Really wanted to like this, but.... I have played tennis with this app tracking my game at least twice a week for the past few months. I really like the concept and think that the developer has done a great job of pulling together interesting stats around the game. I am not yet convinced on accuracy given some misinterpretations between serves, volleys and different types of spin. However, I am finally at the point that I can't use this app based on its instability. Out of the last 6 times I have played, the app has mysteriously disappeared mid-match from my watch 4 of those times. Really frustrating given you lose the workout data entirely. As I said, I think this app has great potential, but the instability is too frustrating.

Doesn’t work. The app never tracks my shots. I play tennis for over an hour and shows that I took 5 shots. Frustrating that I can’t use any of the data.

App not working on iPhone X. App does not open on iPhone X. App still will not open.. UGH!

Great app for Apple Watch. Very useful for tennis lovers. Swing detection & analyzing work nice. I'm looking forward to tomorrow match.

Can’t even open it. It used to work great but I got an iPhone XR and now it just crashes and never opens. Tried restarting my phone many times and I am current on all updates.

No longer working. The app worked for a couple of years. Now it no longer is giving me the data detailed data of ground stroke speed or rally length. It is no longer linked to my Apple Health app. Contacted developer and never heard back.

Does not work. Does not install on new watch

Speed. Used to read speed much better before. Now It records much slower speed in every swing

Used to be great. Not sure why doesn’t open anymore on my iPhone X. Used to love this app. Please fix/ update and i will change my review to 5 stars.

Completely unusable. Purchased this morning and tried it out during a practice session. Crashed after a few minutes of use each time I kicked off the app. The app was never able to record data from even a single tennis session, so I could not even make a determination as to how accurate it was, if at all. I was able to configure the app on the iPhone and start a session on the watch and, for the first few minutes it seemed to behave as though it was tracking my shots and activity. However, then I would look at my watch and the app would have crashed. Same result each time I tried. I was using an Apple Watch series 3 that I just purchased (with a cell plan), which was connected via Bluetooth to my iPhone 6. Both are up to date with the latest version of iOS/WatchOS. Very disappointed to have paid $6.99 for an app that is totally unusable.

Fix this. I'm in total agreement w/ Craig 109. Same issues. Until this is fixed, the app is wasting space. Why do I care about someone else's match? Why can't I see the practice session I just finished? Please fix this.

Speed. The speed used to be much more accurate . Now the recorded speed is significantly slower

Is This a Joke?. I bought this app for $10 because I didn’t want to upgrade to the new Apple Watch Series 7 in order to get the new service speed feature. From what is described in this app, it is supposed to measure your service speed. This is misleading. You basically have to play an entire set or games and then it gives you an average speed which is totally inaccurate. I do not recommend this app. Save your money!

Broken after update. Since installing the July 20 update, this app doesn't open on the iPhone. Have reset everything else, so the only problem is this app. Used to love this app, but if it won't open, it's useless. Hope the developer can quickly fix this problem. Update 7/28/16: since latest version (1.4.6?), this app now shows a bunch of sessions that aren't mine, and doesn't show mine. Until this issue is fixed, the app is worthless. I don't need to see someone else's swing analysis, but I'd sure like to see mine. But I can hit hundreds of shots in a practice session, stop the session on my watch, and NEVER get to see the results on my phone. What good is a swing analyzer if you can't review and analyze your swings after your practice or match? When I first got this app, a few updates ago, I was impressed by what it could tell me about my game, but since it's been updated, it doesn't store or save my session information. Maybe the developer should revert to a previous version that worked as advertised.

Speed measue is inaccurate. The speed measure is not accurate. Records much slower speeds.

Tennis Plus Does Not Work With iOS11. Working fine with both the iOS AND watch updates.

App Won’t open on iPhone 11. Watch app problems too..,. The app was fine on my iPhone 7 but won’t get past the initial splash screen on iPhone 11. After about 10 seconds the app disappears but is still running in the background. Resuming the app shows the splash screen for another 10 seconds. On the apple watch 4 running watchOS 6 the app won’t allow me to end a tennis session. Pressing the END icon causes a short beep and the session continues, never syncing with the phone. I reached out to support via twitter and received no response. Help!

Any more updates?. Will this app have any more/new update?

My review. So far I've used this for three tennis sessions. One was a match lasting 2 hours. I wore the watch on the correct wrist and followed all instructions. I was surprised to see that it only registered 3 serves when I hit at least 30 plus serves. Maybe these register as smashes as I noticed a lot of smashes registered and I did not hit many smashes. The fact this app doesn't register serves as I expected makes me wonder how accurate the other measurements are.

Doesn’t work. Worked well until IOS 13 came out. Now it won’t open on my phone and locks up my iWatch.

So far so good. I liked knowing what type of different shots I use and the speed. Very useful

Crahses. Latest version just crashes on startup on the iphone 11 pro. Can’t view results.

Nice upgrade.. Now you can watch your swing which is just amazing. I definitely need to lift up my arms higher at the end.

Less speed detected compared to previous version. Please check the speed algorithm, it detects much slower ball speed

Now that warmer weather exists. This app really is not what it's advertised to be. I have used it in practice and matches. While it registers shots in practice, it really has no rhyme or reason in recording forehands and backhands. In a match, I had the same problem others have had: it records only a small percentage of real shots. I find that if I bloop a shot without a full follow through, the shot never happened. Tennis as I play it is as reactionary as it is enjoyable. Sometimes I don't have a full follow through. But I would still like to remember that I hit it. Also, this was my first practice session since the update. It recorded no calorie data or heart rate. EDIT: This latest version of the app really improves the recording of shots. I am more impressed with this version. As for the calorie data and heart rate, the problems I had were a settings issue on my phone. Works just fine.

I’ve had this for over a year now. It’s been working great up until recently. For the most part we’ve used it to keep track of our shot count, power, forehand, and backhand. My wife and I mostly volley for exercise, 300 plus shots in an hour.. The last couple weeks it’s been acting up, first it stop syncing from the watch to the phone, I reinstalled the app on the phone and that seemed to fix that problem, but now it’s shutting down in the middle of our time on the court and today failed to register shots as well as shutting down.. Today for instance I only had 30 shots registered...

slcpa. I am a tennis fanatic. I have tried many devices like the Sony sensor and Qlipp. I was hoping this app would allow me not to use them. While this app is a good idea, the statistics are very inaccurate. It shows 53% of my shots were volleys. I rarely go to the net. The sensors were much more accurate. I hope this improves over time. I think it is a great idea. I am willing to help in any way I can. Beta test changes as well.

Data is not accurate.. It’s so misleading... I served the whole night and it showed I served only twice. Everything it showed was wrong.

App not recording the whole match. App was working properly and now only records a portion of the match.

Useful App Idea but. I really like the idea of this App and use it every time I hit. Works well on the watch but have had frequent problems transferring data to iPhone. Sometimes the data just doesn't show up for a given session. And since last update the iPhone App won't even open as it crashes immediately.

Useless App. No Dev Support. The app crashes and refuses to launch on iPhone so it’s basically useless now. I reached out to Developer and have not received a response in over two weeks. Do not waste your money on this useless app with no support.

IOS 11 incompatible!. Not working now. Used to be great. Shuts down as soon as opened. Please fix! After opening application, it opens for a second and disappears. It is still opened in a background but any attempts to relaunch it through double-click on home button fail. Just before iOS 11 update, it also failed to sync with iWatch.

Extreme disappointment. App freezes on startup (iPhone 7 iOS 13.1.3) and does not go further than purple splash screen. Watch OS is the most recent. “Minor bug fix” issued on December 3d did not help. Can this app be finally and properly fixed? I do not understand why did I dumped 7 USD for this not working soft? I’d put 0 points but it is possible to put only 1 as minimal rating.

No data. After the last update i get no data. The calendar has dots showing the sessions but no data appears. Please fix it. Is there a support email address?

App unusable. Ever since 2 updates ago app will not sync. Unfortunate because I used this everyday to track swing. Unless it gets fixed soon, will uninstall.

Doesn't work. I've tried using this app 4 times while playing a tennis match and it never registers any shots or the session. The developer never responds to email feedback and the "website" that is supposed to provide help just points to a Twitter account. App is a rip off - just want my money back.

Great Functionality. Great app. A lot more accurate than expected. Definitely worth purchasing if you like to analyze your tennis performance.

Won’t sync after iOS 13. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the app won’t sync with my watch. Plus I’ve lost months of data. Really frustrating.

Great idea, needs lots of work. When I read about all the capabilities this app had I was very excited to try it out. Unfortunately, the app is not very accurate and it has a lot of trouble recognizing what kind of shots you hit. For example I played a full 2 set match (7-6, 7-5) and it said I only hit 15 serves total. I would 100% recommend this app once its accuracy issues are fixed.

Good app needs improvements. Good stats detects type of stroke and racket speed. Also would love to see a table tennis version where there is less dead time between strokes otherwise the app misses the stroke altogether

Overpriced and not accurate. Unfortunately the stats are very inaccurate. Not justifiable for the price and the menu calibration in the watch is offset..

Love the App - when it works!!. Love be the App but the 2nd swipe screen which shows speeds for forehands and backhands has only worked once out of about 20. Would like to see this fixed.

Doesn't work. Great concept but unfortunately it doesn't deliver on what it says it does. Maybe half (at best) of swings were detected. Serves not detected at all. Contacted the app owner and received no response. Save your $$$

Swing speed not accurate. It used to be accurate but now is at least 30+km slower than expected, please fix it! I am using Apple Watch 1 , Model 1803
