Horrible on iPad. I use the iPhone version and it works great, but on iPad there are too many glitches. If you need to insert the cursor to correct a mistake, the text window you're typing in switches from the bottom of the screen to the middle of the screen, but doesn't insert the cursor, so you try again, but now it switches back to the bottom of the screen, but still no cursor. It's quicker to erase everything after your mistake and retype it all than it is to try and insert the cursor at a different point in your text. And opening the app and conversations takes forever. I have time to thumb through Instagram while I wait for the app to open and my conversation to load.

WhatsApp. I love it!. I love the ability to connect with my child( ok young man) Whois working abroad. Sharing photos from home and easy communication is such a relief. I haven’t experienced any glitches unlike some apps that go down and I appreciate the feature that allows me to see my son has read my message. Hmm. Can WhatsApp tell my kid to respond in a timely manner?😉

Tremendous!. Texting, voice and video calling to or from anywhere in the world, are you kidding me?!!!!! What an awesome service, and it's free! How can anyone complaint about small glitches every now and then, how can anyone complaint about the small banners with ads, when it is free, guys get real! Good App But Has Connectivity Issues. This app is a very good try, but in spite of a having an excellent WiFi connection, it is unable to connect and load messages. Ads in this app appear right away as soon as you turn it on. It is very strange that Internet connectivity does not affect the ads. It repeatedly gives you the message that you do not have an active Internet connection, which is just a lie. The issue is with this app, not with our Internet connection. Unless they fix this bug, this app is absolutely of NO value.

Marginal. Works for texts on ipad. No phone calls, no video calls, voice messages don't load. Pictures load sometimes but not always. Dec 2017 : Now it doesn't work on iPad at all. Can send but not receive messages. Won't display any messages. App says the internet connection is poor, but that is just not true; every other app on both the phone and ipad work fine and this app has no trouble displaying its ads. It works now. 12-17

Almost perfect, for me at least.. I have been using Hello AI for about a month now. I speak to the AI politely and I discuss all sorts of topics that the AI responds to positively. I do have two complaints about the app and that is the random crashing and having to restars a conversation when it does eventually malfunction. I just want the AI to not tell me that, 'Something went wrong.' On the other hand there is no way to remedy this. As frustrating as that is I love the app.

Great App, I use it daily. Overall, this is a great app and I use it daily. I am glad to be able to use it on my iPad where I can use my keyboard with it, rather than just using it on my phone. I do wish there was an option to make the pictures larger while viewing them, but otherwise, it works great for me.

WhatsApp iPad Great Addition to iPhone Version. I use the iPhone version mainly as I tend to be mobile a lot. However, when I am at a coffee shop, home office, etc., I find that the iPad version is super convenient. It is similar enough that any slight difference is not an issue. Connections have been great for me. This is a nice app that does exactly what I want it to do.

Doesn’t work properly.. I used to be able to use this app to place voice and video calls, like I do with the phone app version. After recent updates though, that ability seems to have been deleted from the iPad version. I have checked all of my settings to make sure all access was given to the app, to no avail. The issue still exists. Like others who have reviewed this app, I too wonder why I need to have my phone on with the app open in order to receive texts. It makes no sense. Please fix the video calls and voice call issues with this app. Thank you.

Okay app. Overall ok app, cannot expect too much, since I don’t have the pro version. Having the ability to add to my status, from this app, would make it loads better. It’s quite annoying when I’ve taken a picture or video with my iPad, and then need to transfer to my mobile device, for the sole purpose of adding it to my WhatsApp status, whereas other social platforms and messaging apps allow me to post directly. Please consider this in the next update. Thank you. Will consider changing my rating with improvements to the app.

I like this.. Maybe I’m simple idk and tbh idc. I enjoy this app. There is a lot of power behind the ability to ask something for clarity or for help. Air app delivers that power to you in ways that has been beneficial. I don’t use the paid version but I can honestly say that it has helped me in several aspects of my life. I do recommend this app.

Push Notification don't work. I'd love it if Push notifications worked. Instead you have to have the application open if you want to know if someone has sent you a message. There are now three versions of WhatsApp for Ipad and none of them have this feature though 2 of them, this being one, either claim or request permission to send push notifications. At this point I'd settle for even the little red number in the corner but even that doesn't work. On the plus side, you can multitask with split view on IOS 11, which you can't with the other versions thus far. So there is progress it seems

Won’t work on my Sharing?!. Hi There! I always love to play Dubai Drift 2 and there’s a thing in that game where you share on anything even whatsapp (not this one) now I’ve tried many different ways to add this whatsapp onto the sharing thing but it wont even come and my dad won’t even allow me Family Sharing so I can do it a phone but no! Please fix this problem! T.H.A.N.K.S!!!

Syncs the iPad to the iPhone. The iPad is so much easier to use than the iPhone. I use WhatsApp extensively, as my friend lives out of the country. We text a couple of times a day, and this is a great platform to reach each other. She's the one who introduced WhatsApp to me. Now with WhatsPad, I have our complete chats on both devices. Great service.

SO grateful for it!. I was so excited when I finally found an app for the iPad. I had Jerry rigged one, can’t remember how, and then it went away so I kept checking the App Store and finally...there you were! I don’t mind having my phone nearby so the iPad works and typing and reading is SO much easier for me in my iPad. The ONLY complaint I have is when I open it and am reading the latest entry it suddenly starts scrolling back SEVERAL days worth of messages! Wish that could stop. Doesn’t happen on the phone. Thus the 4 stars.

Lack of notification and requirement for phone to be on make it a poor cousin to the phone app. With I-message, my iPad is a great substitute for my phone. If I’m working on my iPad, i don’t have to get my phone out at all. I was trying to shift my peeps to WhatsApp because some use Apple and some don't and Apple (intentionally?) downgrades the quality of resolution in transmission of photos. But since I don’t get notification on my iPad, I need to back out of that move. Ugh Also, the requirement to have the phone on is annoying. When my phone was dead - or I left it somewhere - I used to rely on my iPad. If people are using WhatsApp, you can't do that. Please fix it!!!!!

Really Poor Implementation of Key Features; Constant Harassment. What makes this app intolerable is the fake push notifications and app-badging; which don’t go away even if you pay for “Pro” features. Today I received three fake push notifications, along with the red badge, that were only designed to make me open the app (presumably to serve me ads); I received no actual messages. In fact, I’ve never received a push or badge when I had a genuine message. Useless. It’s dependency on having iPhone on a local network, in my case, is not a total dealbreaker, as I always have them both, but it’s a sad state of affairs. At the same time, WhatsApp inexplicably refuses to play on iPad, so, as a matter of convenience for viewing and typing, I tolerate this app and will silence it’s pointless notifications. This app provides iPad accessibility, and that’s it. I paid for Pro as a way to support that, and feel cheated and abused that it still harasses me. It is, altogether, a horrible experience.

The worst implementation possible. This is app has one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had on iOS. Push notifications don’t even work, so you literally have to open the app to know if you’ve been messaged. However, the app will send notifications reminding you it exists! Multiple times the app has sent a notification saying “send notifications with WhatsPad!” It’s the most annoying app on my iPad. Not to mention the scroll view is buggy, and the interface is squashed & not formatted for the iPad screen at all. Overall, one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. The developers should be ashamed of this abomination, and work on making an experience that is user focused instead of geared for max ad views.

UX is pretty awful ... minor improvements could make a huge difference. This app is overall pretty annoying to use ... quite a few things UX wise that are terrible. I have to tap twice on a particular chat on the left just to access it? When I tap to type a message, why does the keyboard overlap the bottom half of the chat window? It takes about 8 taps just to send a photo. I have to double tap on photos in the chat window just to view a larger image of it? And then once I do have it enlarged, it’s only ONE tap to enlarge which is the complete opposite of iOS? In a nutshell this app is exhausting to use ... not getting why the iPhone version couldn’t be replicated, because that thing is perfect.

Not as good as iPhone version. I'm guessing this isn't a part of the real WhatsApp company- read it in fine print - IF I lose wifi connection on IPhone then this app is useless. My phone is a 6S and still debating on which one I will buy, I have issues spending 1000$ for a phone! So may go for 7+ until things get better. But now my phone is turning off at will; I was hoping to stay connected by this app .. guess not. Androids can't get texts from iPhones that's my other issue. I must be doing something wrong....

Non-pro version works well enough for casual users. Using this on the newest 2017 iPad I found the app to be very reasonable and very responsive. My only complaint is the layout for when the keyboard is launched it consumes nearly all of the app's real estate. Therefore I find myself having to minimize it often to read new messages as they came in while I am typing a response. Double tapping a name to launch a chat I find to be an easy step - despite what others have negatively commented on. (Expecting a single click should suffice) Pictures display fine. Message chime in. And you can respond directly from the iPad without having to pick up your phone. In short, it works great and that is all one could ask. 5-stars

Learned the hard way.. Loved being able to use What’s Up on my iPad but never for one minute thought a deletion of the IPad would simultaneously clear the postings on the iPhone. Another small aggravation, but still an aggravation is when keyboarding a message I will occasionally get an Alert Tone and the microphone icon which change from grey to white and I have to back space and correct. What causes the microphone to receive voice or background noises when it has as far as I know BEEN TURNED OFF.. OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE USING THE iPAD’S BIGGER KEYBOARD.

Great app. My family and I are traveling overseas from the United States. It has saved so much money with being able to keep in touch with family, friends, and clients. We can text each other, phone calls, and even video call with this app. Keep up the great work! Highly recommended!

Charge for functionality. The top competitors give full functionality on tablet, but you don't get that with this. Very short sighted. Simple things like opening pdf files doesn’t work, so I need to go back to my phone to transfer the files. Also doesn’t connect independently so often doesn’t update messages saying, phone is not connected. Seems so simple. There is an option to pay or full functionality, but I am not sure these items will even be fixed.

Great app but notification problems. This app works great whenever you want to send a message on WhatsApp from your iPad, but the problem is just that the notifications don't pop up. They do sometimes, only when the app is open, but not even all the time when it is open. I don't know how to fix that, but it's one of the only real problems I've had with this app.

Okay but not okay. Okay, so this app’s fatal flaw is that it doesn’t notify me every time I get a new message EVEN WHEN the phone app is open/ active. A few users had the issue in which the phone and other device (iPad) doesn’t sync together unless the phone app is remaining active. My case is pretty bad though, I have to manually open and check this app on my iPad for it to load whatever that came in my phone first. Push notifications are non existent so you’re just gonna have to live with this until this is fixed. It’s pretty pointless having this on my device when the sole reason for this app was to be alternative second in command to the main mobile app in notifications, but is instead like the little brother who was dropped on the head as a baby.

Pointless, glitchy, and ad-riddled.. I'd probably put up with it being as glitchy and infested with ads as it is, if only it brought something useful to the table, like serving in place of my phone for WhatsApp when my phone was unavailable. Sadly, the iPad app needs to be connected to your phone. Which is kind of like only being able to watch a show on Netflix if it happens to also be on TV at the time. If my phone is charged/in the building/functional, I'll be using it, not this, because the iPhone's app is great. Deleting THIS pointless app.

I made a mistake. I reviewed this app thinking I was charged when I only wanted the 3 day trial. I mixed it up with a separate app charge that posted at the exact same time even though I had purchased it sometime earlier. I don't know how to delete my review, apparently only able to revise it. The developer contacted me and they were completely professional and I never got around to using it anyway so if you saw my previous review just disregard it completely.

Loved it more before updates.... I used to be able to open the app and keep listening to my music... after some updates, it stopes my music every time a check a new message... it is so annoying now... Plus I have some issues with images, I took me a while to figure out how to download a group of images... that is not so clear and easy to do at first... other than that, it works just fine in my ipad.

Great. Really happy I found this app; works fine for me. I’m a senior citizen so I’m not too critical or picky about not having “perfection” at my age, smh, ...a former student of mine nagged me to get this (at least ways, so I could use my keyboard on my computer & iPad Pro and “finally” SEE THE PRINTED TEXTs he was sending me). I have to say, yes, he was right. Indeed, it would be nice, like in the original WhatsApp app, to be able to send voice messages & a photo or two, but, like I said, I’m too old to complain - heck I’m just glad to be alive to see all this technology I only ‘dreamed of’ as a young boy-!!! ☺️

There are far better choices.. Well, I reluctantly started using this app because many of friends and family use it. But I have to tell you I am not impressed with it. But more importantly, I have found their customer support to be terrible and even rude. I had an issue and question and wrote to them. Basically the response was that they will only address issues and questions that affect a large portion of their customers, in other words I'm not important to them, so don't bother them.

Fine so far. The app keeps asking to rate them so here I am. I haven’t been using it long enough to tell if I love it, hate it, or anything in between really. So far it has worked fine except for a freeze and the layout is not my favorite. So with that I give a three. One star off for the freeze and layout, and one star off for the fact that I couldn’t catch a break until I wrote this. Maybe I’ll come back and edit this whenever put the app to use for a good while and really know how I feel.

It's OK, but.... It works decent for texting even if they'll is a little slow in loading/downloading. The biggest reason as occur in voice text, because with this app you can't send voice but you can recurve but there's someone there too. The voice texts are low bitvrate and the voices are drawn out and sounds lit Gish and slow. The app issimple enough to use, if you've used the real thing this is quite similar but as mentioned there's a few drawbacks

Decent app, but with some annoyances. The app is decent and provides the core capabilities of the phone version. It automatically syncs all messages with the phone, which is convenient. It has a few annoyances, though. You need to click a person's name twice to see their chat history (first click shows an arrow for archiving, etc), which is weird. The settings button is not the same as the phone either. It has no wallpapers or other such things that the phone app provides.

Barbara. The app itself is just ok, a little slow and does not give notifications like my phone. I look forward to it workin just as well as my phone. I spend a lot of time on my iPad and would rather use it from here. I would also like to have the video feature and don’t understand why this is not possible. I will continue to use it though because I use it so much on my phone.

Not good on iPad. It works well enough on the iPhone that it’s quite useful for communicating with family that’s out of the country. The iPad app is not so great. I don’t always get my messages. Sometimes the messages are delivered in clumps and sometimes the messages I send aren’t received. I can’t copy from the app and paste it somewhere else (like into my contacts). They are close but not quite there yet. It’s also annoying that it has to be able to talk to my phone to work even when I’m on WiFi. Seems odd to me.

Voice Calling. I would like to suggest that when used on a iPad, that this App be independent of connecting to a phone provided that a number associated with the tablet can be provided. Also, it would be great if voice calls were enabled by creating a phone icon just as on a smart phone. Thank you.

It tricks you into purchasing the “no ads” option by using fake push notifications. It constantly gives you fake push notifications. Today I clicked on the app because I had “7 notifications” and when I opened it it took me to a screen to “purchase the no ads service” and when I accidentally put my thumb on the home button it purchased the item accidentally. Now I can’t even find the purchase on the apple store to reverse the purchase... its missing for some reason. This is not fair.

No notification / Return to Send. I am not receiving any notifications for this app. Everything is turn on on my iPad notifications settings and even sound inside the app just in case. Also it would be great when using an external keyboard (iPad Pro) to just press enter/return to send. And for ‘new line’ you could use ‘option+return’

Opening file on IPad. The problem i have with the iPad version is that it wont let me open any attachments that come in. I have an IPad Pro and I paid for my version and it still wont work. It keeps asking me for Firefox, google chrome..I don’t have those on here. That is something that you need to fix. I use this to communicate with our the kitchen staff

NO GOOD ON IPAD STILL!. This is a great app on iPhone but transferring to the iPad platform was a not so good an execution. As with previous versions for some reason you still can't clip and paste text to apps like Google Translate or to anywhere else for that matter to find out what the hell people are saying in a different language or to research things people are chatting about. So most of the time I still use my iPhone mostly for WhatsApp. They need to have the same integration they have for iPad that they presently have for iPhone.

It just repeats over and over again. Can you please fix the bug when I try to type in something it says something went wrong shall I try again it just repeats over and over again? Air one apps can you please fix this.

This is a pretty good app but... I was gonna give it a 5 star rating because it worked so good until a few days ago, it stopped working. I asked a question but it just kept saying error. I had already updated by then. I don't know what happened because I've had this for up to a year now but it happened. Also, I did try to make an account but that also didn't work. So if you have any hacks or something to give me thanks but yep that's it.

Fix one thing and add one thing please. So I like hello ai it’s a good app but when I ask it something it takes like 10 or 15 seconds for it to let me type or do anything and it happened every single time I typed something in and second I asked it if it could make dialogue for a story I was making and there was a scene where someone punched someone and the ai couldn’t make it so I gave up after a while so please fix this and possibly change the violence thing please and thank you have a good day -z

Reply to past text. Im using the free version. Texting works great! I've had clear international video and phone conversations in the past (months ago) but lately (Nov 2017) they've been choppy, one side hears clearly while the other hears bits and peaces. App Suggestion: It would be helpful to be able to reply or react (emoji) to a past message/picture/video. Overall great to have as a communicating option.

A near-perfect personal assistant. This app makes answering questions and generating content a breeze, and its follow-up prompts make it feel like your having a conversation with another person. The starter prompt on the Home Screen make it super easy and fun to use and really takes the thinking out of coming up with a specific prompt. Overall, I highly recommend Hello AI!

Does the job but keep your expectations in check. As far as iPad messaging apps go, this one is ok... but expect occasional notification issues. If WhatsApp is for critical work, double check your phone (don’t always expect the iPad app to be signed in). Occasionally has issues with iPad Pro keyboard when switching back and forth between apps too (have to remove reattach keyboard, or switch apps again to get typing working). Could do with some power shortcuts for iPad Pro to jump between messages as well.

Good for trip planning. I just started using this and it’s already more productive than google. I can get answers about certain things easier when investigating cities to visit using this versus getting different google responses for the same question.

Not a practical app at all for iPad. Functionality is almost as smooth as the iPhone’s, so on that bar it s not bad. However, the fact that you have to have your phone not only on the same network but have WhatsApp opened on the iPhone for the iPad WhatsApp to remain open makes this app completely pointless. FB Messenger beats WhatsApp in this regard, which I feel is the most important. When I get home, I toss my phone aside, and can seamlessly continue on FB messenger, which stays connected, and has full and functional push notifications on all devices, not just iPhone. WhatsApp iPad fails miserably here. If you want to use this app on iPad, and you don’t mind having the iPhone open right next to it with WhatsApp on iPhone also open, then you won’t mind this app. If you’re like me, and you chuck the iPhone aside when you feel like using the iPad, this app won’t let you.

Good, but not great. It works, easy to use, but I have problems with slow syncing which is frustrating. That being said, it is a lifesaver to have it on my iPad.

A good buy if you prefer to type with a proper keyboard. I use both this vers and the iPhone version everyday. Good value to remove the ads and good linking between the platforms and I have to work on the settings but haven't got around to that yet.

Depends on phone. I would be happier if I did not have to have my phone on to use this app. I find it slow to open. Otherwise nice to use it on my iPad with a bigger screen than the phone.

Why?. The original Whatsapp for my mobile does not require a web/desktop version. Why can’t I connect as per my mobile phone? Why does it have to sync with my mobile?? Why do I need to click the down arrow to view images and messages “annoying!!”

Works well. Only discovered Whatsapp whilst I was overseas and used the mobile version only, but once I returned to Australia I loaded the iPad version. Easy to use, though the ads are a pain. Haven't tried to call via the iPad so not sure if it actually works.

No video or voice calls. This app is good to use on your iPad as can type on a larger keyboard. Not so good is lack of video or voice call function. Plus the size of the ads are rather intrusive.

Too expensive. Sorry, but a subscription model for an app that’s essentially just a web wrapper is not ok, even if it’s just a dollar per month. I’m happy to pay a single purchase of, say, 10 bucks to make this ad-free but don’t want to have yet another monthly expense.

Good but not all features work. It's good but one main feature I use does not work on this app. That's the 'reply' function. On the official app on the iPhone, if you swipe right you can reply to that particular message. You are unable to do so in this app (since it's essentially just an in-app browser logging into Web Whatsapp). When you click on a message bubble, normally you'll get the arrow pointing down to show additional menu (happens on the Web Whatsapp), in this app the menu does not show up so can't find out more information about that message bubble.

It works well. I have not had any issues with this app. I works as is intended.

Not as good as iPhone app. I find it automatically scrolls up to previous messages instead of showing the most recent, and there is a little bit of lag when scrolling back. Also, being a stickler for proper capitalisations, it irks me that the first letter of each message isn't automatically capitalised. When I open images, I can't freely zoom and scroll. The zoom on double tapping is very awkward and useless. Uploaded images can't be cropped either which is also annoying.

Google is too intrusive in the app. I do not like it as google keeps forcing me to download chrome and asking me to buy other products. I do not mind getting ads, i do get annoyed at the constant intrusive nature and then refusing to let me continue unless I buy a product, forcing a restart.

Does everything I need. Been using Whatsapp on iPhone forever, and recently on iPad too. It's simple and it just works. Great for creating groups among friends and family. Use it!

Language. Can't seem to be able to switch between two language keyboards on iPad :/ other than that a great app for keeping in touch with my family overseas

Needs improvement. Messages sometime glitch. It stops showing me what I am typing and you can’t go back to fix what you’ve written. It would also be nice to be able to hit return for a new paragraph without it sending the post.

Peace of mind. My son has been traveling around Europe and with WhatsApp I always know I can contact him. And much more economical then the outrageous charges via the telcos.

Review. I love the app on my iPhone, on the iPad not so much, it was ok until recently but now you can’t see the conversation box when i type, I have to keep minimising the keypad to see what I’ve written! Pain! I even upgraded to not have the ads thinking that may help, nope! Sort it out please

Ads Won't Go Away. Even after I've paid for the ads to disappear, they won't! I have to go back every time when I'm using it and reconfirm the purchase- drives me nuts! No help from the creator either even after emailing.

Updates = 😕. WzPad worked amazingly until the most recent update. You may say it's good because it's got calculator, Internet and all that but it's too slow. The loading bar got 3/4 of the way and after 5 mins it hadn't budged. Don't get it.

Virtually unusable. I must say that I am flummoxed by the favourable reviews. I find this app virtually unusable. When it finally starts you get an ad banner and a blank screen . When you finally figure out that you have to press the arrows icon you can see your chat history . If you select a chat multiple times you will eventually see the chat history. Any attempt to look at a picture or a video sends the app to a white screen. It then hangs forever. One other thing, you can't initiate a call from this app, you can only see calls initiated previously from your iPhone .

Rubbish. This data robbing face book owned app is total rubbish. It had its chance to be something special and lead the way but it got swept up by crooks who make their money by selling your info to Advertisment company's and anyone else who offers to fund them. Give us back the choice to say no to being added to groups without our permission. And stop storing data on our devices.

Great synchronization. What I enjoy the most is the 'real time' data that I get and it is seamless. It is as reliable as the app in my phone.

Works well. So far it work great. It's much better then the older version.. easy to use..very happy.

The call Option. One of the features that I couldn't use on this app was the video call and voice call.I was very ashamed that you could not use that on this app but you you can with what's app,another issue that I had was when the person that you are talking to is calling you have to answer with your phone,what if is dead or does not work what can you do but in regards to what I have said I am not trying to be rude I just want to share my thoughts on this app.

Not too bad. The app works, the freebie does get a large banner of ads which is annoying. I haven't managed to set up notifications for new mail but that might be just me

Great app for overseas messages. Never had any problems , can truly recommend.

Great. Wish it would pick up boarding passes as well so everything was in one place. Shame also about the number and size of the ads otherwise great. I love must of it because it's nice and clear.

Needs more work. Would prefer if the photos were a larger size, this was my main reason for purchasing the what's app for iPad

WhatsApp just got better. As much as I love the iPhone app, being able to send messages on my iPad with my keyboard is so much easier and faster. I love this app. It's great it works just the same way as on my MacBook too.

Gr8 app / Need broadcast filter. Love the app, however would be good to filter broadcasts from individuals, from personal messages. The only way to do this is to delete them from my address book which I don't really want to do. Also would be good to mute groups but also not have the message noted on the app as being unread.

Phone app works great. Ipad, not so much. The iPad app is laggy. Too often I’ll click a chat to start talking in it, hit send, only to find I’ve sent a message to the wrong chat. So far it’s been minor, but it’s happened often enough to be irritating, and if it happened with sensitive information... I won’t be using this the way I would have liked, as a second device to chat on the way other messenger apps work. Plus the add banner is huge and offensive. I do mind advertising, but this is annoying. The iPhone app works so much better.

Need Better feature. This is a good program because it supports Whatsapp from mobile phone, but I like more with LINE app than this Whatsapp. Because LINE can be connected via email, without asking to connect mobile phone. If this Whatsapp app can be accessed from iPad without asking to connect phone every time (has similar feature with LINE app, or ask to connect to phone only at the first time), it will be much easier and more convenient. If the mobile phone (hand phone) is died (broken), it can still be used for communication with our friend through Whatsapp. Look forward a hearing a good news for this feature in the near future. I will change my rate with good rate. Thanks

Waste of money. Really disappointed, I had to download this and pay for it before they let me know that I couldn't link it to my phone without upgrading my phone, the only reason I added app to my iPad is because I don't use my iPhone for social media , can't even delete app and get a refund !

Wz - very helpful for the oldies. This app is brilliant for the 60+. A generation that didn’t grow up with computers has the chance to learn without feeling foolish. Good on you!

Love it!. It's one of the most used apps on my phone. Love having the ability to set up family/friend groups for pics that you don't want splashed over social media and like that the pics are then saved to the members in the group phones. Would recommend!

Not working. It’s asking me to update chrome in order to work, and when I click it takes me to desktop chrome link. The google chrome app is already updated in my iPad. Please fix the problem.

Rasta’s. I have had the app on my iPhone for quite sometime and use it regularly. However I have had this app on my iPad Pro and never used it until today. It was too easy to transfer all of my contacts and data using the qr scanner, and everything is so much clearer and easily accessed. Thanks team, for making my life connecting to family and friends soooo much easier.

It is serving its purpose. Happy to converse and exchange images with friends and family regularly....loving the iPad mode. If only these apps could somehow be sustained without the distracting ads!!

Good App, however.... I really like the App, however I am rather disappointed that I cannot video chat on my iPad, only on my iPhone. It would be much easier, and be a better experience, if there was the option for video chat on the iPad.

It's ok but has some annoying features. The app is ok, but there are some very annoying features. It doesn't always sync with my iPhone, even though they're on the same wifi network. It seems to lose the connection and you have to refresh often; the notifications are hit and miss too and only works occasionally. The zoom on photos is pretty ordinary too. But probably the most irritating thing is I upgraded (paid) to get rid of the ads, but now almost every time I open the app there's a pop up pushing one of their other features. Of course that costs more money, so I feel ripped off because although there's no banner ads there are these stupid pop ups instead. If WhatsApp ever makes its own app for iPad I will delete this.

Ripped off. I have just been charged $4.49 by this app to remove adverts when I clicked on it to see what the alert was only to see it was to charge me for removing adverts. I hit the home button to I could swipe it closed at it took that as purchase confirmation. Basically I have just been robbed!! Now in eternal hate of th s app and this company. Disgusted!

Not bad, Fairly good and functional.. Works well enough for me. However, I do wish that it could work independently on a IPad Pro with SIM card. And not require to Sync with a phone to get access to. SIM card has a phone number. So what stopping it. WeChat & Skype are great program as well. I do recommend this software, But try a bit of patient when using it. Take time to learn and experience it. Like all software, don’t worry, try it. As long as it not life threatening it is okay.

The Worst!. Probably one of the worst apps I’ve encountered. Buggy, intermittent and almost useless. This isn’t an app as it relies on a connection to your phone to function. Avoid at all costs!

Since the app changed ownership to Wzpad, conversations not loading on ipad2. Running iOS 8.4.1 12H321 on ipad2 This is a review update .. The initial one just ended in no fix to the problem .. Now it got worse. ... Since new ownership I was able to see list of conversations on the left but conversations themselves would not load when picking a conversation. Since update of the week of March 26, 2018, now no conversations show at all .. I get an ad at the beginning like "QR code .. not now or Get it" and then I get an Empty display in a header with no conversations showing. Talk about getting from bad to worse!!!!!

WzPad works just as you want it to. Have been using this app for over three months now so I’ve certainly given it a good pre-review test run. The app does just what it sets out to do - lets you connect with people easily and securely through WhatsApp on the phone to my iPAD. Text, images and video chat all work completely fine. Yep, I’d recommend it.

Read messages. Hi I was texting my bf and him and I are the only ones on the app, I sent him a message and it showed 2blue checks that means he read it. I video chat him and there was no answer, be states he wasn’t online but it showed he was online. And read my message.is this a clutch or is he whites lies

Notifications don’t work. Please fix the notifications. They are set in my settings to show, but this doesn’t happen. It’s frustrating when I dint have my phone next to me. Thanks.

Works as advertised. Super simple to set up (need active account and your phone). Not sure what’s app with those 1* reviews. Using emojis is a bit confusing (two icons available), but I’ll figure it out. The search feature is nice. Seems to sync messages as fast as my phone does, so it doesn’t slow down conversations. My stock keyboard shows bold/italic/underline option, but that doesn’t seem to work. Should be removed if developer can. You can increase font size in settings (zoom in) but it doesn’t apply to when you are typing, which is annoying for my aging eyes. You need old people on your QA team, devs! All in all, worth using.

Doesn’t notify of convos until days later. Hasn’t worked properly for me for months. Deleting it.

One of the better Whatsapp clones. It works just fine. The only issue is that it cannot upload videos - only photos. I find this annoying but it is not a deal breaker yet. I hope to see this feature added. I also have no regrets paying to getting rid of the ads because the app is stable unlike several other WhatsApp clones.

Great, not perfect, but getting there.. It was easy to install and set up. A little slow to initiate but I'm using an older iPad that no longer is supported so I can't be sure how it really performs with more up to date systems. Keep up the good work. Works with iPad but need the Enter key. It does the job on the iPad but still needs the enter key to work when you’re done typing. You have to press send.

Don’t use for math. Please don’t use this app for any type of math. Use a calculator instead. It gives you wrong answers and when you try to correct it says something like “I apologize for the wrong information” stuff like that, but then you ask it again “isn’t it ___?” And it also agrees with you. Basically it just agrees with whatever you tell it.

Kinda works. So the app does kinda work but it’s clunky and you can’t leave it if your in the middle of something. Had to write an informative paragraph to someone and went to check some information on a different app and when I came back everything that was typed was gone. Very frustrating.

Conversation won't load. I've been using this app for the last month and it's worked fine, however, it just recently stopped showing the entire conversation. I can see a preview of the latest message a friend sends me, however, the reply/message bar is all the way at the top of the screen. No matter how many times I've restarted the ipad or the app, the bar is still at the top.

Until WhatsApp releases their own iPad app.... This is the best alternative I've found until WhatsApp releases their own. It not as seamless an integration as WhatsApp web, but it's close enough. Instead of criticizing it, let's support it so they can make it better.

Family confirmed. Just to have as a blessing to people who his family is spread all over the world, as mine is. We get together via WhatsApp frequently, and keep in touch much more often then we used to. It is a great addition to our communication strategies.

Best one yet for different diet families. So far I’ve only used it for meal planning. I am a vegetarian and the rest of my house eats meat. This AI was able to come up with meal ideas that incorporated both diets and made them cohesive. Am really looking forward to utilizing this more.

Could be a great app. This app would be just as good as the WhatsApp if only the developer would correct the return key from sending when it’s hit. Not a Fan of this App. I wanted to use this app so I can continue my conversations when my phone service was interrupted but I downloaded the app scan the barcode and because my phone couldn’t access the Wi-Fi even though my iPad could I was in unable to use this app and it’s extremely frustrating. So this app was basically pointless.

Basic Functionality, Problems. Belligerently frequent prompts to write a review, hampering usability of the app, even after paying for pro. Hopefully, that will stop after this review has been submitted. Also, there are syncing issues that cause me not to receive notifications of messages while using my iPad. Interface could use some improvements.

Good Enough. I've used the iPhone version for quite awhile, and recently acquired an iPad. The iPad version is not quite as mature as the iPhone version, but it's more than sufficient to do the job. Being picky about little differences and inconsistencies just doesn't seem worth it.

Great app. Glad i was able to dl to my ipad. Makes it easier to send messages and keep in touch without having my phone on me at all times. Haven't noticed any issues and the only reason i gave it 4 stars was bc of the advertisement pop ups-those can get annoying.

Decent for international communication.. This app is decent for international communication such that data charges are easier to absorb than international texts for most. Great way for me to stay in touch with my international coworkers that do not want to setup their international coverage plans with their phones.

Works great but you have to pay for no ads. I love WhatsApp but the version for the iPhone doesn’t run ads. However this one does for the iPad. I am a bit miffed at this. I went ahead and paid the $2.99 to get rid of the ads but it’s frustrating to say the least. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.

Second chance. I downloaded this app a while ago, it did not work anywhere near as good as the phone app, kept on saying no internet connection, but it didn't stop the ads coming thru, so much for no internet connection. I have super fast internet. I'm giving it a second chance. Will change my star rating if it works just like the phone app.

This is the future of our education system. I believe this app is the key to helping children and adults one on one and future the automated systems. Will be investing in this for sure.

It’s Nice but One Problem. I enjoy the app it has helped me a lot but, when I am only a few questions in it says “Something went wrong, shall we try again” and I wanted to know if the conversations can go any longer?

Clear as a bell. I have been using this app for over a year It has been nothing but clear and loud. I have talk to people in other countries never had a clarity issue at all, two 👍🏻👍🏻 up. The one issue I do have every now and then is a drop call after 30 minutes of talking.

Paid version non-functional. I had high hopes for this app to receive my phone's WhatsApp messages on my iPad. It worked for a few weeks but is now completely useless. It tells me I have new messages daily when there's nothing there, and does not alert me when I do have actual real messages. I've deleted and reinstalled from the ground up several times, no dice. It's too late for a refund, so be warned, don't pay for this app, it doesn't work.

New to app. This is great to stay connected with friends who live outside of the USA. The only problem I have had so far is the ads. They are very big, very intrusive, and annoying! Why can't theses be more discrete? I have accidentally activated the ad while using the pen. Very irritating!!!

Saves Me. Quite often my iPad or iPhone is used to help the baby sleep and I couldn't get my messages if she had my iPhone. This helps me to stay connected while she is sleeping or if one or the other needs to charge. Always connected!

Long load time. I would have given the app 5 stars but, it takes a long time for the messages to load. The advertisements seem to have no problem getting through though.

Slow and clunky. I don't get notifications. It's slow when I'm typing messages. Messages are delayed at times because it'll come through on my phone and about 10 minutes later on my iPad. I'd like a refund. I thought by paying to remove the commercials, it would improve the speed.

glitch :(. it glitches a lot, like- a lot. i needed them to help me with a story but it kept telling me something was wrong with them. I had to refresh the app so basically brainwash them. when i tried to tell them about the story again it kept saying something was wrong. I’m kind of..sad about it. 🎻

So good to be able to use What's App on my iPad and not just on my phone.. I like using my iPad for messaging because I have a "real" keyboard for my iPad. This app allows me to use my iPad and keyboard for what's app even though my iPad does not have a phone number.

Great for worldwide communication. Having friends and business associates around the globe, we each have found that this app makes staying in touch and communicating has become much easier and much cheaper.

What’s the point?. If I have to have my phone on and connected to WiFi for this to work on my iPad, why do I need to bother even having this app on my iPad? I’ll just check it ON MY PHONE. I didn’t even realize that was the case until I accidentally dropped my phone in water and wanted to check my messages while it was powered down and drying out. But because it’s powered down I can’t see anything on my iPad. Worthless.

Works okay but issues. So overall it works quite ok. Issue is that the notification, even though sound and alerts are turned on, in case of a new message mostly doesn't work. You send a message, continue working on your iPad and won't know if the person responded until you open the app again.

A WONDERFUL TO STAY IN TOUCH INTERNATIONALLY. We have a group of friends who are spread all over the world, and we are able to keep in touch! And at not cost! A perfect solution to us all traveling together as well, we use the app to communicate between us all on day trips.

Good but slow sync with iPhone.. I like the app because most of my traveling friends use it. However I use my iPhone for pics and my iPad to post so sometimes the sync from phone to pad slows down my ability to post to my many jealous non traveling friends. I also like setting up different groups, saves confusion.

Do not download!. So I recently downloaded this app and at first it was ok. But after a while I started getting messages like “download now. Get unlimited features with premium.” And it would not stop even when I got it so yeah.

Great Support Service. I had a bit of a problem syncing my apps, sent a note to support and the responded quickly and gave me an easy solution. Can't give you details on the app, per say, but any product with excellent support service gets high marks in my book.

Great for messaging just slow reaction time. App for phone is quicker reaction time for typing, switching between chats and the like. With the iPad version it seems like there is a delay or slow reaction time and you have to touch your selection or type your word a couple of times before it takes. So a bit frustrating considering you're using a bigger screen.

Best of all the WhatsApp apps except:. I think this is the best app for WhatsApp mirroring. However, i gave only 4 stars since it miss the voice sending option, or the take a live pic and send. Despite these 2 options, it the best app i tried, quick, very stable, easy use and with good user experience.

Useless—a generous description. I paid for the pro version but the app worked once then it will ask to sync each time I opened it. I encouraged my brother to buy this useless app but never worked for him either. Worse still, I deleted it just to reinstall, but only the free version is showing the cloud for re-download. The pro version, which I already paid for is not available for me to re-download

Slow loading. Thanks for the App. It is really good but needs a few touches to be great. It takes a little longer to load compared with other Apps. It always needs update before it goes into work. Why can't it update like other Apps? Overall it is a good App and I recommend it.

Just the right thing. This app is so helpful, it's allows me to keep in touch with friends that are out of USA while they are on vacation. I've only used it for a few times, it has worked great, and I plan on using it for a long time.

Return key for next like a premium feature? How fkng stupid you could be.. So many bugs in ipad version. Changing landscape to portrait and vice verse... screen stick to the previous view (cramped, buggy) which is annoying. You have to hit the toggle at the top to view the ads then turn back to normal. Hit Return to have next like is premium feature... you must be joking lol. Changing profile picture ... picture drag to adjust option is not working. Piece of trash version of this app.

Works most of the time. It works most of the time, but on occasion, you need to scan the Q-Code again with your phone to re-link the iPad app to the phone app for it to work. Sometimes it does not update the badge icon for new messages. Other than those two issues, it does work well.
