend who has confirmed I’ve said the words correctly but the app detects something different. This seems to be a common issue among other users as well.

Simply the Best. This is simply the best language learning app. I’m a guy who appreciates a nice and clean aesthetic, and this app seems like it came from my wildest imaginations. Every time I open the app, I become excited to learn and feel fresh, not bogged down by unprofessional and “dirty” app interfaces. This app is truly amazing, and I’m so happy that I came across it. It also runs absolutely perfectly and stunningly smooth on my iPhone XS Max. Thank you, iTranslate team, for making language learning fun, easy, and timeless. Sincerely, Matthew.

Good But Not Perfect. I like the way the lessons are organized, but some of the transactions are not exactly accurate. For example, справедливый does not mean “right” but just, and it would be better to say that оставленный means “left behind” rather than left - which is ambiguous and could be understood as левый.

Good, but.... I’m only giving this app a 3 star because of these reasons: 1) On the good side, this app is great for quick and easy lessons to expand your vocabulary. It has a good concept. 2) It is extremely limited for a language-learning app. If you are thinking about using this as a vocab refresher, then that’s fine. However, this app can’t stand alone in teaching you any deeper than that. 3) It’s not free? At least, I thought it was! I can’t access anymore lessons! Not even one. After a time of using the app, they softlock you into buying their PRO upgrade, which in my opinion, may not be worth it compared to the competitors.

It is the best. This game is very good for beginners and someone like me trying to learn Spanish I have been wanting to learn Spanish and thank god I found this game to read Spanish and learn it it made my life better for me know a little by little Spanish I wish you guys try this game you may love it but it is up to you ✨🌸❤️

Too many loan words. (Japanese). It’s a decent app but there’s little room to customize the experience. I don’t like how 3/4 of the words are basically English words. Give me something that’s foreign to my mind, I can figure out loan words by hearing them. This is mostly a problem at the beginner level. If I go for intermediate, it’s too hard because it is so kanji-reliant. I’d like if there was something between intermediate and beginner, or if you could view kanji and hiragana simultaneously so that I actually remember the kanji.

Subscription. I think that the subscription part of this app is not needed. Some people do not have 45 dollars to send on an app that you will use for a few days. There is also a button that says to it for free, however it’s not free it makes you pay weekly. That would be considered false advertisement. I really think you should change that and only 4 free languages and other languages would be needed to pay for.

Uhmmm... You can barely understand anything since it’s voiced by a robot and not a human-being. It teaches you at a very slow pace because you only learn 4 words per lesson. Over all it’s not the best way of learning a language but it’s not the worst mostly because it’s very hard learning a language through a book. I would not recommend this to anyone trying to learn a language.

3 Areas Need Tweaking. 1-As many others have stated no matter how perfectly you say the words, it says you miss pronounce one and four with a totally different word! That’s frustrating AND THEN .... 2- though it turns red & counts it as incorrect, at the end of the lesson when you click “my mistakes“ it says I have zero mistakes & perfect completion. So Either allow me to correct the mistakes that you say are wrong… Or stop counting my pronunciation as incorrect! You can’t have it both ways. 3- What’s most needed in this app is a “previous review” option or at least quiz me on random words I’ve had previously in my future lessons for RETENTION As you were unable to go back to review any previous lessons or even individual words. Those slight tweaks, which require minimal work from developers, in an update, would make this a PERFECT & well thought-out app.

Good but hard to learn. It's really fun well kind of fun but it's really hard to learn here is what I tried I tried Spanish and that's it I'm really bad at it I have to write it down on a piece of paper in the voice thingy is very hard to use because it because it it gets it wrong but it gets the sorry guys I'm not editing this so there might be like playing wrong words wrong words

Meh.... Why i gave you 1 star, is not because of other flaws that people may have complained about but because of the fact that you can only take 1 lesson, and then nothing more. Otherwise, the app would honestly be great for learning a new language. I hope that you change this into something better, and listen to our complaints. Also, there is a 7 day trial, but then you have to pay, and my phone doesn’t let me pay for anything so i’m forced to accept the fact that i can only take 1 lesson and can’t even get that free trial. Please change this soon, please.

All right. It is ok but like I’m sure many others said, the part where you have to say the word in your language always messes you up even when you know you saying it right, and even if your not saying it correctly it comes up with things that sound nothing like what you said. But I stand by my point the app is “All right”, all the other sections are fine they really do help you learn.

It is easy to navigate throughout, clear with precise instructions! I like it a lot.. User friendly, concise, easy to use, allows the user to learn the It is very easy itspelling and pronunciation of the words!

Lingo is a great learner program. Lingo’s easy goals and reminders keep a student on task, and its organization of key words and phrases is enjoyably diverse. However, the programmers would be wise to include an overall quiz assessment after every five or ten lessons, to maintain retention for the student.

I wish I could change languages. It said I had to PAY! To switch and not even 10 seconds in and I already have an add. I wish I could rate this 0 stars but I can’t. So what happened was I already learned all the Chinese words in school do I thought I could switch after no even one full lesson but I can’t. I wanted to take German or something else but I can’t. Will not be recommending this up to anyone.

Lingo. This program makes you listen to the word, speak it and spell it. A great way to increase vocabulary!

Cool concept, grossly overpriced.. Cool idea, was actually looking forward to switching up my learning apps and use this to learn something new and unpredictable everyday... except you get one day trial + 7 free day trial with an automatic subscription of $6.99 a month. Yeah no thanks. I rather just open up a dictionary and chose 4 random words. I’d pay one time fee or something similar, but to charge me that much every month? Crazy.

Love it 😊. Very good app. They made the accuracy better in Korean (which I am trying to learn) so that was good too. Really the only bad thing is that the voice recognition isn’t that great. But would definitely recommend to anyone trying to learn a language👍🏽

Too expensive. The app translates accurately 75% of the time. It needs a dialect/region option. I check translations by switching the to Spanish from English, to English from Spanish and the phrase typed is not the same when translated in reverse. It’s great if you need a quick look for a word in Spanish when working with someone who speaks no English but as a supervisor and with how expensive the app is, it should be 100% accurate all the time.

🤦🏼‍♂️Great idea but needs a lot of updates. Needs to speak the word every time you select or spell a word. Let you look at what you just answered and see the correct spelling. Have a button to go to the next page, not auto change. Liked the idea that you can go into this with just a few words and progress steadily. But I really dislike the way it doesn’t let you ponder what just happened. The speech recognition is terrible! Wether you use AirPods or just the phone. On simple words it picks up completely different than what was said.

It’s fine. I been waiting to learn Japanese but sadly I only get 1 lesson, this is my first day trying it and if I get one lesson each day I guess I’ll put the stars at 4 it’s good for you can know different languages to be honest, this is kinda better than that green bird lol I hope y’all read this, it’s a good app but I want suggestion •Maybe make two lesson each day one in the morning and another in the afternoon •Bug fixing •More than one lesson •custom noise (Like if you get it wrong, you can change the noise in setting) •A section bar that you can review your words more than once This is just a suggestion and yeah, please don’t hate me lol

Not many languages. I wish there was arabic.. It’s a popular language, more so than quite a few on here already. I would be more than willing to pay for the pro version for arabic. Tried it with spanish and it’s pretty good.

Not good for free read please. Okay listen. I am wanting to learn Italian so I thought this app was good for it. You have to pay five dollars per month for it though. If you go for free you get only one lesson. I was really bummed out. I know the people need to make their money and that is ok with me. But I was hoping for more. The first and only lesson was amazing I loved it. I love this app I just wish it gave me more lessons to learn Italian. I love this app and totally recommend it but you have to pay to get more lessons other than that this app was great. Thank you for your time And thank you for making this app.

Lingo. The reason why I love lingo is because it’s teaching me a lot of new Russian words that I am liking and it has selections for animated in Russian easy Russian or advanced Russian and I am in intermediate Russian because I speak a little bit of German and German and Russian are kind a like so that is why I love lingo and it is just a really good app to like learn new languages if you don’t want to go to school or do you like sick or something so yeah bye-bye

A nice learning program.. Lingo Is A really wonderful program for learning for learning to speak A language. The only problem is that when they test you. If you don’t speak the word exactly the same as the computer it is marked wrong. Sometimes I can’t even understand the English words. For me it is like learning from a French Siri.

Umm... why not.... Welp I have to say this app is very helpful and good as well as the progress and how it keeps track but what kind of notification is this it goes something like “complete me or at lest you should Since it’s #lingotime😏” Oh and I know I could turn off my notifications but it notifies me almost every hour it soooooooooo annoying other than that the app is good it’s OK why not download it for a shot but JEEZ!

Slow and steady wins the race. So I just upgraded to the pro version of this app. I like that it teaches me four new words daily with the option of moving ahead, but I hope that as time progresses, the app will teach me sentences, and not just single words.

Lingo Needs Gender for Gemma!. Lingo provides a fun and thorough way to learn new vocabulary. But it does not included gender information! In German, this means you don’t know if the word must be preceded by der, das, die, den, dem, einen, einem, etc. German relies on gender articles to signify direct or indirect objects. If you leave them out you are just mumbling incoherently. My German teachers and German books stress the importance of leaning new vocab words AND their gender in order to be able to actually communicate in German! The iTranslate team has not committed to add gender to the Vocab list. I am wondering if they are leveraging a free Open Source vocab list and so don’t want to spend the time or effort to improve their software? :-( This is a serious oversight for a paid subscription tool. Please join me and tell the iTranslate team to get off their butts and add an essential feature that their users must have to be able to learn a new language!

Languages. Sensible, easy and practical way to learn or improve the way to to speak, spell and read in any language. Excellent easy to use format as well, to accomplish this task.

Word Review is lacking.. I want to love this app. It’s one of the only apps I have found that feature Taiwanese Mandarin. The main issue I have is that the review only has you match Chinese hanzi to English definitions and most frustrating is the fact that there is no pronunciation reminder in the review at all. Thanks for adding the Taiwanese Mandarin option. 👍

:)/;(. i only get so many lessons, ,, this really wasn’t worth itmuch words down my neck this way, and it makes it way easier to look back on previous words mentally. The only problem is the speaking portion, it doesn’t register what i say, and when i say it a second time it doubles the word and marks it wrong. Korean is a second language for me, and i want to advance my knowledge, and so far... this app has been very helpful!

Great, with one problem. The app is great, but there needs to be a way to review past words with their pronunciations. The current review section is extremely lacking; there should be a better way to quiz the past words, and also include another section where you can solely just look at the words (with their pronunciations). Also, for Korean, there should be an option to toggle the romanization for Hangul off. Otherwise, I have no complaints (:

Grat app to start learning. I’ve been a language learning lover for whole my life and this app has been great so far. I highly recommend it to you, especially if you are a beginner; it can start your engine and drive you through the way quick and safe😉😉! And by the way, you may think learning 4 words a day won’t have much effect on your language learning process, but remember: oceans 🌊 are created by small droplets 💧.

Flawed: Fails to get the easiest words correct. Unfortunately, in previewing the first lesson for intermediate and basic Chinese (Mandarin), I was confronted with several errors, most notably 曷 for “where” (completely wrong), 过分地 for “sky” (completely wrong) 履 for “shoe” (incredibly bookish and old) I can go on and on. I cannot in good conscious give this app more than one star because it fails on the most basic level of “teaching” “Chinese.” Disappointing.

Progress. After the first two lessons I was able to identify the words quickly and with ease. I surprised myself. Can’t wait to learn more.

Good idea, works so so. Generally I like this app. I like how it functions, and I like that it only focuses on 4 words at a time. The problem is that the speech recognition is broken. It only works about 25% of the time. It almost always makes you repeat what you've said, I'm not sure why.

BEST APP EVER. This is the BEST LEARNING-A-SECOND-LANGUAGE-APP EVERRRRRR!!!!!! Now I get A+’s on my quizzes instead of C-‘s:). And it’s easy and you get to correct your mistakes if you got a word very wrong, this really helped me in my Germany class! But the fact that there is a premium gets me sad even though you don’t need it! Just click the X on the top left of the screen (maybe right I don’t remember sorry). YOU WILL NOT REGRET DOWNLOADING THIS!!!

Simply Amazing. The “title” says it all!😄 I have been wanting to brush my French back up to par, where it used to be 33yrs ago, which was the last time that I had uttered a single word in that beautiful language! With this AMAZING little APP I have been consistently and steadily improving....oh, and the SPEECH RECOG feature is THE BEST: it’s like having one’s own private tutor sitting across the table and even helping with the pronunciations etc. Kid you not, at this rate I’ll clean up my Spanish too....and who knows, maybe I actually will start learning German, which I have wanted to do for a long time!🙃 I am a professional conference level simultaneous Interpreter, and the “translator” extension (or setting) that’s in this amazing little app has just been perfect in getting me out of some almost-embarrassing spots too! Lol 😆 So all & all this baby’s getting 2👍🏼s🆙 & a definite 5⭐️ rating from yours truly 🙏🏼🙇🏻‍♂️😎

Tweaks needed. Good app, in that it can be done in small bits of time, like waiting in a doctors office. PLEASE make a Landscape adjustment for the iPad and iPhone! This is one of very very few programs that doesn’t auto-rotate from portait to Landscape. Also, the speaker needs to more clearly enunciate when giving word translation responses. I listened 5 times, and vrucht was never audible. Finally, as others note, please make a viewable wordlist for prior lessons, and Please some appendix learning of usage, like we did in school with vocabulary words in a sentence, or phrase. In Dutch, PLEASE include part of speech, and article of De v. Het; knowledge of those go together with each noun and must be memorized!

Voice quality & voice recognition need work. It’s quite hard to understand some of the words that are being spoken to you, both in English and French. The voice recognition is off too. The words I pronounced were extremely close and it should’ve detected what I was saying, it wasn’t even close.

Lesson history needs pronunciation. I don't know how to pronounce the words in my lesson history. Use English letters for Chinese pronounciation in lesson history please. The list of words in my lesson history should have English letters pronounciation next to Chinese characters and English word.

Not worth a subscription. I enjoyed the app for a few days until it asked for me to pay for the monthly subscription. I exited and now I can’t start with out it popping up to pay. I don’t mind paying a one time price for a little app to help learn Spanish, if it could understand me. I never got one day were it recognized all four spoken words. I know how to say queso! I had better luck with duolingo.

Awesome. I have been learning French on this wonderful app and soon I will be able to speak full French!! I totally recommend this app for kids And adults. It teaches you 4 words at a time so you can remember them easily and it has great goals for you to set so get lingo and try it out!!!!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂

You WILL learn!. This app is really amazing! It helps you learn even more about the word pronunciation, writing, and what it means. You can even correct your mistakes and see your progress! I DEFINITELY recommend this app.

Perfect. I am loving this app. In the up coming fall break. My mom and I will be going to Italy. This app is helping me learn the basics of what to know before traveling. I would like it better if I could learn more classroom style with tests. To test my knowlage. Also to learn about food for a unit and the other important things to know

Disappointed. I think that this app is very disappointing. I mean I wouldn’t spend 7 dollars monthly to learn a language, would you? This app should be free so we can learn languages easily. It’s not fair to be spending seven dollars monthly a mont is only four weeks and there are twelve months in a year so if you use this for only one year it will accumulate to a big price of eighty four dollars. And what, just for 1 small app? You’ve got to be kidding me! This app is a bad “educational” app.

Horrible learning app. I recommend Duolingo for a langue app. It’s free and simple this is stupid even for intermediate

Add more languages. It’s a great app but can you please add Indonesia thanks

App Store description is misleading. The App Store description mentions 23 languages, including Arabic, but Arabic is not in the list of languages available to choose once the app is installed?!?

Please add memory recall option. Very good app! Excellent, clear design layout.. Must add memory recall option for words learned, every 3 or so days [user choose this frequency]. Very good app for beginners, in addition to other materials. English speech needs updating. Learning languages speech are fine.

First Impressions. This looks like a really intuitive approach on language learning - first impressions are good, very engaging ... it’s funny how drab computerised English sounds. Only notable flaw is the speech recognition; not very forgiving. Keen to see where this goes. Reasonably priced compared to competitors.

NOT FREE. This app is not free. It won’t even let you have the free 7 day trial unless you put in the payment info for automatic subscription renewal. A pity no evaluation will happen. APP DELETED.

Not a good app. This maybe free but it’s actually $7 a month . Bad advertisement for this app they should’ve said that you only learn four words in one lesson is free. The rest you have to pay for.

Whoa. That’s effective language learning.. Unbelievably good simple but not easy. As in Mandarin is a complex language that requires effort. Brilliant app.

Poorly checked app.. This app is a poor cousin to other good Language learning Apps like Duolingo. ITranslate seem to have just patched together a matching interface to suck some cash out of unsuspecting customers rather than design a Language App from ground up. For example, learning Japanese from English has multiple errors in the oversimplified “word learning” interface for beginners. The App didn’t even say one of the only four beginner words, Konnichi, correctly. Only pronouncing the first Japanese character in the Apps voiced output of the word. And for beginners, the App seems to expect a starter to know how to type Hiragana text to come up with a Kanji. Think it all through again, people. Needs a stack of work to bring it even close to other great learning Apps out there in the market.

Language options. Hi, are you likely to add further languages soon? I am interested in learning Greek

Is that all?. Only gives you four different words to memorise and expects you to pay $7 a month?

Review of earlier lessons should be available. The choice of words, exercises and clarity of diction is good. Four new words is an appropriate number. An inability to review words learned previously is, however, a major weakness.

提些意见. 1、我练习英文单词发音错误后,该单词并没有列入纠错单词中?2、英文对应的中文翻译很奇怪,比如dark翻译成:暧?是什么意思?red翻译成红色是不是更好?table应该是桌子,案的翻译很奇怪!

Strange. Why can’t I do about her lesson? This app is Rude to me because doesn’t let do another lesson. Strange👎🏻😠 Change it now or I will taser you!

I like if so far. Tiny bit is hard to some words

Warning. They will charge you $49.99. I some how unknowingly got a pro subscription. Be careful!

Don’t like it!😡. I was learning sewdwish.I only got to learn 4 words! The thing I don’t like here is that I don’t get to do another lesson! I hate it!👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

great but need improvements. i really like the simplicity of the learning process, but i think a "review" function would be so great because i bearly remember the word i learned a week ago and there's no way i can review them.

Working hard.. At 67 learning a new language is difficult but I keep plugging away. Often the person speaking throws me off but again there will be other people I will encounter with dialects, so my ear needs to pick the sounds.

😤. You only get one lesson until it tells you to get pro, I waited a day and it still says to go pro, even if you tap the x and try to tap lesson again it’ll just say pro again

Still needs fixing. It would be nice if I can refer to the old words I learned because I hadn’t got a chance to fully learn them. Quizlet is better for memorizing and I also wish there was more to it. Moreover, the app expects people to learn the 4 words instantly after 30 seconds.

😡😡😡. I was trying to learn Japanese and saw a ad for this on YouTube and decided to give it a shot. BIG MISTAKE. I only got to use the app ONCE! I did my 4 words the fist day and set the reminder thinking that tomorrow I could learn some more☺️ the next day I came back to the app and it said I needed PRO! If your going to make something free make it so you can use it more than once For people who want to learn a new language for free, this app isn’t for you, you should get Busuu instead, thank you for reading, don’t download this app😡

Not free. Since the last update, I can’t do anything without registering for the pro free week... Update: whenever I try to do anything, the pro window pops-up, I close it, and it pops up again without hallowing me to do anything. This is only since the last update so I’m hoping it’s just a bug...

when learn english by chinese language. a lot of chinese translations are not precise, and if you can add example sentences and part of speech to each words will be much better

Word recognition. Pretty good app but when you try to speak the words it doesn’t recognize it and says it’s wrong. Like when I first started the app beginners level

Problème. J’aime bien mais j’aurai aimé que l’app soit plus travailler genre qu’elle nous disent c’est quoi les erreurs qu’on a fait etc

Go back. You need to be able to go back when you’ve made an error to retry the words til You get it 100%

Having problems. It was perfect but lately, for some reason I can’t hear the pronunciation parts. But its in Korean, Japanese, mandarin and Taiwan... please help meee

Lingo is great!. The lingo program for learning languages is easy and fun. I recommend it for everyone.

Keep track of past session. It sure would be nice if it kept better track of vocabulary learned in past days better than it does at present

Second Spanish lesson. I’m just getting started this is my second lesson but, it would be nice if they would repeat the words back to you once you selected them so that you can hear how they sound in Spanish.

Speaking. When I was doing the speaking part, I said it right but it showed a wrong word. It happened many times.

Make it better!. It’s good for expanding vocabulary, but the spelling section needs an edit option.

No free option. I think that you would do better in comparison to your competitors like duolingo if you offered a free version of this app. I am personally still in school and was looking for outside help with my Spanish course and was disappointed that I was only able to access four words on your app.

Review. Need more than just vocabulary like using them in sentences as they would most likely be used in daily usage. Porto Cima

Vocabulary expander. This is a fun and quick way to improve my Spanish vocabulary. A little each day.

FIVE STARS!!!!!. This is literally the best!!! I have been wanting to learn Korean for a while and this app has EVERYTHING! I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Korean or (any language of your choice of course) I really love this app and I recommend it to anyone!!! This review WILL stay💜💜💜

Please!!. This app is good. One thing that frustrated me is we cant re-revise the words we already learned or get tested on them. Please consider this feature.

Good practice app. Between this app and the Duolingo app I have found the combination of the two apps have made my skills and learning better and faster.

Learn and have fun. Fun when nothing going on. Easy and well organized

Good But needs a few changes. I think the the app is good but it annoys me that I can’t check my already used words without a subscription I feel like that would cause a lot of people to delete the app

Voice recognition. The voice does not seem to decipher my voice correctly, even when I pronounce it loudly and distinctly

Not Utilizing Its Potential. Unless you answer incorrectly during a lesson or go to the ever-growing list of words "learned," there's currently no way to review past words. $40/year? Hard pass.

The App Won’t Talk To Me. I’m trying to learn Korean but I can’t learn anything because every time I try to learn a new word it doesn’t say the word for me and if the app doesn’t say the word for me I won’t know how to say it so can this feature in the app be fixed please

I hate this app. I hate this app. It’s a terrible app and a waste of time. There are 2 things I hate about this app. When you have to talk and say the English translation, I am learning Korean. I had to say “table” in ENGLISH. I said Table and it said I was wrong. 2nd thing is the pay. I have to pay to get lessons. That’s just stupid. I hate this app. And I am deleting it.

No option foe English speakers. The app is in English, but there is no English speaker option to learn another langugae. Users can learn English, but no option to be an English speaker learning the available languages. Why?

Great way to learn.. Very natural way to learn. The review feature helped as well

Caution read terms of service carefully. This app has a 24 hour cancellation clause. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George couldn’t cancel his Dentist appointment because he didn’t have 24 hours in advance. Funny for a sitcom but definitely not funny if you have to pay for an unwanted month! Beware!

Random words. The app name is confusing, I thought I would be learning everyday/common lingo for a new language. You’re taught four new words a day that are completely random. It would be more interesting and informative to learn common phrases or words.

I like this app and is really good for people who are serious about learning.. I love this

Best Around. This is so far the best I’ve seen for learning a new language...

Speed. Sometimes the feedback moves too fast, but otherwise it’s a great learning tool including learning each word by how it sounds, reads, is spelled, and one’s own pronunciation.

1 LESSON!. I was expecting to be able to have more than just one lesson. The app is advertised as free but as soon as you open the app it asks for money and if you don’t pay you are aloud only ONE free lesson.

Thanks for taking all my money!!!! >:(. I was thinking let’s learn some new language so I downloaded this until today i was checking my money. Well guess what? I have no money left. I rate this zero stars. But I can’t put zero so I’m gonna have to put one. Thanks a lot Lingo...

Too easy or too irrelevant. I chose intermediate and found the words to be irrelevant to what I want to learn- unfaithful, corrupt, hitch. Or maybe they’re on a negative theme. I switched to beginner and it was too easy- black, foot, lunch. Good idea but not real relevant and I wanted to know more about the variations of the words and examples of usage.

Good Worth it to get the free trial. This app is Excellent if you get the free trial you can learn so many languages at once.

I don’t like French. In the app I chose French but later on I figured out I don’t want to do French. I want to lean about Spanish, but no I can’t because, it doesn’t let you change the language that you want to learn.

Do *not* upgrade beyond 1.0.16 — bait and switch alert! 🤯. You will *lose* the ability to access free lessons that you now have! 🤯 Also, the developer was not forthcoming that the “Review My Words” feature in 1.10 would require a subscription, otherwise I would have *never* upgraded! 🤯

Better for learning. It’s perfect

Easy and fun. Really enjoying this app

Decent. Really nice display with lots of options but everything is locked behind a paywall.

Don’t waste your time if you don’t want to pay for this. This app gives you one lesson and then you have to pay for the pro app so don’t waste your time if you don’t want to pay for this go to duolingo or one of the other places that has more languages.

Love it. This helps me so much with my Spanish classes and it actually helpful. It also is super additive! 10/10 recommend

Regards. I am very happy to learn English, is easy for me to learn like that I do not have enough time to go go the school to learn because have to work. Thanks you

Language. It would be better if you could change the language from the one you are learning right now .

This is all wrong. You’re not even teaching me the lesson that well and you just start it you shouldn’t do like the end of the week test or something I hated it I listen to the words and you are pretty random stuff that I didn’t even hear you are bad app my daughter can you even say wrong in Spanish thank you for your time

So-so. It’s good, but I still dont feel like I can use these words in regular communication with other people, which is what learning a language is all about. This app really just makes you memorize words.

Fantastic!. I love this app, helps a lot with learning the true root meanings. ♾

Voice. Voice recognition is marginal when practicing words. No trouble with other apps.

Excellent vocabulary review. Excellent vocabulary review! I am learning new words as well as reviewing words that I had already learned.

Lingo App. This app is learning friendly. It’s not overly complicated

😞. So I just got the app. And you may think wow! It’s so good and this person is wrong but I have only one problem. I want more languages! I want to learn Swahili! I am going to Tanzania, Africa and I want to be able to speak to them. Thank you

New to Lingo. I love this!! I would like to go back and practice the words I have learned. Is there a way to do this?

Microphone access. When I use the microphone & follow the instructions and press the button again it doesn’t show up but if I do it again it shows up twice, other than that it’s the best language app EVER💜

The voice recognition. The app is alright, I’m learning Korean but the voice recognition needs to be worked on because I’m saying the right thing.

Great. I have been wanting to learn different languages for so long and this is the app

Is there a button for free education?. Ok, so first why isn’t education free in this app? It’s like duolingo but u have to pay to use it! You should be able to learn for free. Otherwise it just gives a bad example. Sorry that I’m being a bit rude but you have to fix that!!!
