Simple, educational and successful. I thought I had followed a Keto program previously but couldn’t get results...this app completely changed my approach and understanding of Keto and I have had excellent results. The app is simple and easy to follow. It has created a level of awareness about food that I never actually had before. It’s been eye opening to learn that although there is good fat in many foods, there are also carbs in those foods that need to be accounted for and managed. The graphs and education available keep me informed at all times and I have finally learned the keys to achieving my personal weight loss and food lifestyle goals. This app was recommended to me by a friend who had great results and I have passed this app along to everyone who asks me what I have done to achieve success. I was finally ready to tackle Keto properly and this app makes it possible to do so.

Love the ease of using this app to record macros. It has been very helpful to me. I’m still not too comfortable with the 70% fat intake recommended to keep one in Ketosis. But the helpful and informative articles and ease of viewing meals, recipes, has given me great ideas. I have always believed their are no bad natural foods, (Potato’s, rice, beans, breads) But the way they are processed and prepared is a recipe for weight gain. I still try to incorporate the 5 food groups, without those 4 mentioned, but just drastically cut my carb intake. I am only 27 days into this keto journey, and without the sugar I am amazed with how much better I’ve been feeling. I will continue to read these articles from the keto app get the necessary sleep, water intake and I am sure I will shed the extra weight I’m hoping for. But I like this app!

Game Changer. This app is a game changer for me on Keto. I’ve been using another app that allows me to log my food and gives me my macro percentages after I log but this app allows me to plan ahead and see what my carbs will be before I eat whatever I’m planning on. I’ve been using it a week now and have already lost 3 Lbs. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t even in ketosis using the other app. The numbers aren’t even the same. So glad I gave this app a try. Totally worth it so far! Update- I’ve lost six pounds now since I started using this app. I had started gaining-hadn’t changed anything except my stress level increased. I asked to cancel the app but did a chat with support and was told cortisol actually blocks ketones. Make sure you’re getting the sleep your body needs. I wasn’t. When my stress level decreased I lost what I had gained and I feel so much better! I love that we have an awesome support team at our finger tips!

Review. I love the keto diet it’s just a little difficult for me to be disciplined when I go out or when I go to visit someone there are things that I can say no to without hurting anyone’s feelings and then there are things that I can’t say no to because I will hurt the person making the offer and I don’t want to do that otherwise this diet is the best thing that ever happened for me I’ve cut out sugar I’ve cut out bread tortillas rice pasta I’m 74 years old so sometimes instead of losing weight I gain weight but it’s OK I know why I this happens because I’m not disciplined. I’m losing weight maybe a pound a day of course something this good cannot be rushed and I understand I sleep much better I’m able to fall asleep early I’m exercising and I love it keto I want to make you my best friend so I don’t keep falling off the horse. This keto diet takes dedication and I plan to dedicate my eating to my health to live a long healthy life without any diseases thank you keto for reminding me what I need to do next.

Helpful. I have been contemplating joining the Keto craze for a couple of years now but could not get myself motivated enough to give up sugar ( Serious addiction). COVID 15 LBS hit me really fast and furious! When searching for a plan to take off weight and get healthy this app popped up and reviews were good so I gave it a whirl. Can’t say I lost weight quickly but tracking macros, reading insights and adding a coach have all helped with weight loss stall and I am down six pounds another six or seven to go. Aside from a couple of minor nuances the app has performed well. One note for app developers: scanning labels to calculate macros function is not working properly and can derail ketosis if unnoticed by user. Otherwise great app for my Keto journey!!! Adding a Keto coach has significantly shifted my experience with app and Keto diet as well, would highly recommended.

Leaves A lot to be desired. First of all, there is no using any part of this app for free for any length of time. You will be prompted to answer a bunch of questions to create your “master plan” and then just when you think you can see the layout and see how it works you can go no further unless you buy a subscription. I’m pretty fed up with these new buy before you can try applications because invariably the app does not do what it says it will do. I allowed the permissions for it to track my activity from my health app and nothing was ever pulled into the app (except for my weight). I have had to manually enter my activity. It will not link with Fitbit at all, one of the most popular activity trackers on the market. Once you add a food and choose the type of measurement you are stuck with that measurement type the next time you add it from the recent menu, meaning if I weigh my food the first time and enter it in ounces or grams then I’m stuck with ounces or grams and cannot change it to….say slices (lunch meat) the next time I use it from the recent menu. I have to completely add the food again and use slices. This is basic programming, the drop down menu options should still be available the next time you enter that food. It’s little things like this that make the app NOT a joy to use. It just feels thrown together and incomplete. Unfortunately I’m stuck with it for a year.

Absolutely Love!. I’m a first time Keto dieter, although a long time dieter. This app is amazing and more than I hoped for. I hate keeping a food log and counting calories, but being new to Keto, I knew I had to. The voice recognition actually makes it fun. It not only gives you specific daily goals, but also lets you toggle to see what your percentages are. I like that it also now lets you log in your weight, although I would like to be able to hide that from the screen. A trick I use to find the nutritional information of my own recipes is to add it to an unused day- then transfer it to my own food list. Maybe that is something the developer can add in the next update. I also found the recipes and insights very helpful to help me navigate my way around getting into and staying in ketosis. I’ve never used that chat, but I’m happy it is offered. It would be 5 stars without those feature, so huge bonus. I downloaded a few Keto apps before paying....this seemed like the best and well with the investment!

Awesome App for Keto. I started my keto journey about 50 days ago. About a week after I started, I noticed I was having problems keeping track of my carbs and understanding more about what I could and could not eat. So, I looked around for an app I could use. Luckily I found Keto Diet App. This app has been a lifesaver for my new eating lifestyle. It helps me keep track of what I eat and drink each and every day so that I can count my carbs and other things like calories. But what I also like about it is that it has lots of helpful tips every single day and a bunch of recipes. So, if you’re new to Keto or just need an app that will help you keep track of your carbs and even your weight loss progress, look no further you have found every tool you will need within this app.

Keto App. I love this app!! I’ve always needed some way to help keep me honest. Recording my daily meals and snack keeps my mind focused on the right track. I also love the informational articles and tips. You can even get new recipes! The almond flour pizza called “Fathead” was awesome to make. Pizza is a nice meal to be able to eat every now and then. Being new to the Keto diet, I needed special help and fortunately this wonderful app has helped me so much. I am losing weight slowly which is what is needed for me to keep it off. I hope to make Keto my lifetime way to eat. I want to be a healthy 60 year old woman. I have a family history of diabetes. I am on the borderline of getting this unfortunate illness that so many people have these days. I believe the food pyramid I’ve had drilled in my head since I was a young girl is wrong. Thank you, Keto app!!

Carb Manager is free and offers more. I find it frustrating to add meals/food ahead of time. For me, it helps plan the meals for the future. That way, I already know what food to prepare/ defrost. I can see if I need to add more fats or if I can afford a salad with dressing. This app, though I am paying for it, doesn’t let me add my exercise or my keto reading. No section for notes. Have to admit, I love Carb Managers confetti when my husband stays within his macros. Im paying... I want confetti!! Carb Manager also has quick entry if I don’t want to add an entire recipe... just the macros. I use Keto Diet App bc I already paid for my subscription. I honestly like Carb Manager better but seeing as NEITHER apps lets you add a second person (cuz duh... we are eating the SAME food, why not let me track both of our macros bc lets face it, often times one person does most of that work. I hope to see some improvements coming up or I’m going to have to cancel. Seriously, I expect more for having to pay.

My keto app & keto eating plan. Keto App The app is easy to use; has option to make your own meals or the meal plan for each day; computes your macros, calories, and needed amounts for each day & warns you if your have exceeded any category. The support staff is unbelievable. They respond to questions almost immediately with detailed, informative suggestions/answers. 5 stars for app. Keto Eating Plan I am not a patient person. I was impressed with losing four pounds the first week. Unfortunately I lost only two more pounds the next week. Then my weight has not changed more than 0.1 pound since then. I have been doing keto for 24 . It can be confusing in determining the priorities. Top priority seems to be carbs no more than 5%; however, after that is it more important to obtain the fat level or protein level? Is it worse to be a little over in either fat or protein? Is it most important to keep the 5%-70%-25%? A wish: It would be wonderful if the support were alerted automatically whenever your weight stayed consistent for one or two weeks. Then support could review one’s eating to offer feedback. I am trying so hard, measure everything I eat, and do 20 minutes of whole body strength training three times per week. The only part of the problem with this plan, is adequate sleep- unable to sleep or stay asleep. 3 stars for the program

Love this Ap... very easy and helpful. This is a great app! Very easy to use! The team has been wonderful answering my questions and responding quickly. It makes tracking macros and calories super simple. I especially like the “create your own” option. You do need to do the groundwork adding up the calories and macros from your favorite recipes if they haven’t already been done for you. I justAdd up all the macros for each ingredients like my shakes, or my favorite fat bombs that I make on my own and easily added the data under one title. Then I created a name for my recipe, and it appeared in a list, so the next time I have to enter it I just click on the + sign!! They have some pretty interesting and yummy recipes. The only thing I would like to see is a place to track water consumption. Other than this it’s the easiest app I’ve ever used for dieting. It gets five stars for me!

A big help!. This app has been a huge help to me in following the Keto diet plan. I really didn’t know how many carbs that the food I was eating contained and was basically guessing and not losing the weight that I had hoped. With this app there is no guessing. Just add the food you want to eat( or have already eaten) and it gives you the exact carb count ( plus calories, fat grams etc). and adds everything together during the day so you know exactly how many carbs you have left before you are no longer in ketosis. The scanner is a big help as well. Especially when I am in the grocery store shopping for low carb food items. Just scan the barcode and voila. All info pops up instantly! I have already lost 7 lbs and hope to lose 20 total. Looks like I’m heading in the right direction thanks to this app!

KETO TIME! My Journey!. Yes! This is a journey one must embark upon head first [MIND OVER MATTER]... however it takes a village. In my experience in this short 3 weeks I have been on my KETO DIET PLAN I became overwhelmed! I was reading so many great diets, plans, recipes and ideas. However, I thought hey! As long as I stick to cheeses, eggs, good meats, almond flour and heavy whipping cream. I got this...well fast forward to today. While using the Keto Diet App I was losing about 4-5 pounds a week...so I figured...I can do this...I do not need to track...well...I was so wrong!!! I got on the scale and I gained 4 pounds from not keeping within my calories, fats and net carbs. I am back on the KETO DIET APP and staying accountable! They have Q&A sessions [BECAUSE THEY CARE!] so you do not feel alone! I believe the KETO DIET APP is the main tool of my success!!! I am sharing this because I know it works ! I AM ON A DIET and need to make this a lifestyle change! AND I WILL!

Too early- update after 25 days.... I’ve only been using app for a few hours. Too early to ask questions like this. So far, the app takes some time to figure out and it is pretty restricting. Also, I downloaded the FREE app but was locked into paying for a subscription before I even had a chance to use the app. I know I can cancel at any time but what a hocks and a hassle for yo customers. Thanks for asking. I’m 5 starring this app and keto plan after using it now daily for about 25 days. App and program are very flexible. Has many features that provide education, self-control, help when I ask from it and various delicious recipes. I didn’t know anything about keto when I started. I’m learning good eating habits for my body and life style and much more than I knew about food. I see myself using this app for quite awhile into as many days as our gracious God allows to me to eat here on this earth!

Nice start, Excellent support response, doesn’t have the features I need. Negative: I clicked on order for a year by mistake. I immediately reached out (within minutes) to ask for a refund and I was denied. Strike 1 Positive: every time I’ve had a question I’ve gotten a quick response. Apparently there is team support as well but I didn’t sign up for this. Positive: voice entering of ingredients - very easy Negative: too many generic ingredients. (I know this is a terrible example) I ate a king-sized Payday candy bar and I asked that it be added. I got a generic “candy bar” in response. The carb count fat and calories vary from food to food. Positive/Negative: lots of great sounding recipes but no way to sort for ingredients. No way to request to see only foods I like and can eat. Im dairy free so would like to repress recipes that contain dairy. No way to do this. Negative: no folders for created recipes. It’s easy to create recipes, I had to create lots of new foods to even add ingredients to my recipes, but then I needed to scroll through a whole list to find the recipe I wanted. Despite these downsides I decided I was going to use the app anyway. But when I couldn’t find certain foods in the database I decided I will go back to Carb Manager. This has the potential to be great but right now it doesn’t have enough of the features I need to make it worth dealing with. $50 wasted. Lesson learned.

Good. There are things I like and things that could improve this app. First the team is better at their response time than most apps I experience. I give it a 4 star due to this and the benefits of being able to tap your foods and they’re totaled for daily tracking, the app offers input such as recipes and love the tips that are sent and can be saved. The two things that could be better are: 1) I took a break from keto and ready to start again but when I went back on the app today, everything was gone, my saved foods are completely gone so now have to do all the work of rebuilding everything again. Since it’s a blank slate again, may try some other apps that have been recommended since having to start over. One other thing that would be nice is to be able to organize and group things like “main dish”, meats, snacks etc.

LOVE everything about this app!!. I’m not even sure if there is a free version of this app. I have a friend that recommended it so I jumped in and purchased the yearly subscription!! I’ve been using it about a month and LOVE everything about it!! Specifics…where to start!! It makes logging food SO easy! Just scan the barcode and if something isn’t in the database (only found this to happen for homemade products so far), it allows you to enter it manually. You can choose to track macros or not, and as you lose weight it has you update your current weight so it updates your target carbs, protein and calories (I think it tracks fat too). As important as all of that it has a section called Insights and this area has TONS of informational and educational articles!! It also has quizzes in this area so you can test your knowledge on what you’ve read/know! There’s also an area where you can invite friends! I’ve only had to reach out to support once and their support is amazing!! I’m very impressed and I am absolutely worth the yearly subscription amount!! ♥️

Low Carb that makes sense!. I’m 70 years old and I have been using low-carb dieting since the early 70s when I started with the Stillman Diet when I was in high school and I finally had some success. I ended up finding out I had PCOS and now I understand that’s why low-fat diets didn’t work for me. Through the years I used a low-carb approach whenever I needed to lose a few pounds and that diet was our go to in the 80s and 90s and it worked fine. But somehow in my 60s all of a sudden the weight was creeping on and low-carb wasn’t working for me anymore. Learning about the tracking macros has finally made sense to me. I was eating too many calories. In slightly less than a month I’ve lost 12 pounds and the tracking makes it so much easier for me. I don’t expect to continue to lose at this rate, but I feel like I’m going in the right direction and looking forward to continuing on this journey.

Better than expected!. I have been using the Keto Diet App for several months now, and overall, I am incredibly impressed with its functionality and features. It has become an essential tool in my journey towards maintaining a healthy ketogenic lifestyle. While there are a few areas where the app could be improved, its strengths far outweigh any shortcomings. Being able to manually adjust my macros was a gamechanger. I prefer more protein than fat. Once I was able to make that change to fit MY lifestyle, I really began to enjoy using the app. However, the biggest downside to the Keto Diet App, and why I’m only giving it 4 stars, is its food database. While it does include a decent selection of food items, it falls short compared to some other meal planning apps on the market. There have been instances where I couldn't find specific ingredients or brands, requiring me to manually input the nutritional information. Expanding and regularly updating the database would greatly enhance the app's overall usability.

Works for me but ..... This app works for me and since it’s keto focused its easier to manage my goals than other apps that I have. I like that food records are not sorted by meals because I don’t always eat a specific meal based on IF so just seeing what I’m eating is enough for me. I gave it only 4 stars because the food database is not broad enough. I would love to search for restaurant specific food items so when it’s not a scannable product I can still keep accurate count and not just guess. Many of the other apps support dietary details for popular food chains which makes the process of recording and staying on track easier. Also so if the descriptions are limited ie, Crab Legs.. the quantity states ONE! No body eats one crab leg so maybe it could be updated to provide different metrics (1 cluster, oz, lbs). Also, I would love to enter a recipe and have it calculate the values instead of me having to calculate through another source just to add the caloric details. These are just some examples of where I feel the food database can stand improvement and would take my rating from 4-5. Other then these details it is helping me.

This app is not good and not worth your money. I can only believe that the positive comments are from people totally new to keto who don’t know there are better apps with better functionality and easier to use. Beware of generally positive feedback with no substance. Many of these reviews are generically the same. I’ve been on and off keto for years and I like to use an app at first when I am being very careful to count calories and carbs. This one looked good and maybe more user friendly than my fitness pal or others but it’s not. In all honestly this app is a scam. There is no free trial. You have to sign up for a month or year so you say I might as well sign up for the year, it’s a better deal. Wrong. Like others have said, you have to enter so much yourself, it’s not user friendly in my opinion, you can’t see your trends well, and the recipes are complicated but also can be found for free or in one good keto book. I believe developers should be paid for their work and not everything can be free like we all want. But for what they are charging here you get nothing of value. This should be a fully fleshed out app with easy to enter or scan foods. It’s not. Do your research, find the right app, or just log your stats in a diary because this app is totally useless to me. I’d rather delete it and move on than be frustrated and try to use it more. Congrats you got my money, but I hope this dissuades at least a few people from wasting their money and time.

All great but insights are not loading. I absolutely love this app. I think it’s good to note at the beginning that the app is feee, but you do have to subscribe to it. Usually, I don’t like that, but this app is worth it if you want a place to get recipes and help on top of just logging your food, It’s great for keeping track of weight goals as well as what you eat throughout the day. There’s many recipes from the community that you can try, as well as the ability to make your own recipes and share them to the community. It really doubles as a recipe book as well once you start putting in all the things you make. There is also a coaching section offered, though I have not used it. I imagine it would be great for first time keto dieters, but I’ve done keto before so I have not felt the needle a coach. The only problem I have is that there’s an insight tab I’ve not been able to use. It’s in a constant state of updating. I’ve even just left the iPad on the counter with that tab open to see if something would eventually load, but nothing came up. I don’t even know what it’s used for, and would love to check it out. Aside from that, this app is great and I definitely recommend it.

This app works even if you’re not doing keto.. I am 69 years old borderline type two diabetes. My doctor says I have to lose weight. He suggested keto diet. I had a really hard time knowing if I’m on keto or not. This app makes it so easy. You can put down what you eat and it’ll tell you how much carbs how much sugar how much protein fat and everything else you have eaten including. calories. The first week I dropped 4 pounds . I read somewhere that you can have a cheat day once a week. But a normal person does not go above 100 to 150 grams of carbs. So on a cheat day I can still measure how many carbs I’m eating plus stay under total calories I want to stay under so it’s not a total cheat day, if you know what I mean. So if you wanna do calorie counting or Kiyo or both you can do it with this app. I love this app.

Love, Love, Love this app!. This app is so user-friendly and informative! It makes logging your food so easy! You can even scan labels for dietary info! The insights that pop up for education on Keto are super relevant, some are even based on the foods you log to inform your Keto journey! There’s tons of recipes that are absolutely delicious! You can even log and create your own meals and save them in the app for easy access to logging servings through the week if you cook large meals for leftovers like I do! I haven’t used the personal coach feature, I’ve only been tracking my intake and learning all the app has to offer about Keto, relearning habits to meet my macros, measuring portion sizes, and taking my weight-loss journey seriously for the past three weeks. For the first two weeks, I was only tracking and learning and making SOME better choices as far as eating goes, but I wasn’t making drastic changes to my diet. For the last week, I have been meeting my macros and making the changes necessary to get my body into ketosis. So far, I’ve lost 10 lbs! This app is absolutely worth every penny!

Not sure it is worth it. There should be a free trial period before you waste your time and pay good money for it. Should have listened to my husband who said if you can’t evaluate first then don’t buy it. There is no way to choose recipes if you don’t like the ones in the app. For me, many of them are gross and I wouldn’t eat them (kimchi, shirataki noodles, tofu, cod roe). You should be able to exchange recipes out for ones you like when setting up your days. You have to look at a different program to calculate macros if you want to stick to a specific net carbs rather than stick to what they say you should have for protein and fat. Not happy about this app but I have to make due since I paid for a year. If they were so confident about it being so good, there would be a free trial. Edit…your response is not helpful or constructive. You never even addressed the issues that were listed. All you focused on was the complaint about the price, which goes to show all you care about is the money you get.

Well thought out, great database...just needs a few tweaks. I decided to try Keto diet as it seems to be the rave these days and I suspected I was eating too many carbs without even recognizing it. I happened upon this app which is really well thought out. You can input your good three ways: barcode scanning, typing or dictation. I enjoy using a bit of every one of these. They calculate the macros in food and based on your height/weight give the “recipe” for weight loss on the Keto diet. I’d like to see the meals broken down in a spreadsheet type format instead of everything lumped under one heading for the particular day. Also would like to see syncing with Apple Watch or Fitbit. Those are the only reasons I give it 4 stars instead of 5. The developers are genuinely great, they reach out with suggestions and I think they really are trying to get me to succeed. Also I enjoy the “insights” tab which gives a full nutritional overview of what I’m eating based on my input for the particular meal. Thanks guys! Great app!👍🏼

Keto app. I started this journey about three weeks ago knowing -100% about keto, and chose this app totally out of the blue, fortunately for me. I also bought a keto cookbook and guide. After about a week of use I was starting to get the idea thanks to all your timely, informative and thoughtful articles. The food scanner does all the work, and will actually let me add some food to my day for later, and if it shows too much for the day, i can update it to half of the serving size, or less, so I know not to go over. I have used the ww app before & this is definitely comparable to that, and that is a big business. Thank you so much for all you have done here, I’m still early in this journey, so I’m trying to not focus yet on my weight loss, but am looking for visual signs of success, and i do believe I am down an inch or two around my waist. And losing my appetite is huge for me, success in itself. 👍🏻💕👍🏻💕👍🏻

Great tool!. I’m a physician by trade. I am not being paid by anyone to make these statements however it’s personal recommendation. I have always been in shape via persistent diet and exercise but this app has helped me take my goals to the next level. Initially I downloaded this app to support my wife who gained some baby weight after 2 consecutive pregnancies. Within the first month my wife lost one inch around her waist with following keto recipes and consuming only carbs, fat, protein and calories recommended for her profile after the app evaluation. I personally feel more lean, energetic and without any urges to binge eat. I highly recommend to download this app, invest in some keto recipe books for variety of delicious food preps at home. The only negative experience I have with the app is when I signed up for the annual membership they charged me double, when I followed up they advised to followup with the Apple store for possible dispute which I have no time for since my wife signed up during a special and during my signup the special was over, mind you I literally signed up around the same time. I’ll be doing my labs shortly and will post if there is significant changes regarding cholesterol issues or anything pertinent.

Beginning. I am determined to drop this extra 25-30 lbs. I have done it before plus some. However after menopause I have learned that I can not take off what the past 3 years of stress and lake of sleep has added. I have used past apps to document food and nutrition but none of them was able to help me keep track of Net Carbs. This app is very helpful in that area. However it does not take into consideration the Alcohol sugars that should come off the carbs to get the accurate net. I just keep that in mind when I’m looking at the Net. It took me a while to figure it all out on I out and searching. That being said now that I’ve found my way around, I am really liking this app and all the additional insights and knowledge that is within. I highly recommend this app if you are wanting an easy way to log and track. Just getting started on serious Keto track, I will update in a month or so with, hopefully, my progress!!

Losing weight bc of this app!. So I was hesitant to purchase the app bc I thought it would be just like any of diet plan i have purchased in the past. Also I was a huge anti keto person- I use to argue with loved ones about how bad it was for you. But it’s not! Well it depends if youre doing dirty keto or clean keto. I’m doing clean keto and I’ve never felt better in my life! I’m turning 40 in July mine you. Anyhow, the all keeps track of all your macros for you! It tailors your macros to you! Here’s the big secret that no one tells you about keto. By day 3 or 4 all of your cravings are gone! Some crazy chemistry happens in your body and all those sugar cravings you’ve been having every day just disappears! How do you think that people are able to lose so much weight on keto? They don’t crave carbs and sugar anymore. I wish someone had told me this years ago. But here I am telling you! Get the app! You need the app to calculate macros to lose weight! Blessings to you!

Skeptical?. I am a workout fanatic. I’ve tried every type of eating style there is form fasting to paleo. When the pandemic hit it March, my gym was forced to close. I stuck to my meal plan, for the most part, and after 3 months I put on 23 pounds. A coworker has been on keto for just over a year and has lost to date, 113 pounds. I asked if he was putting on weight since he wasn’t able to workout. No he said, I’m still dropping weight, not as fast but it is still coming off. So that was it for me, I was gonna try keto. Five weeks in now, with no gym time, I’m down 20 pounds from my starting weight. This app is the cornerstone of my success. I get to eat everything I’ve been avoiding on every other eating program I’ve tried. Tracking is so simple with the barcode scanner, I can tell at a glance what I need to eat and the best part is the amazing recipes on this app as well. I recommend this app to anyone wanting to start keto. It makes the process much much easier.

I love this. I’ve really enjoyed using this app. Being new to keto I had no idea what I was doing but I had to make a lifestyle change because of my medical condition. My doctor has been telling me to try a keto diet for years and I never would. Then I was faced with lose weight or raise my chances of having a stroke even higher. By that time my ex was going to a clinic weekly for weight loss and they put him on a keto diet. So I said I would try it on my own. I found this app and it allows me to scan the bar codes of items in the store. This was the most helpful because I was able to pick things up knowing they were ok to eat. Then the daily tracker allowed me to stay within a normal range. Three weeks in 25 lbs were gone and I was so accustomed to eating I rarely looked at the app. Now I use it for all the tips and points it gives me on a regular basis. I think this app is SOLID!

Decent app & tracking. I like most of the app, but wish it was more streamlined in trending habits & food intake. I like to look back & see what foods & trends led to weight loss vs. weight stalls. I also wish you could share your information across the app with other friends like it advertised it could do to begin with. Otherwise, i do like all the recipe & insight information which is available, how you can scan barcodes of most items, and how you can trend your actual weight loss/gain. I also know sleep & activity contribute to weight loss, so the ability to track that within the app would be helpful as well. It is a great app overall, but could be even better for us out here struggling. Maybe if we could add all ingredients to a recipe and call it one thing, rather than enter all items separately. I do love the app, just feel like it could be even more user-friendly. Thanks still for all the great things it does do!

I like this app but coupd be better. As anything that is new (and shiny) it is good for what it currently is. But improvements definitely can be made. As an I.T. Person mind you, if I can’t easily navigate between what I want to see quickly, there is an issue. You also need to have much better search engine and predictive text when searching. I should be able to search for “ McDonalds McDouble and take items off of it. So you have the basic but what if I didn’t have the bun, and I got it without ketchup or pickels?” There should be those choices availabe. I know it’s totally totally ght but you put the item in you databse as isand then have all the ingredients on it and their values in the datase as well and when a user of your app wants to customize they can subtract thise items and get near perfect calculation of jet carns and calories... especially net carbs since that is keto but you could easily take these metrics to orher groups who count calories, or protein, etc and market to them as well. You are half way there, just build your database and your metrics and you have a great keto app that is easily “expandale” (because I can’t find the correct word in my vocabulary at the moment, but you know what I mean) that can be used for any kind diet! Fluid is the word that is coming to mind but that’s still not the right one. I hope you know what I am talking about. You build something that the template of what you have created can easily be reproduced iover and over.

My view of the app. I’m new to this keto diet I am a month into it and I tried this app along 2 others to track foods for a few weeks .i did like the app at one point which is why I ended up upgrading but it’s not something I was looking for in a app.I noticed when I tracked food on one keto app and this app the food would be different in calories , net carbs etc. and I would write and track the exact same thing . I just like this other app personally because I could scan something on the other app and it would be helpful to see what I can have and what to avoid.I don’t think this is a bad app it’s just tedious to me if I forget to track something and I try to track it later I have to wait a minute or two to make sure they don’t end up logged all together as one giant meal. I wish it had a part that tracks your water intake like a couple of other apps it might just be just me. At one point I did like that it was set up by times since my mornings do start early but I just don’t like that if you forget you can’t log what you had and another meal all at once .it’s just not helpful for me to keep track personally on meals i eat. I did like the information it would give it’s useful but just not sure if it is for me now.

Don’t download unless you plan on buying! Waste of time!. I was very excited to check out this app. I filled out all the set up questions. However, I can’t even view the layout, options, or if I would like the app, because the pop up requires payment before you can see or try ANYTHING! The App Store says “in app purchases” which implies optional or for premium. There is no free option at all and you can’t see anything to decide if you might like or want to pay for it. Complete waste of time. Don’t bother unless you plan on buying a premium 1 year membership. No try before you buy here. Disappointed! Looking for option for zero star rating. Thank you for not answering my concern in your reply. Feels like you didn’t even read my message. Yes, saw the choice to purchase a plan. However, there is not a decline option. If you close the offer window. It shuts down the app. When you relaunch it goes back to the plan payment page and you cannot access anything on the app to view what it looks like or how it works. Payment is required up front with no option to view first.

On the right track. I’ve been on keto since Christmas Day, I started with what little basic knowledge I had and did fairly well but not knowing how to track my macro’s. I felt I was doing some things wrong but still lost 9 pounds when I down loaded this app. Which completely took all my concerns away, I actually was eating way too many carbs than my specific limits allowed and not eating near enough fat. With this App came with much needed confidence to continue on. Your app took all the guess work out of eating this way and the longer I’ve been on it the more confidence I have to a more healthy life. I have lost a total of 20 pounds as of today since Christmas and I am now considering changing my goal weight to 135 which was my “younger self’s” fighting weight. I never thought at my age of 57 years old 135 pounds would be an attainable weight to reach until now. Thank you so much from the very bottom of my heart. I can not wait to update when my focus and memory noticeably get better on this diet as well. Just another benefit of this food lifestyle has to offer that I am looking forward to.

Needs a “favorites” section and sugar alcohol adjustments. I’ve been using this app for almost 2 weeks and it’s pretty good. I’m not sure it’s worth $60 a year, I kind of wish I took more time to explore other apps. The two biggest things I wish it had were 1. Some way to “favorite” a food item that you use a lot so you don’t always have to search for it or keep scanning the barcode. The “recent” section is only so helpful. I would love to be able to tab over to pre-selected foods/ingredients. Second, the formula doesn’t take into consideration sugar alcohols so some items that are low carb and great for keto show up as “avoid on keto” because of the sugar alcohol as not being subtracted from the carb total. Overall it’s a good app, but for $60/year, it could use some additional, helpful features.

Keeps you on track. Pros: Easy to use. Reminds you what to do (weigh, enter food). Keeps track of weight from day to day. Indicates total amounts (protein, fat, carbs, calories) and subtracts amounts as you enter foods and drinks you’ve consumed. Finding foods is easy even entering those foods you make. Record keeping is so easy. Cons: Have to follow apps’ times instead of my own. I often have breakfast at what is lunchtime for others so when I enter my breakfast it enters as lunch. At the end of the day I cannot enter dinner. Solution might be to label meals: breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner for example. Although entering food is simple, one difficulty was sometimes with units used. Easy to use often would be spoonfuls or number of cups instead of weights (grams, ounces, etc) or fraction of food item (such as what fraction of cantaloupe did I eat). Of course sometimes weight might be appropriate. Of many apps I have used this is one of the best and I highly recommend it.

Don’t trust it. Noticing inconsistencies with regards to scanning Atkins products. Atkins will most often claim less net carbs than the app will claim, and I’d conservatively side with the app when this would occur. Where the app and Atkins agree, however, is with the Atkins chocolate coconut bars, at 2 net carbs, as long as you get the 5 pack. If you want the 10 bar value pack, the app jumps to 10 net carbs; THEY'RE THE SAME BAR, and all the nutritional value, picture on the boxes, etc. is IDENTICAL! Apparently the carbs multiply when too many of them share the same box. There is some comfort in the app limiting you to 34 net carbs a day, where the ketogenic diet usually limits to 50 net carbs, so there is a wider margin of error. But there’s not a fancy formula the app is following, it’s just the simple total carbs, minus grams of fiber, which you can do in your head. It be nice if it factored in the more complicated equations that allow for more flexibility in choices. It’s really useful in tracking your daily consumption instead of tracking it on paper, if you can trust what it’s telling you.

5 Stars!. This app is so great!! My husband and I have been working the Keto plan for the last few weeks. We had so many questions. Especially if we had achieved ketosis. I have been losing weight but he has not. Which made us wonder if we were doing it right? The app is easy to use, even for me (commuters and I are not typically friends). Now I’m able to enter my meals and know exactly where I am for the day! We have a book for low carb diet and there’s tons of information online but it’s so nice to have it all together in one place. I seldom write reviews but I’m so excited about how easy this app is to use and how much additional information is available, (recipes, articles, online assistance, etc.) that I just had to check in. I now feel certain I’ll achieve my weight loss goals! Thank you!

My last hope of loosing weight. I have bought a lot of apps and spent so much money on a bunch of things that have done nothing to help me loose weight I have never liked logging my food cause it was always such a hassle trying to figure out what calories and fat content and especially the carbs I was just trying to calculate everything. This app is definitely worth it I realize I have only had it a few hours but I gotta say this is awesome app and if it keeps going this good I will get the premium subscription. This does everything for me I love that all I have to do is speak into the microphone and it does everything else I don’t have to guess or get frustrated with endless writing down everything I have eaten for the day and then typing it all in and hopefully not missing anything. I love this app and I will definitely be using this app at all times for my weight loss goals. THIS APP IS DEFINITELY MY NEW BEST FRIEND!!!!♥️

Not too shabby. This app so far is good. No diet anything if free unless you attempt to do it on your own so the cost was expected. I like having the insights geared towards what I am eating or drinking which makes it more personal rather than just broad for everyone. I like the recipes that are in the app, I’ve only eaten those since I started 4 days ago but I’m sure I’ll find others outside eventually. I don’t NOT like that I said I don’t eat mushrooms and almost every recipe in my meal plan has mushrooms in them. I should be able to make a change to show recipes without the mushrooms but that’s not the case. I also wish that people could add reviews to the recipes in the app so we have some insight into what others thought and maybe some substitutions that were made to add to it or something similar. 4 days in and I’m already losing weight which says more than any other diet app or program I have tried so far.

My Keto diet. For the past five years, I have been going on in the world all forms of diet. I’ve always been a healthy eater. But when menopause came, the week came with it and nothing seem to work. I decided to give Keto a try. Which means I had to eat a lot of things that I pretty much tried to stay away from, steaks, and foods with high fat. I heard some bad feedback on keto‘s, so it was important to me to research and approach it in the healthiest way in doing so I made sure my fat intake was healthy, avocados, olive oil’s. I stopped with all processed food, and introduced myself to almond flour, coconut flour and a few other healthy choices. I enjoy making my own bread and trying new recipes. Easy recipes. To my surprise Keto is the one thing that worked. In three months I have lost 12 pounds. I’m on a 1200 day calorie and surprised that it’s enough. When I crave food it’s because I’m bored not hungry. So I drink my water and in a few minutes forget I was looking to eat. So far I think keto is a great way to lose weight, but it’s important that we make healthy choices on it. Not go out and binge on bacon, sausage and unhealthy fats. Instead, grab a handful of spinach with olive oil. You’ll be surprised that it will keep you satisfied.

Keto for Ironman triathletes. 23 days using app. I’m a long distance triathlete in my 50’s and although I race and train about 10-14 hours a week, my weight had crept up over the years due to a poor diet loaded with carbs. I like the app mainly because I needed to lose 30 lbs (lost 11 in 21 days) and I wanted to turn my body into a fat burning body instead of the carbs. The app has been instrumental in managing the carbs and also getting the right macros in good fat. I also have done a good good with lean proteins etc but went way overboard on fruits (bananas mainly in daily training. 5 days a morning etc). So cutting out the carbs (even though many were natural) has been great. I rode a 60 mile ride last week on zero carbs and felt great. Once I hit my goal weight loss, I’ll modify my carbs to be more in line with the hours of training I’m use too and also carb fuel the 5-8 hour training days but I’ll still use the app to monitor macros daily and evaluate ups/downs in energy during training.

Love this Keto app!!. I was very skeptical at first, because there are so many keto apps out there , but I was so happy to find this app was very user-friendly and the features , amazing. Voice recording your food, scanning the products barcode, upbeat, gentle reminders to record and a really supportive, responsive staff, if you have any questions. I have done keto before, but I love that this app breaks your macros down daily, indicating how many you should have for your weight, sex, age and activity level. It keeps track of them automatically, as you record your food intake, so that you can see how many proteins, carbs, fats you have ingested or need . To have all that information at the tip of your fingers, for such a reasonable price, is a really great investment. I’ve already lost 18 lbs, which has been really difficult for me to do , up until now! It takes the guesswork out of everything and leaves you feeling completely in control of your choices. Trust me, you will love it 👍

Awesome. Makes keto doable for me. I could never go more than 1.5 days by myself. I’m now finishing my third day!! I’ve lost 2 lbs. All the information you could ever want about keto eating is in this app. I’m beyond grateful! The creators seem like people who wholeheartedly wanted to help those people who are overweight. Or just lower sugar and carbs in their diets. It is a challenge if you were like me and grazed all day. I was always eating. Now when I eat I’m paying attention. Pork rinds are a free food! That helped loads. Tonight I’m having two fried eggs, bacon and slices tomatoes. With some pork rinds in place of bread! I have cans of asparagus, spinach, and green beans, black olives etc to snack on. If you really want to do this you need this app. It’s amazing how good food is when your not eating all the time! There recipes are real food easy to make. A BLT is like it says a bed of lettuce, bacon and tomatoes with mayo thinned to drizzle over it all! Tomorrow a Reuben without the bread. Yum! Definitely a godsend!

Keto for seniors. I started keto in March 2022 and in 5 months have lost 20+ pounds. It’s a bit confusing in the beginning on what you can eat but following the sample plans offered on the app got me on track. Now I know what to stay away from. I like this new way of eating and feel better and cleaner. The app is super easy to use and it helps to log food as you eat it so you’re not cheating or trying to recall the food for the day. At 65 years old I had to reset my body and exercise more. Gone are the days when I could skip a few meals and drop 5 lbs. I don’t take any meds except for HRT daily. I’ll see what my blood work reveals next week. My cholesterol has been 200+ for several years. Hoping to see a positive result. It’s worth the dollar a week to keep the app. It keeps me accountable for my weight.

Great Coaching. This App has the most information than any other I have found. You are provided with daily tidbits that explain the principles of Keto. I found that knowing more than just counting carbs was a huge motivator to get me back on track at last. About the only suggestion I would put out is to allow us to look back at previous days and see our success with choices made. So glad I found you guys

Lifesaver App. I have tried every diet there is- they all work but have always ended up putting weight back on. I have used this app for 3 weeks and so far have lost 5kgs. I was disappointed at first as some diets I have done I have lost 10kgs in the same time but I have been convinced that slower is better with losing weight and I am also older. This app keeps you on track with the food you have eaten and also gives you some great recipes. I feel confident that I will win the race with this plan as is it is quite varied and I enjoy the food so far.

Great motivator. I’m new to the Keto App and to the ideas behind the diet. I was motivated to take it up after hearing new research on the health benefits to people with diabetes, Alzheimer’s etc. The App helps with education and motivation. It measures your carbs and calories from simple inputs x cups, slices etc. I haven’t tried scanning product codes but I see that is an option - not sure if it works for Australia? - but it’s a cool feature. There are recipes too - they look easy without fussy ingredients. The Keto App is the complete package and I’d recommend it.

Could be good. This app asks you a ton of questions, gets your email address and it seems to be good. Then you get to the end and presto! Can’t go any further without signing up to around $10 month. Should state that before you waste your time, or at least give a free trial to see if you like it. No way will I pay for something I have not seen or even seen the detail. If they provided what they are actually selling before taking your money I may have signed up.

My keto. I would like to say I really enjoy having keto I have been on it for a couple of weeks and I can see a big difference in my clothes I thought I might be hungry but I was amazed in the foods you can eat I am still learning every day about keto and the recipes are very good .

Carol. This Keto app is very helpful to the Keto diet and has a team of experts that will answer all questions you may need to ask . This app also has a great meal plan, chart to keep track of what you are eating and information on what the keto diet is . I would recommend this app to anyone that is looking to start the keto diet .

Glad I did. I was hesitating and have to admit the app is making my journey so much easier. I have not lost much yet, however this is purely my fault as I am finding it difficult to give up the alcohol. I track every meal every day and I am learning a lot about carbs. I am never hungry and the app contains so many meals and recipes and even dessert is not off limits. It is a constant companion you can rely on.

An excellent app. This app is an excellent support for those looking to change their lifestyle and eating habits. It gives me a graphic representation of my day’s eating. It allows you to put in a goal weight along with your gender, exercise level etc. It then calculates daily goals for you. I really like the instant help with how many carbohydrates you might find in a natural food. I also appreciate the updates recently done to the app. I was genuinely looking to change my eating and needed a great deal of support to move away from the low fat model that advertising and people seemed to promote. My experience has been successful. I am half way to my goal weight and have lost 20 kilo since starting in early May 2020. I heartily recommend this app rather than expensive website subscriptions which do not provide the nuts and bolts education that this app does.

Not free. There is nothing free except this free download. You fill out the plan and then you’re pushed into the subscription page. It’s very misleading. The app that is downloaded for free is inaccessible to use unless you purchase a subscription. You even have your time wasted setting up what you think is your account only to hit the paywall. This is not a feature, this wastes your potential customer’s time. There is nothing in the description of the app that mentions only subscription access available. Give me my time and data usage cost back please. Also the developer will post a condescending copy/paste response onto reviews that misses the point being made about this.

Great App to stay on track. Highly recommend this app. You won’t be disappointed in investing dollars purchasing it. It’s been a fabulous tool to track everything you eat as well as movement and exercise. I’ve done Keto diets before but haven’t weighed and tracked the amount of food I was eating. This has made a huge difference in my successful weight loss journey.

User friendly. Really good app. Easy to use and super visual. I almost gave it 4 stars because the Australian Products database is non-existent. Every time I scan products the app doesn’t find them. Even pretty common products. Small nuisance as you need to create them and then scan the nutritional fact and amend it. Thanks for the response :) after using the app a fair bit, there are a lot of ‘Australian healthy’ products in the database. I’m guessing people are adding and sharing. Anyways, still great app!

Getting into routine. At first I found the recipes daunting - so many unusual ingredients, prep time etc. but I used them to find ingreds that I like, that are right for keto. Now I’m in a rhythm of favourite brek, favourite lunch, no food waste. Being in ketosis is so much easier to control temptation to eat bread or choc then with other diets, cos I’m not actually hungry. Weight loss plateaued in the 3rd week but persevering. The tips and encouragement in the app are good and it’s helpful to count daily nutrition. Time consuming but worthwhile!

Annoying - I wasted my money to see if it would work.. Signed up, went through the whole process to see if it would solve my app woes. I’ve been looking for just a simple way to put my raw food plans into a planner. After being prompted to pay for a month I regretfully did to see if it would be a good app for me. Needless to say it didn’t solve the problem I had. Wasted $25 just to test it. A trial would have been great. Not happy :(

A Highly Recommended App. Hi Everyone, I started the keto diet a number of years ago and it played a key factor in my weight loss of 20 kg. I went off keto quite a while ago, but am back on it given its effectiveness along side of an intermittent fasting regime. Back then, there weren’t any decent apps out, so all my calculations for carb counting etc. was done by me manually, which took time and on occasion lacked some accuracy because I just couldn’t bothered or couldn’t find the right information to complete the calculation. I came across the keto diet app, after trying a few others and it is by far the best app I’ve used. It is quick, accurate, has a heap of food types and highly informative with great up-to-date information about keto and associated dieting and health. Seriously one of, if not the best, keto apps out right now! It comes highly recommended and it will not disappoint beginners or old hands at keto. Well done!

No free trial version available. I agree with other reviews here regarding misleading info. There is no free content. It is free to download but then you hit the paywall during set up. It looks like it’s a great app, I have heard good reviews for it. But I was really hoping for a free trial version before I pay for a subscription. I live in Australia and since starting Keto 4 years ago I have found most apps don’t have many Australian products in their database, most barcodes return no results for data. I don’t want to have to pay for a product that I have no way of knowing if it will actually be of use to me, especially when I also have to factor in the exchange rate between AUD and USD.

Hey your app is great but I can’t get it to work anymore. I was able to use the app for about three days before it would simply refuse to open. I see the purple screen with the logo but after that I go straight back to the home page. So I’m assuming it simply doesn’t start up at all. Anyway I’ve tried to uninstall and reboot my phone a number of times to fix it but the results so far have been the same. Misleading and expensive. Went through the effort of downloading, entering data and just got to the main screen only to find I HAVE to pay to see anything. I can’t even explore the app to see if it’s worth paying for. Literally open the app and IMMEDIATELY forced to sign up. No free trial, no opportunity to see anything about the data I just input. This app is not free. Costs $105 AUD for 1 year paid upfront. Wasted my time downloading it. I have already deleted the app. Don’t bother unless you’re happy to pay for something you have no idea is right for you.

Very helpful. I was very skeptical when I first signed up for this app but have been on it for about 3 weeks now and have found it very helpful. It is great how it gives you insights into food you log and creative ways of cooking them or what to look for. My only problem is it deals in Ounces in articles - which is tricky to relate when you are used to Kilos and grams, and also doesn’t let you convert calories into kilojoules. I would also be great to have an Australian version where it recognizes more Aussie food, but that is generally ok with most things. A strong suggestion is to add an exercise category- maybe one that connects to Fitbit or something similarly- I do a lot of exercise and it would be good to be able to manage my energy levels better. Very helpful live chat when I have asked ‘dumb questions’ too! So far I have lost about 5kg so I’m pretty happy with that.

From Maxine I’Donnell. I no longer require your Keto app thanks. As I wrote in my message some days ago, I found it all too confusing and had to get get help from a digital expert last week. He was a male with Type 1 diabetes. Having seen me and asking lots of questions he was most concerned that I was going to follow your Keto plan. I have no complaints about your plan, and have heard of some good results, but feel that it is not for me. As mentioned, I made a wrong choice and am very sorry that I paid out over $160 all up. It was a lot of money considering I am on a pension. As for a review - good luck and strong control for all those attempting a lasting result. It sounds terrific.

Toni S. I’m no scientist and found books about keto confusing. This app delivers important information in “bite”😊 size pieces. It’s easy to track your progress with visual maps and the team are always there to answer any questions you might have.

The app is so easy to use. The easiest app I’ve used, voice command is spot on, option to make own list of foods is easy, just tap a food and that’s it , Counts all macros for you. I never pay for apps but this is a great investment , once you get pass the 1st 2-3 Days keto because the new norm .

Keto app. I have now been using the keto app and it is absolutely amazing. This is my first time doing keto lifestyle, I don’t call it a diet because it is depriving you of anything your body needs, once you get through the first couple of days you are not hungry at all and with the creative meal plan and all the information you are set to gain good health all the bloating gone! Then the weight loss starts! Good luck on your keto journey and enjoy the app I couldn’t do it without it.

Love this app!!!. The keto diet app has really helped me to watch what I eat and stick to a keto diet with so many yummy recipes, the calculator tool to input what you are eating and add up the carbs and calories is so awesome.....I’ve even found myself putting veggies/fruits into it before eating them as I was so surprised how some of them have so many carbs!!! I’ve been doing the keto diet for the past 3 weeks (admittedly not super strict allowing the weekend to be a bit naughty with some extra carbs and no exercising) and I’ve lost 3kgs :)

Review. I am new to Keto, I began with a different app. I thought I was doing ok but I got some ketogenic strips and found I was not in ketosis. My main problem was you could not list the foods you ate separately, they had set meals which sometimes meant I was having more carbohydrates than I thought. With this app listing foods separately and seeing carbohydrates in each food has made everything easier and now I am in ketosis.

Keto App ~ is a Roadmap to change. I’m 75 y.o and 7 kg over weight and Australian . I needed to lose the weight and decided Keto could work I am an exerciser so disciplined ;but I need structure and numbers. I looked everywhere for an app and got to this one; reviews were good so off I went. I love it because it gives targets of food and you can record everything you put in your mouth. I love the choices of recipes, meal planning, coaching. Simply put I could not have changed to a Keto style eating without it; I also love that you can include all your exercise that list is extensive. Thanks Team love your work

KETO DIET APP IS A WINNER. I cannot believe how my blood sugar has dropped from 12 to 4 in the space of five weeks. This APP supplies amazing snippets to update you on all facets of KETO along with many support messages each day.I would also state that this APP is FUN and I look forward to each day. Also, currently lost 8 kgs. I think the term diet underestimated the true science involved - truely amazing

It works in helping lose weight. No wonder why I couldn’t lose weight before! This app makes me know each day when I’m going over in my macros! Worth it!! Have lost 12 kilos in 2 months so far as I’m not going over with my carbs/fat etc Lots of recipes to choose from!

Have subscription before account set up. I went through the whole set up to find out there isn’t a free option. Your description says ‘upgrade’ costs for extra, but upgrade from what there is no free account to upgrade from. I’d recommend having the subscription set up first before spending time providing all my info to find out I won’t use it as I’m not keen to subscribe before I try to see if there are results. Maybe even a 3 month or 30 day trial? Just some suggestions.

Keto is my first diet and I needed professional guidance. It’s so much information online but I wanted to personalise my journey. Changing the paradigm of FAT. I tried my own contemporary version of a Keto style of eating & found I wasn’t so hungry as opposed to other “diets”. I have 15kgs to lose but I’m more concerned with reducing my blood pressure & cholesterol levels. I’m really happy I chose this Keto App to help me take a more disciplined approach to the diet. I really need to track my “macros”! I have ticked off the blood pressure issue - thought I was still going through Keto flu!!! I’ve stopped my medication. Next goal is the cholesterol - so a blood test in a couple of weeks will give me that result. Weight loss is steadily zigzagging down & that’s ok - this new style of eating is a complete turn-around of thinking; always been indoctrinated into believing even the good fats are BAD for you. Good luck in your journey everyone.

Won’t even let you see the app without buying a subscription. Going by the screenshots this app seems like it would be good, but once you download it and go through the initial setup it doesn’t even let you see what the app looks like or how it works before it brings up a screen to pay for a subscription. There’s no option for a trial or anything to give you some kind of indication if the app is worth the money, they just expect you to blindly pay for it straight up. Bit of a shady practice and doesn’t instil confidence in the app. If they incorporate an option for a trial period to get a feel for the app I would consider using it, but at this stage I’m not comfortable giving a company money without knowing what I’m paying for.

Poor user experience. After reading the excellent reviews, I decided to give this app a go. I used other apps (such as Carb Manager) before but would like to discover more keto apps. After I installed it and set up my profile, I never got a chance to look at the app. The annoying Premium Fee screen kept coming up, and I could hardly see anything or explore any features. I ended up paying the whole year's premium because the app only offered three months and one-year premium options, and the price was not far from each other. After 10 mins with the app, I was disappointed because it doesn't have as much of a food database as other apps I had used before(I am in Australia.) I needed to log many foods manually instead of using a barcode scan. Scanning the food label nutrient options took a long time as well. I recommend the app develop more functions such as a fast timer, a filter for recipes to quick filter dietary style, various macro calculations fit for other keto or low carb users, and daily goals more visualized on the interface.

Happy!. Hi! Everyone, Just though I’d let you know why I’m happy I found this app. Been on the Keto lifestyle since October last year, doing it on my own, lost 20kg then I started to flounder, joined this wonderful way of keeping track and finding helpful information. I’m no spring chicken (74 last month) In the week’s since joining, my energy level has skyrocketed, this style of eating my body loves, tummy troubles have faded, blood pressure down, lots more energy. Wish I’d had all this knowledge years back. Hope all your journeys are as good as mine🥰🌷

A must app for Keto. This app made my Keto journey possible. It was recommended by a friend who said it made keto easy. That is exactly what this app has done - took all the guess work out of keto and made my journey easy. I could continually see my weight goal getting closer and also each day knew exactly what I need to eat. Fantastic. Also the help line was fantastic when I needed some guidance. I have recommended this app to many friends who also love it.

Keto Diet App. I recently started using this App & find it a great help. You enter your age, height, weight& goal weight & the App works out how many carbs, fats, protein & calories recommended for each day. It also gives you daily info/tips. If you have a question you can ask a coach. Also there’s a Facebook group which I find wonderful. Highly recommend.

Helpful App for starting out. Great help when starting out, tracking carbs and intake. Meal planner needs work as you should be able to plan further ahead and sometimes the meal swaps don’t save. Some really great recipes that are delicious but there are also some that don’t seem to have been tested as they don’t work as intended. Would be great to have some more recipes. The butter chicken is awesome 🤤

Can’t see anything until paying. After going through all the steps to set up my profile which included providing personal details about health conditions etc, you hit a paywall of a $110 yearly subscription. There’s no free trial to test it out or even the ability to explore the app as the subscription screen doesn’t have a close button. It’s pretty disappointing as you should be able to see what you'll be paying for. If you thought you had a good product, you wouldn’t have an issue offering a free trial.

My journey so far. I am finding the Keto/lifestyle easy (no diet word is used)especially since I have the daily app menu I follow..My husband has also been doing it with me and my goodness he has list so much weight I’m a little jealous but I am slow but steady with my weight loss too. Bonus my blood pressure has dropped significantly and we aren’t craving naughty treats.. I am a bit slack sometimes writing my daily intake but I’m still learning to use apps in general. Very Helpful. I have been using the Keto Diet App for approximately one month. I live in Australia so fine that a lot of foods are not listed. The scan tool is quite good as it does work on 3/4 of the foods I scan and I can usually adapt. It would be nice if it supported all the foods I enter and have the option of metrics more often. Overall, it does keep me accountable and really that is all I need. I’ve set up the notifications to remind me to track my foods and I really enjoy reading the insights for further information.

Lose weight with motivation and confidence. It's easier to track your macros when you have an app like this. The app helps you set your goals and macros. Daily weigh-in reminders keeps you tracking and accountable. It's easy to track your intake. I've never had such great results without using an app. Well worth the subscription.

Off putting subscription process. After you get through setting up all of your information you are told the app is not free, nor does it have a trial version. There is a 1 week fee paying option however this was not offered at sign up, only more expensive options. I discovered this through looking in ‘my subscriptions’, where there are many sign up options that are not offered in the app. Once in the app there is great information and recipes. However , you can get a ‘meal plan’, but no option to change it or to tailor the meal plan to dietary needs such as vegetarian. Good concept that needs work and greater transparency over their fees

Keto app. What a brilliant concept . It’s easy to use, what can be easier than speaking to an app ? It gives an instant and accurate account of what you’re eating ...... the only downside is ME ! I was going gangbusters then started a new job and my cart tipped ......working at getting back to using what is a actually an app like no other !

Very Helpful App. I’ve been using this app since my doctor told me to lose a lot of weight when blood pressure medication failed to solve my problems. I knew lots already about food and nutrition but not specifically about how to “get into ketosis and stay there” as I was instructed. I’ve found this app super helpful and have been successfully losing weight since I started using it. I paid for one year - bargain - I’d be saving that amount on food anyway.

Macros made easy. This app is so worth it! Making it so easy to stay in nutritional ketosis. If you take update requests, when I am in my food and meals tab & I start a search, the tab defaults back to common and I have to tap back onto the food & meals to find what I was looking for. Anyway, love this and thanks for the amazing app!

Best keto app around. The subscription costs but I think it’s worth it for the functionality. It has barcode, but also voice recognition which for me is the game changer. I just add my food via voice now. It makes it so much quicker to track. The interface and Home Screen is super intuitive also.

Simplifies Keto for best results. I’ve been using this app for two months and find it perfect for keeping my Keto diet on track. It works out how much of each macro, ie Carbohydrates, Fat, Protein and of calories you should be consuming a day to ensure consistent and healthy weight loss. I have tried Keto before without an app but with nowhere near the success I’m having with my purple Keto app.

Can’t see anything without paying. You spend 5 min going through all the questions and them collecting data on you to find you can’t even see the app unless you subscribe. Don’t care if you can cancel it. At the very least should be able to see what it does for 7 days and look around the interface. Useless. It doesn’t matter if it generates macros. All the other apps let you. And you’re own description of the app says it’s free to download and subscription requires certain features such as voice input etc. it implies you’ll still get to at least look at something. The free trial locked behind a $100 subscription hoping you forget is a tad dishonest.

Can’t even sample it before buying. You can’t even explore the app before the paywall pops up and there is no option to remove it. So it’s literally forcing $50 something a year before you even look at the app interface. Instant delete.

Seems of shady. Why is this app listed a as free? First you answer a bunch of questions intertwined with motivational slides just to add some hype. Then you come to a scree that only has payment plans. I want to see some examples of what I get with this app. I’d like to see a sample grocery list just to see how easy and how much I’d be expecting to spend per week/month. I want to see a sample of activities they recommend, because I have a severely injured back and I have mobility issues. Basically, I’d like to see if this app is worthwhile for me to subscribe to. I’ve read the other reviews on here saying almost exactly what I’ve written, and I don’t care if a month is the minimum time I can subscribe for…no, no, NO! I want to see if this app is worth it before I spend a single dime on it! It’s pretty shady that you don’t let people take a peek before making us pay. Just google keto for cheap/free and you’ll get the EXACT same thing as I’m sure this app has. I just thought it would be easier to track on my phone, but hey…the notebook app on my phone is free.

Great tips and tracker. I am enjoying this app. It’s truly has some great recipes and tips on how to get the right numbers in. I also like the activity tracker, which allows me to increase my consumption sometimes when I am feeling hungry while promoting exercise to get those extra calories. Love it!!💕

Not very keto smart. This app is ok for the most part but the food list is terrible. Some of the most basic foods aren’t there. Also, you would think you could log keto friendly options like Caesar salad without crouton or a bun less burger, but you can’t. You have to lit all the ingredients. I have switched to a smarter app.

DECEPTIVE!!!. As they advertise this app to be free, I downloaded it from the App Store, but that is a lie. It is not free! After going through the initial setup, they ask you to choose a subscription plan and won’t let you navigate the app without paid subscription. The only reason I downloaded the app was to take a look at their “carb tracker” that they had advertised as part of the free app. Guess what? They don’t let you even see that without paid subscription. This is deceitful advertising. I’m deleting this worthless app.

Workbooks. Ordered the workbooks several days ago. Received a message they would be sent within a few minutes. It has been several days and still no workbooks Very disappointed in the app.

Miss leading information with free trail!. Be careful with the app l signed up for the 7days free trail and my card was charged right away for a year subscription which I don’t need.

Awesome. Unfortunately I didn’t stay disciplined using the app. I partnered up with a physical team which works better for me. However, disappointed in the accessibility to cancel the subscription. No cancel button only renew options and now I have to contact Apple because there is no direct contact for this app. 😡

Game changer!. This app has helped me so much to stick to my macros and successfully lost weight on keto. The key is logging everything in, but once you get in a rhythm it’s like a challenge to yourself to stick with it. There’s some changes I’d like to see in the recipes section (once you create your recipe it would be nice if you could go back and view the recipe, not just the nutrition/macro information) - unless I’m missing something … but the search function is helpful.

Scam. This app may be great if you are willing to pay $100 for it. Once you answer the questions it automatically goes to payment options. You don’t even get to see how the app works or see what it offers. There is multiple options for payment plans that is a lie. I chose the 3 month plan for $16 and was charged $50. The app is a scam don’t waste your time.

It is not a free app. This is advertising as a free app and it is not !!! I have no problem paying for an app but when false advertise ( in my opinion) what other hidden charges are there going to be . Thanks , this is just my thoughts…

Not good. The biggest problem is the recipe are for multiple servings but the nutritional factors is for one serving and they don’t say how much one serving is. Very poor design Also im not sure where the 1000’s of recipes are you would be hard pressed to find 100

Helped so much. I love this app. It has helped me stay on track and plan my meals which is key! I would recommend it for sure. I actually had my sister join as well. Along with keto, intermittent fasting (which is so easy on keto) and exercise I have lost 11 lbs in 3.5 weeks. So motivated!!

Only Free for about three minutes?. The app description says it’s free (with the basic features) unless you decide to subscribe to get additional features. I didn’t need the additional features, so I figured I could use the free stuff. I signed up, answered their questions, received the “you’ll reach your weight goal in X days”, and then shortly after that screen I wasn’t able to continue unless I agreed to a paid subscription?? I clicked ‘see other plans’ thinking that’s where the Free plan would be, but it still only offered paid plans. I suppose it could be a glitch, but since I couldn’t go any further through the screens, I deleted the app. A waste of my lunch break. 🙁

Beginners keto 5 stars. Excellent to start up, full of helpful info and easy to use. I’ve dropped 20 lbs in the last month.

Poor personalization and customization. You can’t find any pre added foods even basic ones! You have to search nutrient info and add it manually. Other apps have lots and lots of foods added even without premium option. I don’t recommend.

Discouraging to say the least. The lengthy and detailed process of setting up your account and plan feels like this app wants to provide a decent service. Unfortunately this is undercut by the sudden and unprovoked paywall to actually use the app. With no free services or options I am completely deterred from using it(i would happily watch adds even just to look at my macro numbers, without the recipes and other “fluff” content). The amount of energy you use to convince yourself you need to pay for this app or pay to enjoy a keto lifestyle, could just go into monitoring your own diet. Access to knowledge about how you can be healthier should be free.

Keto. Great app for keeping track of all food

Best Odds of Tackling Keto. I have researched Keto for two years and finally had a go at it January -March 2019 with mixed results. At the time, I feared what would happen to my body if it “forgot” how to digest bread, rice, potatoes, etc and therefore I ate those items on weekends. In hindsight, that was truly pointless, as you won’t see results if you constantly hop in and out of ketosis. So while I take half the blame for my failed attempt last year, I also did not find the “online community” program I was using very helpful. [I tried Deb Murtaugh’s TKS program.] Personally, I do better with science and facts than I do with community testimonials and support. It bothered me that you couldn’t question why some foods were prohibited while others were okay (ie. they had done the math for you, so don’t question the menu, just DO it!!) By contrast, my second attempt this year with the Keto app has been a huge success! You learn through trial and error which foods are great / not great by means of the coloured traffic lights: salad and cucumbers get a green light, so eat as much as you like. Some fruits are a yellow light, as their naturally occurring sugars push the carb content too high. Red light items are to be eaten infrequently and sparingly. Journaling what you eat for breakfast and then predicting what you will eat for dinner gives you a tally of your total daily calories, plus the macro percentage breakdown. Essentially, you get advance notice of whether to eat a smaller portion of what you intended to eat, or maybe switching out one vegetable for another. I liked to cook entrees in bulk for the week, calculate the calories & macros per serving, then enter the data under “My Foods”. Knowing exactly how many calories I would consume for dinner then made it easier to decide what to eat for breakfast and lunch. The ability to enter your age, gender, weight and activity level means that the math more closely reflects what # of calories you need to stay within to achieve weight loss. You can change your weight as the pounds start dropping; you can also change the activity level if you pick up a new sport (or drop it) and you can see the assigned calories and macros change accordingly. Brilliant! Finally, the foods you enter prompt the system to tailor articles to your tastes. “Insights” offer you short articles about the pros / cons of each food you are eating; tips to optimize weight loss; some mindset coaching techniques; the impact hormonal changes can have on your metabolism; etc etc. Knowledge is power! I highly recommend the app. I have dropped 25 lbs in 3 months and see no problem achieving my goal weight by August. Could not have done it without this valuable source of accountability!!

Absolute disappointment. I pointed my lactose intolerance and chose dairy free foods but the meal plan includes dairy products that I excluded before from the list of foods I eat. What’s the reason to make a poll with so many questions and spend people’s time if it’s not personalized meal plan, rather just recipes from the internet. You can find a million these recipes in IG for free.

WALK AWAY. Don’t waste your time and money on this. Its says its free, wastes your time answering useless questions and wont let you even enter the app without paying them first! I normally don't write reviews, but this got my blood boiling so bad that I figured I would let everyone know how bad this is.

Helpful site. Helpful and informative app that helped me monitor and achieve my goals of returning my BMI to be under 25. No longer in the overweight category. Feel stronger, healthier and I have much more energy. In particular, what I liked and appreciated about this app is that when I had questions, the Chat team got back to me within hours with helpful information and guidance. The app was and is great. It certainly changed the way I eat and when and what I eat. Thank you to the team that designed the app!

This is worth a try. Nothing worth doing is easy, but the app is the next best thing. My first 17 pounds was easy. Our family got good and we all got sick so progress slowed for a short time. However, we are right back at it. I think the improved Heath from the 3 weeks leading up to Covid lessened the affects. The app tracks your daily intake and any exercise (comes to Apple fitness tracker) and give all kinds of food advice. You definitely need your own app to track. You cannot share with your spice as goals and output is different. Overall A+ experience and well worth the cost to improve your health. My first 17lb. Loss was over 22 days. Not bad.

Very helpful counting macros. Food scanner is not very accurate.. I really enjoyed using this my first week of keto since it was so strict. It helped me count every little thing that I put in. The only thing this Apple Watch is the food UPC scanner does not come up with the same net carbs that are advertised on the box. It also doesn’t have very many options as far as searching food. He really have to type in every little thing that you had. I paid for a year but I stopped using it. It was just too much to do. Also there are several recipes that are visible to other members and they are not accurate by any means. There’s no way to flag the recipe or report it, so if you use that one then you’ve miss counted your whole meal. Overall, it is a great app for getting into keto just know it takes a little time to log each meal or recipe.

High hopes dashed. I’ve got to say, I’m disappointed. The app is only useable if you sign up and pay for a subscription. There doesn’t appear to be any other way to test it. So, I paid the one month fee and cancelled it within the hour after I got to test it out. The app just doesn’t have a lot of brand goods in it and the ones it has are way off on the net carbs. One of my Slim Fast snacks says on the box ‘1 net carb’ but the app indicates it’s 4 net carbs. I experienced this multiple times. It’s just not worth it, in my opinion. I do love, however, the ease with which it connects to my Fitbit and my Peloton app. Without me logging anything, it shows what Peloton class I took and how many calories I burned. I found that to be a pleasant surprise compared to other apps. Overall, it’s just not worth it. Especially when there’s no free trial.

With a made up mine using Keto is successful. I started using Keto January 26, 2021 and I have lost 15 pounds. This is February 9, 2021. I eat my nuts and a full meal around 4/5 pm. When I feel hungry I eat wheat crackers, cheese and 8 oz of water. I take 1 shake a day with that shake I put in 1 medium banana and 3/4 cup of frozen fruit ( mango,berries and strawberry). I add 6/8 ounces of bottle water. This should fill up your New Chances New Dreams 2021 cup. I am determine this year to be more healthier along with a weight loss. I don’t do a lot of exercises. You still can loose weight. Have a made up mind to make sacrifices. I love sweets. I had to pray for God to deliver me from sweets. He did. Drinking Keto teas and shakes are easier. If we want to lose weight God will help us with a made up mind. We are on this journey together praying for each other.

Amazing App. At age 59, I officially started my keto lifestyle 18 days ago, on February 1, 2024. There is no doubt in my mind that I never could’ve succeeded with this without the app. It makes it so easy and full proof to stay on track. My wife is getting kind of tired of me scanning everything in the world, but I’ve always known that I needed someway to track not only my food portions, but what I eat. The app is so incredibly user-friendly and easy to use. I would highly recommend this app for anyone thinking about trying the keto lifestyle. It not only helps with what you eat and how much but gives great coaching as well, to keep you educated and understanding the reasons behind everything. A+ plus!!!!

Awareness. When I started the Keto diet several weeks ago I thought it would be fairly easy and I know what I should and should do- not the case. This app helps me in several ways; keeping track of carb, fat, calories and physical seeing what I thought was good for me vs what reality said. This app helps me structure, discipline and make me accountable on what I eat. There’s also explanations of what I may needs more of and what I’m doing good at - also includes coaching and recipes. I’m into my second week now and have lost 6 lbs. not going to lie, it was difficult at first but when I saw the reward (weight loss) I knew I was on the right track. I also have diabetes 2 and my levels have decreased by 10. Highly recommend!

Great help!. Since I began my Keto journey less than five months ago, I have lost 34 lbs. without feeling hungry. I have read about people who lose much faster, but at 75 years of age, I was elated at the end of four months to go shopping and discover that I had gone from size 16 pants to size 10! Unlike the general method of only counting calories, Keto takes off inches faster in all the right places. I no longer have the belly that made me wear shirts big enough to cover a 9 month pregnancy. Game Changer. I had a total thyroidectomy two and half years ago. In that time, I kept adding on pounds, thinking I was really watching what I was putting in my mouth… 23 pounds to be exact. I was so frustrated and hated the way I looked in my clothes. Nothing was helping, until I decided to give the Keto App a try, I was a bit skeptical, but OMG!!! I started three weeks ago and have already lost 7 pounds.I have so much energy and feel amazing! I still have a ways to go, but being able to lose it in such a short time is awesome. This Works. This app is a tremendous help to winning at weight loss. It takes a little bit to understand how the app works, but it can be used immediately. It just gets better the more you use it. I am learning a whole new way of cooking. I am 70 years old and spent most of my adult life trying to prepare gourmet food. I actually got fairly good at it. This app provided me with simple, quick, and few ingredients recipes that I am loving. Plus a grocery list! Did I mention, I’m loosing weight? I’m even entertaining using these recipes. It has given me more time out of the kitchen and on the pickleball court. And guess what, pickleball clothes fit better. Try it. So easy. You will love the barcode reader.

Life Changing by Greg T.. I started with intermittent fasting, but I really wanted to speed up my weight loss. So I started keto with the Keto Diet App. Talk about a game changer. 6 weeks of intermittent fasting and 34 weeks using the Keto Diet App. I have lost 27 lbs. The app is great because I can easily track my carb intake. It has great recipes, so the food I eat now is actually more flavorful than before. I had some minor health issues because of my weight and I am already seeing those disappearing. For me it’s not a diet. It is a life change. I tell myself every day. This is my life now. No turning back. I sent 50 yrs eating whatever I wanted. Now I’m going to spend the next 50 eating what I’m supposed to.

Great App for Beginners. This is my second day using the app. So far it’s been great and it’s very easy to use. If you can’t find a food item in search, all you have to do is scan the barcode of the item and it will automatically add the item to your day. I think that’s a very cool feature. Also, there a lot of great Keto friendly recipes available on the app. When you first sign up, you will be asked to enter your height, weight and age. Then the app automatically calculates the recommended macros for you based on what your goal is. I am so happy I found this app because when your first staring keto, it can be hard to calculate the macros in everything you eat. So I would definitely recommend this app if you are a beginner on keto like me!

So Far So Good. I am loving this app so far it makes keto much easier. My only complaint is the provoded recipes. I made the creamy keto pasta recipe because it showed 3 grams of carbs per serving (2 servings total, so 6g net carbs for the recipe). Instead of logging the recipe provided, i created my own and built the exact same recipe under the “my recipe” section. I was shocked that it showed 51 grams of carbs per serving. Even if i changed the recipe from 2 servings to 6 servings, it was still 17 grams of carbs per serving and it put me way over my daily limit. Ever since that happened ive checked a few other recipes and the net carbs appear way lower on the provided recipes than the customs recipes built the exact same way. Now when i make a recipe from the app i have to build it on my own to check it and its really time consuming.

Great but barcode scanner doesn't read smaller length barcodes. I have purchased this back to back years (not realizing there is a lifetime one time purchase option). I use this strictly for a macro and food tracking system. It's great for tracking calories and macros for food prep. I don't do Keto and the app gives warnings about "bad keto foods" but I disregard those. The database is preloaded with a lot of nutritional values for foods. You can also manually enter the information and save it for later. You can combine different foods into a "meal" which makes multi ingredient foods simple to track after the first time it's entered (think smoothies, lasagna, etc). The barcode scanner instantly updates all food label information which is extremely helpful... when it works. This is my only real complaint. The barcode scanner doesn't read lengths that are condensed. When you put the camera closer, it gets blurry. I have an iPhone 14 so it's not my phone. It only seems to read the "postage stamp sized" barcodes. It doesn't need a full barcode height, just a full sized width/length. I will update my rating to 5 stars if the develop team is interested in fixing the barcode issue (I think it needs an auto focusing feature to correct it).

This App makes learning and living a keto lifestyle simple.. I am in my mid-50s and have battled with my weight for the past 20 years. This app helps you to learn and understand the benefits of following a keto lifestyle. It is absolutely working for me! I track my intake and read the insights and I am watching the results. It isn’t easy at first, but after about a week the cravings stopped and the weight loss helped maintain my motivation. I had planned on stopping keto once I reached my target weight, but there have been so many benefits that now I think I might make a couple of small adjustments but will stay on this path. Many more benefits other than just losing the weight! Try it, and good luck!

Super supportive app!. This app is super supportive for someone wanting to do low-carb. From a helpful log for counting carbs, fat, calories, protein, to helpful “Insights” based on your food choices, and lots of articles to give you all the info you need to coach you on this diet. It’s awesome!! I originally bought some magnets for the fridge to tell me carbs, LOL 😂, this is SOOO much better, it tells me everything I need to know!! Never mind it’s a super value next to a set of magnets, books, etc. I could not have done this diet without this support tool, highly recommend! Oh, plus I’ve been losing 1 lb per day since I started, 🥳 6 so far! So happy to be doing something that works. Thanks!!!

Not Enough for a Paid App. I wish there was a trial period. I paid for a year of this app and it doesn’t have what I’m looking for when it comes to food options so I can count macros. There a lot of good articles and recipes but they don’t even offer the recipes they have as a choice to pick from when adding your food. I didn’t pay so I would have to enter all the number myself. When I added the numbers myself, the net carbs came out different than what the manufacturer of the product says. I really wish they had more keto items to pick from and more food information. Lastly, maybe I haven’t t figured it out but I would like to enter a previous days food items in the event I forgot something especially since I can’t always have my phone. UPDATE: The barcode scanning feature helps more than not but the app does not take into count the exercise you do per day

Why didn’t I do this sooner. I have been doing Keto (on and off) for about two years. I thought I had a good sense with regards to what I was doing but I also ran into some challenges of not really losing the weight the second and third time which caused a ton of frustration. I signed up for this app bc the price was reasonable and I absolutely love it. I am learning so much as many things I thought were keto friendlily really aren’t. This app helps me know where I am at for the day which mentally keeps me motivated on track. I also love that you can scan the food which really keeps it simple. The articles are also extremely helpful as I now know what alcohol drinks are keto friendly, etc. Buy this app! You will not regret abs better yet lose the weight.

Loving the Keto App!. I am 55 and have struggled with my weight for the past 25 years. I have tried nearly every program and plan out there. While I have been able to lose weight I always seem to rebound to an even higher weight. I have been massively frustrated and discouraged. Until now! What I love about the Keto app is that I can track my specific macros. The ones that are supporting a shift in lifestyle and are allowing me to lose the weight with little fear that it will return. The application covers most of what I need. The gaps are being addressed by their development team and it will only get better from here forward.

Run!. I got this app with high hopes of staying on track with Keto. The app was not my cup of tea. I didn’t like the way it was structured and never used it. They make it difficult to cancel the subscription on purpose. Where most apps you are able to cancel right there…for them you have to contact them directly. I got hit with the $70 renewal fee and immediately contacted them to cancel and get a refund. First they told me that my cancellation reason wasn’t valid so….no refund. When I complained that that was ridiculous since I literally never used the app they said their analytics showed I used the app 1 time…and therefore no refund. The “1 time” they are talking about was me trying to find out how to cancel my subscription. Save your money. There are definitely better apps out there that don’t take advantage of extra fees due to difficult cancellation procedures.

Really Liking the Keto App. It is easy to use and I like the reminders to log my weight and food, love that it’s connected to my activity tracker. Four things I would like to see added, some way for it to upload nutrition info from nutrition labels that are not in the system, the ability to subtract items from a menu item from a chain restaurant, example a double quarter pound with cheese and be able to take the bun off the calorie and micro count, and a list of ingredients assumed in some of the menu items like coleslaw. Lastly it would be great to see a graph of weight loss/gain from day to day. Not too much if hope. I am hooked this far three weeks in!!

Excellent App. This is truly an excellent app as you go through your KETO Journey. I’ve always had a problem logging my meals, but with this app it is so easy to track. I can use the scan bar, search by name or my favorite speak into the microphone. It also allows me to say what my intentions are to eat and if my choice exceeds my macros, I can make a different choice. This app also gives insights through articles and great recipes. There are so many great features with this app, including an opportunity to have a coach to assist you through the process (at an additional nominal cost). My coach is phenomenal. If you are looking for a change I highly recommend you try out this app.

Keto works. Doing intermittent fasting and keeping track of wheat I eat whole learning insights from keto diet app has been phenomenal in my journey. Since January 4th I've been doing keto, started with this app in March.... Have lost 30lbs officially since January. So proud and happy! Definitely worth the lifestyle change. And the great party is that everyday you learn something new. Thank you keto app.... The food finder is awesome.... Wish you could make tweaks to already recorded foods like in other food apps.... Like take a photo of your food and it recognizes what's in your plate and you just apply the amount and it will give you nutritional value... Etc..... There's room for improvement for sure... But I love the app in general... Thank you!!!!

Good app, missing 1 thing. I just got the app and so far it’s very user friendly. I love that it has an option to show you a meal plan for the week or you can just browse all the recipes and pick what you want. Logging food for the day is super easy, and checking where your at for the fats, carbs, etc is easy to understand. The only thing I think the app is missing is a customizable grocery list. I’d love to see if a recipe is saved an option to add the ingredients to a grocery list, and also just pick items from the grocery list that is currently there. As for the current grocery list I kind of have taken that to be more of a these are all acceptable foods that can be bought rather than a grocery list.

Great keto app!. The app is very easy to use. I wish the database had a bigger variety of local fast food places because let’s be honest we all have to eat there some days. The recipes seem pretty easy to prepare, but I have not tried to make one. The scanning option on the app is very helpful and if it is not in the database, you can add it which is very easy to do. I signed up for the three month deal for $25 and so far so good! I love the reminders to log through, but the biggest plus is the scanning of the barcode of whatever you are eating. I love when you scan something and it’ll tell you at the very top left corner whether it’s great on keto to eat something moderately or avoid it totally! That has been an eye-opener to foods that I was eating all the time that basically shouldn’t of been.

Wasn’t too sure. Now convinced. As a 66 year old woman who has added 15 labs over the last two years and COVID didn’t help I was starting to believe it was an “age thing”. But I just couldn’t accept it. Decided to try Keto after seeing the results of friends and reluctantly deciding I’d have to add some meat back into my diet. So I decided to try it. About 4 weeks in, I’m down 6 lbs. and finding it just what I needed. The app is terrific and the articles are encouraging. It really does work and I couldn’t have done without forcing myself into accountability for reporting and the help of the label scanning and some preplanning. Give it a try; you won’t regret it and the app will keep you honest with a helpful community of believers !!!

Latest app update is annoying. At least for me. I log my meals & I like how my daily steps transfer over to the app & convert to miles. There’s many helpful things on this app - recipes, coaching, etc. However, this latest app version is driving me nuts! I get reminders all day to log my weight, and to add breakfast, lunch, dinner. I only eat two meals daily, plus I do t see how the limitations allow for three meals unless they’re tiny. One day the alert was “Wakey, wakey, eggs & bakery “ or something like that. Why bakery? It’s not really allowed on Keto. I will log in my food ad it happens , not when I’m hounded to do so. I log my weight when I rise in the morning & since I’m retired, the times will vary. I think I’ll have to turn ‘notifications’ to off for this app. I feel pestered!

Get it. I love this APP, I was on weight watchers digital via the app prior to this and I honestly don’t plan on sticking to KETO for life but I needed a change in regards to dieting I wanted to try keto and it seems great but it was also overwhelming. This app makes keto simple plug in your info and it tells you the macros you need and you track your weight they also have recipes and articles about keto health and everything else I’ve already recommended it to 5 friends and family members who were interested in keto but didn’t know how to start I can’t say enough thanks to the creators of this app also technology wise I’ve never experienced any glitches or lag in the app at all.

Love keto. I’m a newbie. But I will be a lifer!! I have dieted with every plan. This one makes way more sense!! Everything I have ever leased from the other programs were so wrong, And I have been dieting for over 40 years. Keto makes me feel so much better I’m so many different ways. I’m full all the time! I don’t like bread, chips, sweets and so many other things I “thought” I couldn’t live with out!! I really wish I could afford the keto couch! I know I would have learned so much, so much faster!! Okay app. This app has a lot of positves, you can easily scan items and it has lots of recipes and daily brief educational articles. The ONLY downside to this app is that it doesn't calculate net carbs when you scan something that has sugar alcohols. That is the only frustrating thing I can find wrong with the app. I know some keto folks don't look at 'net' carbs and only go by true carbs but it would be nice to have the choice. Update: My bad. I found the net carbs option in the app settings that I did not have turned on. It still has some issues with not calculating carbs from sugar alcohols but I’m changing my rating to 5 stars.

Great for resources but not for Macro counting. I’m rating a 3 because of all the recipes and insight and I love the ease of viewing macros and tracking where I am throughout the day. As I continue to log foods, I notice the net carbs are not right. This is seen the most when scanning in barcodes, so I’m very skeptical about the fresh foods that I add through searching the catalog. I reached out to app support and they informed me that they calculate net carbs by subtracting ONLY fiber from the gross carbohydrates. They do not take into account the sugar alcohols. This to me is very strange for a top rated keto application. I will continue to use the application and just upload my own items with the net carbs following the correct calculation for my Keto plan. It’s a total bummer because one reason the app is used is for efficiency and accuracy, both are not there.

Very helpful app. I am not a newcomer to Keto, but I find the macro tracker to be very helpful to try to improve my adherence. I look at the articles and already knew most of what is in them, but I am occasionally surprised by a new nugget, like this one...that the fat that leaves the body is mostly lost through the breath! My one criticism is that the tracker adds more allowance to all my macros when I log activity. In my case, my net carb intake needs to be below 20 in order to stay in ketosis enough to burn body fat. Ideally, the extra calories need to come from fat and maybe a little more protein. All in all, a most useful app. I am down 7 lbs in less than 3 weeks, and I started from a low-carb maintenance diet so this loss is likely body fat.

Best app I ever purchased. I had no idea that this app would actually work , I gave it a try and I was at 222lb in a month I dropped down to 212LB. The only hard thing was taking the time to Long all my meals but hard work dedication is paying off due to this app. And one more thing don’t always believe products that say KETO on them they really not idk but this app calculates everything and when I scanned certain products I was eating before that said keto but they were to high in carbs and calories, I was doing it wrong the whole time, but thanks to this app Im reaching my goal and it actually tells you when you will reach your goal weight. 😁🤩

This app is A1 for beginners. Don’t get me wrong, I hate that it’s so expensive??? Like what makes you think people can afford this? BUT, and a big but. It’s very easy to use. It sets your weight, your goal weight. Even gives you a personal trainer to talk to if you’d like. It tells you exactly how many net carbs and calories (also the breakdown of what’s in the calories you should be eating) and is totally awesome to track everyday. You can record what you eat and keep track of your weight. There’s so much information on here for beginners or people who already know everything. Before downloading this app I literally knew nothing about keto and now I’m on day one! Wish me luck lol…. Updating in a month!

The Best. I jumped into this keto diet with zero knowledge of what I was doing. I googled for the best app to help and this one had the best reviews. I’ve been dieting for one month now and I’ve lost 24 lbs. The Keto diet app is a big credit to that. It keeps track of what you eat and where you are on fat% protein% calorie% and of course carbohydrate%. It will definitely keep you in check on what you can and shouldn’t eat. I love that it has a recipe guide that I use all the time. It even has a create your own meal for easier logging of what you eat. I can go on and on. But the fact is, that the keto diet app is definitely your go to if you are doing the keto diet

Such a great app!!. The Keto Diet App has been very instrumental in my success so far! Logging my food, calculating my macros and tracking my weight loss has never been so easy! Bonus is, every time I have a question or just need some extra coaching, there’s a team of Keto supporters there to answer y questions!! I’ve learned so much from the “insights” that I know will help me in making keto a lifetime way of life. I’ve also tried different recipes and enjoy cooking again. Portion control and realizing how much I was eating has been an eye opener too! The app helps to keep me accountable of my portions! Type 2 Diabetes and Keto lifestyle. I started my Keto journey almost a month ago and so far it’s working well for my type 2. I’m over 81% in range on my blood glucose, which is very good for me. I no longer taking the short acting insulin. Still working on getting my fasting glucose levels down. It takes discipline, patience, and time, but it’s worth it and doable. Exercise is very important, I feel so much better now. I feel that I have less inflammation, I eat less dairy products though and high in good fats (avocado oil, coconut oil, olive oil). The only thing I have issue with is that I lose my items I eat regularly because it stores only 50 line items under “recent” column.

Regret. I posted a 1 star review yesterday and it’s gone?? I purchase this app yesterday and was highly disappointed, waste of $20. I was hoping for something that would make my life easier, not harder…logging food is not intuitive and I’m not recreating the wheel to log all of my food. It’s easier for my to calculate my net carbs in my head with another app than to log each one of my foods from scratch. Besides this app and some of its ‘motivational’ components can come off as a form of shaming someone who may be struggling FYI…some may do well with that but many won’t who are really looking for a long term solution. As someone who’s worked in the field for years I do have some insight. Maybe have an option to turn that off for those that that’d de-motivate. As for me, it’s a matter of your food library…I don’t have time to log each food from scratch.

No way to edit for allergens. FIRST: this app needs a free trial so you can see what it’s like. SECOND: the opening questions that try to bate you into buying it by “calculating your plan” and claiming you’ll lose 20 lbs in 2 months with their plan—are MISLEADING. It asked lots of questions about diet preferences, allergens, and foods you’d like to avoid—I cannot eat dairy, eggs, or beef—and yet when I paid for the app, my plan CONTAINS THOSE FOODS AND THERE’S NO WAY TO EDIT IT! What is the point of asking about my dietary preferences and restrictions if you are STILL going to include those in my plan? THIRD: my plan contains lots of weird ingredients that I would never eat: like saffron, fish skin “chips,” mussels, tuna (contains too much mercury) etc, etc! FOURTH: I do intermittent fasting and there’s no way to edit that! It’s set to 3 meals a day plus a snack. I wasted my money on this app. Avoid. It’s not well thought out at all. Why is there no way to edit these preferences? Why is there no way to search for recipes and filter out allergens? Come on!

Keto diet app. I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes my doctor told me to do a Keto diet too lose some weight that it would be a good diet for my condition a long with oral medication. So I down load this app so far so good in 3 weeks I lost 15 pounds and my blood sugar is under control which according to my doctor is amazing for that shot of a time I still need to lose more weight and it’s working it’s easy to use and you can scan in the foods you eat if you can’t find it on the app this feature works great and theirs more foods being sold every day for this diet so that’s a plus very happy with it and would recommend all that want or need to lose some weight give it a try you got nothing to lose but weight

Look No further 🤗. Hey Fellow Keto Tribe! Simply stated, this is the only app one needs to begin tracking your amazing new beginning Keto lifestyle. Reason(s) are: once you take the time to become initially familiar with the app (your learning curve), you can quickly and efficiently input your foods, 2) voice command is hands down the best I used thus far, 3) user friendly visual for viewing remaining macros and calories, 4) simple input of own recipes or foods, and 5) simple select and input of any previous foods. Cons: I) how in the heck do I remove the scanner, microphone, and keyboard from the screen. Why? Well sometimes I just want to take a screenshot of my progress to share with a friend. 2) would love 💕 a feature to forward or to scroll down with the input features blocking my visual, 3) graph to track progression of weight and water, 4) visibility of information is to light and font size needs to be bolder in color definition and just a tad larger. It views like a printer that’s almost out of ink, so to speak. Otherwise, I am most humble and graciously impressed and blessed to have found this app for no charge. Finally, I do realize so add-ons are absolutely not feasible for various reasons. So overall, it is a really beneficial app to pursue one’s decision of obtaining a healthier lifestyle.

28 days. My husband and I began keto diet on August 3, 2020. We followed the menu the first week. He lost a couple pounds and so did I. Week 2 we followed the plan but switched up the foods with what we liked. Lost a few more pounds. 3rd week...we were on a roll. Getting on that scale in the morning was really an eye opener as we both lost weight again. By the last week he had lost 12 pounds and I lost 14!!! We ventured off slightly to go on a camping trip but are back home only gaining back a pound or two. We’re going back on tomorrow morning!!! We miss potatoes and he misses sugar but all in all we feel better and even managed to get on our bikes while camping. We’re both in our 60’s.

Nice app. App is fairly easy to use. The daily insights are great and I have used the support chat which was very helpful. My only small criticism is on the food list. It does a great job of reading the bar codes of the products but if you try to type in the same brand name it doesn’t pull up the product. You have to have the barcode to get the exact product info. I use bar codes as much as possible but as an example i can scan in Boars Head salami but if I try to type in Boars Head salami it won’t pull up the same product. Other then that it’s a great app and has made doing Keto pretty easy. Also would love to see a restaurant tab to help with eating out that maybe lists specific restaurants and what we can eat there from their menu.

Not worth the price. I have had this for 5 days. It’s so frustrating!! I cannot build recipes, with the nutritional information being automatically calculated. I have to manually input every ingrediant. I have been messaging back and forth with the chat, but it is taking over 24 hrs to get a response, so at this rate it will take a month to figure out why the database doesn’t contain things like bacon or eggs. I was told if it doesn’t automatically figure out the ingredients nutritional information, then it’s not in their database. I was told that after I sent a SS showing that BACON was not autofilling🤦🏻‍♀️ The support is just not there, because you can’t figure out a problem if a question or response takes 24-48 hours. The slow pace at which my issue is being dealt with is maddening. The extra cost for this app is not worth it! The cost is higher than others that do the same things and even more. I will not renew next month

First time Keto? You need this!. I had done a lot of research prior to starting Keto eating for weight loss. I’ve been using this app for a month. If I had not joined I definitely would not be doing as well as I have been. In 4 weeks I’ve lost 6 pounds. I log every single thing I eat, including my Velamint gum. The tips, the recipes, the ability to chat with a counselor, are all crucial to success with this diet. This app is constantly giving updates to your progress, it’s VERY easy to use, guides you with everything. I know so much more now than I even did when I started because of using this app. And I’m a 60 year old woman. I did not like WW because I felt sooo hungry and deprived. I suffer no hunger or temptation any longer.

The best solution to understanding Keto!. I am a fitness veteran and got into the quarantine rut and the the holiday eating camera along, then went and the weight stayed 😔. I wanted to try the Keto Diet and just did not understand it. I found the Keto Diet App and just made it so simple for me!! Food shopping I could scan the barcode and get a green , yellow or the RED light on what to consume or just stay away from. I shared this app with three family members and we are all doing it together. I’ve dropped 9lbs and on my workout routine 😀. I feel great lost the bloated feeling and so glad the support this app gives you with consultants you can text! My advice start today to see a better tomorrow😍

This toolMade the difference. I made the decision to move to a ketogenic lifestyle 9 months ago and this app has really made the difference for me. I’ve lost 40 pounds to date -and it’s been a great experience. The ap helps me with accountability (notifications when it’s time to log something), insights (advise) coaches to answer literally any question I’ve asked (I’ve asked a lot!) and recipes. The most important is the graph though-I can keep tack where I’m at for my macros every minute of the day. I can quickly adjust if I start to go off track. It’s very simple to log the food -the ap does the rest. I tried a few other apps first-this one is 100x’s better. Worth every penny. I’d hesitate to recommend trying keto without this app-I think it would be frustrating. I love it!!

If this app was good they would allow at least a 1-2 day trial. for an app thats supposed to help with long term health and weight loss results the idea is that if it works you will keep it long term if its helping you - then why not offer a limited access 1-2 day trial so I can actually see what im paying for - but no they entice you by telling you youll be at your goal weight in a couple months then ask you to pay for a subscription and then after you buy the subscription they want you to also buy keto books as a separate charge!!! cant believe i fell for it however i can at least warn the next person you dont need to pay for what they are offering: a carb/meal tracker, some articles you can get anywhere for free, and a few quizzes lol what a joke im going to dispute my charge i only had it for about 30 mins before i realized what they got me for

Great App to Help You on your Keto Journey. This app has really helped keep track of daily carbs, fats, proteins and calories as well as weight. I really like the ability to scan bar codes to find food. I enjoy the recipes and supportive articles. I would like to see a few enhancements such as ability to graph weight. Adjust the scanned net carb calculation to exclude alcohol sugars (which would allow you to use the scan products versus creating a food to calculate the true net carbs). It would be great if you could add a partner to your account so you could track your spouse on one account. All in all, I find this app very helpful as I embark on my Keto journey. I definitely recommend it to anyone starting the Keto lifestyle!

Excellent App. When I downloaded the app I did not think I would like it or even use it, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to use and the informational material was very educational. There was excellent reading about keto with many helpful hints and many good recipes. There was a lot of facts about the macros of different foods and how they affect the keto nutritional system. All very helpful. I would highly recommend this app. There is a lot more in the app than you would expect. The only negative was that there is not all the foods that I wanted to add to my daily macro intake and finding exactly what I wanted to list or add was difficult because the app did not recognize my entry for what I wanted to post to be counted.( specific foods and amounts)

First time Keto user. I’m giving this app a 3 star since it’s fairly new and the 3 day free trial didn’t work for me and I couldn’t get a refund via Apple store. It stated I needed to talk to developers and was told only could get a refund via App Store. So I figured I’d give it ago since I’m $40 in for a year. The voice recognition still needs improvement, I say a specific brand (I.e Jimmy Dean Italian Sausage 2 oz) of food with the amount consumed and it doesn’t pull up appropriately. I also cannot find it by searching via typing either. I’m only seeing real success when I scan the product then the results come up accurate. I also am not a fan of the limited details of nutritional facts when I create my own meal. I’d love to see something for fiber and sugar/sugar alcohols as optional adds. I do love that it counts net carbs vs total! Win in that department. Thanks
