good but not great. the new updated look for the app is ok, I much prefer the simpler approach. now I hate how you can’t flip back and forth to your previous searches, PLEASE BRING THIS FEATURE BACK, or add a recently searched log, I shouldn't have to rewrite a question multiple times. they fixed one thing but ruined another. and they couldn’t even update all the pitchers in the MLB with the wrong career records, smh

False Information. Don’t download

Almost perfect. I haven’t experienced any of the other issues in other reviews, granted it’s only been a couple days of use. The voice recognition works great. The only thing I’m having an issue with, whenever I launch the app it crashes, but immediately opening it again it works perfectly. I’m on a 15 pro max iOS 17.4 and app is up to date. For now I’ve remedied it with a shortcut but it’d be nice if that caught fixed so

This app is amazing. Completely surprised and amazed at how specific of questions StatMuse can understand. Wish it had a list view of all your muses though. Also a list of qualifiers that you can add would also be helpful but I love this app!

just don’t. if you’re going to use statmuse, just use the website. the app takes 40 years to load any stats up it’s pointless, but for some reason it’s fine on the website. no this is not just my internet

New update ruined the app. The new update has completely ruined the experience. What used to be simple and easy to use has now become overly complicated, with a UI that feels clunky and unattractive compared to the beautiful design we had before. I genuinely don’t understand why the developers made this choice—it’s extremely disappointing to lose the sleek, intuitive interface we were so used to. I’d honestly be willing to pay just to get the old UI back

Better to stick with the website. It’s way too glitchy compared to the website. Can’t check stats without it swiping back to the main screen.

Needs work. I want this app to be great, but it’s currently almost useless. First, just as a company, statmuse doesn’t provide any in-depth/hard to find stats that you can’t find just by searching for the player on ESPN or Pro football reference. I’ve tried several stats that would give real enhanced value to look at which it couldn’t return, including simply target share by year for an NFL player. Also, as an app it crashes each time you exit it and it has incredibly slow response times. They need to invest in some performance testing to make this actually useable.

Go back to the old version. man what is this app now. UI is absolute trash. Used to be so simple and looked so good. All it needed was a more advanced search system to get more specific answers/results. At least give us the option to revert back to the other UI; it was so clean and so simple. Or make it a tab we can select when we want quick voice-searches

Great App. Great App I love how I can see stats for quarters and half’s I just wish they had WNBA Stats

1 star for one BIG specific reason. App does not allow you to search any stats when on FaceTime . Why can’t we manually type/search a different way . Everytime I click the voice tab (wanting to type search due to being on FaceTime) the app crashes . One star until that’s fixed

Lame and suspect. The app itself is wack. All you can do is get talked at about stats about players. To be able to search you have to leave the app and use a browser to look at their website. I searched “rookie wide receiver receiving leaders in 2020” it has Marken Michel at the top with 0 yards. Marken Michel went undrafted IN 2016! Not only that but Gabriel Davis isn’t even listed on there! Who knows what other messes are on there!? I question the mental health of this elephant!

How to improve. Saw you acknowledged another reviewer that search backswipe and history is coming, good! Few other UX requests: -Autocorrect working in search bar (misspelled qualifier words aren’t being corrected) -clicking search button on bottom tab should launch the cursor active so you can search right away -top search result can get glitchy (example I search LeBron, then my next search is jeter but the top results are about LeBron) -Clicking home bottom bar button again should scroll you back to top Lastly, if I search “Selected first in Last 10 nba drafts” I would expect the accompanying years to be a divable entry (ie 2022 will say paolo but clicking the year 2022 should bring you next to the full 2022 nba draft)

Incredible, please expand. This app has awesome potential. I absolute love having all NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL stays in one place. I am hoping for even more in depth stats eventually. Particularly more for NFL like ADOT, red zone carries, snap counts, etc. Also, I would absolutely love if soccer was included primarily MLS, Premier League, and international competitions.

NFL draft and projections don’t work. Historical queries are fine, but I could’ve done that with Siri. What sets this app apart is its use cases in sports betting (DraftKings, fanduel). It gives the better a competitive edge with insights at voice commands. However, currently it does not work as advertised in the Forbes article. I’ll give it 5 stars once Matthew Berry starts answering my questions about ffb draft and projections. I don’t wanna go thru Alexa or any other third party to use this feature.

Beautiful app. Amazing! I can find every stat I want in every sport I want, simply incredible :)

Nice idea. Mediocre execution. If you want to ask a question you may have to word it differently 3 or 4 times before you get an answer specific to your question. “Which team is leading the NL wins this season” might be the question you ask and your answer will be “Justin Verlander”. Like huh. How did you even get there? It works sometimes and sometimes it’s a headache

Very helpful. This app is very helpful, it gives you so much information about football, basketball, baseball and so much more. It has about every kind of stat or player you can think of. StatMuse is a very helpful app.

Amazing. Amazing Wonderful

That autoplay feature is really annoying.. I’d give this 5 stars if the autoplay into another stat (that I didn’t even want to see) was a feature I could turn off. There is no setting allowing me to do so.

Ads. Can this company stop all the ads on the website!!! The glitching is another problem as well. I love this website to look at past games but it’s slow, tends to glitch, and insane amount of ads which makes it stressful trying to use the site. The site format is way better than the app!! Can this please be fixed!

Redesign is amazing. Beautiful new look and where I go to get all my sports stats.

Great concept, terrible execution. The idea of being able to pull up stats for any player at a moments notice is a great idea, but the app is probably the worst I’ve ever used. Constantly buggy, slow, and not working. If they fixed the app this would be an easy 5 star.

No Search Bar. You’re not able to look up individual stats of players or teams which should be available in the app. Instead I have to go to the website to get the full Statmuse experience. This is in beta mode. Give fans what they want and deserve

Simple, Addictive, Fascinating and Full of Promise. As a pretty big nerd, both in terms of being an obsessive fan and a lifelong tech junkie, this is one of the most amazing apps I’ve come across in a while. It’s incredibly useful almost accidentally for anyone who loves deep stats and it’s use of AI and the neural tech is beyond anything I’ve seen executed in the brave new “app for everything even if we don’t need it” world. Can’t wait to see where it goes. Highly recommend to anyone who ranges from a casual fan to a curious techie to an effing stat freak.

Not like the website.. When I saw there was an app for StatMuse I was pretty excited, I use StatMuse a lot as a nba fan. But, when I downloaded the app I was pretty disappointed. You have to swipe to view random stats based on your interests. The talking can get quite annoying. My expectations were I would be able to create an account so it was save stats I looked at or give me notifications for fun little stats. I’ll stick with the web version until the app gets an update. Don’t fix what’s not broken.

Exactly what I was expecting. Once I heard there was a StatMuse app I knew I should check it out. It’s way more convenient than using the website and I’m a fan of the UI and the info it gives me without even needing to search anything. The ads aren’t excessive either which can be a deal breaker for these types of apps. Totally recommend.

Update Trash. Update is god awful! Was way much easier before the update. Plz revert to how it was before!

My favorite app. Ive known about statmuse for a while now and I even wrote my ap report on the company. I think the app is amazing so far. One feature it is lacking that I would have to recommend is to be able to add/drop teams to your favorites or even single players.

Great Stats Tool Terrible App. The stats are really useful and the ability to lookup something like ‘Tyreek vs Bills’ is really useful. The interface is horrendous. You are forced to go through a long demo with no possibility of skipping. The app also tries to make you use your voice over typing instead of simply providing both options. This would’ve been a great app if it only included a search box at the top, the relevant stats after the search, and a favorite searches tab. It tries to do way too much

Voice Search. Could do without the slides and voice search. Definitely could just use Siri. If the app looked more like the actual website this would be 10/5 stars

Amazing technology with practical use. This app will be put to good use each weekend when I'm tracking the progress of my fantasy lineup.

Broken app. App doesn’t even work anymore just force closes every time

Clunky and worse than just using the website. Usually apps are better than websites but this isn’t the case. This app makes it so hard to just search a player and see their stats, last 5 games, etc. I don’t wanna use my voice to search while I’m at work, also don’t want stats read to me.

HOW DO THEY DO THIS?!?. Alright, it's actually really easy to make, but everything is perfect. The characters look totally real, their voices are spot on, and everything feels awesome being in the app. Such a cool idea, and I really hope. The only thing is I hope the recognize the questions you ask more, but that's it! Thanks for making this!

Very solid, but…. This app is so good and useful, however most of the time you try to use the voice feature the app crashes. If it didn’t crash when you tried talking to it, this app is easily 5 stars

Could be way better. Statmuse the website is superior to its mobile app. I use their system to get stats about certain players. Their mobile app forces you to use Siri and doesn’t present you any easy to use search bar. This is working against them.

Great app. Sports is all numbers. Numbers will tell you if a player is good, good in which area of the game, and you cannot deny numbers. This app gives you all the numbers and facts you didn’t even know you wanted. Stats can give an explanation to every question you have. If you consider yourself a sports fan, get this app immediately because it is organized, very easy to use, and gives you any stat you want of any sport.

Can’t sign in. This app/website needs a normal sign in option. It is very disturbing that I have to open my email then click a link that opens up another browser instead of me just being able to sign in normally. Great app, horrible sign in options.

Amazing for specific data. This app in incredible!! I always could not find answers to specific sports questions pertaining to a persons overall stats until I discovered this app.

Might as well use website. Don’t bother downloading this app, it just wants to talk off sports stats to you. Just bookmark the website and use that for your sports betting stats. Can’t even figure out how to access stats once I finally figured out that you have to push the microphone button to even type in a search. Terrible design and hides all the valuable info statmuse has. Hire a UX person to help you build an app that’s useful….

Great but make social. Love this app, stats I would never see or even think to google pop all the time. In depth stats for every swipe, dope speakers. I think if they add a comment section w likes similar to BR, this would explode. Like i just saw Evan engram led the giants w 3tds in 2021. The comment section would b going wild

Wasted potential!!. This app could be so much better if there was a way to scroll and navigate the app without having to use this gimmicky voice recognition thing. Why can’t a search and look for stats??? Presentation is amazing and the designs are breathtaking but come on!! On the website I could actually do some of this stuff, but the app restricts me from it

Useless. App has a good concept but is a headache to use. No search bar or categories to search from, you're forced to use voice command which is completely unnecessary. Love the website but the app simply does not work well or efficiently.

Would recommend fo sho. A lot of old reviews seem to be out of touch with the current app, I love it! They’ve updated and added things like the search (that were complaints by customers). I love an app/company that listens!

Good, but has its issues. The new update is really annoying to use. For example the “swipe to go back” feature. Sometimes I am scrolling up and down and it goes back to the search page. For example, search for a player stat, look at stats in a particular game, scroll up and down and it goes back. Not only does it go back, it doesn’t even go back to the player page I was previously on. It goes back all the way to the search feature. So so bad

False info. Stats are the worst I’ve seen in my life. Most of them are way off and I learned very early not to base anything off this app

Great but needs improvements. Needs quarter by quarter nba stats. I.e most made 3’s in a quarter most points scored in a quarter etc

What is this?. I love searched 'NHL games today, and it showed me the baseball games- when NHL preseason is underway, and the Blackhawks are playing!

Incredible and Insightful. Been following @statmuse on Instagram for a LONG time now, but this app ups their posts to a whole other level. It clearly gives you statistics, even if some may be far-fetched or weird all together. I always thought that having to wait for a post from the Instagram account for new stats was always rather boring, to say the least, but this app bridged that gap marvelously. Only thing missing is individual players, which I cannot imagine is any easy task to undertake, but it’s a fantastic, simple, appealing, useful, and insightful idea and execution altogether!
