The Best. This was an incredible experience to use an see what speeds ,distance , average all my clubs were , this should be at every practice range world wide !

Fantastic experience. Love this app and game. This brings a whole new dimension to time spent at the driving range. I highly recommend it. Careful though, it’s addictive!

App needs a lot more work. The app is random, needs redesign. No visual clues, stuff is in the wrong place, you just have to keep clicking to find your info.

Chris Cote’s Southington. Our league play got rained out, wife and I headed to Chris Cotes, Southington. Finally able to start dialing in distances for my wife’s shots, really enjoyed the experience, definitely coming back.

Crashes while opening, unusable!. Was great for about a year but now after update the app won't open. Crashes while trying to open. Tried deleting & reinstalling but continued to get same result, crash & burn. No point for me to go to any of their ranges if app won't work, not for the price they charge at said ranges. Was barely worth it when I could go home with my data.

Misses too many shots. It's super cool and helpful when it works. I drove out of my way to visit a range with TopTracer only to be disappointed that I spent most of my time messing with the app. I'm adding one more star than planned because a staffer just happened to stop at my bay and told me it's only an issue at night. They don't have any trouble during the day, but the cameras just don't pick up the ball as well at night. I suggested a sign to let folks know, and the staffer agreed. * Bonus: he just gave me an extra 30 or so balls to make up for the trouble. Nice touch!

Download stays to Excel. It would be great if there was a way to download the stats to XL. That’s the one enhancement that would be very useful for me. Otherwise, the technology is fantastic and the entertainment value is tremendous. This tool makes practice so much more fun.

Garbage. I knew I was in for disappointment when the Home Screen had writing that was cut off and things written over each other. Couldn’t enter an email to create an account. App just freezes up. Even tried deleting and reinstalling. Worthless.

Like the app, but…... I really like the app, but I wish it could provide data from virtual golf rounds. I would love to see the scorecard after the round was over. Also I’d like to see spin data at the range.

Great tool. I love working with Top Tracer! Just getting back to game after 4 years of health issues so see flight and distances of each club a real help!

It’s worth it. I have never rated 1 app in 10 years... but if you like golf go to one of these ranges

Cannot log in. App locks once I input my email address. I cannot move the cursor and the keyboard does not accept any inputs after I type the URL section of the email. Seems to work on an iPhone 13 Pro, but not on my standard iPhone 13. Uninstalling/reinstalling the app doesn’t fix it.

Useful but not ideal.. My local golf dome, #BraemarGolfDome, installed #TopTracer (TT) system 3 years ago. The place was busy before but now it is jammed, understandably as seeing actual ball flight for 60 yards does add to senses and experience. That stated I only use TT to login to the system, and to look at direction of intended flight; straight, draw, and fade. As #BraemarDome uses range balls I believe the #TopTracer distances are off by 0 - 15 yards for wedges and irons and 15 - 25 yards for woods. As #TopTracer system doesn’t adjust distance readings based on the type of ball in use, I suspect all other readings (height, spin, etc.) are off too. Too bad. This, ball-type setting adjustment seems like an easy fix.

A must use. Every course needs one.

Has potential, frustrating mobile experience. The app doesn’t have nearly as much insight when looking back at your practice sessions as you do at the range. It would be really helpful if I could see a better map of my shot breakdown than what is provided, similar to the one you see when you’re at the range. Also, my practice sessions can’t be viewed until hours after my session for some reason? This should be available as soon as I end my session. It doesn’t make sense to me that there is no web application. I should be able to login to my account and see my practice details in a web browser.

My personal Jarvis for my golf swing. I absolutely love how I can know exactly how far and consistent (or in my case, how inconsistent) I hit with each club. Seriously, this is a game changer for my driving range effectiveness. SO worth the extra cost, which is reasonable.

Pwasz56. Finally someone has figured out how to make a driving range interactive so you can actually see what you are doing wrong and how to fix it. Forever you would always say I’m killing it on the driving range, when you get on the tee box of a fairway you can’t understand what went wrong. Now Toptracer

Works great, when it works. I’ve visited Falconhead Golf Course now three times and have used toptracer all three times only to be disappointed. Only one of my sessions saved so two large buckets ($32) of data gone. Hopefully the kinks will be worked out soon.

Can’t use. Like others it won’t even let me sign up for an account. Password creation page won’t remove keyboard once entered so that you can click the privacy policy box. And no website signup. Amazing that this would happen with an established app. I’m out.

So Disappointing. The technology is good and it’s fun to use but if you do anything outside of the “My Practice” portion of the app, you will never have any recorded information about the shots that were traced. For instance, if you play a full round of golf on a virtual course and you make a good shot, you better get your phone out and take a picture because they record nothing of the round except the date and score. They should take notes from the TrackMan courses where all of that data is available within minutes of finishing your round, and you get an ariel overview of the course, pin points of where your shot landed & shot data for every stroke. Time to step it up.

Interface to review data is cumbersome. How does one “register” a club in the app? The screens at the range say it can be done, but it’s not evident in the app how to go about this. It’s an example of poor execution/integration, but it has potential. Maybe you should have a UX designer(s) flowing requirements to the engineers instead of having engineers winging it and trying their hands at design? I know it costs, but invest in your own product! This should be better than a middle school class project! I’m disgruntled my range went to this and then upped the charges. It’s fun, but poorly executed. Could be SOOOO much better….

Keeps closing???. I am trying to rename my clubs. Every time I try to change screen the app closes. I enjoy the use of the app at range but this is frustrating.

Won’t event let set up account. It won’t event let me set up account, when setting up the account within the APP the keyboard covers the second password so you can’t confirm it or accept terms. Went to website to see if I could bypass APP to setup account that way, no go. I’m done.

Good but not great. Overall pretty good. My only real complaint so far is virtual golf, in stats you only see date and score. No way to see the score card.

Top Tracer Range System. This system is great for practice as you can see your actual “carry” and “total “ distances.

Freeze & crash creating login. iPhone 12 Pro, latest OS. Tried deleting and reinstalling, restarting the phone. Nothing worked. Freezes after entering email address in either the “create account” page or login page. Then shuts down.

Amazing. This makes range time so much better. At least a million percent better. Besides just being a blast, the practice mode averaging out your club carries is remarkably helpful.

Really cool...export data feature needed for 5 stars. This is a GREAT app. Cameras at my range may need to be calibrated better for high loft clubs as it will occasionally miss a SW or PW. Nice for tracking. All the data is there. However, having a way to track overall development would make this a 5+ star app. Even providing a way to export raw data to a spreadsheet would be nice. Right now, I need to hand transfer everything from the app to Excel. Still a great app, but this improvement of data export would be greatly beneficial.

New user. Love the app easy to use. Wish I could just add friends and see their stats (if shared) or challenge them from a different lane.

Great tool. This is the greatest tool to help with my game. I’m hooked on using it. Finally I know which clubs I can hit for which distance. So far have only used My Practice session but have been able to show my coach results

Is it me?. Every time I’m on the app with my phone and checking stats, I click back to the next club, and the app crashes. So frustrating.

The app doesn’t work. The new privacy policy doesn’t allow me to access my personal history! It’s broken folks! And because it’s broken, I won’t be using any Top Tracer facilities in the immediate future.

Needs a senior men’s category. Why not have a senior category on the leaderboard! It has birth year in the profile so would be easy to accomplish. Clearly age has a negative on driving distance so why not? Come on Toptracer give us seniors our own category so we don’t have to compete against all the flatbellies!

1 Problem. The app is so good but there is one problem that I have. The problem that I am having is that when I am playing a course and I have to chip into the circle for birdie or par I would like for it to roll out and not have it mark it at the carry distance. My score would look a lot better if you guys could change that. But all in all the app and everything else is outstanding.

Great Experience. Tried for the first time today and loved it. Only issue is that it seems to shorten my hits by 10-20 yards from what I am used to hitting. May be me, May be the range balls, May be something else

Excellent option!. This is a great outing and you can load players in the system to play a virtual game. Takes about 2.5 hours for 2 players verses the usual 4 hours. That also included warmup and practice. One large bucket of balls is $30 verses $100 for an outing. Nothing beats the real feel of golfing, but this definitely is a great substitute. I like the range feedback for consistency by club as well; I have been unable to find that in the app later.

Can’t get logged in. It says my email is already in use, but when I try to log in or change the password, it says user not found. It then says we can help but when I enter my email it says not found! Totally frustrated! Brian

Superb. Best thing ever for my game. What’s in my bag made me realize I needed to work on 4 iron and 6 iron and driver and 3 wood carry only. Process of elimination. Playing a course is simply a Blast as well.

Language problem. I have deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times in the last month because the display suddenly appeared with Asian characters instead of the english alphabet. I have not been able get back to writing I can read.

Great in bays, doesn’t work without. Covered bays w/cameras pick up almost every shot. Process is cumbersome and bug filled if you aren’t in one of the bays. Need a better mobile offering!

Shot History. Unable to delete historical data. Also, unable to view history by club. It would be cool to be able to download data from each session to a spreadsheet to chart progress. Without this, its meaningless unaccessible junk

Please let us have 3 letters or less in our name. My name is less than the 5 letters requirement and it’s frustrating. Also, this doesn’t allow spaces in names so I can’t put my last name without combining my first and last name together into one name. Please fix because the app has been great. Thank you.

Privacy policy. Ever since the privacy policy update a couple weeks ago, the app is unusable. The continue button on the privacy policy page is off the iPhone screen and unable to scroll. Poor design. I love the app, when I can use it.

Good stuff just need to adjust dates or reset stats. Really nice to have the Toptracer at my range. So helpful. The only thing would be a way to turn off or delete old sessions. As you improve you may want old data to go away so you can focus on your current form without old data skewing the numbers.

Great idea but.... I’d say the tracker picks up about 10% of my swings. It’s annoying when you hit a ball and look at the screen to realize it has not picked up your swing or ball. I’ve tried multiple bays and am hitting by the tee. Not sure if the hardware at the range is not properly set up or it’s the software...

Deleting sessions. I can’t see how to delete a session as old dates relate to previous set of clubs and shouldn’t be inclUded in current calculations

Cannot complete sign up iphone 11Pro. Seems great but I can’t complete sign up with my iphone 11 pro.

Flawless. My local range just installed launch monitors and this app worked flawlessly and intuitively the first time. Got a fantastic profile of all my clubs after one range session.

Too many updates. Too many times I get to the range where there is poor cell services and the app needs an update. Ball normalization over estimates

Could be better. The tracer tech isn’t very accurate it only picks up half the shots. With the app it doesn’t record any scorecards from games you have played and only records stats from “mypractice”. This has the potential to be a good system but there a lot of things that need to be worked out.

Great potential but missing important options. A Local Range installed this equipment and I’ve been out a few times to try it out. Mostly, I go to the range to try to work on skills or work out challenges that I’m experiencing. And this app has so much potential in that it offers the average consumer, the opportunity to use launch monitor data that they otherwise might not have access to. BUT , for some inexplicable reason, while you can see your individual shot data after the fact, there is no way to export it. I would love to be able to import this shot data into the Caddy app. I have on my phone for when I play rounds to help focus my distance recommendations. Searches reveal numerous users, requesting this option for the past 2+ years. This seems like doing a great job of running the marathon of designing the hardware, designing the range software, and the mobile app software only to stumble just before the finish line. To be fair to the app, it does offer opportunities of playing games while out of range that, for the frequent range user might offer an interesting change from tedious practice. However, for me, my time at the range is practice. If I’m going out for enjoyment, then that will be on the course.

Doesn’t work on iPhone 12 Mini. Was excited to use this app with my local range. Unfortunately, the app will not let me create an account on my iPhone 12 mini, it just freezes and then closes when trying to create account.

Doesn’t work. It’s been several months since I downloaded the app. It has never worked! I get an error message that shows a banana peal and says there is an error and they are working on it. It shows a 3 letter error code. I’ve emailed top tracer and got the auto reply that said they’d contact me within the next day. Never heard back. Had the course where I play contact them and they said they didn’t know what the error meant. End of story. App doesn’t work and tech support doesn’t. Useless app.

Toptracer rocks. Gives me good insight with each club which helps drastically on the course.

Sign up. The keyboard on an iPhone X hides password confirmation line as well as terms acceptance box with no way to force keyboard retreat. Seriously?

Toptracer is Amazing. This thing traces your ball just like you see on tv. VERY easy to setup and use. I was up and running in a few minutes and I’m no iPhone wiz kid. Accuracy and distance measurements are excellent. Overall AMAZING!!! Loved it!

Great idea. Flawed execution.. It’s really cool to be able to see immediate feedback on shots and it’s definitely a helpful practice aid. It’s certainly made me like going to the range more. However, the last few months something has changed for the worse on the four game modes. More shots are missed by the tracker. It seems to get stuck toward the end of a bucket and 10-20 balls will go untracked. The only game that seems to work consistently and correctly is “closest to pin.” Yardages on “long drive” seem wildly inconsistent with reality — I hit a few drives the other night with 180+ mph ball speed. The tracker showed them traveling 220-240 yds. These would be easily 300+ yard drives on a course. It seems like the system does not account for reduced flight range balls? “Points game” seems completely random and arbitrary. It would make sense if you had to select one particular target, but as it is now, you can miss the target you’re aiming at by 40 yards and still earn points if it happens to land near a completely different target. I’m still not sure how the multipliers work. Sometimes they multiply my score; sometimes not. “Virtual golf” is fun but suffers from the above-mentioned bug where shots start to be missed. It’s frustrating to get through 14 holes and the system just stops working. I’ve had this happen on my last two “rounds.”
