App Doesn’t Work. You end up in an endless loop of not being able to login, not being able to verify your email and not being able to reset your password. Ninja has nice products. Tech obviously is lacking.

Best thing for apartment life. As someone who loves to grill, smoke, chill and have that experience as a whole privately, this is the best bang for your buck when it comes to looking for that home-style, country smoking experience and flavor that everyone enjoys so much. Would highly recommend this to all of my friends and family and also anyone who lives in an apartment with a balcony that wants to enjoy the thrill of the grill and smoke without violating “open flame” codes. 10/10

App. I followed the directions and cannot log into app. Cannot change password. Very frustrating. Would like to be able to get some help with this problem.

Great product!!. Wish I had one long ago. Have used it twice and both times have been perfect.

Cook mode directions. What happened to the cook mode directions for roast and bake? The app will not allow me to select those options for cooking time and temp directions. Was going to cook a pork shoulder and the option is no longer available. Please fix.

$450 grill with a broken App. Still after a month of trying I am still unable to login with my password. Why do I even need an account to cook and setup the grill with my phone. Forget this!

Okay so far. Took many attempts to connect to WiFi. Once I did the app seems useful. Time will tell

Updated review. After initial problems setting up the app, I was able to create an account and connect to the grill. The app gives you total control of the grill after you turn on the power. I love the grill, and the app is a great asset.

App connection. I can connect my iPhone to my Ninja woodfire grill via Bluetooth, but it also requires a WiFi connection. I only use cellular data on my iPhone and iPad to connect to the internet, and won’t have or need home WiFi. The app should allow Bluetooth only connection. I plan to take this camping where I wouldn’t have a WiFi network to connect to. There should be a way way to connect vis Bluetooth only

Best all around smoker (especially RVing). I can make the exact same things and more with this sucker while traveling or at home. If I don’t want to fool with going through the process of smoking a huge meal I can smoke a small meal on this thing and just monitor my temps and time from my phone. I use this almost daily for cooking while traveling in the RV with my family and they love it.

Best products. Everything in my indoor and outdoor kitchen is all Ninja..with the exception of my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. All of the Ninja products are amazing and I look forward to new products as they come!

Cannot login using voiceover. Got the scroll and tried to set it up yesterday. Cannot login! It keeps saying my password and email combination are incorrect. It does not allow me to reset a password. I have seen this issue on ratings before but thought it was a result. I use voice. this bug needs to get fixed.

Love Ninja. The grill is just perfect for the back porch and it is easier for traveling with. It gives a really rich smoky flavor and you can turn on and off the smoke that enhances it. All the products I have bought through Manchester and lives up to its reputation.

I can make excellent BBQ. I love a good BBQ. I grill and offset smoke with wood. Somewhat labor intensive and I’m not getting any younger. This Ninja Woodfire Pro XL is awesome, I can monitor and adjust it from my living room chair. I am amazed how perfect my meats have been, juicy, tender and tasty… and so easy and convenient. 5 stars!

Just trying to get you to purchase the newest model. I purchased my grill about a year ago and went for the most upgraded model at the time, before the Bluetooth was added. This app requires you to connect to the Bluetooth grill before allowing you into the app. Since I don’t have this, I can’t access the cooking guides and info that would be nice even though I can’t connect the grill and phone together. Please allow us with older grills to access the information and cooking guides

Can’t log in to the app. Trying to set up My new grill with the app and no matter what I do I keep getting an invalid email password error message. Deleted the app and reinstalled multiple times. Tried reset password but I never get the reset email. I do have a Ninja account that works for shopping on my computer. I tried whole new account for the app with a different email and the same thing happens.

Won’t connect without WiFi. This is a terrible app that requires you to connect to Bluetooth and WiFi for it to work that makes this a total useless cooking utensil!!!!!

Amazing!. Simply Amazing. Period. Amazing! The wifi/bluetooth tech is….are you kidding me that a “grill” has this….??? Is again Amazing! I have been using timers and my iPhone for years on my conventional gas/charcoal/smoker rigs. Our microwaves and convection ovens have had this feature for decades now right! This integration of technology has really set the bar higher for newbies or pros for the ease of use and incredible results. Can’t login to App. I have an account on my laptop to the website but, the app on my phone can’t connect it rejects my password. When I try to reset my password by sending me an email, the email never arrives. So, I can’t login to the app on my phone, so can’t use the app to connect to the grill. Would be great not to have to login to an account to Bluetooth connect with the grill. At least until this issue is resolved, looks like from the dates on other reviews it’s been going on for over two weeks.

The Unit is AWESOME. Well worth the money!! I’ve done so much with this! Exactly what I’ve been looking for!!

Can’t login to app. I have an account to the website but the app on my phone says my account password is invalid. I have tried to reset the password but was unsuccessful. So I cannot login and connect to my pro xl

Cannot Login to the App. I am unable to login to the app with my existing Ninja login. I can login using a computer. I reset the password but am still unable to login. I called the support desk and they put me hold before I finished explaining the problem. About a minute later they hung up. I then chatted with the support center which gave me about 10 minutes of lip service and said for me to access the online help. The online help does not help resolve a login issue. So far the Woodfire Grill doesn’t do half of what I bought it for, mobile connection. Not at all happy. I will give it 24 hours to remedy itself (the login) and if no joy then I may just have them send me a return shipping label. Grrr.

App will not open. When I first downloaded the app, it worked fine. After having issues logging in to my account on the Ninja website so that I could purchase accessories, etc. and getting help to fix that issue, I can no longer log in to the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I get a message that the email/password combination is invalid. I tried to reset the password but it won’t send the email to reset it on the app. This grill was way too expensive not to work like it’s supposed to work.

Not option to prevent screen from turning off. I like the app but it desperately needs option to prevent screen from locking while cooking is on.

I cannot get the thermometers to work. The smoker seems to work fine. It does meet by the charts that Jacob set up for baby back ribs, and other things she said it and it worked fine. But the only problem is when you go to use thermometer to cook with it just doesn’t seem to work they need to do some software updates and changes to make this efficient.

AMAZING. Used it for the first time today and the steaks are INCREDIBLE. The app makes it super easy! I’m a fan.

Best grill ever!!!. I purchased this after recently moving to Florida. My neighbor suggested it and it was the best suggestion ever. While I love my old charcoal grill, this Ninja grill takes the cake. It literally takes me a few minutes to cook my food and the food is really delicious. Tonight I cooked two full Snapper’s and they are amazing. Cooking is fast, clean up is fast, and I am not outside sweating trying to cook my food. I have to mention how cool it is to preheat, set, and be guided by the grill as well as the app on my phone. I am loving every bit of this. Awesome product!

Wifi. App do not let to bypass wifi connection. I do have wifi but it shows mistake to connect all the time. Ok, can i skip it - no, you have to have wifi to use the app?

Ninja XL smoker grill. Well, I have used it twice. Fantastic you almost can’t ruin anything I really like the smoke feature better than Traeger I just gave my Traeger to my neighbor thanks again ninja for the recommendations on your infomercials. Love it.

Makes Cooking a Breeze. No matter what you choose to cook the Ninja Pro Connect makes it a Breeze I use the app and use the cooking charts and it is so easy for someone like me who wants quick and simple

Can’t get in. App tells me I have an account (I do have a login to the website) but it rejects my password. When I ask for a reset to be sent to my email address, the email never comes (yes I checked my spam folder).

Lacking in features. The app should let the user save their own presets. The included charts are worthless and I have to set the same settings manually every time I use the app.

Not family friendly. There are 3 family members that all cook at different time and different varieties of foods. Each time one is finished, the next one have to keep logging in to make grill app usable. We use wifi and Bluetooth so it should be possible to go on our phone and not have to enter and connect to wifi/bluetooth and sign in everytime. All our LG ThinQ appliances are able to do this. Other than that grill is great

First use and I’m thrilled!. Made big ribeyes and veggie skewers. Cooked just as good as my propane grill only way easier. Nice to not have to worry about the marinades setting off the flames and getting an uneven cook. Can’t wait to explore this grill more.

Best Bang for the buck.. I am a novice grill master. My cooking skills can be considered survival skills, not cuisine cooking. HOWEVER!!! Since purchasing I have smoked the perfect 11 hr brisket and some smoked chuck burnt ends. Both perfectly seasoned and butter soft. I’ve cooked dinner now 6 times (mostly steaks) and now my kids want me to cook all the time. I’m short, it is a seamless and worry free product that will keep track of ur cooking and even let I know when to flip. I love it.

Works fine. Paired with my iPhone, the app works well. Easy to use. Learning still all its capabilities.

Amazing app only needs one thing. I love this app. Easy to read and setup a variety of cooks on my wood fire grill. The only item I’d like to see is the option for a graph of the current cook showing time and temp. This helps plan better to see how fast temp is rising visually over time rather than just seeing the number.

Can’t login to app - can log into website. What the title says. Can’t log into the app at all - says account combination incorrect. Logging into the website with same credentials has no issue. Seeing other reviews saying same thing. Useless app at this point and can’t use my grill fully.

Wi-Fi issues. Amazing grill but I changed my Wi-Fi network and now can’t connect to another network

WiFi Connection. UPDATE: I finally found a fix. Had to use guest network, change the name of the network to something different from main, and drop any special characters in password. Original: I have tried everything possible, contacted ninja, my internet provider, and done everything I could with my router and cannot get the grill to connect via WiFi in the app.

Complicated. Bluetooth version not compatible with my iPhone but we worked around it. Excellent results !! Love the smoke.

Ninja pro is amazing. This grill is so versatile with many functions. From low and slow to fast all with smoke. Easy to use and a quick clean up.

Unable to load into iphone16. Will not you pass beyond choosing county. Asks to change password and freezes

No search. There’s so search for charts and it would be cool if Smoker masters gave recipes

Great Smoker. Great Smoker but find their automatic settings too strong, if it says medium maybe take it back in temperature a bit. In our opinions meat tends to dry out on grill settings too much. Just learning right now but really like the grill, a learning curve!

No login. It doesn’t know my username and password. Send email does not work. By tomorrow I’m sending the unit back to Amazon

John Robinson. We just got our Ninja XL Pro Connect Grill and absolutely are loving it. The APP is awesome and so easy to use and I am no Techie. The Grilling is just as good as any propane grill. So happy with our purchase!

App does not work without wifi. Bought the ninja wood fire xl for cottage. App does not let me setup without wifi. I can pair Bluetooth but we do not have wifi. So app is useless.

Crashed before I can complete the setup. Hi folks the app keeps crashing when I try to complete the setup. I am on the latest version of iOS as of May 26 2024 (17.5.1) and the latest version of the app. I’ve tried another device which rules out a device specific issue. Brilliant, but. A great app but missing the inclusion of global-norm Centigrade temperatures. Fahrenheit is a minority sport these days!

Just another 5 star review. Ok, So… First, I’m a complete sucker for a good infomercial. I own it, drives my wife nuts. But if the infomercial is filmed right, I’m done! Cuz then I’ll research the pants off it. & when vast majority of reviews were top rated, how could I go wrong. I’ve been using it for almost a week now and it’s just beautiful. I’ve smoked, I’ve grilled, I’ve air fried, planning for a dehydration session… Haha! It’s all top notch gear. I’m a complete foodie and totally recommend! Zero issues so far. I do recommend the larger version for a family.

Doesn’t Work With All Ninja Grills. I got the app bc of the QR code on the box for my new grill. The “simple” instructions for turning on bluetooth for grill do not apply for this model. If this grill does not have bluetooth, why suggest the app on the packaging???? Annoying distraction.
